Took a chance and walked in on a random day because it was super close to the office and my nails looked gross. I have been going back for two years now! Nancy does an incredible job, does not rush through it and my gels last forever. I really appreciate that she does not use an electric device to remove the polish. I love my nails!

I made a very late appointment here with Blanca and Nancy to get a mani-pedi and leg wax for my wedding. It was late in the day for all the services I wanted because of my work schedule, but since my wedding is in a few days I was kind of in a crunch. Plus, Id never had a wax before, so this was a bit of an experiment. They were both so nice for the whole experience, Blanca put me right at ease for the wax and we had such a great conversation. They let me know if anything happened to my nails before the wedding, they would touch it up for me. Also, WOW Nancy is great at foot and leg massages! Im so grateful - thank you ladies!

Poor manicure, requested a square shape and for all the nails to be the height of the shortest one and to not take length off the shortest.The shortest was made shorter and uneven with the rest, when I mentioned this the therapist snapped and proceeded to not speak for the rest of the treatment.Not only were the length and shape not what I asked for, it chipped already on the same day. Not worth $50 in the slightest.

This place is overrated and overpriced. The owner was pushy and rude. The service received was mediocre at best. The place wasn’t clean like the pictures want to show either. Nothing about the space gives “elite” or luxury. You’re helping her pay for the location. Seems like she hires anyone as a nail tech. I don’t recommend anyone waste their money here.

I love the attention I received in this place! I didn’t have an appointment but a wonderful lady called Blanca did her best to accommodate me and give me a great basic manicure. (For a great price ~$16!!) The place was clean and cozy.However, I would definitely recommend to add a sign outside, since the salon is in the second floor and the door is tiny.Will come back again!

I had the best service at Elite yesterday! Mara, with over 40 years of waxing experience gave me a quick and easy bikini wax before my coming trip! This is my second time waxing and my hair was super long so it wasnt an easy task. Mara helped me with breathing techniques and was just the sweetest person to be around. I will be happily coming back more regularly. Heads up, they are still renovating and getting settled in the new space, but everything was clean and cozy. Bonus: Theres the sweetest little puppy there that showed me so much love!

Wow, Ive never had a 100% standard nail polish manicure last so long. Im only three days in, but yall know how it is with the regular polish, and mine usually chips very quickly. Nancy is clearly an expert, used tools I havent seen before, and spent time making it perfect! Ill definitely be back.2nd review: I went back to get a gel manicure and it lasted a solid 3 weeks, which I have never had happen before. Amazing.

We had an awesome experience with Elite Day Spa. I called with less than a 24 hour notice to request a massage for myself, my daughter, and her friend. They were able to accommodate us and willing to let my daughter and her friend have their massage in the same room since it was their first and they were a little nervous. Every part of this experience was top notch!

Had a girlsweekend in NYC over Mothers Day and planned a spa day. We had booked a package deal which was supposed to include a massage, European facial, brown sugar body scrub, manicure and pedicure. It was a 4 hour package and all the details and included services were clearly listed on the website. The night before our spa day, we got an email saying that the nail tech had broken her wrist but they would include extra services to compensate for not being able to get our mani-pedis with our package.We arrived at the spa and spoke with the person at the desk about what services we could add to replace the mani-pedis. We then found out that the brown sugar body scrub was not actually available because they dont have showers at the spa. They claimed that they were in a new location even though the address was the same as when wed booked back in March. We were given the choice to add micro dermabrasion to our facials, and reflexology to our massages.Our first clue that this place was a bad choice was the client before us spent 20 minutes arguing with the receptionist and owner about payment (a friend had paid online and the owner claimed the payment never went through even though the friend supposedly had a receipt). Our second clue was the massage therapist being 15 minutes late for our appointment.The person who did my massage was clearly not trained in massage or reflexology. I go for regular massages at home and this one was just weird from beginning to end. They turned music on their phone and paused the massage every two to four minutes to skip ads on their phone. The massage was very sporadic and was like something I would have gotten from a boyfriend in high school. I had to ask for pillows under my hips because my lower back actually started to really hurt during the massage. The reflexology session was basically the person just rubbing my feet and occasionally pressing their nails into my arches. The facial was lovely and I was very happy with my results, but thats the only good thing I have to say about this experience.I was finished last out of all of us and while I was having my facial, I could hear my friends arguing with the receptionist and on the phone with the owner. When I joined them, they had already paid for me and couldnt wait to get out of the place. It turned out that the only methods of payment were cash or Venmo, and I had been planning on paying with a credit card so they paid for mine and I paid them back later. They also tried to get a discount since none of us actually had a 4 hour experience...mine was the longest at 2 and a half hours...and three of our five services werent available so we had to add things that none of us really wanted in the first place. We had tried to discuss a lesser payment/package when we arrived, but they insisted on adding more things to avoid having us pay less money. There was a list of services and their prices on a white board in the reception area, and my friends were using that to reference what our package should have included and the cost of equivalent services we received instead, and kept being told that those prices were incorrect. This was how the receptionist justified that we only received 4 services (massage, facial, reflexology, micro dermabrasion) and a 2 and a half hour experience instead of 5 services and a 4 hour experience. Basically their reason for refusing to charge us less was that the cost of the micro dermabrasion made up for what we couldnt get from our original package. When our travel agent found out about our experience, she contacted the owner to try to get a refund and the owner said no.I would absolutely never use this spa again and I highly recommended avoiding it at all costs. The whole experience was weird and stressful, the people working there lacked basic social skills, were difficult to work with and just seemed like they just wanted our money regardless of what type of experience they provided us.

