Apparently, I started at the top for my first drag show. I had so much fun. I needed food in my system, but was loving the experience so much, I started in a little late. The ladies did their thang in keeping us entertained and excited! The staff was outstanding our waiter was the best!!! The food was delicious and the servings were big. I always wanted to see a show & am so glad the Palace was my first.
Really fun place to get drinks and a appetizer. This is a place to add to your list of must see in South Beach. At 730pm till 11 there is a drag show every 15 min or so. The performers were beautiful, and did a great job. We had a really good time. We knew what we were getting into and made sure we had dollars to tip them when they strutted their stuff! We had drinks and chips with guacamole.
We were in South Beach for the Madonna concert and we went to the Palace every day and night. The food tastes great, the drinks are good, The servers are gorgeous, and the show was amazing. It was a friends birthday and the cheesecake was delicious! We had a blast and will definitely be back again next time.
I am not sure about food, we didn’t eat there, we had couple of drinks and enjoyed queer show. The service great! Beautiful and welcoming people and amazing show. Small mistake, I got shot in dirty glass, but I returned it and got replacement very fast. And the green tea shots were too sour. Overall amazing place!Update: food is okay, nothing amazing but prices are not too crazy either. But the show, drinks and general atmosphere amazing as always. It’s worth to get dinner here and watch performances ❤️Love this place, will always come back!
The palace drag show was amazing. We made reservations and had a fantastic table out by the sidewalk. The performers made sure they worked the whole entire crowd. The food was delicious, drinks were on point and desserts were delightful. I would highly recommend making this a stop if youre in South Beach.
People say you dont get good service on South Beach because of the compulsory gratuities. They must never have had Brunch at the Palace with Marcus inside at the bar. He never left my mimosa glass (empty even though I had Pineapple instead of Orange which is what everyone else was drinking), he made sure our food was correct, and he made us feel welcome and special. We could see him giving the same attention to all his tables. Not only is Marcus attentive AND attractive (the most beautiful person in a club full of beautiful people) but he can boots the house down! 10s across the board!
The place to be every night of the week! We had a reservation on a Monday at 8:30 pm and it was like a Saturday night so like I said it’s a party 7 days a week !!! Highly recommend. Have been to many drag shows and this one takes the cake! My partners first time at one and he LOVED it. It’s a must go. Plus the food was delicious. All around 10 out of 10
First I will state that the drag show itself is FANTASTIC!! The atmosphere was amazing, we went during brunch time and had a really fun time. However, the food was very hit or miss. I got the acai bowl which came frozen and my friend got the steak and eggs with the steak being way overcooked. The pancakes were really good though! I think lesson is to just stick with the basics. You dont go here for the food, you come here for the atmosphere.Service was a little slow but it seemed like each waiter had A LOT of tables to attend to.
The food is great and so was the atmosphere; we went for drag brunch and had a blast. Not giving it 5 stars because we were seated in the one booth that was not sheltered by the roof and got our backs incinerated by the sun and wet by the rain moments later (thanks Miami weather)...also, tables layout made it difficult to get full view of the show, specially when queens danced or dipped in the middle aisle.
This place is so amazing. Great hangoutspot for delicious drinks. A good show with beautiful queens giving great energy and vibes. I havent tried the food, but it appeared to me that everyone was enjoying themselves. For drinks, I recommend the Malibu Barbie with a sugar rim. They offer a variety of hooka flavoring choices, I enjoy the Pina colada aroma. I also cant say enough on how wonderful the service is. Both nights Ive come here they were so attentive, friendly and just a joy to be around. Even security and what appeared to be the host, all give great vibes. Highly recommend giving this place a try and please dont forget to tip your queens, they always give such a great show. 👌
You are definitely paying for the location and the view from the rooftop, not for service or food. We were there in the mid-afternoon and chose the rooftop for the view of South Beach. There was one bartender who was not particularly happy to be there, a couple small groups sitting at tables, and then three or four little kids splashing around in the rooftop pool. It was pretty quiet. You order food at the bar, and it takes a while to get up there. It was pretty basic at best. If you go here, enjoy the drag show and stay at the street level for a better experience.
Amazing place! Been there a couple weeks ago for brunch and we had so much fun! The show was awesome, but what we loved most was Dalmiro’s service. He truly made us have an amazing experience, suggesting us great plates, keeping mimosas filled till top and dancing with the rest of the crew! We’ ll be back soon for more!!
Food was better than expected and mimosas were slightly watered down but flowing. Queens were great and they brought the energy. Also loved the clapping hand fans. However, removed 2 stars because we made reservations and had a seat on the side. The queens rarely came around and we had to stand up and move into the aisle to see them do anything cool.
Drinks and hookah were great, our server was super attentive and so much fun. We were celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday and the queens gave her so much attention, our entire group had a blast. Coming here was definitely the highlight of our entire trip to Miami. Thank you Palace! Next time we’re in town we’re definitely coming to brunch.
This place is definitely show-girl version of dope Dining experience. I loved it!The feature headlining Queens who deliver a lyrical and acrobatic performance you will never forget, all while u eat!Our waiter was attentive, gave great recommendations and was so sweet to us.Our food was flavorful, delicious, fresh and looked better than what I expected from the menu. When in Miami Beach & u want a show plus a dinner GO HERE!
I was there for New years eve, and i left a bit disappointed. I know there was a big nite, it was also full, but... These are the occasions where you have to do your best to be sure customers will leave satisfied. Its true they have an amazing show and the drag queens are amazing and the performances are. Stunning... But if you also have a dinner going on you have also to. Concentrate on it. The starters were quite poor... The salad came with no dressing, just leaves and a small piece of cheese. The jumbo shrimp cocktail... Well they were just plain with some guacamole in the corner and some tomatoes dressing... Again quite poor! In the pic you can see the sea bass, with a butter on top that never melted because the dish was cold. The potatoes tarte was cold and hard. I would send it back if was not for the fact that we waited 1:30h or 90mins.before having them. We asked three times for our dishes and the waiter apologised but nothing else. My friend he asked for the chicken option and again was cold and dry. The desserts again we waited about 1h and the brang of course the wrong one. For the price (194$ per person) i would say was such a very poor service, not talking about the waiters, they were friendly but maybe too many tables to follow. After noticing those mistakes anyway we didnt received anything else than a simple Im so sorry. Its a pity cause i dont feel to book a brunch in here after this experience.
