Great venue. Full size MMA cage, huge screen, lots of floor space, full service bar, meals and snacks. Large dance floor, pool tables, plenty of table and bar seating. Lots of unique and fun decor, western theme. Bathrooms need a lot of attention

The only downfall to this place is that the AC doesn’t work. I’ve been to 3 events here within the span of maybe 6 months. 1st event was earlier this year and it felt great. The last 2 events have been HOT. The ac appears to be broke ALL THE TIME. I get there when doors open at 8pm when there is barely anybody there and it’s still hot so you can’t tell me it’s hot because of the amount of people… PLEASE FIX THE AC. People are here to have a good time….it feels like you’re dancing in a sauna box. Other places with larger crowds feel a whole lot cooler than this place. It’s miserable.

Aug 16th was my very 1st time meeting up with some friends. The a/c was not working and they only had a few fans in the corner. Mind you they charged $35 per person & for the ac not to be working was very unacceptable.

Now you know its hot 🔥 when the band David Lee Garza is saying turn on the AC on stage! The place is too hot. Been there twice and both times too hot.

I went there for My Grandsons Pro Debut in Boxing and it was so much fun, especially because HE( JaycobRagingBullRamos) WON!!! I really enjoyed their Brisket Nachos and my Malibu and Pineapple drink made just right. The restrooms had no toilet paper and the worst thing of all, it was just TOO HOT, I was sweating so much all night long. The place was nice and Big, but the heat was my only complaint, really. Id go back for another Boxing event though.

Attended a family Quincenera there. My first time there. Very nice venue for a Quincenera and wedding. Barbeque was awesome! The dance floor is really big. The sound system and DJ was good. Very nicely western decorated and plenty of nice backdrops for photos. I need to go back whenever open to the public.

Ok, here is my novel. I’ve just never had an odd bar experience like this before. My overall experience at this place on a Saturday night was very underwhelming. When me and my two friends walked in, we were told by the front door guy that our first time coming there would “be worth it.” I don’t know if we caught them on a slow night, but it was definitely not “worth it.” The cover charge was $15. I hope the band received the proceeds because they were the only thing “worth it” that night. HUGE dance floor, yes. Beautiful interior with the saloon feel, yes. Can’t comment on the food, but apparently they have delicious BBQ in the back. Anyway, when me and my two friends walked up to the bar, we were griped at by who I’m assuming was the owner or manager for not getting “in line” behind the register. I didn’t realize bars had lines, but OK. Then, when we got in line, the manager very rudely told us and another couple that we needed to stand alongside the bar counter out of the way of the pathway for people to walk. Mind you, there was NOBODY walking through the walkway at this moment and not near enough people there for him to be commanding people around like that. 😂 There were only two bartenders this night, which honestly was more than enough for the handful of people inside the bar. I paid for six beers for me and my friends and was not even offered limes. Asked for them myself after I paid. Later in the night, my friend ordered 15 shots for our group of friends. My friend wanted to bring the shots to our table, but the manager told him that most people take the shots at the bar. What……? You want 15 people to take the shots at the bar? Why? So we can get yelled at for blocking the SUPER busy walkway again? Then, at the end of the night when me and my two friends left, the main entrance door (where we thought you were supposed to leave) was completely locked. We went around to a different exit door, and as we were climbing into our Uber, the manager and door guy came and followed us outside. It was all just a bizarre experience. Not sure what was with the paranoia on their end, but it completely ruined our experience.

Afterv3 total vistes & damn tables reserved tho No One but may be under 25 folks !! Sucks & got moved around cause supposed 20-30 people was coming n &;No One butb4 people on the table right as u walk in 2 ur left 😪 then again we was moved to take 17 & yet we observed all empty tables with not as we was 1st asked to move cause they was All reserved buy very RUDE short man yes RUDE then they charge parking $10 on certain area then $20. For valet plus No A/C except Fans FOLKS thats so ya can keep spending ur money not to mention the cvr charge !! Yes they SUCK no more for them !!watch ur wallets folks oh pd for 3 / three bands & only 2 showed up ! What that tell ya .

