I had a great time getting a facial done at this place!! She really set the tone for my appointment, and she explained to me the whole process! Juana did my facial and she is phenomenal. Hello, my name is Katherine Umpierre and Rafael Perez, we have been members for 5 years, long before the pandemic and we have never canceled, today, Monday, August 19, we attended our massage at 3:00 pm and when we arrived the two girls at the reception very rudely and very unprofessional told us that they could not let us in because our ID was in a photo and we explained that we did not know that they needed it in person because no one had told us, which for these 5 years we have shown the same on the phone and everything has been fine, apart from that we asked for a manager and there was none present at 3pm in the afternoon, but they did tell us that the manager was checking the cameras which we considered to be a lie, after that they told us to leave and apart from that they charged us for the two hours without giving us the service and without being able to speak with a present manager. We need the manager of that location at 136th and 88th St to contact us, thank you,totally disappointed, very poor service, for frequent customers.

I loved my experience. Erick was gentle yet firm with my problem areas. Best money I’ve ever spent. If you are on the fence about it I urge you to go. Just experience it for yourself.

Very relaxing massage. Went in very stressed and left completely opposite. Jeanette was professional and did not talk much so that I could disconnect which I appreciated because this is generally an area that I have had issues with in the past. Jeanette has also given the best massage that I ever had! It was the perfect amount of pressure and felt so much better than I have in a long time. This was my second time with her and will definitely not be the last!

This rate does not reflect my massage from Silvana. She was absolutely phenomenal!!! I also really enjoyed Juana and my facial. I gave one star because of the lack of organization from management/ front desk staff. And when you ask for a number or email for corporate, I was told that they don’t have one. And that the email that they can give me will just end up being sent to them. Absolutely horrible. Staff is constantly leaving. So when you finally find a good masseuse or aesthetician they are gone. While you cannot control staff leaving, the fact that everyone is constantly quitting shows the lack of organization where management is concerned.

I love this Massage Envy Location, The Ladies in the front are very nice, always answer all of my questions too and let me know of their specials as well. I have gotten 2 1 Hour Massages so far with Cleide and love it, She massages good, and is very nice as well.

The massage itself was good but the problem was the adjustable headrest pillow, I was extremely uncomfortable and the masseuse did everything in her power to help.. next day my face was hurting so much and soar because I basically had my face down for 90 mins on the pillow that’s been overused and at this point should be changed.

Compliments to Luna, she is extremely helpful and great at explaining everything, well be back to sing up a membership with her! She is so great we changed our home location here, even though the country walk location is closer to us just because of the night and day difference in costumer service

Cleide was exceptional. She focused on the area that I specifically needed. I don’t like going to massage places and being un-heard. Cleide did exactly what i needed her to do on my back. Yesterday I missed my appointment because my car broke down and needed to be towed. I couldn’t call on time to cancel because I was with the insurance company on the phone requesting help. I was charged because I guess my priority should be calling Massage Envy first instead of the towing company to help me move my car.

I came to this location for a massage and a facial. Let me start off by saying that the front desk staff are incredibly welcoming. They all made me feel right at home during the check-in process and the manager paid special attention to my needs and preferences. I first received a massage from Magda. Magda is incredible at what she does. She catered the session to my specific needs and kept a consistent open line of communication with me. She listened to my requests and facilitated an extremely relaxing experience. I only booked for 60 minutes but I felt like it was a 90 minute session. She made me feel that she had my best interest at heart. Very sweet and polite and fluent in both English and Spanish. Cant say enough good things about her and her massage and would recommend her to anyone. I also received a facial from Juana. Juana is just excellent. She made me feel very well taken care of. She was very thorough in her assessment and treatment of the specific needs of my skin. She is extremely knowledgeable and provided very helpful tips and suggestions for me to continue to care for my skin at the clinic and at home as well. Her session was very relaxing and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to receive a facial and wise advice from someone so genuine, polite and informed. I highly recommend anyone looking to be well taken care of to book a session here!

Had a 1 hour massage with Erik. He was attentive to my complain of mid back pain. Added heat towels and worked the area. Came back super relieved.

Not being a Karen at all but...worst massage of my life. The girl behind the counter was great. The masseuse, not at all. Massage was as good as when you ask your wife to give you a massage and she caresses and pokes at you for like 2.38 seconds after youve given her a pro level massage.Overall, meh. Again, girl bedding the counter/that helped us, was great. Cant remember her name, skinny, nose ring (I think?), brunette .. made me think wow, shes pretty good at her job, she belongs somewhere else/betterShame ...Not the greatest mothers day gift idea on my part. Shoulda sprung for a true spa at a hotel on the beach or the Trump hotel instead.First time at Massage Envy, last time at Massage Envy.

