Diane Diaz was outstanding! She was very quick but did and amazing job! My son got to watch Disney plus while in his fireman booster seat and she gave all 3 of my kids a treat and a prize! She was calm woth my son and his haircut was handsome!

I have only had my hair dyed a single other time due to the cost, but a coworker referred me to Karen here and to say I am astounded is an understatement.Pricing? More than fair, almost 1/3 of what I spent at Ulta.Friendly? I felt like I had been seeing Karen for years after just 15 minutes. We spent probably 4 hours together and there was never a full moment around her. She even introduced me to her husband (whose name eludes me at the moment), who is a fellow barber/stylist and also incredibly friendly. From the brief interactions with the other stylists, this seems to be a universal theme.Professional? Outstandingly. I went in with a reference picture and made a few slight notes and Karen followed them to a tee. My hair looks and feels fantastic and everyone has been complimenting me all day.Overall, this place is a gem. Karen is a diamond in a sea of rough while also being affordable and friendly. The worst thing that I can say about this place is that I have to wait too long to go back!

So I have been to this salon three times now and it has such great energy!! The staff and other guest are all friendly and welcoming- and I am coming in with two children ages 2 and under so that’s saying a lot!! I do come there to get my 2 yr old son’s hair cut by Diane Diaz and she does a fantastic job, great scissor cut. She is very warm and welcoming and is well stock and prepared with distractions for any age child. We leave happy and my boy looks so handsome!!

I love this salon! Everyone is so friendly there! My stylist, Deena Willard, is hands down the absolute best! She listens to every single thing you tell her about your hair... what you like, what you dont like, and what you wish for. Then she gives you her opinion back and doesnt color or cut even one strand before both of us agreeing on what exactly shes going to do. I think the goal of every stylist there is to give you the perfect style and the best experience while getting your new do! Lots of laughs!

A huge thank to the Staff!My coworker and I were visiting from Alabama for business, and we had talked about getting pedicures together before. This seemed to be our chance. We knew it was last minute and a long shot, but we called a few salons in the area and they were completely booked.When I called Brooks & Co it was about 7:00pm. They told me that the pedicurist has just left, but she gladly said she would reach out to see if she would come back.The staff was incredible. Not only did the pedicurist return just for us, but she took the time to give us a wonderful, individual, personal pedicure, and was there an additional two hours at least, as well as the receptionist. They both insisted it was a pleasure to have us. They were extremely kind and professional, and the pedicurist definitely knew what she was doing. She also had a great personality and was a joy to spend the time with.Again, HUGE thank you for accommodating us last minute, and I will definitely be back next time in town!

I had a Groupon for Bonnie. I had a good experience. She was knowledgeable, straightforward and very easy to talk to. I dont know how anyone would think she was rude. If youre cordial to people they tend to return the favor. I came in for a cut and I liked it. I got layers and a lot of my hair was cut but it was still a good length. I had hair down to my waist so it was time for a cut.I am not one for talking much so there was an appropriate amount of conversation for me. I did however have some reservations about the styling at the end since some of it was curled but some of it was straight.In all, good price and good service.

I love this salon! Nails, hair and massage! Drew does an amazing job and is easy to work with for hair. Bob does wonderful precision cuts! Donna is the best with colors. It is easy to get an appointment. The owner has worked really hard to keep the salon in great shape. She works to update the equipment such as hair dryers. The whole staff works hard to make your experience positive. Worth a try!

Went to Brooks & Co for the first time on Saturday April 20th. Very clean and professional atmosphere. Front end staff was very kind and had me wait at the front until my appointment time.Diane Diaz is who I saw. She was prompt, courteous, and very professional. This was my first time seeing her and she did an outstanding job. I have very thin hair and she offered suggestions while also walking me through the best hairstyle types for my thin hair. Glad I took her advice because I am so, so happy with my hair!I will most definitely be back!

Diane Diez did an awesome job cutting our 15 month old son’s hair. Had all kinds of things to keep him distracted and he got an amazing first haircut. She also had a “first haircut” certificate with a baggie for the hair if you want it. Definitely recommend 😊

The electrolysis is amazing. Laura Crawford for all your hair removal needs. Amazing eyebrow waxes, Brazilians, and more! Flawless technique! Consistent! Been using her for over 20 years. Followed her from 2 different salons over the years... Very kind, friendly, professional, and personable. Wouldnt and wont ever trust anyone else with my eyebrows or anything else. You wont regret trying her out! She also was published on the front page of the business section of the courier journal. Should be in Hollywood working for the stars!!👌💗☑️💯

I also purchased a Groupon for services by Bonnie. It was possibly the worst experience Ive ever had in a Salon. She had me working the whole time, putting foils on the board and handing it to her as she highlighted my hair. She also convinced me that I needed layers cut and she did a horrific job. I will have to go to another salon to have my hair fixed. The color was not bad but not what I asked for. The product she put on my hair was sticky and had a very unappealing smell. I had to wash my hair right after leaving the salon. Sadly, I arrived with my hair looking better than when I left.

