The employees are angels for the most part & vibes are ethereal and immaculate.I informed an employee I needed my scrub massage to be gentle on my arms β€” I’m disabled.I told her I’d be happy to use Google translate to inform the masseuse myself, or if it was too much trouble, he could skip my arms. The employee acted as if I asked her to recite the digits of Pi backwards. It was clear before I even walked away that my need was not going to be met.The massage is $130… let’s met our customers basic needs. It was clear that there was no effort in communication from the employee to the masseuse, and I ended up having to end the massage halfway through because my shoulder popped out of place. It is STILL out of place, and every day has been more painful than the last, ever since the massage.I was not given a refund and rudely informed that I should have stopped the massage within 10 minutes like the sign says on the front desk.If they couldn’t inform the masseuse to be gentle, how could I inform the masseuse to end the massage? Just wondering. Because the reason given to me was β€œlanguage barrier.”The masseuse is absolutely wonderfulβ€” no shade to him. I believe things got lost in communication between the front desk employee and him, if any communication occurred at all.Multiple signs regarding refund & disability policy are COMPLETELY hidden behind others on the front desk.No refund WOULD be fair (in a dystopian, ableist way) IF the signs were displayed correctly.

I don’t know where to begin. I been to other Korean Spa’s so my expectations coming in were pretty low. But from the moment I walked into the lobby, I knew this place was different. The space is nicely decorated. All the areas where clean and maintained. The downstairs common area/pool/bar was lively and a vibe. I got a seaweed wrap, which included a body scrub, hair wash (I declined that) and a facial. My services were performed by Grace, and she was truly amazing. She scrubbed every inch of my body, and after the seaweed treatment, she washed me like I was a newborn baby. I got a massage/stretching with warm towels applied on me. This was the best treatment I have ever had, and 4 days later, my skin is still soft as ever. I HIGHLY recommend this 24-hour spa.Con: They did make me give them cash or debit card only (although there are signs for credit cards all over) I’m assuming cause it was my first time? There was a girl, in a pink bathing suit, on her phone in the women’s bathing area. No one told her to disrobe or put her phone up, so I think they should do better checks of that.

Wonderful facilities. Great staffIt has everything in women: great herbal steam, sauna, jacuzzi, cold plunge salt room, rest area . Got the best scrub and oil massage. The mixed areas have the salt room, stone room, and even ice room .Lovely outdoor area with a fountain . The best swimming pool with a bar ( only open on weekends and holidays) with great waterfall, cool tub, and jacuzziHardly busy like the zoo at Wii spa. Such a hidden gem . In a way I want to keep it to myself, but it is too good and really people should go there .I have been going to Korean spas for the last 25 years.I have been to so many in LA ,one in Torrance and one in Valley. This is by far the best.Oh, also, the restaurant is so good with many great selections of food and drinks/ juices.

I’ve tried other spas in SoCal and I keep coming back to Spa Palace. This spot is open 24 hrs and and you even sleep here if you want but overnight rates cost a bit more. I usually like coming here at night time since there’s less people and it feels more relaxing. There is a private parking garage with valet if you want to valet, but there is also free parking on the side of the building. When you park, you have to take an elevator to go up to the front desk. Service here has always been friendly each time I visit. You can ask so request for a shaver and toothbrush as needed. If you are doing an overnight, they also provide you with a blanket. In the Co-Ed space: I would recommend going into the hot rooms for 10-15 mins each then go to the cold room for at least 5 minutes and rest 10-15 minutes in the co-ed area. Repeat this routine 2-3 times. The co-ed space also has a restaurant that you can purchase food and snacks from.In the Locker room: I would recommend going to the steam mist room, sauna room, rinse, then jacuzzi after. The jacuzzi has 2 heated one and a cold plunge. I would recommend 10-15 mins in the Jacuzzi, then go to the cold plunge and stay in there for a minimum of 30 seconds. Sit and rest in the room for 5-10 minutes and repeat if you want to. Usually I cant take showers or anything cold but whenever I go to Spa Palace, a cold plunge is a must! I like to end my visit here with a cold plunge then shower and go home to sleep. You will be amazed how you feel right after leaving Spa Palace since the cold plunge will actually make you feel better.

Unfortunately, stuff in this place deceive and sneers on their guests. My husband and I came to relax, but received a portion of rudeness from the manager. Their pool was not working. Nobody told us about this when we arrived. We were very tired, they let us sign that we were informed with the rules of behavior in this place , the rules, by the way, they didn’t show, but oh well, we weren’t careful, we signed and didn’t pay attention of what exactly we signed, how we found out it was their deception. After 15 minutes we saw that the pool and jacuzzi were not working, this area was closed, we went to the reception to find out, but they simply told us in a hypocritical tone that no one was going to open for us and in general we signed that we were familiar with the fact that the pool is not working (we did not ask for the pool to be opened for us). Just why is it difficult to put up a notice or inform every guest that the pool is not open? The manager said that yes, its really not difficult to tell the guests, but they wont do it, and that we can β€œenjoy what we have or leave” . Accordingly, no one was going to return the money to us. It was the rude and humiliating communication that was very unpleasant.P.sthe remaining hour in this spa I just cried from resentment. It’s really bad experience(

REVIEW OF REVIEW.I returned to the spa and realized that they have nice boards showing the instructions in the glass doors at the entrance, now its enough to keep the doors closed. On the other hand, they have kept enough water in the jars.On the other hand, I just try the restaurant and its amazing. I would be back just as a restaurant for the bulgogi, a beer and a shaved ice, which are delicious. And the service deserves a mention apart, simply great. 5 stars without a doubt.ORIGINALIve been to several Korean spa in LA, and for me this one has the best facilities. The food at the restaurant is good and Im glad I finally found a spa that sells beer, considering that with the dehydration water is not enough. There are some odds for me that keeps this place far from 5 stars. The most important for me is that they dont have drinking water readily available, you need to ask for that, and there are times that theres no one to ask for it, this is even a safety risk that could lead to bigger problems for the business in my perspective. On the other hand, this is the spa where I have seen more newbies that dont know the rules and some of them used the facilities without taking a shower. The boards with the rules are hard to read, so it would be better to add more visual boards with easier indications. It would be easy to make this the best spa in LA with small tweaks to the service.

