Got a table here a few months ago and service was exceptional! Have been traveling back to Atlanta for work more often and after experiencing other clubs.. none compare! Quality service, great presentations! Only spot comparable to Miami or Vegas!

Great place for a solid night out. Always my go to when I want to grab a couple drinks and hit the dance floor with my friends. VIP service is great as well, Inna, Hayley and Ashley always make us feel super at home with impeccable service. Bar scene is great as well, Seth always makes us the best drinks with little wait time. 10/10 one of my favorite staples in the city.

Hands down best place to go for some great cocktails and a good time. Whether you just want a great casual night with friends or celebrating a special occasion, this is definitely the place to go. The VIP tables are always a great time. The cocktail waitresses are super friendly and professional. Just make sure you book in advance if you go that route.

Tongue and groove was the best ! They have the best bartenders on the planet. If you ever go there ask for Seth if you want the best service. He not only makes the best drinks but he is super attentive. He made our experience worth every minute. There are no words to describe how amazing Seth is as well Tongue and Groove. Tongue and groove is the best night club/bar I’ve ever been to. I had excellent service from the bar tenders especially Seth. He is one of the best bartenders I have ever encountered in my life. He not only attended to all of our needs but he made sure our experience was phenomenal. I would recommend tongue and groove to anyone who is going to be in the Atlanta area and be sure to ask for Seth if you want the best service available. Hands down best Time we have ever had !!!! Ok place if you enjoy being packed in like sweaty sardines having no room to even stand upright, yet alone dance. and being shoved around all night. i’m a small girly 5’3 105lbs and countless grown men straight up shoved me and knocked me over trying to pass by me many times which sucked. way too crowded. my friend paid $40 cover and i paid $20, $5 parking and $25 for some mid jack and cokes. however the music was great on both sides, really enjoyed the edm remixes and classic reggaeton so i’ll give 3 stars. sucks this place had been on my go to list for years, i’ll give it another chance i guess but atl scene is trash now. or i’m just getting old, idk

This place kicked me out for no reason. I asked the receptionist, the bouncer, and the cop and they did not give me a reason and they harassed and forced me to leave the premises. I was so polite and asked them for the reasons so that I don’t repeat what happened but none of them gave me the reason. Please think twice before heading here. Havana is much better.

Tatiana has been my bartender the past couple of time I’ve visited T&G. She has been great, super quick service, while showing amazing hospitality. Also, a very nice venue.

I want to say how absolutely rude the 2 bouncers at the door were. I was waiting for my ride that was 2 min away and it was cold outside so I was just standing by the door before I was rudely interrupted by some man who had the audacity to put his hands on me in what he called an escort out. This man grabbed me so hard I still have bruises. Never going again don’t recommend try somewhere else and I’m filing a lawsuit.

Love this spot, allways have a great time. But lately the Djs in Perreologia are really bad. Cant really enjoy dancing with the Djs changing songs every 15 seconds like its impressive.

Water bottle is $7, no place to sit, security don’t allow u to sit on empty tables even if you are visiting with a companion, worst experience visiting them and wasted almost about $200 with them. Strongly recommend them not visiting them.

Went here to wait in the slowest line for over an hour. They let in an underage friend of mine, with the exception that the bouncer felt her up so she didn’t have to pay. Completely didn’t check her ID, and full on groped her. It was absolutely disgusting. I saw them let in various minors, including men. Tried complaining to two different women at the front just to be shut down and actually one of them fought back, trying to defend this guy which was absolutely insane. You’d think women would believe women, especially with a serious situation such as this one. I actually got accused of trying to get a refund- FOR $20😂. I was appalled at the behavior I witnessed by the employees and the fact they were arguing with us when we tried to report this. Was able to talk to management, and they said they would review the footage- we’ll see if this truly happens. I attached some pics of the bouncer below so WOMEN BEWARE!!!!

Great experience!!! The atmosphere, music, staff and service are all world class. I travel all the major cites and this club is second to none. I understand why they have been in business for almost 30 years!!!

I never visited before the renovations but I attended the opening night party and it was something beautiful inside! Theres a huge bar directly in the middle so youll never be without a drink. Plus, if youre lucky enough to be there on a party night, you might find a gymnast dancing around on top of it. And theres tons of photo-worthy moments.I was able to try some appetizers: cheese board, desserts, and veggie platter. All were delicious so I can assume ordering from the kitchen while sitting at one of the booths or at the bar will do you justice. The DJ is booth is elevated but a little below the second floor so you can see the DJ and guest from almost anywhere inside. I didnt have the pleasure of viewing from the second floor but on my next visit I plan to go up there!

