The show had mix reviews among my friends. some liked it and some didn’t like it. i took my teenage daughters and we loved it! it was funny and we like the music. very good overall. i just wished our seat had better views. we sat on G1,2,3 on the left side of the theatre. i’d recommend any where in the middle.
This show has had a very long run in Las Vegas and its slowly starting to show.Blue Man Group was a decently fun show. There was a lot of lights and visuals throughout the whole show making it a high sensory experience. Some of silence during the performance can be somewhat odd. The ingenuity of using building materials to make music is very fun.Definitely needs a revamp, first time seeing the show but nothing really nothing pulling me back for another go around.
I bought a last minute single seat ticket in the 200 section, and prior to the show starting an usher led me to an empty seat in the very front row! I’ve never seen the Blue Man Group but went at the recommendation of my dad and it was such a fun filled spectacular show for all ages. I will recommend earplugs if you have sensitive ears, the drumming can get quite loud depending on where you’re sat! Photos show view of stage before and after
I saw the blueman group 19 years ago and still love it! It made it more enjoyable to spend this time with my kids. They loved how silly it can be and how I described it as just show up and see how cool it is. It never gets old and had us laughing the entire time. Our new friends are waiting for a tour to corpus after my kids told them how fun it was.
We visited the Blue Man Group show at the Luxor in Las Vegas with our kids, aged 8 and 10, thinking it would be a fun and suitable option for them. However, I wouldnt recommend this show. Its filled with what can only be described as extreme nonsense, which might not be everyones cup of tea. More importantly, the volume of the show was way too loud. Our kids spent most of the time covering their ears because it was just too much for them. Lastly, if youre careful about the kind of entertainment your children are exposed to, especially if youre wary of the content they see on platforms like ticktock, this might not be the best choice. In summary, while its kid-appropriate, it wasnt the enjoyable family outing we had hoped for.
This show was truly remarkable and captivating. It presented a diverse array of narratives that kept us engaged throughout. My partner and I traveled from Cleveland to attend, and we highly recommend this exceptional experience.☺️
We decided on Blue Man Group to take our teen to see and we are SO glad that we did! We were all laughing the entire time. We debated bringing our toddler but we were ultimately glad we left him with our family because it was *loud* so if you bring kids, ear protection is a great idea (they give out little plugs but we definitely would have used our toddlers ear protection). We got there maybe 20 minutes before the show and they bumped us up to the front row so that was a nice surprise. Popcorn + drinks are available for purchase. We were just out of the splash zone and just be warned if youre in the zone, its not water that you might get splashed with (but they give you ponchos!).The show lasted right around 90 minutes and its an absolute must!
The show was out of this world. A must see if youre in Vegas, this is the kinda show that is fun for all ages.I had no idea it was going to be this good. It was non stop fun from start to finish with an amazing end. Seriously, do not pass this up.
This show is always so awesome. What made it even better is that it was not a packed house and were able to sit closer to the front. Outside of that this show is always so energetic and full of life. You may be one of the members that get to go up on stage and be part of their segment. Small possibility of being hit with their wet items so be prepared. Otherwise just go ahead and watch the show.
Amazing show with solid drumming and music. The band upstairs was incredible in how the supported the 3 blue man downstairs. HIGHLY recommend if you are a musician, drummer or just a fan of music. Their sense of humor was excellent too. WORTH EVERY DOLLAR. Oh yea, get the drumsticks at the store after, they are worth it...good drumsticks.
The show was interesting! I recommend it to people who love music/instruments. Im amazed that they didnt talk or even laugh because I was cracking up. Anyways overall I gave 4 stars because it was a little loud and seats are tight but the performance was nice!
We saw the show on 4/29/2024. Excellent show. Very talented percussionists and musicians. It is loud (as one would expect). The ushers will provide ear plugs on request (suggest you request them). We had also purchased the vip/meet & greet tickets. Well worth the money! You get excellent seats. A quick tour backstage and meeting/photos with the blue men. We never felt rushed during that process. The guys talked with everyone and took many, many photos for you to enjoy.
Great for kids I was on the fence bc I have a restless 5 year old boy who only liked to play and be outside he never watches TV. This is your sign to TAKE THE KIDS EVEN LITTLE ONES! Show is directed at youth. Before we even left my son told me he LOVED the show. My only warning would be its very loud I have sensitive hearing but both my children didnt mind the noise level I thought my son might but he didnt. Some ear plugs or plain head phones are good way to lighten the noise but still hear it
Went to their 8pm show and had our seats upgraded to number 1 and 2 in hindsight bad call I had my worst anxiety posted on the main screen they put a camera in my mouth I have bad dental and it was just embarrassing. Heads up to anyone going they will mess with you in very strange unexpected ways like placing a camera in your mouth to simulate it going down your throat into your stomach. I just hope they wash that thing.
I have been wanting to see Blue Man Group for a very long time. They exceeded my expectations and I would recommend this show. It was very interactive with the audience. The music was great as well. Theyre hilarious. It will not disappoint. I couldve done a second show.
