We celebrated my husbands retirement at Gold Spike and everyone had an amazing time! The manager Will went above and beyond to make sure that all of our needs were met :). The bartender Lexi always had a smile on her face and was happy to serve us, our friends and family! The security at the door was friendly and we all felt welcome! I highly recommend this place for your next happy hour, event or just to have a good old time! By the way, their happy hour has great drink prices! Enjoy!
It was a dark but mostly welcoming place situated in old downtown Las Vegas. It was a bit off the beaten path, but it was not hard to find and within walking distance of the main street there. The people were nice, and the drinks were affordable. There were also large games you could play for free, which was fun and an interesting way to spend time there as well as meet new people.
Door security is tight, but I can appreciate that. We came here on a Friday evening before it really became busy. Bartenders were prompt and friendly. The music was a good vibe. I noticed several security personnel standing in spots around the club, so again, I can tell they have a strong focus on security and dont want to take S^*t from people who try and ruin a good time. Id definitely return again!
The drinks were poured pretty heavy so they’re fairly worth it. Lots of games to play and good atmosphere if it’s busy but ladies be careful! Women’s bathroom door is kept propped open and multiple male workers stand outside the door. They stopped my friend and I while we were in there, and it made us uncomfortable. When we confronted them about it, and said that it made us uncomfortable that there were multiple adult males outside the women’s bathroom watching us, they told us we could leave if we were going to have an “attitude.” We did leave immediately after because we felt uncomfortable, so just a heads up if you’re a girl and wanna come and use the bathroom! :)
Thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Gold Spike. We didnt expect much as it was a weekday and Wednesday evening. It was nice to have the space for my group and the food was delicious. The chef was an expert and really courteous. Im excited to come back here when I am back in Vegas. Thank you for a great evening!
I am very impressed and highly satisfied with the guestroom, it was beautiful, big, bright and airy. The shower, amazing. The decor, amazing. The smell, amazing. The wonderful customer service I received from Ms. Kreshendo working the front desk, was refreshing and needed after a long drive from CA. She gave us a room upgrade, we were able to check-in 1hr early and she recommended places for us to check out while we are in town, you go girl!!! The location is 1 block away from the Freemont street experience along with several night clubs, and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family!
If I could give this place less than one star I would its horrible I paid 1200 to stay a week two nights of the week they refused to let me in they told me its because they dont know who has drugs trying to bring them in I said Search me I have nothing to hide by the way I was here to have surgery not to party but yet they said no I cant come in I asked them what Im supposed to do they said its not their problem. Not to mention the rooms are horrible the wall by my door was falling down the air didnt work the shower Barely drizzled water out they refused to make anything right treated me horrible the only respectful people working here are the cleaning crew anyone other than that are rude as can be the Bouncers are headstrong and think theyre better than everybody and just give you a hard time for no reason. I did nothing wrong to these people I. Caused no problems for them. I didnt even hang out at their bar, but they treated me. So Horribly take it However you want I read reviews Before.I came here none too bad Well, theyre making their own reviews. This place is horrible I would not recommend anybody staying here In fact , in my whole life , this is the worst hotel I have ever tried to stay at Stay here at your own risk.Because I promise its not gonna be good
Quaint little place right on Fremont street. Great price for a Saturday night. Room was nice. Bed was comfy. Will definitely stay again.
The indoor/outdoor option is why I like this place. They have giant games like chess and beer pong outside along with a couple other games outside. Inside you’ll find pool tables, darts, a huge connect 4 and a couple other games. This is a great option for date night as well as groups. I haven’t tried the food.
You get what pay for. The only reason they have so many consistent reviews it’s because they have a review roulette where you can get free stuff if you leave a good review. The rooms are fine, the staff is not. They are rude and condescending. They act like they’re doing you a favor. Again, the rooms are ok, AC can’t keep up, and water pressure is barely there. I wouldn’t stay here again, there’s other places at around the same price, but without the attitude.
Was part of a pub crawl for Pride with various locations participating. Arrived around 7pm wearing a Nuggets Jersey that happened to be rainbow colored, was not advised when entering location that once club hours start that the jersey would need to be removed by paying $5 for a locker, placed in a car(had UBER ride so no car to stash) or leave the premise as stuffing into our purse would not be allowed. We were not able to participate in the outdoor section of games(which I do not consider the club area). There were 2 other participants of the same event wearing jerseys as well(baseball jersey attire) and they were not kicked out. The party that we were apart of were literally sitting down on the couches in the corner(3 of us) just paid for another round of drinks and shots waiting for more people to attend as it was quite dead inside and rather uneventful. The sign that mentioned attire was not outside when we entered and was not posted until we left.
Sunday - Monday July 29th. Pros, the entrance was free, and the bouncer was nice. Cons, everything else. For the advertisement of a 90s party, there was one song in the entire twenty minutes that was 90ish. Everything else was confirmed to be 2023-2024 by our younger family that was with us. To be fair and honest, I could be wrong. Maybe the place is killing it during the weekdays and in Saturday. I can only speak for a Sunday night where we arrived expecting a cool 90s music party. Its not for us. We wont be back. Hopefully its better for you, but no promises. Cheers!
The hotel was the worst experience ever!! The rooms advertised on hopper are not the room that they gave us. The room was worse than a motel 6. It was disgusting and not cleaned. The TV did not work and the wires were just hanging. The furniture looked like it was from the 70’s and was beat up and had stains all over it. The walls were stained. There was a dirty washcloth on the bathroom floor. Hotel guests can’t go to their room freely and have to be escorted by security even though nobody was in the “club” which is a small dingy room with a dance floor. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and time! One of the elevators was broke down and we had to wait forever for the functional one. The floor we were on was flooded and smelled moldy. The outside music is load all hours of the night. The bed frame was falling apart. There’s only one plug in the room and it’s no where near the bed so charging your phone will be on the other side of the room. The lamps wouldn’t turn on. Just don’t go!!
I recently visited this bar and was impressed by the great atmosphere, the availability of games, and the friendly patrons. However, I was disappointed by the bartenders bad attitude, which really put a damper on the experience. The bartenders behavior gave a negative impression and its a shame that his demeanor didnt match the otherwise positive vibe of the bar. I hope the management addresses this issue as it detracts from what is otherwise a fun and inviting establishment.
