Worst bartender! We came as a group from San Diego, a friend recommended us but the bartender named Jeremiah altitudes us very badly. My friend wanted to buy me a drink but I had such a sugary drink that I wanted to change but he charged us again. These payments were definitely canceled! By the way, I asked for water but he wanted to sell me a bottle. In this country cup of water has to be free if you sell alcohol. He didnt know that! He almost kicked us out of the bar with his answers. And because I was sitting at the bar I could see that he was doing all the drinks wrong. Too little alcohol, too much soft drink. If I come again I will never buy a drink from that boy. Also last think; at the end of the conversation he told me not to talk to me anymore, I have never seen such a bartender in my life. It is really bad for friends who work and labor because they lose us because of people like this who do not like their job.
Fantastic experience!! Visited so that we could see plane Jane performing and LOVED THE CLUB. Multiple areas that play different music which all have their own bars. Each area feels very separate and the isolated. Drinks were reasonable and not watered down. With all the different areas for drinks, never had to wait even though I visited on a busy Saturday night, that happened to also be the 18th anniversary. Gogo Dancers were hott, and entrance fee was 20 for a Saturday night. Great time!!!
The worst club in terms of customer service.I asked 3 different employees where the Main Stage was so I wouldnt miss the Artists performance.Everyone pointed to a different room!As a result, I walked between the rooms and at the end of the performance I caught the artist.I have no desire to visit this club anymore! 💯Even the bartender didnt mix the cocktail well, he just poured liquid from two bottles and served it to me. 2 of 10! 🤢
Nice place but one of the barmen ruined our mood he charged us for drinks twice because he made it wrong drink we just asked its not our order but he did not take responsibility at all and started an argument with us he used very arrogant language against one of my girlfriends! We paid but definitely, he does not deserve that money and must understand he was wrong otherwise we can pay its not the issue!
I travel to Vegas sometimes. Ive been to Piranha in the past and didnt have a pleasant experience, but my friends in Vegas said that Piranha is the hottest gay spot in Vegas and I decided to give it a second chance. I was Very impressed with the bar, the organization is spectacular, even a manager called Patrick was very nice to me. I dont usually write reviews, but the good experience I had at Piranhas was a good surprise. 5 stars, without a doubt.
Fun but pricey. Horrible parking. Exceptional (female) bartenders.Drag shows start super, super late; this is a young mans gay bar.Exciting to visit but I am a fan of more chill/relaxed establishments with craft cocktails.Definitely visit if youre a tourist or looking to go all out (money and time) until 4 AM.
Pirranah is my favorite Gay Nightclub in Las Vegas. Its always very busy and has a cover charge on the weekends. Its also 2 stories and has 3 dancefloors. Its by far the biggest of the gay clubs and its located right next to the other 3 gay bars/clubs. Gipsy across the street and Quadz & Double Down are across the street. This club is very secure and safe and requires you to go through a security checkpoint before entering.
I was bores here. We stayed for about an hour just to give it a chance. The back area was playing Latin music and there a crowd in this area but I dont understand Spanish so it would maybe been fun it I knew that music. The place is too small in general, felt stuffy in there
Personally really enjoy coming here but it gets so crowded you can’t move, and it’s so loud. I love that they have multiple rooms and music and great drag shows. I’d personally prefer to be at their other bar across the street at Gipsy because you have more space and it’s easy to hang out with friends. But it is a club, so I can’t discount it too much. I know what I’m getting myself into.Drinks are $$$ but it’s worth a visit if you’re in town.
I see that the reviews are mixed here, but as someone who is sober, I had a fantastic experience here. So the group I was with got a table & bottle service, the whole nine yards. We were treated with respect & the minute they found out I didn’t drink, I had my own little bottle of sprite & it was never empty, which I really appreciated so much. Everyone was kind, attentive & super friendly. I loved the atmosphere in there. One thing I also noticed is that generally the place smelled really good. Maybe everyone just smelled awesome tonight, who knows. Lol. But overall it was a good time, we danced & really felt well taken care of.
Piranha Club: Where the Party Gnashes Its Teeth (in the best way possible)! If youre looking for a night in Vegas thats as hot and fierce as a piranha shoal, look no further than Piranha Club! From the moment you walk in, its all electric vibes. The air crackles with excitement, the lights pulse with rhythm, and the dance floor is an aquatic maelstrom of pure joy.The music? Killer. Every nights a genre-bending feast, from sizzling house beats to pop anthems you can belt at the top of your lungs. The DJs know how to keep the energy high and the crowd moving, and those surprise live sets? Lets just say prepare to lose your wig (metaphorically, of course, unless youre feeling extra fierce!).But the crown jewels of Piranha are, without a doubt, the drag queens. Honey, these goddesses of glitter and sass are pure entertainment gold. Their performances are jaw-dropping, their costumes are runway-ready masterpieces, and their wit is sharper than a piranhas tooth. Whether theyre lip-syncing, cracking jokes, or just working the crowd with a killer stare, theyll have you screaming for more.Speaking of the crowd, its the most inclusive and welcoming mix you could ask for. Everyones there to let loose, have fun, and celebrate life in all its fabulous forms. No judgment, just pure acceptance and good vibes. Youll find yourself dancing with strangers, singing along to iconic anthems, and feeling more connected than ever before.Piranha Club isnt just a club; its an experience. Its a sensory overload of fun, music, and drag that will leave you grinning ear to ear and begging for more. So grab your sequins, your dancing shoes, and your inner diva, and head to Piranha. Just be warned: you might just get bitten by the fun bug, and its the most delicious bite youll ever take!Five out of five stars, no question! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐P.S. Dont forget to tip the queens! Their talent deserves every dollar.
Ghil the bouncer was SO cool to talk and vibe with, great security!!! This places knows how to treat its people. Had an amazing night. This club offers so many different genres of music to dance and vibe to. Crowd is also 10/10. Had a WAY better experience than the overcrowded and overrated straight clubs on the strip.
I have mixed reviews about this club. I know it’s one of the “hottest gay clubs” in Vegas, but it’s different than it was 4 years ago. It used to be geared more towards guys and now there’s a mix of everyone, so it doesn’t have that “gay bar” feel. The drag queens are excellent performers and we had the honor of meeting their manager. Very honorable gentleman and he’s doing a great job. My main complaint is that the dance rooms back by the fish tank smelled of puke, and the staff did nothing about it. The floor was sticky, someone had obviously vomited. The music choice could’ve been better. We didn’t know exactly where to dance because none of the music was good. The staff was very nice but the drinks were incredibly over priced. We did meet some really nice new friends. But after that visit, I’d rather save $80 on booze and drink free at the casino.
They price drinks on a curve. Three drinks later wth the same drink, bartender the price increase to an additional $10. So the tip began to decrease. Also, bring cash. Nice vibe though
My husband and I felt mocked and made fun of by a security guard, so I met with the service manager and the head of security to explain how we felt and they seemed to be understanding. Two days later, we went back with friends and we were all kicked out because our friend spilled a few drops of her drink on the dance floor and they said that they “remembered us from the other night,” which seemed extremely unfair and showed that us expressing that we felt targeted on the first night not only fell on dear ears, it cause them to target us on the next trip in. Really sad because we’ve been going to Piranha for over a decade and we no longer feel welcome there.
Security is so inept they couldn’t manage a litter of sleeping puppies, never mind a shoulder-to-shoulder, over-capacity crowd. Went with a group of friends for my friend’s 40th birthday and was probably the worst nightclub experience I’ve ever had. My friend was physically assaulted MULTIPLE TIMES by a self-proclaimed group of “regulars” who was attempting to shove their way to the front of the stage. Security outwardly admitted they would not do anything because they were frequent visitors. And finally, after my friend finally stood up for himself, we were all kicked out.I don’t care how good the dancers were. I did not feel safe there and will never come back. For an establishment in a tourist destination like this to willingly allow such aggressive behavior from locals is SHAMEFUL.
My girls and I went to Piranhas Gay Night Club and we believe human trafficking was going on. while there, a couple aggressively tried to get my friend to take a drink and was offended when she declined, along with a group of people in black coats just standing there with their phones pointed at us dancing, obviously recording us. when we tried to report it to the bar tenders they were so dismissive, said anyone could record (that wasn’t the point) and said there’s nothing they could do. Felt like this is common. We were so freaked out we left right away. Please be careful.
