Everytime I go- I visit my favorite bartender Brianna on the patio! She is always so happy and smiley, and very attentive to all of the patrons at the bar!!! Always good music and good vibes with an amazing bartender ❤️

First off I think its not ok for the bartender to just pour you a double shot without asking so that totalled 25.00$ for one drink!! Not ok so mind you after 12 price went up to 20 dollars not cool if it was 10 dollars just at 11. bathrooms were dirty as hell!! Water was all on the floor just nasty! Its a nice club but no one is interested in nothing but giving out drinks and hooka needs to be more mindful of the clubs needs all around not just some areas. Please rethink your clubs morales.

This place could be so much more if they did not have such a horrible crop of security guards. These idiots look for trouble at all cost. I predict that they are going to run across the wrong person and it will go horribly wrong. It is evident that the owner or owners are going to wait until it is too late!

I just started coming to Roomseven a few months ago as I have followed my favorite bartender Bryanna from her previous job. Bryanna’s service is always A1, the atmosphere is clean, and the drinks in my opinion are made to price. My friends and I have never had a failed night coming to see her! There’s a lovely Patio Area with its seperate DJ, and an outside bar. Highly recommend for a drama free night out!

I understand that price changes the later the night, but $40 a head! Earlier it was $10. I arrived late after 12 am, in my opinion price should go down due to no time to get the full experience. Go somewhere that wants to stay packed, not a place that will raise the price just to have you turn around. Sad I was excited to see what the hype was about.

Last evening, two friends and I visited Room 7, a place we had previously enjoyed. However, our experience last night was highly distressing. While in the bathroom, one of the bottle girls, Abby, entered to investigate reports of underage individuals with drinks. This club is 18+ and marks anyone under 21 with an “X” to indicate they cannot order drinks from the bar. Upon entering, Abby immediately confronted my friend with a hostile attitude. We later learned from a friend employed at the club that Abby had falsely accused us of purchasing drinks for the underage individuals.This is not the first instance where Abby has fabricated stories in an attempt to have us removed from the club, for reasons unknown to us. Based on Abbys false report, security aggressively removed us from the premises. The guard who grabbed me did so from behind, placing me in a chokehold. As I instinctively tried to free myself, he pulled my hair forcefully. One of my friends sustained bruises on two areas of her arm. We were not given an opportunity to leave voluntarily and were instead subjected to excessive force.Such aggressive behavior by the security personnel is unacceptable, particularly as we were no where near aggressive. I am appalled that such behavior is deemed acceptable. While I support businesses standing by their employees, this incident involved singling us out based on false accusations. I share this experience to highlight the unacceptable conduct that was condoned on this occasion. I’ve attatched photos photos of her bruises and the guard who did this.

Alwaya a good time. They have indoor and out dj. Outdoors is a fire pit to keep warm. 🔥 We come for the hookahs bartenders always pretty and nice ladies. Same security guys always sweet as well. They had a no security girl shes also very nice.

Good atmosphere!Nice place. Clean and classy. I dont make it to downtown Milwaukee often but will definitely be back here again. Came on a Tuesday night and the DJ was awesome!

I went to Room 7 for the first time yesterday. I was there for a private event. The event was well organized, but the service by the venue was terrible. When I arrived, I noticed a lot of people sitting outside on the patio in 90 degree weather. Well, it turns out that it was hotter in the building than outside. People were using the flimsy menu printouts to fan themselves. My next concern was that the establishment didnt have updated menus. The cost of the item on the menu said 30, but the bartender told me it was 37. I pointed out the discrepancy, and she gave a light scowl with a shoulder shrug. She seemed to not want to be there. Aside from her, all other staff were great.

Horrible. the head of security thinks he owns the place, rude and disrespectful to paying customers. He’s just bald headed lame with no control problems

Maybe it was just the bartender (Kevin im pretty sure thats what his name was), he was absolutely incredible, got us our drinks immediately upon walking up to the bar, and with a busy bar I was NOT expecting that AND he remembered what we had right off the bat. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 great job Kevin.In addition, this bar is fun! Great place to dance. They had two DJs, one inside and one by their outside bar. Classy and modern ascetic with VIP.