About 7 people In The entire place the first time I visited. Seemed like it good be a fun place and maybe an off night so went again month later and they wanted me to pay a coverage charge to enter with a less than Half full place. No wonder the bouncers were arguing with some old guy when I arrived because it wouldn’t be worth it if it was free
Fun atmosphere colorful. They have a bunch of activities and games to play with your friends. Giant chess, giant and regular beer pong, twister, bunch of others. The activities are inside and outside. There were also multiple bars (always a plus) Started off having 2 ladies working in the bathroom Im assuming for tips with all amenities you might needdeodorant, hair products and such but they were packing up when we arrived. I would def return here
Unfortunately my friends and I had a horrible experience last night. We decided to stop and use the restroom at Gold Spike. One of my friends had to go pretty badly as we had just walked from another bar. That friend was wearing a long dress and heels. As she got in an empty line to her ID one of the men (security) said she could not enter due to her stumbling. However she quite clearly tripped over her long dress. Both myself and my other friend were not in line as we did not have to use the bathroom. We complained making sure that they knew we were not at all drunk, only needed to use the restroom, and that my friend clearly tripped over her dress. We left and went across the street and came back after using the restroom elsewhere. We came back I asked to speak to the manager we then proceeded to tell me it all about the “recovery”. I turned to both my friends and said “how do we look now? Do we look drunk?” The manger could not even answer the question. Because we all not drunk. I am a local who has been going to gold spike for years and I just wanted to highlight a very poorly handled situation by gold spike staff. On top this it was all white men, speaking out against 3 black women.
My friend recommended this bar. It just so happened I booked the OASIS hotel which is attached. This bar is super chill. Amazing staff. They have tons of games. Giant beer pong. Corn hole. Etc etc. This will be my go to bar strictly on positive vibes and excellent staff.
Hidden little gem just off Freemont. If you cant get the G Nugget or your choice of place, the Gold Spike delivers! Clean rooms, comfy, excellent service. I prefer the Oasis rooms by the pool rather than the GS tower rooms. Splurge for the king suite. Well worth it!
If you ask me, this was perfect location. You got Fremont st right next door. Lots of casinos. And they allowed our service dog. Even upgraded us to a better room closer to the gate. Little load at night, but it’s Vegas baby, no sleep round here
This is a very unique casino/hotel located in downtown Vegas. Definitely one of the main party places. They offer a lot of games and indoor/outdoor lounges. We had a. Birthday party here at the Real World suite and it was perfect. The suite encompasses the whole entire top floor which is about 5k square feet.Huge dining/living area area with a tv and couch. We had over 40 people here and plenty of room
Didnt know what to expect when we went in. Had a mixed group of middle aged people. Found a really eclectic crowd of patrons. Everyone was friendly. The bar tenders were very attentive and attractive too. Lots of things to do like darts, foosball, corn hole and a giant lite Brite. Drink prices were more than reasonable. A real hidden gem in old town. Will definitely be back with more friends.
This place takes a picture upon entry of your face — without approval, saves it and sends it to a third party. This is a serious violation of personal privacy. If you read the third parties legal FAQ on whether it’s legal or literally says “We believe that it is fully compliant”, which is not promising. Furthermore, their FAQ for how they protect your data is basically empty and vague. They are capturing biometric data without any confirmation of the legality nor the security of your information. This is all done without your consent. Even the TSA allows you to bypass the photo capture. Somehow, this small bar found a more legal and secure way to capture your biometrics than the TSA.
Absolutely loved my stay at Gold Spike Hotel! The rooms were stylish and comfortable, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the vibe was lively and fun. The hotels unique blend of luxury and playfulness made for an unforgettable experience. Cant wait to come back and spike another night! 5/5 stars shoutouts to lira and dharlyn
Awesome place with oversized games. Its like a playground for adults with a bar. The outside beer pong was EPIC! I went on a Monday night and there was no cover. They asked that we toss our beverages and there is a dress code. No wifebeaters or baggy/saggy clothes. It was clean and everyone seemed pretty helpful.
Staff is super friendly at check in. Janiya got us all checked in fast and friendly The Resort has been recently remodeled. Looks great. Pools is beautiful
The rooms are average. You can definitely tell they are outdated and worn. The paint on the door was peeling, bathroom ceiling was dirty, carpets in the hallways were dirty. Staff is very nice, especially escorting us from the front door to the elevator while the night club was going on. The night club itself was very chill. The games outside and inside are a great way to meet new people if that’s what you’re into. The pool is clean and wasn’t busy at all during our stay. The number given to request housekeeping didn’t seem to work, as nobody answered our calls or text messages. The signal for the TV didn’t work so we weren’t able to use it. Overall satisfied considering the very reasonable pricing and access to amenities.
Roller skate nights, trivia nights, a bar inside and one outside, games everywhere, bands outside and dj inside, rent a tiny home on a trailer to party in, awesome restaurant inside for the munchie attacks. This is one of my most favorite spots of Las Vegas to hang out, as a local that has seen this valley go from having nothing to do except bars and clubs to finally having an art and music scene, this place just ties everything together and connects everyone.
This place is now more of a bar than a casino - a really cool bar and lounge. The patio or court yard has seats that look like grass, there are physical games you can play. There is a pizza place to eat inside, places to sit and chill and of course a bar. I think this is the place where the workers for Zappos do to have run.But normal people are allowed to eat there to. But you are not allowed to park in the large parking structure - that is private parking for Zappos workers.Cool spot to chill without the noise of slot machines or gaming if you are down town going to see Fremont Street. I recommend this laid back, relaxed place, very artful.
Being slightly off of Fremont I didn’t know what to expect but it’s perfectly fine. Kreshendo made the check in process easy and I felt welcome right away. Only a few minute walk to Fremont which is where you’ll be spending your time anyways.
Really unique downtown spot! Not a gambler, and love an experience. Gold Spike is perfect for the adventurous. There’s a gnome garden! The Halloween decor was over the top. A really cool place for groups.. Mini carnival in the back (complete with a ZOLTAR!), cooooool outdoor area for roller skating, parties, giant Jenga, outdoor patio hangs. I’ve been coming to the Spike for over 20 years, and love the modern updates!!
Ive stayed here before a few years ago and it was way better then. This time was absolutely awful! We stayed for a weekend in December to go to a concert and NFR. When we checked in it was late and the person working the desk was pretty nice and helpful, but when we got to our room it was not great. The TV worked for a little bit but the next day it wasnt working at all and never worked again the other 2 days we were there even after we had them fix it. The bed had a blood stain on it so we had them bring us new sheets, we didnt want to change rooms at 4 a.m. and just wanted to sleep. They brought us 2 top sheets for the night and we made due. The next day we called down about the TV and asked for them to remake the bed correctly. Came back to our room hours later and neither was taken care of. Called down to complain and have them fix it. Came back after the concert and the bed was made but the TV still didnt work. We did go to check out late the night before normal check out and told the desk person about the issues and she said they would refund us $150 within a few days and that no one had left any notes about our complaints from the days before. Weeks later still no refund, called and was told it would be fixed. A couple weeks later still no refund, called and a woman basically yelled that she told me it would be there in a couple weeks but would check on it and hung up. Finally got a random invoice email that said they refunded me $40....emailed back and no response. Save yourself, this place sucks!