David at Massage in West Kendall is by far the best masseuse I have ever had. He applies the exact amount of pressure in the areas I am specific about. He is courteous and very respectful. I highly recommend him

The most uncomfortable facial ever! For more than a decade I have been a member of ME and its always been great except this time. Cristina was very rough and literally heavy handed. I asked her twice to please be easier on my face and each time she said the problem was me because one thing or the other. When she was almost done I asked her to please put something on my face to calm it down. She did not. I left with my face sore, feeling like a lawn mower had run by it. She needs to listen and be softer with her hands. First time ever I give a negative review of any service or employee of ME. Its unfortunate.

My favorite massage therapist is Helaine, she really works on all the areas, she s great at massaging the knots on my neck & shoulders, then she covers the areas with a warm towel which feels awesome! after I leave the session I feel so relaxed and rejuvenated. She is awesome! 😃

I had the pleasure of going to Massage Envy Kendall’s location as a gift. I was taken care of by the front desk right away, the girls were courteous and acknowledged me even though they were on the phone. I was taken care of by Leyanis, she was gem, she answered all my questions, explained everything and put me at ease. I was a bit nervous. My massage therapist was Helaine! Okay place and okay staff but the place was freezing. Told the massage therapist 4 times during the massage and she just repeated back that it was cold without doing anything. I roughed it out and when I was done I told the woman that was giving me a health plan that it was freezing and her statement was its always cold here and moved on. Cant say I will ever be back here since I left shivering and the staff didnt care/brushed off any problems.

So I had been a member here for a couple of years until I had my son. After he was born I wanted to come back because my back has been giving me trouble again. I went once in October and when I left the young lady at the front desk gave me a card so that I could use the introductory price again the next time I needed to come. When I called today to see if there is appointment available I spoke with Jennifer manager. She told me I could not use this card that it was meant to be given to my friends and family. I told her that was not what Isabella had explained it all. So I asked her if she would honor the coupon and let me book an hour and a half today but she told me that she would rather not have my business. That is definitely not the customer service that I used to get! I don’t know what has happened to this store, but it’s ridiculous that they would rather turn away my business (especially since I wanted to book at least an hour and a half) then honor the coupon that they gave me!

Extremely disappointed with this location. Been a member over 10 years and they were trying to charge me for an appointment I never made. Claiming same day cancellations and that they left me a voicemail? So sketchy and it seems like something this location does to redeem services without members noticing. The manager Jess should definitely be reconsidered, her customer service is the worst.

I recently had an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience with Massage Envy, and I feel compelled to share my grievances with others to prevent them from going through the same ordeal. My trust in this establishment has been completely shattered.To provide some context, I received a call from Massage Envy to schedule a massage due to my accumulation of services. I was appreciative of the proactive effort from their end, but little did I know that it would turn into an absolute nightmare.Upon arriving at my usual location, I was shocked to discover that I had been misinformed about the appointment location. No one bothered to inform me beforehand that the massage was scheduled at a different location.Desperate to salvage the situation, I immediately contacted the correct location, only to be informed that I would be charged a whopping $125 for a service I didnt even receive. Its outrageous that Massage Envy expected me to bear the financial burden for their own miscommunication and lack of organizational competence.What infuriates me further is the fact that I never received a confirmation text or email notifying me of the change in location. Its inconceivable that an establishment of this caliber would neglect such a crucial aspect of customer service. How can they expect customers to keep up with their ever-changing arrangements without proper communication?This entire experience has left me feeling utterly disheartened and betrayed. As a long-standing customer, I expected much better treatment from Massage Envy. Instead, I was met with incompetence, indifference, and a complete lack of accountability.I strongly advise anyone considering a visit to Massage Envy to think twice. The negligence and disregard for customer satisfaction that I encountered are completely unacceptable. There are plenty of other establishments out there that value their clients and take pride in providing exceptional service. Went back to this location in hopes of establishing a better relationship and was extremely disappointed. This location is closest to my home but sadly does not embody the calming essence the brand strives to create. The therapist barely scratched the surface of my tension despite feedback rendered during the service. He never once touched my forearms or hands, which remained tucked the entire session. I left there more stressed than when I entered and quickly booked 90 minutes at the Country Walk location! Best decision I could have made that day! The next therapist took every bit of tension out and I was back to feeling stress free and light as a feather. I didn’t want to leave this poor review for Kendall’s location but the manager that reached out to me was so complacent with my feedback. Instead of offering any service recovery, she gave excuses to the matter as if I caused the poor service. I had no idea the experience could get any worse. I highly recommend East Kendall, Country Walk, Tamiami, and the Falls. Kendall is not what it used to be. I’ve been with M.Envy since 2019.