Positive: The waitstaff service was exceptional. We had the VIP bottle service and we were well taken care of. The pre-show music and ambiance were great.Negative: We had reservations and switched our bottle service from a bottle of Skyy and Champaign to two bottles of Skyy and after the card was run, the bill was $200 higher for a 75 ml bottle which I can buy for $12. The website also said the show was at midnight but it wasnt until 1 am. The time flip was tough on these Midwesterners. The manager said the website wasnt her responsibility. She did try to appease by giving us another bottle of Skyy, shots and she sent over the dancers and a performer for photo opps. Our friend had a good time but the $200 difference definitely set a damper on the night. Also, the actual show was just OK. Buyers beware! Id prefer to give 2.5 stars do to the manager.
I just wanted to say thank you to piranha nightclub. You guys were amazing. I had a wonderful experience at guys Club I’m thinking about going every other month that is probably going to happen next year and you never know I might be moving there very soon. The dancers were amazing The bartenders were incredible. The drag queens were Amazing. Hope that one day I could have the opportunity to work there and perform 10 1010 across the board. I love you guys. Thanks again for making this Experience amazing Trust and believe me, I will be seeing you guys very soon. Sincerely, Bryan Garcia from Denver Colorado.
Always wanted to come here and I was not disappointed. Great drinks specials and the queens were really entertaining
Good atmosphere specially in the Latin area, but in the edm zone the bartender was rude as f. And miss respect the whole group..
I have been coming for a long time, and I am increasingly disappointed, the music is bad in all three rooms, in the Latin one there is no variety Selena must be turning in her grave, they dont even let her rest, in the other two it is the same list of Plays over and over again, they dont change, last night all three rooms played the same music, aimed only at one pub, we know which one, bad music, you cant dance, no pop or disco music and even less mixes, the old-fashioned DJs, it is one more attraction in Las Vegas where it is increasingly empty,,, a shame that they do nothing about it, since without a doubt, it can and has a lot of potential... before you could recommend it to visitors Now its embarrassing to do it, Im sorry but its very bad, change the music, play music that you can dance to.
Nice place the staff was friendly his music and they had Latin drag queens 👸
Warning: this is a classic big city gay club experience! If you don’t like cover charges, expensive drinks, and long lines, don’t go here. That said, the place is huge and really awesome. I went two nights and got to see two totally different drag shows as well as a bunch of different dancers. There are two dance floors, an outdoor patio area, and an upstairs balcony that looks down into the area where the drag shows are.If you want to tip the dancers and get a good spot for the show, don’t be afraid to push you way up to the stage just before it starts. The drinks are expensive, so don’t be too shocked.
Absolutely so much fun! They have male go go dancers that look great btw and the drinks are good. Catered more to gay men and not very many girls but that’s okay. I was wearing a see through shirt and they made me cover my nipples, which I don’t understand because it’s Vegas but okay. They also wouldn’t let our friend bring their camera in but they settled on him leaving the battery. Other than that everything was great
Piranha is a gay club in Las Vegas. Piranha gets busy after Midnight and stays open late. Its nondescript building hides whats inside. After you get through the intense security (pat down and metal detector), the front door opens to the dance floor. Behind the dance floor is a bar. The look of Piranha on the inside reminds me of a cave. On the main dance floor there are a few places for people to enjoy bottle service which you have to reserve.Keep walking through a hallway to the back and you enter a second dance floor with another bar. The night I went the front dance floor had dance music and the back room had latin music. I didnt see many people dancing in either room. They did have gogo boys and girls that came out, but again I didnt see many people engaging with them. The bartenders were a mix of shirtless men and women who all were strait.I came here on a Sunday night. My biggest issue with Piranha is the drink prices. They are the same prices you will pay on the strip for a standard well cocktail. Maybe they could offer drink specials on slower nights to bring in more people.
I came from Boston to come here, but you can’t enter with your bag, the problem is not this. But they don’t have a place to pay and leave your bag.
This club is one of the best in Vegas. They have everything from great shows, great music and some of the best dancers. They have Latin night, Drag night and all kind of other things going on. Dj Virus is great. We had great time here with some friends. The drinks are very strong and reasonably priced too.
Ive constantly been coming to piranha nightclub for over 10 years give or take for my birthday every year. For the same reason Ive always had a blast and has never been disappointed. I love how you can have choices depending on the day of the week you go. As there is about 3 different dance floors with different music 2 big outdoor patios. Great drinks and VIP service. They definitely have reasonable prices for being a club that big in Vegas. There staff has always been very respectful as have I.Even when Im intoxicated.I only say that because Ive seen messy drunks not being able to handle the liquor and can get out of control but yet those are the same people that will write a bad review. With that being said I just got back from my vegas trip once again sep 2-7th,2022! I once again had a blast! Except that on my second night of going out to Piranha Nightclub I left my wallet, phone, credit cards,Id, cash. Probably somewhere outside or a bathroom who knows. I tried to go look for it and was gone I thought to my self Im screwed! my birthday trip is ruined! It felt like I had lost everything and now I wouldnt be able to get back home with all that missing. I woke up the next day and immediately tracked my phone to see where it was at. After trying to call it multiple times but I thought that would not help since my ringer was off.I was so blessed!!! the next day when I went back to ask if they had found it and they did! And not only that but everything was still there including all the cash I had.FOREVER THANKFUL !! to Piranhas Nightclub and all the staff, and security for finding my wallet and for such an honest establishment. I now have even more respect for this Nightclub and will always stay a very loyal customer! Hope to come back soon!!
Worst experience I’ve ever had at an LGBTQ+ bar. I do not recommend to anyone from out of town.
I’ve never had to write a bad review before but here we are because this was probably the worst experience I’ve had at an establishment.First of all, I had a great time at the club up until me and my partner decided to go across the street at another spot for a bit. Upon returning to Piranha, we were not allowed back in without an explanation. They would not give us a real explanation as to why. We just danced with each other for 2 hours so our actions could not have contributed to this. Either they confused us with someone else or they were just plain racist since my partner was the only non white person in that line. Either way it was very unprofessional. Unfortunately will not be coming back to this place.
The club is really nice, it has 3 rooms in which it plays different kind of music (latin, pop, black music...). It is a good place to dance (I don’t know what happens in US - I’m brazilian - but nobody dances in bars/clubs).But I guess is really crowded during drag shows, because I got in at 1:45 PM and there were still too many people, so consider this con. Another problem is the drinks are too expensive. So I recommend you go to Quadz before (just accross the street), drink a lot of drinks for around $6 and then go to Piranha at 1 PM.If you wanna see shows of drags from RuPaul’s Drag Race, that’s your place. Entrance is not free, check the website.
We wanted to go out on a Friday night and we decided to go to this club around 12 AM . first of all, they were trying to charge us regular fee entrance of 20 bucks per person. And for locals it’s $10 you have to let them know otherwise they will charge you the full price. Don’t let them fool you. Then we went to the Latin room and we hang out in there for a little bit the DJ was horrible playing the oldest Reggaeton songs you can ever think about not trending songs. Music really sucks. The bartender was nice, I think he was the only thing nice about the place. The facility it’s really nasty they don’t really clean. There’s about one bathroom per room we start wondering to other rooms because the music was bad in the Latin room and it was the same in other rooms definitely not coming back. The security guards were kicking people out with no reasons and stuff were pretty rude to everybody go spend your money and have fun somewhere else. This place is not worth it.
No nice service for me, today I had very bad experience at the entrance, the guy and lady were very rude with me and my group, because when we arrive he was speaking with another guy and he was offering gum to them and do not attended the line, I have a pic from him, the worst experience at this place, I use to go there but tonight was really very bad nigh!! also we are frequently customer and we had very nice experience from this place, the customer service of the place is very important to any business, they are not very nice to do this job, I just told him that he do not to be delay on checking and he told me get out like a animal, was very bad experience for me and my group.I would like that for the future this inconvenience does not affect the quality of the service and does not gag decrease the quality of the place. I recommend that these types of people who do not have a good quality of service to customers do not work in this place and the staff who are dedicated to recruiting workers do a better job of recruiting employees
Came here with a friend on one of our nights.Never been to a Gay bar before but a friend was really needing someone to go with them since you shouldnt go anywhere alone. It was actually pretty fun and interesting, above what I was expecting. Drinks were a bit up there, dancers around the spaces you could tip to do a little dance for you. Drag queen shows and dancers made the rooms fun. They had different area rooms playing different styles of music, as well as an outside sectioned off seating area. Fish tanks led to another room with an upstairs overlooking the bottom dance floor, where they also had a stage to do shows on.Honestly kind of fun.