We had such a great time here! The ambiance, food and drinks were amazing. But the best part was the entertainment! Much thanks to our server Roberto for being so responsive and hospitable!
Did not eat there so I cannot comment on the food. Drinks are wonderful however they were way overpriced!!! The night show with wonderful The nightlife is great. Definitely a place to go and check out! You will have the time of your life.
Amazing! The queens were so talented and it was such a diverse lineup that each queen brought a completely unique touch. Food was ok, bottomless mimosas were great; only downer was the super rude security guard spreading bad vibes in an otherwise great vibes place.
My friends and I went for a Sunday brunch during Pride weekend to celebrate a friends Bachelorette/birthday weekend. We only expected a good show but the food and service was top notch as well! Our cute server, David was so attentive and amazing! He never let our glasses go empty. He made sure we had a great time. The performances were all the hype! And all the staff there, servers & bartender, were all friendly and sweet.I highly recommend this place for an amazing experience. Good show, good food and food service!
We were bar hopping on the south beach strip and were lured in by a beautiful bubble blowing queen. She was warm and welcoming and we decided to come have drinks 😄 The drinks were cute and definitely instagramable. The atmosphere was nice and I felt welcomedIn every direction. Service is so important and I’m happy they are able to deliver. We will definitely make a pit stop here again before we fly back.
We went for the drag brunch and it was so much fun! Each meal is a set price ($45) and you can order bottomless mimosas, bottles, coffee, etc.Biggest bummer is that there were not many vegan/vegetarian options. The only vegan/gluten free option was the berry salad which only had a few berries & toppings.Everyone else was generally pleased with their meal. One order came out with chicken that wasn’t cooked through but they were very gracious about getting a replacement out asap. The environment is top notch and you won’t be disappointed by the show and music!
Palace Bar was such an experience. The staff was great and SEXY whichever way you swing. The show, the performance, the bartenders, the waiters, oh the security WAS AMAZING!!!!! They kept us dancing eating and drinking. If you go, have them $1,5,10,20 bills ready if not ask them and they have singles. They are worth every bit. Food was good, I had two drinks from the bar and mimosas while watching the show. I was feeling soooo good after the show. A must see..
We made a reservation 5-6 months in advance for my friend’s birthday weekend in Miami for the Sunday drag brunch. Granted we were about 5-10mins late to our reservation but they almost sat us at a 4 seater table in the back, we ended up getting a 6 seater a little closer to the front, which was much better (but not ideal ideal). Not sure how they reserve the seats based on reservation, but it seemed disorganized or first come first serve based on arrival. So I would be mindful of that if you do go.The waiter was great, I didn’t catch his name but he was very fun and made us feel welcomed. Service was a bit slow but with that crowd it made sense. They were able to exchange any bills you had for singles, to give to the drag queens. Also, you can purchase a palace fan for $15, which was fun to clack with the crazy vibes of the venue. The bottomless mimosas were aplenty and they didn’t stop flowing for like 1.5 hours. In our group we ordered the Chicken + Waffle, Steak & Eggs, and Flautas. I highly recommend the Chicken + Waffle and Flautas, I was surprised how good it was. The steak tasted kind of chewy and meh.My friend ordered shots and it was like $14 a pop. He asked for the prices before he ordered and seemed like a miscommunication cause when we saw the bill it was $84 for 6 shots. More pricier than we expected but whatever. The drag show was lit right off the bat, the energy and vibes were so fun. Everyone was having the time of their life and the people around us were so nice. All the drag queens walk around and interact with the crowd, my friend had a birthday crown/sash and was engaged with most of the drag queens. This was truly a one-of-kind experience that you can only find in Miami (coming from NYC), if you wanna have fun and get ratchet this is the place to be. The minor setbacks mentioned were quickly thrown in the back of our minds. I would come again.
I was really looking forward to this place and the show. I like to support my community and the performers. I was traveling from OH and made my reservations 2 weeks in advance. When my friends and I arrived we were seated at a table on the sidewalk in front of the building next door. My friend who lives in Miami informed me we would not see the show or hear anything from where we were seated, he has seen the show in the past. A staff member also told me they were not good seats to see the show. I have now read the other reviews and I cannot believe they continue to sell tickets to people to seat them in seats where they dont see the majority of the show and for the same price as the seats up front. At the very least they should sell tickets where you choose your seat and you pay for the best seats, like a theater does. I spoke to the gentleman who I think was in charge he was pleasant, but when I said I made my reservations a long time ago he did not seem to think 2 weeks was long ago. He also told me I could stand around for 15 or 20 minutes to see if there were no shows and he could seat me by the stage. I declined this offer since I am 62 and have health concerns with my legs and had already been standing for some time. I dont believe all those people up front made their reservations before me, I think I was seated out of sight on the sidewalk next door because I was visiting and they figured I would not know any better and if I had not had my friend with me from Miami I wouldnt have known and would have stayed and been very upset that I did not see the show but was still paying the same price as everyone else. Unfortunately due to this experience I will not be going back to the Palace.
My family of 5 (all over 21) had an AMAZING time at the Palace Bar Drag Show in South Beach! Our waiter, Eli, was extremely attentive to all of our needs and the entertainment was top notch. All of the food items we ordered were exactly as we expected. Served fast and delicious. Highly recommend a night at the Palace Bar. A trip to South Beach isn’t the same without it!!
This place is 5+ stars! I had no idea something like this even existed until my girlfriend and I walked down the strip and saw a huge crowd surrounded with loud music and dancing. We decided to make a reservation for brunch and we were not disappointed. This place is a blast!! Our waiter was awesome, constantly filling up our unlimited mimosas and making sure we were all good. The food was shockingly unbelievable taste wise. Everything was delicious but as soon as the show started it didnt matter. This was one of our favorite experiences at Miami Beach.