Weve been to this show twice now, and it was great that it was some what different each time. The lights, special effects, crowd engagement, audience participation was really neat to watch and be a part of. This is show is fun for all age groups, but probably isnt great if youre sensitive to motion, or claustrophobic. Great job Blue Man Group & Team, fun and memorable entertainment.
It takes a good walk to get to the theater inside Luxtor. Be prepared.Great show and not expensive. Music, light and sound effects, humor, interactions with audience are all great. I have seen some of this show before, but there are also some new elements. I brought my teen age son, and he enjoyed it too!
First 15-20 minutes were great. After that it is very slow and repetitive. Men drumming on pvc. Different background. Diff rhythm. But the same. I was really disappointed.
This show was awesome! I would recommend for all ages. This is a show for people that appreciate art/music. They played some beautiful instruments (Chapman stick & Zither) mind blowing!!!
Entertaining, visually stunning and a lot of fun. I have seen them previously and found many elements of the show familiar. I had hoped for the program to be differentiated over time. What they accomplished simply with PVC pipes is remarkable. The guy that catches, and holds, 20+ marshmallows in his mouth is really amazing!
My 10 year old loved it and I did not. If the whole show would have been drumming I would rate it 5 stars. The parts that didn’t have drumming were boring and not funny. I paid $49 per ticket plus additional fees. I do not recommend this show.
The show was really good but I was very uncomfortable I attended the show July 12 at 5pm I had ok seats during the beginning of the show they was moving guest around to fill the seats in they only moved Caucasian people closer me my seven year old son and husband was not acknowledged at all they moved three people in back of us a couple of families and never ask us it was a very uncomfortable situation I wanted to walk out but my son really wanted to see this show and I paid for my tickets before I even got to Vegas. The name that was seating people was very rude.I hope no one else has to experience this other than that I enjoyed the show.
The only GOOD THING ABOUT LUXOR.Absolutely wonderful entertaining show. Interactions with the audience was beyond compare. Modern day slap stick comedy at its finest. Loved the finale of the show with all the streamers. Their music can best be described as interstellar.AWESOME 5 STARS
We just went to see this show in early May 2024. It was BAD! I mean BAD! Pathetic, boring, juvenile, and just weird. It was so bad, we actually walked out before the end. Dont waste your money!!!How anyone could give this show 3-5 stars escapes me entirely. If you live in a single-wide and have a low double digit IQ you might like it I guess.
An amazing show. I was not prepared to enjoy it as much as I did. A funny, wholesome performance and the band absolutely killed it with the music. Also, they engage a lot with the audience if youre into that or like me who definitely needed a heads up about it. You must visit if you can, its one of the more affordable shows in Vegas. Thoroughly entertaining and very much worth it.
What a show!!! The first time I saw Blue Man Group, I was in my late teens and the show was phenomenal then. Ive seen them multiple times since and each-and-every time, they blow us away. This most recent time, we were even part of the show and we received upgraded seats. Highly recommended, especially for the price!
I loved it! Its silly and fun, feels like a party! I went in expecting it to be kinda lame but was very pleasantly surprised!Ignore the bad reviews, almost every single one just seems like grumpy stuffy people who cant have fun.
Fantastic show, amazing seats..HIGHLY recommend!! The entire show is alive, uplifting, and keeps your attention!! About 90 mins long, do not recommend sitting in first 3 rows, its possible you may get wet! 🤣 The do hand out clear poncho to guests, however. Also, do not arrive late, you may appear on the late cam, LOL!!
The show is family friendly and kind of a mix of music concert and some odd version of “Who’s Line Is It Anyway” with an alien version of the 3 Stooges, but not as funny. It had it’s moments, but overall pretty corny and a lot of time where these guys were just walking around staring. I didn’t quite know what the show was about. I guess I expected it to be more of a music and visual effects thing rather than the Vaudeville hijinks. Still entertaining enough, especially for the ABC Family / Hallmark Channel crowd. The theater is small, so you don’t need to splurge on the seats close to the stage like we did.
We felt like it was a one-time thing and entertaining. My husband and son liked it, but I thought it was weird and a lot of wasted time when they were walking around doing nothing. We enjoyed the show, but there are better shows in Vegas like Awaken or Beatles Love for the same price. Comedy, music, and lots of visuals. If you are sensitive to flashing and strobes, we dont recommend it. It is loud and lots of show smoke. Its fun and our 11-year-old enjoyed it but I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. We paid $70 a person, and that was too much for this. If there were better acts in the middle and less wasted time, maybe.
The show time options are great for people who dont want to be up and out super late or have multiple plans. You can only bring in food or drinks you purchase from their concession stand. Like most stands the food and drink prices are over priced. The straws were paler and basically disintegrated while drinking my frozen strawberry drink. The show itself was a disappointment. While there are options for audience interaction some of these skits were simply dumb. I dont want to see mashed up food being vomited up. I was really expecting more of the music show with pipes and again saddened by having a band. There is also a strict no recording policy and they dont say anything until they catch ypu. They do state no flash photography. The show was packed and the light show could easily cause a seizure. My husband enjoyed the overall show, where I needed a few more drinks to like it. I did tolerate the show and would only buy tickets from a discounted shop and not worth paying full price or even upgraded seating option.
