Had two lymphatic drainage massage sessions with Anna and it was amazing. I had neck lipo and a chin implant procedure just a little under a month ago but was still experiencing some swelling. After seeing the other reviews for Cinema Wellness, I decide to give them a try and am so glad I did. Just after the first session, I immediately noticed decreased swelling and more definition in my jawline. I am usually not one for massages and I was very nervous going into this massage out of fear of it hurting. But, there was no pain at all and Anna is very personable and made me feel at ease!

This is the second time I’ve come here and both times have been a 10/10 experience. I hold a ton of tension in my shoulders and jaw and Anna knew exactly what to do! Her combination of working out knots and lymphatic drainage massage was so nice and the relief I felt afterward was incredible. Highly recommend, I’ll certainly be back!

Wow. Incredibly healing. I came for Lymphatic massage and ended up adding deep tissue massage, a facial and some kind of wonder treatment for my hands (they look like new!). The treatments were all really great, but what really makes the difference is Annas deep knowledge and kindness. She is a really lovely person, I felt so looked after. I stumbled upon this place in desperate need of not only physical healing, but someone who really understood my issues. I have been to several healthcare professionals and Anna pretty much knew right away what was going on. I had my first lymphatic massage and it was unreal! She was so intuitive, kind, and specific with tailoring my session to my specific needs. I want to go back every week! Highly highly recommend Anna. For the record I never leave reviews, but this was a special experience. Oh yeah and the issue I was going for was pretty much gone the next day!

UPDATE:I went to get a massage today and it lived up to the experience my mom received! I recently had surgery and so Anna suggested the lymphatic massage and it really helped with my healing. She quickly identified areas that needed to be massaged out and I walked out able to stretch a lot better! I really felt like Anna catered to my needs and clearly does this for every client. I received my first massage with Anna from Cinema Wellness today. Every step of the way was customized to my needs. She assessed my posture and intuitively focused on the tension in my shoulders. She also discovered that my jaw was a source of tension for me and helped me to relax specific muscles in my face and neck. Anna periodically checked in with me regarding comfort, pressure, and temperature of hot stones. This is a very unique personalized service unlike many massages I have received elsewhere. Anna was cautious of safety and sanitation, with health screening, masks, and only one client allowed in the building at a time; however some parts of the service must be performed without a mask. At the end of my service Anna offered me water and a gift of hand cream. I cannot wait for my next massage with Anna at Cinema Wellness.

Anna is absolutely amazing. She goes beyond just giving you a massage, she speaks to you, examines your posture and really caters to where the knots and pains are coming from. Wow! An amazing experience. The massages and face mask were just what I needed after being indoors for so long. I feel much more relaxed and my posture has literally improved. I have been to Anna twice now for a massage and she is fantastic! She really assesses what areas of your body need the most attention and at the end you feel like a new born angel. Shes super friendly and uses oils/lotions from Spain (fancy!). Her space is very relaxing and there is smoothing music on in the background. I would highly recommend!!!! 5 stars! Also, its around a lot of nice restaurants and cafes. Go treat yourself after too!

Anna was amazing! She could tell my issue just based on looking at the way I held my body… she decided on very deep tissue work, she definitely moved some stuff. We took before and after pics of my posture and you can actually see the difference after just one session! I have had a lot of massages and I was impressed. If you have pain in your body I would highly recommend her.

Ana is amazing. The establishment is clean is safe. I came in with extreme pain. She did a professional assessment and could tell where I needed the most work. I left feeling so much better and I had more flexibility then what I had on arrival. It is hard to find a professional that can accomplish a deep tissue massage without furthering your injury and she not only did that but relieved my pain significantly. I cannot recommend Cinema Wellness enough! I began seeing Anna for lymphatic drainage massages following a surgery and owe much of my speedy recovery to her. When I first arrived, I was early on in my healing process and feeling physically vulnerable. I just had my first experience at Cinema and had to share! Anna was easy to communicate with via email, followed Covid safety protocols, and most importantly, her massage skills are amazing. Regarding safety - she kept her mask and gloves on at all times and spaced her appointments apart so I didn’t interact with any other clients.I had initially purchased a hot stone massage, but she took one look at me and offered to do a combo instead so she could go deeper on my knots. It turned out to be one of the best massages I’ve ever had. The space and experience may not be as “frilly” as some (her decor is simple, she sticks to products she needs to use, etc), but she does what she does so well that she doesn’t need all the extras. After well over a year without a massage, this was the best experience I could have asked for.

Had a great massage with Ana. She had me do some movements to assess problem areas when I walked in, and then do the same exercises when I left. My shoulders felt lighter. I even felt prettier! Lol. Got 2 groupon sessions for massage and facial mask for my boyfriend and myself. Booked a session for my boyfriend on his birthday. They were very accommodating even though it was last minute. Once he got home he was glowing! He kept on raving on how it was such a great massage and how Anas conversation was wonderful. He even got a small gift for the occasion. My session was fabulous! Ana began by checking my posture and then onto the massage. Her hands were magic, she really got deep in there and fixed me right on up. I was a bit sore the following days but it was a good sore, I really needed that. Facial mask was very relaxing and my skin looked great! Once she was done, she rechecked my posture and oh boy, could we tell a difference. I was standing much taller and no longer hunching forward or to one side. I appreciate that it’s just me and the therapist, Melissa is incredibly gifted and her expertise in body mechanics and facial skills are top drawer. She constantly asks if pressure is tolerable so you won’t suffer in silence if she goes too deep into soft tissue therapy. Excellent choice for chronic pain, or just to unwind. Very safe and secure, and products are great. Highly recommended.