First time at Drag Brunch (on a Sunday)It was f#%king amazing!!The show didn’t disappoint, and we went in there with no expectations at all. But the queens were stupendous!!Bottomless mimosas were great (our awesome waiter Sacha kept our glasses full the entire time) and the bar drinks were delicious. The food was surprisingly very good as well!!Palace has this gig down and we were thrilled about everything!!
I attended a drag brunch and definitely got what I paid for. Brunch and bottomless mimosas with a fun show!Shout out to our server Francisco who was attentive and extremely friendly. One of the best service we got on Ocean Drive.
Great, fun and vibrant atmosphere. Everybody who goes to Miami Beach should stop by for brunch. The prices are not bad, taking into consideration the location. The servers take good care of you, the bartenders are a lot of fun and the show gets everybody jumping. Make sure to visit the pool at the rooftop bar.
This place was everything and more of what I was informed it was. Went for brunch and for $50 it was mimosa pitchers and a choice of what seemed like an appetizer that was filling and just right. Reminder that service charge is included so no need for tip, I wasn’t told of this. But overall, my experience was wonderful and the waiters were stunning and the drag queens killed it down.Conrado G was our waiting and was lovely.
Came here for a drag dinner and had an amazing time! The food and drinks were very reasonably priced and delicious (obsessed with the salmon) and the entertainment was spot on. Definitely a vibe and one that is perfect for a night out! Absolutely would recommend for a one of a kind, unique experience.
A friend wanted to go so we went with him. I am a girl and I have never been some where like this. Drag Queen culture is still new to me. So just keep that in mind if u read on.20% gratitude.Food was okay and super expensive. My friend did like his burger though.☹️Shows took to long to start and to much time between each show. The Queen’s shows were good. I liked the Queen that changed her outfit the most. When we wanted our check it took forever to flag down our waiter.Over all not a good first time experience.
Best drag brunch ever. Such a shame that the city took away all the outdoor street seating as the show was so much better for everyone to see. Now it’s all broken up and the queens can’t really get around. We were sat by the door in the back and missed 97% of the show which sucked but was out of the venue’s control. Still a blast, just wish there was a way to have more visible seats to the drag brunch show.
Most wandering place to go. Awesome customer service. Ren was are waiter he was so awesome so sweet so polite he did an outstanding job. The show was awesome it was the best show I ever seen the performers did an outstanding job ,all the performers was so polite they will sign your fan. You can get the fan for $15. Even tho it is kinda expensive it is all worth it. The shows the food and drinks was really good and worth every dime. The host C C Glitzer was off the chain had the crowd going got everyone involved. You can be you at the palace come as you are. Its all about the love and support. If you are in Miami go to south Beach and check out the palace. The DJ was did an outstanding job. I cant say enough good things about the palace. Everyone one from are waiter to the host everyone did an outstanding job. The cooks are outstanding the food was delicious. The bartender know what they are doing outstanding job. Everything about this place is good. The location of the palace is good you have the beach right there. Please go give the palace your love and support they work there buts off to give you the best experience you can ever want
We found ourselves here on a Sunday night...super chill vibes, great staff, and wonderful drinks. One of the highlights of our Miami Beach trip! HIGHLY recommend this spot for anyone looking for a great place to dance and cut loose.
I swear I cannot say enough about how great this place was! So reasonable for food and bottomless mimosas, restrooms very clean and the service was GREAT! Our drink were never empty and the vibe was so so fun! I highly recommend this wonderful place! Can’t wait to go again!
My friends and I went to Palace for Drag Brunch to kickoff her Bachelorette Party and we had an absolute blast! The performances were so fun to be a part of and the Drag Queens were amazing. The servers were attentive (and so handsome!!) and the food/bottomless mimosas were great to! Follow @smallgirl_bigappetite for more pics!
I absolutely didn’t like the part where they hold guest’s credit card and personal ID during the entire brunch. Plenty of time to copy details. Despite that I did it anyway since it’s towards the last day of my holiday. And guess what, in the evening I received 3 unauthorised charges into the card. I suggest the management to rework on a new process to ensure they do not hold credit card anymore. After all we are paying 20% service charge and how difficult can it be to have payment done right at the beginning for brunch, and to take payment for subsequent orders?
The Palace was amazing! $50 for bottomless mimosas, and entree and admission to the drag show! The drag queens were FIERCE. We had an amazing time. I had the French toast and it was delicious. They do pack a lot of people in the restaurant space so we were very close to the people next to us. That would be its only downfall!
This place was lit. The food was decent and mimosas really hit the spot. The atmosphere was way over the top than what I was expecting. The service was really good with the craziness that was going on at this place. I was totally not expecting a Crunk a$$ party during brunch but it was different. This place holds its own on the strip. They put on quite the show and even drew a crowd outside of this place. Bring your dollar bills and be ready to shake that a$$. AND bring an appetite. I know what you may read is totally different that what youre use to, but dont be afraid to bring an open mind and have a good time...that is all Im going to say!
Just an amazing place with a great environment. I had a blast and told everyone back home about it. All of the performances were fantastic and so much fun. Oh and lets not forget about the servers just great vibes from morning to night fall
Drag brunch was so much fun and our server did an amazing job! Food was pretty good, big serving portions. Mimosas seemed to be mostly OJ
Great performers!!! Had a blast from the overall energy of the brunch. We made a reservation a week in advance for the 2pm brunch. We knew we were running about 30-40 mins late so I called in advance to let them know. When we got there, we got seated in the further possible table. Still had a great time, my only wish is that I could’ve seen the whole performance. I got the tostones and it was pretty bad. The plantains were extremely hard like they were stale and the steak wasn’t good so i couldn’t eat it. My friend had the French toast and it was a hugeeee serving size. Come for the show and energy, not the food.