They were very professional. Most of the staff were bilingual. They were able to help me immediately since I had an appointment. I then waited in the waiting area. Their waiting area is a small square room, the have tea available for to make. I didnt have to wait long until I was called and the service was great. I got a microderm facial, and boy it was incredible. They were explaining the science behind it and the skin regular cycles. They tested not only my face area but also the back of my ears and over my neck area. Overall a great experience.

Juana did my facial. She was amazing. Very knowledgeable and kind. Really made sure I understood what she was doing and how I can better my skin.

Avoid at all costs. Employees have continued to troll, harass and be completely misleading. The manager has dodged my calls since & finally gave me a call back again today after my 4th problem with them. She then continued to only give me condescending answers so it’s very clear where the employees get their ways and attitude. She also confirmed they do write notes on clients, so at this point I think they are harassing me on purpose.I haven’t been to their location in 11 years and they still continue to call me to book appointments. The employee yesterday called me and said “I see you see this person” making me believe it’s the location I now go to. Why would you mention someone I haven’t seen since 2012? That’s 11 years. Over a decade. I then asked for a confirmation text and email because this is not the first time this has happened to me and was then told they “couldn’t do”. Because of this I have now showed up twice to the wrong location and lost $120 worth of credits that they cared less about. Offered no help or to be honest, wasn’t even kind about.I have also tried to give credits to my dad & brother who have the same name and they basically called me a liar saying they were the same person. Honestly there is not enough room to type how awful my experience has been here. I have had WONDERFUL experiences with the Brickell & coral gables location. PLEASE PLEASE WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT SIGN UP AT THIS LOCATION.

Grabbed the membership for facials and decided to try the massage even though Im not really a massage person. I carefully read reviews and decided to book with Helaine. Oh my goodness it was amazing! All I wanted to do was run to my house and take a nap because of how relaxed I felt. Such a great experience and will definitely be coming back for massages. Great deal too!

Magda is a wonderful massage therapist. She has a firm but delicate touch and she is an expert on massaging the knots and tension of the muscles. She listens to your concerns and strives to make you feel comfortable . I recommend her as the best!

Had a horrible booking experience. We tried booking a couples session for my wife and I for this evening for a date night and while we were able to book her session had to call another location to transfer the credits she had accumulated to book my half of the session. When we called the other location we were told they changed their policy and couldn’t transfer anymore. This even though we have done it before. No problem we’d just change our plans.Then we called back the original location to inform them we couldn’t make the session because of their own company’s policies and they said they would charge us the FULL price of the session even though we just booked it and with them knowing we wanted to go together.Don’t subscribe to them, there is so much red tape when you try to bring a guest and they tack on fees to everything. Even if you just booked and made a mistake you pay the full price. This company has really gone down hill. I canceled my subscription now and this interaction with the company has ruined our planned evening.

Had a massage and facial .. the massage was 1.5 hr wish they would have massage my whole body instead of spending the majority of the time on my back - came home very sore- facial was okay hydration facial - also the rooms need to be updated seems like they need work

I really enjoyed the massage. My therapist was amazing! My facial was great but at the end I felt I was being bullied into buying their products. I kept saying no and they kept insisting. They tag team with the cashier that “searched” for my previous purchases to try to “catch” me in a lie after I said I already purchased that item. That almost ruined my entire experienced.

This was one of the best massages of my whole life and it made me want to buy the membership immediately. Viviana is amazing and sounds just like my mother-in-law. I think shes from Cali and her accent sounds like Home. I will come back a million times. Also the girl who spoke to me with the iPad and took my membership was amazingly sweet and loving

Ive been a member for over 10 years and Ive had nothing but great experiences with the service and the staff. Helaine is one of the masseuses and she does a great job in medium to deep tissue and is super professional. It takes around 2 to 3 weeks to book her so I make sure to do so in advance for all my favorite masseuses. Thank you Helaine and Massage Envy!