I used to truly love this spot. Now I’m just here to confirm this place used to be awesome but has turned bad. Particularly the front desk staff. No idea why. I still love the spa experience as much as ever but have come to dread the check in process at Spa Palace.See the many other recent 1-Star reviews from people with similar experiences, and the combative responses from the business.😬 TL;DR: the customer writing the bad review is always wrong and stupid. There’s plenty of other Korean Spas around here with the exact same prices AND friendly staff. Skip Spa Palace and gift yourself a pleasant day. πŸ™‚*update: The response from management: just perfect. πŸ™πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

It was the worst service I have ever experienced here! Which is very unfortunate. The co-ed pools are now only open Friday - Sunday, the young girl (Jasmine or J) at the front desk did not mention that when i told her, Thats why we were there. When i asked for a credit to return the next day, she said no. Then, said because it was over 15 minutes and the hours are listed on the website. I told her it took longer than 15 minutes for us to change and realize the pools were closed. Not only that, i did not book on the website. She was rude. She put her hands in our faces and ignored us when we asked questions. She did not give us the name or information of a manager when we asked because she said it was personal information. We paid and did not get to use the services we came for. There was another couple there who came and asked the same question because its not clear when you pay that they are only open certain days. Overall, dont waste your money here!

This place used to be a great experience but my last day of going here was June 1, 2024!! They receptionist employees definitely need more training and experience with explaining and going above & beyond! They also need to provide them with a working shirt (uniform) & name tags! As well as state their names (employees) when answering the phones so that we can know who we spoke too! One employee in particular working June 1, 2024 the night shift around 4-10ish was really rude, had a big ego and was getting aggressive and raising her voice!! I spend over $250 since I took my family, got drinks at the bar and food and massage! I’ll def wont be back and wont ever recommend this place. The employees attitude is not worth my money since theres other places to experience. They should also make it very clear when answering phones and questions asked, the age limit and mention the child shall be accompanied by the same gender. And also mentioned that on Saturdays they don’t provide t-shirts & shorts! And state certain changes and how somedays differ from others. Furthermore, we can agree or disagree!!! But we can’t discriminate and/nor be bias and leave out women and single mothers that might have no partner or grandparents!!! We are living in 2024 where kids go to the restroom with their mother and there are family restroom/rooms! And as/some mothers, friends, aunts I can completely disagree that some women in the locker room would be so upset with someone having a mother/son day out!!! A lil boy’s imagine is not like an adult male!!!! Kids are kids!! And I much rather bring my lil innocent boy come with me in the females room. So it’s definitely, not common sense when we can debate.

It was my first time at a Korean spa and the first time at this spa for my daughter and me. The front desk was very friendly. We though couldnt understand how you pay for a service online and you now have to repay before service is rendered. That didnt seem right to me.The locker room was very clean. Being our first time there, we didnt know where to wait for our service. When asked, we was told to go to the spa pools, and the person was there to provide the service.I did choose one of the exfoliating services, but nothing was explained to me, and there might have been a language barrier. But all I can remember is water being splashed on me like an animal. I liked the scrub, but not the abrupt water, which was a tad hot. I flinched every time it hit me. Also, Im a woman of a certain age, I had difficulty turning over, I felt I was going to slide off the table and hit the concrete. I was very nervous and I really tried not to have a panic attack. I had the facial which was nice (really its a mask). I wasnt asked did I want my hair washed and all of a sudden it was being washed, but it turned out OK, for blow dryers are there. Luckily, I was going straight home and could refix my hair. Had Id known Id brought my hair products and curling iron.I would have liked to have seen more drinking water stations and provided water after the service, I tend to get light-headed. And towel and wash cloth availability other than whats given at the desk. Overall, my body is soft from head to toe! But, its an experience Ill never forget.

I visited this place on a Monday in mid April. I live in NYC and often visit Spa Castle for an affordable self care day. I was interested in seeing how this place compared. I like how the entrance is set up, it gives a surprisingly elegant vibe which you wouldn’t expect from the outside. They give you some clothes to change into just like spa castle.YOU NEED TO BRING CASH FOR THE SERVICE TIPS. They do not accept credit cards either. Only debit or cash, but there is atm in the lobby. The layout of the locker room is nice and neat, I was given the VIP locker, which simply includes a mirror and lounge seats on the sides Instead of the middle. I believe the vip may be for guests with booked services. The only thing about the locker room is I never found the rest room. It was unclear as to whether you should go out into the co-Ed area or if you need to go into the nude area inside…I went to get some food from the food area, I was greeted by Samuel. Samuel was so memorable to me. He was a cool looking Asian guy who reminded me of the old movies my dad used to watch with subtitles but the voice coming out would be a clear English American accent. He made me a delicious and thoughtful meal and served me at the table. My o my complaint is that he was just opening up and there were many dishes stacked on the side of the eating room… I do not blame him as it seems the spa itself needs more help when opening up after a busy weekend perhaps. Anyway, the food was perfect. He also made me a passion fruit slushie and I loved it.Next, I had a massage and scrub service which was great. I don’t recall the woman’s name but she was very keen to my shyness and was very comforting during her services of being scrubbed and rubbed down laying naked on the table lol. I unfortunately found out that I could not in fact use Apple Pay to give her money and I do t carry around my cards much anymore so the atm was of no use to me… I kept her envelope as I plan to mail her a cash tip even tho it’s been weeks… I even asked the girl at the front desk to please take my venmo or cash app payment to give her cash. But she didn’t really want to make that effort so she told me to just come back next time.. again, I was a visitor in town for work and no cards or cash.Overall, the price was great. I spend about $150 for the dual services and food and stayed over 4 hours. I will be going back!