My husband and I went to Palace for their Drag Brunch on Sunday, 11-21-21 for the 2pm showing. The show was fabulous - the girls dazzled, their routines were engaging and fantastic. We were in South Beach for a brief vacation before the Thanksgiving holiday and this was a fantastic highlight to our trip. If you’re on the fence about booking a seating - DO IT, you will not regret it!! Food is good, bottomless mimosas are literal, and your attention will be fixed on the Queens. During our show Tiffany Fantasia was our MC, with Akasha Taylor Lord, Tiara Love Dupree and Joanna James as performers - each were fabulous in their own right ✨ it’s a must-see when you’re in South Beach!
One of my favorite places in Miami!! The Palace is THE MOST energetic, happy, welcoming places I’ve ever been to! While walking throughout South Beach Miami I overheard the great music and I knew I had to go. Then I was welcomed by an amazing Hostess (Marcos), and I’ve been there everyday since!! Love love love this amazing place!!!
This whole place is a vibe! Loved the food and servers! Everyone was super attentive and friendly. Had an amazing experience and i highly recommend for you to check out if you haven’t been.
Sunday brunch and roof top tea dance is so much fun! Amazing drag queens that bring it live and in the street. The roof top bar has the best view in all of South Beach. The staff is super nice and super good looking. They have specials on mimosas and that seemed to be the thing to get. They have a full bar so you can get whatever you want. On this Sunday it was really crowded but the service was still good. Be prepared to laugh and be entertained. The crowd is mixed in every way possible and everyone is smiling. If you bring children you might be explaining some things. I wish I could give the Palace 6 stars because it really is that fun!
It was okay. They offer a Show but only for those who sit outside, so if u r having a seat inside, its just a overrated bar with Sexy Staff. The drinks were just solala. Never had a Margarita without a salty corners b4. Most were just tourists and they put automatically tip so better check b4 u add extra tip! 😉
Came for the drag shows from 7-11 and dinner. Absolutely incredible. Poison Ivy was the best host on the planet. She made us feel welcome and had us smiling the whole time with her jokes and charisma. The drag shows are sooo worth it. Amazing. The burger we got here was one of the best burgers weve ever had (it had steak on it). Reasonable food prices for the area. Dont miss this while youre in Miami...it will be the highlight of your trip!!!
Worst experience by far!! I come to Miami all the time and I always try to bring my friends to this place and for the most part we’ve had a good experience until this last time…. April 19th Saturday AM brunch. The manager called me stupid in front of my face for asking if we could get a table closer to the front. He thought I didn’t speak Spanish but I do.. then they proceeded to charge me $80 for bottomless mimosas when I told them I don’t drink, and didn’t drink they still forced me to pay what everyone who drank paid. I’m so upset with this experience and honestly disappointed I always speak so highly of this establishment and I will never be going back. And if ur not sat somewhere towards the middle the show sucks
If you ever wake up and just need to feel a little love and happiness. This is the place to go. The atmosphere is explosive. The ladies and wait staff are sexy and talented. The food was awesome!!! Our waiter Taylor was fantastic!
Was not my first time at the Palace, but it was my first time on a solo vacation. I believe my servers name was Roberto and he made me feel so welcome and took such good care of me. Not to mention all of the performers were absolutely incredible. Highly recommend!!
Beware if you are a black woman, dont spend lots of money (only there for drinks and the show)… they will ask you to leave mid show!My friend and I were visiting from Atlanta and made it a point to support a LGBTQ business. We heard amazing things about the palace. So we went. We arrived in the area around 6:30pm and talked with the host about what we needed to do to get a table. He advised for us to just come back when we were ready and that the show started around 7:30. We arrived back to the palace at 7:15pm. There was plenty of seating. We were seated. We ordered a Long Island tea and a vape. Our total was around $50. The show started at about 7:45pm. After the first performance the server asked if we were ordering anything else, we stated not at this time. He said we had been there an hour and this table is reserved. No one was waiting from what we can see waiting. There are two other tables in the area and several in the-none entertainment area. We are the only two black women in the place. A few others (not black) were there before we arrived. They were not asked to leave. We decide to finish our drink and then head out. The server then tells a host to tell us again to move before we finished our drink. It was upsetting. Don’t waste your money here.
My mom and I had made a reservation for 2 at Palace for their drag brunch. We checked in at the time of our reservation and waited in a long line. At the front of the line, the host didn’t check us in and shuffled us along with a larger party thinking we were part of it. When I realized it I went back and told him that I hadn’t yet checked in. He then told me “I’ve never seen you before in my life, you need to get your ID checked”. When I told him I had already waited in line, he seemed very irritated with me. He then finally checked me in and then proceeded to seat us in a dark corner in the bar that didn’t even have any table arrangements or anything. We ended up leaving instead of sitting down as we felt that this would not have been the experience we paid for. It was very disappointing as I had looked forward to this for quite some time.
First and foremost the staff was very nice. The guy sitting people ALWAYS had a smile on his face and just overall seemed happy. We were seated righted away and the food was sooo good. I had the pork tacos and couldnt stop. I also ordered some potatoe salad and that was really good. Server was great too. I wish we were there at night to see the queens, but that will be another time. Thank yall for great food and good service.
Come for the food, enjoy the show! This place is fun, the food is wonderful, the price is reasonable, and it is in the heart of South Beach. What more could anybody ask for? There are some reviews complaining about poor service, but we had the opposite experience. The wait staff was attentive and helpful. I highly recommend the cauliflower bites.
I went there for Weekend Brunch and It was a wonderful experience the entertainment is A1 as far as the brunch menu it’s not an huge selection so that would be the only downside for me because I’m and huge foodie but they do have unlimited mimosas which I made up for the food. But overall very great experience!!!