I was gifted a free ticket from a family member. I did not enjoy myself and after about 30 min, I was bored and ready to go. There were many funny parts of the show but a lot of empty parts that had me ready to leave or take a nap. I felt more forced to laugh at times and glad I got to see the show but glad i didnt have to pay. I would not recommend this shoe to anyone.
OMG, what a fun and entertaining show!!! We had a great time and came away feeling wonderful. The show got the audience involved from the beginning and delighted throughout the show. The music was awesome, the gimmicks were very funny, and the audience participants were outstanding. I highly, highly recommend catching this show when I’m Las Vegas!!!
Good performance, totally worthy of watching. This show is not something abstract like ‘O’ or something fancy like ‘Mystere’. This show will entertain the audience for full 90 minutes. I would suggest to take all the family members including children.Another good thing about this show is they provided a lot of information in an entertaining way.
Had a blast checking out this show!It was such a cool experience, and were planning to go back with a larger party.
Family party of 7 ranging from 7 to 70years.We all loved it, the humour was infectious and the effects stunning.Highly recommend.
If you have never seen Blue Man Group, just go see it. The show is a bit short, but it is 100% worth it. The lights, performance, and audience participation is all fantastic.Ofcourse the only negative is the cost, but just check online for discounts. On that note, dont really worry about seat locations. Even the cheap seats in the very back have a great view if the stage (stadium is small), so if on a budget there is nothing to worry about if you get those seats.I would avoid paying extra for the Splash Zone seats as we sat there, but colored water never came close to us. Basically saying that it is not worth the extra cost to sit that close to the stage and next time we go, we will sit further back.
Its alot of them staring at each other and thinking its funny. My 7 year old grandson wanted to leave 40 min in. It did get better with some interactive stuff and its very loud. I can say been there done that and do not need to go again.
Dont go!! A waste of time and money. If you need a good nap then go but not if you want entertainment this show had none!! we can see a better show on Freemont lol.
Luxor as a venue is 2 stars (made me dizzy to be in there) and there’s a weird smell. The Luxor parking situation is kind of far from the building or separate from and clunky. The BMG 3 stars is interesting as they don’t talk but their facial expressions and their actions are surprising and humorous. I didn’t really like the “food” segments. Kind of gross and also for someone who has food allergies you end up wincing when there is food flying around. I liked the pipe music and the band that support the BMG. Kind of disappointed they still waste paper at the end of the show. That’s a lot of paper every day they perform and they’ve been performing for over a decade.
I give 2 stars because only a few parts of the show were entertained and the musicians in the back were really good. Besides of that, this show was boring, and a little gross. I would never spent my money on this again. I dont recommend it.
Awesome show! It’s not a musical, but there are a lot of instrumentals. It’s like a comedy infused with music. The effects are really stunning. I also like that the show is interactive. This is a great family friendly show. It is pretty loud definitely gives concert vibes and at times the lights were blinding. Overall the show is definitely worth watching!
I absolutely Love Blue Man Group its my 4th time going and my sons first! The smile on his face was priceless💙 ran out as show ended and got the painting for $60! Cant wait to go again their message is beautiful and they are hilarious and talented! Well done Blue Man Group it wouldnt be Vegas without you!!!!
Hard for me to imagine anyone above the age of 10 would enjoy the silent kids humor. Some of their acts include eating cereal and making crunching sounds 😐 throwing pieces of gum at each other, lots of lights and drums but it’s the same thing over and over. I fell asleep because I and many other were bored out of our minds. Please skip this and save your money.
Took advantage of the summer special. 2 for 1 tickets. Dont sit up front if you dont want to wear liquid. We sat in the first row of the second section, views were perfect. As others have said this is not a concert. Its a show - with comedy, audience interaction, technology and some snippets of music. The lights are bright and the sound is cranked. Overall we enjoyed it.
I saw BMG for the first time in so many years and was soooo disappointed. There was so much time wandering the audience and not doing anything. I just want to watch them play music, but sadly they barely did that. I would say this is one you shouldnt see anymore.
It was interactive and made it a bit funny pulled people from aduience .They did too much walking in the crowd. Music was weird and loud felt like i was in some phycodelic concert. I left after abt an hour, to boring. Waste of money. Gave 2 stars because i thought some parts where funny.
I’ve seen the show several times and just as good each time. The effects are simple yet cool, the humor is great, they do some tricky stuff like catching 30 large marshmallows in your mouth! They involve the audience in a fun way. Just don’t be late to your show.Recommend taking your family or friends. Be interactive and enjoy the show.
Absolutely fabulous show that will keep you laughing with their antics. It is loud, but they offer hearing protection, so ask them for it if you are concerned
An amazing show for all ages. We took our 8 and preteen 11 year old. They both enjoyed it a lot. We sat pretty close to the stage but our seats were off to the side. When the streamers came down they were projected towards the center so we didn’t get to take part. When they were looking for volunteers, again they picked from the center. My kids were bummed about missing the experience. Next time we’ll fork out the extra and get center seats to enjoy the full experience. Not sure how it was done but the audience was able to upload messages to the electronic billboard which was going before the show. So if you have a message for someone special, it might be good to look into how it’s done.
