Waste of $$$$No where on website does it accurately describe that if you are paying $25 general admission and NOT $100 VIP for reserved table, you are limited to only enjoy roped off area in bar or very crowded small dance floor. This club, trying to resemble Las Vegas vibes & only treats VIPS with comfort and little to offer GA guests.Very disappointed and could have had more fun staying on rooftop enjoying lively music (with $60 more in pocket) over at La Vida Cantina .The staff were piranhas to ensure you stayed confined in your tiny space for 4 hrs.If you like zero freedom or limited access to enjoy versus the gorgeous pics they advertise on site that are ONLY for VIP this place is for you.Rest of us, save your $$$ and enjoy comfort & friendly service elsewhere.
Time Nightclub in Costa Mesa is an awesome spot for a night out! The vibe is cool and energetic, perfect for a fun evening with friends. The dance floor is spacious, giving you plenty of room to dance the night away. Plus, theres lots of parking available, which makes getting in and out super easy. Definitely a great place to check out if youre in the area!
This wouldn’t be a bad place but they oversell and there’s literally no place to do anything. If you read this and you feel the same don’t support it and I promise they will change their ways. But it’s up to us! The customer has the power, don’t forget that. Let’s put our money where our mouth is. I call this last Time nightclub
Basically if you don’t pay the high price for vip/table service, it’s not worth going. Especially the stage setup, me and my boyfriend will literally never come here again. Security is rude, can’t go to the front of the stage without vip either. I much rather go to academy LA or somewhere else. Anywhere but here
Time Nightclub has frequently been recommended to me via ads, and Ive always been curious to check it out. I will say this right now. I do not recommend coming here at all if you are looking to dance and have fun.Im guessing bottle service or VIP are the pay walls to go on the dance floor/pit. Otherwise, you are left on the outerskirts of the venue experience. No one was dancing. No one was having as much fun in these areas because of how cramped and lackluster the viewing experience is from the dancefloor. Im not familiar with the layout of the place, but I was always directed not to go in the pit area by rude staff members without any reason why, so I decided to just leave altogether. If there could be signage or anything before paying for my ticket, I would appreciate it.To add more salt to injury, going to the restrooms is a total journey where you have to go down several flights of stairs. This makes this place non wheelchair accessible for both the mens and womens restrooms.I planned to go see JVNA last night but ended up not seeing her due to my poor experiences... I think this venue is way too small. Im glad I got to at least say I checked it out so that I can tell everyone to avoid this place. Its terrible. There are way better venues out there than this place.
It was a lot of fun. The first DJ was just ok. The second one was better and the mainliner DJ didn’t come on till midnight! I was there from 9 pm short of midnight. My friend stayed and saw the main guy. Paid $20 to get in.I did see a very violent incident. The bouncer pulled and threw a young nerdy guy who didn’t look dangerous to the floor. Very hard and violent throw and the young man’s body knocked down a table etc.Reminds me not to go to places where people drink. Before it gets crowded around 10 pm, there is no line to get on the dance floor. Later on, there is a long line. So even if you leave the dance floor to go to the bathroom, they make you line up again. Horrible experience as the line was quite long to get on the dance floor as it was getting crowded. However, if you buy drinks, you can get back on while holding your drinks to the dance floor. If you want a table, you will need to buy some expensive bottles from what I can see. Don’t know the details on how to get a table and if it’s possible by just paying more?? The people at the tables all had the smugness of people sitting at first class on a plane 😆
Wow. We went here on Saturday for Deorro, we got there around 10p (30 mins after they opened) and it was pretty packed. By 12a it was EXTREMELY crowded, we ended up leaving because it wasnt comfortable. They should really not oversell tickets because I feel.like that is a major safety hazard.I hope everyone still enjoyed the event safely but it just wasnt worth to be stuffed in a small space.
My friends and I decided to go out on a Memorial Day weekend. At the last minute we decided on going to TIME night club. I contacted Luis Amenero he was referred by another friend that gets tables from him all the time. It was last minute on a holiday weekend, I know Im that guy 🤦♂️. Luis let me know how busy it was and cover was $100. He told me he would do his best depending what time we arrived. He went above and beyond our expectations. He was able to expedite our check in process to the cashier and he even had a drink ticket for me. We were happy all night with the music and the drinks. Awesome night at Time, and I highly recommend contacting Luis for VIP and bottle services. Even though we paid the cover he was very professional and we didnt mind. He checked up on us a few times inside honestly best customer service around.
Went for Deorro event. I couldn’t even see him. I was stuck behind a pillar. They oversold the event. It was so crowded, we could barely move/dance, and it was so hot because of the amount of bodies they stuffed in there. Security kept telling us to move along but there was no where to go. It seemed like a fire hazard. Would not come back to Time. We ended up leaving early because it was just not enjoyable. For the amount I paid to see Deorro, I’d rather see Deorro at a bigger venue
Staff is extremely rude and doesnt really care about the patrons. Even if you pay for a table the staff is still rude and will literally push anyone who gets in the way. Music was pretty good but visuals were lackluster and there were random liquids falling from cracks in the ceiling. One last note I wish I knew is that if you dont pay for some form of VIP, you will not be able to see the DJ.
This place was definitely worth the drive and experience. I’ve read a couple of the reviews prior to this and it seems like Time Nightclub is definitely improving from the feedback they are given, and I know this because I visited for the first time from San Diego to see my favorite DJ’s live and I’d say, the drive was worth it!! Parking was free and even with driving, I spent less on gas than parking at San Diego Downtown at Nova and the space honestly felt a little more intimate with the artist and fans!! Drinks were super solid, staff seemed really nice and accommodating and I got pictures with my favorite DJ’s!! I’d probably do this again if my favorite person decides to play at this venue!!
TIME IS AMAZING!!! And Ive personally been involved in electronic music events for a very very long time. The condition I developed this last year requires certain accommodations and Christine and Scott were so extremely kind hospitable and for sure on point making my ability to enjoy myself top priority immediately upon arrival...of course we did respectfully give a heads up of my situation prior to.Perfect night!!! Definitely!!!LOVE PHANTOGRAM ❤️ ALWAYS!!
Time nightclub could be soooo much better.both times i’ve gone, the headliner doesn’t preform until after midnight, when i’ve gotten in at 9 and paid 100$. very VERY overcrowded, no room to dance, barely even room to stand. once you get to the floor, if you leave, you have to stand in line to get back in. everyone’s always shoving against each other and it can make you feel claustrophobic. time nightclub has the potential to be so much better, hopefully they change some things because i sure won’t be going back to experience that again.
I want to start off by saying. My partner is in a wheelchair and going to TIME nightclub has been one of our best experiences. Since being in a wheelchair, usually its on us to figure out where to go and deal with situations ourselves. But when we went to the G eazy birthday bash, Our night was amazing. Everyone was so friendly, kind, and polite. They made sure to check in on them and see if they were doing well and if they were able to see the stage. Shout out to Ed and Selena for helping us feel safe and help my partner feel acknowledged and making sure we were going ro have a great time just like everyone else. Definitely one of our best experiences and would definitely be going ro future event there.
My experience at Time Nightclub was incredibly disappointing. Despite trying to celebrate a friends birthday, our night was marred by inconsistent and deceptive policies regarding outside beverages. Upon arrival, I was informed I couldnt bring in a bottle of Tequila I had bought as a gift, and was told to leave it in my car. However, just before heading to the parking garage, a bouncer offered to hold onto the bottle and return it to me at the end of the night. To my dismay, when we left, they reneged on their promise and refused to return it. This lack of integrity and disregard for customer trust soured what should have been a memorable celebration.
Came here to see DJ Habibeats. I was standing by the bar and got physically and verbally assaulted by another guest; club security said they’d kick out the guy but then backed out when they found out it was the DJs cousin. Could be a great venue if TIME management took the safety of their guests seriously. They support discrimination and assault on their own properties. I’d avoid if you want to feel safe going out - there’s better spots in OC.
The club scene was awesome, Music and atmosphere was great ! I highly recommend you to book your table service or vip access with Luis Amenero ! He was my favorite vip services Director ! He always provide us with best care for making our experience so much better. No matter how busy his night gets, he will always come to our table to check up on us and help us if anything is needed. He was one of the reason we have been keep going back to Time . Never disappoint me and my group ! We always had a great time there !
The venue is small. The dance floor is pathetically small. Which wouldn’t be a problem normally but they book some pretty big names.By far the worst insomniac nightclub. The only pro. The ONLY pro is that parking is free.
Wayyyyy too crowded for what it was. all the other 1 star comments are right about the staff and layout here. Rude aff staff wayy too expensive, not welcoming at all for edm fans. save your $$$ do not come here and support local edm events that actually care about your experience not how rich you are.
This place is only really comfortable if you get VIP seating. Otherwise, the dace floor is laughably small and all other areas are basically walkways filled with people. The crowd is also terrible. I got asked to leave because I was dancing to much - at an EDM show! No one was into it and everyone just stands around. If you are a fan of the artist, Id recommend waiting until they play at another local venue because the vibes at this place are all off. That said, the staff were fine, just obviously catering to the VIPs and merely tolerating everyone else. The one positive thing is theres plenty of free parking! To say less - youre better off finding another spot because this place is aint it.