Update:Definitely make reservations! This place has gotten a lot more busier and more packed since I was here last. Bust out those dollar bills for the queens! I went for drag brunch and there was a line to get in because of so many reservations. Definitely hard to get a seat for a group if you come later. Its a $50 per person for Bottomless Mimosas and an Entree. Fabulous deal! They have shows at 11 am and 2 pm. The queens are fabulous and youll have a wonderful time!--This IS the dining place you want to be at on South Beach. Fabulous cocktails and really good simple food. Their Firecracker Shrimp Tacos are yummy and wont break the bank. Let the cocktails do that for you.Haha, the tacos are super filling without being too much so you can still get your drink on to get your buzz. Good flavor and just what you want! Shrimp, slaw, and flavor!I got three cocktails here. All really good and enjoyable. Youll get a good buzz for sure! I started out with their Palace Classic Mojito. It was just that--a well made mojito. Next, I went for the Blueberry Mojito. Really pretty!! And I enjoyed the blueberry taste. Unfortunately the photo just looks like a normal mojito. Last, I got Toms Spicy Margarita. This is my jam. Im all about spicy cocktails right now so this hit the spot. Highly recommend if you like things a little more on the hot side. The downside really is that its crowded af, but totally worth it for the high energy drag, sexy staff, and good vibes. By far the highlight of my time when I go to South Beach!!
Genuinely crazy experience! Loved the drag show.Went during brunch time, $55 + taxes + 20% service charge!Came to about $73ish per person. The show was about 2 hours long.Food - Plain, bland food. 2/5Ambiance - 5/5Recommend if you’re around South beach!
We had an amazing time here! We made reservations ahead of time for the 2pm drag Queen show on a Sunday. $45 included unlimited mimosas and an entree and show. The show was amazing and especially our waiter Danny! So down to earth and very attentive!!! 5 stars for the show, 5 stars for the environment and 5 stars for our waiter!
Good for a larger group. We got tickets for a table for two well in advance but were seated in the back of a different room and had trouble seeing the show. It would have been easier to see it from the street. From the brief moments we saw it looked like a great show and would have been happy to share a table with others.
We went for the Saturday brunch during a bachelorette weekend. The French toast was amazing!!!Some of my group had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was very much UNDER-SEASONED on its own. Apparently it was better with the sauce…The mimosas were a little watery but the entertainment was EVERYTHING!!! (I gave a 4th star because they were so good 🥰)Our server Brian was a sweetie-pie.
I did not go for food but for drinks. The bartender just took my 20 dollar bill, said nothing and kept it. No change. Didnt know if I should tip or not. Mostly a place for straight tourists, so if you want a more authentic gay drag queen atmosphere, this is not the place for you.
I’ve never been to SOBE without reserving a table to the most amazing brunch I have ever been to! It honestly never gets old for me! The food is phenomenal, the vibes are unmatched, and let’s not forget the most important part…THE TALENT!!! Phewwww!! I am honestly blown away at every show, and I will always come back for more! 🙌🏽🥳
As soon as I booked my trip to Miami, I knew this was one of the places I could not miss out on. Every second I spent here was marvelous. We went during brunch, the food and the unlimited mimosas were to die for. The drag queens were fierce and fabulous! The atmosphere is amazing and I definitely bought a fan to bring back home.
Absolutely brilliant. I dont like drag but ended up there for 3 hours early afternoon. The atmosphere was electric. The performers were true professionals, doing their thing, interacting with the customers (while performing and going round chatting) and really encouraging audience participation. Rude, not crude. A totally unmissable experience. Take plenty of 1 dollar bills so you can tip frequently while they perform.
Don’t waste your time…My boyfriend and I went down to Miami for his birthday weekend and both agreed palace was a must go to because we both have never been.& Honestly for something so hyped on social media I was really let down.Wasn’t impressed with the drag brunch whatsoever and I’ve seen quite a few.We waited over 30 minutes to get just a glass of water. It felt like they were forcing the unlimited mimosas onto us as well. The food is overpriced and should underwhelming to be honest.
Going to give this place a 2.5 for the following:Pros:-Our server was amazing and attentive. He deserves to be recognized for his service.-the drag queens absolutely rip it-Food tastes goodCons:-Best seats are given to girls and attractive white men. Doesnt matter how in advance you book or how early you get in. Just know that if you dont fit this, youll get placed at the back of the bus where you dont see most of the show. We were here before any of the seats were filled and were put at the back.-Mimosas are waterered down. You will only get a slight buzz after 8-10 glasses of Mimosas. At that point we were literally just trying.
Service was slow, drinks weak. Constantly trying to be sold vapes, hookahs, pictures, etc. Music was good but we weren’t aware it was a drag show at night and it was loud and annoying to have dinner.Food was decent albeit over priced and the service charge is included at 20% which is ridiculous. Also make you give id and card at the table. More of a circus than a vibe.
Went for drag brunch. The performers were absolutely incredible. The music was way too loud, so don’t expect to be able to talk with your friends. I recommend bringing ear plugs. Someone in our group actually left to buy some. It was all you can drink mimosas for two hours, plus mediocre brunch for $75 per person (including tax and tip). So you’re definitely going for the performance and not the food.
This place is absolutely amazing! My favorite adventure while I was in Miami. The food and drinks are delicious. The show was amazing and the serves was incredible. Our waiter was attentive, always checking in too see if we needed anything. If you want to have a one of a kind experience go here and ask for Taylor!
How have I never reviewed this place?!?! Best drag bar in SoBe, hands down. Every time I think the performances cant get better, they once again blow my mind. Been coming here for 10 years, to two locations and were hooked for life. This time we waited a bit too long to make a reservation but LaDonna hooked us up and we had the best time.
Big crowd in the street during performances, there is a lip syncing drag queen every 15 minutes. They sing a song and dance around the area its pretty funny. Place is very busy so service is a little slow. Waiter didnt get the order right and my fiance ended up not being able to eat her meal. I had the burger and i will say it is probably the best burger in the area. My fiance is muslim and ordered the burger with no bacon.(all burgers on the menu say they have bacon) It came with bacon, we told the waiter we ordered this without bacon and he took it back to the kitchen, they took it off and gave it back to us. She lifted the bun off and there was still little remnants of bacon of it so she couldnt eat it. Didnt trust them to make a new one so i just ate it myself and we went to another place for her to eat after. The tip is automatically added to the bill at 20% but from what i saw thats in most places in miami.