$20 cover, $5 parking in garage, they only play edm remixes and it doesn’t even get busy until 1 am also all bars/clubs/lounges should have accessible water stations

Unless you’re not hurting for money, pregame HARD before you get here. $33 for two mid watered down vodka redbulls?? Insane. The music was alright though. I think I’d come back if there’s a special night going on or if I’m really, really drunk. Otherwise probably not.

We had a girls trip to Atlanta and found this place online. It was pretty empty so we decided to get a table, totally worth it for the price. Being just 4 girls at the tabel ofc some guys tried to approach us and sit with us without our consent. Luckily the security guy was so friendly and took care of us all night sending them away. He was constantly checking on us to see if we are ok and if someone is bothering us. We never asked him he or said anything to him for that and he just did it. I felt so safe and we had a lot of fun. 10/10 for that honestly this should be in all clubs for single girls that need help bc we know how it is. I am not talking about anyone talking to us I am talking about insistent drunk guys that made us feel uncomfortable. Thank you so much you guys made our night. T&G is a great place to dance, just a little pricey, but I always have a good time.

Where do I start... My husband and I got married on May 4th, 2019 and had a very non traditional wedding. We didnt have a venue and brought our wedding party to TNG knowing the music, service, and environment was going to be excellent and TNG did not disappoint. From the get go, Rae & Ulli were clear and open regarding cost for tables/bottles. Our friends and family had an excellent time and couldnt stop raving about the environment, lighting, clean bathrooms, and the staff. Outside of the fact that TNG is always a great time, we love this place because of the people that work there like Ulli, Seth, Ryan and the bottle girls who are always fashionable and cordial. Lets not forget the bar bussers who kept our area stocked, clean and were very patient. Thank you for making our night amazing... we love you guys!

This dance club is ok, not so extravagant to price their drinks $15+. Very little place to move. DJ can do much better, we are almost in 2024, not 1994.Their Valet folks can definitely get some training. Nobody needs tantrum from a valet guy. Show some respect fellas when you open your mouth. If you want to compete against the best out there.Saw the security guy in front of me let a girl in with no-ID only for extra -$40 cash.

The worsts experience ever. These people are crooks. Charged my party over 50% tax, lied about the cost and options of our bottle service as well.Also if you have an AMEX they demanded to record you with blinding lights stating your approval and to record you signing the check. I’ve been to much higher end places all over the world and have never experienced that. I felt profiled.I gave a VISA instead to skip how ridiculous that was, and attempted to get my AMEX back since they weren’t going to run it. That is when super rude, and aggressive blonde bottle girl brushed my hand away slammed the book shut, and ran off with BOTH of my cards. I had to get management involved to get my card back. It was an awful experience and unfortunately for them they just lost a group of 8 figure+ earners that will NEVER go back to their business. TRASH

I was assaulted by an unknown person on 01/27/2024 at around 1:30 AM. There was no provocation. I was ordering a drink when he approached me, punched me, and I fell to the floor. Bar security removed me and my partner and left the assailant in the club. Bar security would not answer questions about the incident and did not assist in calling police. Rather they told me to go home and tried to get me off the premises as soon as possible. I have filed a police report and will press charges against the assailant as I have sustained a head injury requiring an emergency room visit with CT scan.

The latin DJ staff sucked on 5/16/2024. They avoided too many classics, played with effects too much, muddied transitions, and created a lot of dance confusion.

The night I went was very Latin. Very youthful but if you go in for a good time with your friends, it’s fun. The service was great, tip the bartenders y’all, drinks were cheap.I don’t like that women have to pay to get in. That’s why I wouldn’t ever go again. It wasn’t worth 20$, this isn’t Hollywood. Not even in Hollywood women pay to get in.Park around the right corner.

I went to the club and the security guard Oma told me he couldn’t help me and to get out of line. I got my tickets a week before and he was not helpful at all. He was super dismissive and did not care that I was confused. I asked him if it was the correct address of the club and he said yes but it’s not working so that sucks. I asked what I could do he said nothing and to get out of line. I asked if I could speak to someone higher he said he was the higher person so I got out of line. Honestly I just do not appreciate that I was not helped. Thank you Oma for running my night.

My partner was assaulted here. A random man punched him in the face. Absolutely out of nowhere. And the club security escorted my bleeding partner out and let the perpetrator remain in the club. Absolutely a dangerous place.

This is always a great vibe, energy is great, people are always happy and friendly, maybe cause they are drinking but I love it👌 Never has failed me for a great night out. Prices a re very reasonable. Music is great. My favorite spot for Saturday night...I send everyone😁 Not sure about food being served.