Honestly shout it to Chris best service I’ve experience at the time. He was kind and helpful and maintained the long line calm. Definitely the reason I’m coming back 🙌🏼
As Orange Countys premier nightclub- this is the place to be on the weekends! They always book the most world renowned electronic music DJs so youll always catch your favorites. Rappers make frequent appearances at Time as well. They do a great job of alternating between hip hop and edm so it keeps things fresh. Drinks are always really good, shout-out to the bartenders for taking great care of us! The promoters and hosts are super nice too! The production is awesome! Very high tech and top of the line sound system. Really love the aura and vibe at this club- thats why I keep coming back!
This place oversells and causes overcrowding. The dance floor is so small compared to other nightclubs. Not coming here again.
My first time in California. I arrive here at Time Night Club at 1:00AM. They still charge you 63 dollars for entry but dont tell you that the venue closes in an hour and that they are not actually letting people in. After paying for the ticket you still dont actually get to go in. As I walk in security tells me to go stand in line instead. So I do that but the security in the front of the queue dont actually let people in as others leave. Its a huge security guy who is too busy flirting with someone to bother letting people through. A few people speak something in Mandarin and get in. I dont speak Mandarin so finally about 45 minutes later I finally get in and the time is now 1:45. I got to enjoy less than 15 minutes before the place closed. Will definitely never ever go here. For anyone visiting Irvine please dont bother with this place unless you arrive early or you speak Mandarin. Better idea would be to spend that money on an Uber to LA and hit the clubs there. The crowd here is:98% Asian (Chinese)0% Asian (Other)0% Hispanic / Latin2% Everyone elseThe music and DJ:Really good.Customer Service:NoneCommon Courtesy:NoneRecommendation:Avoid.Take an Uber to LA and hit the clubs there.OrTry Legacy Night Club (4647 Macarthur Blvd, Newport) instead. But check if there is a crowd outside before going in as they sometimes do have dead nights.Dance clubbing in general around Irvine:1) Check that there is a crowd outside before going in cause it might be dead inside but they charge you anyway.2) Check the demographic composition of the crowd outside as a reflection of whats inside. If thats not your crowd then go somewhere else.3) Listen to the DJ for a bit. If they cant even do a basic criss fade and match BPM dont bother going in.
Horrible experience, I am not at all a person to leave a review ever but as an entertainer that been in a different night clubs I never seen disrespectful, rude staffs like Time ones ever!Imagine you pay money to see a show then you are not allowed to stand anywhere! Everywhere I was or others were standing was not allowed! They keep harassing us to move! Dance floor is very small so gets packed easily so literally you were not welcome in that club that’s how you feel. Bye bye for good low class club!
The bartender only knew very basic drink orders and didnt even have the ingredients for my cocktail. He was kind about it though and gave me a free ginger ale. Still disappointing given the jacked up prices advertised on their bottle service menu. The music can get too loud, so bring ear plugs.Nice decor, but disappointing experience over all 😔
Me and my wife loved it. It was just two of us at the VIP table and the service was great. Constant replenishment of drinks, check-ups from wait stuff, and even security. Our waitress was great, you know who you are. The level of sound started off low but with Imanbek it just blew our hats off. Overall we enjoyed it and planning to come back. Thanks all.
I went to this venue for the first time to see my favorite DJs, SLANDER, at their takeover event. The music and show itself was amazing, as always, from these DJs.The venue itself was small and we were not able to get onto the dance floor as there were already too many people. We arrived around 11:30 PM. There wasn’t much standing room besides the walkways so it was a little uncomfortable constantly getting pushed past outside of the dance floor. Usually the areas outside the dance floor in other venues are pretty open and sparse. The bouncers were pretty strict about who they allowed on the dance floor and there was a line of people just waiting to get on the dance floor, which is unheard of.The entrance staff was great and made sure I was accommodated. Big thanks to Luis Amen for his hospitality! He really made the night great for me and truly made me feel special.
The most ghetto place I’ve ever been to. How do you even consider this a club. The bouncers literally don’t even care about you
The setup for this place is dangerous (and annoying) if youre going to a crowded show. The dance floor is small with no access to drinks or water and the bouncers regulate entry to it. For the show I went to, after 10:30 it was impossible to get back onto the dance floor if you left. Your choices are to stay on the hot crowded dance floor where its fun and hope you dont pass out of dehydration/having to pee/etc, or leave and be waiting in line to get back onto the floor for an hour or more. What the owners of this club are doing puts profit before safety, as the reason the dance floor is small and regulated is because theres a ring of VIP tables around it. My friend was so thirsty he was asking for water from the people at the VIP tables and they mostly ignored him, and no staff came to help.Great music tho!
The OC crowd for new years eve really sucked. The bouncer guys inside the club told me that if I just put my empty glass at the bar that I could return just for him to not let me in 10 seconds later when I came back. He suddenly didnt remember me. The line to get back in was NOT moving and you pretty much were out for good at that point. Now the dancing crowd was non-existent. Literally 3 or 4 people dancing out of 500 or so. Thats souless Orange County for you where only instagram stories matter and not how much fun you could have. 0 stars for this sorry place. The 3.4 avg they have now is too generous.
If you’re a queer person, this place is not welcoming. I came here with a group of friends on 11/11/23 to see my favorite dj ATB. I was wearing a comfortable outfit, tshirt, jean shorts and sneakers. The security told me I was not allowed to enter due to me wearing shorts. I asked to speak with the manager. The manager also informed me that I am not able to wear shorts to the club. I’ve been to this club a couple of months earlier to see Cosmic Gate and I was wearing shorts, and got in no problem. As I was taking to the manager, they were letting in women wearing dresses that were much shorter than my knee length jean shorts. I firmly believe this establishment discriminated against me as a queer person. I’m extremely disappointed and hurt by their treatment. Shame on you, Time nightclub.
Great performance from Bassjackers! The first opening DJ Duo called Backcourt was surprisingly very good and the second opening was not too bad. Solid music throughout the night. Great sound system set up and bass.Dance floor was pretty small but it is what it is. Expect there to be a line to get on the dance floor later in the night so grab your drinks before heading there. It does get pretty hot so bring a fan or dress lightly. They do shoot cold air during the headliner performance. The drinks here actually tasted good and it was priced fair for the quality and location. $18 for a cocktail w/ grey goose.Security staff was fine and handled people who were not in their normal state of mind fine. One guy was sitting on the floor with his head slumped down. The staff helped him up and took him somewhere but I saw him on the dance floor again an hour later having the time of his life.Free parking in the plaza garage. Plenty of space when we came in.Dress attire was anything goes. A lot of girls were wearing sweatpants or athleisure wear.
Free parking, good sound and atmosphere... Small dance floor so dont go pee
Happening OC club with top draws, saw Kaskade last evening and DJ TRIPPS who played just before him killed it with an over-the-top set, hope to see more of TRIPPS in the future -- like at EDC and Coachella. Time is well run, amazing sound, small out of the way bathrooms, great sight lines and attentive wait staff.
The venue looks great but its so weird and low class having dividers ribbon poles moving people around like cows in a ranch.I asked for a Redbull Goose and served me Kirkland vodka with some disgusting energy drink called Ghost. At first sip tasting freaking nutra sweet, I almost threw up. I went to the brewery next door, get a couple drinks with my friends then back for Steve Aoki
YG came out around 1am and did like a 15 minute set. The DJ that opened at 9:30pm played good music but couldn’t keep a vibe. Good sounds played but mixed and kill any sense of rhythm generated. Danced with friends and drinks were good. $20 drinks. Overall, okay experience but don’t be fooled with some of these artists “performing.”
So my associates and I go to different Nightclubs as often as we can can and it was our first time at Time to see Drezo, the speakers were probably the worst I’ve ever heard in any club, it sounded like they were only on stage and pointing straight to the dance floor rather than all around, we spent over $2500 that night and I was not amused, but nowhere’s as unamused as the 8 ladies I invited who were complaining the whole time about the speakers which made it worse. A refund or at least a better seating arrangement will definitely be needed if I ever choose to go back again.
Easily my least favorite Insomniac venue. Crowded. Hot. Bad sightlines except for the dance floor (which itself is limited space) weird sectioned off standing room areas in the back gets less sound quality and an obstructed view of the visuals/dj stage. Plenty of room if you are getting bottle service though, (couches and booths take up half the facility) which is clearly what they are trying to push.I doubt Ill be back.
Worst club in California without question. Havent been here in several years and somehow they made it worse than it already was. What brain dead moron though this layout was a good idea and maintains it instead of making it better!? Dear God
The GA floor is incredibly small and at some point in the night the bouncers start not allowing anyone to enter the floor. It’s terrible because anyone that goes to use the restroom or buy drinks isn’t allowed back to the floor with their friends. I was on the ground floor for an hour having a great time and it took me 2 ours to be allowed back in to get with my friends. The whole situation was laughable as you wait in the “line” they direct you to while you watch dozens of people walk to the floor skipping the line. Many of the employees were aggressive toward any questions or complaints. Some of the employees felt bad for me, but were just doing their job. It hilarious that you would pay to go in somewhere and wait for two hours in line inside. This dynamic needs to be clear for anyone buying a ticket to an event here. Otherwise prepare for a terrible experience. I’ve never been to a place with such a high ratio of bouncers to guests. Tickets could be half the price if they allowed the crowds to control the capacity of the ground floor and didn’t have an army of workers gating the guests as if they were sheep.
I seem to come to Time about once a year for an artist I really like and hoping that all my previous negative experiences were in my imagination just to be reminded why I keep telling myself to NEVER come back to Time again. Everything about this place is just bad and it sucks because it has sooo much potential. Whoever designed the layout and dance floor for this place should have their design degree withdrawn immediately and used as an example for future generations of how NOT to design a dance floor. Staff is rude. Its OC so lots of rude attendees and racist folk too. This place wants to be Vegas so bad but they fail on all attempts.
