I recently visited Bourbon and Blush for a full-body massage and a manicure, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The ambiance was incredibly relaxing, with soothing music and a beautifully designed interior that immediately put me at ease. My massage therapist was professional and attentive, ensuring that I was comfortable throughout the session. The manicure was equally delightful, and did an excellent job—my nails have never looked better!The prices were reasonable, especially considering the high level of service and the quality of the products used.

What a wonderful experience we had at this beautiful spa. We were visiting Louisville, and were delighted to find such an elegant spa to get our nails done. From the moment we walked in, we were treated so well, even offered a cup of coffee! The decor is so elegant -- it felt like we could be in Europe! Your staff were so sweet and they did a great job. Beautiful place, love that it’s walking distance from my apartment downtown. I got the massage and brow tint for my birthday. The massage wasn’t bad. I was a little disappointed in the brow tint. The lady didn’t use measurements and one brow came out bigger than the other. I asked if she could redo the smaller brow and they’re around the same size now but the lines aren’t neat. It would’ve came out nicer if she used a stencil or something. She kept telling me the tint fades as I wash my face (as if to imply the unevenness doesn’t matter) but I’m going out tonight for my birthday and wanted it to look nice for tonight. I still left her a 20% tip but I don’t recommend the brow tint service. The last photo is how my brows looked when I got them done somewhere else, this is the photo I showed her for reference of what I wanted it to look like. This would make a funny what I asked for vs what I got meme lol. I would go back, just not for this service.

Great customer service. I was in town on a business trip and needed a haircut. They were very accommodating. It was last minute and they actually stayed open late for me. They did a great job Im very pleased with my haircut. I also want to add the place is gorgeous. It really gives me the feel of Louisville,down to the bourbon barrel staves that are on the wall great touch.Highly recommend the place

I was treating my companion to her first-ever pedi and facial. I didn’t think to read reviews until I was waiting there, but I had high hopes it would go well. Everyone was very friendly, so I feel awful about this, but I have to say I’m disappointed in the end result. I’ve never had my nails, after an expensive pedi, look like this. The bourbon scrub was wonderful, but there wasn’t really a foot massage, (and whatever was supposed to be included as part of the facial wasn’t either). My nails aren’t evenly trimmed, as shown in the pictures, and some of the buffing wasn’t completed, nor was the cuticle fully cleaned, so I’ll be doing that myself tonight when I’m home. For over $70 + tip, which is the most I’ve ever spent, I thought I’d get the best. I hope more attention to trimming and filing is paid next time. The facial itself was nice, but usually there’s a neck/shoulder massage for a little, and that didn’t happen for me either. My companion received hers, thank goodness, and loved it. Her pedi was good. I’m just disappointed in my own experience. Overall, it has a lovely ambiance and very kind staff.

I used the spa for my sisters 40th birthday party we had an amazing time not 1 complaint we got massages facials manicures pedicures and full body treatments and they were excellent staff was very nice and professional. I was very pleased the owner Melissa was awesome and allowed me to book on A-day that normally people would not book and I really appreciate it. They made my sisters day even more special.everything was Excellent and I would highly recommend if you have a big group they do have areas for a group activity which I did list pictures everything was amazing we were so relaxed and it was awesome!Thank you xhale spa staff you rock!!!

I’ve been to a lot of nail salons and have had a ton of blowouts. My feedback is for the owner. While your team was super friendly — the quality of work needs significant improvement. In this situation, my pedicure and manicure were not done well as you can see from the photos, but it also took twice as long as it should have. So much so that my blowout was rushed in the end, and I would not even call it a blowout. I don’t know if it was due to the overages in time, but it really ruined my experience. So much so that I became to the point of tears. I didn’t have a back up plan.I was planning to have my hair done for a wedding and instead I should’ve just blow dried it at home on my own. It was supposed to be curled and instead they were so rushed for time due to the poor time management and inexperience of the staff doing my nails that it was rushed and they kept commenting on how they couldn’t get my hair dry. Next time I will definitely opt for a traditional blowout bar. I’ll also note that the owner did only charge me for the pedicure I guess which was $90? Very expensive for a pedicure.

Alright. I have given this place 1 week to call me and now Im writing my review since they never called me.My mom and I were having a much needed girls day after we did yard work for the entire week. My mom got a facial and I got a massage. I found this place on Google and was impressed by the inside of this place and the reviews online. Very cute but the stairs are extremely dark and my mom fell going up them. Off to a bad start as she had blood going down her shin. We never got the bandaid she asked for either.We got dressed in our robes and filled out paperwork. I was called to go get my massage while my mom waited 20 minutes for her person to come get her for her facial even though we had the same appointment times.My Make It Neat massage was the worst one Ive received in my life and Ive had several over the years. I wish I was over exaggerating on how terrible it was. She didnt speak English and had no idea what I was saying to her. The lady kept sighing very loudly and tapped her foot through the entire massage. There was ZERO pressure on the message the entire time even after I asked her for more pressure. It felt like she was just barely touching me. It was enough just to spread in the lotion and the oils. She spent majority of the time on my back when I told her my feet were the focus point as they hurt the most. She spent maybe a total of 2 minutes on my feet literally using 1 finger to just put lotion on my feet. I asked her if there was an issue as I just had a pedicure the day before and she said no is okay? I told her my feet hurt since Ive been doing yard work for the past week. I thought there would be more of feet than back massage. As soon as she was done 2 minutes with my feet she said Time get up get dressed. We all done. I couldnt be more relieved that she was done as the last song I heard was flowing water.... thats not very relaxing trying to think of not peeing during a relaxing massage but instead I had a Very disappointing massage. Now I have to find another place to do a massage properly because this $115 was NOT worth it at all. I could have done this myself at home for free of what she did.The description for MAKE IT NEAT was: Relax and unwind with our Swedish massage. This massage incorporates long flowing strokes designed to relieve muscle tension, increase circulation, and provide deep relaxation. You may customize your Swedish massage with signature enhancement.This was the farthest of things from what I received. Does not go by what it says online.My mother got an Age Smart Facial.She enjoyed it but her face was so oiled up she could barely move her face after. She enjoyed having her head, arms, hands, and legs massaged during her facial. Not sure if it was worth $165 but she enjoyed hers at least.I will not be back to this so called spa. If they want to survive downtown then they need to hire people who do their jobs exceptionally.