If you want a great massage you need to ask for Pablo and the experience with him will be amazing, I promise. From the moment he calls your name to the moment you are leaving he is completely attentive. Right before your massage begins he will confirm every detail therefore there’s no confusion, which is great. Not like other places where they skim through quickly, he actually cares to speak to you and understand what you want/need. During the massage he checks in to make sure the pressure is good and the heat on the table isn’t too hot along with letting you know when he’s going to work on certain areas. Also, he never forgets to offer you something to drink and etc. Overall, his work is amazing and the way he knows how to use his hands is just something else lol. Great experience!UPDATE: David is also really great. I love how he works and uses every minute to truly make you feel better. He does not waste time and gets straight to the point. If you want a deep tissue he’s a great option.Also, Eduardo was AMAZING but he left :( I really really hope they get him back because he changed my life! He is a once in a lifetime therapist and no one compares with all due respect.

I didnt go in the place, but I called to inquire about prices and reservations. The lady who helped me, I believe her name was Gaby, was amazing! Polite, very helpful and knowledgeable. My friend who had a facial done there, said it was amazing and that her face was radiant. So in overall, Massage Envy is great!

I booked just a few hours before my appointment because I was feeling the stress building up in my body. Went in not expecting much, just needed to relax. Karel shocked me with how amazing his work is. He spent so much time working on my back and knew exactly where all the tight spots were.

Great experience! The place is very clean, the rooms have nice soft music to relax to. They have a sitting room where you can grab a glass of cold water or make yourself a hot tea to relax. Came to try out a massage and Eduardo did such a wonderful job that I signed up for the membership just so I could make sure to come back to him. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. He has a holistic aspect to his massages which is an added bonus. I look forward to my monthly massages with Eduardo.

Thank you for fitting us in last minute for our anniversary couples massage. This was my 2nd visit and i love my fiance sooo much, i let him borrow my masseuse, Helaine. SHE. IS. AMAZING!!!! She was sent from heaven and heals you from the inside out. She gave great recommendations for hollistic ways to help my arthritis inflammation that has helped immensely. She is a God-fearing woman that prayed over me in a moment i was only trying to find a quick escape from all my diagnoses and stresses. She is one in a million & i cant wait to go back!!! We signed up for a membership ...we are in it for the long haul!

While the massages are good, the front desk staff and managers are rude and inconsiderate. If you want to cancel, do it a month in advance because they are slow with processing, will give you wrong information and still try to charge you. The price of the membership keeps increasing and is not worth dealing with them

Great place, came here to get a free massage and they hooked me. Got me a great deal and I had to pay nothing to sign up. The girls at the front desk were professional and welcoming. The masseuse did a good job getting rid of my knots. I had a great experience and definitely will be going back.

Massage envy does a lot of things right and a couple things wrong — they have great massages, and the deep tissue massages at this location is fantastic with all of their experts.I come often with my wife for couple massages and have always found the place clean and a soothing atmosphere.i do I feel the constant cross-sales and pushy product sales are a bit much but, I do understand it!, I also highly recommend they’re monthly subscription, as a standard massage here will be a hefty price over time. 👍🏼

We had an awesome couples massage early Saturday morning, with Karel and Aned. Both therapists had great technique and were very good at what they do. And also front desk staff were very attentive and helpful. The experience set the stage for a great weekend!

Great attention but the facial was a bit too rough and it am not referring to the extractions. The creams application, clean up felt a bit rushed and not as subtle and relaxing as I would have expected it.

Ive been to several locations and this is the first time I have been asked for my Drivers License. I gave it to the receptionist thinking she is just going to use it to type my information. But she made a photo copy and put it in a file without informing me of such new process. I told her I do not consent to my personal information saved in a file that anyone in that office has access to. She stated since this is a medical office they need my information filed. Last time I checked this is not a doctors office. Well I asked for my photo copy back and my Drivers license. She stated since my Drivers License is not on file, I can cannot continue with the appointment. Im glad this happened before my appointment so I didnt have to spend $140 on this place.

Magda was very good and adjusted pressure as needed. My only negative experience was that we started later than my appointment time and as you know an hour massage is never an hour but factoring in starting later…makes the massage even shorter. Aside from this, she is good at what she does.In regards to the front desk staff, I was not even greeted. I had to excuse myself and ask to check myself in and was told to walk in and wait in the next room. (Disappointed with this)

My therapist Helanie is great! I’ve always enjoyed my experience but I think things have been changing in the company that are making me reconsider my membership. I don’t appreciate the mission you have to go through when checking in. You need a mask, You need to check your temperature and also now you need to show your ID. Not to be mention the increase in membership. I just think it’s a bit too much. I’m not a happy member at this point.

It was my first time and I had a wonderful experience , all the staff was super nice and the therapist Helaine was amazing . I went because I had a very bad neck pain , and the relief after the massage was incredible . Highly recommended place and highly recommended therapist Helaine.