Terrible… the club released free rsvp tickets for an ohgessy event and with that ticket said you have to be in line before 5:30pm. My group and I got there at 4:30pm and this place already had a line wrapping around the building. They started letting people in literally at 5:30. We saw that a lot of people were leaving once they got to the front, my friends and I simply thought the people didn’t have tickets. Yet when we finally got to the front the weirdo at the door said it would be $40. Even with our RSVP tickets and his excuse was it’s past 5:30 so everyone is getting charged yet they didn’t start letting people in until 5:30… my first time going to this place and definitely won’t be going back. This place is just a SCAM.
We came on a Thursday night to see DJ Kaka at 10:30 PM and there was no line. The venue itself is nice, clean, & spacious. The DJ opening for DJ Kaka was okay. The crowd was not really dancing at all even though the center was packed. You can see all the girls at the front and the (older) men standing at the back. The bottle service looks cool though; all their bottle holders or signs look lit!You cant stand in the walkway so you either have to be in the crowd or at the bar. They have stanchions too to clearly delineate pathways and standing areas. We stood at the bar area which has a huge space of its own. I believe theres a bar on either side of the club. I got a lychee martini which was good and actually pretty darn strong. We entered up leaving around 11:10 PM since we didnt want to wait until midnight for DJ Kaka to show up given how awkward the vibe was. A bit disappointed on how things turned out but would love to come back when the place is popping next time!
Time is a nice looking place, been here twice, it can get rather loud, feel like you are telling at everyone to have a conversation.First place Ive seen with a window at the bar into the ladies restroom so they can hide in there and still get drinks. Then again I dont know, I dont hang out in nightclubs.
The floor is so small that youll be packed in like crazy no matter what. Not a bad place overall, but just waaaay too small. Also the visualizer kept lagging during the show.
The place was packed to the brim. The entire surface area was people standing shoulder to shoulder. Absolutely no room to dance. Sightlines outside of the dance floor are terribad. They have staff all over the place going you cant stand here this is a walking area only this is the vip entrance to the dance floor you have to go around. Everyone posting 5 stars is name dropping so ig you need to know someone to have a decent time here.
The club I visited had a limited budget and did not meet my expectations. I prefer attending EDM nights at the Shrine Auditorium. My experience with security at the club was negative as they appeared to be overly aggressive towards patrons and enforced outdated policies such as gating the dance floor and overcrowding it. Moreover, I found it concerning that the club had a policy of not allowing re-entry after leaving the premises, and their response to consumer complaints on the BBB website was unsatisfactory. I urge anyone considering visiting this club to exercise caution and make an informed decision.(Bottle Service Club) -Meaning: if you dont get bottle service this is not the club for you.
My worst experience yet at any club. Extremely small venue. If you aren’t on the very small dance floor then you can’t even see the stage or dj. Staff were horrible and rude. The speakers were awful I could hardly hear anything. The only good thing about the place was that there was plenty of parking. I go to plenty of Edm style clubs and this was by far the worst I have ever experienced.
Too small of a dance stage and over crowded. Lighting are good. The house cocktails are 😑, and felt pricier than Exchange LA. Doesnt have enough room even to view the main stage. Do not visit unless your favorites are playing. The mens restroom is tucked away in a basement and is inconvenient.
Time is one of the best EDM clubs in SoCal. They consistently have a great lineup of artists, the sound and visuals are amazing, and the management is very organized. I’ve always had great experiences there with Luis, and he has always made sure my friends and I are well taken care of. It’s worth the drive from LA and I would highly recommend going!
The dance floor so so small that if you go to restroom you have to wait at least an hour to go inside the dance floor again. So frustrating
If i could leave a negative star I would. Do not give this establishment your business, if you’re an artist or DJ thinking of performing here don’t, your fans will be treated like trash. I’ve never seen such overt racism and prejudiced staff who relish in small minded power trips to make themselves feel big.
This was one of the best experiences I have ever had at Time. I was referred to Luis Amenero by a mutual friend and I am so glad he was able to help! I wanted a table for my 25th birthday for June 9th and Luis definitely came through. He made the booking, sent me the link to pay my deposit and I was all set. When I thought things could not get any better!! We got moved to the dance floor! This definitely made for such a good time that my friends said the night was one of their best! Check in was super quick and you are led to the table. You are given the table menu right away and the night starts just like that! I only saw the bottle girl we were assigned in the beginning and at the end but we did get help throughout the night from different girls. Definitely coming back again! Thank you so much Luis! This was a night I will never forget.
During my recent visit to this club with my fiancé and friends to see Giuseppe Ottaviani, we had a disappointing experience. Our group got separated when two of our friends went to the restroom, and they were escorted out of the club without our knowledge due to one of them being unwell. It was unfortunate that we were not able to stay together and support our friend.Regarding the clubs atmosphere, I noticed that the service appeared to be geared towards those who purchase bottle service, and the overall ambiance gave off a more upscale vibe with higher prices. While we opted to buy drinks at the bar, it felt like we were not given the same level of attention as those who ordered bottle service.I also noticed that the owner does not respond to customer reviews or inquiries, which could suggest that they are not actively addressing feedback or concerns. It is important for a club to prioritize their patrons safety and well-being, as well as ensure that their customers feel valued regardless of how much they spend. Overall, I hope that the club takes these concerns into account to improve their service and make it a more inclusive and enjoyable experience for all guests.
On Friday, March 10th, my friend and I went to see Ottovianni at a club. While the venue was small, we were enjoying ourselves until my friend drank too much and became sick in the bathroom. When we tried to leave, the security staff forced her into a wheelchair, which was unnecessary and unsettling. Despite my attempts to explain that we were leaving and did not need their help, they refused to listen and even prevented me from retrieving my phone from the bathroom stall. My friend and I were left stranded outside the club without a way to contact my boyfriend, who was our designated driver. We were vulnerable and alone in a parking structure, which is a dangerous situation for anyone, especially two inebriated young women. When my boyfriend finally emerged from the club, we tried to re-enter to find my phone, but were once again denied entry. The behavior of the security staff was unacceptable and put our safety at risk. We were left with no choice but to buy a new phone, which could have been avoided if the staff had simply listened to us from the beginning. It is shocking to think that a club would have a policy that allows them to throw out two drunk women and refuse to provide assistance or basic human decency. We didnt even care that we just ordered drinks and didnt drink them. We didnt care that we had bought tickets and had to leave. We just wanted to leave safely and with all our belongings and were not given the opportunity to do so. I was holding my friend and I was just fine so there was no need for them to grab her from me and throw her into the chair.I strongly urge anyone considering going to this club to reconsider
The customer service was amazing Dean made sure we were accommodated. And spoke to our group with respect.!!
Had a great time! Drinks were great and the DJ was amazing. Everyone was super nice and helpful! Place was kept clean as well.Must go if you havent gone yet. Luis Amenero by far the best guy there with excellent service! If he’s there so am I!
We went to a “Mixer” for chamber of commerce for the purpose of networking.I think the DJ thought it was a party??The music was so loud that in order to talk to others you had to scream. So the choice was to get drunk or leave. Many people left early & I left after about 20 min .I believe that the management and the DJ MUST be thoughtful and consider what type of event is going on. In many classy restaurants and meetings, the music is a background noise and it is NOT for the DJ to show how good s/he is!
TIME IS AMAZING!!! It’s one of our Fav nightclub . There always have good DJs. The table set up were really nice ! Thank you so much Luis Amenero ( Vip Services & Client development) . He was so extremely kind hospitable and for sure on point making my ability to enjoy myself top priority immediately upon arrival… and always made sure that me and my friends enjoyed the night ! Best nightclub in Orange County !
Great environment. I have to give a 5 star to security lady (African- American). She handle me in the most professional manner and she is the kindest, sweetest, compassionate security I ever came across. God bless your soul!
My group of friends decided to last minute go to a concert and our guy Luis Amen helped us out with VIP and have the best time. If you ever decide to go to TIME make sure to ask for him to help you out with your experience! He is one of the most professional coordinators!
Felt discriminated against tonight. A security guard kept starting at me and my gf the whole night, told us it was a “privilege” for him letting us be there, that we cold kick us out at any second. He cursed, shouted, and pushed us, embarrassing me in front of everyone. We were not drunk! I know what happened. Very unprofessional, he made my gf cry and ruined my night for my friends and I. I don’t understand how u could be so rude to your customers that you make them feel unsafe and cry? She wasn’t the only one that felt this way, my friends gf’s felt it too. I bought 10 tickets for my friends and I for my birthday (Not VIP),and this guy just had to ruin the night. Five of my friends left after, I stayed to talk to a manager. The manager offered us VIP to the dance floor, but by that time the music had stopped. I left my phone number and name with them, we will see if they get back to me. They said they would call me back this Monday. This is not ok, we all left the club upset. I paid for 10 tickets, spent 430 on my friends and I drinks, and this is how we get treated??? If they do not reach back to me, they will be hearing from my bank!As VP of relations, I now know how to speak about this club now. This is not a good image from a club I’ve spoken highly about. I’ve been a customer for years, this left a disgusting taste in my mouth.