Dirty. If you like roaches crawling across your hand at the table you’re sitting at go here. Nasty bathrooms. Poor customer service. Drinks are watered down. Unprofessional environment all around. You’ll have a Better time at other places.
I am in Las Vegas several times a month and a bartender at Rick Pizza suggested instead of going to the strip try out Gols Spike. Once he said BIG GAMES & patio I had to experience. It was better than I had hoped for. We had the BEST bartender Will I. Am!! Best part drinks are not expensive!! The patio was awesome lots of fun areas to sit or have a photo shoot!! Great memories, great staff!
Lexi is amazing. The bar is great and has ton to do. We love Gold Spike and will continue to go there if Lexi is there!
With what they got to work with they are doing a wonderful job.Phil was the gentleman that assisted us made sure our stay was comfortableWould stay here again
I went there for happy hour on a Monday evening and was the only customer. Its not a big deal but a bit unusual in a Vegas resort. The happy hour deals are interesting.
Best place to relax and get out of the crowd of vegas in a quiet but fun atmosphere. Giant playground for adults, no kids allowed which was a relief because thats all there is in vagas anymore is screaming children and the dumb parents that brought them. Drinks, food, pool, giant beer pong, giant cornhole, giant jenga and giant chess and more!
Totally 5-stars for what it is. It is an adult-playground with really cool crash pads. Comparing apples to apples I give this 5 stars. Clean, super friendly staff, excellent downtown location, fun 24 hour bar, fun games and the outside playground is so cool. The pool is nice, too. I thought Gold Spike ended up being totally clutch.
I loved this place, thank you so much for letting me check in early without paying extra money. Very clean and safe place close to the Fremont area in Vegas, and don’t miss going to the cafe inside to get a great breakfast, and have free coffee or water or soda (the hotel offers the coupons). Thank you so much everyone working here 😊
They are renovating the hotel, so keep that in mind when you walk in. The courtyard is very young adult friendly. They have fire pits, giant jenga game, a big chess board, and twister. Of course you can drink and play pool inside. They also have a dance floor and skirball area. A safe place to party and ladies get free champagne on Thursdays.
Great place to hang out and play the games while getting a drink. Lots of variety and brings a bit of fun to the evening.
Well, Destiny welcomed me to Gold Spike and that was amazing, I had a bad experience with Philip second night he was doing his job though but his a great guy, l love Brandys vibes, fun to be with, Marley, thank you for the water from you to me thank you for providing me a charger for my laptop. Destiny is super-cool, she takes her time to attend to needs. Gold Spike should consider complimentary water, not just coffee and should also consider installing intercoms in the rooms, having to go all the way to the front desk each time you need something is pretty bad. I enjoyed my stay.
This is a wonderful hotel with great staff. Philip helped us out, he was very professional and kind. Great customer service and such a cool place to hang out.
First time there. The girl bartender was a little impatient with the group, but it got better when the bartender got another bartender to help her. Would definitely come back.
The best part of the Spike is that if you stay at the hotel you walk into the spike like a VIP. This place is open later that most clubs in the area. The amount of staff they have there is amazing to see because you know that with a force like that there will be no funny stuff going on there. The Bar and the bartenders were a bit overwhelmed with the amount of people there but I never waited more than 5 minutes for a drink. The Spike also has a real cool spot outside where you can hangout and keep the party going on. But the Amazing part is the DJ stops at 4am and the bar continues to be open. THE BAR IS 24HRS!!!!!!!!
Great space to be that’s so close to Fremont. I love being able to go from my hotel right into the party since this has a bar and an adult playground. Destiny was so great at adhering to our needs during our stay. Highly recommend for great customer service support.EDIT: If you want late check out, they might ask you to leave a good review and mention someone’s name. So 10/10 for that honestly. Our checkout was originally for 11am, but we were able to get it moved to 1pm which was a GOD send because Vegas.. IKYKY. The bar + activities that this hotel offers are nice and fun. Also as annoying as it was within the moment I really appreciated how strict security was in order to get into the hotel once the bar actually does open up. Only folks who are in your room are allowed in with you or they must pay the cover fee. So be aware of this when coming in with a friend who isn’t apart of that hotel. However a complaint of mine would be that their elevators break down far too often and if you’re on the higher floors, that walk is no joke. I guess that comes with getting a cheaper hotel on Fremont. Speaking of cheap, the rooms are nothing crazy by any means and the halls had a funky smell throughout it. If you want something connected to fun activities and a bit off the strip this could be the place for you. But I wouldn’t grab a room here again.
Ive had the poolside rooms(very nice in the summer!) and a tower room. The tower is very nice because theres security and your key works the elevator.Theres also a dance floor and $4 drink specials! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Stopped in and had some drinks and played pool. Outside was really neat and there was a music show but not sure who. The place was a lot of fun while we were there. Door guys were really firm but fair. I enjoyed their attention to detail made me feel safer inside. The bar staff was so friendly and I had a great time overall!
I like the lady at from desk. Destiny :)she is very sweet and kind. She helps us a lot. And gave us a wonderful experience.
They have remodeled the gold spike into a modern retro style motel I like it. Its an adults only motel and was surprised how quiet and clean it was. They have a nice set up downstairs also. I recommend it to the 25 to 50 age bracket youll enjoy .
NOT RECOMMEND !be careful they charge you twice and cant explain why ... so if you have the same problem immediately contact your credit card bank.First impression with service looks nice, but when we open our room doors you can see in a photos what we found... dirty and broken...Staff 3/5Service 1/5Price ( Double charge) 0/5Room 1/5Place 3/5
If i could leave a zero i would they’re HOMOPHOBIC and are so weird when it comes to the smallest thing in the restroom. The stupid lady who DIDNT LET US KNOW THE RULES GOT US INTROUBLE bc my gfs went in the same stall even tho they immediately got in separate stalls once she said they couldn’t be in the same stall and they had us ESCORTED OUT of the restroom and again they didn’t give us a warning and called security on us JUST bc we were tryna move the line faster and had us escorted OUT of the place they do not support the gays disappointing and screw that discriminatory sour old lady they had in the bathroom

We had an event here. Service was good and well planned. We had open bar, bartenders were nice and not pushy for tips. Overall great experience. Our event was outside in the back. The inside was pretty empty on a Thursday night.