I bought my wife a Gift Card for a message. The owner told me the amount which would have covered the cost entirely. When she went in, the aesthetics were great and inviting. The owner or manager ignored her at first to focus on an interview. When she went up to get her message, she stated it was incredibly hot up there. There was a language barrier between her and the masseuse. After she concluded, she gave her the GC. They then asked her for an extra $60. Thats $180 for a 1hr massage. Had I known that I would have gone elsewhere where its typically $1 a minute. Its ok, but I would seek other places going forward.

My pedicure and my hair cut only took 4 hours.I told the girl how i wanted my hair and showed her pictures, she cut it way too short not even close to what i asked and did not even asked how i normally style it, i couldnt be more unhappy with the result.I paid the most expensive pedí available with hot towels and massageBut I got a wet towel and a 30sec massage.I wasnt charge for the hair but it was very upsetting when they asked for tips.I had to paid 4 hrs of parking

I stayed in Kentucky for a few days and I was looking for a salon. To my luck they had an opening and wow was I impressed with their place. Its a full salon and ideal for a couples massage. So wish I would of planned a full day instead.I went in for a cut and to cover the wisers and after added highlightsWOWZERS!!! Absolutely love my hair. If Im ever in town I will definitely come back for a full day.Thank you Sara for my beautiful hair.

Wonderful experience.As I checked in with I can’t remember her name, she had a cute outfit with stripped socks, it was personable and professional. Locker room was very clean with REAL eucalyptus on the showers and the robe was extra bonus. Zahra, my masseuse was incredible and I can’t recommend her enough she was a 5++++.What a way to end my trip to Kentucky in such a delightful and positive way.

Reached out to the owner when my haircut left me with chopped up bangs. The stylist was nice however I had to stop her from continuing to take off length. She just unfortunately did not understand what curtain bangs meant. Now I have two chunks of short hair on my forehead. Honestly so bad I cried when I left the salon. I tried my best to communicate my dissatisfaction and humiliation to the owner and was told my hair didn’t look like that when I left the salon and that footage could be pulled… wow. Zero stars for bad business practice and even more disappointment in humanity. If you go here, I hope you trust your stylist.

Got a couples massage here and was very impressed with the atmosphere and quality of staff. Very attentive and provided a wide range of options to customize the massage experience. A lot of hard work went into curating our unforgettable experience.

The photos speak for themselves! Audra Hagan took wonderful care of me. I was able to get away for only 1 full day; as a mom of four who owns a business etc, this NEVER happens! Time with Audra was time and money well spent. She not only did an excellent job in making my hair AMAZING, but she was kind and listened and responded to my heart as I shared my stories with her❤ Audra is a true artist. She had a vision and saw me through from start to finish, even when she could have stepped away and allowed someone else to finish me up.Thank you for the spruce up, Audra! If I ever make it near Louisville again, youll be my first call!

Aesthetic is nice and staff greeting went well. I went for a specialty updo. My tip for the other ladies who do not have long flowing locks. Check to make sure your stylist can work with shorter hair or at least shoulder length or shorter. After two attempts at a trendy loose updo (which can be done by the way) I left due to time constraint. When I asked the stylist to redo the first attempt I was pretty much told it was my fault it wasn’t what I was looking for because I asked for “long hair” updo style. Truth is I showed the stylist multiple examples of the look I was going for and she just wasn’t able to make it happen. This company can definitely work on customer recovery and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The worst blow out experience I’ve ever had. My back was completely drenched during the wash, which was cold water only, after asking for warm water. It was clear the stylist did not have much practice if any at all doing a blow out.

I had a customized facial and all over body exfoliating. Heather did both and gave me nothing less than perfection 🙌 heather is amazing at what she does. My skin looked better immediately after services and she got me in and done on time. If you want your skin to look and feel radiant then definitely schedule with heather. The salon also uses top rated salon grade products which is a big deal for me.

My partner and I treated ourselves to a spa day for our 10th anniversary. We did a mud wrap and couples massage. Stephanie was amazing! She greeted us and walked us through the process. We felt pampered the whole time we were there! My partner loved his mud wrap experience from Heather, and my massage by Kayla was the best one I have ever had!!We enjoyed the ambiance of the whole place, and especially the carriage house for the couples massage.Did not realize when I signed up for all the extras in the massage (paraffin treatment, bourbon foot scrub) that those would be unnecessary after the mud wrap, and a little tender! Paraffin treatment was not a dip, but a thin coating, and not really worth the extra price, in my opinion.I think maybe having a separate area for people who are eating meals would have been nice, as the smells of another couples takeout meal did not mix with the relaxing smells of the spa experience.Overall an amazing relaxing experience, and looking forward to our next time!