This place is unprofessional and pushed and pushed for you to sign up as a member… she was very disappointed when I turned down their offer.The message therapist was unprofessional, didn’t care if he was over working the area even when I mentioned that it was hurting. His response was “sure”, what kind of therapist answers like this.Personally, it was just like a fast food place, NEVER again!!! Run for the hills!

I truly enjoy my therapist Joslayne at the Kendall location. I instantly feel better after my section. The only issues I’ve encountered is that if you purchase a product that could be helpful for your massage, you can’t use it. Don’t understand why if the product is being purchased there and not outside premises.

I’ve been a member for more than 4 years, and I can say that I almost cancelled until I found Helaine! She is so knowledgeable and gets my preferred pressure just right every time. When I go with a specific ailment she always knows the trick to make me feel better. Now my husband and aunt use her too she’s part of the family.

Heidi is a great massage therapist. I’ve had a few different ones in the time I have been going there and she is by far the best. Gives the message with the right pressure one asks for, finds those knots and dissolves them!

The session was good but not worthed the extra $20 I paid for the feet treatment. I got it very fast at the end of the session and made no difference as I f I werent paid for it 👎

Horrible location. Save your money. Even during a pandemic when people dont feel comfortable using their services in a small, enclosed space with no outside ventilation, they care only about their contract - even if you are unable to use the massages for specific reasons. Yes, I signed a 12-month contract but I did that prior to a pandemic I didnt know was coming. There was no pandemic clause in their contract. Now Im supposed to continue to pay for 5 more months after paying the other 7 months for massages I didnt/wont use. But according to the store, theyre being accommodating. Hmmm, a year of massages I didnt use because it didnt feel safe and still doesnt feel safe. Wow, thanks for being so accommodating. And dont try to call corporate headquarters. The Kendall location is a franchise and all they care about is a signature on a piece of paper.

Had been a member for years and had a great experience at this location. Facility is always clean and comfortable. Members lounge has tea and water so arriving early is always a plus. Had great therapists and although I liked some more than others, the front staff is always willing to help accommodate your needs. Love the Cyme products and the sea salt bathing products. Staff will regularly try and promote them which can get pretty tiresome. However, I personally believe the items sell themselves. Recently relocated overseas, but I would definitely recommend their services to anyone in the area. Miss this place!

Terrible service, terrible staff, worst Massage Envy franchise ever! Dania Batista is the worst wellness coordinator I have ever met. I canceled my contract 22 days ago, and they still did not process it. As a result, they still charge me for a service I canceled almost a month ago. This business is very unethical! They will lock you in a contract and dont let you cancel it ever—a total lack of professionalism. Be aware!

I’m so disappointed in this location. This is where I signed up for the membership and I never attend this specific location because there is no quality in the services provided. The estheticians lack skills in giving good facials the ones that I’ve seen have poor communication. All they focus on, is selling products to you. Leilani is the front desk associate, she is very rude. I’ve asked to speak with the manger multiple times and instead she kept putting me on hold. Most importantly the manager Jennifer is no example for her staff. She argued with me over the issue at hand.Now I will be canceling my membership at this location to take it to another.

This place honestly deserves 0 stars but I had to put something to write this review. I would definitely not recommend this place. I went in for a couples massage. For me I asked for her to work on my lower back and she spent almost the whole time working on my upper back and when I told her not the face, she did not respect me and touched my face. As for my husband, the place caused him more pain and no relaxation nor stress relief. After leaving he had more stress and tension in his body. The lady was elbowing his bones and making his muscles click. I am extremely unhappy with my visit.

Due to the language barrier, she didn’t understand what I was trying to tell her of certain areas needing more or less pressure and then she didn’t do my legs at all because she misunderstood that but what she did do was good

Ive been a member of massage envy for years I just happened to sign up at this location. Moved twice, had a baby and then my regular masseuse had a baby. I ended up accruing 12 credits and I wanted to cancel my account so that Id stop getting charged...12 credits=$600 in massage credit that I hadnt used. I sent them an email requesting to cancel. They tried to sell me a freeze plus option where Id continue to get charged so that I could use my already PAID $600 in credits. They told me if I want to cancel Id have to come in to the location which is now over an hour away from me and told me Id have 30 days to get my 12 massages before they expire.... despite being in a state of EMERGENCY during a pandemic where were required to stay home and social distance... I spoke to the manager and she was extremely rude, talked over me repeatedly and told me there was no exceptions. This is just wrong. Im a nurse who is required to work and expose myself and my family to Covid19 but they want me to expose their staff so that I dont throw away $600. I also was charged another monthly fee despite me contacting them to cancel before my payment was authorized for the month. I am so angry and I will never recommend massage envy to anyone. Especially this location.