The club is nicely decorated, the security was good, and there are plenty good events taking place here. Prices were okay, and sound quality and loudness were also balanced and good. But the reason why I giving this place such a bad review is because of their stupid dancefloor. I paid 40 bucks to see one of my favorite DJs and ended up staying in line to go on the dancefloor. I stood there for almost an hour and lost half of the DJ set doing nothing besides queuing. That is just so stupid, and I feel someone just took my money. I wont recommend Time nightclub to anyone until that issue is resolved.
Great place, best DJs, and best service! Special shout out to Luis Amenero for making our experience so much better. I have known Luis for over 5 years and he always treated his VIPs/clients with the best care and made sure we have the best time ever. No matter how busy his night gets, he will come to our table to check up on us and help us if anything is needed. If you need a special treatment and to make sure u and ur group are provided with the best care and services then I will definitely recommend you to book your tables and VIP access with Luis Amenero, he is the Director of VIP services.
Place is too small and bouncers are disrespectful arrogant POS. You spend your whole night waiting in lines. Line to get in, line to get drinks, line to get on dance floor. $12 beers.
Lots of dangy equipments and half of the lights are off. Too many bouncers and line to get in the middle.
Had so many issues at TIME, not the first time I’ve been just writing a review for people to stay away. People handling table reservations were entitled and didn’t want to give us a table, even though we had a big group of people. Empty tables all night, y’all losing out on bottle money and tips for the bottle girls…Got a drink at the bar, was charged for 2 and the bartender said she could void the transaction but “it would take awhile” so ended up getting 2 drinks. If this is how you’re getting money from customers, do better! They don’t even check credit card names and ID, another night my sisters credit card was stolen and was charged $150+ for drinks from a stranger. Everyone stay away and don’t go unless it’s free.
/---+++--Read The One Star Reviews--+++---\----------------------!!!UPDATE!!!-----------------------------My girlfriend, her friend, and I arrived at the nightclub at around 10:30 pm Friday the 10th of March 2023. At approximately 11:00 pm, my girlfriends friend started to feel sick. We had only ordered one round of Long Island iced teas, so my girlfriend went to the bathroom to take care of her friend while she threw up for about 20 to 30 minutes.Around 11:30 pm, I became concerned and was still standing by the bar next to the ladies restroom when a security guard approached me. They led me outside to the parking structure, where I found my girlfriend and her friend sitting alone on the curb with no one watching over them. The security guard had kicked them out without offering any assistance or support. When my girlfriend confronted them, they denied kicking her out and played mind games with her.During this time, my girlfriend was unable to get back into the club as her phone was left in the bathroom. By the time they tried to let her back in, she had only two minutes to do so. When she expressed her frustration, a security guard tried to physically restrain her. I intervened to protect her, and after some unprofessional exchanges with the security guards, we gave up on retrieving her phone. We later discovered that someone had stolen it during the time she was locked out of the club. The event was supposed to run from 9:30 pm to 2:00 am, but I was only in the club for an hour and the two girls for a half hour. Due to the unprofessional behavior of the clubs staff and security and as a result, my girlfriend had to buy another phone for $300 on a payment plan. We feel that the club does not deserve to exist with such unprofessional and inhumane treatment towards their patrons.P.S. The club owner responded with the basic phone number to the actual time nightclub where he does not answer the phone directly.I dispatched the email to the email provided. I will keep you posted if he responds or not. This is as of Saturday March 18th 2023.(As of 3/28/23) No response from owner and a unanswered BBB complaint filed. There you have it they are liars and cheats if he responds back to this watch it be with the club number and another fake email from dean or VAN.And if you notice all the five star reviews, those are all VIP table bottle service reviews. There is no good five star reviews that dont mention that and if they do it looks like they were done by the people who work there.I noticed since some of the older one star reviews this is not the first time this has happened. We are not the first group of people this has happened to at this club.P.S I warned you if you see Montel Williams or T Dog from Walking Dead steer clear of them they are fragile in there ego and they are head of security.
This club would be great if they did one small thing but it’s the most important thing: they need to become a full time all the time hip hop night club with rappers performing there more than once in a while. The people will flock there if they can actually see famous rappers and bump and grind and have rap songs especially twerking music playing all the time every week. With Electronic Dance Music it isn’t real music and besides DJ Pauly D there’s no great music except when a rapper is there. Rappers are the draw and the club is most entertained when there’s a rapper instead of a just some DJ that nobody knows. People just stand around bored and it makes for a boring night. If you play more twerking music just as is no special DJ theatrics that gets a far better response from the crowd and the club will get more popularity if they just stuck to only having big name rappers as your draws. People would be willing to accept more of a bad experience more often if there were more big name rappers performing and DJ playing ONLY RAP MUSIC ESPECIALLY TWERKING SONGS. Time Nightclub clearly has the money to afford big artists all the time big rappers like YG, Ty Dolla Sign, Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dog, 50 Cent, etc. they need to get the check books out and do big name rappers all the time a lot more often than they do especially recently when it first opened they had rappers all the time they had Ne-Yo and Jeremih and even Jhene Aiko etc. and people went there in droves and I’m sure they made millions off of that at least 100s of thousands of dollars from doing this. From experience I can tell you that even from last night DJ Pauly D is the biggest DJ of all time and even he couldn’t make the crowd go nuts they were bored most of the night and it’s because they weren’t playing the twerking music that makes the girls twerk and the guys like me grind up with them which I know because I go to both types of shows rapper and EDM at Time that girls only dance to rap songs and twerk songs in particular. So Time Nightclub would be better off increasing their sales every week by having only rap music playing no EDM and becoming a rap club mainly to attract more people than what they do, they’d make bank off of this idea I’m just saying. They can afford it to do all of this.
Went here this weekend and had the most amazing time at Floss. TIME has the best DJs consistently for EDM. If you plan on booking, make sure you reach out to Luis. He really takes care of your whole group and always does every time. We will be coming back again and again for the great service and experience!!
Having super hard time with DJs choice of musicAnd I paid $80 😝😝
Multiple reasons. Ghetto bouncers who act like hoodlums and hired off the street. Very unprofessional compared to the ones at Exchange/Academy.The fact that they make people slide them money to get into the dance floor? What kind of club does that.Your entitled bottle service girls who pushed one of my members who was a part of my table simply because he was in the way.Fix your staff issues and room to dance at this club. I’m not the first person with this problem.
Ive paid for VIP several times at this club. Absolutely love it, but there was one bald Filipino guard who wouldnt let me in. Then my friends for their bday. I tried to show him, but he was grabbing weird on my sisters. I dont leave reviews but it hurt all of us so bad to choose this establishment for a birthday, then to face someone on a power trip. Please, if you choose this place, be cautious of the bus boys trying to rent-a-cops and youll have a great time.
By far the best nightclub in OC! My friends and I always have such an amazing time. Never have we been disappointed. Hands down they have the best Djs and artists. The server and host are extremely friendly and welcoming. The bathrooms are clean and the line to get in moves pretty quickly.
I’ve been to this club numerous of times , I don’t usually do reviews but this one felt right . I was there Friday with a table my buddy got and a young man i think his name was moricio or maricio (sharp buzz cut / professional attire) correct me if I’m wrong but anyways he was so welcoming and Friendly that we felt at home right away! He was there to assist with any questions we had and just made our stay more pleasant. He was even helping the bottle girls with the presentation which was pretty cool and just seemed to be doing it all . Anyways We all had a great time and look forward to coming back!
ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!Aggressive Security will forcibly keep YOU in a back room if you are too intoxicated with no cameras no exit where u can be molested or physically assaulted !!!!!!!!!
Walked into a vip table area by mistake (RIGHT next to dance floor area), yelled at by people at tables and elbowed by a bottle girl as we walked out of area. Paid $90 for two tickets to Simply be in the club, girl called security when she was bumped into after jabbing us intentionally with her elbow. Security got in our faces, and pushed us when we tried to explain that we payed a lot in admission and plenty of drinks at bar, we wanted no issues were simply there to dance!! Would not hear our side of story, pushed and shoved, screamed at by security guard who lied to us, physically touched us roughly and kicked us out 45 minutes prior to closing. Offered a number and told we could get a free drink in 30 days? No refund or discount?? Very disappointed in such a high end club for such an epxensive price. We have the utmost respect for those that work venues and bars etc, very disappointed in staff response especially after paying such a premium price
1 star for service alone. Bar girls don’t put order in or take order for drinks. They just nod and walk away. They hold your card and ID till you leave. I waited over 45 mins to get my card and ID back so I could leave. I would not recommend this place for the service alone. The stage and atmosphere is nice though. The warm up dj sucked. Sounded like he was just playing from Spotify. His song transitions were trash with many pauses in music.
👎👎👎👎👎The worst club that makes me feel like they seriously discriminate against Asians! Last night, the security personnel only checked us (Asians) and took the bag over and examined it carefully. But when the white guests came in, I didnt see the security guards check them. All the details make me feel very uncomfortable! Never come here again 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
DO NOT RECOMMEND this club. Last night was my first time and last time going to TIME Nightclub. Aside from how disorganized and confusing the entry lines were, the service my friends and I received from the staff members and securities was by far the worst experience I have had. Even before we entered the club, we were told to wait several times outside of the entry lines, just to inquire and check-in with one of the securities and staff members about our bottle service reservation. Meanwhile, other people behind us were attended quickly and entered the club immediately. Thats not right from the staff to act like they can ignore people and treat people however they want, as if the staff are more superior than the attendees. I have heard that they will even kick out people for the most trivial reasons. Thats abuse of power. Before coming here, I was hoping to check in for our bottle service reservation and have fun with my girls. It is unfortunate I wasted so much time being ignored and treated so rudely that we were not able to enjoy it. I am glad I decided to leave and spend my money elsewhere. Not worth my $30-40 here. Better club experience and service somewhere else.