My manicure is beautiful! They somehow had the perfect color to match the dress I am wearing to a wedding tomorrow. Maria C was METICULOUS which is amazing in a manicure. Made sure I was happy with the shape of each nail, ensured the colors reached the edges, and the cuticle trim was the best Id ever experienced. Couldnt feel a thing, yet the results are unbelievable. Would absolutely return!

The price is very expensive, and they also do not clean the oil from the body after finishing, and they also tell you to pay a 20% tip. I hate this behavior, so I will not come back here again.

This space is stunning, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The massage therapist are very experienced and so sweet.

I had a mud wrap and bourbon foot scrub by Yajaira. It was such a wonderful experience from the moment I was greeted to when I left. Yajaira was so skilled, kind and respectful. I will definitely make another appt when I return to Louisville again. A truly lovely experience.

I had a surprise spa visit for my birthday that included: 50 min massage, manicure and pedicure. The massage was suppose to be deep tissue as I have a lot of stiffness and discomfort in my neck and shoulders. The massage was very relaxing but I didn’t feel like my needs were met. The manicure was very basic, no hand massage and I paid extra for a polish that was suppose to last 2 weeks without chipping or peeling well they lasted 2 days and are chipping. Then the pedicure very basic, just massages lotion enough to rub it in legs or feet and you can see below she filed and pushed my cuticles so hard I was bleeding. I guess for $500 my expectations were higher for this place. Very disappointed 😔

We had a great experience here for massages and facials. They were able to accommodate our small group on a weekend and we had a great time. Heather did a fabulous job on my facial and we will be back!!

This place is absolutely horrible and overpriced. We booked 2 mani/pedis and 2 full body massages. They don’t have professional salon equipment to give professional manicures and pedicures. I have the same basic Walgreens tools at home. The technician that did my mani/pedi had ghetto long claw nails which prevented her from doing a good foot massage and a good pedicure. She didn’t even bring out water to soak my nails. I had to tell her. The polish was jacked up and literally came off my daughter’s nails the next day. My polish was not even on my nails neatly. They sprayed some bootleg quick dry on my nails. The technicians were nice but clearly this people are amateurs. I was so upset when I left after paying over $350, I had to come back and the manager polished my nails and my daughter’s toes over. That goodness for the manager Tiffany. She did take one on the manicures off the bill but it was still very expensive and definitely not worth it. Being that salon is at the legendary and high class Galt House, they ought to ashamed of themselves representing the Galt house. I go to my local nail salon and pay $55 for nails and toes and it’s perfect and it last. Moving on to the massages. My daughter’s massage was not good at all and this was her first massage.. The best part of this was Adrian. He did my massage and it was great. In fact he is the best part of the whole ghetto place. This is the only reason I’m giving 1 star is because of Adrian. He is actually a 5 star massage therapist working at a 1 star salon. They need to close or maybe get more people that actually know what they are doing. Right now, they only have one person that’s knows what he is doing.

I received a facial & a prenatal massage. The facilities was beautiful and peaceful. The service was wonderful as well. BUT I was very disappointed that I had to receive my prenatal massage on my side. It was a nice massage but it was also uncomfortable. I was not told prior to my visit that they did not have prenatal tables which has the holes in it to rest your belly in.

The signature facial at this place was worth every penny. It was an unbelievably relaxing and amazing experience. I believe my estheticians name was Kaylee, and she had the softest touch in the world. The bed is warm under you, it includes a little bit of massage therapy; just wow!! I will be coming back. Totally loved the whole experience.

My husband and I came to town for a quick weekend trip and he surprised me with a couples massage. The owner was so inviting and kind. The room was dark, the music was relaxing, and the massage therapists did a wonderful job. For a smaller day spa, they certainly have thought of everything. We would ABSOLUTELY return and highly recommend!

If you want a real spa experience go elsewhere. It doesn’t look like a spa and it doesn’t smell like a spa. It’s a salon that attempts to give massages as well. I traveled from TN to have a relaxing weekend in Louisville. I chose a 50minute Hot Stone Massage. I scheduled for 11am and got there at 10:50am, I didn’t start my massage until at least 11:25am, which put me behind for everything else I had scheduled for the day. The place is cute enough, but it is FAR from a spa atmosphere. The “locker room” is the size of a closet. The sauna was not working, which I was not informed of when I called to book nor is it listed on their website. There was no discount given for the inconvenience. There’s one bathroom to change. There are two showers but tell me where you’d get dressed after a shower? There’s no space so you’d have to get dressed in the toilet area. It is TINY. Not luxury at all. They have used “sanitized” flip flops for you to wear. Some still had a faint hint of brown/yellowing on them. The room for the actual massage was cold. The massage oil/lotion used was cold. There was no good smell in the room. You can’t relax because you hear every truck/bus/car passing by outside and you also hear anyone speaking in the waiting area. There was barely any pressure given by my massage therapist and I did not get a full 50minute massage either. She was done by 12:07pm. I was clearly unhappy. Oh, and they add a 20% gratuity for you. So I paid $180 to waste my time and let some lady rub cold, weird smelling lotion on me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!! (SIDE NOTE:: please read the response from this business and note that they took ZERO responsibility for any actual POINT that I made. They decided to attack me because I choose to review ANY kind of business that I visit and gives bad service. I do not target small businesses. The fact is, this spa is GREATLY LACKING in every area. Don’t attack me. Just DO BETTER SWEETIE!!!)