I love this place ❤️ it could be better they need to make it bigger
Out of towner visiting second ever gay club. It was fun. Unlike the well known straight clubs, the drinks were not watered down. There was space to dance and seat. The bartenders were very nice. I had fun.
Worst bar Ive ever experienced. Security guards closing doors off and forcing us through crowds where we basically were getting crushed. Seriously the most unsafe I have ever felt in a club in my life. Literally do not go here.
We had a ton of fun here, but the experience was made truly incredible by the bartender - Daniel Tower! He was wonderfully kind, gave me a safe space to cool off when I got overwhelmed and overheated, and had the BEST drink recommendations. Thanks for keeping the party going for us!!!
Emil took great care of our group. He was dressed with elegance and very chic, His customer service was beyond, he made sure we had a night to remember. He had great knowledge of the available offers for the night and knew the place like his own home. Highly recommend to go get bottle service with him when you go.
Great bar tenders, gogo dancers, and drag queen performances. The quality is truly world class all around. Through the week, no cover and strong drinks are $10. The music is amazing. Its just too bad you have to deal with the amateur hour security experience before getting in.The one black guy is a complete embarrassment to this business. He clearly thinks hes a comedian working for the NSA or Homeland Security. Gets off by denying entrance and making awkward weird jokes. You want to tell him to f*** off at every second of the interaction. Hes just so greasy. Im sure he affects sales right off the top because he tries to ruin your night immediately.
My favorite bar in Vegas. 🧚🏻♀️ Piranha is geared to be more open to everyone, instead of being a strictly gay bar, which I really enjoy. It’s full of people of all different backgrounds, sexualities, and genders while still keeping true to the gay bar vibe. The dancers, queens, and bartenders all are really kind and amazing as long as you treat them with respect. They have tons of amazing local queens that frequent the place often, ESPECIALLY Leilani. Oh my god she is incredible. If you get the chance, you have to see her perform. ❤️ I see a lot of reviews here where people from out of state obviously aren’t used to a busy club environment. My biggest piece of advice is to speak up for yourself and don’t be messy! If you do that you’ll have an amazing time at an amazing club. Oh, AND TIP THE DOLLS!!!
My friend and I went to Piranhas last night and were met by Emilio We had the best table service ever!! Thank you Emilio, for being so professional, knowledge and making this night the best in a long time. You by far, are one in a million!!! Even though you were busy and had other tables you made us feel like we were important and keep us feeling VIP the whole night.
If you wanna get turned away for being latino or a minority, come here to start your night.
Bouncer was absolutely rude when I asked where to park he said umm the parking lot.. and when I said this one? He said no.... Thats it unhelpful. Also refused to fill up my cup with water, dont think thats legal. My husband had shoulder surgery and can only lift it so far. When getting checked in he told the bouncer that, he lift his arm and hurt him!
I think this club is very overrated.Average drag showsNot so good cocktails and they are expensive.Security however is very good and you will be safe.Location is a 10 - 15 min drive from the strip depending where you are staying.20$ the cover and includes nothing.Music is no the best so we change from room to room wandering when the dj would finally put some trendy music
Pay $20 to get in. No seating anywhere, no water stations. Tons of other areas roped off for an additional fee. Other gay bars are probably more worth your time.
Weird crowd and bad musical taste. It feels like a cabaret bar designed for tourists, especially women. Staff is rude and the place does not accept apple pay.
Love this place! Went with a group of friends last week and had a great time. We got bottle service and the main VIP table. The host, our personal bartender, and the dancers were all fantastic. (Side note for those interested, in addition to being friendly, all of the bartenders and dancers were extremely attractive.)Im already trying to justify going back to Vegas just to visit Piranha again.
It’s the only gay club they have in Vegas so they make it hard to avoid. It is tally not that great and the security are always trying to kick u out for no reason. Watch out if security likes u and u don’t take their advance. They will kick u out and make up any reason for u to go! No manager will get involved and they willl treat u like a 3rd world citizen. Visited here and it wasn’t a great experience!
This place takes itself way too seriously.First off, the $20 cover charge (they call it an entertainment tax which is hilarious) is ridiculous. The drinks are overpriced and are poorly made. And for a place that charges you $20 just to get in the door, apparently those American Express credit card fees are just too high for them to take your Amex card. The entertainment is decent and is the only thing saving what is otherwise a very mediocre overhyped gay bar. Unless your friends or a date are dragging you here, go some place else.
It makes me nervous when a bar charges for TAP WATER. Especially when you’re trying to sober someone up. SHADY. Drinks are over priced but I get that. Don’t charge me for some tap water in a glass. I would give 1 star but the dance floors were AMAZING and I loved the atmosphere so it made up for a few stars!! I just would recommend drinking elsewhere first😂
My husband and I went to Piranha last weekend and ended up having the best night of our lives. We have been to a few gay bars and nightclubs in other cities but something about Piranhas made us feel so happy and comfortable. I personally dont understand how this place doesnt have 5 stars. We are from Phoenix AZ and close enough for weekend getaways; cant wait to go back.
My niece and I were at the club this past Friday evening (1/21/22) and had a great time. It was so nice to let loose and just enjoy. There was one hispanic male dancer who had the most beautiful smile and body - I was lucky enough to get to go right up to him and put a $100 bill in his super small :) g string. It was a blast! I fell in love!! HA! I hope he spent it on something he enjoyed because I really enjoyed just looking at him. Thank you for a great time - we are from Montana but we will be back!
We went to this club today 10-02-23 and purchased drinks at the bar. While paying with AMEX card, the bartender took our card and return after a minute saying that they dont accept Amex and requested another card and we did give him MasterCard to pay. When we paid he returned the mastercard but not the Amex card, so when asked him to return our AMEX collected in a first place, he claimed he gave it back to my partner, which was a lie. We called the security immediately and they called some Manager who spoken to the bartender and then came to speak to us claiming unfortunately he cant do anything about it as there is no proof that the bartender nicked the card. We couldnt not believe this happens in bar just like that and is covered up by the security and the management . BE AWARE DO NOT VISIT AS YOU GOING TO GET ROBBED. Apparently this an organised crime and we noticed they even did not shown any remorse or been afraid of the fact that our card got stolen so they have done it before for sure. We left and had to block both cards and reported this theft to the Las Vegas police.
The place deserves its name for the staff. A gogo staff member serving shots in test tubes scammed us. He came to us asking if we want some, then distributed shots to people around us we didn’t know without consent, charged us for 11 shots but frankly they were 8 given, then ask us for tip and took 15$ (literally serving himself from our wallet). So, 60 dollars later, we got 2 shots that tasted like non alcoholic popsicle juice. We didn’t enjoy the night. I felt like I was robbed. That’s not how you treat patrons.
I just remembered that I forgot to review Piranha when I was in Vegas last weekend. My friend and I were visiting Vegas from Portland last weekend. We visited Piranha on 11/6. We had amazing service from the bartenders to the security. We ordered tacos from the food truck outside and security brought them to me when they were ready so I didnt have to wait outside. I forgot our server / bartenders name but he was such a sweetheart. We were even given a tour of all of their dance floors since we had never been there before. We got to see a mini show before we left. It was fun and cant wait for the pandemic to be over so the the dance floors are reopened, because I want to dance! I will definitely make this my routine spot to stop in whenever I visit Vegas! Keep living your best life.
Had such a great time! Great music and great drinks! Emilio the manager accommodated my group wonderfully and well definitely be back!
The guy charging the cover is super rude. Has a horrible attitude. My friend is local they made a mistake with her cover when she asked about it, the guy Simple said to leave if she didn’t like it. A simple question was asked for him to answer that way is not ok. I haver never seen this before and I have traveled to many countries in the world and places in US. This guy thinks he can treat people the way he did and it’s not acceptable. A supervisor should talk to him about it I am sure we are not tan only ones treated this way it happened today Saturday night April 1 2023 after reading other comments the same guy does it to mother locals too
My friends and I really enjoyed this club on a whole. The music was great and there were three different areas to dance. They also had drag performances and cute go-go boys - what more could you ask for! However, the drinks were very pricey - $10 for coolers and $11-12 for mixed drinks. Also, bartenders refused to give water for free even when my friend was feeling sick. Wanted to make us pay $7 for a bottle which was totally unacceptable. Despite that negative element I still had a great time here.
