My journey to relaxation turned into an odyssey of discomfort when I decided to try this place. Expecting an hour of bliss, I instead found myself in what can only be described as a surprisingly unpleasant experience.From the outset, the ambiance left much to be desired. Instead of the soothing melodies one might expect, the room was filled with an odd selection of upbeat pop music, and chaos with the door open from outside at odds with any attempt at relaxation. The lighting, far from being dim and calming, resembled the harshness of a supermarket aisle.The massage itself was a study in contradictions. The therapist (to call him somehow), though seemingly well-intentioned, had an approach to foot massage that was both perplexingly aggressive and startlingly indifferent to the concept of pressure points or, indeed, human anatomy. Each touch seemed less like a step towards relaxation and more a journey into an uncharted wilderness of discomfort.Midway through, the use of a strangely scented oil only added to the sensory confusion. Far from the expected lavender or eucalyptus, this was an overpowering concoction that brought to mind the aroma of a heavily spiced meal rather than a soothing treatment.But the true pinnacle of this experience was the unexpected coldness—both literal and figurative. Halfway through, an inexplicably cold wood stick.In conclusion, what was meant to be an hour of serenity turned into a bewildering ordeal, leaving me more stressed than when I entered. This foot massage was a stark reminder that not all spas are created equal, and sometimes, the quest for relaxation can lead you down a very uncomfortable path. While I believe in second chances, this particular spa will not be seeing me again. My advice to those seeking a foot massage: RUN AS HARD AS YOU CAN FROM THIS PLACE!!

Could’ve been a five star review if both masseuses were the same skill level. My wife and I got a hand / foot massage, and one guy was great but the other was comparably bad and it didn’t seem like the effort was there. The guy just kept tapping my foot with a tool while the other guy was working hard. Very nice people but one 5-star, one 2-star massage. ☹️

Good massage! For me the best in Miami downtown. I recommend Jimmy he has knowledge in pressure points. It is important to pressure your muscles not your bones always. I felt relaxed. I would improve the place putting some aromatic candles or incense and relaxing music.

Hey locals, the tourists are getting the best massage deal in the downtown vicinity. Located at the shopping plaza with the Ferris wheel, this hidden gem is not for the weak of heart. If you are looking for a foot and/or body massage with a group of people who understand the pressure points of the body, this place is for you. No light handed petting, they get into your knots. This is a fully clothed experience. I always walk out of here feeling 100% relaxed. You need to be firm in what you want, but it is so worth it at the end.

Not worth the cost, in short.My partner and I booked for an hour massage, $80. During the massage, my massage guy was doing the “place forearm/elbow on possible knot and rub back and forth for a minute” and did that for practically the whole massage, even my calves, which was not pleasant. I’ve gotten many massages before and I didn’t feel like this guy really had the knowledge base of musculature and anatomy needed to provide an effective or therapeutic massage. His pressure was at times painful, he used some hot stones on my back and placed it on my skin when it was still very hot, making me jump up.There was a point during the massage where another set of hands started massaging my feet, then about 5 minutes into that I hear my therapist asked me in an indiscernible and quick way if I wanted to add on a foot massage for more money. This was when I was midway through my massage and in my opinion not the appropriate time to ask. It felt like I was being constantly upsold throughout my massage.Also there was another guy in and out of the rooms talking to the therapist as they’re massaging clients. Whispering, laughing. Very uncomfortable.The best part is when it’s time for checkout, rather than asking me how much to tip, the cashier guy voluntarily PUSHED the 20% tip button. I had to actually tell him that the customer should be selecting how much to tip, not him…. This was the worst $220 I’ve spent. I don’t live in Miami, but this is a great example of a business that is out for money, without delivering value. I would recommend checking out spas in the bigger hotels if you’re wanting something with quality and patient experience as a priority.

Perfect massages! I go almost weekly to recover. Tom is great at deep tissue and feet and overall sports massage. Kevin is great at shoulders and neck and softer body massage and great foot massage. The Boss Anna is excellent at all points. She can really figure out the problem areas and great foot massage also. She also does shiatzu excellent massages. Thank you!! I can stay healthy ❤️

Wonderful, mark is excellent. Very intense acupressure works wonders for tension in neck and back due to strains from exercise and static positions. Will definitely return to see Mark.Expect some pain during the massage. Its worth it.

Never again! Hectic, horrible massage tactics. Don’t change bed towels between customers, don’t wash hands. They stand outside of the door screaming “foot massage” disturbing your massage. Also beware! The neck massages are not free, but they will act like it!

SCAMMERS!!!! Beware. We ask for two 30 mins foot massage. Your laying down and your eyes was close, someone will just start to massage your head and shoulders , like its part of the foot massage but its not. Youre gonna be charged for. 30 mins foot + 30 min back rub, they do it at the same time not a whole hour. They will not explain why theyre charging you so much, when clearly coming in we said only 30 min foot.I thought a well reviewed place like this can be trusted. I shouldve read the other reviews. They were right.Ive had better massage with better prices. Shame on you.