Afterwards, when I left, she told me that since we were going to leave at 11pm, she didnt think it was necessary to tell me about the time of closing for the facilities (only) in the womens side. Very Good & Very Bad.(maybe just a little bit dangerous). The SPA IS NICE, DINNER WAS NICE, the SERVICE WAS VERY BAD. i would go back, if the service was friendly & capable. More on that later if you care.ParkingThere is a small parking garage, very close to the elevators, go to the 3rd floor for reception.I parked (for free) i think some reviews mentioned they paid, i got the best parking spot, maybe they weren’t very busy, Thursday night around 8:30-ish.ReceptionThe host(s) were both very young women, one was new to the space very friendly, but deferred to the other for most all questions. The other one seemed to know the drill, but wasn’t very welcomingThis is a nice facility overall. It is very clean and well laid out. It appears to be newer construction than most of the other K Spas in the area. Mens facility has 2 hot tubs, one hotter than the other, and an cold water plunge tub. It also has a dry sauna which is fine, but the upstairs coed spas are all nicer. The steam room in the mens seemed to be only partially working, so it had a very little amount of steam and was more like a warm humid day, a little musty, not really a hot wet healthy room. The coed spaceThe coed space is nice, it is a large room with some fancy sofa like seats, large for chairs, cozy as love seats (see pics). There is a very big projection along one wall, that was playing an LA Lakers basketball game. There is a drink counter with a lot of choices. I had to holler into the back, as there was nobody manning the register. I got an Aloe water and a Corn Silk tea, both are nice, and my go to, with water when planning for a lot of sweating.I went next window to order dinner, and again nobody was there. After hollering to the back a nice lady came out and discussed some of the options. I went for some steamed dumplings and an Udon noodle bowl. They were both nicely cooked, and came out very quickly. Now with dinner out of the way, i started my circuit, by going into the gold room, a large gold plated pyramid shaped dry sauna room. it was comfortable, and then i wanted to go a bit hotter, so i went to the clay ball room. I laid into the clay, and love the way the clay balls surround the body, and start to cook you. This is where it got DANGEROUS.When i sat up, i put my hands down into the clay balls to help myself up. there are wooden rafters under the clay, and when i put my hands down i got several splinters in the end of my middle finger on my strong hand. This is the most annoying place to get them, as i use that finger for everything /: 2 of the splinters were small and exposed. i managed to get them out OK, but couldn’t get the big ones out, as they were under the skin.I went to the front to ask for tweezers, and was told they don’t have any. i asked to look in the first aid kit, which they did, but didn’t have anything. I went back into the mens, and tried some more, but was likely just making it worse. I got dressed and went to reception. i asked if i could pay, and then have a pass to come back in, so i could leave and fix my situation. i was told β€œno in & out”. i asked if there was any way to make an exception, and was told i could have 10 minutes! impossible.Unfortunately, i did not get to do the circuit of saunas, or check out the pool area or lounge ):This was all very disappointing, as i had driven 45 minutes to get there.

My friend and I came to the Palace spa today close to 1:00pm. Paid for admission, and shortly after got into dangerous situation! One African American fully dressed man was running inside of facility and crushed everything he saw around. He destroyed everything in cafeteria and food court. We decided to run and hide in womans locker room but there were three men there around naked females.. scary! My friend and I ran through a fire exit outside to backyard and hided over there for about half an hour. We were totally trapped there. All fire and emergency exits were locked!!! Fences have wires with metal sticks on the top.. Our phones and clothes were left at lockers.. we had no opportunity to call police or get any help..After some time we decided to check what is going on inside (we were wet and cold outside in chilly January day), so we went back to facility. All men left and we met females who were dressing quickly to run away from that horrible place. We also got dressed, collected our belongings and went to the front desk.We asked what happened, how problem were solved and where is a police.. the answer was unexpected (!!!)Girl at the front desk said she didnt call to police because those men left already! And because she personally didnt see what happened inside of facility. Wow!We asked to return money back, she refused. Also, she refused to call manager, supervisor or the owner. She refused to provide any contact information of them.. and according of her behavior and reaction to that episode we assumed that it was not the first time something happened there. So, we are lucky to leave that place in one piece and alive! My review isnt a joke! Im still shaking. Also, that spa is absolutely outdated and dirty. Cement pieces in the pool all over the floor. Lamps on the ceiling are full of hair you can see.., spa rooms are not maintained at all.Dont ever go to that place. It should be closed by City sanitation inspectors if they ever check those placesUpdate to your answer- you didn’t even bother to check details- our check in time was 1.03 pm. I have proof in my CC.Such a great business- instead of apology- blame the customers.Actions will be taken about all situation and that fire exit door was locked up. In case of fire or shooting or anything else - customers are locked in the little yard area without any chance to escape.