It was great. The Spa is clean. The messages were great. The massage therapists were great. The items they use in their massage are for sale in the lobby and really reasonably priced.

Where do I start...This place, on their website, indicates Luxury experiences with a layback vibed. There is nothing luxury about this place. Let me tell you about our experience.I found this place online, and it had great reviews. The description of their services were just incredible; so I thought we should give it a try. HUGE WASTE OF MONEY.The three of us scheduled multiple series each (massages, body scrubs, facials, mani, and pedicures). We got there and we were greeted by two staff members. They were going back and forth if they should give is a “rope” or not. Not sure why this was a debate, when we were going to be there multiple hours. Well, they didn’t!I started with the “Bluegrass bourbon body scrub,” on the description it states “enjoy a rejuvenating eucalyptus steam shower.” Well... it is a steam shower, which was nice, but the eucalyptus, is FAKE. Yes, fake eucalyptus in the shower. Then, after the shower, on their website, it states: “The final touch- our ultra- rich nourishing body butter that will leave your skin soft and supple;” well… they must have forgotten this step because neither of us (2 of us got this service) received this portion of the treatment. For some reason we just did not get full services (as described on their website).Then, I was scheduled for a message… well this was not relaxing at all! The staff kept bumping on bed, banging things around, it was not a “luxury message” at all. I requested a deep-tissue message and this staff member was not knowledgeable on this practice at all; even thought on their website it states “our highly trained massage therapists.” This was not the case, I received a basic Swedish massage.This short cutting did not only happen with me. When I saw the other 2 people I went with, I found out that one got 1/2 of the massage because they told her “we are running behind.” The other one I had scheduled waxing services that they never received, and were told that she had to wait about 30-40 minutes because the person was busy. Let me say one additional thing about this, no-one mentioned anything to her; she was the one who asked. Gosh… this is “luxury.” They short-cut every service, they were not organized, and no one every apologies of said anything about the lack of services, changes in our services. The only way for us to gather information on what was happening, was if we brought it up.After my message, one person tells me to sit in their waiting room and relax, and then another says we are waiting downstairs for your pedicure. I head downstairs and have to wait close to 40 minutes for a pedicure, as no staff was available. Not only did I wait for the pedicure, but had to also wait between pedicure and manicure for over to 30 minutes. Beyond that, let me remind you that they told me that we would all (party of 3) get manicures and pedicures together. Not at all the case.Again, they mentioned their staff is “qualified.” Let me tell you that staff member who did my pedicure, was the same person who did my scrub, and also the message of one of the members of my party of 3. What? This is CRAZY… is this what this place considered “luxury”? Literally, each staff members had multiple jobs. Where have you ever seen this? I have never experience this in my life! Don’t they have to be licensed for each job? Don’t they have to receive specific training? I am not kidding or exaggerating when I tell you that the person doing the pedicure was the same person doing the color or highlight on someone else’s hair in the salon. I am so confused…luxury?In short, there is really NOTHING relaxing or luxury about this place!!! This is truly a HUGE waste of money. They have “luxury” prices for basic services and unqualified serve providers. In general this placed offered: poor quality of customer services, poor quality of services, poor quality of staff training, and the list goes on. Go to this place if you want to get ripped off. Seriously… between the 3 of use, we spent over $1500 and it was just the worst experience we have ever had in a “spa.”

Had a facial done before attending a wedding. Was done by Halee and she was amazing! She was very gentle and experienced. I was so happy with the outcome and my experience overall. The spa was very well designed and inviting. The infusion of Louisville’s bourbon culture was very fascinating and different.

CARRIAGE HOUSE COUPLES ROOM, The advertisement, it’s a little bit misleading. This is not a five star Spa for couples. My wife and I were expecting a couples massage similar to what we had gotten in Hawaii, Norway, Rome, for the same price. My wife was extremely hesitant to go because she was afraid that we would not receive a couples massage as good as we had received elsewhere for similar cost. She was extremely disappointed and felt we overpaid and did not we did not receive a 90 minute massage session.

This Spa and Salon is absolutely amazing! We booked Bourbon and Blush for a friend’s bachelorette party this weekend and it was amazing!! They were attentive, kind, and went above and beyond what we expected! The owner is so nice and was incredibly helpful during the entire time of the process for booking the party. The building is absolutely beautiful too. You get your money’s worth here! Please check them out!!

They are at a new location and under a new name called Bourbon and Blush. My experience was terrible and I was a frequent customer when they were above the Galt House. The receptionist was not welcoming.. My masseuse talk during my whole massage, she rushed my massage, certain parts of my body she didn’t even touch, she stopped and used her phone while giving me my massage. In addition, I paid for a 50 minute massage and didn’t receive the full 50 minutes. The room was upstairs so it was very loud, they need more sound padding (insulation) upstairs. I was very disappointed!

It was GOOD trying something different but was worst experience EVER for my husband and I, they were rude in the most nice way.I spent 275.00 for two massages and was rushed through the whole thing my money was good but the service was terrible, she also apologized for not being able to do the full service...but to come back. This is crazy.

I had such a relaxing and wonderful time. The Bourbon Pedicure was worth the experience and Emily was one of the best personalities I have ever experienced. Her smile and laugh is contagious. When you come to Louisville, please come see her!

Absolutely lovely. The masseuse allowed me to rest and relax while giving me a wonderful massage. She was even aware of minor needs of mine like pulling my face mask over my eyes or adjusting the bed for my comfort. Highly recommend and I will be back!