The parking is good, inside was warm but they have fans, for the longest time the dj played only sad country music it seemed . it’s a big place huge dance floor clean ladies room

Had a WONDERFUL evening of dinner and dancing with my beautiful wife @ Southern Junction Irving! EXCELLENT dance floor! OUTSTANDING dance band - the Keith Mitchell Band! DELICIOUS steak! The steak was actually bigger than shown - Id cut off a piece because my wife and I were sharing our entrees.

Great crowd. Excellent food. Like restaurant quality. Like seriously, the food is worth the trip itself. Ambience is a western saloon. Bring your cameras. And its not too dark or shadowy. All in all, if you are looking for a descent venue to mingle and not be hassled by a blithering idiot or a drunk bimbo

My second time here it was great very accommodating lots of room dance floor humongous and we went to see one band and ended up seeing two the price was right everything was excellent plenty of restrooms always a plus for me

Didnt know what I was walking into. Was very pleasantly surprised. A honky tonk that had a live band, 20 ft projection TV playing football, three pool tables, and a huge bar. I suppose the only real negative I could say is they dont have draft beer.

Its was spacious and the staff was friendly. . It was the Tejano legend Little Joe Birthday. They also had world know band Tejas Brothers open and it was a great show. They also had a band called Malo from California

Atmosphere, Owners and employees are so Anaximander attentive to guest. We were trying to find a place to let loose while in town from Ohio and the owners and employees made us feel so welcome. When in town I suggest that you find this place. I will definitely return when back in town.

Ya know, from the outside, Southern Junction doesn’t look like much; but when you enter the building, you’re blown away. It’s clean, and sounds great. Bar tenders are very friendly and everyone is welcoming. Southern Junction definitely promotes and exemplifies southern hospitality and we will definitely be coming back! Went to an event couple of months back at this place. Restrooms were very unhygienic and not clean. Also AC was not working. There were almost 1k people attending the event.

I love this place!! It was my birthday and they treated us like royalty even without reservations! The owners themselves took our pictures and bought us drinks. The atmosphere here is so friendly and lively, its definitely the place to be! They also sell snacks like nachos and popcorn (we bought both!) I love this place! Owners are so friendly and so are the people here, will definitely be back and yall should come too!!

Lines at the bar were long, and they needed more bartenders. DrinkPrices were reasonable

I had an amazing time at this establishment! Drinks were great and reasonably priced, staff was friendly and very professional! Great variety of music and an exciting fun atmosphere I definitely recommend and will return!

Kept accusing me of bringing in my own water when I literally bought all the water from them for $3 a bottle plus tip lol. They could have literally just confirmed with the bartender but I suppose that wouldnt be as fun. I would stick the water in my back pocket and tell them Im stepping out to change shirts cause I was sweating and they would constantly accuse me of bringing my own water from my car despite numerous times me explaining otherwise. At the end of the night I went to leave and they locked the doors on me and told me I couldnt leave till I handed them the water I had just bought. They eventually let me leave out a one way emergency exit. Weirdly aggressive and paranoid lol.

Got out and thought it would be nice to try a new local. Went there for a wedding party, they were half of the crowd. Line to get drinks was no less than a 15 minute wait Manager is a total jerk, has been since he was at Royse City. First and last time. Expect doors to be closed within the year.

Great atmosphere, big dance floor and very nice bartenders. We tried the brisket sandwich and the nachos; it was all really good . They also have pool tables. Cover was only $5 ! We will definitely be back

Definitely older crowd but a good alternative for a bit more wholesome atmosphere. Went with a church group instead of red river because we wanted something more chill to dance and it delivered. Food is good but the music did get more raunchy the later it got

First time here! Drinks are very good. Really liked the atmosphere.