These were charged to our card but when we arrived we had to pay everything in cash and the card charges were reversed days later. There were a few kids running around but they were sweet and it was nowhere near the Lord of the Flies chaos of the Wi Spa kids room. Women at the front desk were lovely and very helpful. I paid cash and got a discount for that so day pass ended up being $20. You have to leave by midnight or else have to pay overnight fee. The one major downside was the smell. There was a weird smell in the locker room but not unbearable. What was unbearable for me was the smell of the hot tubs. I smelled it a little when I went in but when I got out and walked away, I reeked of what smelled like the worst BO imaginable. Nothing I have smelled before. I quickly showered and stayed away from the tubs the rest of the night and had a great time. Hot stone bibimbap was delish. Make sure you specify hot stone or you will get the cold dish. My friend got a juice that was yummy. The rooms in the jimjilbang were stunning. Not nearly the scene that Wi Spa is on a Tuesday which was nice but also a little weird feeling! Definitely recommend checking this place out. Im sure it will be crowded one day!

Good spot to relax. Various saunas such as the golden one (obv. Has gold in it on the walls), and the Himalayan pink salt which is my favorite so I highly recommend that one, etc... each with different benefits for the body. Also jacuzzis and 2 pools. Bar, restaurant, massage chairs, and a projector on the wall, with comfy sofas and floor mats to relax. Inside the females area there are lockers, hair dryers, two other saunas and a designated are to bathe korean/japanese style where you can only enter naked, in that area there are 2 jacuzzis, a dry sauna, showers and a cold little pool. When you enter the place you are provided with towels, a shirt and some shorts which you must use at all times in the common areas so basically you cant be walking around in your bathing suit unless ofc if you are inside the womens or males designated locker room/bathroom.

Let me explain this place you pull up you can either park outside or there is a security guard that watch your cars or you can park down in the parking structure sometimes they charge but now lately they have been not been charging.Prce $25 for 8 hrs.Ok so you then go to the elevator you go upstairs to the third floor once you go off of the elevator on the third floor you will feel a sense of serenity. Theres only one way to go once your off a later you go to the reception desk they will ask you with services are you here for it is $25 for 8 hours to enjoy all of the great amenities you will love trust me. I do know if you give an extra $10 you can stay the night over which most people do and get up and go to work from there told her relax not in a crazy state of mind.I do suggest that the US Postal Service workers be mandated to go there at least twice a month. They have a great body scrub which our recommend and the massages there are cheaper than Burke Williams no disrespect Burkes Williams I do not like paying $200 and dont even have half of the amenity Spa Palace offers, plus they have a co-ed section inside there as well. Okay once you have told the reception all the services you would need they would then judge you by your size give you your t-shirt and shorts and the towel and also you have to sign in and get a key bracelet, what is a key bracelet? That will be your money no need to carry cash in your bra or....? But please do bring cash with you the cash or credit card or debit card will remain in your locker. So you put it on your key bracelet you walk to your locker you take your wrist or your arm and you scan your locker the Locker within go from a red light to a green light and open up YouPlay soluble onies inside there including your cash and cell phone its time to relax. You will be in all female all male room you can walk around as pretty as you want once you exit through those other doors you may want to have on that uniform. It is co-ed from that exit door on out. You walk out and see to massage chairs that massage from your feet to your head that is only thing that will take cash its a $1 for I believe 3 minutes you can peek your head and all the rooms they have a gold room,Himalayan salt room, a clay ballroom, quiet room,a cold room a kids room with a tv inside. There is also a big huge wall and the TV on are some people take their do tablets and hang out there quietly they have Matts and small pillows for you to lay comfortably there is also a food area that is right there they have opened up your menu quite a bit. They now serve alcohol upstairs which is a great bonus when you bring your kids.🀣 for all the people like to eat healthy there is some nice gray healthy smoothies that are there they have soda juice chips candy and much more. Okay so lets go to the door you open the door you can go outside down to the beautiful garden area which will lead you to the pool where if you go in for the club they have spinning lights theres a bar there they have a limited food downstairs that pool is room temperature they have Jacuzzis and he also another pool that has massaging water heads that massage you like no other ladies and gentle enjoy by yourself or with your family. Please remind full that when you are checking out you have to give them your key bracelet and they will give you your balance that you owe and you then pay at the end thank you.

Wanted to try something new. But this place is old, run down, and not worth the price. Saunas are nice but massage rooms seem like a creepy basement. Check in staff wasn’t necessarily rude but not the nice greeting you expect coming into a spa. Kinda had the attitude of why are you here. I saw the review from someone accusing them of discrimination and I definitely see that happening. (POC this place is not for us)Wouldn’t recommend. Just go to massage envy for a great ambiance

Upon entering, the employee saw me with a bottle of water and I was told not to bring in. They stopped providing a water cooler and became mean and greedy. Inside the woman spa, there are women wearing a bathing suits and not washing their private parts before entering the hot tub, so the water looks murky and smells bad and really disgusting. Also some of them are bringing their iPad and the cell phones inside the hot tub area and playing music loud but the employee won’t say anything. Also at the restaurant, I ordered a $30 Kalbi and to my surprise, it didn’t come with any side dish. ( see the photo ) I complained about it and was told that they discontinued it. The owner’s excuse was, it costs him to throw a trash, so he wants to eliminate the waste and save money by not providing any side dishes. This place used to be great but now it’s downgraded and really sad. I’d take my business to elsewhere.