The customer service at this location really sucks. The staff at the front reallybdoes theyre best to accomodate you, however they arent properly supported by management. On the contrary management bad mouths their own staff to customers. They over book you and cancel your appointment same day a few minutes before you arrive. They lie and lie and lie. They over charge you and cant refund you immediately (takes 10-14 business days). Its a shame as the actual therapists (Aline, Alina & Jolin) are very professional and work great. Maria at the front desk is also very courteous and professional. Management is never available.

Well, Ive had a few great experiences here, and I had one bad one they made right. So, I will give a fair mark.The bad experience came at another location (due to my limited availability) on the east side of the interstate in Kendall (not this one). At best, the ladys deep tissue massage was an application of oils. I awaited the massage and it never came. She tickled the surface, shook the limbs and rubbed in the oil with the same pressure youd use to place a stamp on an envelope. Ended up being my first time ever complaining about a massage, and my untrained children have done a much better job.I feel awkward complaining, so I paid the bill, left a $15 tip anyhow just because you should always tip--period. I did let them know I wasnt impressed with her and may even reconsider my membership over it.Then, I decided to go back to this location where I never had an issue--this one, West of the interstate.I let them know what happened, as theyre the ones who signed me up in the first place and I never had an issue there prior. They not only apologized, they made it right by adding the equivalent of a free hour onto the next visit.Then, the lady at the desk went over a list of people capable of delivering a true deep tissue massage. This time, we booked an appointment with one of her personal recommendations who is only there on a certain day each week.Well, this lady was strong and she delivered a true, deep tissue massage with proper technique. What a relief! My back and neck hasnt felt this great in some time, and she really worked the stiffness out of my neck.I highly recommend that you go in knowing what you want, specifically, and asking not only for that in advance but also for scheduling yourself with someone both recommended and capable of delivering what you want. Dont leave it to chance and hope you get a good one. Youre paying top dollar, so ask for the best and theyll give it to you.I will continue to go back now that I found the right one who is capable. The front desk staff is always friendly and welcoming and try their best accommodate my future appointments. They have also been very friendly and helpful when Ive had to reschedule my appointments. I have been a member since 2013 I believe. And I have never had an issue with my appointments. Jennifer (the manager in this location) is probably one of the most unprofessional people I have ever come across. A relative of mine is a former employee there and had booked an appointment for me recently. I have always received a courtesy call reminding me of my appointments. This last time I was curious why they hadnt called, so I decided to call. Jennifer the manager answered my phone call and informed me that they had no records of me having an appointment that day. Which is a complete lie because I know for a fact I did especially being that I personally know the employee that booked it for me. We will never TRULY know the reasoning behind my appointment suddenly being cancelled but I have an idea of why it was and do not want to go into details about it.... I would just like to inform whoever it is that reads these reviews, that she is a very unprofessional young woman and truly should not be the manager of this location or any others!!!!

Definitely the worst massage Ive ever received. Im not upset with the therapist, I believe she was probably trying. The issue is likely proper training rather than effort. At best the massage can be described as a 60 minute application of massage cream with little to no technique or plan. Like I said, this is a training issue.The bigger problem was managements response when I let the staff know that I was unhappy with my massage. Their response was the I should pay for today.... And if I wanted to I could come back and again pay the same price for another massage. Why on earth would I want to pay twice for the possibility of one good massage in the future?I would find another massage studio if I was you.

Massage Envy West Kendall is the absolute worst company ever with such atrocious customer service you cant imagine. DO NOT LET THEM TRAP YOU. ITS ALL A SCAM. They charge you religiously and then steal your massages to the tune of almost $1,000 in my case. I wanted to speak to a manager and of course non was available. I asked for a manager to call me within 24 hours and I was told that they couldnt guarantee a call back because the manager handles five stores. So I the customer cant speak to a manager because shes too busy, but they sure have someone to charge my card every month. At the end of the day most massages are sub par. I moved in June 2017 and keep asking to change my home base and they refuse. This is one of the most horrible entities Ive dealt with and when I asked the girl at the front to send me a copy of my contract, she hung up on me. RUN RUN RUN!!!!

This is place is horrible . I had cancelled my membership last week and I had 6 sessions to use within 60 days . I decided to scheduled for a facial . The day of my appointment I woke up sick , with a sore throat . I called the center letting them know that i might have covid , to reschedule and they want to charge half the price of the service . These people dont care if u go there sick and expose other clients and employees . Also they have in their pocket $300 for the 6 sessions i didnt use and realistically i would not be able to use cuz of the time frame , and they still want to charge me for calling the same day of the appointment with possible covid .