First Time going Saturday and won’t be back. They attempted to charge me and my friend $20 while letting others in for free. I guess you have flirt and get touchy with the creepy bouncer like the other women were doing, either way the whole experience was a turn off. Try Allure across the street, vibes were nice and it was free for Everyone! I think it’s unprofessional and disrespectful to charge some patrons and not others. They won’t see a dime from me

They steal your money don’t ever leave a tab open with these mfs tbh I wouldn’t even go there! They took my $600 and can’t even refund or cancel the transaction!

This is a true gem 💎 in the downtown area. It doesnt even feel like youre in Milwaukee. The atmosphere is so dope customer service is great I also love the patio area. I will definitely go back and plan some parties there.

First time going to Room Seven, pretty decent. Good music. Outdoor space very nice. Drink prices very reasonable for downtown. Nice mixed crowd, not too young. Will most likely go back. Only downside is if you dont like the smell of hookahs you wont like it there. Hookahs SUPER strong!!! I recommend staying in the outside space if youre like me and dont like the smell of hookahs. Otherwise, extremely nice first time experience. Good job, Room Seven!!

Came here to celebrate a friends birthday, we did the VIP route and got bottle service. The club is a decent size and the raised area for VIP with couches is super comfortable. They have plenty of bouncers around to keep an eye on people and coats/purses left in VIP. All of the service people were quick and kind. Bathroom was clean and had more then 2 stalls

My purse was given to the security there. And when I asked if I could get my purse they said they gave my purse to someone else. So the security gave my purse which had my keys to a random person. They weren’t any help with getting it back either. They just basically told me off. I would’ve thought they would’ve asked for identity before giving a purse someone lost in their place.

The vibe here is dope! Best club Ive been too in Wisconsin. Music is fantastic, never heard a song more than once. Drama free environment and the ambiance is good here. Great place to party with friends or to meet hot dudes and females. Drinks are a bit pricey but worth every dime. Bartenders are sexy as well. Will definitely go again. Everybody was cool.

This place is anti LGBTQ+. If you like to be discriminated against just because of your sexuality this here is the place for you. The guy at the door couldn’t even give me a good lie to why I couldn’t come in. But it was clear I wasn’t welcome.

VERY cool place! Went on a Friday night and it was fairly busy but we were able to order drinks and hookah with quick service. They have great music and a great outdoor area with a fire feature. We had such a great time and when a very drunk guy would not leave us alone they had no problem escorting him out.

The disrespect of sending in a request to the DJ out on the patio with ample amount of compensation and him playing only 20sec of a song, that was bumping is preposterous. Never attending again.

Bought some bottles for the table I was with for 300. Thought I was leaving a generous 30% tip. Later I found out it was around 130%. I was charged around over 100% what I ordered and was told that was an additional tip! Beware going to this establishment and make sure to check your bill. I will never go to this place again. I wasnt even treated like this with bottle service in vegas!!!

My boyfriend and I have been here a couple times now and had fun. We have never been there on a Friday or Saturday night so I dont know what its like on busy nights. The nights we have been there the atmosphere has been very pleasant upbeat and friendly. We definitely plan on going back soon.

Omg Ty(bartender) is so great. Best service I’ve received in a long time. She was attentive. She was nice. She was friendly. Me and my fiancé sat in here 3 hrs and I must say i hope she’s here the next time we visit. The music was great, the drinks was good, very nice vibe. This is a really nice spot!!!!

Dope layout. Bartender coulda been nicer, especially after I tipped her nicely but nope she just blank stared and never said thank you but overall I had fun, the Dj was dope AF and vibe was cool, door man was not very welcoming at all but overall the drinks were good and the club vibe made up for the very bland staff

It was a crazy fun night with friends. I stuck to my usual Jack and coke. I liked the music although I would recommend they play around with alternative tunes, a touch of Nigerian or South African would be awesome. From the bouncers to the bar attendants, it was a friendly atmosphere all round.