Had an absolute amazing time. Came to palace 5 years ago and since the last visit they have expanded. The service is PHENOMENAL. Our server Esati (I’m probably spelling it wrong) was nothing short of amazing. He kept our glasses full and was the most accommodating person I have ever met. We were a bachelorette party of 15 and everything was fun, stunning and FABULOUS
Okay, a drag show might not be on your list of things to do in Miami, but it should be.The Palace is a famous drag bar in Miami Beach and is a ton of fun.Obviously, the wife and I arent LGTBQ, but the drag show brunch is a fun and festive event no matter what orientation you are.The food is great, and its a good deal at $50 with unlimited mimosas. The service was also the best ww had in Miami, since our drinks were never empty.Growing up in New Orleans, Ive been to drag shows before, but this one takes the cake. Its truly a performance art. There was also a comedy act that was hilarious.Afterwards we went up to the beach top bar which had great views.
I (I live in Miami ) recently visited the Palace in Miami with a group of friends who traveled 1080 miles to enjoy a drag show. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by inadequate seating arrangements that made it difficult to fully appreciate the performances. We were told that our friend had to sit at the bar even though it was told to the host that we are persons in recovery. After explaining this to the host he asked “what does that have to do with anything”. As individuals in recovery within the LGBTQ+ community, we value support and inclusivity. However, we felt that our needs were not considered. It would be wonderful if the Palace could ensure better seating accommodations for all patrons, especially those with specific requirements. We come for the entertainment and to support the performers, not just for the drinks. Creating a more welcoming and considerate environment for all guests, regardless of their backgrounds, would truly elevate the overall experience at the Palace.
Definitely the highlight of our trip to Miami! Bottomless mimosas, a delicious meal, and incredible entertainment from the queens made for an unforgettable experience. Our waitress was so sassy and delightful—I only wish my champagne-addled brain held on to her name! This is a MUST for anyone looking to experience the gay scene in Miami.
This place is fun! Our bartender (I dont remember his name but he was tall as hell and from Birmingham AL) was great and the atmosphere is awesome.
We had the best time! $45/person for drag brunch which includes the two-hour show, a breakfast entree, and bottomless mimosas. I had the steak and eggs entree which was fantastic! A surprisingly high-quality cut of steak and hearty portions. Leo was an amazing server. Can’t wait to go back on my next Miami adventure!
Tommy was a fabulous waiter. He catered to our every need. The entertainment was fabulous!!!! There eas never a dull moment. Miami was really good to meeeeee!!😁😍
Great place, our waiter Francisco was amazing and the show was super, recommend to go in early to get good seats but you will have fun either way 10/10 experience
I loved it here!! The food was good and my drink was good too. I went a while ago so I do not remember what it is called. I want to say it was like a piña colada, but I do not remember. The entertainment was also amazing!!! Everyone performed really well and the crowd was very open and interactive. Loved it here!!
Booked for 9pm for dinner and the experience of a show. They either overbooked or had too many walk-ins as basically no capacity left unless sitting away from everything. This was the case for multiple of us (approximately 8-9 couples) while waiting for seats to open up.Very unprofessional and disappointed after making a reservation for our Saturday night out.
💯🔥🔥Where to start, great service, food, endless drinks, the show, and everything in between made this trip. Laughter galore and memories were made. I’d like to personally thank all the Queens absolutely the best thing i’ve experienced on top of our (all caps) AMAZING waiter, Mikey it was something we will NEVER forget. Mikey went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable so much so I felt the need to take a photo with him! Good service is hard to come by but this was above standards and then some. He provided his favorites on the menu, offered a new table when it started to sprinkle, tips/how too’s, what to expect, and his upbeat caring personality was the cherry on top. Definitely would encourage a raise for him or form of appreciation whatever you do just don’t lose him. The french toast for brunch is a 10/10. Huge portion size, great flavor, and the center is filled with heaven like the Palace itself. You don’t find good service & the complete package like this. As being our first time I will definitely be telling all I know to check it out when they are in town!!🤗
The Ken wannabe at the entrance treated us like the lowest on the totem pole, I was really disgusted with his low self-esteem demeanor and customer service, made us leave when nobody else had too,. All b/c he put us in the back b/c of our race. I told him I hated the seat and he got pissed b/c I told him this....He is the ugliest there.....I love Palace though..
Awesome the black short hair hostes was amaze and truly made us feel welcome because of hershe made or night food n drink were good
I had the worst experience here and I’m 100% sure they hate black people. So they had no seats for us even though we had a reservation and we had beg them to seat us somewhere decent. We still couldn’t really see the show but once we were seated we were basically ignored for a while and then our waiter comes to take our order. I tell him if they do anything for bdays because It was my bday week so he says yes and ask what kind of tequila I want, so I tellhim and he bring out 4 shots for my table. The bill comes and it’s almost $400 for absolutely nothing. I asked him why he charged me $64 for 4 shots and $10 for water he tells me nothing in Miami is free which I understand but he could’ve told me that before bring my entire table shots knowing they weren’t free.I told him the night before I got free bday drinks and he ask me what year it was like I didn’t just tell him it was yesterday. Point is he was extremely rude and a liar I will never come back to this place. His name was Davide B so beware.
Why beg people to come to the show and then ask them to leave? My friend and walked by this place several times while after eating and having drinks at another restaurant and the host was practically begging people to come to the drag show later. We were told we could just come back closer to show time at 7:30. We were seated outside close to bar around 7. The show didnt start until closer to 7:45. We ordered one drink and a vape. (The drink was weak and was $21 after taxes and gratuity. )After the first performance the waitor came over and asked if we were going to order anything else. When I said not right now he told us he had reservation for the table and we had been there over an hour. There were 2 empty tables next to us and there were people who had been there longer than us, but we, l the only 2 Black women, were asked to leave. We didnt leave immediately and the host came over to us and said he needed the table. I asked If we ordered more drinks would you still need the table? and he just laughed. If we needed a reservation thay should be stated when the host told us about the show.We were actually enjoying the vibe and entertainers before this happened. This place was recommended from LGBT friends that visited a few ago but I will never go back or recommend it to anyone.