I wish I could give a lower review! Tongue and Groove is extremely money-focused and ruined our last night in Atlanta. Despite paying $20 for entry and a bottle, their bottle prices are exorbitant. We were just trying to have a good time dancing in our section, like we did the night before, enjoying the EDM/house music. Suddenly, a security guard aggressively grabbed our friend while he was standing. He was forcefully pulled several times until the guard whispered something to him, finally letting go. They then escorted him outside, claiming he was too drunk to stand (even though he was fine before and after). We tried to explain that we were just dancing and having fun, but the security guard insisted he was too drunk. Eventually, they offer to let us back in, but the whole situation was ridiculous. They concluded we were the ones making the big deal as if he didn’t just do that. Its frustrating to think about how they mishandled it and made it a bigger deal than it needed to be. The security guard could have simple ask if he was ok. He took him 4-5 aggressive pull before having to speak to him to release. If he was so drunk why did it take the security so many try’s? My friend thought it was another group member joking! This happen 09/30 around 2am and I am leaving this review a hour later given this is a ridiculous situation and more then just about giving the ok to get allows back in after us terrible situating…

This wack bartender on 4/6 gave me and my friends drinks that were 90% salt and 2% margarita, the rest was water. Her mule was even worse. I tried to have fun with the slow music and get over it. When i got home, I checked my bank account and they charged me $60 for those 2 drinks. She didnt even give me a receipt for that one but she gave me the receipts for first order. Honestly was a lot going on and i regret letting her not do her job and not noticing that someone needed to get her a new career. and she added on her own tip.obviously im writing this after not hearing back from business about getting me my money back

Not a safe space for Women or POC. I witnessed a man punch a girl and he was not escorted out. The security instead took the girl out and continued to let this dangerous man stay at the club. Extremely unsafe when they allow drunk men to put their hands on girls and proceed to absolutely nothing. If you’re a women I highly advise you stay far away from this place .

One of my favorite nightclubs.. I have such an amazing time. It never misses. I’ve gone on Fridays and Saturdays and it’s always a blast! I bring my friends from out of town to tongue and groove and we talk about our nights out here for weeks after!

I have been a longtime fan of Perreologia & after tonight I will not be going back. I have never had to pay a cover before midnight. When I came in, I told the woman at the front desk and the bouncer I was going to Perreologia. The bouncer proceeded to open his arm allowing me through. The woman at the desk then proceeded to say it was a $20 cover. I asked her when they start charging, she said 9pm.Again, I have never, in all times going, paid a cover charge as I get there before midnight. They also for some reason still have it in the smaller room, which I don’t understand why; so many people come out specifically for this event. It was extremely crowded and the music tonight was honestly just horrible. I might as well have stayed at home and listened to my own playlist.

We came from out of town for a girls trip to Music Midtown. Decided we wanted to go to a “real club” since we’re from a small city. Tongue and Groove did not disappoint! We got there super early (like 10:30, Friday night) and it was pretty much empty. Bartender, Andrew, was awesome and chatted with us. We went to him the whole night. He told us we could hang out wherever we wanted, even the VIP sections, until someone kicked us out. So we went upstairs in one of the sections and waited for people to show up. Got really busy around 12-12:30. We hung out in the VIP spot most of the night. All the employees were super nice. Bathrooms were clean and well-kept. The DJ was not the best but he kept the vibe going. Drinks are overpriced but we expected that. Lots of men, not a lot of women, but most of the patrons were polite and weren’t creepy. We had an amazing time and 100% WILL be back when we come to town again! It was a great start to our girls weekend.

Attended a birthday celebration and it was almost tragic! Had reversation for a section. When we arrived that section turned into half of a section. I was very upset, so I got some air and asked for the person I reserved the section with. ( Rae) She came, listened and created a solution. The Birthday person had a blast and so did her guest. The club itself is amazing. Nice mixed crowd and plenty of beautiful people. The door guys are avg. female doors person was very helpful and very nice energy!First time

I went for the first time in a few years.waited forever in line and it was chilli.then got to the door and had to pay $40 dollars asked the front door lady if it was an event or something? Because thats high and have not gotten a drink.sh said everyone has to pay$40 dollars and she had a bad attitude about it.not good customer service on her part. Fabulous atmosphere and amazing people! This is the first “club” I’ve been to since having moved to Atlanta and I love it. I love how the bar is a circle and how the music area is set up. Everyone is super helpful and nice. I was there for a specific event and their capability of working with us were above and beyond. Will definitely be returning for a private evening!