Susette Fulco is the absolute best stylist in Louisville!! I have been going to her for the last few years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. I always get compliments on my color after a visit to the salon. Go to Brooks and Co. and you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic salon. Very upbeat. Lauren cut my Mothers hair. She did such a great job, i asked her to cut mine. I now live in SC ... will have to make more trips to Louisville to get Lauren to style my hair.

I dont even want to begin. I went to jay yesterday with my Groupon. He refused to do . Hes a rude spiteful man who came on with an attitude.i gave short hair. He charged 35. To pull one strand of hair to see if my hair would bleach . He then told me to come back for another appointment because he did not have time to do me that day. I am older and the people who go here must be desperate . I ask to talk to a manger. I was informed all people work for themselves.Jay, called me back and still was being the same ass of a person. I am glad I read these comments before deciding to give him a second chance wow. I will never be back there.

I had the worst experience with Jay!!! I paid $50 on Groupon and it was nearly impossible to get in touch with him. Then when I get there he tells me, my hair is too damaged that he can’t touch it without buying this “product “ mind you, I’ve been to several hair salons and no one has ever told me that! It was all a scam for him to make me spend more money! Finally when he was able to do my hair, he did absolutely nothing I told him I wanted! He did what he wanted and didn’t even touch the top of my hair and even charged me more money!! DO NOT GO TO JAY! I can’t believe he even has a job! I ended up spending $130 and my hair looked the exact same as it did when I came in!!! I will never go back to Jay!!! I gave one star bc the staff was great and very polite but Jay is something else!

Communication breakdown with receptionist and the stylists. Every time I visited my stylist she acted clueless that I was waiting patiently in lobby after telling staff at front desk who I was and what time appointment was and who it was with. This last time waited in lobby 40 minutes then left. Stylist called and never had a clue I was even in the building! Ridiculous! This is after telling staff twice who I was waiting to see. Explained I would understand if her schedule ran behind and they asked me to just reschedule. But that wasnt even the case. Because I supposedly wasnt sitting where she could see me I just didnt exist! Also had bangs blunt cut way too short by different stylist. She cut wet and Didnt bother drying. Wont be back.

I have been coming to this salon for almost 5 years now & have always had a great experience. Everyone is always nice & friendly to all the clients. If you are looking for a new salon, I highly recommend Brooks & Company! My stylist Mary rocks!!!!

My favorite nail salon. I have been going there10 plus years. I I started with Sarah ( deceased )) in the early 90s and followed her to Brooks & Co. When she passed away I started going to Raisa. I have been very pleased with her.

The salon was nice and the haircut that I had gotten looked very nice. The hair dresser however was anything but nice. She was very uncooperative and was rude to not only me but also my friend who shared an opinion and idea with her. I would not go back and I would not recommend it for anyone else. I asked her for a balayage and she wouldnt do it and said it wouldnt look good. I bought there voucher from groupon and it says more thn they offer. Very bad experience with bonnie. I dont know about others. But bonnie was very rude!!

I went to this salon to get the haircut and highlights with this guy so called JAY. He don’t know Wht he is doing. He was unable to get the color for the highlights, my hair was all orange And he was like your hair is too dark we should put back your hair color again. And he again put the hair color make it how it was before the highlights, he didn’t give me the haircut and was like comeback for the haircut again coz his other client was waiting. and I was like oki but I paid and I even tips him. I just paid a lot of money for nothing. He knows nothing. Please don’t waste your money with this crazy Guys. He seems to be so much in rush, u will never feel comfortable with his behaviors. This is the worst experience i have ever had at this salon. I am writing this review as a warning to other people not to part with their hard earned cash at this salon and with this guy Jay. This is the worst experience i have ever had. I was in tears after i left the salon, The entire experience from start to finish was awful. I never felt welcomed by him. He was incredibly rude to me. i never recieved the services I wanted.He never listened to me and just did exactly what he wanted. He never matched my colour and now my hair is so funny and darker- which is not what i asked for. I would like to know what the salon manager thinks of all these reviews because by the looks of thing i am not happy.

They are rude to Groupon customers. The other customers were treated nicely and offered drinks. My stylist and another one were complaining to me about Groupon customers and asking me if I planned on returning or was just looking for a deal. Then they were going on about how they cant keep Groupon clients. They cant keep Groupon clients because theyre rude to them! Also, the stylist advertised that she does balayage coloring, but the result I got was nothing close to it! I had it done previously and all she had to do was touch it up. Instead I ended up with horrible looking streaky high and low lights. I was stupid enough to tip her simply because I was furious that they thought I was just cheap because I was a Groupon customer. I really wish I hadnt since Im going to have to go somewhere else to have someone fix my hair.