Visited the salon as a treat for my employees before a girls night out. Online it states the price for a blow out and style is $40, we were charged $60 + a 20% tip was automatically added. The water for the shampoo was freezing cold, one girl even said she didnt know how to do a blowout, and one of my girls left with only half of her hair curled. The styles were awful. All of us had to go back to the room and redo our hair before going out. The only reason I have 2 stars was because of how nice everyone was. Would not recommend for any type of styling needs.

It was my very first spa experience and a birthday treat. Great southern hospitality atmosphere, already considering a return trip the next time I visit Louisville.

No one there is license legally to do what services they are suppose to be doing. There were also several people who didn’t even speak or understand English. For the price your paying for the services this is Unexpectable and and ridiculous! I will be letting all my friends, family, and social media not to go here for ANY services! Save your money and time.

I was on vacation and had a hard time finding someone to accommodate my ADA needs. I gave them a try and I walked out looking and feeling like a million bucks. They gave pink hair I only dreamed of! My hair looks amazing and now I am visiting louisvile just so I can get my hair done. Thank you to Mana for making my dream hair a reality!

My husband and I came down to Louisville for a Luke Combs concert. We stayed at the hotel that this spa is located inside of. My husband and I scheduled an 80 minute couples massage but once I got there, I really wanted to get my hair done for the concert and get my eyebrows waxed. They were pretty much booked solid but when I asked the lady at the front desk, she squeezed me in to make sure I looked my absolute best to see Luke! The lady that did my massage, my hair, & my eye brows absolutely killed it. I went from happy red/blonde to a beautiful dark color on top and blonde highlights throughout. Thank you so much for making this experience such a good one! I am almost tempted to schedule my hair, eye brows, and massage once every two months and come from Ohio to get it done! lol I appreciate yall and I will def return at some point!

Had a Swedish massage here. Its certainly not a luxury resort style spa, but as a day spa goes it met expectations. Not the best massage Ive ever had and a little on the pricey side but still cheaper than the Omni (although I havent had a massage there so I cant compare quality).

I booked 2 hour long Swedish massages plus 15 minute sinus enhancement add on for my daughters…booked as “couples massage for sisters”. They received a 30 minute massage and got to breathe into something for a minute. The room was extremely small and hard for the therapists to move around. I am completely disappointed that the hour and 15 min relaxing massage that I booked…they only received 30 minutes. Not worth our money and very disappointed that I chose Xhale Spa.

I never write bad reviews, but I really was disappointed by my group’s manicure and pedicure experience. We took a bridal party for a spa day. The facial, scalp treatment, and brow waxing were good. However, I spent over $400 on the worst manicure and pedicures we’ve ever gotten. Just don’t do it. We had to go elsewhere to get a second manicure before our event.I am changing to three stars because the owner has since reached out to remedy the situation. While I still wish our original experience was better, she is kind, professional, and working to right a wrong.

Had as pedicure by Katelyn, it was the best pedicure that Ive ever had.Ive always been on my feet working and never had pleasant looking feet, but once i got my pedicure by Katelyn my feet looked and felt amazing. I would and will recommend her to everyone that i know. the experience was everything and more that i could hope for.

4/15/2022 I had bought a couple massage 2 manicures and 2 pedicures for my friends birthday. Ended up paying $600 total this is including $80 tips. Although the staff was friendly the service was very basic. I travel around the country and been on several cruises and going to many different spas. I had a massage and was asked areas that need attention. My request was ignored. I am use to foot/shin/calf massage and hand/fingers/forearm massage during pedi and mani we never recieved the same treatment you get at local mom and pop owned business. There was no attention to details. My friends cuticles were push back to far and cut. Her toes were sore and fingernails chip the next day.Sadly, I have recieved better service in strip malls nail boutique and spas for much less money. I wanted this spa day to be classy and very special like a cruise ship experience. Whats crazy She (birthday girl) hates baseball but enjoy the visit to LOUISVILLE SLUGGER better than her spa day visit. I was very disappointed. Paid extra for Dremel nail polish that is suppose to last two weeks it started chipping the next day. 50 minutes massage was 35 minutes. They must start timing when you are removing your clothes. I didnt want to cause a scene and RUIN her birthday. I paid anyway and we left. Dont be fooled by HOTEL SPAS high prices. Service is mediocre. Plus, I misplace parking ticket and parking was $25.00. Parking should be validated visiting XHALE at the GALT HOUSE. I am willing to pay for quality regardless of price. However, the money I spent was not worth the visit to XHale.

The women were very nice but the couples massage left a lot to be desired. It’s hard to leave a negative review, but we were disappointed. I’m from the beauty industry and know what a well trained therapist feels like. I wonder if they were newly licensed or maybe they don’t have to be. We talked about it the rest of the day, just how off the flow was and the constant coughing of my massage therapist (not sure if she was sick or what), we definitely didn’t feel like we got what we paid for. This is the first negative review I’ve left, but know we depend on one another to spend our time and money wisely. So felt we needed to!***Tiffany, the manager, contacted me and took all of my concerns to heart. She validated the issues we had, and also gave me insight into all the coughing (glad to know we do not need airborne 😉). I appreciate the level of customer care she gave and changed my response to 5 stars, for Tiffany. The experience was certainly not great, but the level of customer care definitely changed my perspective.