We went last night and it was okay, I guess it was salsa night which was cool. Didn’t find the people around to be friendly so we did our own thing. The club mostly played salsa and rap music. Only 2 Afro beat songs which was kind of a mess. We also wanted to learn salsa and went around to the teacher who completely ignored us. Not sure if we will go back to this club. Drinks were okay as well.

Ive been here over ten times and I think is this overall one of the best clubs in Atlanta. Cover is usually $20 and staff has always been friendly when Ive visited. Drinks are reasonably priced for a club, not cheap, but not over priced. The DJ is usually pretty good. My favorite night to visit is on Monday nights because its a hip hop crowd.

I went there and had a terrible experience at the door. The security Vince was extremely rude and disrespectful. I even complained to the bartenders about it and they all agreed.He obviously has anger issues. If it wasn’t for the Dj’s and the bartenders I wouldn’t be coming back.

Absolutely awesome night club and amazing staff! Truly was made to feel welcome and had an absolute blast. Cool to go to a place where the employees actually enjoy being at work!! My id and debit card got stolen and was used by whoever stole it to buy drinks. My friend also got her phone stolen out of her bag when we went. Front desk was extremely unhelpful in all of this. Girls please do not go here on Thursday nights, high chance of getting your stuff taken out of ur bag and not to mention the crazy covers at the door

The DJ on a Thursday night was good but why does he have to change a song after 15 secs? He would go from Hip Hop to rock and it was just a random assortment of music. I would give it a five star since it’s a nice place but the music and DJ was trash. The establishment is nice and unique but the DJ really killed the mood for the night. I’m sorry but who plays a song for 10 secs and changes it to another song? Hookah and drinks were great. Just need to change the DJ. Overall, the music wasn’t up to par but the drinks and service was great.

I went here with some friends while visiting Atlanta and it was an amazing time. The service was fantastic and fast unlike many other places I’ve been to. They have two different DJs going with different music so it is very easy to find your vibe. In addition to the two different parts of the club they also have a sweet upstairs that looks over the main bar. The style was unique and I will for sure be back.

Had my b day celebration at this location and my overall experience of the night was ok. Music was ok, the DJ wasn’t very diverse when it came to different genres of music. I made reservations for bottle service at a set price and by the end of the night my tab was doubled due to fees that I was not informed about until checking out. Some drinks were added to my tab which I did not order and I was fully responsible for having to pay the entire tab. I made a complaint with management to try to solve the issue. I was told nothing can be done and the sale was final. What a way to spend a birthday celebration 🤷🏽‍♂️

This place is terrible! They let at least 100 people too many enter this location. You cant walk or move. The insane bar takes up half of the room in this place. So there is essentially no dance floor area! You cant get to the bathroom because you have to squeeze through hundreds of people in the 5 foot area between the bar and the wall. Im serious this is the worst designed club in Atlanta metro. If they are going to use this design. There should at least be a maximum occupancy so that you could enjoy your time there. Who needs that giant circle bar in the middle? No one!

Fun place. Good music. BUT they will scam you in a heartbeat. Bring and use cash if you go. I signed out my tab at the upstairs bar for $80.00 and when I checked my CC statement a few days later, I was charged $166! Same thing happened to my friend that night. He had a single person tab with a few drinks and was charged $194. So, having said that, be careful. Fun place, but if you use a card keep your receipt and watch for overcharges

I’ve celebrated many birthdays here and the entire staff was accommodating, friendly, and fun. The music has always been on point and I love their DJ’s. Even their security is quick to take care of issues to keep their patrons safe and alwyas handle the situations with care. They’re not just “Bouncers”. Love everything about this place and will be coming for a long time. It’s been around for a couple decades and that’s saying a lot for any bar or club!

The main focus of this establishment is the bar, it completely encircles the room. If youre looking for somewhere to drink that has flashy decor, expensive bottle service and an abundance of EDM than this is your place. One of the security staff was extremely rude to me for no apparent reason and the constant police presence makes me believe that this place has issues keeping customers safe. There is hardly any dance floor and people continue to cram in to the point where you can not move. Im not sure how that is legally allowed, especially with so many people smoking indoors. My opinion is to avoid all together.

If I’m looking for a place to see, be seen, dance, drink, and have an all around great time T&G is now and has been that place for the last 20 some years. With a diverse crowd, great music, and reasonable drinks it’s the perfect place for groups celebrating a bachelorette, birthday, or any other special occasion; even just a fun night out it doesn’t disappoint. The staff is friendly, speedy, and respectful of the clientele. They strive to make everyone feel comfortable and at home during their experience from cocktails and bartenders to security.