Gold Spike is awesome cant wait for another competition, make sure you check out the hidden Gnome show its so fun and only gets crazier the more you watch
My husband and I have stayed here before we always enjoy our stay but this time was really really great the staff was wonderful Dave n ,lira and Dara was awesome 👍
This place never disappoints. They have so much games it’s super fun. The security is great, they take care of you. There’s more than one bar so there’s never a long wait. Two dance floors one inside and one outside. I love coming here.
Wish I could give more stars... the potential is there. The pool and the location is the strongest parts of this Hotel. Located right in the middle of Freemont St, walking distance to everything. Pool is nice, clean, it has swings and beds and big comfy water pillows you can float on and its opened from 6am to 9pm. The room is spacious but very simple, not GREAT but decent. No fridge, no full body mirror, and the light was flickering. Other than the front desk, everyone is nice there. They were having problems with the WiFi.. I was staying there for 6 nights and told them in the very beginning I needed WiFi to work everyday, hence why we pay the resort fee... every day front desk would tell me they were about to fix and never did. I had to go elsewhere everyday to use wifi. Extremely inconvenient. At check out I wanted to make sure they waved the resort fee as I was promised when the WiFi issue came up... but front desk only waved 2 days of resort fee, however I did not have wifi and had to go elsewhere everyday for SIX DAYS not TWO. Front desk is deff not helpful at all and there is never a manager to be found. Weight the pros and cons and think about your priorities when staying at this place... its a shame, if I had at least someone contact me regarding the wifi issue i would have been ok.. but nothing.
Gold spike has always been a good social spot. Depending on the day of the week you can expect dead nights. Even on a weekend. Security is good, they have outdoor activities and cheap hookah. Music is a lot of Bay Area hyphy music in which I love but might be different for others. Overall cool place to get into a nightclub for cheap without having to pay $40 a shot.
First stop we had when we arrived at Fremont. It was very dark, dingy and not many people there. We had to run to the bathroom first and didnt stop at the bar to provide our IDs so we were refused service. The is could have been provided when we sat at the bar. When we tried to explain to the supervisor he said my friend was slurring her words... English isnt her first language and we had only arrived. Would I recommend? No.
Went for a Christmas party. Nice place with music and a couple of bars. There is a cool outdoor area where you can play bigger than normal size games like beer pong,Jenga, chess, and cornhole. Its a nice place to hangout.
This is a catch-all night time place. Youre gonna see people of ALL ages and they stick with the dance hits. Big plus is the outdoor space which allows you to go in and out with ease (plus, they have games outside). Minuses: door staff is rude and they have intense dress code requirements (no sagging pants, etc.). Overall, its a good place to go if you have a party of people with a wide age difference, but otherwise it would probably be better to go somewhere else.
So I was downtown on the last first Friday of the year and decided to stop by the gold spike to finsh enjoying my night i was told I couldnt get in because I had on sweatpants ok no problem I went and read the dress code policy it says NO sweatpants No jeans with Excessive holes or cuts No massive jewelry No Underwear showings doesnt state men or woman but you would think both genders on the Underwear right and all the other non Attire clothes dont let in as in jerseys flip flops etc so I went to observe by the front door and to my surprise the guards at the door was letting all the people in who was breaking the dress code policy so I ask to speak to a manager he told me theres no one in the establishment like that cause hes been walking around all night and keep making up excuses When I was telling him I purposely was standing here. Just to see and then he walked away so very horrible they dont follow the rules and do what they want obviously or decide on who theyre gonna let in depending on the night I guess very disgusting.
Great hangout spot. Cool events
Decent place ...had a good time,. Everyone was fantastic, till we met Steve....(at least that is the name he gave us.)....Steve should remember that customers pay his salary and that he doesnt need to be rude (I hope he was just having a bad day) ....he was less than Friendly...I wish you the best Steve...but we will really evaluate our return because of you.
Went on a Thursday and it wasnt very busy. But the music was good, drink specials were awesome. I really liked the outdoor space. Highly recommend.
This is such a cool, fun little place! It’s like a playground for adults with cool arcade games, a big game of chess, a huge lite bright, and a nice bar selection! I definitely recommend coming here if you’re in the area!
Были небольшие качели на ресепшине, т.к. хотели протулить нам не тот номер, что я бронировал на букинге. Быстро исправились. Вайфай стремный, честно. За бассейн ставлю лайк) хороший отель крч(Translated by Google)There was a small swing at the reception desk, because... they wanted to give us the wrong room that I booked on booking. They fixed it quickly. Wifi is terrible, honestly. I give a like for the pool) good hotel Krch
Uset too love this place. Idk if its new management but this was the best come sports or formal club now its no Timberlands No sweat suits even in the winter. Dont come you have Timberlands and Polo Suits.... I seen a man walk in wearing Basketball Shorts and Sandles. Yes gym shorts and sandles... Screw this place until different management.
MIKE IS THE MAN HE GAVE US A RIDE OVER TO FLAMINGO WHEN HE TOOK a Smoke break in his car
Within walking distance of Freemont Street, no cover charge, and lots of fun games. The back patio had a great cover band playing with games to play while you listened or dancing! Inside we played pool and a giant cornhole set. For a Thursday night it was very chill, not a ton of people around 10pm.
In all fairness, it was very late on a Sunday/Monday morning. Was supposed to be a after party but turned out to be sleepy hollow. The doorman was doing his job 100% cant blame him, probably ready to go home...
10 years ago gold spike would be packed. Body to body in its large main room. It’s Friday night EDC weekend and it’s empty. It’s a really big place with a lot of fun stuff to do if you come with a group. Arcade games, four square and giant chess out back. Really cool spot. They show NBA if you’re looking for a place to watch the 2023 playoffs. With sound.
If I can give a zero star I would! This is really BAD experience for us at OASIS REAL WORLD AT GOLD SPIKE. I checked in exactly 3 PM and the front desk didnt say anything about any policy. she gave me a piece of paper to put down my guest list which I did for more than 10 people and I did texted them also ( front desk didnt say anything about guest list policy ) until when my friends got there the security stopped us to get inside because it was not accurate in their system, and Im the one who having a hard time for there miskates! Ive been in the lobby for almost 2 hours and treated me poorly service and they were saying we have too many people already in the room.I did email them that Im having more than 10 people guest. If I knew that there was a limit for guests Im not going there because its not worth it at all!! Its too complicated to stay here. Ill pay more than $1,700 for having Anxiety and Depression handling the situation that they gave to us. Instead of having a good experience, especially celebrating my husbands birthday. And they came to us (upstairs) without any information just to kick out one of my guests because of putting a bad review about them. They ask him he can stay if hes going to delete it right away. Like what??? This is not a really good treatment aas a hospitality. No explanation at all they just call him and drag him out!Plus! When I got in the room looks like the restroom its not clean at all there was a towel all over the floor and there was a trashcan full of garbage from the last guests who checked in.Im asking for a refund now for all the worst that we experience in this place.