Visiting from New York. We happened to be a group of Asian men. We arrived on time to the drag brunch and there were plenty of tables outdoors, which was where we wanted to be seated. We quickly got shafted all the way back to the very back corner of the whole restaurant. It was clearly intentional because afterwards no one else was directed to the area in the back with us. We upped and left.
AMAZING drag brunch! I was absolutely blown away by the talent of the Queens, especially Elishaly DWitshes, who I am sure is destined to be very famous. These are world class performers. I was very impressed by the food as well! I am celiac and emailed the manager, Tony, prior to my visit to make sure it was safe for me to eat. His chef Daniel was able to accommodate me and I had a fantastic meal! They were so kind and welcoming. The service was outstanding as well - I dont think my mimosa glass was ever empty. This is a must visit destination!
Probably our favorite part of the trip! The show seems to start around 8pm, we got there saturday night around 10, got a table right away thankfully and had a great time. Wings and burger tasted delicious and the drinks were decent. Every 20-30min they do a show and those queens werkk. They engage the crowd, make you laugh, and put on an amazing show all night long. If youre looking to see drag queens, this is the best place to see them in a friendly, fun environment with food and plenty of drinks.
Noah the bartender was WONDERFUL. Made wonderful drinks and was attentive to keeping my glass full. Recommended the roof top patio awesome view. Great cauliflower bites and service. Rocking the music! Definitely a must visit. More than once! Btw the show is wonderfully over the top
The only takeaway is that its not much shade when sitting outside. They definitely need more fans for the outside. Other than that, everything was amazing.
The place is pretty cool the food it was ok but not excellent, but the ambience was amazing the server its was berry helpfully and nice with us. The drag show was everything 🙌
🪭🪭Tommy was the best! Service was warm and friendly. I will be returning again! Awesome way to spend a night in Miami 🪭🪭
Palace is amazing! The energy as soon as you hit the street of the restaurant is phenomenal. There’s no parking since it’s on ocean drive. However, since it’s on ocean drive the night life is full of life and they always have specials. Along with the food being great; you get a free drag show they do every night which is divine. I recommend bringing cash to give to the drag queens as they perform. The staff is super chill and very inviting. I definitely recommend coming here on the first night of visiting south beach.
This place is amazing, their music, location, service, Drag Queen Shows, etc. will make you feel great. We’ve been here before (for drinks only) and due to the fact that we are locals and we “Know” how the food could be in many restaurants around Ocean Drive we were hesitant to eat here, but as soon as they re-opened after Covid-19 we decided to give them a try and ordered two appetizers. Not only were SURPRISED by the presentation of both plates, but also the taste of the food 👍🏼We ordered the Cauliflower Bites and Fried Calamari both were amazing, we paired our food with a Lagunitas IPA & a Havana Lager. We will definitely will come back for more😉👍🏼Our waiter was Wilfredo who pay attention to the details and made sure we were having a good time.If you live in Miami or you are visiting you have to check this place out!For more tips on trips, food and bars follow us on our YouTube channel ⤵️⤵️Aventuras con los PaizIG@Aventurasconlospaiz@Isaacpaiz
Omygosh! Yassss!I cant remember when Ive had so much fun! We were in South Beach for my sisters birthday and had walked by this place on our way back to the hotel. We stopped to check out what was going on and was thrilled by the performers and their energy. So we decided to come back the next day for a show and dinner. We were quickly seated. The food was delicious, the drinks great and the performers FABULOUS! Our waiter informed us that we had been there for 4hrs...lol. Im hetero and had a blast. Just be warned the performers interact with the guest and you just might become part of the show. Its all good fun. Shot out to my girl Olga...yes girl you ROCK! The next time I visit South Beach Ill also be revisiting PALACE.
Palace is a staple and a must! The show alone is enough to sit down for brunch. The food is pitiful but people don’t go to Palace for that. The drinks are average, the mimosas on the brunch menu are a premade sugar bomb. But again, the show is EVERYTHING!!
Ok. If you want fun, drinks, hot men, outstanding drag, good food (for a bottomless brunch) - this is the place!! Top notch entertainment. Had the chicken and waffles. Chicken was tender and delicious and it was the perfect ‘standard’ chicken and waffles dish. So much fun here at the Palace!!
Was my first time here on Saturday night and it was such a good show, I came back NYE night too. The ladies are very good at what they do!!! The Palace draws the crowd more than anybody on Ocean Drive. Oh and the drinks were strong and cauliflower bites were good!!
They already charge 20% of service fee and at the end they give you a bill that does not show what you’re paying for, expecting you to give tips on top of that. I know it’s SoBe, but a drink for $39 is outrageous. The atmosphere is extremely loud to the point that your ear hurst, it was over brunch tho.
My friends and I came here twice while on vacation. I have never felt more welcome and loved than I have here. This is a family, a community, a very lovely environment. The shows were 100000000/10 and I would recommend this to everyone. We are obsessed. The servers are sooo friendly as well. And everyone is sooooo good looking. The management should be so proud of their team and proud of themselves for choosing such wonderful performers and employees. We feel so overwhelmed with joy that I feel like even this post doesn’t do it justice. Thank you so much Palace for showing us a good time!!!!!!
Always a must when visiting Miami. The family loves this place .Great food and friendly staff and great atmosphere. Dont miss the opportunity to meet some great people who actually care about their jobs and treat you first class. .thanks for the memories the stiles family
Incredible atmosphere and vibes, great prices and service. Noah was our server & he went above & beyond to make sure we enjoyed the show and our experience. The hooka girl was super helpful & seemed to love her job. Armani stopped by our table just to make sure we were having a good time.We enjoyed it so much we went back the next day after some other places disappointed us. This is what great customer service does it makes people come back! Noah, Armani, & Hooka Girl thank you for your exceptional customer service!!!!