Got bottle service last week at a table. $350 and the bar-backs (who speak perfect English btw) we’re the rudest and most disrespectful people I have ever met in the service industry. I would not recommend except for the dance music and that would be it.

Great place to salsa dance on a weeknight (Wednesdays). Mixed crowd of a few high level dancers and a bunch of people trying it out. They have a separate room for more club music as well.

If I could rate this club a 0 I would. This club is extremely overcrowded with no place to sit. The night we went we were pushed multiple times by a party in a section. This club let the section get overcrowded and nothing was done about their rude behavior or aggressiveness. This is NOT a place you want to go unless you are ready to FIGHT. There was little to no African Americans.

Tounge and Groove is a great club. Its classy and modern, but it still has a fun atmosphere and has a lot of areas that are very private. Most of the time they are reserved, but the building design is great for intimacy. The bars are accessible and they have a lot of bar tenders and girls on staff who work different jobs so if you need a someone there are usually more than enough people working to get your requests taken care of. There is a top and bottom level of this club as well as two separate areas on the bottom floor. There are bars in all three areas with at least two bar tenders working all bars. They have good DJS and there is enough room to dance, because most people get sections.Bottle service: they have good bottle service. The girls are very nice when they bring your bottle to VIP, and they will pour more drinks for you as well. They give you plenty of mixers, I had a bottle of Grey Goose and it came with 3 mixers and multiple glasses. Did not have any issues when we ordered it. One of the nice things about this club is that they have such a large staff that it is easy to get requests taken care of quickly. I wanted a girl to pour us more drinks and it was taken care of in less than 10 minutes. And it took then less than 20 for the girls at the front desk to get us our bottle and our section have it cleared with management and have the girls bring us our bottle.

Came here last Friday for a night with friends for my 30th birthday. The staff and owner could not have been more accommodating. I somehow ended up with two free bottles of champagne. Everyone in my group had a fantastic time! Shout out to Neva behind the bar for taking great care of us. Always a pleasure @ T&G

Got my phone stolen before and 2 nights ago i got my wallet stolen. I didnt lose it cuz 2 nights ago THREE other ppl i know had their phone stolen too from their bag. Never again coming to this club, too many shady people.

Home to me! Always great bar staff and the best lights, atmosphere and djs anywhere! I have been going there 6 years straight and even though the crowd has become younger, I still feel comfortable. People there are always friendly and just love to dance, rave or just chill with their drink! Tongue and Groove Atlanta is top of the list to me and always a great night out!

Today is my first time to come here, this is a great club! But maybe some staff misunderstood me, one staff told me I can smoke near restroom, but after two of the staff told me I need go out to smoke and I go with them, they told me I cannot go inside anymore because I smoke inside. I feel I did not do something wrong, a lot of people smoke near restroom. They directly put me outside! I hope it’s a misunderstanding! And this club was very good!

We had to pay cover for a place that is essentially a bar with fancy lighting which is ridiculous esp bc its a tiny place. We were only allowed to stand around the bar bc there was no sitting available to the non vip patrons and no one was allowed upstairs. My sister and I tried walking to the restroom only to be kicked out by the bouncer bc he thought we were drunk and we weren’t even drunk; he didn’t give us a chance to grab our stuff and pushed us out (luckily someone told my Bf we were getting kicked out) Honestly, there are better clubs in Atlanta.

Atlanta legal age limit is 21 to get in the club. Last night Allison Rae (under 21) was there partying with friends. While having experienced being denied when I was underage to go in the exact club, this energy should be included for everyone. Very disappointed in this club for discriminating on who can and cannot come in the club. Will not be coming back.

