I had requested an appointment online and hadnt heard anything in response, so I called to book a couples massage. The massage includes smoothie or champagne and what sounded like a patio with a view of sailboats going by on the ocean or harbor. Over the phone, when I booked the appointment, I gave someone my card number to book. She said she would text with confirmation right after. I didnt receive a text for a while, so I texted instead and asked for clarification on the price and for confirmation of our appointment. She kindly replied and said I would for sure have the pre paid price, which was $298 total vs. the regular price at $262 ea. Great!We arrived on our appointment day, a little bit early, and called for the free parking only to find out that our appointment was somehow down for the following day. I was very disappointed as this was an anniversary gift. She said, I never do this because my prices are already so good, but I will give you 50% off next time you come in. Which is a nice gesture, but the wording didnt feel great.She also texted me later and said, Nothing was pre paid, suggesting that we cant receive the 50% off she just offered. Even though I gave somebody my card over the phone. I sent her screenshots and then she decided to tell me that the card didnt go through, but why wouldnt you tell me that at the time of booking, a week ago when I gave the card number.Originally, the situation was disappointing because of scheduling errors, and then it just got worse.And driving around the building, the patio didnt look special, and it would be an obstructed view of the ocean anyways, so ultimately, Im glad it didnt work out here.*Now she wants to respond and place blame on me. There was no phone call, if my card did not go through why didnt you tell me that in the text when I texted first for confirmation? Why not leave a voicemail. Youre lying, and attempting to invalidate this appropriate review. Stop.

Creative Chakra Spa and Yoga is true sanctuary. Sandy is extremely kind, caring and wants you to have a wonderful experience and leave feeling relaxed. My husband and I have been going for regular massages here for more than 6 months and we will keep going back! I have had a number of different massage therapists, all of whom have been experienced and professional. We often use the infra red sauna following our massage and we never feel rushed. Sandy and her team are fantastic and I can not recommend them enough - I always have the best nights sleep after a massage at Creative Chakra. A very special place.Sarah and Ben

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at this charming spa! We did the Champagne couples package. We were greeted and then given hot tea while we waited. It was probably one of the best massages I have ever had. We enjoyed the private Jacuzzi area, the meal they served us was delicious, and we enjoyed our dinner on the patio, while the sun was setting. I will definitely be going again next time I am in that area. Well done!

The Champagne Sunset Couples Massage is an excellent deal. Our masseuses were very attentive of our needs for our massages. The Sauna gave us a lovely sweat, but my fiance couldnt stay in as long as me so the sauna was shorter than Id like. But afterwards the owner gave us a free hot tub experience because of that. The meal was a delicious organic salad with champagne and a light dessert which is prefect because you dont want something too heavy after a massage. Overall a wonderful experience, one Id high recommend.

It was dirty and completely overpriced. Worst spa Ive ever been to. We did the Champagne Sunset Couples Massage for $262.50 each. The massage was supposed to be followed by a dinner -- which was basically a piece of lettuce, followed by a grand finale of watching sailboats go by on our ocean view patio or by the fire. -- but theres no fire and you absolutely cannot see the ocean from the patio. When asking about this, we were told to go to the beach instead to watch the sunset.

I ABSOLUTELY love his place. It’s a magical place for spiritual people considering the energy and vibe. I did the hydra massage in a tub first and then the massage. The owner handed me a mimosa before the sessio; and advised me to stroll to the beach to enjoy the fresh air first. How amazing is that? The scents in the place are great, the products for sale are wonderful. I would put 5-star but didn’t get the option of the facial back then yet. Looking forward to come back!The place is fantastic for couples’ massages, too.

Very relaxing and rejuvenating!I took my boyfriend for his birthday, I really liked that this is not a big factory type spa.We were greeted with tea, as we relaxed watching the ocean.The massage therapist was excellent, great strong yet gentle touch.My facial was the best! My skin felt amazing as well as the amazing accupressure and head massage.As a couple we also had lots of time to enjoy the great infrared sauna and steam room.Highly recommended! We realize how important it is to relax for mind, body and spirit! We will be going again soon.

I had an incredible experience at the Creative Chakra Spa. It was blocks from the beach and the whole facility was filled with good energy. The staff was kind and welcoming. As a new mom, I was feeling off balance, but after some chakra clearing and rejuvenation I felt about 10 lbs lighter and completely blissful. This is not just a spa. It’s a healing experience that I highly recommend.

I loved this place. We got a really good package for an amazing price. Sandi was very caring and understanding of my partner and I needs. Julie and Jackie were great with the massages and helping with balancing my energy. The bath, food and sauna was also great! We truly enjoyed our romantic experience.

The owner was super flexible when I requested to change my appointment time on the day of my appointment. When I arrived I was greeted with a delicious lavender and honey tea and taken back to spend time in the sauna. I then had the massage sampler which was amazing and then the mud wrap. during the mud wrap they massage your head and feet which helps distract you from the claustrophobia. I will definitely be back!