The idea and theme is different, different rooms with music. Like other clubs. The prices are to be expected I suppose if we are comparing this to another club at the wynn with prime location. I wouldnt say it would be the fairest. However the energy is still great, my only complaint is its maybe time for expansion. Maybe some valet service since parking can be difficult. Maybe also even add gaming rewards cards? This is the only place Ive been where I put in almost 100$ playing without the offer of a comp drink.UPDATE: THEY NOW CHARGE 5$ for usL O C A L S. 😩UPDATE AGAIN: 20$ FOR LOCALS 2023 MARCH**IM POOR PIRANHANOV 2O23 BREAKING NEWSIn todays story it is now $10 for locals particularly If you want to know the know of who to pay off just to get in all the time. Not an employee. Maybe an employee go ahead and DM
Very rude staff , the man that looks like Fandom from Hercules with that dried wig and damaged teeth was the most nastiest looking individual I’ve encountered and his attitude matches .Uncomfortably rude to locals charged us $20 instead of $10 brought it to his attention even showed proof We live here ignores me completely I’ve been here over 20 years never experienced such a sad representation of the standard. management should definitely review this type of conduct such a bad tone to set before paying and entering an event.Drinks over pricedmusic old selectioncrowd mixed diverse
They were soooooo bad. So basically I made a reservation which was confirmed via text as their bottle service requests are. I arrived with my party and they claimed there was no reservation while we stood waiting outside (we have the text evidence). They made a big stink about fitting us in when once inside the whole bottle service area was empty lol. They made us pay cover which is not supposed to happen for bottle service parties and said we needed to purchase 5 bottles. Our reservation was for three bottles, more than enough for our party guests. It was obviously just a scam to upsell. I guess there aren’t many options in the area so… what can you do. Tourists will continue to come but I have to say it was very disappointing to be welcomed by their team.
An incredible venue, great entertainers, and more!I went here on a Wednesday for the 1:45am drag show, and it was lively, with dancers before the show, and very talented drag performers! The service was great, and the space both inside and out side it really cool! Ive very seen a club/ bar with the same look. Its very unique!I will definitely come here again when in Las Vegas!
The music the played was awful. I cant believe how bad their dj is
Highly overrated. I dont understand the $20 cover. The service is sub par and it was covid with fewer patrons at the bar. Its not like the bar tenders are busy. They should do a better job checking in on the patrons. The bar tenders were wearing skimpy outfits. So, what? I couldnt care less. Doesnt excuse their lack of service. The drinks were weak and overpriced. Why pay $20 for a drag show? They had no dancers. Nothing. I abandoned this place and went to Charlies. The bar tenders were friendlier and the drag show was lit. No cover! If you are visiting, I highly recommend you skip this place since they charge $20 cover for visitors and have really nothing to offer. Total rip off.
This club was comically bad. We treated ourselves to bottle service and it was clear immediately that no one who worked there really knew what they were doing. It took about 30 minutes to pay and be seated at our table, and then another 20 before we received any drinks. After the waitress dumped off our order, we never really saw her again. It was busy and the crowd was fun, so that salvaged the experience a bit. Then when we decided to leave, I went the wrong way and my partner grabbed my hand and pulled me in the right direction. Apparently this indicated to bar staff that we should be bullied and escorted out by security. It was truly unbelievable. It was clear that his establishment only survives due to its location. It was terrible from start to finish and the moment they have proper competition, it will fail.
This club was everything! My besties and I went on a Tuesday night and it felt like a weekend. This was our first time there and the go go dancers are EVERYTHING!!!!!! So hot and so worth it! The drag Queens are also very talented. Definitely coming back here on my next Vegas trip!
They will get your items stolen!!!The manager is terrible. He asked me to leave my bag outside the main gate. When the bag was stolen he lied that he had told me that securing items is not his responsibility. My Airbnb was just 2 mins walk away if he told me that I would have left my bag in my apartment. They refused to compensate me or even look at the camera to find out about the thief. How many people would like to go to such terrible places who only care about profit with $15 cocktails? (and similarly high priced other drinks!). The quad has a much nicer staff.
I ordered a cocktail and danced with my friend. Tipped 50% on my cocktail. Then requested a water with tip in hand at the bar and was refused. Another bartender came up and when I said I could by a cocktail for a water as well he said yes. $7 for a water in addition to the cocktail. It felt really disrespectful to be refused a water by the first bartender when I had tip in hand. The heat in Vegas is dangerous and well paying customers deserve a water, no? 2 stars because I had fun dancing but also am very upset that I was refused literal water when I left a $5 on a $9 tab with the same bartender 20 minutes before. It wouldn’t bother me as much if water was more readily available to patrons. Honestly ruined my first nightclub experience. Give your customers water when they ask for it. It really isn’t hard.
The drinks cost a million dollars ! I was amazed . Across the street was cheaper drinks and a better atmosphere . Loved the go go dancers and the thong wearing bartenders. It was so crowded it was amazing. Beautiful inside and the bathroom is like wow. So nice and clean with an attendant. Bottle service is 275 but not a lot of places to sit .
Came here to gamble and dance. Put in $20 in the machine and made $1 bets, asked for a drink since the bartender didnt acknowledge me. Then asked for payment, being a Vegas native, tried to educate him that Im majing dollar bets which is a comp, but kept telling me I need to max bet... Had a conversation as thats not how it works, he did give me the drink, but maybe they educate their employees how gambling works in Vegas... Regardless if youre a club...Edit: went here again and was trying to leave, the guy put his hands on me. Never recommending this place. Terrible place!
Wow - I live in NYC and went to Vegas for some fun. I was FLOORED by the price of drinks here! I had a Bacardi and diet coke and Vodka Tonic. It was $32!!! I have never paid that much for basic drinks in NYC. Also, they were served in small glasses and the shot was measured (which is fine), but the bartenders didnt even fill the shot all the way. I will not be back there as one drink pays for a whole bottle for them to buy. They should be ashamed charging that much. We left shortly after. On a plus, the music was good and the dancers were good as well. They are just out to get the gay crowds money, which is a shame. Dont go, just stay at the casinos or be prepared to pay around $100 for 3 drinks for you and your partner.
I had lots of fun here with my friends! This place plays all kinds of music 🎶, especially latin 💃🏻 the workers are friendly! Plus there are taco trucks outside! So after all the fun and dancing/ drinking. You can eat outside! There are also other bars around the place. So hopping is fun too!
This club was very fun on a Saturday night. $20 to get in (expensive but doable). $10 for a corona. 18 for a tequila soda (expensive but it’s Vegas). My biggest issue was that after spending $120 on drinks and tips, I asked the bartender for a cup of water and then he told me they only have bottled water. I just hate liars. Be honest and say that you don’t give out free water. I’m fine with it if you’re honest, but for you to tell me you don’t have any other water?!?! I was a bartender. There is a water button on your bar gun. Lol. $7 for a bottle of water btw which I think is disgusting. Also I went on Sunday because the website says $5 well drinks until midnight. The bartender said oh that’s not every Sunday and charged me $12 for a well drink. I am not looking to be cheap, I just hate when people lie. It’s a fun bar but unfortunately it feels like this place is taking advantage of the gay community who usually have disposable income. My recommendation is to pregame hard, buy one drink, and take your empty cup into the bathroom and fill it with sink water. 😂
I came as a straight man with 2 gay men and 7 straight women but I was the only one turned away. They discriminate towards straight men. Do not go if you are straight, you will be turned away.
Please do not go to this bar. The security guards are very unprofessional and aren’t willing to understand that your property aren’t valuable and will literally toss you on the curb and cause you to have a concussion on the sidewalk just because you’re dark skinned… my party will never retiren to this establishment due to the HATE towards our QUEER culture. PIRANHA PLEASEE HIRE ASSOCIATES THAT UNDERSTAND QUEER CULTURE because your security does not.
Best lgbt 🏳️🌈 place in town. We loved it. 🥰
Good: The venue was huge with multiple rooms with different music and the energy was there even during the pandemic when I went 2 months ago. Fun colorful test tube drinks. Had 3-4 dancers in 2 hours. We were a table of 6 and we were taken care of.Bad: They started a tab with my boyfriends credit card for the tab for 6 and we paid for the test tube shots in cash. We only had 1 round of drinks and the tab wouldve been $80 max and but they charged over $200.SO WATCH OUT FOR THEM OVER CHARGING!(We didnt notice for a month until we checked our bank statement)
Service was good. The atmosphere was a little dated for being a premium LGTBQ+ club. The cover was expensive for what you get. Overall, good time with great people. Prefer more 2022 updates
Had a blast, great atmosphere and nicely done renovation!!