THIS PLACE SUX! It sux bc of the management and their employees. We were the 1st people in the door when TNG opened at 9pm on NYE. Noticing all the seats and tables were blocked off, we asked the bartender where to sit. He sd the seats in the small bar that were not blocked off were open seating. We chose a seat in the small bar next to the stairs bc it offered a good view. It was not blocked off, and we first asked an employee if that was an area we can sit and they sd yes. It was right near the front door, the bouncers and management saw us sitting there from the time we walked in. I had a couple of drinks, but Terry wasnt drinking bc he was the DD that night. We were minding our own business, talking between ourselves, when around 11:00pm, a bouncer came to us and sd we had to move, that we couldnt sit there. I asked why and they sd they rented that space out to other customers. I explained that we were sitting there all night and were told that we were allowed to sit there. I guess bc I questioned him and didnt hop right up, they sent a few more bouncers over there to intimidate us. Not only was the whole situation rude as hell, but it was embarrassing. When I refused to move, the management came over there, escorted by the police, and told me I HAD to move. Luckily for me, about that time, 2 people got up from the bar near where we were sitting and we were able to go sit there, but not without having people bump and squeeze in next to us trying to get a drink at the bar. I say luckily for me bc I wouldnt have moved otherwise, and I would have had a huge problem if they laid their hands on me, and the way they brought their SQUAD over there, I felt very threatened that they would have done just that.Now, if the MANAGEMENT had politely come over to us, ask how we were doing, and ASK us if we would be willing to give up our seats, and maybe offering to buy us a drink, then we would have not had any problem doing that. But the whole situation was rude and disrespectful. They dont care about all of their guests, only the ones that buy the VIP sections. But, from what I hear and read in the reviews, they quote one price on the phone when reserving a VIP section, but charge a much higher price when you get there. The management did end up telling the bartender our next round was on him, AFTER we sat down at the bar. But by that time, it didnt make up for the way they treated us.We were so comfortable where we were sitting, enjoying the music, and we were actually glad we chose TNG. But the way they came over and handled the situation changed the whole tone of the night.What did the $200 that it cost just to get in the door get us? It got us kicked out of our seats, thats what it got us.The reason this place is getting one star is bc I cant leave zero stars! I will leave this same review on every social media platform I can, plus I will spread the word by mouth.

Don’t go!!! It use to be a nice spot? Now if you go after 10 pm expect to pay $50 a couple, $30 for men and $20 for women! Long unisex bathroom “ they to cheap for bathrooms” no seats any where! Upon making a section reservation we had been told that it would cost a minimum of $450 - upon arrival the server asks for my card and ID in advance and tells us it would be a minimum of 3 bottles aka charge of $750 after being aggravated we went along with it bc of the plans we already made. They “PURPOSELY” waited until I leave the section to bring out “2 extra champagne bottles” literally 30 mins before closing time and handed me a bill of $1,200-GREAT VENUE, HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! WON’T recommend to get a section

I never write reviews, but it seems like oftentimes people only post when they want to gripe. I on the other hand, had a great time and want to share my experience. I’ve been going to this club off and on since it opened in its’ original location when it was the hottest thing on Peachtree Road. It was (and always has been?) a see-and-be-scene spot with a super strict door, but hey it was the 90s, and that was cool back then. The owners have been smart to change and adapt with the times. When I was there this past weekend, it reminded me why T&G has continued to thrive after all these years. From the front door to the bar, I was still treated like a VIP. (even one of the valets out front recognized me) Many of the faces have changed over the years, but it seems everyone from management on down, still adheres to the basic mantra of being nice. It’s obvious the staff enjoys working there.The club is clean and maintained, and it seems there’s always something new about it. The light show is ridiculous (in a good way) and while it can be super loud, they probably have the best quality sound system in the city. The DJs are smart to play to the crowd, as it seemed everybody was groovin’ around the bar, at the tables, and on the somewhat small dance floor. We hung out almost to close in The Joint, which is kinda a side room, with a different vibe.I don’t burn the midnight oil like I used to, but when I do whether with my wife, or out-of-town guests, we always swing by for old times sake and have an amazing time. The crowd while ever-evolving, is still hot and remains super diverse; b&w and everyone in between, hipsters and influencers to old dudes like me. The crazy thing is, I think it’s busier now more than ever?!Thank you Tongue & Groove for helping Atlanta maintain a thriving nightlife scene for all this time. Keep up the good work.Cheers.

T & G is one of those spots you really like, or cant stand. I side with the ladder for a number of reasons. Yes, its a club. Yes, its sheek inside and has a very cool club feel to it, but there are trade-offs. If youre not in the VIP area, you might as well be non-existent. I ordered a vodka/tonic... Boom! $12. Ouch. There arent many other clubs/lounges around if you grow tired of the atmosphere. You can always walk to Wet Willies, but you will find a different crowd and a much dressed-down attire than what youre wearing. They have a valet service (not complimentary) that can help you park. Enter at your own risk....

The club was fun but the night ended horrible!!!! I left my wallet in the car and parked it with valet!!! When I was ready to leave and they brought my car NO WALLET!!!! I had $550 in cash in it!!! I had three people including myself that clearly saw me leave my wallet on the seat and when I got back it was gone!!! No broken window only thing out of place was my wallet!!! I still haven’t gotten a call back from management!!!