I went in for a facial and unfortunately, had the most unpleasant experience. The facial began fine but quickly turned south when some face wash got up my nose. After several minutes I tried to clear it out with a tissue, but didn’t have any luck getting the burning out of my throat. At this point, I tried to be polite and just get through the facial without embarrassing the aesthetician, Katelyn. I had tried blowing my nose and nothing eased the pain. After several more minutes, Katelyn became extremely irritated by my runny nose and inability to breath from my nose. She very shortly told me to “just get up and deal with it.” Shocked, I sat up and tried to blow my nose again but the discomfort never ended. It was never my intention to tell her she had messed up and I was in pain, which is why I didn’t say anything else after the first tissue didn’t help. She became extremely annoyed that I wasn’t relaxed enough for her she told me that I needed to let her know if I was uncomfortable and to “not just sit there acting miserable.” This brought extreme anxiety for someone who is never one to complain about service. I ended up leaving in tears because of her hostile tone. When I got up I told her I didn’t need to stay here with someone being rude to me she preceded to argue that she wasn’t being rude. She never apologized for her tone or her mistake in letting the product go down my nose.Lindsey, the manager, had excellent service and was incredibly kind after a traumatic experience. She made every effort to make things better by offering another service completely free. She is the only reason this salon gets 2 stars. If you ever do go I’m sure there are some amazing aestheticians! I would avoid seeing Katelyn at all costs.

Definitely recommend! Xhale did my hair and makeup for my wedding day. They also did the hair and make up for six bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother in law - and the hair for my flower girl. They were awesome. I was so concerned leading up to the wedding that with all those ladies, we were going to end up being late. Tiffany worked with me before the wedding to come up with a schedule and reassured me that the schedule gave plenty of time. The day of the wedding, everything was clockwork. They kept to the schedule and we were all looking beautiful and had plenty of time. They were great and did so much to make my day stress free!

I came to xhale salon and spa frustrated and with high anxiety, they meet my needs in EVERY way possible, the services I had received were very outstanding, with the massage I chose the add on CBD oil and it took my anxiety away immediately at the end I was so impressed by the oil I purchased it along with the Bourbon 3 in 1 wash with the matching body butter that was received with my bourbon pedicure, the best product I have purchased in a very long time, the body butter made my skin feel absolutely amazing with a great glow. If you want relaxation i highly recommend you book your appointment with this very professional business right away!

We had the couples massage. By the time they came out late to get us and we changed and dressed afterwards, our 50 minute massage was more like 35. We arrived 25 minutes early for our appointment so the manager’s assertion that them coming to get us late was our fault is offensive. You dress and undress in the massage room. No mood setting or relaxation prior to. My husband’s massage was different even though they were supposed to be the same and he was charged $9 extra. The actual massage was good, just short. I was asked to leave a $50 tip by the front desk.

By far, the best massage of my life! Everything was perfect, from the ambiance down to the heated sheets and hot packs for your back and eyes!! 10/10 will be back the next time Im in Louisville! Thanks for helping this momma relax❤

Me and my daughters enjoyed our spa treatment, though it is very pricey. My daughter received a hot stone massage and was burned across her back. We are treating her burns, 3 days later because they are quite painful. We did return to the spa immediately after and was told it was normal....Im not sure burning her back is normal. I would stay away from the hot stone massages. My other daughter and my self enjoyed our Swedish messages and experienced no issues. We will however not return, for the price, glassware instead of small plastic cups, offer robes, have pedicure shoes available, etc would have been nice...if you charge up-scale prices guests should expect up-scale accommodations.

My daughter and I had massages yesterday by Meghan. She gave me a wonderful relaxing Swedish massage and my daughter a deep tissue massage. Both of us loved every minute of it. We were lucky enough to get in the same day we asked about it. I was also able to get a terrific hair cut and conditioning treatment by Sarah. She did a great job and was so wonderful to work with. Thank you to Xhale for being so accomodating and helpful!

We got massages here and it was the worst massage experience I’ve had. They had our entire bodies exposed, doing weird hip stretches and exposing our groin without regard for privacy. They HURT. They did not know masseuse techniques. It was the worst 80 minute massage… and then they out loud asked for a tip over $30.The two stars are for the cleanliness. At least they had that.

I will not go back there again for a manicure or pedicure. They were expensive and the service was less than the basic one I get at the Walmart salon. I was charged $10 to remove the shellac yet not told about that when I booked the appointment. The conversation was good, but my nails did not get soaked nor any type of massage. There was a slightly gritty liquid put on my feet(not above my ankle.) It was never massaged in but quickly rinsed off. They dont have the massage chairs so I sat on a shared, cushion bench. My manicure severely chipped within 3 days. The body massage was good, but they dont provide robes and did not have any aromatics. My husband gave this to me for a special gift. This was not special unfortunately.

As you walk into the spa salon it will relax and take away the stress from your busy work week. The staff are wonderful, kind, and very knowledgeable. Tiffany took excellent care of me and my hair and I will be returning for all of my spa and salon needs. They also carry the Me Care bourbon infused body line. I have personally used all of their products and they are wonderful. Your skin feels soft and glows.

Let them know i was coming from out of town and it ended up being in a hotel on the 17th floor, it wouldve been helpful to mention it over the phone when i booked. there was also extra charges for when you have a couples massage situation where one person gets a different style massage.. probably mention that somewhere on the form we sign or when i booked. The massage itself was pretty inconsistent, each side done differently or techniques on one side not done on the other. The targeted spots both my boyfriend and I mentioned werent hit.They had said the masks are uncomfortable and suggested we not wear them in the middle of a pandemic, found it odd as well. The couples massage was supposed to last 80 minutes with i believe 15 or 20 minutes extra for a scalp treatment and we left our appointment after about 80 minutes total redressing and all. 450 bucks for a couples massage, hot stones added and scalp treatment added. felt disappointed in the quality and felt as if my time was cut short. I wont be visiting the next time im in town.