This establishment is a DISGRACE to the LGBTQ+ Community with snobby/RUDE staff. A restroom attendant was yelling this is a WOMENS restroom! (all night) and angrily pointing people out of the restroom including non-binary looking folks. $60 cover charge (NYE) as if they have a grand venue on the strip. Bartenders and staff seemed like they were having a bad day and taking it out on you when you havent done anything wrong except be sweet and patient with them. I wouldnt mind overpriced drinks and cover if it came with great or even just decent service, but absolutely NOT for this HORRIBLE service.TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT/OWNERSHIP. Multiple of my other friends have similar stories with bad service/experiences at this place. If you want to go to a gay bar, youre better off at Phoenix or Freezone. Its unfortunate that Piranha is the only full-on clubby place for gays here in town. This monopoly allows them to take advantage and squeeze profits out of our people.
Came with $500 in ones and was tipping amazing dancers and having a good time, and then one bald guy with no taste told me to leave for drinking even though I wasnt drinking. Would leave zero stars if I could.
Did you know you can do coke there but can’t have weed in your pocket?
I have been coming since 2019. It’s an absolute must when I am here! I try to come at least twice a year ( from Georgia) I love Rod Palacios, Joshua Parsons. I miss Oniel & Enrique. Goodman is an absolute diva and I love every single one of the people I named!!! Thank you for being a forever memory for me!!!!!
I had such a blast here! My friends and I met a nice bartender on the bus who showed us the location of the club and even got us V.I.P access. The dancers are hot, hot, hot! Everyone is dressed to impress. Be prepared to tip the bathroom guy! Drinks are pricey, especially compared to the clubs in the Midwest. Be prepared to drop $11 on a bottle of Bud Light. Youre only in Vegas for a short time, so why not party like a rock star! Dress like you own place and bring plenty of money!!!
This place was nice. The Staff was friendly. But no, $14 for a Jack & Coke is not normal pricing for an off strip establishment. While I understand you want to make money... Id rather go across the street for a whiskey (dont get the coke substitute.. it will be awful there) and have a straight up whisky. But dont get me wrong, the staff was kind, and it was a great place, except for the drink prices. If the drink prices were below $10, Id have given it 5 stars, otherwise, cheaper to get a drink at the Mandalay Bay hotel bar.
I find it disturbing that they don’t metal detect or pat people down before coming in. You might as well bring in a flask of alcohol in your pocket since they don’t search people. On top that they charge $10-15 dollars for a watered down drink so the flask will come in handy. Also they charge locals $10 dollars on top of that. Even if it’s empty inside. I also find it disturbing that they don’t give out cups of water. If you want water you have to pay $7 dollars for a bottle. They refuse to give you a cup of tap water. What kind of bar does that? The owner of this club is on another level of money hungry and reckless.
Drinks were insanely expensive, especially after paying a ridiculously high cover charge. The bar was fun and loved the different rooms. The bartenders weren’t very friendly, i get it’s crowded but the eye roll isn’t appreciated when ordering a drink that is 20.00.
Have been there a few times. The place is completely fun and you can always have fun. This place is completely drama free! Great music and dancers. Best bodies and the bartenders are super cute in their cute undies. Great service! Amazing shows! Lot’s of fun!
Very young crowd. Dancers were not even entertaining. Wasn’t impressed.
First time in Vegas! One of the many places I got to stop at it was great ! Great service James W. our waiter/Bartender was great! Enjoyed the shows! Overall great vibe! I’d visit again! The owner was also nice and checked on us several times!
First I didnt want to go because of the negative recession, like for example that the security stuff is homobic and racist. I dont know if the club owner have reacted ln that but the security stuff was all queer and also the bartenders inside were quite friendly. I had the time of my life there. And no one had to leave bags or so outside.
Piranha Nightclub is definitely my favorite spot to go to in Vegas when I visit! The bartenders and dancers are super friendly and fun, especially Omar!!!The environment is like no other!
Ive changed my review now that they brought back some of the drink specials during the week and Sunday. Only thing about this place thats a down fall are the expensive drink prices. Atmosphere is obviously great but I mainly come here for the awesome DJs and friendly bartenders. If friends/family come to town or I meet new people this is a spot I always recommend. Though the drink prices are a bit high, everything else makes up for it. Im not much of a gogo dancer admirer but Ill admit theyve got some very attractive dancers both girls and guys. If you have any issues with drunk people or being pestered please notify the staff, they take things like that seriously and are on the situation better than most professional security at those high end clubs. safety here is their top priority.
I hate this club. Overpriced, they always charge your card multiple times for one order. Staff are amazingly rude and pretentious. I’m not sure why. Piranha is only the busiest gay bar because no one stays in town long enough to open a decent one, since vegas sucks if you stay longer than 3 days.
I had a great time, there was a drag competition, excellent music and a variety of settings. There is lowkey outdoor seating as well as dancing and performances inside.WATCH OUT FOR WORKING GIRLS. Its a great place to meet people but nearly every guest i met and hung out with ended up trying to charge me! I ended up meeting a gorgeous girl and taking her to the Double Down for a quieter space..VERY Expensive, RUDE service. Still though, its one of my favorite local bars and totally worth it!Also there ARE people of color (earlier review by a guest says otherwise). And i dont just mean the rainbow colors! I was the only white girl in a group of 5 one night and it was not awkward for anyone. We only stood out from our clothes, NOT our colors!
I ordered two shots, and was charged with two redbull vodkas. When I corrected the bartender, he proceeded to charge me with a larger bill that did not reflect my order. He received zero tip tonight, and I caution anyone who frequents this bar to stay cautious. They will overcharge you and take advantage of you. Be mindful of the bars you visit.
At first I was recommended this club to all my VIP guest and all connections but tonight you guys let me down as my husband unfortunately need to do his business so bad in parking lot as it was freakin freeezing and one of security saw him and wont let him in ... come on when it was super cold outside and he need to pee so bad then what was the issues ?! I do clearly understood about Nevada Law ! Just so unfair
I was visiting Vegas for the first time in a while and decided to party like a local. I discovered what locals referred to as The Fruit Loop and started my night at FreeZone. After dancing there, I decided to walk over and check out Piranhas. Although nice, I felt the drink prices reflected a high end club, however my surroundings indicated a lesser place. I really had fun dancing though and the crowd seemed friendly enough. I never had a problem finding someone to grind on. I will go again when Im back in town!
The place sucks . They tried to confiscate my eye drops which are prescribed for my medical condition. Security sucks... The guy at the entrance couldnt make difference between a medication and whatever they been told to search for. They dont even deserve my money... Do Not Go !
The music and look of the bar are amazing!! The cover was ridiculous $20 for non locals, also drink prices are ridiculous. $20 per drink! Don’t go here unless you plan to spend spend spend!
I never know how to feel in the loop. If I’m being honest I never get that warm and fuzzy greeting from people.
Went there last summer in July for my sisters 21st birthday. The music, the energy, the people... Everything was great. I was sober too. It was just different and full of life. Everyone was friendly including the clientele. It was fun to dance the night away to Latin remixed music.
Front Bar when you first walk in Bud Lite and Vodka water $16, same drinks at bar back right $9.00 🤔 (yes both drinks got rang in) Dancers.. Sexy not all could dance that well. I did not experience rude service I am a black male.. there are situations that occur from time to time. I worked as a restaurant GM and I have had to escort ppl out. Everyone loves to cry victim when they are probably the reason for the situation. I will give them a second chance just visit the back bar for my drinks lol... I will post if I have any bad experience here.
My first time here was AMAZINGGG I loved the music , the people were so nice and the service was immaculate. When I come to Vegas again I will be visiting the club . Highly recommend!!!! Thank you piranha !
I’m a little late posting this review. I went to Las Vegas back in September of 2021 and went to Piranha for the first time, which has been on my list to visit for years. I had a blast! Seriously, one of the most fun experiences in my life. Piranha is definitely a favorite place of mine in Las Vegas. After going the first night, I went every night during our visit. The gogo dancers and bartenders were hot, which is why I kept going back. I like to spend my money on dancers at gay nightclubs. Why else go to any bar? Where I’m from, I’m not used to seeing men like that. The gogo dancers and bartenders really made my year. I will be back.