I’ve been going here for years and it’s been my favorite Korean spa. Out of all the ones I’ve tried and I always bring lots of friends here and promote it. But this last time I had scheduled a massage for Mother’s Day weekend and they asked me for my card info to be able to make the reservation, which I’ve never had ANY of those types of spas do including Spa Palace. I asked multiple times before giving my card to confirm that they would NOT charge my card. I ended up cancelling my appointment well before the time as I couldn’t afford it unfortunately. The guy I talked to I asked him if my card would be charged and he said no, and confirmed the appointment was cancelled.Sure enough my card got charged $100!!When I called in and talk to the receptionist about it, she showed little interest in handling the matter, and just referred me to the manager who will be in in two or three days and to check back with them. I left my phone number for the manager to call me and never heard back. I just expect way more for them after being a long-term customer and for them to care enough to resolve the issue. Definitely be cautious about giving your card information for booking services ahead of time unless you don’t care about possibly being charged if you have to cancel or change your appointment..Sidenote, no, they never once mentioned anything about charging my card if I canceled the appointment or if I didn’t cancel it X amount of time before hand in advance

The men’s steam room and sauna is often hardly hot. They only turn it to an acceptable temperature when there are enough complaints, evidently. If I wasn’t frustrated about this detail, I would have more positive things to say, but I cannot get this out of my experience. 2/10 times it has been an ok temperatureWhen I called in advance to make sure steam room was hot, the evening I went, Sept 20th, the woman got upset with me and hung up. When I arrived I asked if I could check to see if steam was hot, no, was the answer : you get what you get. I was told that I couldnt enter the Spa with a bag. I was puzzled, because I never had an issue in the past. The worker tried to frighten me by threatening to call security.Smh, his behavior was absolutely unacceptable. Attempting to call security on an African-American woman trying to go to the spa. However, Caucasian people were allowed to enter the Spa with bags. I just found out that almost 2 months after I visited this establishment, someone used my debit card at an AM/PM ATM. What’s odd, ATM is still in my possession and this SPA requires payment only in form of cash/ debit. I find this highly coincidental when I never used the card and I doubt if it wasn’t for my bank calling and leaving me a message. I would love to get hold of the data of everyone who have used their debit card here to see if they have been hacked as I was or is it coincidence??? If you wish to visit this establishment, please monitor your debit card to see if someone mysteriously uses it later when your guard is down.

After 45 minutes of visiting the five hot and cold rooms tried to get downstairs to the open jacuzzi and could not. The only jacuzzis available were in the mens bathroom and it was for naked people only. My teenage sons were a bit uncomfortable as was i. So we skipped it. When I spoke to the woman in charge I told her I was disappointed at paying $30 per person for very little to do. I requested perhaps they could refund half for the 1 hour we spent. She said no and too bad. I requested passes to come back when the pool and jacuzzi downstairs were finally open and was told no go - Since full disclosure is on the website about the state of the repairs and lack of services was apparently posted Unfortunately I used my cell phone to Google the place and attend the place. So needless to say I wont be going back to this place.

I only went to show the security guard how quickly he could be humbled. He first told me and my friend to leave the parking lot we walked into for five seconds so I could check if someone I knew was already there who cones here a lot. We werent even planning on going inside or staying long, we were there about 30 seconds later before we started walking out as he comes to tell us to leave the property. He had the rudest attitude as we politely explained our presence and said we were on our way out. It was a near empty parking lot, at 8pm. But what if we were guests for a planned or random visit? His attitude was mostly because my friend has a very unique look and is trans; he judged off of their appearance and perceived them to be some type of criminal or troublemaker (punk rocker look). Which is not the case at all, and money speaks louder than appearances. We left, but I was taken back at how he treated my trans friend so I said no were going in now, random spa trip on me! Just to show him we could because it hurt me seeing how he hurt my friend. My trans friend is used to this, but me, I cant stand bullies. We went back and as we tried to walk in the building, he asks us if we both have Drivers IDS to get into spa? Weird. I had mine on me, but my friend did not have theirs as this visit was unanticipated. He then told us we couldnt go inside without ID. So I called the manager, who told me that it would be ok if friend signed a waiver. After I got the approval by the phone, we again go back and the security again tried to stop us saying we werent allowed in but we proceeded to walk in anyways, as we had permission. I told him I would make the receptionist aware of how rude he was to potential guests. He needs an attitude check badly. He followed us into the spa and proceeded to tell the receptionist that we couldnt go in because we dont have IDs. The receptionist made some calls to the manager whom I spoke with and security guard seemed mad (as he should) that we were allowed in. I actually wish I didnt go because I hate giving my money to places with rude staff (guard) but I let my pride get the best of me. I hate to see people being judged in 2023. The spa itself was very underwhelming with only 4 different spa rooms, the Wii spa offers is better value for your money, more variety, and polite staff. The manager herself seemed kind of cold but I think that is just her natural disposition and wasnt anything personal. I appreciated that she was able to work around my friends lack of ID (hes 28 btw) to let us enjoy the spa. It was my friends first time at the spa, and we enjoyed the visit. As well my friend being trans, whos drivers license lists their sex as female, was pretty upset that the management was not willing to let them use the womans shower. The management stated that it was for legality reasons since my friend didnt have their ID and only signed a waiver, but somehow I feel thats not completely the truth and couldve been mitigated for. Even at planet fitness gym trans use the female facilities, and from what I recall, there is no specific clause in the membership agreement that address this protocol specifically. So Im not sure if they have even have a clause in whatever paperwork they normally use for IDs vs. waivers that address where trans can shower... which is why its typically at the discretion of the management in most cases. My friend did not shower at first, but later felt okay doing so as people left and they felt more comfortable. My friends demeanor and appearance (which is out there) you can clearly tell is trans individual, there were not many females here at this time either, and I doubt they wouldve minded. The womans shower was empty when I used it anyways. But we still enjoyed the visit, and its an okay facility I suppose worth a visit.