Had a great experience yesterday with Nancy! I got a beautiful dip manicure. Nancy had amazing attention to detail and was very gentle and careful. The other ladies working at the spa were lovely as well. I would definitely go back on my next visit to New York.

Great spa, great massage, probably the best one I’ve been to in NYC. I’ve been to all sorts spas, and frankly, this one is top notch. Even while they are under renovation, they still do an amazing job and regardless, once they start giving you the deep tissue, you’ll see paradise. You won’t even realize the renovations.4 surgeries, 10 years of bodybuilding, approaching my 40th birthday, I’m old and beat up. The deep tissue here is amazing. They also offer some unique treatment—something called an ayurvedic chakra fusion-whatever, I couldn’t pronounce it, but it is fantastic, worth the money, and def. a once in a lifetime experience. I know nothing about this stuff, but it had me like spaghetti when I was finished.Finally, pedicures. My feet are terrible. The only attention they get are from my dog who licks them all day. They give amazing pedicures. Not only was the lady brave enough to touch these hoofs, which it was clear she earned her tip, but she made these talons look pretty decent.Try it for yourself. I bet you wont regret it.

I had the option to bought two sessions of pedicures I used one of it in June and the other one expire in Nov 17 which I call to make an appointment for it. Someone told me they can only use one session and I asked why they have the option to purchase more than one. Very disappointed with them I tried to cancel it in Groupon there are no option to caned or trade in. My money gone in vain.

Wow! We were so impressed with Elite Day Spa! Blanca was excellent, my pedicure and manicure were amazing. This spa is very clean, peaceful, and we had a great time. My manicure and pedicure lasted a long time and looks gorgeous. I would definitely go back!

Very nice space. One of the best manicures I’ve ever gotten. Pre lockdown I used to get a lot of gel manicures, this was my second since March 2020, and it was exactly the experience I had wanted after going so long without.Wonderful application of the gel, my cuticles were cleaned up nicely without being completely cut off (which I requested). I like that it was a waterless gel manicure as well.I feel the price is on par for midtown but may be a tad on the pricey side overall. Although they seem to have several good discount offers.The staff are very friendly and helpful. I’m looking forward to going again.

While in New York recently I needed a haircut before a last minute business meeting and Elite was a perfect decision.The entire place is clean, friendly, and professional, and my stylist Agnes was amazing. She was quick, but also took the time to really listen to what I wanted, made sure my hair was perfect before letting me go, and the price was great.I find that it rare these days for salons to take that kind of care with their one-time clientele. You wont regret choosing Elite and, while I only got a haircut, they do offer a range of services for men and women alike at fair prices.

I have been going to Elite Day spa since I was in my 20’s working at Condé Nast. It was the place to get a wax and pedicure. After moving I found myself in the city and happened upon Elite’s New location for a quick drop in manicure. Not only did I see Mara, the queen of waxing, still doing what she does best, but I discovered they are the best at manicures as well. They did such a great job fixing my nails and everyone was super friendly. Glad to know they are in a new home. Be sure to check them out!

Good manicure and pedicure and facial. Called for an appointment - was very surprised to show up to a completely empty salon except for me and the woman who performed my manicure and pedicure. Waited for the esthetician to arrive for my facial. No other clients the entire time I was there. Im way too nice and I agreed to buy the night cream recommended for me - complete rip off - charged me $80 for a product I can get on Amazon for $42.99.

I come here for waxing treatments and hair cuts. They have really helped give me a great shape for my eyebrows and I could not be happier! They are just perfect every time. I have a low tolerance for pain so believe me when I say Mara does an almost painless waxing experience! As for haircuts, I have thick curly hair that is difficult to manage. But the stylists at Elite always do a great job and help make my hair more manageable!

Made appointments here for gel manicures and was cancelled on. They rescheduled and promised a complimentary massage but upon arrival the nail tech was already trying to get us out the door, we wanted gel manicures with simple designs and the nail tech stated she couldn’t even do that. For all the trouble Elite day spa is definitely not worth it

MY FAVORITE PLACE for waxing, manicures and pedicures! Yesterday I got the best manicure and pedicure ever in the most chic, sophisticated spa inManhattan. Convenient location is midtown. The small staff is capable and takes a personal interest in giving you their attention. Every person arriving is greeted as if they are an old and dear friend. And often they are! I have known and loved the owner for 25 years!

The staff is so friendly here, easy to book a service online, and Nancy gave me a great gel manicure with a phenomenal hand massage to cap it off. I can definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs their nails taken care of.