I do not recommend this place. Jimmy who worked on my back yesterday applied the wrong elbow pressure almost the whole time. My back is very sore this morning. I’m not sure if this person is professionally trained (I am not trying to insult him). He moved too fast that I had to ask him to apply pressure slower. It was not relaxing at all. I paid $45 for the 30 minutes and left an $8 tip (even though I did not enjoy it, I won’t not tip).

I visited before my cruise (60 minutes combo/Kevin) and returned after (90 minutes/Fred). Both visits I left feeling very relaxed and my super sore muscles felt so much better. The staff is all kind and friendly and I was not turned away because of my luggage.

Run don’t walk!!! This was the best massage I’ve ever had in my LIFE! I flew in from a long couple days in Vegas, and was of course bloated, my body ached and I was in pain. I wanted some place reasonable but exceptional. Kyoto Massage was exactly that! Their customer service was amazing, and everyone who works there is truly so kind. But my massage therapist Kevin was truly remarkable. Kevin was so knowledgeable and experienced. Without me even explaining much about my paint points, he knew exactly the areas that were problematic, and applied the perfect amount of pressure—always checking in with me along the way. I cannot recommend this place enough. Perfect if you’re looking to relax and de-stress. Thank you Kyoto!!

My massage therapist was very skilled which is why I gave 2 stars, but my friend was next to me and it seems there is no uniformity in the technique. She experienced a completely different massage. It is also extremely loud here and hard to relax without ear buds in. We were also sitting in the middle of the waiting area which had customers talking with the door opening and closing constantly exposing the chaos of bayside. The prices are also insanely inflated($70/hr while the standard in the area for this massage is $45-50 max). My friend wanted a firm pressure, and she had to ask for a new therapist 15 mins into her massage.

Expensive for $62 for 30 min, its very basic they doesnt have exprtise, only thing i liked was hotstone massage which was only for 2-3 min, only overall its not worth it at the price they offer it.!

Rip off, My experience was awful. I asked for a foot massage which was more or less rubbing my foot with some cream nothing more. During the session an other staff member came and started to massage my shoulder. He ask if I want to add it while his colleague done my feet. I said no, so he throw the towel on my face. When I was paying, I was questioned why I dont tip.

I recently visited kyoto massage for a much needed massage, and I simply cannot rave enough about my experience! My boyfriend had convinced me to treat myself, and I am so glad he did. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with a warm and inviting atmosphere that melted my stress away. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive to my needs, My massage therapist was simply amazing! She had a great touch and I could easily tell that she was very knowledgeable and skilled in her craft. I left the massage room feeling like a new person! Good massage. Unfortunately, the vendor utilizes confusing pricing tactics that can upsurges the price by adding on more time and other body parts during the session that significantly increases the final payment. We made it absolutely clear that we wanted the full body 1hr session only, but during the middle of the session they sneakily added the foot massage which we thought was already included in the payment (hence FULL body massage) and then later pushed to add more time. This changed the price from an $80 session into a $200 session. It reflects poor communication and conniving tactics.

Asked for the full body one hour massage and the massage I got was fantastic. Only thing I did not like is they ask you about adding more minutes/foot massage in the middle of the session and charge you more later on. They should just change the “full body massage” to “neck and whole back massage”. Very misleading.

I’ve never experienced such an aggressive massage. I felt like I was getting beat up, I kept flinching because I was in pain. At the end, I was being BURNT with the stones and hot towel. A massage is supposed to be relaxing, this was far from that. The lady then tried tipping herself 30% when I specifically said 20%. Don’t come here unless you want to get your back broken — literally.

My daughter and I checked out the massage parlor after our cruise. I got the 30 min full body and foot massage combo and my daughter got the 30 min full body. It was absolutely amazing. Worst Massage I ever had in my life .I’ve got all body deep tissue massage and massagist didn’t even know how to do it , no sense of body at all , sometimes was crazy painful but not at the right spots !And in the end he asked me to give him tips in front of other clients , so a payed 20% tips plus to 85$. My husband and I live in Brickell, we accidentally wondered through Bayside and came across this upstairs massage spot. We love it Anna the nice lady who always greets you does amazing foot massages. So does the entire staff, I’ve had two 30 minute foot massages and so far they have been the best for the price , quality of work and attention to every pressure point. This place is clean, friendly and affordable. A hidden gem within the Bayside mall.

I did one of the packages with foot and body massage and both were fantastic. I loved the hot stones they used and the whole experience was great. And you can just walk in which is great as well, just be prepared to wait a few minutes during busy times.

Massage was decent. I had to ask the men giving my brother and I our massages to stop talking so much so we could enjoy the massage and music. They were having a full conversation for half of the 20min massage. It was annoying. Lastly, 20 min Massage was $30. I think $20 would have been a better price.