For those who are not a local and need a place to be your self for the night, come here! Club was amazing the music was stunning. Drinks were a bit pricey compared to other places but the atmosphere could not be beat. The gogo boys, the queens, and the DJs were giving life. Also if you are not from the state have cover ready to pay at the door as there is two lines, one for locals and one for tourists.
Came for the drag show. It was a little short but all preformers were amazing. We got bottle service and we were extremely pleased with how everything went. Cheap for the bottle, great seats and fantastic views. Would suggest bottle service for groups of 5 or more.
I wasnt a fan of this place. I liked the concept of multiple room with different music and decor, but they need better crowd control. The place was packed and they just kept letting more and more people in. Id be afraid to get caught in a fire here. On a side note: the only thing I felt that made this a gay club was the male go-gos and bar tenders in jockstrap, but more than 50% of the crowd were straight women, which is fine because, all are welcome. However, they were all over the go-gos and blocking the aisles, making it difficult to walk around. So if you are looking for a place to go hang out with your gay friends, I wouldnt recommend here.
Wouldve been more stars but-But the door lady who checks IDs is so rude! Our group turned around and didnt even go in. As a local, I completely understand they deal with alot, so they might not be in the of best moods all of the time, but customer service should be at least one of their properties- as they are the first contact you make before entering the club. Theft of property is unacceptable. Myself, nor my friends will probably ever come back because of her :(I usually love coming here with my friends because its so fun to dance, they have so many different rooms and they play good music!! Even though the drinks are a little pricy- the atmosphere is awesome!!!
Pretty much the worst experience and priciest here in Vegas. Music is terrible, nothing new. Decor is OK. The crowd was fun. So we had a weak lemon drop 16.50 a sex on the beach 13.50. $10. Cover for 2 ppl each. $50 As someone else commented shame on you for taking advantage of the gay community here. This bar is not at that level. Be humble.
Worst club I’ve ever been to in my life! I’ve been all over the world and never felt such racism. Not a safe or entertaining place for black gay men. We spent over $200 for a section to get put out the area for a group of white Gays. The service is horrible on top of the racism and they make their own prices for locals versus visitors. You’d be much better off going to a straight party than wasting your time going here.
Loved the whole atmosphere, we were celebrating my bachelorette the first night and we absolutely had a great time we went again the following night! Host was Salem knight she was an amazing performer as well! Joshua kept us hydrated with shots lol Babbs was our beautiful bartender and memorized our drinks. Marina took care of us in the bathroom with any needs. And Gwendylnn kept our table clean of any empty cups or shot tubes. My wife and I had our straight friend go with us And we all had awesome time! 3 different dance areas with different music.
Only been here once before. Do not go here if youre a lesbian or have a vagina. Ive never felt so disrespected at a gay club. I asked for water, and get a staunch you have to pay for water. Alright, thats fine, Ill pay for water. I try to buy water and this guy goes about making drinks, ignores me, avoids eye contact. I then try to ask where the bathroom was, because at this point Im thirsty enough to drink tap. This bartender takes offense and thinks Im haggling him, and threatens to have me removed from the bar, all the while ignoring my pleas. Im not at all a confrontational person and didnt utter so much as an offensive word at this rude individual. I had a concerned look on my face, and that was all. So, I finally find the bathrooms, and theyre out of order. Womens restroom only, of course. I circled back around to tip over a half-empty Red Bull he was using for mixed drinks, something I would normally NEVER do, because Im so upset at this point. I wish I got his name to report him to management. Ill never go back there, and Ill be SO sure to tell my gay friends about this. You would never get this level of disrespect at Phoenix or Free Zone. Please do not disrespect women in your establishments. Please work somewhere you dont have to interact with females, if you dislike them so much. Thanks.
This place would be great if the bartenders weren’t complete jerks, the bouncers micromanage you and tell you where you can stand or dance or breathe. The music was poppin and it could be really fun but when a bartender ignores you for 15 minutes then snatched money out of your hand and say “what do you want” in a rude tone, it kind of ruins the vibe. Worst bar service I’ve had in a long time! You chose to work in a club in Vegas to work in your underwear, don’t take your poor life choices out on me! Jerks!
Not enough room to dance without being cramped and whenever you use your card they will put a $100 authorization on it without even telling you first which will last for a few days depending on your bank. Definitely not okay when you’re on vacation and need money. Also one of the security guys was a jerk, but that’s usually how it goes.
Two friends of mine saw a drunk guy getting into a car with a group of strange men screaming “I don’t want to go with you guys. I don’t even know you” my two (female) friends then approached and asked if he was okay. One of the men told them to mind their business and then proceeded to punch one of the girls in the nose causing it too bleed tremendously. While they got another friend to attack the other girl. Security watched these men beat them up while eating wings. Then proceeded to tell them if they would’ve used their defense mechanisms, he’d shoot the girls. But did nothing to stop these grown men from assaulting them. TERRIBLE JOB PRESENTED LAST NIGHT. 0 STARS!
Paid $25 to see gottmik the dragqueen the venue was overly packed. Drinks are almost double compared to surounding bars and clubs. Im surprised the fire Marshall wasnt called. Im 65 in high heels and still couldnt see over crowd. I couldnt even walk. No TVs to see Gottmik either but had one in the main room for someone else.. Half the people couldnt even see her perform... Glad at least I waited in line to get a photo with her...
Great end of the night, just check your bunk rude ass security. They were vicious when a friend stepped over the rope, with NO LINE,so he can use the bathroom before our Uber got there. After $50 of drinks, itd be nice to leave on a good note.
The size of this club is very small. The djs never plays songs people request even tho they are top 40 songs. Drinks r overpriced. They should invest more in space and get rid of rude workers.Other than that this place is the most accepting place in Vegas and the energy of the people is incredible with lots of dancing which totally eclipses the cons.
Will be in Vegas in September never been here so I really dont know what to rate this establishment but from reading many of your reviews looks like this place is very shady, racist which makes me not want to go to this place as I am latino , seem to cater more to the Caucasian people . Why would you even have a latino dance floor if what Im reading is correct your a bunch of racist, rude, unprofessional employees ? This makes me not to even step into your establishment and take my business elsewhere
BE WEARY be careful going to this harmful toxic environment, make sure the racist, POCtobic don’t swindle you out of a fun night in Vegas, they made our night a terrible, make sure to get your stamps from the entrance even if you pay and the hostess says you are good, they are trash and will try to make you feel like such, you people should know better. Only go there if you feel like being treated like garbage at the least inclusive pace in Vegas
This place is beautiful and so much fun. I would give this place 5 starts, but here are my two main reasons why I dont give this place 5 stars. 1) No free water. Water should be free at every bar, especially if you are buying drinks there. 2) Very expensive drinks. Almost $14 for a tiny margarita. So make sure you pregame somewhere else and arrive drunk at the venue. 🤣
Bartender was great and the manager has came up and talked to me thanking me for coming and coming back. 1 more night in Vegas tomorrow and I know where I am going. The sure make a good ol boy from Minneapolis have a great time.
We arrived very early and came here for the show but with the Covid changes we were told by security seating was assigned. We were seated in the front of the bar near the entrance and couldn’t see the show at all except for a bad tv feed. We were extremely disappointed and will not return.
Not Trans friendly had a hard time getting through the door due to the name on our credit card being different than our government name......had a hard time paying for drinks had to have a friend pay for all my drinks and then reimburse them since I couldnt use my own credit card...and the Staff are rude they act as if they could care less about your patronage.Wait times at the bar are attrocious , good luck getting a drink in a decent amountof time...
It’s adorable, it’s cozy, the guys are cute but it tends to be more of a local bar versus a nightclub. I did enjoy the outdoor hookah lounge which was my first time and I had a great time overall it has a cute dance floor and enough bars to drink.
Friday Aug 19,2016I was in this club with My Friend Andrew who come to Vegas from Chicago to celebrate a birthday, book in a VIP service at piranha club, the worse service ever anywhere, dont care about prices thought are ridiculous overly price on the drinks.Saturday Aug 20, 2016We decide to give a second chance to the place, got drunk, having fun in this little tinny over pack place, again, I was sitting by the patio since it was extremely hot inside since they seem to dont care about taking more people in that they are supposed to, summer time in the middle of the desert hot out and inside and this drag queen who where booking the VIPs come to me and said quote (honey you have to move from here and go somewhere else, this is the VIP section) there where no sings of reserve on the area , no drinks and other guys sitting in the same area I was and I was the only person I was asked to moved and I did without saying a word back. First I dont care if she or he is a drag, Im gay and I give respect to everyone no matter what. Second, if she have the right to asked me to move she could used a little bit of courtesy and be professional before any situation. Third, after I was asked to moved and just me alone, the other people stay at the same area just chilling chatting and smoking, I asked them if they were VIP and they said no, so I guess this drag just was feeling with a little power on her that night and decide to used on me. So anyhow, personally I wish they were more options for gays near the strip, the only personnel were nice in this place the strippers , because everyone else from the door to bartenders they all rude and getto. Sorry such a disappointment . If Im going to spend money I will go to the straight clubs instead.