Where to start. First let’s speak about Ana. I am usually not a talker during massage, facials or anything really... but it was great speaking and listening to her great tips and all her knowledge. She also knows where to stay more quiet. It’s a perfect mix.I started with a full body deep tissue massage.I didn’t ask for it, didn’t know what to expect, I wanted to let myself be guided. After just a minute touching me she knew what I needed. It was outstanding. She was often checking the pressure and being so open and transparent to what she was putting on me or doing to me.It was so good that I decide to continue with one hours of Facial, peeling and micro, she uses natural ingredients and explains it all. She’s very knowledgeable in every aspect of it and it was amazing. She even noticed my dry feet earlier and proposed an amazing feet mask. Well needed.It kept on going and all those amazing smells. It was amazing. And after finishing, she put a lip mask on my skin and some cream on my spot and hugged me goodbye...I’ll be back in about 10 days in LA and she’s a must! This spa boutique truly lives up to its name. I was scheduled for a facial but opted for a massage to alleviate a throbbing headache, the aftermath of hours on Zoom. Anna has the hands of an angel, no surprise that Cinema Wellness is nestled in Los Angeles. No sooner than she put one hand on my head and the other somewhere on my neck did the pain dissipate. She then proceeded to massage away what I believe to be years of accumulated stress. I walked out feeling like Hollywood royalty. I will definitely be back sooner than I’m due for another facial!

I have been coming to Cinema Wellness since I came to LA 3 years ago. I trust the owner who listens and works with me to come up with solutions to my skin issues. I always look forward to my visit and I know that she remembers what needs to be done and I can rely on her advice. For me, this place is essential both for treatments and to learn how to properly care for the skin. I wish that I had this kind of help 25 years ago when I was just starting out. I would advise anyone to try a few sessions. While I haven’t been to dozens of places, out of the ones I have tried, this is by far the best.

Anas services at Cinema wellness are simply one of the best treasures of silverlake and in Los Angeles for that matter. I go to her monthly sometimes twice per month(since I cant get enough) for facials, microdermabrasion and her stellar massages. I just feel incredible and rejuvenated after my appointments. My skin is glowing and it is just amazing! I cannot imagine life with going to her spa, she simply give the utmost attention to you and your skins needs and helps you figure out products to use depending on what your skin needs. I purchased a Groupon for Cinema Wellness on a birthday whim (#treatyoself) and I’m so glad I did. Although the Groupon was only listed for a Swedish massage treatment, Anna went above and beyond dipping into deep tissue and shiatsu after realizing how terrible my shoulders had gotten. I left with my head literally held high and my shoulders back. She was very sweet and attentive and made sure I was OK every step of the way. Definitely recommend!

This was my first facial and I am sooo impressed with the results! First of all, ANNA was sooo amazing. I was very nervous and she gave me a custom treatment for my skin specifically. I was a little red in the face for a few days, but my skin is VERY sensitive and I was expecting this. I love getting a deep tissue here - I feel great after and they really know how to work out all the kinks in my shoulders. I like a lot of pressure and I get it if I ask.The owner is lovely and is super communicative, which makes booking a time to come in simple. She actually remembers her clients and makes you feel very welcome. Ive had massages from a few of the other employees there and theyre all great, so I dont have any particular recommendations by name.The location is a little tough to find because the door is hard to see, but if you just remember that its in the purple building that makes it easier. I can usually find free parking in the parking lot behind the place (its a shared lot with the rest of the businesses that are in the purple building). If not, street parking is easy and its metered. I think its about a dollar for an hour.The ambiance inside is welcoming and calming. There is usually mild, relaxing, music in the background. I like it because it isnt super loud or distracting.The lighting is dim. The place is cozy with private rooms and its very charming. Most importantly for me, its very clean.During the massage itself, I feel like I can choose to be chatty or to just sit in the quiet and almost fall asleep depending on my mood! I dont like places where it feels awkward to talk or not talk, but I feel comfortable doing either here. The massage chairs themselves are amazingly plush and my head feels like its on a pillow when I lay face down. Everything is clean and disposable.Once youre done with your massage, there is a small waiting area with 2 lounge chairs for you to relax and drink water. The owner usually offers a piece of dark chocolate or sometimes even fruit.Overall, the entire experience is fantastic and I always look forward to coming to this business!

After doing some research online, I decided that Id try microdermabrasion to get rid of some lingering acne spots from my adolescence. Being the internet-savvy bargain hunter that I am, I went on Groupon. There I typed in Microdermabrasion and my zip code, and the first result that popped up was Cinema Wellness. I read some reviews, and they seemed positive, and without really thinking too much about it, I booked my appointment with Anna. And Im so glad that I did, because the entire experience was nothing like what I expected.First of all, Im not a guy who really pampers himself with nice things. My idea of treating myself usually entails buying a cupcake or a new cast iron skillet. When you hear the word microdermabrasion, it sounds like such a clinical term, and therefore I imagined Id be walking into some sterile office, reading an old copy of Time Magazine, before being guided into a claustrophobic room by a Swedish nurse, who would press me down against a cold recliner, crack her joints, and go to work on my face.Good news: Anna is definitely not the Swedish nurse I sometimes see in my nightmares. And Cinema Wellness is anything but sterile. Its this super zen and quiet environment where you can go and relax and escape from all the stresses of your life, kinda like a movie theater. The equipment Anna used for the procedure was medical grade and I felt at ease under her gentle care. And the results are pretty noticeable, even after one session! Totally recommend this place.

The myofacsia release was amazing. I felt so much better after my first session. The jowls in my face actually lifted. There is now more space between my head and shoulders and my chest is more open and upright. Overall I feel lighter.