If you want to stand around and drink, pay for a VIP table to sit and drink , or spend all night pushing through a mob of people to get anywhere then this is the place for you. If you want to dance to the music you came to hear then forget it. The dance floor is small because the vip booths take up the majority of the floor space. They pack as many people in the place as they can fit. Then they pack the dance floor like a sardine can and then they rope it off so you cant enter it. The décor is very nice. place is clean, they always pull in big name talent, but the place doesnt do what a club is supposed to do well... give people a good venue and space to dance. Im sure its not all the venue, but the crowd is to blame as well. The stand around types occupying the dance floor. Its just not a fun experience if you dont want to spend the night in a mosh pit.
This is a private event review, not normal hours of operation.Went to Time for a private event. First time being there and the on ace is huge on the inside. There was about 200 people that attended and you could barley tell that there was that many people it’s such a large and nice space. Noted this place down for future events, definitely large events this place works great!
The customer service here is exceptional. Everything went smooth, starting from club entry till closing time. I would like to compliment the following individuals:- Rick (VIP Organizer) answered all my questions regarding VIP tables via phone. He is responsive and completes the RSVP in a timely manner.- Krysti (Waitress) is friendly and extremely patient. She lets me know to order ahead before the club gets slammed with patrons.- Shaun & Jonathan (Security Guards) greeted us and introduced themselves. They ensured me that our safety is their priority. They also assisted in introducing club-goers to our table upon request.Overall, I would recommend Time Nightclub for concert events. I went to the Afrojack concert, and I definitely had a great time!
Well first of all, there its not a dress code in this place thats a lie ,and most of the people attending to this place are in they late twenties ....people dress like they go to the super market,so be comfident to go with your pihamas if you want ,second the service its one of the worst a ever I experience .I was yesterday with my girlfriend for the performance of Steve Aioki and the place was busy but not crowded. They have this security guys and they are the most unprofessional people in dealing with custumers ,they have you standing for hours begin a security cord inside the place and wait until you can getting to the dance floor, when the dance floor its not even crowded ,and of course the people are standing there all night thinking they will be able to getting ,you cannot even stand what ever you want or walk because automatically come one of the security guys with they flash light to blind you and push you to the side and threaten you that if you dont stand begin that cords they will kick you out ,well I when to the security supervisor ,a female lady and I told her a bout the harasment that its been happening a bout one particular security guy ,and she came to apologize for him and give me a free drink ticket ,well maybe for a twenty year old kid thats enough not for a 40 years old woman, shame on the managger to allow people like that to work for this place ,because to my opinion thats not enough , nor the less this guy come back to Us again from the other side where he was working pushing people around to push us again ,and I told him the I already complain a bout him with hes supervisor and he turn around and left with hes tail between hes legs .So this is what you need to deal in his place with security harassing you for the whole place ,make you stand begin cords with people so close to you the purpously they are touching you ,disgusting !!!....thas what the security and rules of this place provoque making you stand begin that cords with people so close to you and they dont even think a bout that aspect ,they dont even care .SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!...if you want to see a particular artist your best option its to attend to in other place where they are performing to enjoy the show and have a good quality service for the money to pay ,or to enjoy the show in Vegas where I know this particulary DJ perform most ,what a difference!!!!...For 94 dollars that we paid to getting the DJ was great ,but the service of this place its the worst ,they want to make look this place like its a Vegas night club but for all aspects they fail in dress code starting from there ,service to they clients its the worst, and poor behavior( harassment )to they custumers, the ridicules rules and cords they have inside of the place its just ridicules , I wouldnt recommend this place at all .
They SCAMERS like no tomorrow!!!! I paid 140$ for VIP ticket and what I got??? General admission for 140$All night long not even one Phantogram song!!!! School cheap remixes like MTV channel style. Security not allow u to walk in 70% of a venue. For 140 $ I been kicked out from every corner of the club. Wtfk people??? Phantogram??? Where Never go THERE. NOT Recommend it to anyone
If I could give 0 stars I would ! This place deserves to get shut down!! They keep employing overly aggressive, power tripping bouncers. They only act tough when they have the numbers. I was assaulted by the bouncers after trying to break up a fight between two girls, I wasn’t even involved and got assaulted & kicked out. To the p*ssy bouncer with the leather gloves I punched & all your p*ssy bouncer “boys” I pray I see you guys outside the club
Absolutely a stunning club.Staff was great. Last minute me and my girlfriend decided to attend. We didn’t have tickets but we were able to purchase them there. 30 a piece.Drinks are standard around 15 for a Jameson ginger ale.The dance floor is a bit small but the bar area is big. The music is amazing hip hop house to 40 special DJs the through confetti and balloons which is awesome!!!!Over all this club is 10/10 or 5/5I will come back anytime and I will bring friends.
Super awesome!!! My cousins didnt like it because some oversized bouncer with a neck tattoo took $20 out of my cousins (her bday) hand, and blamed it on her. Dont do me like that. But I was enjoying the drinks and dont listen to my cousins. Just because some hairless boy was unsure about his job description doesnt mean its not a great place.
Drinks were pretty awesome! Its just such a small club and they over sell. If you have claustrophobia, maybe dont try and go. Even any anxiety with over crowded places, just not recommended.
The TOP in nightlife and entertainment in Orange County (I come from Vegas..) They host some of the best DJs, and the experience is always spot on. Staff is professional and very accommodating. Shoutout to VIP Director Luis and our table girl Kelsey, thank you for taking care of us!
All I have to say is Andrew G. Helped out beyond belief and made my girlfriends birthday amazing and a smooth ride. Great with communication and getting back to us in a speedy manner. 10/10 would recommend Time night club and if your going to book a table go through Andrew G. He’s all anyone could ask for in a host.
My friends and I got a table on a Friday night and were assisted by the Director of VIP Services, Luis Amenero. Luis made our scheduling and check in process was a breeze, our table was in a good spot, and we were happy all night. Had a killer night at Time, and I highly recommend contacting Luis for services.
First time going to Time Nightclub and it didnt disappoint. We reserved VIP/Bottle Service and the staff was on point always taking care of us.Definitely recommend for a great time.
Time is the best place to go to listen to EDM and house music in OC, and a great place to bring your friends for a night out dancing! The staff is always professional, and this club brings in a ton of big-name DJs - recently I went to see Wax Motif and Moksi there and had a great experience at both. Awesome atmosphere, the visuals and sound are phenomenal, and you can see the DJ booth from anywhere in the club. If you haven’t yet, I would recommend checking it out!
Dreadful experience on all levels imaginable. I went to see ATB play here on Friday evening. He was supposed to come out at 9:30pm but he came out at midnight. I understand supporting artists play for an hour or so before the main act comes on but not for two and a half hours! On top of that I ordered a Moscow Mule that was really spicy. Nice venue but disappointing experience overall!
I would not go here again. The owner quoted me 450 for a bottle out the door then the promoter came out and said it was 650. I was about to leave but because I made a big deal about it they ended up throwing in a champagne bottle. They are quick to bait and switch you here. Also, if you get a bottle you sit behind the stage and not in the front where the artist perform. Not a place to see live performances!
Time nightclub was super fun for me and my friends. We were able to dance comfortably and enjoy the show from wherever we were in the venue. Super sick and rad venue with big artists
Worst club experience ever! I would never come back here. The club falsely advertised for 50 cent show. Each of us paid $30 for 50 cent show, but he never showed up. The DJ kept yelling “it’s 50 cent’s birthday. 50 cent is on the way” for the whole night. The DJs were bad; they made some good songs trashy. The dance floor is tiny; people got packed in there like sardines in a can. No way ones can dance in there. Seriously if there was something wrong going in there, no one could escape easily. We ended up standing in the perimeter surrounding the dance floor and got pushed over by the security guards every 10 minutes. The drinks were overpriced. My cosmopolitan tasted like cough medicine.
I went on their first night when Markus Schulz headlined and it was great! a little slow on the entry, but what do you expect. the bartenders were nice and the smoking area was a bit small. the sound was great and you have a good view of the stage anywhere inside.
From the moment you walk in the door you feel like a million bucks! The decor is beautiful & the atmosphere is topped off with amazing Gogo dancers. I highly recommend getting bottle service to complete the VIP treatment. If you know whats good for you youll make sure to ask for Leeann as your server. Good vibes go a long way & she definitely made our experience at TIME a memorable one! Cheers
Bad bad bad security, rude, unhelpful and aggressive. I said, Hello sir, how can get onto the main floor. I cant find a way in He responds, I dont have time for you, MOVE.... MOVE OUT the WAY! Another laid his hands on me as I was exiting another area. The music was not loud enough during the show. Everyone can have personal conversations in the middle of the floor. Sound system sucked.
This nightclub is amazing! Friendly bottle service/bar staff and lots of great talent each weekend. I highly recommend getting a table/bottle service with your friends or coworkers for the full VIP experience. I love it because it has a Las Vegas Nightclub look and feel with more reasonable prices. My friends and I can’t wait to go back!!