Love the vibe here lost of great music and the games are awesome
Great spot to come 24/7 for some drinks, fun, and space to hang out with your friends.
Went with a group of friends who were in town for SEMA and had an amazing time on a slow Wednesday night. The drinks were affordable and the staff was super nice - especially the bartender that helped us out.The outdoor vibe was so fun. We had an amazing time with the giant chess and giant beer pong! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a low-key but still fun night.
Gold spike was awesome! Dara was awesome in helping us get checked in. very informative!
Rude staff,They scan your ID, and take a photo of you!And if you ask for their privacy policy they will disrespect you!
I always wanted to check out the goldspike. I attended with another person and was very respectful with staff, while outside at the bar ordering another pitcher of beer , Karen noticed a wacky cigarette in my hand and got on the radio for security. Security comes, and I explain the situation and tell them I wont smoke it and put it away. During this conversation, a supervisor for security comes over, and I am very respectful. Things go left when he begins to chest bump me ,at his small size, so I bumped back with my much larger frame and was immediately grabbed by the security team. By now, its 10 or more guards there. I was escorted out the side gates. After doing so, I spit on every security officer in range. I am not a tourist or some bum from out of town, I am a local born and raised and have worked security over 17 years ,you dont get to touch me without reason you dont get physical because of ego damage the point of security is de escalation and that supervisor has short man syndrome and at some point is going to go bad for him.
Never again. The fact that I cant have a guest in my room is insane. Security really stopped my at the door like the police, asked for my ID to get in, and embarrassed me like I dont belong there. I should be able to just show my room key, or give you them my name. I just went swimming, so I did not bring my ID with me. I had to wait outside for someone to escort me to my room and get my ID, to come back down to show the security guard, just to go back up, and leave my friend outside waiting the whole 40 minutes that took because the 1 working elevator tho have is extremely slow. What the heck kind of operation is this? All this extra stuff just to stay in a mediocre thot-tel room. Cant wait till somebody tears this place down and builds something better.
So many more great options within walking distance. This place went down hill fast in the last 10 years. Garbage staff, terrible rooms and lame gaming. Better to sleep in your car than get a room here LOL
I must say Ive had an incredible experience at Gold Spike. Brandy and Crescendo, who helped me out, was very efficient and very helpful. I really appreciate the quality customer service at Gold Spike offered to me during my vacation. I will make sure to spend my next vacation at this awesome hotel/resort.
Definitely a fun atmosphere. There was also a second party outside. Space to dance and sit if youre not into dancing. Will definitely go back the next time I visit!
Philip at the front desk was very helpful with getting us the room we wanted and checked in , in a flash. I love this place. Its just unique in many ways from all the rest. I stay here often over the Years and I love it!
Yesterday my friend and I went to Goldspike for snacks drinks and games in the afternoon around 5pm. The Bar tender Lexi tells us the kitchens closed then gives an order to another dude. Managements response is that their kitchen is closed on Tuesdays, which isn’t posted online or in person. She takes someone else’s order while we aren’t at the bar and tries to hide it. The people in the back were nice letting us borrow their charger thank you. Unfortunately it didn’t work and I needed to charge my phone for Uber. The bar tender and security could have assisted by scanning their phone with charger because I had $6 cash. I left hungry, drunk and frustrated walking toEl Cortez just to charge my phone to go home. Management said my request was unreasonable and that’s disappointing. As a 21 year old woman my safety was my biggest priority and your response reflects your concern. This was one of my favorite places to take my friends to when they visit but after the response I received I’m not impressed and will no longer be returning nor recommending.
Absolutely loved the vibe in this place, the indoor bar area was absolutely packed, more of the traditional bar like music. However, once you go out back they have an outdoor club like area with a DJ planning, separate bar, with lots of outdoor seating, some games like beer pong, giant chess boards, etc. Absolutely awesome place to go on a Friday/Saturday night. We were here on a First Friday (first Friday of every month) and it was super busy, line was very long with a wait to get in and there is a cover to get in, but totally worth it!
I wasn’t having the best of nights until I ran into the best bartenders that I’ve ever had in my life. Kevin and Mitty really turned my night around and are hands down the BEST bartenders I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with!! I would recommend this bar to anyone solely off of my experience with these two alone, a fantastic bar and a must visit while in Vegas!!
We didn’t eat there but we stayed there and played/had drinks - everyone was very friendly and accommodating and made our stay great!
Always a good time here, good bar bites, plenty of outside games for large groups and both inside and outside areas to meet. Sucker for mozzarella sticks every time.
WARNING THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE TO STAY AT IF YOUR NATIVE AMERICAN OR IF YOUR PART OF THE MILITARY YOU HAVE A CHANCE OF BEING TREATED POORLY . I WOULD ADVISE PEOPLE NOT TO STAY HERE.I flew into Las Vegas on March 26th from Washington D.C but before I came to Vegas my dad and I booked a room for me here at the Oasis Gold Spike for March 26 threw March 29 when my flight landed I went straight to the Oasis Gold Spike so i could check in. When I checked in I used my Pauite Shoshone tribal ID card and everything was ok and went smooth on that part there were a few problems though 1 problem was that when we booked the room we werent told that you had to pay a $50 dollar deposit and the resort fee when you got there we just booked and paid with the card online so it was all taken care, might I add that there was also a young gentleman sitting to the left of me, he wasnt just any young man here he was a young man serving in one of the military branches he was having the same problem I was with the whole pay the $50 dollar deposit fee this young man I could tell was really stressed over this, not to mention they should of took care of this young man alot better then they did I mean for all hes done in serving this country just saying I give these guys a -10 on how they handled that young man just from over hearing the whole thing well taken well over an hour just to get in the room. Ok next problem is just this I checked on March 29 and ended up staying a few nights with someone I knew then went back to the Oasis Gold Spike a few days later to see about getting a room again to be closer to the strip the last few days I was here walked in same group of employees working when I checked in on March, 26th so my dad whos all the way in Maryland and who was putting it on his credit card like he did the 1st time had all sorts of problems trying to even pay for the room like he did last time they told us to go book it online on their website and gave me their busines card and to use code off save 20 so my dad went online booked the room and all that like we were told to do, I get back up there to give them the confirmation # and the lady tells me thats theres nothing there under that # and that its wrong, me and my dad and up figuring all that out on to the next problem I go back in there to give them the number again well still on the phone with my dad I give them the number and then I give them this same ID card I gave them the first time I checked in on March, 26th my Pauite Shoshone tribal ID card (keep in mind this Tribal ID card is set up just like a state ID is as well name, address, issue date, expiration date, and date of birth and my photo on it) they told me they couldnt accept it and refused service to me but this wasnt a problem when I checked in March 26 with this same native American ID and it is a federal recognize tribe as well and this same ID I used to get threw TSA (Transportation Security Administration) checkpoint at the airport accepted it we all know that its hard to get threw check point with ID if its not a good ID they wont let you threw but I was able to use it to get on the plane and to check in the Oasis Gold Spike the 1st time but not the 2nd time. The lady was not exactly nice about it when she was refusing my ID. Must be a problem in this world with white man hating on native Americans still. Nothing but problems.