We were a customer of Massage Envy for almost 10 years During the pandemic we asked to place our account dormant until April 30 because my wife and I are older and are afraid to get sick from Covid. During May I texted them asking to extend the dormant status. Instead of telling me I needed to fill another form they never answered my texts and kept charging my credit card. This went on for 4 months until I saw the credit card charges and had to send them a letter canceling the account and called my card to stop their automatic charges. Even after several calls and emails back and forth they did not want to give us partial refund out of the $400 they charged during that time. Do not give your credit card for automatic payments... they are not professionals, they do not care if you are having hardship issues because of Covid. They only care about money and could care less for people during difficult times. They are the worst customer service I seen in my life. Even their main office did not respond to my issue when I contacted them.. Jennifer: I would like to see your reaction if something like this happened to your parents. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Liars!!! I had 3 sessions paid from about 3 years ago that I could not use because they had expired even though they took my money. I came for a mother daughter massage and Maria told me if I signed up that I can use those 3 sessions since I had already paid also for signing up in February I would get a free sessions so thats 4 extra. I get here today and Maria is here so I remind her as I did with Jackie over the phone when I booked my appointment. Maria starts by telling me that they changed their system and she doesnt see my 3 sessions so I told her ok if your internal system has a problem that is not my fault. Then I tell her ok so I dont loose my time Ill use the free one while you solve the issue. She said I could not. So I was very upset because I feel as I told her that massage envy and her (Maria) that she lied to me to convince me to sign a contract which involves money. That is called fraud and misleading customers. Marias attitude was horrivho and as I told her how sad she is misleading customers to get people to sign up. She kept on telling me that the system changed and I told her massage envy internal problems should not be a customers problems. I deal with customers everyday and it is sad that she lied to get me to sign and is trying to say its not her fault however it is when they made the mistake and no one had the decency to let me know prior to me leaving work early and driving there to be told I have to wait because their system. Then she starts telling me with an attitude to go get the massage or she will shorten the time and I told her she can not shorten a time that is because their mistake. She proceeded to roll her eyes and walk away with an attitude. I told her she should not do that to a customer especially since it was her mistake. I told her I wanted everything in writtiw when I came out. When I was done she did not come out sent someone else to tell me a manager would call me the next day . When I asked for what I requested in writing they told me they would call me and Im still waiting for that call. Very disrespectful and massage envy lies to get customers to sign up.

Since google does not allow me to rate this business with 0 stars, I am rating it with a misleading single one star. I am a member of Massage Envy since October of 2018. I get massages regularly and have had many different therapists, of both genders. However, when I went to this Massage Envy on April 7th I had the absolute worse experience of my life.Aside from the inconvenience of beginning my appointment 45 minutes later than my sister and I had been scheduled to begin, the therapist, Ariana, was extremely unprofessional. She only petted me over the sheets for almost the full entirety of the massage. When I kindly requested for firmer pressure, she advised that she begins light to warm up my muscles, but never increased her pressure. When I asked her various times thereafter to please increase the pressure she chastised me and explained that my back was actually fine as she shook my body to demonstrate how loose my back was. The whole hour she was sitting on the bed and had me shoved to the side, I thought it was so that she could better leverage herself in order to apply deeper pressure, instead it became very clear that she was doing this for her own comfort. I had paid for an add on of a icy-hot gel of which she never applied. I realized that I was losing my session and had already felt so uncomfortable that I was just dying to leave, but the nightmare was not over.Ariana waited until the end of my massage to try to argue with me about how what I may define as firm is different to others, at which point I tried telling her I refused to argue with her, but she continued. Mind you I WAS NUDE UNDER THE SHEETS, WITH THIS THERAPIST, ARIANA, BLOCKING THE EXIT DOOR, WHILE CONTINUING TO TRY TO ARGUE WITH ME . Finally I got up, while still NAKED, crying, and covering myself with the sheets in an attempt to get dressed to leave at which point she finally left the room and I was able to change.THE NIGHTMARE WAS STILL NOT OVER, I spoke to the shift manager, Daniella, who told me my session would be comped, only to then fraudulently charge my account on the 16TH of April (mind you I had gone in on the 7th) as if I would not notice. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! DO NOT GET MASSAGES HERE! THEY ARE EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, AND UNHELPFUL.