Tonna did a fantastic job on my Brazilian Blowout!!! Im so excited to have smooth frizz free hair!! Definitely coming back for my next treatment!!! Very friendly relaxed atmosphere also!!

I have come to this salon 4 times or so while living in Kentucky. The last time I called to make an appointment the woman that answered the phone was very rude to me! She hung up on me after I told her I would have to go else where because there were zero openings for the next 7 days. There was no goodbye, or I’m sorry. She just straight up hung up on me. I will not be going back. There are tons of other options in Louisville.

Got the chance to go for my first visit to get a haircut. Ms. Beverly Clark gave me an awesome haircut and I am very satisfied with how my hair look. Will definitely visit again and recommend Ms.Beverly to my friends.

I am really sad to say I am not at all satisfied with the hair color I got on last saturday 03/31/2018.I asked hair color which is visible on my hairs I was told since I have dark black hairs should stay away from honey but I told I need which is visible on my dark hairs. Asked for suggestion thinking they have experience and I was getting my hair color first time and shared this with him.It was not much visible that day also then i was told it will get lighter in sun but nothing worked.I paid 60 bugs on groupon and i just have little longer hair than shoulder i was charged 40 bugs more.I feel they do not want to put extra effort in giving black hair color lighter shade. Dont know what but I paid 100 bugs and got nothing.

Their stylist Jay RUINED my friends hair. I dont know if they were just mad that she came in with a Groupon, but whatever the reason, they took their full aggression out on her poor head. Before she went to the salon her hair was long, dark, and gorgeous. Now, Im not even sure if its fixable! They were downright hateful to her the entire time she was there. Argued with her about her Groupon, then made her BEND OVER forward to cut her hair like people do at home! This gave her really choppy, drastic layers reminiscent of a mullet. She wanted balayage, but instead Jay just slopped bleach on IN STRAIGHT LINES across her head, so now she has these square bleach chunks in her dark hair. THEN they had the audacity to tell her they were charging her $25 more because they had to mix up more lightener! I put a review on Facebook for this salon with this information and they removed their Facebook page so people wouldnt be able to read their bad reviews. I was going to stop at Facebook, but now that theyve done that Ill be reviewing them on every site I can find.

Sharon Evans is the best. Period! She only works on Thursday and Saturday, but is more than worth rearranging your schedule for. Great salon!

My wife went to this terrible establishment and posted the pictures on fb if anyone would like to see more examples. This is her groupon review:This was the WORST experience of my life. I was treated like a cheap, low class coupon user bc of this groupon from beginning to end. I told jay the hair stylist that I bought the groupon with balyage highlights. He refused and said no Im not doing that Ill do a drop crown highlight. So thinking that this already judgy older man knew what he was doing was my first mistake. He was obviously mad that I bought a groupon and it just ruined his life that I have long hair. He pulled and ripped the hair from my head after I told him that I had a terrible experience in a salon and havent been able to make myself go in 14 years and I finally made the appointment bc I saw the baylage option that I was refused by the hair stylist. I caught a glimpse of him in the mirror when I was turned around and he was shaking his head whilst tearing through the tangle that he caused by throwing my hair around in a tizzy. Then when it was time to cut my hair he made me flip my head over and he cut it all one length all over which resulted in a mullet. I closed my eyes and I prayed to God that it wasnt as bad as I thought it would be and was repeating over and over in my headdont cry dont cry this can be fixed. Then he halfwa blow dryed my hair and proceeded to flat iron it damp. Did I forget to mention that he made me feel like garbage for my hair being dry and damaged???? I refused to open my eyes but I felt and heard the damage that he was doing and after doing a rosarys worth of prayers I opened my eyes to the horror that was now my hair. I now have a green/marigold mullet with straight line highlights all over my head. Then he made me sign a document informing me that I need to tip him on the entire groupon amount and took me to the register where he informed me that hes charging an EXTRA $25 bc he had to use an extra bowl of bleach. The old woman cashier lady fumbled to get it together and I finally said look heres $40, I have to leave now bc Im about to cry really hard. I want a refund and an apology would be nice.

Gave an attitude when I told them I had a Groupon. I left right away after reading the reviews.. sticking with Paul Mitchell. Cheaper and they always give great service. Id give zero stars if possible! The stylist was rude and unprofessional, and called me at 8:58 a.m. asking where I was (my appointment was for 9 a.m.). I was stuck in traffic and told him I would be there very shortly. I arrived at 9:09 a.m. (9 minutes late) and he was angry I was nine minutes late. He made me reschedule for 1:30 p.m. that afternoon and then after waiting 30 minutes for him, he said he didnt have time to do my hair. DONT EVER GO TO THIS SALON!!!!!!!!!

Ive been going to brookes since my hair dresser moved there. I love the service and theres a nice energy around the place. Its not a small town shop but has multiple workers and chairs. You can find someone their who can do just about anything you want done. Super professional and a cute salon.