Been there twice. Same experience, I paid VIP section and have no place for me to seat down from all night of dancing, walk around to get my drinkd, standing watch down the dancing floor and watched shows. So, I got feet sore, I sat down for few minute and I got staffs asked me to stand up because of seats are meant for VIP only. If Im not a VIP, how come I able get pass the security point at first place? Uses common sense, workers... My exerience of pay VIP isnt worth my money and fun. The drinks were way over the standard price for Off Strip bar... The show at different night. First night, I went was amazing! Then second night I came back, there was no show. I waited and drinking 8pm to 4am, surfed the website to see any cancellation schedule but nothing pops up updates on their facebook about Drag Queen shows. So, I gave up and head out to my hotel. Was so disappointed with overall, their service.
Nice nightclub with two dance floors. Nothing big and fancy, but really cool place. A smaller room with a large bar and a small dance floor opens first, and after midnight a larger area with a big dance floor is opened. A friendly local helped me sign up for their text-service on my cell phone. Then you receive daily info on events as well as special promotions. Really cool.
There’s not much positive to say about this dingy old place. But if you’re looking to buy $10 domestic beers from staff with completely indifferent attitudes, this is your bar. Otherwise, take your time and money elsewhere.
Website posted no cover and 4 nights of contest... I was forced to pay a 20.00 cover and promised a show at 1200 am I was the designated driver so I dont drink. also website posted all you can drink for 25.00.. one beer long island ice tea and an orange juice for me other was for my friend cost 25.00 plus.... the bartender was very cordial and left him a modest tip. i hate promotions that say one thing and do not hold up to it. well at 0150 I could no longer hold out so we had to leave as I was falling asleep and was asked to leave...kindly i do add. both bathrooms male and female where filthy with water/urine all over the floor...
I enjoyed it! Free cover!!!! VERY CLEAN!!! A mix of people. Music is for all kinds of people, from tech to hip hop... loved it... to the owner: you should open one like this In Houston!!!! Awesome place!!! First time in Vegas, and this was such an awesome night and easy to get from the srip...
Way too loud to try to be talking to the bartender about a slot promotion. I was stiffed out of the advertised “play $20, get $10” bonus. Cash out button on machine was broken and bartender gave me a hard time about it. Not an enjoyable experience. Nothing else about the place seemed particularly good either.
I love this place!! This gay club is the funnest and best place to be. No judging, excellent music, great dancers and vibes, hot people, busier than any other gay club at night especially Saturday nights, and theyre very friendly and fair about things. Always expect it to be packed late night on the weekends especially Saturdays.
A big plus for the pooltable and flipper games, first time ever Ive seen that in an LGBT club. Nice bar area, a few hot shirtless waiters as well. On my night here the hostess did a really good job of getting the crowd going during the show. Overall a nice experience, but far from ie Abbey in LA.
The place and music are ok, but charge $11 for a Corona beer is too much and the place has 1 bathroom. They are lucky there is no better place to go in Las Vegas.
This club has a great theme. How ever music needs to improve. Drinks are average price and good. Disappointed for being a gay club in Vegas I wouldve expected a lot more.
I brought my Colombian ID with me The ID clearly stated expedition date not expiration so for that reason I was not allowed to go in I kept trying to explain to security that The identifications work differently in Columbia The security guy was stubborn and did not want to listen he yelled at us and told us to get out of line
The drinks was regular but the atmosphere the music was amazing! I will back only for the music.
I’m a 20 year old college student at Michigan state university. Graduated from south lake high school In 2015 as a honors student. I have worked for usps since 2016 as well great hard worker. I never have got into a altercation or suspended from school never even had a parking ticket. I’m a free spirited low key person and always been lame, by that being said I’m currently out of school for summer break and had vacation time so my sister and her friend asked for me to go to Vegas so I decided to go. My sisters friend is gay and wanted to go to a night club we all went and had a great time. The next day we went which we ate all under 21 !!!! My friend got in and I didn’t so I explained to the man that we got in the night before what changed today ? They got really disrespectful and loud ! So I opened the red gate things to get out the man attached me because I called him gay pulled my hair beat me like I was a 140 pound man ! I have scars all over my body which I’m about to upload ! The police where called and I asked if they could watch the camaras they said the camaras where down how convenient! I would never go to this place and the night before I tipef all of the dancers and spent 120 or so ! Veryyyy disappointing! Very bad experience! Worst place ever !
Drinks are water down and over priced. Music is horrible and no one of color, well no dark skinned workers. Security is rude and think every black customer is there to start trouble. I dont like this club and wouldnt recommend it to anyone.
They refuse to give you free glasses of tap water at this place even after multiple drink purchases! If your fine with a bar that’s too cheap to give you out tap water and charge $5 for a little bottle of water this place is ok.. gay scene in Vegas is still depressing however!
I feel I am so lucky to have a husband who is comfortable with our spectrum of colors from deep blue to neon pink, who is secure about having cute Go Go Dancers dancing around us, dressed on their skimpy outfits. Well their underwear. It was so fun.
The crowd is great / friendly. The bartenders and dancers are HOT HOT HOT! Being gay and driving for Lyft, I am almost always there from 3 - 4:30a to take you safely from the club to where you are staying. If you dont have Lyft / have never had an account with Lyft, use my code glenn040 to get a discount on your ride home/to your hotel and for other rides (until the discounts are used up). Enjoy!
Music, entertainment, atmosphere, the love! Piranha has it all!Its truly an inviting place. From the decor to the performers, you wont be disappointed!Piranha Nightclub is my home away from home.Always my first choice if Im looking to have a great night.
Came to Vegas for the weekend visted @piranah night club, and it wasnt what i expected. We asked for jager and red bull we were given vodka, what stupid bartender. I do not know what they water there drinks down, but it was disgusting, we felt dizzy like it was poison, you guys charge 15.00 for a drink with no liquor nasty and watered down, nobody wants to drink that S***. If your planning on visting DO NOT GO HERE, they rob you for your money even at the entrance not worth it. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY go somewere else or make your own drinks
Over price drinks, I dont have a problem with paying more money for a expensive drinks as long as a I get what Im paying for. The security people at the door, I would recommend them for a security personal for U.S. embassy on the Middle East since they over the line on procedures this is Las Vegas not Benghazi Libya. Dont waste your time.
It is a beautiful place , but things get stolen .. like my bag.. and the crew instate of helping me and assisting me, took me outside and close the door in my face. It is super sad that even thought they have cameras they werent able to assist me or even bother to help me.. so if you go there make sure to keep on eye on your things because they will get stolen. Hoping to hear from management soon hopefully they will help me stop the bandit because if this happened to me it might happen to much more people.
Jeffery was the best! He immediately had high energy and couldnt wait to make sure me, and my group, had an amazing time! Come see him!!!!!
If youre looking for a fun night out in Vegas at a gay club, then Piranha is really your only option, but a few things made it not a great club experience: its steep cover charge; it gets insanely packed with really long lines both at the door and for drinks; and its interior is not super clean. That said, the music and performances were entertaining and the atmosphere extremely lively! I probably wouldnt return but I dont regret going; its fun to check out at least once.
The manager on that Sunday night was not or never try to help me out as a customer the card was given to me that supposed to have represent the manager, Paola Salcedo, she came in went to bar never checked for card try to talk to me over the bar with wild screaming music until I asked her to step outside and speak with me. Her bi revelation was I dont have your card...duh
Absurd prices - nice bartenders and hot dancers - no cover but they make it up with your first drink - arrive drunk and have a good time! $13.50=stoli and soda??? Small glass of ice and soda with stoli essence - Seriously?! This aint the 4 seasons.
Great bar tenders. Not all but mostly clicky gay unfriendly patrons (whats new lol). Go there with friends or just dance and be yourself. Someone will dance with you. Different Go Go boys for every type. Affordable drink specials. No cover charge.