This is the worst show on the strip. Don’t waste your time, unless you’re an 10 year old immature boy who likes stupid acts. If I could have politely left the theatre in the first 20 minutes of the show I would have. I would have rather been doing anything else besides being stuck in that theatre. Please spend your money on absolutely anything else in Vegas instead of this show.
We really enjoyed this percussion driven mime comedic performance. Lots of lights and audience involvement. I would suggest a close seat since the entire act is done through facial expressions. Although, I would NOT recommend paying extra money for the splash zone because no one got wet.Food and beverage purchased at their concession stand is allowed. No recording. Show lasts approximately 90 mins.
This is a must-see show for the family. My kids were blown away. They loved the band, and laughed through the whole show. The Blue Men are hilarious and the whole production is just fab - the lights, music, humor, the PAPER.Also, the venue is actually quite small so I don’t think there any bad seats in the whole place.
Watching snippets of the show on the internet does not do the show justice. It was Awesome! The whole family loved it.
Disappointing to the extreme. I can understand why some younger kids would enjoy this but honestly I can’t understand how anyone else would. Perhaps 10 minutes of the show was entertaining, but even those parts weren’t clever. It must have been different when it started in 1991. The other 1 star reviews are legit. Waste of time and money unfortunately.
It was overall okay for me personally . If you’re light sensitive bring your glasses and it’s loud so you may need ear plugs if you hate loud noise. A lot of music and virtual entertainment and interaction with the crowd.
Had a blast with my kids. I took them here and we loved it! So fun and hilarious. They are still talking about it up until we got back to our home state. Memorable moment!
The Reason I am giving 5 stars because i love these blue Groups make art and yes it loud my Family loved it and it was so funny but you have someone in your family that likes art and silliness and Wedding Jokes so do not give 1 stars to Blue Man Group for no reason you should be Greatful to watch Blue Man Group for funning for little kids and adults and be Greatful for spending some your money for to watch Blue Man Group. Jesus Christ wants us be Greatful what we have for fun avengers around the world amen.
WASTE OF $290 USD. (two seats, 5th row from the front). if you have SMALL children they’ll enjoy it. however, as an adult it was the worst show i’ve seen. they had a member of the audience come up and cut/eat a twinkie for, i swear 30 of the 90 minute show. they also stuck cereal to their painted faces for a good 15 minutes. i was in actual shock i paid for this.the VERY end, and VERY beginning, there’s some paint on the drums. it was very audience-interactive. and at one point, they stuck a camera all the way down a performer’s throat. again, something a VERY small child would enjoy.
To say the show was AMAZING is an understatement! The show was EPIC!! Took my 7 and 10 year old kids to see it and they had such an amazing time!! Very interactive and perfect for kids!!! Just pure good, wholesome and funny entertainment! I have never wanted to see a show twice and I totally would see this one again!! Memories to last a lifetime ❤️ THANK YOU BLUE MAN CREW 12/23/23 LUXOR
AMAZING! High energy, crowd interaction. The blue men are quite the entertainers. The show is visually stunning and the drum sounds are unreal. Sat 3rd row from the front and tickets prices were under 75$ for 2 ppl. Purchased directly from Luxor website during promo time. Don’t miss this one... it will get you ready for the rest of the night!
Way too expensive for what it was. If you can get it for 20-30$ then its fine but we spend double that for tickets toward the back.. A bit lame and boring at times. The show had that 3 stooges vibe in term of humor which was entertaining especially for the kids but still way too expensive. The whole show was about 90 min long maybe and they spent 10 min just doing nothing but looking to choose someone in the audience. Dont recommend this.
This was my first time ever going to the blue man group show and I had alot of fun. There is alot going on and alot to pay attention to. Theres very high audience participation which was really cool to see. I enjoyed the music even if it was too loud for me at time. The lights in your face is very shocking at times but it only lasts a couple seconds. I wouldnt recommend this to anyone with audio-visual sensitivity.
Went and sawthe show on Tuesday this week. The show was great! I really enjoyed it!
The Blue Man Group was a lot of fun. They did a great job with keeping the crowd entertained and involved. My seat was near the edge of the 4th row. The seat placement was okay. I wish I was further back or closer to the middle. I could see 98% of everything that happened so it wasnt terrible. I did save $30. You can get discounts for staying in the hotel, being an M- card member or AAA member. The theater was fairly small and they were picking people from the back rows to participate. So I wouldnt say there were terrible seats just definitely better ones.
Please, PLEASE, please read ALL of the 1-3 star reviews!!!!Weve been wanting to see this show for SO long, and it was by far the WORST show weve ever seen here in Vegas! An absolute, COMPLETE waste of time and money! So slow, so stupid, so boring, and it drags on foreverrrrrrrr..... For absolutely no reason. We kept waiting for the Good Part, but that NEVER came. How people enjoyed this show, I have no clue.Terrible. Just terrible.Save your money. Anything would be better than this. I promise you!!!PS. The seats are uncomfortable as well, just sayin!
Saw the 5 pm show last night. Wow . Best time Ive had in ages.the music . The lights. Worked the audience into the show. Paper cannons at the end a blast.so glad I went. Just awesome...