Probably should have read more of the previous reviews and just paid the fee for a late cancellation. One star is being generous. . . .Staff is friendly but like others have noted, not very knowledgeable or experienced. Massage was very inconsistent, 10 to 15 minutes short, and complementary services added for the spa running behind was added into the massage. So the massage was actually even shorter.Not a relaxing experience at all.Charging Vegas prices for lack luster experience.

Beautiful experience the people are so welcoming and the Salon itself has was a must see! My Husband and I enjoyed a couples massage with the romance package. The music was soothing and put both of us in the mood of romance, the entire experience was so relaxing, I also received a facial and a blow out to die for which last me about a week using the Kevin Murphy products on my kind of hair! This whole experience was a blessing for us and rekindled a few old flames 😁 needless to say we will be coming back

This salon is just amazing. I received a Brazilian wax from Caitlyn. She was very professional and knowledgable. She made me feel completely comfortable especially for it being my first. The Salon and spa are extremely clean. The products that were recommended to me were perfect and addressed every issue I expressed to her, I believe she truly customized my experience. Xhale is your one stop solution to all your body, hair and skin desires. The staff go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. I would defiantly return to this salon and you should too.

Rushed, zero pressure, and spent most of the time just rubbing oil on me with one hand. Was she texting with the other?We went in for a couples hot stone massage. After arriving about twenty minutes early, the desk staff was friendly, checked us in, and offered a glass of wine while we waited.The therapist came out a few minutes after our scheduled start time to take us back, but then realized it was a hot stone and she hadnt prepared the stones. They asked us to sit back down and hurriedly got a tray of stones to put in the room.About five minutes past start time, she rushed us back to the room and without more than a couple words left the room with: Well, we are starting late so lets get to it.Ten minutes later, the two therapists came back into the room to begin the massage. There was no discussion about what we wanted or how much pressure, places to focus on. Everything was just very rushed.With the lights on full brightness, they began the hot stone massages... with lukewarm stones. We both added on the bourbon foot scrub and I added on a scalp treatment. When it came time for the scalp treatment, she opened the bottle and dumped a giant glob of cold tea tree liquid on the back of my head.Throughout the massage, both therapists used so little pressure that it felt like they were just rubbing oil on us. My therapist used only one hand through most of the treatment.Our massage began 15 minutes late and ended 10 minutes early. Not only did we not get a good massage (not even mediocre), we didnt even get 65 minutes out of a 90 minute treatment.As the therapist left the room at the end, she left the scalp treatment on my head with no instructions of what to do to rinse it out. I had to request that they rinse it so we could go on to dinner. What a mess.We have both had many, many massages throughout our lives. As soon as the therapists left, we looked at each other and said: That was the absolute WORST massage ever.Then we got the bill: $470. For what? We wont be back and you shouldnt go.I left there wondering what the hell just happened...

Loved our experience! We got the couples massage with the romance package and our masseuse were amazing! Everyone was so friendly. The massage left me feeling stress free and relaxed! Highly recommended!

Update: I did speak with the manager. She was very nice and said this is not usual practice for them. I fully believe that considering the woman who referred me there goes once a month or so to get this same procedure and said she had never had an issue. Maybe it was the wax? Not sure. She made sure to make accommodations and apologized for the bad experience. I will have to go back another time and give them a chance to show me how things usually run there. Maybe eyebrows next time instead of such a sensitive area.Paid $70 for a Brazilian wax. Wax was so hot I thought it may actually burn me, thankfully it didn’t. There was a language barrier which doesn’t bother me at all except it stopped her from understanding when i said it was too hot. It’s been about 36 hours and it looks horrible! Way worse than razor burn has ever looked. Red, splotchy and there are little scabs everywhere. Hurts to touch, just totally not okay. Also, she missed multiple patches of hair?!Really upset I paid that price for really hot wax, terrible results and pain after the procedure.I expected a lot more from them. I would post pictures and i have pictures for proof. But google reviews isn’t the place for proof of this specific body area.

The staff was nice, but not knowledgeable about pedicure services. Tools used for pedicures were the same things I use at home. The staff member that did my pedicure used the file that flips out from the clippers to dig around the cuticles of my toes. She also cut the skin underneath my big toe which is now sore. Was even more disappointed when I discovered the next morning I no longer even had polish on one of my toes due to it peeling off sometime during the night. If you are going to offer salon services in an upscale hotel the staff should be educated on high end service techniques to match the price. Highly disappointed.

I was staying at the Omni but because their salon was fully booked I called the Xhale Salon in the Galt House. For a Swedish massage and it was AMAZING! . I had Miraidis and she did a really,really good job.. We will be back. Their customer service was to our standards where so many places are lacking right now.

This experience was amazing. Me and my mom came to get massages together and I got my eyebrows waxed as well. Both services were amazing! I highly recommend this spa, not only with amazing services but filled with great people and great hospitality. I’ll definitely be back.

Me and my hubby loved our 30 min couples massage! When they realized we had a lot of knots in our back they asked us if we wanted them to spend more time on them! They never took their hands off of us when needing to get lotion. The entire 30 was spent pampering us! Will for sure go here again.