Gel manicure and regular pedicure survived 1 week doing all work (cooking, cleaning, laundry, packing, etc.) in a beach rental home with 3 small kids, plus daily beach and ocean time. They look as good today as they did when I walked out of the salon! Julie is professional, efficient and amazing. The salon is beautiful and clean. Cant wait to go back!

I have always known Elite Day Spa to be an authentic European waxing spa. I was happily surprised to find out that this famous wax center also has amazing massage therapists! Had a great sports massage here that really helped my muscles. I’m a D1 athlete so I often get massages to help heal my muscles faster. I’ve never had such an awesome massage before! So glad my friend recommended me to Elite Day Spa for massages. It really seems they have mastered every spa service here!

Been going to Mara for waxing for over 8 years now, only woman I trust! Always efficient and fast with very minimal pain. Im in and out in less than 15 min. Amazing manicures and pedicures as well. Definitely recommend making an appointment but walk ins are welcome and wait time isnt long.

It’s a great NYC salon for men! My hair is difficult to manage - it is thick and curly so hard to find someone good to cut my hair! Everyone at Elite Day Spa is great and I trust only them to do my haircuts!

Elite is my favorite place for waxing and blow drys! In midtown manhattan it is hard to find such an amazing place that has it all. If you need a great facial, effective electrolysis or beautiful eyebrows, this is the place and Elizabeth is the person. Elizabeth is a true master of her craft. Her full of understanding of the skin and ability to find a unique approach to each skin type is amazing. Not only the skin looks younger and healthier right after her facials, the entire process is very relaxing and enjoyable. She literally rescued my skin from a complete disaster with her amazing facials and electrolysis sessions.

My girlfriend has been coming here for years and on a whim she dragged me and surprised me for a facial and a massage. Well, they made a convert out of me. The staff was incredible and my skin has never been smoother and I came out feeling relaxed and refreshed. I highly recommend.

Really fantastic. They are unpretentious, efficient, and reasonably priced. Got a pedicure, gel manicure and my hair curled in about 1.5 hours. All came out great. They even called me to tell me they were running 10 minutes late so I knew not to rush there—very thoughtful. Highly recommend!

I have had waxing treatments by Mara at Elite Day Spa for years. She does excellent, professional work. The new location at 29 West 46th Street is convenient and is equipped with an elevator to go to the second floor. I will continue to go there for waxing and other beauty treatments in the future.

Mara is the wax expert that will you keep laughing the entire appointment! I have been coming to Elite for almost 10 years now and don’t want to go anywhere else. Some may disagree, but I feel like Brazilian waxing is a pretty intimate experience, and Mara makes the whole thing very comfortable and less dreadful ;)

Made an appointment a month ago on a birthday trip for my daughter - with email confirmation. When I arrived l was told I didn’t have a reservation, that someone else must have taken it and didn’t write it down, and then told me they had a client and walked away. Unbelievably unprofessional and disappointing.

I had the one hour Swedish massage with Nancy and it was the BEST MASSAGE OF MY LIFE!...Ive never had a professional massage like this one. I came out of that massage room feeling dizzy but in a good way, and I was so relaxed I couldnt walk straight lol. Im def recommending this spa to all my friends. Ive been raving about it since I left! 💆🏻😄

Elite is the best place I have ever gone for waxing. I have been going there (to Mara) since 2000. When they moved locations, I followed. I will never go anywhere else and I recommend highly. They give the best Brazilian bikini wax there is and prices are great!

I got a facial here and it was an awesome experience. The personelle was professional and nice. I did not have to wait in line and the treatment was straightforward and relaxing. My face feels very clean and I’m looking forward to being a repeat customer! Maybe I’ll try them for haircut next time!

I went here twice a couple months ago and I had really liked it. But they’ve canceled my appointment at the last minute twice now. That’s just not reliable enough for me. I went to the address in my email notification for my 10:30 appointment and turns out they’re not even fully moved in yet: I received an email that my appointment was canceled at 10:29.

The worker was a sweet person but service was not good. Left marks on my skin.. Patchy, used the same stick for the wax through out the process, and did not ask if the temperature of the wax was comfortable for my skin before proceeding with lines of wax - it was so hot that my body jerked from the pain

I came in last week for the first time and got a Brazilian Bikini wax at Elite and the woman who helped me was very nice and did a great job, and I also decided to get a facial done last minute and the woman who helped me targeted exactly what I needed to clear my face up and make it feel fresh.

Best massage in New York City. Got the first time customer special price and have now been returning weekly for massages! The therapists really get deep into the muscles and are exceptional!

An additional unnecessary wax was pushed on me to make them some extra money, which was a total turn off. Additionally, my eyebrow wax left me with one eyebrow in great shape and the other with a weird dip I am unable to fix except with makeup. However, it was easily the most painless facial wax I ever had; I was just very unhappy with the results.

Bait and switch! We called before visiting the spa and were told a massage was one price. But after the massage, my relative was told the price was more than double the price AND the spa would NOT accept the gift card she had.