One word... unBLUElievable!!! Best show Ive seen in Vegas by far. As a full-time Magician and Hypnotist, and Vegas performer myself, I have a pretty good idea of what makes for great entertainment, and this show hits the mark on every level. Great story lines in each of the vignettes, exceptional comedy without even speaking a word (and no BLUE material. No pun intended... okay, maybe a little pun intended), musicianship beyond belief (I am a former drum corps member so I know what that takes), creativity and detail all over the place, and highly interactive, engaging the audience throughout the entire show. Absolutely incrediBLUE!!! Id give it 10 stars if possible!!! If you can only see one show while in Vegas, this is it!!! You will not be disappointed. It BLUE my mind!!!
If you are planning a Vegas trip, definitely consider seeing the Blue Man Group! Awesome interactive, funny, colorful, bass thumping, happy making experience!!!! Worth every penny. CAUTION: Very loud (you can bring or request ear protection) and lots of strobe lights if you have a sensitivity to lights. But, I would see the show every day I was here if I could!!! Hope you get as much joy out of it as did I!
We have been waiting to watch this show for 25+ years ever since we learned about the BMG in the 1990s, and finally got the amazing opportunity just recently. This show is as chaotic, fun, entertaining, and engaging as expected - which is basically classic BMG. I wished the show had more music performances but overall a 10/10 and highly recommended.
Fantastic for all ages. Nice to see appropriate shows like this in Vegas. Highly recommend.
The worst show Ive ever seen in my life. Thought it was good because its well known.
The Blue Man Show in Las Vegas is a fantastic and entertaining experience! Its a perfect blend of humor and high energy, keeping the audience engaged and amused throughout. The show excels in audience interaction, making you feel a part of the performance. The venues intimate setting is a big plus, allowing clear visibility of the performers expressions, adding to the enjoyment. Moreover, the ticket pricing is reasonable, making it a great value for such an enjoyable and unique show
My first time taking a look at this show very happy only $198 for two tickets in pretty good seats they have loud music blue lights. They make you laugh a lot and get the audience involve also make sure dont be late because they make a scene and put you on the spot . They dont talk, but are very entertaining. We saw them again recently with even better prices from the tickets booth outside and they still put on a great show.
Honestly the best show in Vegas, my family absolutely loved this!!
I had the most incredible experience watching the Blue Man Group show in Las Vegas! From start to finish, it was an electrifying and unforgettable performance that left me in awe. If youre planning to attend, I highly recommend sitting in the center or front rows to fully immerse yourself in the magic. The Blue Man Groups unique blend of music, comedy, and multimedia effects was a feast for the senses. Their innovative use of technology and visual artistry created a mesmerizing spectacle that had the entire audience captivated. The energy and enthusiasm of the performers were infectious, and I found myself smiling and laughing throughout the entire show.By sitting in the center or front rows, I was able to fully appreciate the intricate details and nuances of the performance. I could see the expressions on the Blue Mens faces and their incredible drumming skills up close. It truly added an extra layer of excitement and intimacy to the show. The interaction between the Blue Men and the audience was another highlight of the experience. Whether it was catching marshmallows in their mouths or engaging in hilarious antics, they made sure everyone felt involved and entertained. The production value of the show was outstanding. The stage design, lighting effects, and the incorporation of multimedia elements seamlessly complemented the performances, creating a visually stunning and dynamic atmosphere. If youre looking for a show that guarantees a night of pure entertainment and wonder, the Blue Man Group is an absolute must-see. Sitting in the center or front rows will enhance your sensory experience and allow you to fully appreciate the artistry and talent of this phenomenal group. Prepare to be amazed!
Fun time! Members are talented, inventive, and funny. Was in the front row but not the splash zone :). If you were in that zone, a free poncho was given. I think any seat in this theater is decent. The performers interacted with everyone. If you dont like “concert” loud, bring protective earwear. The theater announced they offered something for free just before start time.We arrived upon the theater opening. Hearing and seeing the same thing on a short loop for 30 minutes was annoying though. With assigned seats, no need to be early—but don’t be late because you’ll be called out ha ha.
I was not exactly sure what to expect with this show, but it was so much fun! My husband and I enjoyed the comedy and the music. The show will make you laugh, make you cringe, and just delight the mind. Their percussion abilities are super impressive, and the backup band is phamoninal. Its about an hour and a half of just wholesome fun. This is a show that would be great for kids as well. They have hearing protection available for free that I highly recommend using as the show is extremely loud.
Outstanding show with unexpected audience participation. The blue men truly delivered-and all without verbal communication.
We had a great time! Show was interactive and very cleverly designed. All artists, including background band did amazing job. We laughed, we listened and watched hypnotised. 90mins went super quick.Seated in the 3rd row, near the middle had a perfect view. Show is loud, so probably would ask for noise reducing ear plugs if you’re there with children. Seated in the 3rd row, near the middle had a perfect view.Would recommend to a friend.
It was easy ticket access and to find the theater. The theater was not full so we got a free seat upgrade.Show was fun and exciting for all ages.