Saturday was my bachelor party and we stopped at Plum Lounge and I had 15 guys with me. Four of us walked in with no issues, but when the rest of the guys came they told them they made a mistake letting us 4 in cause they were having a private party and it’s guest list it only. That was a lie, the guy didn’t have a clip board or anything. Then when I questioned him, he wouldn’t even look me in the eye. He just kept saying he made a mistake. I’ll never go back to this place because they don’t deserve my business. We would have easily spent $300 or more and mind you this was after 1am also. Majority of my group were professional well dressed black men, and I have a hard time believing this wouldve have happened to an all white party.***Update*** Since Im unable to reply to you response Ill just add to my original factual review.***Most of your response is not what transpired and it sounds like your door staff made some things up to make them look better in this situation. Thats fine you have your version and I have mine. Calling my review bogus is a great way to take the high road and I see as a business owner you dont know how to handle a crisis let alone address issues. None of my guys were trying to fight and no one ever said we were turned away 3 times. This is the only place we had an issue with all night. Lastly, you need to address and retrain your door staff because it sounds like they make stuff up as the night goes. Have a good day!

Very pretty lounge. Love the outdoor patio with the fireplace. Also love the music choice! Only bad thing was the dirty bathrooms!! There was a lack of cleanliness. Also, one stall was missing a door. Had to wait in line multiple times to use the bathroom.

I really enjoy Plum and have been there on a number of occasions. Its got an upscale vibe and decor- I go there a lot for a more low key night or to start out for the night. The drinks are priced on par with similar establishments in Milwaukee, and the hookah is very reasonable compared to other places, since you get full food and bar service as well as a DJ playing music. Music is a little bit louder than Id like for a place to talk and smoke hookah, but its quieter than a typical night club. They have a nice outdoor patio area as well although I typically stay inside.Ive will definitely return in the future and would recommend it to others.

Ive come here twice & had 2 totally different experiences. The first time was for a party where there was bottle service, hookah, etc. Service was great. Servers were friendly. Music was great. 2nd time here was just as a regular customer & i understand why ppl dont like it here. Their door ppl are definitely very rude & their bar service is horrible. So if youre willing to pay or want to host an event then Id recommend it but there so many better options if youre just looking to have a drink.

Great Time, Great Atmosphere, Good Drinks , Good variety of club music DJ knows how to keep people in the Vibe ,Bar-maids who dont make you wait on them they do a good job keeping the drinks flowing. Happy Hookahing , cheers!

This place is great! I lost my keys and someone was kind enough to turn them into the staff there and the staff kindly gave them back to me. Also this place fosters a diverse, unique environment with a fun and dynamic setting including an indoor and outdoor setting.

I was here last night and its honestly one of the best club/bars Ive been to in Milwaukee! Great music, great scenery and decor! It has a very classy feel to it and everyones dancing and having a good time. Only downside is drinks are expensive and they are watered down.

Went to Plum w/ my friend who goes there pretty often and due to me wearing ALL black Jordans I was not allowed in, even after my guy had already purchased me a drink & asked the owner politely to let me in and finish just one drink. We were informed we had to finish our drinks outside, super cold night as well... (Keep in mind; the place wasnt busy at all; Friday night @ 10:30PM) While standing outside, another guy who was wearing ALL white Jordans came to the door and somehow he was allowed in... Lol. Luckily for them, I let it slide... however, bad way to conduct business especially if someone was to take it very personally. Word of advice to ownership; Same rules should apply to everyone. Especially when my friends have provided you guys with plenty of business.Also to add; Ive been in Plum numerous of times with the same Jordans on and never had a problem. Not sure why they picked this specific night to make me stand outside and finish my drink. I guess some owners dont care about customer service... Definitely shows at this place.

This place is ok. Crowd seems a little preppy which is cool if youre into that. I like that they have video games but if youre into that you should go to UpDown. They have hit or miss DJs, good lighting, cool patio fire. Overpriced hookahs, small but hip dance floor. Inattentive staff mostly, but Chris is cool. The bouncers are nicer now than a while back, they dont seem to enforce shoe policy which used to be a big deal. If you really like dancing go to Bad Genie but they are only open certain days. Cheers.