I went into the spa for a gift of a facial for my birthday. I hadnt had a facial before so I was excited to enjoy the experience. The experience was incredible and very relaxing. I have also had an amazing massage by their massage therapist Dana. She was awesome and I felt regenerated by the entire experience. It was most certainly a wonderful gift and I would definitely go back for some of there other services.

I took my wife here as part of her birthday celebration. I was personally concerned about doing this because A- last time I got a massage I was rubbed hard and it hurt. I thought massages werent for me. And B- I enjoy pedicures, but dont like my feet touched because it always tickles. A foot massage came with the package so I expected to be tickled. The massage therapist Melissa was not only nice, but very attentive to my concerns. Shes obviously skilled and knows her stuff; the massage was amazing and didnt hurt (in fact she was able to rub out knots without it being uncomfortable at all!). And I wasnt tickled by the foot massage, in fact I LOVED it! (VERY unexpected) Big kudos to Melissa! We were also treated to some pretty unique hot tea and in the morning which I liked, and cold water throughout our visit. In addition to the massages, we received a Seaweed Wrap. I loved it! It smells amazing and leaves your skin feeling super soft. I priced this package around town; they are honestly all about the same price but I did not see anybody offering a wrap like this (Seaweed). I also didnt see anybody offering an environment like this. It is VERY pleasing (it feels homeopathic). Its a nice place to visit and the woman who runs the place, Sandy was very welcoming, accommodating, and very kind. I would highly recommend this place for couple, or even if youre just looking for a standard massage.

Worse experience ever.I booked for my husband and I for a our anniversary.The place was clean but not luxurious.My husband’s therapist was good and as we were in the same room, I did not complain. I did not want to ruined his massage.I had the owner of the place and I doubt she is trained as a massage therapist.She was just rubbing me with very hot stones but she was going over the bones ( which is painful) And did not massage thé muscles at all. Foot massage was even worse.At the end, she asked me to include a 20% gratuity on top of the price ($235 for an hour for the couple).I told her that my husband will tip directly his therapist and that I won’t tip her as I did not enjoy this experience.She seemed very surprised and assured me that she knew her acupuncture points ( I am a 4th year student in Tradition Chinese Médecine ) but it can’t be true.I I was glad that my husband had a good time as I chose the place but I will never return.

My boyfriend surprised me for my birthday with a special trip to the Creative Chakra Spa. I was greeted by the owner Sandie who welcomed me and educated me on the benefits of chakra healing. It was an innovative experience as Jackie, my massage therapist used various oils to massage and balance my chakras. Jackie helped to clear some blockage around my heart chakra which left me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. After my massage my boyfriend and I relaxed and enjoyed the amenities of the day spa including the hot tub and sitting area. Overall is was an informative, relaxing, rejuvenating, and romantic experience. I would highly recommend Sandie and her team for a special occasion or if you are looking to pamper yourself in a spiritual way.

What an amazing afternoon! I highly recommend Creative Chakra Spa & Yoga. I felt that Sandie and her team were so knowledgeable and friendly. I truly loved the peaceful, centered feeling, and holistic approach. It is a laid back place with great treatment options. We enjoyed the hot stone, massage, the indian hot oil head massage, reiki and the informed conversation about chakras. I went with my daughter and we both came away with the same great feeling of not only having experienced wonderful treatments but with a feeling of peace and relaxation that lasted a long time. I work in a highly stressful job, and I can say that my experience was so relaxing and transformative. I hope you give it a try.

Ive been here 2x and had great deep tissue massages both times. I liked both Massuses and I got a short treatment from Sandy the owner and I am definitely booking a session with her. She is a healer.The location could not be better. Quiet and right at the beach. Theres nothing in Marina del Rey or Venice like it.I also tried the infrared sauna and it was great too. Next time Ill try the jacuzzi or come after the beach.They served some yummy waters and I had to buy their eucalyptus body wash because it was wonderful. When I use it at home it reminds me of their great vitamin C shower and the tingely refreshing shower I had after the massage. A luxury to be sure.

My fiancé and I had a beautiful experience here at the Creative Chakra Spa. Sandy and Jaqi took really good care of us. We were served the most amazing hot tea as soon as we arrived. Our package was complete with foot reflexology, snacks, chakra meditation, therapy cats, full body massages, spritzers, and a delicious dinner by the fire pit. We had the entire place to ourselves and my man popped the question!!! It was the most romantic moment, and the ambiance of the spa had a lot to do with that. It was very clean and I appreciated the protocol in place to help us feel comfortable during these COVID times. We cant wait to go again! Thank you, Sandy and Jaqi!