Great atmosphere with games! And drinks!
So...our room was booked 2.5-3 weeks ahead of our trip. At no point of time, upon booking or deposit was it stated about the $100 refundable deposit or the $20 + tax per night amenities, there wetlrent any! 3 hours before our flight we received a text disclosing this info to us. At check in...we were told that we may need ear plugs because a private party was going on from 10m-4am. What we found out was that this was not a private party but a club. So not that it was a huge deal...but just be upfront to your customers in the beginning so they can also plan accordingly. Lastly, as guests of hotel we could access the club. Fun...BUT, we would have to leave club from elevators and walk outside club to make entrance thru the club side front door. It was very inconvenient. Front office reservation check in girl was rude and uninformative. She was no help with info for the area at all.
The gold spike is a cool retro experience.Rooms are a modern step back in time. The courtyard offers adult games, like giant jenga, giant corn hole and lots more.Alot of fun everytime
I went there last Sunday, it was kinda empty and I loved it. The food there was great: I had chicken fingers and french fries.I also loved the outdoor courtyard with games, very relaxing.
Security and administration in this bar/hotel denied access with no reason even if we had a room booked. We told security about how rude they were and they laughed and said they’re used to this.
Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Brandy helped me many times when I lost my keys and had questions about my stay. I had a great time
Try this place is youre visiting or a local. This is probably one of the best places for an evening out on the weekends. Fun games, great atmosphere, and strong drinks. Check back for their weekly events and be sure to try the food!
I paid the extra $10 for the poolside room and at check-in I was placed on the third floor so it wasnt poolside at all. Then I was informed that the elevator was out of order and with a steel rod where my shin bone should be it made it extremely painful on my knees when going up and down all the stairs.I was also informed that it was a deposit of $50 per night, NOT $50 for the deposit and was also informed that the resort fee was $20 a night NOT $20. As a result it ended up costing me an additional $140 which I was not expecting to pay.Once in the room there was only one nightstand and only one chair and no table, as a result me and my partner kind of felt uncomfortable in this very empty, small and very cheaply put together room. There wasnt even a real closet!
The most fun time I had in Vegas. I love going out, but Im not a club person. The outdoor part of the venue was perfect. Lots of dancing, but also lots of games and places to sit and enjoy the night. Easy to get drinks from the bar and everything is reasonably priced.
Been here a few times with family and friends. Its a real chill and fun spot to play some ping ping, giant beer pong, darts, cornhole, pool, etc. Bar staff is always friendly and they have some great cold beers on warm nights. Date night is always a hit here. Especially the digital dart board games.
Cool place with lotssssss of games. Just put your credit card down to get the parts but they don’t charge. Some bartenders outside are rude AF. Probably because they are young tending to young crowd. But overall a chill place if you can get in on a game during the busy hours
Denied entry as my $200 timberlands did not meet their footwear criteria. I suggest you go elsewhere that foregoes outdated fashion rhetoric and promotes updated clothing criteria and positive vibes
I always have a great time when I go to Gold Spike. They have great music, drinks, and there are games you can play (corn hole, life size beer pong, 4 square). If you are looking for a place to go off the strip and be causal then this is the place.
A great place for adults to hang out, socialize, and have fun. I met some cool people too. If dancing, partying, and playing games is your thing, then this place is for you. But might want to keep an eye on one of the bar tenders, he charged me $14 for a jack and coke and the rest of the bar tenders that I went to here only charged me $9. He did the same thing to my friend as well. But overall, really cool place with great vibes.
Manager knocked my drink out of my hand and kicked me out for being upset about it
My to go place, be nice to the bartenders or they will give you attitude and that might ruin your whole night. Girls are usually free if not packed, and there are two bathrooms the outside bathroom is usually the least busy.
Daniel the bartender is a wonderful asset to the Golden spike, great conversationalist. The overall Halloween decor makes us feel so at home along with the games and chill pool. Solid spot for groups or solo couple adventures :)
This place is awesome, my lady and I have been passed this more times than I can remember and never thought about going in it but always wondered why there was always a line outside to get into it. Well last night we decided to find out and oh my goodness this place is awesome, they have two bars inside with a big dancefloor, two more bars outside with games and setting and more. We cant wait to see what its like this Sunday night for the Halloween Costume Party.
Kids was to cold to swim since pool not heated. But I like the rooms nice and clean.Kinda quiet Sunday evening but I went into my room @ 10 pm so who knows what jumped off .Lots of games and beer to drink happy hour $4
The setup at the entrance feels a bit weird but once youre in, its a very cool setting with friendly staff. Great place for larger groups to hang out and have fun. Im looking forward to roller skating night!
I wish I could give this place a 0 star. They were so unprofessional the security allowed a person pick up our hotel key and didnt say anything to them and allowed them to use out hotel key.
I loved the giant yard games they have here! The atmosphere is fun and the staff was very friendly. Id definitely visit again next time Im out in the area! Great food too!
The staff: from check in, security at the club, bartenders, and housekeeping were extremely nice and helpful. The hotel is over a nightclub but I never had any problems coming or going. I was worried about the homeless because of stories and reviews I read. Not one issue. I went on to the strip a couple of times and that issue is everywhere. Fremont Street is a very short walk. I will be back here for sure.
Always a blast! I come here to play the giant games in the back area!
I am sure it is the in place for youngsters but as I am on the wrong side of 55 it was a bit to energetic for me. The rooms were clean and comfortable and I felt quite safe despite being alone, security staff were on the ball. I was located above the clubhouse so there was a little bit more noise but it didnt interfere with my sleep to much. The pool area was very nice and modern and adequate for the guests and staff were very friendly and helpful. Having said all that I would gladly stay here again.
THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!! The room is pretty basic, but the amenities are great. Free pool and video games in the lobby. There were people riding around on roller skates. The staff is super friendly. It can get rowdy so I strongly suggest you not bring kids.
My experience was honestly great. I went by after work for some drinks with friends for my birthday! We had a great time and the service was great it has a nice chill vibe early in the day. And we could keep to ourselves cuz of all the space. The restaurant inside called fiddlesticks is so delicious we ordered the nachos, some boozy shakes and cookies. Its a great spot!
We randomly stumbled into this spot when we were hanging out in the Fremont Street area of Vegas. We wanted to throw some darts and this place came to rescue. Its a fairly big spot with plenty of activities to do. The drinks are reasonable and happy hour prices are actually pretty good. The ambiance is on point for the kind of spot it is. Worth the time and money!
First time in Vegas and we ran across this hotel on one of the search engines and they had pretty fair reviews so we gave it a shot. We got to Vegas pretty early in the morning (7am) and knew check-in was not until 3pm so the front desk lady was nice enough to hold our bags. We roamed around for a bit but was extremely tired. We asked about early check in options and she was able to put us on an early check in list. Several hours went by and she came to get us at the pool area stating she can check us in (10am). We were relieved and thankful. The rooms were nice. Very retro chic decor. Overall the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel itself has alot of fun things to do for grown ups. Its like a playground outside and a living room with games that turn into a club scene at night. The only thing I would say is they dont pay attention to cleaning high traffic areas. The staff is very relaxed (lounging and smoking) when they could be cleaning. The carpet in the hotel is a bit outdated but still decent. Everyone was friendly and it was overall a great weekend stay for a great price. We will def stay again.
Its got the clubbing vibe on the dance floors, yet plenty of games and places to sit down for a bar vibe. Outdoor and indoor areas. Take your pick of relaxed, quieter, and more spacious areas, or join in on the eventful and more energetic spaces. Theres so much variety here that its hard not to find something you like and feel comfortable with. This stop is a must every time I go to Vegas!
Been going here since 2013, its definitely grown over the years. Still the best spot to go to play outdoor games downtown freemont.
Just went to the bar which is pretty awesome. Tons of toys to play with inside and out. There was a dj and a bunch of artists drawing on huge boards inside. There was also some rappers outside performing so the mix of entertainment was awesome. Definitely a fun place to come with friends. Super chill atmosphere
I had the best time at this hotel, if you want to enjoy Vegas and feel still come back to a hotel with a club then it’s a win win. Staff was nice, and check in was smooth and easy. Very convenient location to Fremont st and Restaurants. Arnesha was friendly and accommodating!
Spent New Years Eve here and had a blast! This club is very large, big bar, plenty of seating and nice dance floor! The backyard is my favorite part! They usual have a concert going in back there... great spot!
Cool common areas, pool tables and bar. The late night snack options are solid-- they have a rainbow colored grilled cheese called the unicorn- cool concept but tasted quite strange. (My friend loved his though. So to each their own!) Lastly, the rooms suffice but feel quite cheap. Not bad if youre on a budget though!
I really enjoyed my night here. There was a line to get in, but it went pretty fast. There was a ten dollar cover for guys and girls got in free per usual. They have a lot of space indoors and out. I preferred the out door scene witch had 4 square games and was not as crouded. Would recommend a visit if your down town.
Love this bar! So many fun games for us kids at heart. DJ was great and the place has a friendly vibe. Drinks are a bit pricey but not too bad. Highly recommended next time youre on Fremont street.
Absolutely loved and enjoyed the atmosphere. The live reggae performance and vibe outside set the tone. Being able to vibe in the outside club and inside made it great. Had side games and pool to enjoy a different grown lounge vibe that made the experience great. Highly recommend and will hopefully again.
First time coming here and the only thing I can say is that I cant wait to come back! Definitely had tons of fun playing beer pong with barrels and rubber balls. Adult Jenga was fun as well. The atmosphere was amazing! Just dont bring a jersey, youll have to pay extra to store it
$10 cover. Went with locals. The DJ was good. The band was talented however the crowd wanted the DJ to play. They have so many cool things there. 4 square, ping pong, board games, trashcan beer pong, and multiple bars. The drink sizes are tiny and expensive but they use name brand for their rail drinks. The crowd was very friendly.
Gold Spike is a giant indoor/outdoor playground on weekend nights. First Fridays are the busiest. This is more of a younger, casual, local hangout. I love that they have a water station. But really, they have everything. Giant beer pong, all sorts of outdoor games. Hookahs. A disco bus. Raised platforms. Tons of picnic benches. Place to dance outside. Place to dance inside. Tons of space period. Outdoor space is key for me because I get claustrophobic and here you can be outside under the open sky so even if there is a ton of people, theres still plenty of space. They have food too. Basically, if you can think it, they probably have it. The music is very danceable. And its not too loud to have a conversation. The bathroom is not ideal as you may have to wait a while in a narrow hallway where idiots who are not waiting for the bathroom also like to congregate for some unknown reason despite ample space elsewhere. Security is strict! No vapes or plain white t-shirts so plan accordingly. The line outside is super long but its mostly for guys. If you are a woman just step up to the much shorter security check line and should be able to walk right in. No cover for ladies.
Fun place to check out if your hanging out downtown. Super busy on the weekends. Cover charge after 10pm so get there before then and take advantage of the smaller crowd. Lots to do with all kinds of games to play. Dj and dance floor. Great for birthday parties or outings with big groups
Love this place! The backyard is so much fun, with live music and games theres never a dull moment. Inside you will find a living room that pops off at night with dj and dance floor! Nice bar and friendly staff. Awesome!
Went on a slow day but still fun. Small issue came up and received help from staff. Only issue I have is with some of the games may need maintenance like the giant jenga. Sand it down possibly paint it or protective coat. Dangerous if someone gets a splinter.
Only leaving one star because I can’t leave zero. Been here 12+ times as a local and never had issues. For some reason when I come in with my black male friend EVERYTHING we do is an issue, we’re getting followed by security and they are looking for a reason to harrass our group even though we weren’t doing anything wrong and were having fun and getting along and playing games with everyone as we always do. We were kicked out for literally no reason, and the security guards were acting extremely aggressive and trying to entice my friend to fight them when he was just trying to deescalate an already confusing situation. He was targeted because he was tall, black and in good shape. The weird security guard decided to go on a power trip because apparently a tall, black man existing in his presence bruised his ego. Will never be back and used to really like this club. New security guards are apparently racially profiling people based on how they look. Pathetic and disgusting- don’t waste your time or money here especially if you are a person of color!