Show is more aimed for children that are between 6-14 of age. Got very boring, very quickly. Overrated
Seeing The Blue Man Group was a bucket list event for me. My wife and I made the trip to Vegas for my 50th birthday, and I bought front row tickets. This is one show that is actually kid friendly. Its interactive, so be prepared. They pass out ear plugs if need be because theyre loud, and ponchos if youre in the poncho-zone. (They use plenty of water and wet stuff.) DO NOT BE LATE. Theyll actually shame you. Lol. I paid about $275 for front row tickets, but the starting prices are reasonable. This is a wonderful, must-see show. It is a great experience for all ages.
Great show always worth it, have seen it 10 times , def never disappoints
The Blue Man Group was great, I was a little taken aback since I thought it was a support group, but let me tell you they blue me away. In actuality, the Blue Man Group is a wonderful show it is both interactive and introspective. The Blue Men are talented and leave the audience on their toes waiting for what is to come next. The show is friendly and fun for all ages and is an experience everyone should enjoy at least once in their life.
OMG this is the best show Ive ever seen! Im a baby boomer so Ive seen a lot of shows! LOL
Went to the show and it was AWESOME!!! Very entertaining and funny!!! The entire staff was incredibly friendly. We are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and got invited to meet them. They were so gracious and incredibly nice. And BIG shout out to Joe (manager), he made it all happen!!! Go see it, you wont be disappointed!!!
I did not like this show. It was very lackluster and juvenile. There weren’t any really cool skits and most skits felt like they went on for an eternity. I don’t enjoy watching people shove food into their mouths. Not for me, I absolutely wouldn’t go back. I think this is perfect for middle schoolers.
Mind blowing. We loved it, adults and kid had a blast.
I’d seen the blue man group in chicago prior to seeing them in Vegas. I’m positive it was the same show, but it was still very entertaining and audience engaging from start to finish. Definitely a one time thing, but definitely DO it at least once!
I have always wanted to see this show because the commercials and advertisements looked awesome! It was a total let down! There was not much drumming or paint splashing like advertised. The show was super slow and we mainly watched blue men staring at each other for over an hour. Most acts were quite boring, but a couple were decent. Overall, I have no idea how this show is still around. I do not recommend. I wish I looked at the reviews before I attended.
I would not recommend. For small children maybe... But for adults we found it very boring. What was supposed to be humor seemed awkward to me? All the other reviews about gumballs, shoving cereal in their faces, and 15 minutes eating twinkies is true. We ended up walking out. Maybe they are running out of show ideas after all these years.
A friend and I saw Blue Man Group in Las Vegas on 12/07. A very entertaining show, to say the least. They kept the audience engaged and never uttered a word. Absolutely fantastic!
Would give it a zero if I could. 3 men shoving cereal into there faces for like 30 minutes doing nothing but stare into the crowd was lack luster. I thought this was an interesting music based show. It was not. Another like 30 mins was spent eating twinkies. You could feel the forced laughs in the room as we were all anticipating it to eventually get better. But every skit was terrible. What a waste of money
Went and took the kids with us and they loved it so much. It was very interactive. As a local we don’t go to shows too often but this so fun and had lots of visuals and great sound and color. We got super far seats but if you can get closer seats the experience is so much better! They were funny and all around it was a very well put together show. I definitely recommend and from what I have seen it is different all the time so they don’t always do the same show repeatedly.
I had a great time at this show. It is very entertaining, I really enjoyed all the quirky scenes, and the music in between. Very random yet genius, I highly recommend.
I didnt want to go at first, but my boyfriend bought the tickets. I was mad and we actually got in a fight over it lol. I was pouting, and didnt want to be there and then let me tell you - when they turned off the lights and those drums started paying I was in absolute awe of these people! This was an amazing show and I had SO much fun that Im planning to go on one of my future visits.
Bored to death. It reminded me of bad slapsticks comedy. Left halfway through performance.
It was an awesome show and there is a lot interaction with the audience
Took our kids here and appreciate they have earlier showings so 1. We could get out of the worst of the heat and 2. It wasn’t super late or during meal time. Recommend any of the frozen drinks, non-alcoholic or alcohol versions they were good. The premade margarita was gross. Staff super friendly and helpful. We had someone with a wheelchair and while we had an issue locating the elevator to get up the theater once we were there the staff checked our wheel chair after we got to our seats and then brought it back after the show. Bathrooms are right outside theater but easy to find. Show was run of the mill Vegas show, not too underwhelming or overwhelming although it does get loud and they use strobe lights. It’s not a show I would repeat but I think it’s worth a watch.
Very loud and the strobe lights could cause a person to have a seizure. The music before show started was ear piercing. Entertainers were fabulous.
With this show being a staple in Vegas, I was expecting more. I know they tried to do different things by incorporating the audience, but some of it was lame and corny. The beginning was disgusting with one of the men almost regurgitating marshmallows out of his mouth. The best part was when they were making music rhythm and beats and the animations. If youre wanting just something to do to kill time, fine. But other than that, dont waste your money.