The floor everywhere is cold. It was a bit dirty both in shower, hot tub and hair drying area even though there were very few people. I’d give this visit a 3.5 for a few reasons.1. It’s advertised as a 24 hour spa but there are a few caveats. We entered the spa at 6pm and was β€œkicked out” around 11pm so we can re-check into the spa if we want to stay the night. We were given the option to leave at 2am for $15 or 11am next day for $45. Normally at these jimjilbang your entrance fee is good for 24 hours but if you want to stay overnight there’s a small fee to stay the night. I guess there’s a very small percentage that would want check in after 11pm and pay $45 just to stay the night. The front desk guy was nice enough to give us a discount. There’s also a special going on that we forgot to use, 20% off single massage service.2. The restaurant and snack bar opens at 11am and closes by 10pm. These are pretty short hours but I can see why due to the lack of customers. Then again we were there on a Monday night on purpose to avoid crowds of people. We were expecting longer hours at least for the snack bar since the entire common area felt like a sauna.3. You cannot go in and out of the facility, which is acceptable if it was truly 24 hours. So in this sense, if you checked in between 8-11 you’re paying for 3 hours of spa time, it’s probably slightly cheaper?4. It was so hot in the common area that we could barely sleep. Given that we are sleeping on a thin mat on the floor the temperature in the common area should at least be a comfortable temperature. They gave guests staying overnight a blanket but it was so hot we didn’t really need it. Also, the common area was still a bit bright for sleeping.5. The massage was SUPERB and we would go back just for that. Again there’s currently a 20% off special going on. It’s $180 for a 80 mins massage. This is a 5 star on its own. It’s a bit pricey but the entrance spa fee is included in the service. Day pass is $30 and overnight pass is $45.Averaged out our experience we gave it a 3.5.

I was going to be in the area waiting for awhile so I thought let me find a good massage place to head to while I wait, as I was parked looking at the prices, I notice an employee and what I can assume is the security pointing at my car and making threats to tow my car, cursing, and making fun of me for parking here. I don’t like judging a book by its cover but if this is how I was being treated just in the parking lot I can’t imagine how I would be treated inside.

The tub temperature is low, and Sauna and steam room are both low tempature as well. And we came to the restaurant and ordered soup, after we ordered employee aske me an extra charge for rice.....Any Korean restaurant serves rice with soup, on top of that soup was not tasty at all. Ive never experienced such a low quality Korean soup at Korean Spa... Thats the reason there is not much of customeres, even its Saturday. Only a good point is not busy at all. So, if you do not plan to eat and lukewarm tub, maybe its the best spot for you. Btw, Im not gonna use here never again.

Just throw that cellphone in the locker and spend all day at this spa. One tip, bring an isolated water bottle. They have water for sale but if you want it to stay cold bring a thermos, to stay hydrated. You will sweat everything Out and feel amazing. Go for the body scrub, you will feel great after. For me spa experiences are generally quiet, relaxing and calming. This was nothing like that at all. The women’s treatment room had no privacy, bright flourescent lights, no music, the treatment table was covered in thick plastic and the stall, yes stall, had no curtain or door so I was lying there naked (required) by the treatment technician for anyone walking down the hallway to see. The technician dumped hot water on me with a large bucket, scrubbed my top 100 layers of skin off aggressively and abrasively. At check in they give you a β€œuniform” to wear if you are in the coed area which was akin to a 7th grade gym uniform (gym shorts and tshirt) and smelled like used clothes too. This was not the spa experience they make it out to be and the photos don’t represent the place at all. We had to go through a subway like turnstile to go into the spa and put a card in it to leave. This was not at all as presented on their website or what you would expect from a spa.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would without a doubt. Reason being is because I came with my brother who is over the age of 18, and the front desk lady was saying that my brother was under age, when it clearly said on the ID that his age was 18 in the year 2020 and refusing to let us in. Once we said we will take our business elsewhere she said she agreed to let us in and saying that if we cause any trouble (which all we wanted to do was go into the jacuzzi and relax after the gym) we will be kicked out Immediately without giving us refunds. The refund is not the issue, the issue is that we have been long time customers and have been let in without a problem, and never caused a problem nor a scene, and always respected the spa and everyone in it. I am sad to say that this spa is truly falling apart, and I will never step foot back into this spa nor will I recommend going unless u wanna be racially discriminated because of our last name, and what we look like.

This place is pretty nice. It cost $25, and they provide clothes when asking for it. The locker rooms are separated by men and women and there is a pretty good calm to the place. They do not have mud bath but do offer massage when you set an appointment and have 6 different sauna rooms. The lockers they provide is good to put your stuff in and they provide wrist bands that work like NFC. With the pool, They require you wear a cap on your head but not for the Jacuzzis. Its a place you would enjoy here and there but not everyday of the week.Just be careful with how much you spend, me and my wife left and realized we spent about $70 with the cost of entrance. The wrist bands also act as a charge card but you just wave the band for everything you buy because they do sell drinks, beer, ice cream, and they even have a restaurant. Things add up fast when you exit because they make sure they check your wrist bands to see if any charges been made to it then you pay with your card or cash. The wrist band is NOT linked to your credit card, it just keeps a record for everything you buy. Also keep an eye on the time. If you go there you will notice there is no clock. Me and my wife went there at 5pm and by the time we left it was already 8:30pm! We didnt bring our phones with us, as we didnt want to carry it through out the place, so we left it in the locker..the time goes by fast and the fact they have a restaurant and open 24 hours, it shows they want you to spend money lol...it is nice and peaceful and not so crowded, but just watch the clock and your wallet.

Disorganized and strict. I use this facility to sleep mostly. If you choose to sleep here you have to scramble to find a sleeping mat on which to lie (about a half an inch in thickness). These mats are not kept in any one central location, but rather spread around and left where someone has used them last - which leads me to believe they do not get cleaned often. Often times the mats are hoarded and you will see them stacked five at a time while someone sleeps on them; explaining why at times they can be extremely scarce. If you choose to sleep during the day, blankets are not provided. Like the mats, if you manage to find a dirty one lying around, the barely three feet of coverage that it offers will leave you wanting.Overall, I have used this facility many times. If you come here I suggest taking advantage if the pool and saunas. Generally speaking the facilities are kept clean, but with no one inside the spa to inforce the rules many things are quickly abused and the staff do not care to remedy the situation.