THIS IS SUCH A GREAT PLACE! The service is awesome. My whole group was well taken care of. Rick and Andrew G helped with making it a great night on my birthday. Thank you so much!!! I will definitely be back
Didnt completely hate it because I love Cash Cash and they made the club a little better (was able to ignore how tiny it is). But, being honest about the club itself... its terrible. The dance floor is very small and leaves no room for dancing. The dj platform is also very awkward. I did like the way the digital display is set up behind the platform and the lighting that is around the ceiling of the club. Security there is also very rude. On top of that they dont give free tap water (other clubs do). I did learn that you can enter for free if you show up early enough. This would probably be the only way I go again, because its not worth what they charge to get in.
Luis was awesome. I didn’t have pants only shorts cause of an event I went to before and since they got a dress code I couldn’t come in. Luis and every other security was great I went home to get a change of clothes and when I got back Luis let me in and personally gave me drink vouchers all the while staying friendly and professional, highly recommend!
Well equipped, convenient place. Preem sound and lighting (dancefloor). Lots of space. I felt quite comfortable here. Staff is professional and friendly, also looks good. Made a pleasant impression, going to visit again.
This place absolutely sucks. Gets super packed and you cant even get to the dancefloor unless you stand in line for like hours. Still gotta pay to get in, it felt like a scam. Gate stuff is unfriendly. The music was awful. Avoid!
We had an awesome time - security was very respectful and helpful, staff very attentive, great layout and Morten was awesome as usual.
First time here. Drinks expensive like any other nightclub. Tried to use the photo booth, didn’t work and no photos received and still charged ☹️ Have to try to dispute it with my bank. Also, not to sound like a hypocrite (since i obviously went out) but they didn’t seem to have any covid guidelines in place. No mention of vaccination records when buying tickets/at the door or mask mandate. Incredibly overcrowded which was disappointing- making it not feel worth going out during these trying times.
Best night ! The nightclub is clean, staff always attentive polite and generous, the dancers are beautiful talented and the bar has happy hour. The atmosphere is open, a patio for smoking, reserved tables, youre able to sit unless told otherwise by staff, rules are rules. There is a ramp and stairs to the dance floor.Best events at this nightclub.
Normally I don’t go to nightclubs but my old high school mates rented this venue our for a private party for our HS reunion. I’m not much of a nightclub goer, but it’s always fun to see who’s still looking good and who’s not anymore from high school plus it was open bar. I can’t say much about the price of drinks but the bartenders were super nice and the security was really friendly. We had a slide show playing on the LED wall which was huge (I would love to watch a movie on it) from when we were all in school and that was amazing to look back at. The decor was nice, the lighting was cool too although the lights were all on when we were in there, it didn’t have the smell of the usual bar when it’s after hours, it was actually nice and clean. If one of my buddies decide to get married I’ll suggest this place for a bachelor party so I don’t have to go to Vegas again, I’m sick of it haha!
This club sucked. We went to see above and beyonds after party. We can from the beach early so we still had our beach attire on.We were the second people there and treated like peasants. All the security guards kept looking at me like I was going to steal or break something .There is no were to sit. They charged me full price 3min before happy hour ended. They said I could have a free drink later on. When later on came that bartender was gone and they wouldn’t give me my free drink they promised. The dance floor was small and by 11pm no one could dance. It was just a bunch of people like sardines in front of the DJ. We left at 12:30 because I was getting claustrophobic standing against the wall with people all around me away from the stage. Never got to see above and beyond.
Called in and needed bottle service and Rick and Andrew G made it happen so easily and smoothly ... and responded quickly!! Any problems I had they handled like nothing!! Cant wait to enjoy our birthday celebration there!!
It looks really nice and fancy. The sound and visual were good. The bathroom and parking structure are spacious. The dance floor is way too small. There isnt much room to walk around the club. I suggest you stick to the far right bar area for the most room and away from the crowd unless you want to be pack like sardines.
I do have to say at first I thought the club was bad from having nowhere to sit and being moved out the way by guards ,as I really started getting into the groove I noticed how staff the service the guards were actually really awesome workers that are doing there best to make everyone safe and have a good time at first the women’s restroom was packed and the female guard was always coming in like if she was just trying to throw people out for being buzzed and then I seen a girl throwing up all over herself and almost hit her head and the female guard literally went out of her way to keep the women safe and helped her and made sure no one got in the way the guard was like a guardian angel protecting her and I realized that all the guards there were just protecting us and keeping it a safe place so there can be room to walk and so that if we do get to drunk they make sure we are safe and by the end of the night I ended up so drunk and if it wasn’t for the female guard watching over me some guy was trying to force me with him and the female guard literally made him leave and kept me safe till my lift came , I couldn’t believe how a guard had so much pacience and multi tasked dealing with all the drunk people . At first I thought the whole club including staff were rude and once my night was over I realized everything they do there is for us to have a good time and to keep us safe when we obviously can’t if we do get to drunk . So if you feel that at first the security and staff come off a bit aggressive it’s only because they are dealing with a high volume of people drinking and it gets crowded and if they don’t keep it safe and clear for people to walk around then I’m sure it would be chaotic. So if you want to have a club experience and have a good time then TIME NIGHTCLUB IS THE PLACE TO GO.
This place is crazy Expensive and long line to get in. And when you are in side can’t enjoy because the dance floor is full full of people. Overall not a fun place to spend time with friends. And that’s why I am giving this place a 2 stars ⭐️ ⭐️
Mr. Luis. I want to appreciate you for your great hospitality and service. We had an amazing time. I recommend everyone to ask for Luis When going times night club, because he go out of his way beyond your expectations.
Vegas feel in Orange County! If you are looking for a fun night out this is the place to be. They always have amazing/well-known artists and the light features and big screens are AWESOME. We had a table and the service was great and very attentive! Will definitely be going back soon!
Club itself, has a beautiful look to it, but the Dancefloor is suffocating no room to Dance At all, Two drinks were spilled on my back and another one on my friends back as well, please have a better system for it wristband are an option, just saying... The mans bathroom is far Wich is kinda cool, but its so hot and humid down there. Please stop overselling events people need room to breathe.
Been here many dozens of times and Ive had some bad times and great times. Overall great time with the party goers and staff. Bathroom is a bit hectic to get to but still a great place to visit if youre visiting the OC area. Also they raffle free tables once in a while!
Stole my friends belongings. Coat checked something with them and they refused to return it later.
I had the BEST TIME EVER! They made me feel like such a queen. From the front host to the inside staff. SO SO SO KIND! Music and atmosphere was fantastic. I cant wait to go back! Best nightclub in OC!
Horrible place. The guards kicked out a friend due to her being intoxicated (To their claim) at her own table that she paid for. They force people to leave so others can come in, and they dont let anybody inside once they go out. She paid to get kicked out in less than 30 minutes, from her own table. The place is nice, but the service is complete garbage and kills everything. The guards didnt let her back in even after she recovered while we waited outside with her due to us giving one of them attitude just for asking whats going on. A simple question, nothing more than a simple, and extremely easy to process question for this guy that we thought would be already stressed dealing with drunk people, just to receive his response there are manners to ask for things and that is not the right one. How unprofessional, and sensitive waste of mass and air someone can possibly be to do such a simple job wrong. That fat security guard with glasses really needs to get replaced ASAP, I have met way better security guards than him at many other locations, and most importantly mentally capable to handle stressful shifts. I hope he grows as a person one day.Afterwards another friend got threatened to get kicked out while we waited to sober up, just for asking for too much water. This place is a complete joke, the service is trash and they steal your money. You cant even ask for water because you will get kicked out due to asking for water being a suspicious activity, even when they didnt thoroughly check any of us at all for weapons.I wouldnt recommend this place to anybody. This place is a complete shame due to their service, and a waste of time and money.
Terrible experience. They over pack this venue. The dance floor is tiny and if you leave to go to the restroom or get a drink you have to wait in a long line to get back into it.
A friend of mine lost his wallet at time, thankfully one of the staff name Andrew found his wallet. Time can throw it down on a weekend one of the best clubs in OC! If u love EDM time has some good Djs. If you want good vibes, this place is the one!
I’ve worked at many nightclubs and attended many nightclubs but Time Nightclub is by far is one of the best looking venues there is. The front door staff are alot better then most i’ve experienced. The host are fun and not rude. The security guards deal with unpleasant people all the time but they’re definitely not the worst i’ve experienced. The bartenders actually want you to have a good time when you’re there and the DJ talent that comes through this venue is amazing. Is this venue perfect, no but nothing is perfect. People probably have something negative to say about Mother Teresa, lol. Point is nothing will ever be up to your standards, so stop complaining. Come check out Time Nightclub and leave your issues at home.
Before you spend the time to go to this establishment. Know this, the cover cost is going to be insane. This club has a monopoly in the area for its kind and so they charge whatever they like for a cover fee and act like its okay. I paid $40 just to get in, and it was like a surprise because you dont even see how much it will be until after you wait 30-45 minutes in a line and walk up to the ticket counter. Drinks are insanely overpriced as well($13 mixed drinks) and the ratio between single guys and gals are absolutely horrendous(more guys than girls obviously).I will say the DJ wasnt bad and music and decor was on point, but it doesnt make up for the ridiculous prices and club experience. Me and my friend got bored after an hour.
Bought tickets to come see my favorite DJ Deorro tonight and honestly had one of the worst experiences ever at this nightclub... Instead of having a good time and enjoying his music I became extremely annoyed and frustrated of how dumb packed it was!! Constantly getting shoved and moving out the way for someone every minute can make anyone go mad! I ended up leaving early because there was literally nowhere to stand and I just grew frustrated that I couldnt even enjoy a minute of my favorite artist performance.. honestly this place shouldve regulated the capacity more and gave only priority to those who bought tickets to see Deorro but nope they jammed packed everyone to make a profit. Dont think Ill be returning after tonights experience.