Poor management, no clue how to run a bar/dance club. Went there for NYE party, pre-paid for tickets and reserved tables. Showed up, they couldnt find us on the table list. After 15 minutes, the head guy apparently said oh yeah I remember him and he forgot to put us on the list. Meanwhile, some big bald guy was an absolute jerk to our entire party. He actually shouted at us several times you gotta wait in line!, even after we explained that we ALREADY waited in line and other staff members were trying to get our tables ready, and we were standing exactly where the staff told us to stand. Absolutely rude and obnoxious for a first impression.The venue itself is very nice. Thats about it. The band they picked for the NYE party was playing sad memorial style country songs bringing the whole place down. Our table was in disbelief. No popular songs, just his own material. He was 18, very talented, but absolutely wrong for this party.They had three (3) bartenders for the entire party. The line to get a bottle of beer ($6 I think for Coors/Bud/etc) was over 20 minutes long all night. I saw person after person get out of line because they were tired of waiting (go look up lost revenue). The poor young guy that was tending bar on the far side didnt have a clue what he was doing, and was moving like molasses. Not his fault, it was a bad fit and his management was to blame.They promised appetizers were included. The lady literally counted out 1, 2, 3 little smokies and 3 little meatballs. Felt like I was at a kindergarten graduation party, not a NYE party that cost over $30 a person with fees to get into.We bailed before midnight and found a fun place elsewhere. Wasnt gonna wait around on whatever lame, stingy thing they had planned for midnight.Management - think this is harsh or inaccurate? Please go poll your guests. Bet you wont...

Its a nice saloon type style bar. But It was sweltering hot inside. They could not handle large crowd. With it being over 100 outside. The inside was far worse.

The music venue was fantastic! Seating is crowded, but people are friendly and respectful. Everyone can see the main attraction wherever they are seated, too! The food was great, although we got a rough start getting it. You can cook your own steak, so it was a treat to watch my son in action on the grill! The waitstaff is genuinely kind and caring, even when overwhelmed with a big star in the house and the crowd! I was discounted for the extremely long wait, and my experience overall was unique and fun. I really appreciate how well we were treated, and I will visit again! - UniquelyD

Great time. Love the live band and dance lessons

This is a pretty big place with a great size dance floor. They had a DJ the night we went. They are just starting back to having events since COVID restrictions have loosened. The DJ played all country music with a lot of progressive 2step beats. Some west coast as well. Most dancers followed dance etiquette. The bar staff was helpful and the drinks were fine. The decor is dated but adds to the classic ambiance. They did have a small selection of brisket tacos and brisket sandwich and it was not good. The bread was old and the tortillas were stale. Meat was okay. The other patrons were having a good time and enjoyable company to be around.

Um. Great place to dance. Especially Practice. Nice dance floor BUT. How do you mix up cards at the bar when the place is empty….20 people max. And they managed to mix up cards…maybe add some rules or security. Or perhaps check last names on cards instead of just first names: very disappointed for my first time.

First off, my husband and I have passed this place so many times. We didn’t even know what it is or if it was even open. We really thought it was an abandoned restaurant. So, Saturday night, I was googling somewhere to go in our area when Southern Junction popped up. I was surprised. So I called and got a recording. We decided to go ahead and go because there was going to be live music. The doorman and cashier were very nice and inviting. I loved the atmosphere and the dance floor was amazing. It has that whole country western feeling. It is really cool. I was expecting something great. The place is huge.There is a HUGE screen to watch the fights on. My husband went to the bar to get drinks. He was not happy that his beer was in a can and not a bottle or glass. All of the good tables were reserved but nobody was there even after the band started.When the band started it didn’t sound like they even sound checked. The first song they played, I couldn’t even tell you what the melody was. It sounded all over the place. The singer wasn’t loud enough the drums were louder than the other instruments,the speakers had a little bit of reverb and rattled. I think they only sing original music and not anything you would hear on the radio. That was disappointing. There may have been 50 people in the place. So after the second song, and mind you, if my husband says “are you ready to go “, he is NOT having a good time. We walked out.If I could rate just the amazing inside of the hall, I would give a 5 star. We might go back to watch the Super Bowl game (if they are open) or other events on the screen . It saddens me to think this awesome atmosphere is not being utilized to its full potential. Get some great local Texas bands in there.