This location has some serious communication/professionalism issues. Ive been here a hand full of times due to the conveniece and closeness to my home and theres ALWAYS an issue. From massages starting late, to random time changes/therapist change, to filling out their online survey my very first time there and stating that I felt like I got injured because of an experience that seemed to come from a therapist that wasnt properly trained; I did not even getting a call back to address the issue or even apoligize. My most recent issue was having to pay extra for my current session because of misinformation I was given the last time I was here. I have had an issue EVERY SINGLE TIME. They have a great social media platform, good products for sale, are generally nice, and have a really great therapist (Rosie) but otherwise, I continue to have a bad impression with what goes on back stage.

This place is all about sales and upcharging. They offer aromatherapy and foot scrubs sounds wonderful mind you they dont tell you its each service an additional $10 per service then they promise you an hour massage mind you they take 10 minutes to allow you dress and undress for the service during the hour of your massage. This is literally a business and not a pleasant place for a massage at all your better off paying 60 bucks with a masseur privately and I am almost sure will treat you exactly as a stressed person and needs to have a nice detention massage rather than another number another sale

Unfortunately the service has not improved. You have massage therapist there who do not know the difference from a Swedish massage or lymphatic treatment, and forget about deep tissue. Youre better off going to the Fountaine Bleu in Miami Beach. Yes, youll pay more but youll get a real spa treatment.

I went there months ago as recommended by a friend for deep tissue. The lady who attended me asked what my issues where as it was listed on the paper I filled out prior to the session. I told her of the causes in migraines were the tension blocks(knots) at the base the of skull and neck. I pointed out where else I had inflammation and was brushed off with i have been doing this for almost 30 years. I have touched many bodies and Im telling you that you are fine. There is nothing there. Her deep tissue felt like a Swedish no matter what I said to add pressure, she kept it the same. Ana... anyway, I talked to the girl at the desk (who was very nice). She said that lady was one of the best there with no complaints. I told her I had experience in massage therapy and that this wasnt what I paid for. She offered for an appointment with a male therapist who only shows up some Saturdays and is usually booked. No thanks. Who has time for that? ASIAMI MASSAGE is where its at. ACTUAL THERAPY for those who need it. Deep tissue and migraines ceased.

Today I went to visit for the first time to Kendall location which my ache and stress is being handled with care over to Mrs. Alina, who assisted with all my specifics. Front desk were very useful and friendly. A room for improvement only to place bigger cups for hot tea would be really nice for members lounge (tea selection is also tasteful).

Im reporting this to consumer protection advocacy as they call you to confirm appointment, however they dont mention a price change when contacted. Person I scheduled for was already inside so no change of rescheduling not to mention the embarrassment factor. No wonder they were empty. Waisted my time by driving 1/2 an hour for nothing.On the day I finally got appointed for 10:00am unfortunately the therapist was running behind... Receptionist basically tells me to take a hike around the plaza and come back in later; when I came back they tell me Im late for my appointment ?! These people have all my info: phone#, email etc... they could had gave a courtesy call but no. Then they try offering me a half way service without discount smh... Lol wow. Who is managing this place?

It is so unfortunate that such a large and reputable franchise as Massage Envy has such unprofessional and unethical Management and Staff operating its facility at this location. After being a loyal member since 2008 nearly ten years I am astonished as to the poor treatment received by its Front Desk Staff Member and the lack of Sympathy, Cooperation, and Understanding after being penalized for not showing up to an appointment that was booked two months ago in the month of August right before suffering in the month of September a spinal chord injury, which resulted in a L1 Fracture, which documentation can be presented to corroborate with such event. Consequently, due to such injury I am required to wear a back brace for three months and thefore cannot receive massages until cleared by my neurosurgeon. I was treated poorly by Amanda the Front Desk Receptionist who said called to confirm my appointment, but was not able to leave a voice message, which is not the case as my voicemail is set up and I have had the same mobile number for the last 10 years as well, which they again, can verify as I have been a member with them since 2008, with the same mobile number. Amanda’s harshness and lack of willingness to cooperste is shocking given the unfortunate circumstance in, which I find myself in. She offered no alternative nor resolution to resolve matter and instead was confronted with sarcasm and attitude. Therefore, opt out from becoming a member or chose to go to another location as God forbid something happens to you, you will be getting billed as you’re on your way to the emergency room!

Jolin was great. Professional and pleasant! I really enjoyed the vibe at this ME location. Just well-managed, attentive, very short waits, and very friendly.

Had to switch rooms halfway through my massage session because of a recurring noise coming from the A/C vent. The bed in the room I was switched to was freezing. One of the worst massage experiences I’ve had.