A great place to chill with friends. I love the patio area. They usually have like music and lots of different lawn style games you can play for free. The atmosphere is nice with the string lights and faux grass chouchs and fire pits. The drinks are reasonable priced and not too weak.
Awesome place to chill and dance. Best music of any downtown club. And theres games in the back outside. Love that you dont have to dress fancy to get in
I probably wouldnt go back anytime soon. The hotel is old looking. Furniture it kinda trashed. Rooms smell old. Doesnt look anything like the picture. But on the plus side bar was nice. Downstairs and back yard was cool. Loved the game motif, an escape from casinos. Workers and bartenders were very nice. So I wouldnt stay at the hotel but I would go to the bar .
Cool spot to go to for the just about anyone 21+. Chill place to be but on weekends can still have a club feel. Weekends do have a cover fee that starts at 10 after 9pm for guys, and can go up to 25. Kinda the only downside is you might be waiting a couple hrs if you dont get in on time.
Great spot to hang out. Door security had a bit of an attitude but dodnt let him ruin my time there. Didnt have any food but it looked amazing
RIDICULOUS!!! First off let me tell you this was my DIRTY 30.. My husband gratefully booked me a table with bottle service weeks before my (BIG DAY) .. We arrive around 10:30PM 9/18 (table 10PM-3AM) when we arrive there was NOBODY there because of Life is Beautiful.. So the night manager (Mike I think) pulled us to the side and asked us to wait.. (For what, nobody was there) We had our IDS ready and confirmation email with order ID and anything else you could think of that comes with a CONFIRMATION.. So as we are showing him the IDS AND CONFIRMATION EMAIL he begins to talk about us needing a QR code.. We then tell him we dont have a QR code so he told us he has to go to the back office and see if he can find any other information.. (WTH , are you serious) Not to mention his body odor, tonality and overall greeting was disgusting. The security guards were amazing all of the men were very understanding and were apologetic for something they didnt do or had control over. Now at this point we are thinking he is judging us because we are African American.. (truly hate to mention) so finally after embarrassingly waiting on the side they let us in. Now we are waiting on the side not sure where our table is. Have to ask where do we go, then the lady host directed us and asked where we wanted to be seated. This was our first time booking VIP there so we were not sure where it would be POPPIN... So now we want HOOKAH!!! I loved the hookah lady so professional and sweet ( VIRGO GANG) we had hookah all night and we had to literally shake the bad NEGATIVE ENERGY we received from when we first arrived.... So here comes Mr. Night Manager Bad Energy ( Mike I think) told the nice hookah lady to come tell us she had to take the hookah because her manager ( Mike I think) said this was the oldest hookah out. ( WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN???) I just paid for a refill. We had about a FULL HOUR LEFT... We did not want to get our mood ruined AGAIN so we just left. Overall i can NOT get this day back. THIS GUY TRULY RUINED MY NIGHT... Back to DONT RECOMMEND GOING WHEN MIKE THE MANAGER VIBE KILLER is on the clock.. GREAT PLACE HORRIBLE NIGHT MANAGER....
Went last night after work in my work clothes and it was super chill. I love that its a mix of people dressed up and down -- No judgment!! Bar tenders hooked the shots up for my cousin who just turned 21 & let me tell you she was tipsy!! Overall Awesome time.
This place was awesome. Bartenders are super nice, security is good, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Extra kudos to Brandy who checked us in super quick!
Come say hi to Will on Football Sunday!!! Gold Spike is actually really fun more than just Friday and Saturday night. Come Sunday for football and youll have a great time. Drinks are cheap, the company is fun, dont wait, and come for football Sunday!!
Parking was very sparse and first 15 are free and then BAM $25. Well I was dropping off a delivery to a business. It was 20 min by the time I found a spot and walk it in. Security was absolutely amazing. I expressed my situation and inability to pay $25 for a delivery thru Instacart they sent so someone down and opened gate to let me out. RIGHT ON I did not expect that service. I appreciate you guys Immensly🫶🏻
A great venue although its decor lacks vibrancy and the line situation is a bit congested and sloppy. The vips slide directly in front of the regulars causing many to leave. This can be said to prevent overflow but stops it from feeling like a good local spot.
Fun place, adult version of the table games in the back area. Drink prices are decent but can get pretty pricey depends on the order. Security is on point, most of the time there is cover charge. People watching can get pretty entertaining.
First time in the tower great security clean rooms and $5 margaritas at happy hour!!
We came here for the adult playground. It was a lot of fun and we spent about 3 hours playing various games. The drinks arent too expensive and the bartender makes good drinks. Really fun place to hang out and have a laugh.
We went for afternoon drinks with family and friends on a Tuesday. The place was all to ourselves but I bet its poppin on the weekend! We had a great time playing mega cornhole and life sized Lite Brite.
I use to live in Vegas, and have been to Gold Spike a few times now. My friend and I spent our New Years here this year and had so much fun! Great crowd, fun games, and it brings a lot of different people together. Their music was great, good mix. The manager there for New Years was amazing. Well definitely be back!
As soon as I entered the security(kind gentleman) checked my ID. He was kind enough to let me wait on my ride this afternoon and I appreciate him very much. Ill return to hang out, seems like a place I wouldnt mind hanging out at! I think the owner or GM was there as well and he too was cool ! Thanks guys for ur hospitality see u soon.. order some Dirt Dogs at the Neonapolis and Ill deliver them to ya :) its good stuff..see ya soon
Decent place for locals to come out and party! There are tons of activities to do as well as a few bars. The activities include a back patio with a stage, life size jenga, and other carnival type games. Really chill place to come and out and socialize and have a great time!Cover is a little expensive sometimes on busy weekends especially for locals.
Amazing backyard party feel, I just love this place. Service was excellent at happy hour. Got quite busy and loud but since most of the place is outside, I was okay with it. Dance floor was being remodeled so werent able to hear what kind of music was played.
Cool spot with pretty good bar food and decently priced drinks. What sets this place apart is the available activities. There is an outside and inside portion complete with beer pong , ping pong , tether ball, shuffle board, arcade games and a bunch of other stuff to keep you entertained. Definitely recommend
Came here because my cousin works here. We were celebrating his birthday and this was one of the spots he wanted to chill at. We came on Saturday and Sunday and both nights were great.Saturday was more of a hip hop night. There was a big crowd but since theres an inside and outside patio, everything felt spacious. The drinks were really well made so I left feeling comfortable but not bad like you feel when you drink cheap liquor.Sunday night was latin night and they had El Neefa performing. I hadnt heard of him before but ill definitely be on the lookout for his music moving forward. His music was really great and his performance super lively.I could see myself visiting this spot whenever im in vegas. Its chill and theres plenty of security so I felt safe.