For myself, I somewhat expect to run into difficulties, and am willing to put up with being forced to utilized facilities that are designed for the gender which I fell discomfort being around. My mom on the other hand should not be discriminated against due to the uncontrollable fact that she is visually impaired. The receptionist, A. Kim, would not me to accompany her into the womens locker room and help her change into the required uniform. Not only would they not let me enter with her, but they wouldnt even allow me to bring her to the entrance where I would wait until she got ready on her own. The count even manage to treat her with the minimal level of respect that all humans deserve, and allow her to exercise the independence she has training in, and attempt to make her way around by herself. We were also refused to be provided with the reasonable accommodation requested to have any staff member guide her themselves, as legally required of them via federal ADA laws. I asked to speak with a manager before leaving, but I was informed that there wasnt one present on the property at that time, and was expected to arrive sometime this afternoon. This was supposed to be a belated Mothers Day celebration where we could bond with each other in a new way, as well as be able to attain a small amount of relief for our bodies from the constant, extreme pain that our disabilities cause us daily. The unprovoked hatred expressed toward my mother and myself through this womans actions deeply hurt me and had me return home feeling defeated and in tears. My plans to try to honor my mother for her 24 years of complete selfless devotion and love she provides was completely ruined.

In itself, I liked this place, I took a body scrub massage, I want to say that the massage itself did not bring me pleasure because too much oil is poured and it looks like not a massage, but an ordinary slide, the mitten of which they make the scrub has already been used before me and it was painful for my skin, the table on which I was lying is not possible to stinked of delight that did not allow me to fully relax the same masseuse when, lets say, she glided on me, several times my hands slipped and hit my chin, its terribly unpleasant and even It hurt in some places, I couldnt wait for these 70 minutes of pleasure to end! At the endIshe iswas put on a smelly towel on my head that smelled like a table on which I was lying! The food I ordered was so fat that I felt sick after... I gave birth to a jacuzzi and a steam room ..

I visited today as a birthday trip from my friend. I got a Swedish massage. Then we went to the Himalayan room. In there is where I realized I cant go to hell. I started reevaluating my life immediately. Then we went to ANOTHER hot room. I think my friend was sending me subliminal messages. Then to the ice room. Then to the jacuzzi where you are supposed to be naked. But we had our bathing suits on.i will definitely go back.

I was coming there and staying overnight for half a dozen times probably. Its newer and cleaner than Wi Spa, but seems to me things are going on decline there. In the beginning you could take as many towels as necessary, now they give only two. They dont care about people talking loudly during night time. They used to have massage therapists late night and now they dont. So its still good, but I dont know where theyll come in a year from now.

Day Pass($25): Had a good experience wasnt too crowded, but the place wasnt idle either. We hit the underground pool (swimsuits) and the co-ed sauna rooms (35Β°, 130Β°,140Β°,191Β° salt room, and hot beaded room) all were nice! For co-ed areas, youre required to wear their provided outfits. They provide you a locker and a wristlet/key thats also used for food transactions in house. Note that you cannot bring outside food into the spa! Overall, a good place to go with your friends!Night Pass ($35): I went to spend the night since it was a cheaper alternative stay to other things in town and I wanted to enjoy the saunas again. I chose this place particularly because we were traveling with some kids and a big group in general and this place wasnt as busy as other spas in town. The night was quiet and not as busy (even for a Saturday night) and thats something I was looking for. Woke up early (6:15ish) to hit the steam room, take a dip in the jaccuzi and shower all in the womens locker room with no one around (no private area and no clothes allowed, not even their provided ones).

My significant other and I had decided to spend some well saved money on a couple massage package and will never return again. To start, whenever we got laid down the therapists gave us no privacy in striping our garments and on top of that they left the full door open so we had to hear some girl on the telephone as well as heard some people watching tv. Then when my significant other asked to closed the door, they finally did, and gave us some attitude. My boyfriend did not receive a full body massage and when it was over we felt it was a waste of money compared to the others. The least we could do was not tip the therapists for their poor work and rude attitude. When we confronted the front desk after this situation they said we needed to let them know 10 minutes after the massage VERY INAPPROPRIATE ! thats all they said. they took our name and number but we never heard from them again and no attempt to contact was made. Horrible experience and recommend that if you choose to get a message, there could be a 50/50 coin toss as to if it it will be worth it. I STRONGLY suggest spending your money somewhere that will show better customer service and care. This personally was a waste of money as well as an unprofessional experience. Save your money and go somewhere else. We will not be recommending this to anyone who asks about this place. Thanks!

Great location and easy access from LA down town. It seems not well advertised since not many people are there no matter when weekday or weekend, but this is very spacious open area with warm (heated) flower where you can enjoy TV on individual sofa (~30 of them) or lay down on cushioned mat. You can order food to enjoy either in above mentioned open space or table/chair space located near counter where you order your food (toward opposite side of entrance). They have 4 different type of dry sauna in common area, and I was told there are additional sauna for woman only. Three jetted water tub with differently temperature and one dry sauna and steam sauna in shower facility. There are swimming pool on lower level.

I went here solely for the saunas, but all that it offers without having to pay more and considering the amount of time youre given to be there just for entry is so worth it. The third floor is all the hot and cold saunas and relaxation areas. The first floor has a pool area. Its to die for. Definitely try this place. Also if you want to swim you need to have your own bathing suit. So make sure you bring that, and flip flops because youll either be in your shoes or barefoot the whole time. The Himalayan Salt sauna is the hottest, so if you go in there, make sure you fast walk faster than youve ever done before to one of the towels on the rocks. That ground will burn you unless you have flip flops. Enjoy!