Band was great. Steak was good. Me and the wife went and I was able to cook the steak how I wanted. Wifes burger never came out for an hour. They did take it off the check however. Drinks are a bit pricey for the location and service. Its a new place but looks to be promising. Will be back and hopefully they improve each time

During a trip from out of town to the DFW area, I had an opportunity to attend the Southern Junction Boots and Bling New Years Eve event. This was my first time visiting Southern Junction and I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the facility, music, dance floor, and the professional attentiveness and friendliness of the owners and staff. My whole experience, from making reservations with Marie for the event, to my departure was first class. Thank you Southern Junction for helping to make my New Years Eve so fun!

My wife and I went tonight to try this place out. Ordered 2 $10.95 burgers and an order of fries with a couple of drinks. We got there around 7:30 this evening and the place was not busy. After waiting for 45 minutes. I got up to find our waitress to find out where our burgers were. A few minutes later the manager came over to apologize for it taking so long and that our burgers would be right out. Thirty minutes after that he came back by to tell us that he had to grind the meat for the burgers and they should be out in the next 10 to 15 minutes. So after waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes. The meat for our burgers supposedly made it onto the grill. After waiting another 20 minutes nothing showed up. I got up, found the manager and told him to forget it after the people who sat down at the table in back of us 30 - 45 minutes after we got there, got their burgers before we did after sitting there for over an hour and a half we left! I would NOT recommend this place unless you want to wait 2 hours to get your food.

Was surprisingly impressed with the whole dinner. Will definitely come back & try the catfish if they have it again.

We had a lot of fun watching the fights. It was a great experience.

Staff is awesome! Waitress didnt charge us for our soft drinks. Very pleasant atmosphere. Awesome mix of music. GM BJ is a very kind and generous man! Definitely will continue going!

So glad they are back open!! We have missed it so much! Live bands or DJ, nothing beats getting out, hanging with friends and dancing the night away ❤❤

This is a FUN place! Check their schedule to see when they are open and whats going on each night. The night I was there people were having a great time talking with their friends, enjoying a drink or two, plus line dancing and two stepping. I will definitely be back soon!

Asked for a refund walking in the door for 5 min, management said no.lived here and gone here all my life. Management must’ve changed, they’ve never treated me and my friends like this.

Rockwall location has been around forever, dont like the younger clients being there, but the dance floor and bands are great. Recently went to the Irving location. The actual location might turn people off, hope it doesnt. But the inside is fantastic, its beautiful, the dance floor is big and TV is huge. I loved this place but the crowd hasnt caught on yet. Its only been open 7 days but I hope that since they built it they will come. Will be a great place between Dallas/Fort Worth.

Got here with a friend and when we walked in they charged us $53 and after 5 min we realized it was not as expected so we asked for refund as we were leaving and management told us no. Didn’t seem right.

Great place! Great Dance floor! Good music , except the DJ plays too much other music between band sets and not enough country music. My husband I will return!! Tracy Byrd was great!! Hopefully more people will come to this club to dance!!

Ordered burgers and waited 2 hours..once I hit that mark I cancelled my order. The place sits mostly empty on a Saturday night and I can see why. Manager visited the table twice (there was another group who waited longer) to assure us the burgers were coming out. They claimed to have run out of hamburger meat and had to grind more. When we pointed out that many hamburgers had come out while we waited (for patrons who came after is) they said they didnt get burgers. My mistake, the neat between two buns confused me. Avoid this place at all costs

Ok so waited a while to eat here. So my expectations were high. I love steak, if you know what I mean, so I going to be a little generous with my evaluations. Ordered medium rare thats what it cam as. Was flat and pressed grill marks where good taste was average. Better than golden corral but less than salt grass... just an average steak house if had to rate for just night club it 5 stars. But restaurant is average at best...Added 01/17/20Went to just eat because seen the chef on abc ,well needless to say didnt stay there where about 5 cars in the parking lot it was 7pm probably atleast 2 hours before the band even came on stage and they want a $10 cover if they are trying to get more business it isnt happening that way probably not gonna go back...