My group of 4 thought it was the worst thing we had ever seen. You really need to be high on something to think its funny or good. They spent 10 minutes or more eating twinkies, shoved cereal in their face and a lot more time walking through the crowd staring at people. We thought the band behind them playing music took away from what they were supposed to be doing which is playing music on pipes etc. This was on my bucket list as I had heard such great things. A TOTAL let down. We are sorry we wasted our time and money on this one.
The show has a lot of audience interaction. A lot of laughs too! Great show Blue Man!
Great show. Fantastic drumming. Lots of comedy and interaction with the audience. There is a lot of light strobing and the drums get very loud if you or your child has a sensitivity to that. It’s good for all ages. Maybe bring earplugs. I had to close my eyes a few times with the laser lights shining right at you. Overall a good show.
Show consists of music/drumming, lighting design, clever/funny videos and comedy bits. The bits go on for too long and the direction (and performance) is extremely weak in this area. The show should stick its strong points. The crowd participation element seemed forced and wasnt enjoyable. Perhaps this is a Las Vegas thing. What was I expecting, Waiting For Godot?
Had heard so much about the Blue Man group and booked it after seeing such wonderful reviews. However the show totally disappointed. There was no connection between the different acts and we literally got a biology class in one of the sections. It wasnt also as if they were creating music from plumbing pipes because the background music was being played by actual musicians.I had read reviews that said that people were spellbound and totally entertained for the entire show. However, we were a group of 7 including 2 teenagers and a child and we were looking at our watches after precisely 35 minutes wondering when would it finish.I had booked tickets for the 2 families and was feeling so guilty that we spent so much money and made our friends spend the money on such a show. Would have gladly used our hard earned money on another activity .Please think twice before booking the tickets. Am wondering in hind sight if all the positive reviews were paid reviews or maybe the BMG is like marmite- either people love it or they hate it. We definitely hated it and it was more of a mental trauma for our group. I wish we had not spent that money
The show was very entertaining me and my wife enjoyed..
Had a wonderful time. It was especially good for young people and those that enjoy a mix of humor and create music. The blue men and the band made themselves available for photos afterward. They took time with each guest and engaged in their antics which was greatly appreciated. For those who are bothered by loud noises, they offer free ear protection, however they have checked sound levels and they are not necessary for most patrons. The blue men also offer shows for those with special needs. These shows have a different light and sound scheme and are offered at a discounted rate.
Ive seen them in concert when they were on tour in 2008 in Detroit. That was fantastic. The show in Vegas is a joke. The lighting is definitely not for such a small auditorium.... You can get blind from it. Dont go if you have epilepsy... They cut lots of the cool stuff they did on tour... Ehhhh...
Ive always heard good things about the Blue Man Group, unfortunately I cant agree with my peers.... First the tickets, holy hell it was $165 for 2 seats and those were the cheapest they offer in the very small auditorium. It starts and theres super loud drums being played then florescent water poured on them under a blacklight, so it does look pretty neat. After that Im not sure what happened cause I fell asleep 😴 Im not trying to be rude, I absolutely respect these guys, I understand they work hard but I work hard too and Id much rather spend my cash doing something else 😕
We went to see the Blue Man Group (for the first time) at a Wednesday 5pm show. While waiting for the show to start, the vibe was good, but the droning background sound (music?) was a little tiring. The first 10 minutes of the show consisted of a reader board at the front welcoming (fictitious?) persons and guiding the audience in welcoming them, congratulating them, or saying other silly things to them. It was cute at first, but went on too long and felt like a waste of our time. The subsequent opening was high energy and fun watching the performers play games with paint and drums. Very clever. In preparation for a water balloon gig, someone came in late and the camera and focus went on following the perpetrator and had fun teasing them for our entertainment. But the water balloon setup was cleared away and I felt we missed out on an act (though maybe that was part of the plan). At one point the Blue Men walked around the audience inspecting (?) folks, presumably to choose someone to participate in one of their acts. Again, it went way too long, so that instead of being entertaining, it was just something we had to wait on. What they did with the participant they ended up choosing was cute, but also seemed a bit drawn out.Along the way there were some fun acts with drums, instruments made of tubing (and played as drums). That was intriguing and enjoyable. Returning back to paint and drums at/near the end was a fun throwback and reinforcement of how the show started. The prices for tickets seems pretty high to me. We got $69 tickets (including fees) in the last row, and we could see just fine. Realize I could have paid $16 more and only been two rows closer made me glad I purchased the tickets I did.Seemed probably best for a family as kids would especially enjoy some of their silliness.Overall, we enjoyed most of the acts (though drawn out) and came away feeling good, but there wasnt anything that made me think Wow, if I hadnt seen that, I really would have missed out!
Show was outstanding would 100% recommend for adults, and kids. Fun and interaining and nonstop
If youre entertained by 3 slow painted men, this shows for you. this was honestly grotesque and disturbing and ive lost faith in humanity for the google reviewers that rated this more than 3 stars. they shoved a camera down an audience members throat, brought another up on stage to spend 15-20 minutes cutting and eating a twinkie, and spent 15 minutes shoving their stupid blue faces with cereal, marshmallows and gumballs. there were VERY few enjoyable parts, but there were WAY too many flashing lights, the music is too loud and the humor was too forced. the humor only revolves around being stupid and completely clueless. i do NOT recommend watching this. 98 dollars COMPLETELY wasted.