It was underwhelming to say the least. Compared to its competitor, it is not even comparable. First off, my wifes massage was scheduled for 80 minutes but was cut to 50 minutes because when you make your appointment online it doesnt actually transfer in the system. So that was disappointing..The saunas themselves were not hot. Random children, some that seem to belong to employees, roamed alone from one place to another.Overall, Its not a comfortable place to relax and meditate. The parking also felt unsafe as its in an ungated lot and unsupervised with no security in a densely populated neighborhood. The forest sauna is a room with pleather chairs and fake plastic plants.. hahaha. At least that was entertaining. On the bright side, it was virtually empty on a Sunday morning except for the random unsupervised children.

Don’t go here. I had my wallet stolen and the staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. Upon speaking with them, I learned they had a thief on premises the day my wallet was stolen and someone else had a piece of property stolen. THAT item was returned, the theif banned, but they will not help with the security of my wallet. I spoke to the manager after the front desk girl was incredibly unhelpful. The manager proceeded to cut me off three times saying β€œthe thief was banned” without letting me finish my statement that they should have warned clients that things were stolen that day and the clients should ensure all items of theirs was secure. The manager also yelled and hung up on me. When I called back immediately, the front desk girl proceeded to pretend the manager was not on site. When I called her out on her bs, she got hostile and refused to transfer me. She then elevated her voice to speak over me and I just hung up frustrated. I have filed a police report, reported this location to the BBB, and highly DO NOT recommend this place if you want your valuables secured without having to worry about them stolen during your treatments.

So this place is discriminatory and rude. Allow to me explain. I called to book an appointment for two massages. Got that booked but then had to call back and cancel one. When I first called I told them one person was blind and they stated there would be no issue. They asked for my credit card information and I asked why, they stated it was just to hold the appointment. When I called back to cancel one massage they told me that there would be a 50% charge to my card. I explained that I was not told this and I was asked who took my appointment, I stated it was Norma. I could hear the gentleman ask Norma why I was not told, when he came back on the phone I was told as a one time courtesy there would be no charge. I don’t see this as a courtesy, as I was not told. When we arrive to the spa and check in, I am immediately informed that my blind friend cannot enter. I believe the person telling me this is the same person on the phone since we headed there right after the call. He would not give me his name and did not identify himself. The gentleman placed a call to someone and began to speak in Korean, the call lasted for a few minutes, then we were again informed that he could not come in or get a massage. I asked why my friend could not go in as we have been here many times before for massages and use of the facilities and I informed Norma that he was blind. I was told β€œhis kind” cannot come in here as he cannot understand instructions. At this point my friend is deeply insulted and hurt, and all this is taking place in the lobby in front of other people. I explained I would be with him the whole time so he will not be alone. Then we were explained he cannot receive a massage because the masseuse cannot care for him and again he cannot understand instructions. At this point my friend speaks up and states how again he has been there before and he is blind not inept, he can understand instructions with no issues and he can care for himself. The gentleman then states β€œhis kind” cannot do what the masseuse may ask of him or know how to move on the table. I then asked why was I not told this over the phone instead of having to be here and be humiliated in front of everyone. There was no answer except for my friend cannot come in or get a massage. At this point my friend is angered and just wants to leave, and so we do.As we are heading home after about 45 minutes we get a call from the spa and it is Norma. She is calling to say my friend can come back and get a massage now if he wants and there will be no issues. I explained to Norma how hurt, insulted, and humiliated my friend is and I get silence. Then she says sorry but you can come back and get a massage if you want. No formal apology or offer to compensate for the action taken, simply sorry and come back.I say stay away from this place because of how the treat the disabled and the practice of deception. They have no manners, tact, or compassion towards the disabled or person. They treated my friend with nothing but disrespect and contempt simply for being blind.

I booked 2 massages on the phone for me and my mom. The lady didnt know their prices and asked for $20 more for each compared to their website. After we came to understanding about the price we went for the massage and it turned out that its only booked for one person and the other one has to do it 40 min later. We had to cancel them and I had payed a babysitter for the time of the massage. On top of that we didnt know that there is a valet parking and its only cash. So I had to go and look for an ATM machine. So $50 for baby sitter and no massage foe me and my mom :))) What a a great experience!

Poor treatment looses faithful customers of five years. We want people to know in the same way that we told everyone years ago how great the spa was that it now sucks! We are a group of 6 women from Denver who fly in to have a some relaxation at the Spa Palace for the last 5 years. The spa is beautiful and treatments should be enjoyably like in our past visits but thats not happening. We checked in and spent the night and found out the pool was closed, ventilation turned off, making the entire building hot and stuffy. We woke up several times during the night hot and sweaty. Morning was no reprieve, the restaurants did not open untill 10 and we were starving and wishing for a cup of coffee. We only found nourishment after checking out and going to lunch. Diabetics be ware!My 70 minutes scrub, massage, shampoo and face mask was such a disappointment. I was scrubbed thoroughly, rubbed with oil, make applied andthe shampoo was a joke, only to be repeated in the shower by me.My masseuse did not speak English and she just hit me on the arm when telling me to roll over or just punching me toward the shower. I never received a massage only application of oil.Lastly, my 70 minute service was only 60 minutes. When I complained to the front desk about my service I was told this is nothing new and they cannot give out managements name. So, I guess that means no one cares enough to respond. The quality of service has diminished over the years and now management could care less. Well, I guess we will just have to take our girls weekends to Las Vegas from now on. Dont waste you money here.