I came to a international event tonight and was turned away because I had small bag. I tried to explain that I flew in from out of town but there is no consideration from the staff. They should have the policy spelled out on the event posting or at least let the customer know so we don’t have to wait 45 minutes online and then get turned away.
WOREST CLUB IN VEGAS!I had the worest experience of my life there. Im talking to my friends having a laugh near the bar, then head to the toilet. Suddenly Im being excorted out of the club by security! I ask why? Whats going on? And apparently I was accused of stealing the bar tenders money... The worest thing is, The bar tender never even got told off for such accusation and they never apologised! It was a tormatic experience and Id never go there again.UPDATE: 4 years on and I never got an apology for the accusations, I never got shown footage to prove they were wrong. (Which proves guilty) All they care about is physically and emotionally hurting their customers.
Like everything that matches just another cesspool of creation and Im so grateful cuz youre all hoarders by now I mean go there on your birthday I just happen to go to any club and that was the creep night of my 36 years leading me to this moment God cant do better thats cuz I hear intelligence intelligence yeah every club and every little department role models in my face care people protect people and talk because you needed not here theres already a Colosseum in your rope not campussed by the way those tubes tied for a reason at least
This club is one of the Top 5 clubs Las Vegas has to offer! Great staff that care about everyone that comes to the club. This is the kind of club that feels like home and they treat you like a friend on a first name basis. The mood Dir. Hot Chocolate sets the pace right at the front door.
Great club, several dancing rooms, good music. BUT!!!!!! I won VIP tickets for GayDyas in Orlando a month ago and never got them. I called every day and even messaged them on FB, they saw my message but didn’t bother to respond.
Ive gone here with friends, and by myself, and had a fabulous time. Met some really cool people here. Last visit got to be in a skybox! Lots of love for us local peeps too. May not be the fanciest gay club in town, but it can be one of the most fun. 😎👍
We paid over 1000.00 to be at this club as VIP and after the third bottle of alcohol is gone they tried to kick us out of our booth...my 89 year old grandma could not be on her feet which is why we reserved the table in the first place.i know we will not be going back to this night club any time again and we were going to come from my grandmas 90th birthday. I hope the owner can rectify this situation.
I went here and their card reader does not work. I showed them my bank statement via phone and they insisted I went to their own ATM. I used another form of payment and they STILL called the police to escort me out. At this point I’m confused because I paid for my drink but why I am still getting escorted out by the police, I’m thinking it’s because I’m darker than the rest of the crowd. I will not return here again on my next visit.
This place is so much fun! I love the Latin part and the bartenders are very nice . All men are very handsome as well! This is my first time at a gay club and I can say was the best experience!
This incident happened on 05/03/2018. This incident happened on a slow Thursday night in a fairly empty lot.DO NOT Park in their lot or in the area. My first time there, my Mercedes passenger window was smashed and car ransacked. James Martinez, the Security Manager and his team failed. BIg EPIC FAIL! He wouldnt even come talk to me. He sent some girl and a young man to say its not their fault. I wanted to talk to him directly, but she protected him by saying he was on vacation. I asked for another manager and even the owner. Not a single manager seemed to work there. Really, a Nightclub without management or head of Security? The young woman even said they had signs in their lot and the surrounding area on where to park, but there we all missing. The young woman even said they had a break-in problem and would take my number and give it to the investigator. I asked what the investigator was going to do and they said: Probably nothing, but note it. Not very comforting.James Martinez, the Security Manager has failed in his efforts. HIs Security team is a joke. Not only was my car and me violated, I had two laptops, $1000 cash, and my Iphone 8+.Once again, your belongings are not safe. The security team from James Martinez is a joke! NO ONE walks the lot to keep the undesirables away. Everyone should really ask when they walk in the door if their car and if they themselves are even safe.
Amazing club! The owner, Aldo, is a beautiful soul who makes sure there’s always a great atmosphere. An absolute MUST if you’re anywhere near Vegas!
Pros: Two dance floors, a balcony, a small patio, nice music, nice crowd and no cover.Cons: Too crowed, A/C felt like it wasnt even on. Strippers, dancing people and I were sweating like crazy! Smoke, couldnt breath and had to get out three times to get fresh air in a period of one hour and a half that I was there... It felt like I might of gotten lung cancer after that night lol
My friends & I went to Vegas to throw the best bachelorette weekend for my sister. Trying to get the whole Vegas experience we were having fun club hopping on the strip. Then the man of honor suggested we go to Piranha nightclub, seriously we ended up having the best time there!. From the beginning to the end; the bouncers were welcoming, the music was great, the bartender was friendly and served our drinks perfectly, the guy servers were good looking and attentive, the dancers and performers interact with the crowd. A lot of them went out of their way to hype up our little bachelorette party and wish my sis good luck, which was nice of them. Piranha club added to our fun memories on our bachelorette weekend.
They have some expensive drinks. 10 dollars for one corona. But they have some really awesome shows. Be ready to drop some money. Hey its Vegas baby.
Where to even start? I dont know how this place stays in business. The drinks are outrageous, $13.75 for a vodka soda in a short glass with measured shots. $7 for a bottle of water and no tap... what bar charges for water?! Getting through the douchebag rent-a-cops is like trying to get thru immigration into Mexico. Avoid and go across the street to Freezone or back to the strip
Fun and great place to go ..was my second time there on my vacation and man never dull a moment ..had so much fun until 5am ..music is great .😊😊😊😊😊
They have limited hours which suX. Plus the employees just don’t get with the program as they should be. They r going downhill. So good luck with keeping ur customers. Cuz I see a shut down happening in the future for them.
Bartender Mario has a nasty attitude. Ive been to this place before and havent been treated like this. Asked for a mojito and was told he doesnt make them. I said ok, can I get a zero calorie Rockstar and Greygoos and a CUP of water. He tried to charge me for a Voz water bottle ( Mind you Ive been here plenty of times and never had an issue with just getting a glass of water )... He said this is the only water your getting from here in a very sarcastic voice)I just left but when I was leaving the bar he screened across the club I already poured your drink after I refused the drink due to his bad attitude. Went to another bartender that didnt have this problem giving me a glass of h20 white making my drink and had no attitude.Mario needs to be retrained with better customer service skills.
After dinner and a show, we didnt want to pay loads to go to a proper Vegas club. This was great on Saturday night, arrived at 2am, no cover and not obscenely packed, with fun, dancey music.
This place is alright, def not the worst or best iv been too. Music is decent, 10 bucks a beer is a bit much, and the ppl are freindly (though some can get pushy but thats anywhere). Usally swing by when im in Vegas hanging out at double down or quadz.
I came to this club Saturday and I had so much fun that I also came the next day. The music and the great energy from the bartenders made my visit a night to remember. Next time I visit Vegas I am coming back here again.
Bar was fun. 2 shots of tequila, one 7 and 7, and one bud light = 54.00 + tip. Pretty eye candy, but way overpriced. Do drugs or get drunk before you go......
Awesome and amazing venue. Nearly did not go due to the negative reviews posted here. Absolutely none of that held true. Best go go dancers in the USA was the icing on the cake
Was in Vegas for my first time so wanted to check out the clubs … club was good but the bartender are little rude that would be my only complaint the male entertainers are 🔥😍
Terrible service and manner from the bouncer who uses curses word and searches you like a policeman. Very rude service and hellish check in process
So u want explanation ? There u have it. Sort your security outPaiid 7.50 for entrance, been asked to take my coat in and leve it in nightclub, pent money on drirnks and been kicked out for no reason whatsoever, only because some jerks who where absolutely wasted and where trying to sqeeze in our company for obvoious reasons, said something to security and when I asked why we must leave, there was no good explanation given..it means if u dont like someone -tell security and person will be kicked out.....so if u cant manage amount of people, limit attendance, simple as that.Absolute mess otherwise.Your previous reply on my 1 star with sending me to hell shows your attitude to customers, swearing in Google reviews- well done
The bartender bad actitud? They like angry, not friendly, Alejandro in the bar, very bad actitud, he does not know he is bartender and he has to be good person.
Straight couples are ruining the place. Like literally go to the thousands of clubs that are dedicated to you and your heterosensual lifestyle choices. Yikes.
This is the best place in Vegas !! goGo dancers are so friendly! Too much fun!!! Love it! I had my best birthday weekend ever ❤️❤️❤️ with my friends from Michigan !!
Kind of the default gay club in Las Vegas to stop by... and they know that which means its patrons will wait forever to get in so they can be charged an arm and a leg for cover and drinks on weekends (especially for non-locals). Literally, better options across the street.