So much fun, small theater, and lots of comedy thats good for all ages. We took the kids with us ages 14, 11 and 8. All of them enjoyed the show. I loved how interactive the blue man group was with the audience as well. Definitely worth going! The show was a little over an hour long. And kept us all entertained the whole time.
Amazing show! Wish there were more than 5 stars! Didnt know what to expect going in but they did a fantastic job! Would definitely see them again next time Im in Vegas! A must see!
Great performance. Very fun. Forgot to bring earplugs. Door guy was kind enough to bring me over some when he saw me plugging my ears during the louder parts. That was very kind. Recommend this for families with kids or teenagers up to age 14. Well worth the money.
I loved this show!!! It’s a little loud but I loved it! 👍👍👍💙💙💙
When I got the tickets I had a higher expectation of the show. The show did not really have a main theme. My kids were falling asleep. The price was high and the scenario was really simple. For that price almost $100 per person in a group of 7 people you can enjoy a better performance in another place.
Best show in TOWN! My husband and I are traveling for our wedding anniversary and ended our vacation with this show. We were super impressed with the atmosphere and coordination of the group and the band! Made the experience so great! Would definitely recommend this for anyone who loves music and great performances!
Had a blast! Family friendly, but I wouldnt bring toddlers. The show was a good balance of sensory stimulus and moments of humor going back and forth. Vibrant visuals, music was fun, and the crowd interactions were hilarious.
Good show! It was annoying that the staff went into the rows when people took out their phones! It blocked your view! I do understand that they dont like it if you take pics, but nevertheless this disturbs the show even more!
My husband wanted to watch this show for many years, but I wasnt sure about it. Finally, last night we watched the show. It was the most boring show Ive experienced. Kids school performances have been better to watch. There was some audience participation which was probably the highlight of the evening. A total waste of $90 each. Would not recommend, even if it was complimentary!
This was my first time visiting the Blue Man Group. Or, should I say it was their first time visiting me?This was a delightfully weird show with a lot of interaction, audience participation, high energy music performance, and startling visuals.I am a music person and I always like the music parts best. This did not disappoint.I sat in the splash zone with my partner, but we were never in too much danger of getting splattered. Except for this one time.Would I go again? To be honest, I dont know how different a return visit could be. But I recommend going at least once.
I’ve been to this show twice and it never disappoints! Each time was a little different too. Entertaining, funny, and high quality music, I highly recommend. Also reasonably priced! I’ll be back again.
2023 show is not worth seeing.I saw Blue Man Group in 2011 and it was amazing. A great storyline, high interaction, genuinely funny…I just them again in Vegas and was so unimpressed. It’s an uninspired show. The comedy is for 10 yr olds, the show has no coherency or story arc, the lighting is INTENSE but doesn’t match the intensity of the music… it’s a confusing experience. In Vegas, you expect the best. I think BMG USED to be something big. No anymore.
A wonderful show with such great talent. The lighting, the music, their way of communicating without saying a word is just mind blowing. The drums which they play, is simple a great way to exhibit how wonderful each object can be used to play great music. One would get a feeling of being part of a concert. Would definitely recommend to visit and this is extremely kids friendly
Fantastic family show. Very entertaining and great interaction with the audience. Lots of fun and laughs. Good value for the money. Would 100% recommend this show.
Awesome show!!!! Much smaller venue then seeing them in an arena like I did years ago. However the smaller space allowed them to add a lot of scenes where they interact with the crowd. The marshmallow throwing/mouth catching between the group was especially impressive. Lots more comedy type scenes which were hilarious. For those who are light sensitive, there are a lot of strobing lights at times. For anyone trying to find the show, its on the second floor of the main lobby.
Loved this show. It was awesome. Was moved from the back to the front to help fill seats. Spent $49 to sit in $100 seats.
First of all I believe the no phone rule made it even better. This was amazing for adults children of all ages humor varies to fit every personality and they’re super talented would come back to Vegas just to see the show again!!!
What an AMAZING SHOW! Always wanted to see this show and it did not let me down. Funny, entertaining, hilarious, crazily amusing that you could pee yourself laughing. The venue is so close to the stage also so everywhere is a good seat. Well done Blue Man Group and Luxor Hotels for hosting the event! Was ACE and a must see event if you are in Vegas!
My boys loved the show!!They were a little bored when they watched other shows. However, this time, they laughed and watched it excitedly all the time.
Absolutely loved the show! It was interactive and just all around fun. Loved the music, its kinda funny because we didnt realize it would also contain elements of comedy, the show went way above and beyond our expectations. We definitely recommend this show, youll have an amazing time!
This blue man Trainwreck was very dumb my 21 year old son and his girlfriend walked out it was so dumb. Not funny! No plot no story. Horrible music. Very dumb I couldnt leave cause my husband fell asleep! They owe me for my lost time. I wouldnt pay $7.95 and the $132 was just like a Nigerian call center con.I will never stay at the Luxor again cause they have very poor Shows and their Carrot Top was funny back in the 90sThat show is so 1990s just like their out dated hotel and casino.