We came here for the first time to have dinner and see Parker McCollum. The 6 steaks we ordered were tasty but over done. After dinner was cleared the bar was starting to get busy, and it was impossible to get drinks. They are so under staffed and ill prepared for a crowd befitting to their venue. There were lines to get a drink at the bars, and even our table waitress couldn’t keep up. We loved the house band, dance floor, and Parker!! We will try them again some day, but will eat dinner elsewhere.

Good music, huge dance floor, and the staff is always friendly and smiling. I have not eaten there, so I am not able to comment on the food. But I always have a great time when I go there.

I’ve been twice and both times our orders have been forgotten. The second time was to a birthday dinner, and I received my food an hour after everyone else. The bar service was always quick, the food was good enough. We were compensated a free app each time for the wait, but I know I won’t be back.

Service is TERRIBLE. My parents ordered burgers and fries, after waiting an hour and 15 minutes without service there was still no food. The manager came out multiple times saying food was on the way and that they were grinding meat after being out. Still no burgers 30 minutes later. We watched 4 other burger orders go out in the meantime all while being assured food was on the way. We eventually just left without food.

Fun place. Love the atmosphere here. Generally an older crowd which is nice. Nice dance floor. Building is slightly on the warmer side at times. Overall a fun place to go dancing.

Guy at the booth did not give me a receipt when we came in. I went out to the car, but he would not let me back in without paying again.Its not the $10. Its the attitude.Never coming back here.

The atmosphere is Great, I feel the service is lacking, also we ordered crispy fried mushroom as our appetizer which were not battered very well, or chrispy, there should be quality check by the manager from the back of the house. I would like this place to succeed, Irving needs a cowboy dancing venue, however if additional wait staff are not brought on, or no quality food check before it is brought to the table, i dont feel Southern Junction, doesnt offer anything unique, that will keep me coming back. I also dont understand there policy on no free refills on soft drinks, never heard of this.

Went there on a night when a disc jockey was spinning the music. I asked them if they had a large catalog of music to choose from and they said virtually anything. So I asked them to play Hayseed Dixies version of the Ace of Spades by Motorhead. The DJ immediately scowled at me and said they dont play songs like that because it is not serious country music. So much for a place being able to making light of the music genre.

Staff is stellar and manager Brandon will bend over backwards to ensure a good experience. Great dance floor in excellent condition. Band cancelled at last minute. DJ stepped up and came through like a champ. Danced til Midnight, went home tired but happy.

Its a nice place. Nice dance floor, Very very nice decor , very good band. The only thing we noticed we didnt see a mechanical bull. We will come back here again. They have a free dance lesson every Thursday.

Have tried desperately to enjoy this place. Been 4 times, everytime unflattering.Went with the family one Saturday 6pm well before it was remotely late and was told my kids could not dance on the floor (yes we were literally an arms length away not just letting them run around)Another time went during a concert and the bartender threw my CHL ID (pulled it out instead of my DL) at me when carding me and said he wouldnt serve me. Didnt hand it back threw it????Food was decent but took over an hour when the place had less than 25 people in it total including staff.Now the AC is out and the place is a humid stuffy mess with some box fans in the cornersNo way this place can be remotely cutting even, has great potential but needs an overhaul of service and appeal...

If the a/c is working now it will make all the difference. Great band, fun variety of music from the DJ. The drinks were horrible and they did some false advertising for their grand opening specials. Id try it again because its close to family/ friends and I love music, but Id be cautious of my expectations.