Plum lounge has a nice atmosphere, but I have never been treated so poorly. They really need to learn what customer service means or they are going to end up closing their doors. We had a party of 7, we bought drinks and went to their (small and not impressive) dance floor that was not crowded. After being there for at least 10 minutes their “security” guy told us we actually needed a reservation to be on their dance floor. Ok this is a new one for me. This is a lame bar trying to be a swanky NYC club and FAILING I asked how to reserve my spot on the dance floor and was told I could online. There is no place online to reserve a spot on their lame dance floor so this was obviously a lie. I don’t know why they wouldn’t want our business but their poor treatment of costumers guarantees we will never be customers there again! We left our drinks and walked out to the next bar where we were treated much better. And reading their response to other poor reviews shows me exactly what kind of poor management is driving this place into the ground.**REPLY to your extremely unprofessional response: please enlighten me on how attempting to demean costumers who provide negative feedback is a solid business strategy? FYI I was not drinking that night so I have a very accurate account on how things happened. 1. your bouncer told us it was a dance floor and we could reserve a spot, so may I recommend increasing employee training if it is in fact not a dance floor. 2. My husband was not denied alcohol at the bar, Im the one who bought the drinks and I asked for a water for him. 3. He never swung at your bouncer your bouncer inappropriately put him in a head lock where I intervened and told your bouncer I would not tolerate this, where I proceeded to instruct everyone to set their glasses down and leave. 4. Not to get nit picky back at you but it was a Christmas suit, not a onesie.My husband and I both hold doctorate degrees and own a very successful multi million dollar business, let me know if you need some advice on how to run yours including not inappropriately demeaning customers who give you feed back. Its summer and you have a fire on the patio? It was already a hot sticky night and we picked the furthest outdoor table from the fire and it was still so hot. Why on Earth? And who are those people voluntarily sitting right next to the fire? Enough about the fire. The drinks were fine (they didnt have menus so we ordered generic drinks), albeit served by a condescending 20-something who kept calling my early-40s boyfriend boss. Overall, the place was lackluster at best.

One of the good DJ I have noticed here. May be best in the city.I like fire area where people enjoy there drink and eat together in winter.Bar tenders are gorgeous by look and awesome by their service.I like to go there on weekend.

The tacos at taco bar are delicious and come out very quick! I had Ola as my bartender and she was the sweetest person! She was sure to get the food, drink, and napkins to me quickly! We will be returning again soon!

Im a real person, but my initial review was an accidental pocket post on my smartphone. Im a regular at Plum Lounge. Good drinks, nice club ambience, and decent EDM and/or Hip Hop music from the DJ. The fire table outside in the patio area is a nice touch, especially during the colder months. The bartenders are friendly and professional. Only complaints are the drinks can be pricey, and the lounge is somewhat on the small side. I also miss that House Music isnt played as much by the DJs compared to the hip hop music. If you are looking for a good club experience for the night, Plum lounge is the place to be.

11 PM on a Friday not busy, service is quick no one drunk yet hookah far to expensive $35 for 1 bowl no refills with a quick coal not properly lit!! Do not get the citrus dew it is to light of a flavor you can taste the coal. most people are business dressed. Went out with some friends for a casual night out. On first appearances, the place looks great, they even have an outdoor bar area. However, they had police in reflective yellow uniform inside the establishment, which isnt an issue but it made me question the kind of patrons that would come into the lounge that warrants the presence of police.We get inside, and Im immediately engulfed with the strong stench of flavored Shisha and charcoal. Figured Ill just suck it up because there is no way Im going out in the cold looking for a different bar.A friend of mine and his girlfriend wanted to meet up with us. When they got there , they were denied by the bouncer because the club is booked and only people on the list are allowed. This is absurd since I got in just 15 mins prior to them showing up. The place wasnt even close to full capacity. So we all ended up leaving to go to another place (Whisky Bar). Before leaving, I had a word with the bouncer and asked him the purpose of his douchebaggery, all he said was, they arent getting in this place. Talk about a power complex. I guess this is what some bouncers have to do to entertain themselves in an otherwise uneventful life.

Nice place to dance with consistently great music! Yummy mojitos with fresh mint. Excellent hookah. Plus, conveniently located for a fun night out downtown. Highly recommend.