TIME is the best club and place to be in the OC. Luis, director of VIP, always takes care of us and makes sure we have the best time.
Time is the best nightclub in OC hands down! The top talents in dance music often play there and huge hip hop artists often host hip hip nights every weekend at this beautiful and state of the art venue. The best part is that they usually offer a free guest list for every show! Be sure to reach out to your favorite promoter for your next night out if you need guest list or bottle service!
The venue is really well put together, they have some insane talent come through and the sound is perfect. Great spot! They recently started to bring some huge hip hop talent to go along with the Edm which is great for whatever mood you’re feeling that weekend.
Easily the best spot for electronic music fans in OC. Multiple genres, headliner level DJs, great drinks and a great floor. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great weekend
This club sucks. Packed and you can’t get on the dance floor without a wrist band. Saw YG and he comes out 10 minutes before closing and plays 4 songs and played 1 of the songs twice 😂 people throwing up on the dance floor was a nice touch. I’m from LA, I’ll stay over here. Dress code is not enforced at all.
Friends won a vip table for bassjackers. About an hour later, with no considerate update, we were told to leave the table because someone paid for it. We offered to pay and still were told to leave. AND a bartender fraudulently changed the tip I gave. Never going back.
I LOVEEE this club! I always come on hip hop and r&b nights. Atmosphere is fun. All the bartenders are nice. Drinks are a bit overpriced, but seems to be normal to me for good clubs. I 100% recommend this club though.
I went to Time Nightclub to see Ferry Corsten a few months back. Obviously to world class DJ and music was my main draw, but overall Time is a HUGE upgrade from the previous club Sutra. There is plenty of open space so you don’t have to feel crammed, but if you want in on the dance floor, be prepared to be stuffed like anchovies at peak hours. High ceilings, good visuals, and solid sound from straight on. I would go back again, as having even a table in the corner seems worth the price tag. Seem to bringing in better and better talent as it’s reputation grows. Keep bringing the trance!
Ive been to clubs from New York City to Hawaii and Time nightclub is my least favorite. If youre going to prioritize bottle service so much that your normal patrons are stuck in the corner behind a rope while you run around with flashlights screaming at them to get out of the way, and your dance floor is the size of my living room, I dont think you should even call yourself a nightclub. I could not of been more disappointed and would recommend you going down the street!! You guys define Southern California trash! What a joke!
This club is not safe for women, stay far away. How could you kick out that poor woman. You should be protecting all of your guest in your club who go there to spend money and have a good time. Do better. Ladies stay away. For your own safety
Wayyyy too crowded to be a concert venue
Never going back to this place , man after going here for a while with all my family and friends and for the 8th times going back on New Years this security guy said my I.D was a fake like what are you serious do I not look like Im over 21 and why would I even bring a fake Id if Ive brought tickets. Just bad service all together at the front after my uncle forgot his drivers license at home so we drove 1 hour back to grab it then that happened too so no no more timeshiclub
The dance floor is so tiny. No seating without reservation. Sound is whatever. Drinks ok. Id rather go to academy or exchange.
Consider this the OC imitation of Omnia Las Vegas! My boyfriend and I decided to go to their grand opening on a whim, albeit it being a Thursday night because who could turn down Slushii?!** LOCATION **-- IT IS NOT LOCATED WHERE SUTRA USED TO BE! --It is located on the first floor across from the bowling alley and underneath Yardhouse. They also do not have anything more than a projected image of Time Nightclub on the wall to indicate where it is. I had only been able to find it after a security guard noticed we were looking around the second floor to find it...** TICKETS / GUEST LIST **You can easily buy tickets on their website and can also get discounts with promo codes that promoters give you. For their guest list, its free until 10pm but the club opens at 9pm and some of my friends have experienced terrible wait times where they hold the line every 15 minutes in order to force everyone to buy tickets after guest list closes, so BEWARE!! Come super early if youre serious about free entry.** SETTING / AMBIENCE **First thing I thought upon walking in: Omnia Las Vegas. From the floral, electronic backdrop at the entrance to the central chandelier in the main room, it was basically a copy of the LV club. I will say that the club is MUCH bigger than sutra. By a lot, in fact, and I really appreciate that because there is now more room to walk and dance.** DANCE FLOOR **VERY. PACKED. Please come early if you expect to even enter the dance floor. Otherwise, be prepared to be sandwiched between sweaty bodies on sweaty bodies. (Like I said, think Omnia LV)Pro tip: stay to the sidelines where there is much more room!Extra pro tip: Dj enters and exits from left side of the stage ;)** DRINKS / BAR **I wouldnt readily call these Vegas prices, but I also find a vodka Red Bull at $13 to be a bit expensive. The only reason why I didnt complain was because my bartender served me 3oz. of vodka instead of their 2 oz. pour, and honestly, who can complain about that?! Their Fiji water bottles, for my DDs out there, are only $5 each. You can also get complimentary glasses of water at the same time of purchase if you would like. The bartenders were very sweet. One thing I noticed however is that they didnt have any check presenters, only receipts to hand out. Thought that was a little unprofessional and they should definitely think of purchasing some.Other than that, there are two bars in the club--each on opposite ends of the club.** RESTROOMS **Very clean and stalls a-plenty! I was pleasantly surprised to see a very well lit bathroom with an attached powder room for girls to reapply their makeup and of course, take selfies. There is an iPad on the screen that lets you take short videos of yourself that you can send via email. They also have one outside as well! One thing I thought was pretty neat: they have a separate window for the bar so you can also order inside!Overall, I would definitely say that this is a much better improvement to the old Sutra. Since they are relatively the same staff, I cant say if itll be anything like their old counterpart (in a negative way), but with my first impression of the venue I would definitely return for another show.
Overall good place but with a giant flaw. More on that later but first, what I liked. I had no issues with parking or the bouncers. Good start. The club is vegas-esque done well, easy to get a drink, hot staff, good sound and light system. My main problem with this place and most clubs these days is they are not as fun as they use to be. The reason for this is the setup. Clubs want the DJ front and center like he or she is the star of the show. So now you got everyone lined up watching the dj instead of just dancing to the music and having fun.. Also there is no intimate spot to get your groove on because your surrounded and its too bright. next time you go to a club look at how people on the dance floor are just staring dumbly at the dj. I need to seriously design my own club.
I had the worst customer service at Time nightclub. There club has a wired no reentrance policy, except when the bouncers get some tip. The cost check doesnt accept credit cards (why???) and in order to get cash, I had to go to my car to get my debit card, then I wasnt able to get in, even though I had a wristband and the bouncer at the club knew that Im going to get money. The coat check lady was rude. Ill never go back to this club again.
My friends (about 10 of us) and I were at Time on Saturday, March 3rd. What an awesome night! We were able to get comped bottle service and a table close to the DJ. The music was amazing. I believe the main DJ that night was Brklyn and he was on point! Im definitely going back to Time for my next event.
The absolute worst venue I’ve EVER been to! I would avoid this place. The dance floor is extremely small because the place is literally all private tables. 30% dance floor, 70% private tables.
EDIT: I have now visited Time to see Tyga live, and it was okay. A small wannabe Vegas nightclub. Tyga was on for not quite 30 minutes, and he came on right before the club had to close. So, if youre going to see a live artist, especially a popular one like Tyga, buy your tickets early so theyre cheap and arrive as late as they will still let you in so you dont have to wait through sub-par DJs.--Communication with this club is impossible. I applied for the guest list for a bachelorette party group and called multiple times to ask questions about options for this group and never got a call back.We did end up getting on the guest list via email, but it doesnt say if that means free or even discounted entry. I then called a few more times and never got an answer or call back, so we didnt know what to expect. Upon arrival, we learned that it was only $10 off and the door price that night (for women) was $50 each! So we left and went bowling next door and to Goat Hill Tavern down the street all dressed up for Time. The guys working at the bowling alley even texted friends at Time to try to get us in free and they said they were 50 people over capacity and couldnt let us in free. Fifty over capacity doesnt sound fun anyway...I am glad we didnt pay the ridiculous expense to get in.
Security writing reviews to save their own job? Security needs manners, they curse belittle and shout at you. They made my friend cry, we left.
This place is lowkey a scam, they oversell and people there are hella rude don’t recommend 👎🏽👎🏽
Aside from extremely rude bouncers, members of my group were escorted out of the club without any warning or just cause. Additionally they were not even allowed to find us which caused an hours long unnecessary search to find them. Waste of money for entry, waste of money for drinks. Bathrooms additionally are journey to get to, as well as stupid quiet. Service is really what causes this 1 star review.
Great place but just to small for what they’re trying to do … the dance floor was at max but they kept telling people to keep filling it up
PUT SOME COVERING OVER YOUR FEMALE STAFF! SIGN OF THE TIMEs ABSOULTLY UNACCEPTABLE! SHOW SOME CLASS AND GIVE THEM MINI SKIRTS.THESE GIRLS WERE BARE A S S E D.
Spacious nightclub, with lots of reserved seating if you wanted a section. The music that was played, was good also. I had a margarita and a pineapple Express. Both tasted liked they were mixed with coconut water. I dont know if it was the liquor that was used, or it was actual coconut water, but it wasnt good at all.