Th service left a lot to be desired. It was our waitresses 2nd day in the job and she clearly had no previous server experience. Southern Junction needs to do a better job of training staff. The were a lot of frustrated customers that night. Being our first time there, I’m not sure we’ll go back. Without proper training, they are setting the wait staff up for failure and losing customers.

The ppl that are regulars there are wonderful,the food omg delicious,the Dj is awesome but to Mr Tony n Ms.Marie owners r the sweetest ppl

Great concert Parker McCollum! Paid $30 for a steak that was salty and tough. Don’t waste your money. Absolutely the WORST table service ever. Waitress never even came back to the table. Had to go to the bar to get out drinks Very understaffed! Drove an hour to come here. Won’t ever do it again!

Hey this place is unique in DFW! If you love live music, and love to dance, remember that there are not that many dancehalls to go to anymore. So support this one and provide the management the honest feedback they need to keep improving and help them grow their clientele at this new location. I am sure they will make it right. Enjoy! Steak house is incorrect. No steaks on the menu was available except for rib eye. No butter available for baked potatoes. Never did get our appetizers and had to cook our lousy rib eyes ourself. Had to make our own baked potatoes with no butter. Service was horrific. I understand it was busy for Ronnie Milsap..then hire more people for the event..order more steak..its not that hard. Wont be back. Waste of time and money

Im so glad a place this fun is so close! I had a blast. I saw Deryl Dodd and he was amazing. I did not eat there but tried my friends French fries... real potatoes very good. They liked the burgers. Onion rings were not that many and were soggy with grease... cooked in grease too low temp. Fixable. I like how you can get so close to the artists. They have country dance lessons but Im not sure what days? Bartenders know how to make good drinks. I would love to see Karoke nights there.

Place was hot, but I understand the A/C has been fixed. The server never returned to refill our drinks, or course we had non alcoholic, but still. Will give it another try, but things must improve.

The steaks were thin and pretty poor quality. About what you can get at Walmart, but the prices were significantly higher. You have to cook the steaks yourself, which is fine by me, but the fires arent really high enough to get such thin cuts of meat to even medium and also get some char on the outside or render much of the fat.Im a steak snob, and this place is clearly not for people who have strong opinions about cuts of meat and how to cook. Its for people who cant tell the difference between Walmart steaks and what even a low end sit down restaurant serves. I really felt ripped off by the whole situation. And that yellow block of shortening they call butter is disgusting.Overall the atmosphere is interesting but drink service was slow and the rest of the food was mediocre at best. One thing is for sure, it was memorable. My visit was back in December and I still pretty vividly remember my disappoinment when I looked in the meat case. I hope they found a new supplier since then.

The food leaves allot to be desired. Their loaded potato is loaded but its also quite small. The bun for the burger fell apart and the tomato slice was way too thick. Eat before you go there to see a show.

Food service is a mess. Drink prices are good, bands are good, dance floor could be better. Children allowed after 10pm that sucks, even saw underage kids here past midnight.

Good live music, the dj set is awesome and the photo ops are nice!

The SOJO cleaning crew and Tony are life savers! Went to a wrestling event and lost my wallet so I went back the next morning and Tony let us in so I could look for it we found it the same way it was found. This is a very honest trustworthy cleaning crew

I love the interior! The tables were too close together but I thought most of the seats in the venue had a good view of the open concert stage and there was the unique feature of a dance floor in the middle.

Great place for country dancing. Huge dance floor, the management obviously cares for its customers health as this is a clean air (non smoking) facility! Fast, efficient bartenders. Highly recommend!👍👍

Awesome place.

You can save two dollars by cooking your own steak. I paid to have a chef do it, but I wish I had done my own, as my New York Strip was overseasoned. The doneness was just right, though. The garlic bread was a thick slice of white bread, untoasted and saturated with salty butter on both sides. It was like a wet sponge. Disgusting. Baked potato was good, but apparently part of the hour delay in getting our food was that the waitress had to prepare new potatoes, as the cook had added the wrong condiments. Service was friendly. Music performance was good. Projected music videos between bands were fun.