Ive been to this club about 5 times.... ALL of which Ive gotten a table. EVERY TIME Ive been, there has been a discrepancy over the initially discussed prices and the price once you and your guests are seated..... This past Saturday took the cake! I was told that I would get a table for 15-20 people and bottles at $200/ea by their promoter Josh.... Not the case.... We showed up and were seated by the stairs to the far side of the bar.... AT MOST you could fit 10 people in there. Heres the kicker... Once seated I was pulled aside and told the bottles would be $300/ea.... I text Josh and he told me I could be moved to the far side of the bar for $200 a bottle or pay $300 there and get one compd.... I knew wed get at least one more so I let it slide.... An hour later here comes the bill.... $832.... Imagine my surprise. I spent 10 years in the Marine Corps, so I know math isnt my strong suit lol but DAMN!!! Needless to say, my days of being ripped off here are done..... Steer clear folks..... ANY SUGGESTIONS on where we should go instead?!?!

Ive been here plenty of times in the last few years but this past Saturdays experience made me highly upset. My friends and I were in a section by the DJ booth. The section next to us was over capacity (had at least 50-60 people) and they were getting into our section, spilling drinks on some of us, being aggressive, wanting to fight, etc. The security was told multiple times to get the unknown people out of our sections and assist with the situation, but nothing was done about it. For the price that was paid, this is completely unacceptable!!!

Typical Buckhead meat market club. Crowded with Dirtbags, over priced drinks and hookahs. I have gone several Wednesdays for Salsa. The bar service in the main area has gotten better. This club had started to move up with me but then they screwed up again. My last Wednesday, several of my friends and me danced in the side room. The floor was empty and we actually know how to dance so we cranked it on. The DJ then got on the Mike and told us to take our little routines elsewhere. Very well Mr DJ, you have your wish.

Great atmosphere..I celebrated my bday for the whole month of sept..soooo also went her for bday festivities..The salsa music was great.Dj friendly & shouted me out few bday wishes. The women kept complimenting my bday gown from the entrance door to the vip area which was an indication for good vibes, good ppl which a low hater count.The staff were friendly & made us feel so comfortable.The hookah ..yes We did hookahs which only added 2 the great experience..I loved my dress but the dam mermaid leg sqeeze prevented me from dancing as much as i would have liked.I will def go back but next time i ll be dressed ready to dance

As a woman, I have never felt more unsafe in any establishment. I wish I could say it was other patrons that acted horrifyingly inappropriate. Unfortunately, it was employees. Ladies, do not come here under any circumstances...But if you do, please be safe. And make sure you come with lots of friends and do not separate. Watch one another.

AWFUL!!! Weve had two VIP birthday parties in the last 3 weeks, the first time was decent. The waitress Heather made it worth returning. The second time was an epic fail, the bald headed, tall, Af-Am security officer is a joke. He attempted to put me out of the club for cutting in line for the bathroom simply because a patron claimed I did. A sloppy drunk chick to be exact! Then he lied and stated that he and the General Manager saw me cut in line, what makes that most interesting is that I had to push the patron off me. So according to security, he and the GM saw an assault take place and did nothing to intervine. A waste of time!! Will never return, not worth the money. Heather let us know if you choose a new venue to work for, well definitely swing thru to support you.

The little Security officer at the door is s Real scam. Told me I had to pay him $20 because of an out of state license then held in line for 15 minutes to make me pay a additional $30 to go in. Good people here Staff sucks. I wont go back or speak highly until I see change

Tongue and Groove. There’s many words to be said about this place, however, all of them are negatives. I went there with a few close friends on 12/9/17. Everything is okay for the most part. I tip when I believe it is warranted. Believe it or not tips are voluntary good service, not a mandatory act. I ordered a B52 shot from a tall dark guy (he will never be known as a gentlemen that’s for sure) and when I decided to not leave a tip he waived me over and said exactly “don’t order another layered shot from me without tipping me.” First off “buddy” no establishment should employ someone that treats their consumers like that, second off your not guaranteed a tip so don’t demand one from me and throw a little hissy fit when you don’t get what you want. Needless to say you need some more respectable bartenders.. Scratch that, an actual bartender would be respectable to their patrons.

I would love to give this place a five star however the customer service I received after losing a valuable wristband and having a few issues with my tab which I had no problem paying. I was told by the manager to call the next day. I did so, multiple times only to get the reservation number (frustratingly it the only number available) but I still left a voicemail with my number multiple times. I called back again during regular club hours and no one answered the phone. Im very frustrated. Im visiting from out of town and I would like to go back to this venue but if this is why happens when I lose item then I dont want to go back and neither should anyone else.