Want to go to a Vegas like night club and still make it home ?! Time Night Club is definitely the best club in Orange County. It is very spacious and the lighting and interior designs are beautiful! This is a great place to celebrate a birthday, bachelorette, or wedding party!!!
World class nightclub, always best music and dj’s. Very nice venue. Been there many times. Always had a great experience. Drinks are strong and good! Vegas style club here in OC!
Time is always a good time just like the good old Sutra days.Crowds are mixed and good music, with headliner djs often.Drink poors arent bad and the prices are above avg.Lines to get in can be a wait if you dont know people or if its a big night.Venue is large for a O.C. joint with 2 good size bars, small outside area, and only downside the restroom is downstairs.Overall a great spot and would be back and recommend it.
Havent been to a night club in OC for a long time. The last time was probably the now gone Sutra. This place is definitely a step up. A giant step up. The staff seem to be very organized and (gasp) friendly!Inside the venue is Vegas-esque. The ambiance was hype and the energy was phenomenal. Walking through the entrance there is a Selfie wall, to obviously take selfies with you and yo friends. Then comes a couple choices. To the left, the bar. To the right and towards the back. The bar. Sandwiched in between the two bars is a packed dance floor with nice acoustics and knockin bass. Now, surrounding the dance floor are the VIP tables. The VIP tables dont have a barrier between people and the tables. So, security is constantly flashing their lights like theyre having their own little party to get people to move out of the way or walking area. If management really wanted no one to stand there in that space then, theres a simple solution. Put a barrier or spacer in that space. Security wouldnt have to spend most of the night patrolling and shooing people away.Other than that little aspect, this place is a Hot Spot for night clubbing in Orange County. Give it a go!
The staff was really helpful on the website and in person. We were able to get a few of us a comped table for a couple hours and they had to move us when it was purchased, but hey thats totally understandable. Drinks were well priced and oh my GOD the sound.... Vegas status.
The best club in orange country! A Vegas feel in the comfort of home. They always have new artist coming by and the crowd is awesome! If you haven’t been , you have to check it out!
Unsafe environment. My wife was groped my one of the security staff on the floor. I confronted him right away but he acted in a manner as if he cant hear me. I reported his conduct to another security staff that seemed to be holding a superior position. To my surprise, his response was SO WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO. 1AM February 25th. 2018. We immediately left the premises. Sexual harassment and abuse is widely present at this venue. BE AWARE. Feel free to reach me if you like to find out more about our experience.
Adrenaline rushing atmosphere. Top notch DJs with a kick ass sound system. Reasonable pricing on tickets and drinks.Entry: Id recommend ordering tickets online so you dont have to pay more up front and youll get your groove on in a more timely manner! Ive seen some bouncers up the price on entrys after 10:30PM and hold the line. Trust me on that one. HahaDancefloor: Poppin, to say the least.Bars: The bars are wide so you have more room to order drinks in a large crowd. The waiting time for a drink is probably 1 Minute giving you enough time to find a guy or gal I suppose.Smoking Area: Small but you cant complain. Its a Nightclub not a hookah lounge...The security here is pretty uptight when it comes to drinking responsibly so dont ever leave your wingman hanging. Other than that Mark is the bouncer you want to Network with.Enjoy!
We stood in line for 30min for no real apparent reason other than their unreasonable metering of people. Then they asked for $50 admission per person. How insane is that! What couple pays $100 admission to a night club with expensive drinks. You guys are ridiculous and greedy!
I go to the club to dance and for that I have to give this club a 1 ⭐️… the dance floor is the size of 10 tuna cans and we’re the tuna smashed in. The the good thing is the staff is cool and pleasant.
Great O.C. nightclub/concert venue. I was here to see Krewella, great show!!! I was expecting a potentially snobby place, but it was honestly great. Parking in the garage was free (HALLELUJAH!!!!!) and right next door. Close to Newport Beach /Newport Pier. I will be returning to see Paul Oakenfold soon! Ive never understood why these clubs dont pimp drinks on and around the dance floor at these events(NO ONE WANTS TO GIVE UP THEIR PLACE, TO GO FETCH DRINKS)they could make a killing!
This establishment kicked out a girl, a victim of assault because she only said no to the man, the assaulter. They just didn’t ask questions about the situation and the victims was unfairly treated. From this, it gives a message that establishment will not keep its place safe.
A world class establishment in the heart of Costa Mesa. A Vegas away from Vegas. For the prices they charge and the entertainment they bring, its hard to find a better choice for a night out in Orange County. TIME is slowly taking over the market for OC Nightlife and their continued strive for excellence in all they do will fast track them there. On big nights it will get packed but thats what you should expect when some of the biggest names in music are hitting the decks there. Before making too strict of a judgement, remember to be thankful that where we live we are able to experience nights like TIME offers.
Great music! I always check the club website to see what type of music will be playing for the night.. Hip Hop/ EDM/ Top 40.. 2 bars!! meaning there isnt a crazy wait for a drink.. Im originally from Vegas so this was the closest to a Vegas club that Ive found so far in OC!
Time Nightclub is Best nightclub in Orange County to see the greatest talents in dance music today. They have state of the art sound equipment and lights. They often offer complimentary guest list as well!
Waited in line to for 45 minutes! Arrived before 10 pm to purposely make us wait and charge $20 (full price) at the door. ALL A SCAM! Place deserves less than a star...talked to the manager..stating it was policy to prioritize ticket holders. Where were the ticket holders?
It is the worst place that I have ever been . You pay .cocktails cost $ 12 dollars and it is a small glass with ten cubes of ice !! And then you want sit to enjoy your horrible drink but there is not any place where you can sit because if you want sit you must pay for a private table !! Whats the hell !! Hahah i had been in diferent countries and cities in USA and this is the place with the most stupid rules and the worst customer service that I have ever seen !! I did not know whether to cry or to laugh .Then you have the security every 5 minutes asking... hey can you move ?? This is a walk way hahaha so then you move and another clown come to say the same hahah but the real problem is this club that dont have any sofa and everybody is in the small bar like a bunch of dumbcows . From the outside the club seems huge but once inside is absurdly small . The side where you dance is really small and the most funny is that all girls are taking selfies all night !! Oh my God ...is like her first party in their lifes !! Hahah . I recommend that the owner visits other clubs ... to see what a decent club looks like ...it would be a good idea for him.😜😜😜

This club did not only kick out a female who was a assaulted by a male, they did nothing to protect her or gave any consequence towards the assaulter. Women, please walk the other way and a find a club more suitable that will defends it’s female patrons.
This is a Las Vegas style night club right in the heart of Orange County! The bottle service girls are super attentive and help to make the experience unforgettable! I highly recommend this club for any occasion!
The club was lit af. my homie paul said it was one of his best nights he ever had. we met 10/10 chicks from russia and argentinia. drinks are pretty cheap compared to other clubs in that area. music was also lit af, not sure if they had a famous dj or not (probably, since the club was packed). worth checking it out :)
There hasnt been any lack of things to do on the weekends due to time nightclub always having a banger artist come through and making my nights something to rave about. My condolences to Yuiry for making every experience with this nightclub simple and fun ! ! ! 10/10 would recommend.
Time night club definitely has the Vegas feel but in OC ! The staff was super friendly assertive and always made sure our drinks were full ! I would definitely come back again!
This club is not safe. Four people including me lost their phones on the night i was here. The club authorities were not able to do anything about it. After reading previous reviews I found out that this has happened before. The way the situation was handled was not acceptable.
Dance floor is encircled by the VIP booths and inaccessible if VIP is full. Security takes cash bribes though to let you in, right in front of the owner who looks the other way.
Terrible experience. I went to go see Blackbear on 8/18 and after he finally got on stage he sang about 3 songs (5 minutes) and just walked off stage. Clearly drunk out of his mind. The bartenders were also extremely rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend!
Time Night Club brings Vegas to OC! By far the nicest and biggest club in Orange County. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate a birthday, bachelorette/bachelor party or just to party this is definitely the place to go!
This venue is absolutely a let down . I feel like I’m in a Vegas nightclub that’s on a budget. With everything over priced. Sound was subpar and the vibes never add up
Never had anything but a great time here, no pun intended. Get in touch with Luis, he will go above and beyond to give you the best experience possible.
Uses bait and switch tactics to get people into their club. Advertised 50 Cent showing up, which he never did. Drinks were horrendous AND overpriced. People who work here are arrogant and rude. Absolutely never go here.
I’ve had nothing but great experiences at this club. Good music and fun atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this club to family, friends, and anyone else looking to have a good time in the OC area.
Had my 40th Birthday Party here, had an amazing time. Security guard needs to lighten up on the people thats setting up. Made a big deal about coming in and out. Wonderful DJs
Neat venue in regards to its equipment (sound, visual) the night I was there, the crowd looked like an 18+ club and were acting like it. Some aggressive club goers almost got in a fist fight with someone in my party - that would have been bad for them.
My phone got stolen, done by professional theft. That night over 10 ppl phone got stolen. Following weekend my friend phone got stolen on the dance floor as well, bad place to be in. Be careful guys.
Gonna have to give this place 5/5.The long islands taste great, great music, I would compare this place to like the Lavo Nightclub in NYC. Great variety of music from EDM, Hip Hop, well done.
This business does not protect its women patrons. A friend of mine got hit by a man and they kicked them both out and left the woman to her own devices. Trash, would not come.
High prices at the bar and possibly long lines to get in. We had bottle service when we went, but it took a while for the drinks to actually come. Typical club, but Id recommend drinking beforehand instead of purchasing from there.