Visiting the town, Irving, and made plans to go to this place. Little to be known, this place is closed down. No signs to tell you otherwise AND their website AND google states the place is open for business. No phone IVR script to announce closure when you call, either. A true testament to the owner(s) lack of understanding, on professionalism and common courtesy.

Air conditioner has been broken for three weeks now, very uncomfortable. They also have a cover charge after 9:00 pm, not worth the money, drinks are high as well.

Disappointed that my Dads first time there, his food didnt come with everyone elses. My food got cold because I didnt want to eat in front of my Dad, but I was happy that they didnt charge us for his meal. Unfortunately I ended up boxing up my dinner though.

Reasonable but neefs to get better organized. Stand in line to pay, stand in line for the steak, stand in line for the sides and then again for ur drink. Side bar with salad and veggies open and food uncovered.

Deryl Dodd was great! The steak was just so-so. Waited 10 minutes and then asked someone to find our server. She was okay but not great.

The the food. Love the atmosphere. Love the staff. Love the music. Love the entire concept. I bring at least one new person there every week.

This is a great honky tonk and restaurant. Good people, great atmosphere, great drinks and just a nice feel. Everyone will feel welcome. Live music, pool tables, steaks and shots shots shots.

High cover charge, too slow of music being played starting at 8 and the band sounded very off key. Left within an hour!!

We tried their food on Wednesday the two-for-one special steak was very flavorful everything was fresh was very pleased also great music with the Keith Mitchell band there are awesome

Nice dinner place, very cute inside. Didnt eat dinner, just went to see the band, Brian Lynn Jones and the Misfit Cowboys. Not into dinner houses. Not the right place to go for just dancing.

Opening a country dance hall in Irving, that was courageous! Props to the owner. Happy to see this place being a success!

Waited 2 hours for food, cancelled the order it showed up 30 minutes after that. Left it sitting on the table. For the crazy prices they charge you would expect much better.

New place, drinks allowed on dance floor, no ac crappy service children allowed after 10pm and under 21 allowed after that. Maybe when they grow up we might try again, til then dont waste your time

Staff wasnt very welcoming and thats for both, the SoJo staff and whoever rented this venue!!! The food was basic!!! How do you not season chicken wings??? I paid $7 for a beer!!!

Love a good county dancing place with live music and food. But would like see some healthy options on menu. And music to too loud. Turn it down please.

Great concert venue but just know if you want the staff to cook the steaks it takes a while otherwise you have to do it yourself.

I came for the dancing lesson with Jim Weber! Great DJ! If you go after 8 or 9 theres more people to dance with.

The building and dance floor are great, the bands usually very good, but unless you take your own dance partner, its going to be a lonely evening

Worst place I ever eaten. Service was the poorest I have ever experienced. They charge $2.00 to cook the beef the way requested. No mention on minue for doing so.

We went with a large party. Arrived at 7 and were sat at 730. We left at 920 when we had still not even recieved our salads.

Its free for right now. Doesnt get any better in town. Front side is norteñas and cumbia. The back side regeaton merengue salsa bachatta and a lil bit of old school music. Over all its a thumbs up

Just a nightclub, disappointing on the sound system,too much bass.Couldnt tell who was in control of the Soundsystem,the band or Southern Junction.Probably ok for tajano music .It is the third time I have been back since they reopened not the same.

Went to the boxing matches. Plenty of room. Lighting was great. Plenty of choices to eat and drink. It was a great time.

Great music venue, friendly staff but the dont have Angostura bitters and orange to prepare old fashioned cocktail

Overall had a great time but it was hard to get around the quite high drink prices.

The place was packed. And they only had 4 bartenders working. Took 30 mins to get a drink and when we got them they were wrong.

Very slow night but everybody was still in a good mood and enjoying the atmosphere enjoy the dance lessons and a few games of pool

Place, steak dinner, employees, everybody and everything was great friends n us will b back next Friday for dinner.