My fiance and I recently purchased a couples massage to go along with our stay at the Galt House. We paid $130 for what was supposed to be a 30-minute massage. After only 12 minutes our massage was over!! We asked for a refund for the money that we did not get the service for, while still paying for the service that we kid get. We should have only paid $52 for the 12 minutes that we did get. The ended up issuing a refund of only $35. As far as Im concerned they stole money from us. Even after speaking with the owner she approved the $35 refund. If you do decide to go to the salon please make sure to set your own timer because they will rip you off.

We were lucky enough to have spent the better part of the day at the salon getting pampered. I had a massage, facial, manicure and pedicure. The whole experience was amazing. The ladies in the spa were friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience fabulous. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a full service spa/salon in the Kouisville, KY area.

I was in town for a wedding reception and found the salon on google. It was within easy walking distance of where I was staying. Due to heat & humidity, I made a last minute appointment and they were able to get me in for an updo. Sara did a wonderful job. I did not provide her with any pictures, but we discussed what I was looking for and she exceeded my expectations. Got lots of compliments at the reception. Thanks Sara!

Beautiful spa, my bourbon body scrub smelled amazing and my facial was wonderful.

Grossly overpriced. We booked a couples massage at their in-house spa and even though I felt the price asked at confirmation ($170) was high, it was a special occasion so I booked it anyway. Wow, what a mistake.- They played a nursery rhyme playlist the whole time - like Row Your Boat and Mary Had A Little Lamb (ironically we were on our first trip AWAY from our baby - haha)- The lights were on fully bright because they couldnt figure out how to dim them (they flipped them on and off multiple times during our massage, which was super distracting)- They forgot to massage the left side of my husbands body- The chin bar was pressed painfully against my lips the whole time and I kept having to hold my head up away from it- One of the massage therapists was sick and hacked and coughed through the whole thingWhen it was over, my husband and I both agreed that we almost got up in the middle of the massage to leave because it was so awful, but neither of us wanted to disappoint the other.Then at checkout they charged us TWICE what our reservation confirmation stated and refused to honor the original price asked at booking (although they did bring our bill down considerably, to their credit). They said that because we booked through the hotel website, it had displayed the wrong amount...and somehow that was our fault so they couldnt honor it.This massage wasnt even worth HALF of what they charge. We left without tipping (because who could AFFORD it??) and felt so cheated. It was definitely the low point of our trip.

This place is amazing, great manicures, pedicures, and facials. Not to mention the facility, is very beautiful! It looks like it something I would see in NY or somewhere in a magazine! They are a full service Salon. They do not only treat you like a valuable customer, but they treat you like family. It is a relaxing place to get away from the stress of work or to get pampered. Unfortunately, despite a very kind nail manicurist, the results were the worst Ive ever experienced and one of the most expensive. Additionally, despite getting a regular manicure, the color has completely changed color the past two days (to a very unpleasant brown). No UV exposure, nothing I can think of, just wrong use of a top coat and since the coverage is uneven, on the sides there is still clear pink. On way my home and look forward to removing it and am bummed I wasted money.

Had a great experience getting my beard trimmed and my haircut by Lorie. She did a fantastic job. The salon is very clean and has a refreshing atmosphere. I will definitely be returning for future cuts.

Went for waxing services & even though the technician was nice she did not complete the job! I had to make another appointment to get it done because she did a very poor job. Will NEVER go back because if I am paying for these services, shouldnt they at least be done correctly? They need a new technician who isnt afraid of waxing to make her clients silky smooth.

I am a local and I unfortunately couldnt get into my normal esthetican. Xhale salon had an opening and I took it. Located in the Galt house it was easy to find and I was greeted promptly and graciously at the reception counter. Kayla, was kind and very professional, she made me feel comfortable in meeting a new estetican. Prices are reasonable with a 20% gratuity. I will be back again.

I decided last minute while on a weekend trip to go chop my hair since the hotel had a salon. BEST DECISION EVER! I had read great reviews about Samira so had booked an appt w her and she did not disappoint. The salon is very relaxing and Samira took the time to ask questions and listen to what I wanted, didn’t want, how much effort I put into doing my hair etc. I could not be happier with the result, and along the way had a delightful chat. So thankful this Thanksgiving for Samira and Xhale Salon.

The therapists were very attentive during our session and provided great service. They provided pleasant conversation and overall friendly atmosphere for our visit.

I paid $55 for a gel manicure that I need to redo. Please do not do your nails here. The only reason I did not redo them while there is 1) I did not trust Darcy (that’s her name... please do not get your nails done with her) to redo my nails considering how horrible they came out. If she would redo them, what would change? 2) had to catch a flight. My unhappiness was expressed and they still made me pay for my nails. I have no words do to express how I feel about paying for something that was not done correctly. They look horrible. Seriously, absolutely horrible. Now I need to have these not done correctly nails until tomorrow so I can repay for them to get done correctly. Again, please do not do your nails there. This is unacceptable. The point of doing my nails while out of town is because I do not have time to do them once home. Now, I need to miss work tomorrow to get them done. Very disappointed. Please do not do your nails here.

I took my daughter there get hair done and was suppose be ultra light blonde and it looks grey ..my daughter cried 200.00 hair cut n die n not happy the lady owned place was very rude and did not want refund her money and all she refunded was 60.00 and was totally rude about it ...i have been to this salon several times and never had issue untill now n way they treated my child was uncalled for and rude she cried n didnt even want go school because of her hair looked grey