I sent my steak and eggs back and they still didnt get it right. Potatoes and eggs came cold both times. I ordered a medium steak I got a well done and a medium rare. I understand they packed and the shows but everyone else steak & egg came correct. Annoyed. Also NO VEGAN options, they have 2 but Im lactose intolerant, and cant order from a diff menu so whomp whomp. Is what it is. Drag show was AMAZING!!! But the food was not. The amount we paid for food was not worth it. *sad face*
What an fun place to visit! The shows are beyond anything I’ve ever experienced! Beautiful host and performers, my jaw hurts from smiling and being in shock from the acrobatic stylings. Our waiter Juan was so friendly and sweet not to mention sexy and humble. The staff as a whole was so impressive it was like watching a Broadway show and everyone was making sure the performers hit their marks, were safe, and had space to do their thang. Will definitely make this a regular place to visit when I’m in town.
Stumbled into this bar from Ocean dr. on a Sunday around 9:00 with my husband. The spot was lit! There was great DJ and quite a few people dancing. Someone knocked a drink out of my hand and the bartender was so sweet and made me a new one. All of the staff were so nice and the live entertainment was amazing!! Definitely will return next time I am in Miami.
Amazing place to visit! Thank you so much to Tommy and Rafael, our waiters during the 2 nights that we came here! We loved it! And thank you to the queeeeeeens 🏳️🌈🔥❤️
I had the most incredible time at the palace! It was my first drag brunch ever so I wasn’t sure what to expect! Everyone was super kind with very high energy! My absolute favorite human being was Taylor! He saw me in the bathroom cause my server kept making me finish my mimosa even when I told him no and I don’t drink so I got very sick and was throwing up in the bathrooms and Taylor saw me and was so sweet and came back with orange juice and water and tissues and let me pick which one I needed! He’s so thoughtful and kind and wouldn’t even let me tip him! Overall I still had an amazing time here! Will recommend to all my friends!!
After the drag brunch we went up to the pool bar and got a table and the bartender Nikita was amazing had us laughing kept coming around had our drinks filled and our spirits up. Weather was not the best but he made it all good. We almost left until he came around and made us all fall in love with him. 😍😍😍😍😍😍 the bartender was A+ body, smile and service what a. Package!
Not worth it inside. Went for the drag brunch had reserved table on the patio weeks ahead of time and they bumped us inside you can only see 25% of the show from inside all the performances are outside. The bartender was our server so he didnt care about the tables in his section. The Avocado toast was bland and rather plain. Overall I was extremely sad and disappointed as I was looking forward to it all week. Only sit on the patio.
Great bar, fun experience, decent food! Ifyou’re looking for a fun time and entertaining show, Palace is the place to go! The drinks are great, and pretty big as well. The food is decent, but a bit overpriced for what it is. The service was also rather slow, but this is understandable with the shows constantly going on. Highly recommend if you want to see a drag show in South Beach!
The bar is always lively and fun. I love the drag shows and the food/drinks are good. The part they haven’t quite figured out is the service. Every time I dine there we have to wait a very long time before someone finally comes to our table and even after that, you have to chase down your server to get anything else. Not sure if it’s because they don’t have enough servers or they just aren’t trained on providing attentive service. If they had enough servers and/or trained better on attentive service, I imagine there would be more sales with drinks and food because people would actually be able to order other drinks or food with attentive service.
Drinks were weak and overpriced with bartenders who ignore you waving them down at the bar. There is palpable excitement in the air. The queens are some of the prettiest and most acrobatic I’ve ever seen. The view from the boardwalk is better than some tables.
The food is horrible. The staff is rude and impolite!!! Omg, worst service in Miami. There was a particular server who was disrespectful to a lot of people. Still wondering how you can hire such unprofessional and incompetent staff. Please save yourself from this place and go to R House Wynwood (The food, the staff and the ambiance are the best in Miami!!)
I loved it! Best and funniest place in Miami Beach for sure. Drinks were amazing.Thank you Dalmiro for making the best birthday ever! We loved you.
Wow! I went for the entertainment and was pleasantly surprised by the food. I ordered the churrasco. Again, wow! Tender and flavorful. I’ll be back.I also had a giant piña colada. It’s was okay. Not the best I’ve had, nor the worse. The entertainment was top notch! I went on latin night (Thursday). In case you didn’t know already, the entertainment consists of drag performances throughout the night. I think it started around 7 PM.Poizon Ivy and her girls were so much fun. You can tell they put effort into their trade. They also would sat at our table after performances to chat. Super sweet. All of them. And gorgeous!Tip: Patio seating is best for the show.
The show was fun, although repetitive. We had a hummus bowl and a burger, the burger came with like 7 fries, which is never an experience anywhere. The MC was fun and entertaining and the energy was great! If you just want to check it out and experience it just come in for a drink and one round of performance.
Had best time. form start to finish. Greeted by hostess Juan. He was incredibly kind, friendly, and made us feel right at home!! Juan did a fantastic time talking with us and making us comfortable!!! Carlos as well did a FANTASTIC job taking care of us! We are so lucky to have these two be the smiling faces of Palace. Show was amazing and all inclusive to everyone. Wish the night never ended
I went here for drag brunch and this is the view I had. Upon complaining I was moved to a different table but still could not see any of the show. Be aware that about 25% of the tables are positioned so that you wont see any of the drag queens. Youd have better luck watching the show from the opposite side of the street. For a silver lining, the alcohol kept flowing. I saw a member of the staff leave the restroom without washing his hands
The food and service were just okay. The vibe was amazing. We had a great time and the music was on point. Not the most talented drag queens Ive seen, but the crowd loved them.
Its definitely a fun place to go. Idk the queens definitely werent in the mood but they still put on a show. I had fun regardless. 30% service charge is added. Food wasnt bad. I went on a Wednesday.Overalls I had a great time. I was going to regardless. I would go back again.