By far the worst spa experience I have ever had. Firstly was our private yoga lesson, which consisted of a few basic poses with little description of what we were actually doing, the likes of which resembled warm up stretches one would perform before a high school sport. 40 minutes of this yoga was followed by the women rambling on about chakras for 15 minutes, throwing in phrases like ocean and smell the lavender here and there. Then was our massage, which consisted of the therapist rubbing the same couple spots over and over again, and flip flopping between my feet and shoulders. Then was a cold shower, in a dirty bathroom full of half opened old bottles of nondescript liquid. There followed a sauna that barely reached above 100 degrees. Overall an awful experience, and on top of it the women insisted we pay a tip! If you want to pay 150USD for a laugh, this is the perfect place to go.

The best hidden treasure in L.A., actually Venice. I planned a spa party for a friends birthday and it was amazing! The staff is exceptionally nice and accommodating. The spa suite was beautiful and the location is breathtaking.They offer a range of services including beach yoga which is what I am starting in the fall. They are far more affordable than other high end spas that dont offer near the personal touch. A largely undiscovered paradise right here in L.A.

I just got and hour of massage, an hour of facial and enjoyed the infra red sauna for an amazing deal! Just like the owner said it was like a retreat day experience. Julie, my masseuse therapist is so good! Definitely going back!

One of the most unprofessional experiences Ive had. My appt was at 1:30. When i got there, the door was locked and a note to call a number...which I did. Someone finally came out at 1:45 and told me the owner went to get the keys. So i again waited until 2:00... finally got into the 1 room facility and was told the therapist was running late amd was still in traffic.The owner them said she could do my massage but wasnt going to bc she didnt feel great and didnt want to give me her negative energy. WTH?! No aditional services or drinks were even offered for my time waiting...even tho they offer hot teas and aromatherapies. No discount offered amd the owner Even had the audacity to include the tip in my credit card charge Without authorizing at 1stIf my back wasnt KILLING me, I would have left immediately! Would never go back

The sacred environmental was beautiful with the location at the beach and decor reminded me of being back in Bali. I felt genuine care from the Theripest and the body work I received was the best I ever had. I only gave it four stars because I haven’t checked out the entire place. They create private spa experiences and they have private spa suites with private showers and they were all booked becuse I booked last minute . I will go back and take a tour it looked very I interesting and Iwill Defoe coming back to seemly therapist there

My friend and I had an awesome time working with Sandi, she was very kind and accommodating ( thank you! ) I loved how intimate and private the space is. Everything was clean, neat and relaxing. I enjoyed my massage and facial. Will visit again when Im in LA 💛

They were warm and welcoming. I loved that she talked me through the areas she was working on and how my daily routine effects my body. The Indian head massage was incredible. I will absolutely be returning for another session.

First & foremost, once I walked in I realized this isn’t what is advertised on the website. The pictures of what this place should be and what it actually is were very different (night & day). But then you walk in the lady with Australian accent was very unprofessional and had a nasty attitude. I thought to ignore all these facts to get the massage and leave but then I was getting ready to get on the massage table and it was filthy & disgusting. You could see they didn’t change the sheets forever also smelled terrible. All around nasty experience- Stay away from this place.

Sandi was great to work with. This was my first chakra visit. Something more people need to do. I felt it working during the treatment, she took extra time and care to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. Will come back for sure.

I found this place online as Im new to the area. I decided to give a try because of stars. It is a cute place, however; there were issues 1. Music was horrible and piercing. 2. My esthetician was very nice but Im not paying for that @ $115. I wanted a great application, experience , & friendly esthetician for that price. Ive had many facials in Luxury Spas for cheaper that were done much nicer. The whole facial was just poorly applied. 3. Massage of shoulders, hands, feet was like that awkward handshake from a stranger, no passion in it. 4. The extraction was ok, there was plenty more that couldve been done. 5. At the end when a cream was applied it was almost as if I was being slapped in the face having the cream applied. This was probably worth $50 and I paid $115. Unfortunately I have to say its the worst facial Ive ever had. Hopefully this can be taken as a review that improvement is made upon. I will not recommend nor return.

I love going to create a chakra. It’s always so relaxing and soothing. .This place has been in business for 20 years and I know why, the place is beautiful, I love the garden cabanas as well and the people are so accommodating love this place

Sheets on massage bed weren’t clean. Felt like I was laying on someones grime. Tea was served in plastic cups.. owner is delusional

I can barely believe this place exists and that if it did it should be in a comedy series. It is as if a group of women got together one day and decided to open a spa never having learned a thing about yoga or massage. The most inexpert, haphazard, chaotic experience in a cluttered, cold and unkempt studio. And we were forced to tip.

I’m really disappointed by this place , everything here was decent . The massages felt good , the spa tub felt good . I booked a special and was expecting to pay that price . She added almost 100 extra dollars for who knows what . She claims it’s gratuity .my price went for 200 something (couple massage) to almost 400 . I’m very disappointed

Theres a severely mentally ill woman squatting in the stairwell on your property who screams in a fit of rage day and night. shes been there for well over a month. This is not a good for you.