Nice place went on a Monday. I just wish the DJ dont talk as much or AT ALL cant enjoy the music with all the talking. Also a few of my friends suggest the same advice. Music was ok. Should play some African and jamican music. Still will rate it a four. Just be prepared for the DJ to be interrupting the music. No place to sit nither.

THe dj and bartenders were okay. The bouncers were rude. I felt offended before I even came into the club. The past couple of times I have not been satisfied. Me and my friends will not be coming back here again because of how we were treated. I came here to ATL as a student to have a good time with my classmates and we were very disappointed. My bestfriend paid for VIP online on eventbrite and was unable to get in, because of miscommunication from the establishment and what they publicized on eventbrite. when I came for my birthday it was also a miscommunication with the VIP section.

Theres a $20.00 cover per person, the drinks are reasonable but felt watered down and the crowd looked very young 21 to maybe 27 years old. Lots of sagging pants and tennis shoes.

Great club. Khloe and Jayne run the show, theyre both awesome and super professional. Always a great time at TnG, and those ladies are chiefly responsible. Can get crowded especially for things like Halloween and NYE, because its the hottest spot in Atlanta, easily.

This has got to be the worst venue that I have had my organization host our event at. They do not give us any specifications on the reentry at the entrance. Courtney or whoever it was very rude when I approached her and asked her why my party was not being satisfied in terms of the conditions we had with the contractual agreement with this place. Needless to say we will never be contacting this place again and I recommend that you attend another venue with more professionalism with their stuff.

Tongue and Groove is an okay place. Removed from other bars its not a place to go if you want to hop around to many places in one night. Its also very smoky from the amount of people smoking inside and the smoke machines. I hate getting dressed up and going out only to come home smelling like an ashtray. Theres a dance floor and many VIP tables (highly recommend) and a photobooth to have fun in. The crowd is a little older than many other clubs so travel accordingly.There are ALWAYS cops on Piedmont Road. If you are going to go to TnG please take a cab. They frequently do traffic stops and check IDs.

I was there on new years eve Seth was my bartender (mixologist ) he was awesome... Very tall slim handsome fella... I was there with a very cheap date and Seth did not let those continuous $4 tips detour his attitude... Ive never received such professionalism and he was friendly and funny... It was so packed and we got our drinks little Ceasars fast his barbacks were awesome aswell...being a night server I definitely understand the business. Definitely the best bar in ATL... I felt like I was back in Vegas...

The energy is HIGH in this place! Great mixture of music mostly hip hop with edm...if your not into the edm theres another level that is strictly hip hop with a small mixture of Spanish or Reggaeton but quick to go back to hip hop...drinks are reasonable priced if your not from here I reccomend this place if you want to get wild...you might see a few people slip n fall lol

Worst place to get a section. They lied about prices and size of bottles along with having disrespectful service and management. Youre better off going to Gold Room next store if youre planning on getting a section and having a good time. Youll actually get your moneys worth and be treated as a well paying customer should be.

Got robbed and no one helped

Went to dance for Latin Wednesdays and there was absolutely no room to dance. There was a ton of people just standing in the middle of the dancing area, and everyone kept bumping into one another. Not enough room.

They were very unfriendly upon entering. Was rejected because of clothing. Its a night club, who cares? Open despite pandemic hazard to stay in business, yet they dont allow well dressed people in, makes sense.

TnG is one of best clubs in Atlanta, I been clubbing for a while from Miami to Vegas and I highly recommend this place. A lot of ATL clubs went downhill that were once Hot such as Havana, Opera, etc but TnG remains hot, Great Music, Great Drinks, Awesome atmosphere, Beautiful people. Check it out for your self

Too small of a bar to call itself a club. I literally could have created that club inside my house within one hour. It looked like a teenager hosted his own birthday party at a fraternity house.

I wasnt impressed by the decor or the service. The music was ok. The bartenders we practically naked, only has some black tape on them.

Had to pay for water. Cost 7 dollars a bottle. Absolutely unheard of from an establishment that serves drinks.

These people lie about there bottle specials. Beware!!! They tell you everything is half off, but when your bill comes everything is full price. Never going back to this place and Im going to make sure everyone I know knows about there lying ways. Again BEWARE !

It is 1 club with a management team that are beyond talented. But you can tell they need a new spot to enlighten upon.

Upscale club. Everyone dressed to impress. Must park with Valet. Beware....Bad experience with the women’s bathroom attendant.

Place is prejudice against people that can’t afford nice clothes, so if you show up in a polo and jeans, expect to be turned away.