Terrible club, bouncer is extremely rude and racist. Owner is also a racist. They were only willing to work with us as long as we bought a table. Our money is the same color, holds the same value and spends the same way. I was lead to believe that this establishment was classy, but in reality its classless and a disgrace. “Hating people because of their color is wrong. And it doesnt matter which color does the hating. Its just plain wrong.” I would say its pathetic to see this happening in 2016, but in reality its just history repeating itself!

I’ve attempted to enjoy this place 3 times, three strikes and you’re out. Then I hear some of my very good (male) friends also had a terrible time recently and were treated like garbage. Time for a review. DO BETTER WHEN YOU KNOW BETTER!

Bouncers can be on the mean side, a friend wasnt wearing the right type of shoes to get in the club. But he still let him because of the big group that we had. Only after he made a really rude comment. Drinks are over priced just like any other place downtown, and if you dont get a table, expect to be battling thru the crowd to get anywhere. Music is good the couple times i been there.

The security with the poor attitude. Misunderstood that my group was smoking weed and pushed us out. Unfair. Throwing racist remarks on us. Spoiled our haloween and also my friend party. Extremely disappointed. The one who were doing it still stayed inside. Almost everyone who witnessed this said that the security was unfair. But nevermind, this is the true America. Never united and never acceptable. Well we still stay humble and walk out with shame. UNFAIR.

There is no bar lounge like this in Milwaukee. Great atmosphere, fantastic specialty drinks, delicious food, and an awesome fire patio. If you havent been to Plum Lounge youre missing out!

Its a crapshoot if you make the cut to get in each night. Apparently they are really strict with their dress code that is non-existent on their website, and changes based on the night, bouncer, what you look like, etc. Drinks are overpriced and watered down once you do finally get past judgement day at the door. Id take a hard pass and move on to the next establishment.

I use to like plum because they had good music, but Ive been getting some racist vibes from the bouncer. It feels like they dont want African Americans in their club. What they dont realize is that the African Americans bring culture to their club. Its cool though. They gon learn.

Great ethnically diverse party atmosphere without any drama whatsoever.... For the laid back and the turnt up.... The balcony fire pit makes for a nice touch especially on a cold night with the best playlist you can make for a demographic as diverse as this.... Wanna have a great night out for a first date or just impress the lady this is the place

The worst experience ever....Never again. The bouncers literally pulled every excuse in the book not to let a lone guy in. I come there often *in a button up and dress shoes* and still got treated like scum. Im spreading the word about how not welcoming this location is

Every single time I try to get in here there is some reason I cannot. (after the first couple of times I was denied it was pretty much just a joke to see what they would come up with next). First there was a “list” which there is not and then there was a “private party” lol upon talking this over with some people that I know, they said they have been told the same thing every time they try to get in, too.the one thing we all have in common is we are all people of color. So let’s call a spade a spade here. It’s discrimination and you’re not letting me in because I’m black. If I could give them 0 stars I would but this review needs to be seen. Cheers :)

Its a nice place and great for spending time at weekend nights. But BE CAREFUL about your CREDIT CARD. Bartenders often overcharge you more than what you write down on the invoice for tip.

At plum tonight my boyfriend and I was denied entry all because he was wearing black timberlands in February!!!! Its cold outside he wasnt wearing tennis shoes but black timberlands is not apart of the dress code???? Im sorry but that is BS. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK HERE EVER.......

I like the environment and the music. But when I ordered a long island for ten dollars and not taste not one drop of liquor and I took 4 sips and it was gone. And they didnt want to take responsibility for taken my money for a water down drink or juice or tea that was. They drinks suck.

Always a great time with Donnie and JC, whipping up world class drinks and providing the best hospitality. One of the cleanest bars in MKE. Definitely worth checking out!!!

TALK ABOUT RACIST right ? Im white me and my two friends one Latino one white me and my Latino friend both wearing Jordans wouldnt less us in so we went to the bar down the street Latino friend left went back and got let in no problem. Disappointed.

The place looked empty. Waited at the bar inside for about 15 min without nobody attending our party of 7. Went outside had some hookah and some beers. Looked like it was most of the employees partying up. Seemed like a sketchy place.

Came to watch my friends DJ. Its a pretty cool venue! We mostly hung out outside, but the inside was nice! There was hookah and drinks!
