Living Room

I thought I made a reservation to this place but apparently there is another the living room. I ended up here by mistake but did I discover a coool bar! The atmosphere felt great, the drinks were delicious. The bar belongs to a hotel. I’m assuming most people there were hotel customers. I might be wrong. However, I felt like I discovered a place that’s both impressive and not super known to the public.I enjoyed my time here so definitely recommended

Comfortable and cool, modern decor. I like the neon behind the bar, but a significant amount of it is burned out. The service is mostly quite good - we had excellent bartenders for the most part, but did run into a server who clearly doesn’t enjoy her job. Drink prices are completely out of control. The drink list is fairly small but does include some tasty options. The wine list, similarly, is small with a couple of interesting wines. The wine glasses are inexcusable, however. They are small and cheap and do not add to the wine experience in any positive way.

Came here for an event! It’s near Times Square but it’s fun! Cool new decor and good drinks.

Such a classy and picture perfect place. They have these cute pods that provide some privacy and exclusivity. Its in the W Hotel lobby so it is not a separate lounge. But a very handsome venue nevertheless!

Super good and cute because this restaurant is the first time and like because all the waiters and waitresses and all the staff are so kind and super affectionate and respectful of all the customers who go to this restaurant. I thank them for everything they are doing in their work and etc. .

I come here every two days.Love the new bar.Great place to work with the free WiFi.Just bring your laptop, get into one of the booths and relax!The graffiti in the washrooms is beautiful!

Jonathan is an amazing mixologist at the bar very friendly and helpful in drink selections. Live music on Friday night as well.

Googled lounges in Time Square since my friends were in town for a broadway show and they stayed at a hotel in the area. Google Maps showed that they closed at 2:40am. We got there before 1am, and they said the bar was closed. It doesn’t take 2 hours to close down a small bar like that, so I’m still confused.

A great option for a quality cocktail considering this is the time square area. Staff is very service oriented and the cocktails are balanced very well. Comfortable, elegant ambience.

Nice if you ar guest of the hotel. Otherwise find a better place with a proper NY vibe

Retro 70’s/80’s designed room with decent music that you can control the volume of in your space-pod like booth. Drinks are nicely constructed, priced a bit high but not completely unreasonable. Unfortunately the staff are lacklustre , don’t do friendly sincerely, basically just putting in the hours. Having said that our server did take a stab at it. It’s in complete isolation of Times Square which can be nice in the late afternoon. If we weren’t staying at the W we would have never stopped for drinks here. Unless we stay at the W again we won’t be back. This is not a reflection of the W hotel staff they were great.

Brilliant place to eat and drink. Food, drink and service are great. Worth a visit if you are going to Hells Kitchen.

Super cozy and relax. The vibe was awesome. I enjoyed the music from the side area. If you want to go somewhere where its laid back and not too many people then come here.

This is a great place for informal networking event. The pace is very modern, quiet and roomy. I organized an alumni meet up for a dozen people. We had a great time and very meaningful conversations.

Looking for a cocktail lounge in the middle of crazy Times Square? Go to the W Hotel Times Square and take the elevator to the 7th floor. Its classy and has a good ambience. A perfect place to get a nice glass of wine or cocktail before or after a show. Great service and Jonathan is the awesome bartender.

Nice classy place. A diverse mix of different music. Plenty of seats for people to lounge out. Dance floor in front of the DJ booth for you to dance.

Were enticed by W hotel charging a $25 dollar fee. Drinks are on the high side, but equivalent to most bars and restaurants. The space was clean, secure and fun. We will still comeback.

A highly overpriced hotel bar off the lobby. The service was horrendous with no one servicing the tables. I waited 20 minutes and one server slowly walked around helping a few customers. Another server just stood by the bar and did nothing. Management out to lunch.

Out on a Thursday night celebrating my husband for a business award and came for a drink after the ceremony. Another customer picks a fight with my husband and friend when we were just standing at the bar. Weird clientele, though we thought it would be a nice place. The manager asks us to leave, even though we were just standing not bothering anyone, while it was the other client who was picking a fight out of no where. It makes you wonder if this is really a Times Square trashy place or not. Would not recommend. Clientele is sketchy and the management is awful.

Not my cup of tea. Bar was not able to do a Sezerac. Disappointing.

Service was great, but they served no food, and the lobby felt like it needed some Christmas decor.

This place is amazing 👏 from the food being large portions... the drinks are immaculate and the staff are so friendly 🥰. I loved how clean it is and you really felt comfy 💕 and welcomed. I love love love this place and I accidentally ran into it because I was going somewhere else.

The Ws living room is run down now. And the hotel is overall going through renovation. The drinks are expensive but good. All is all a good experience but expected better hospitality

Cozy and intimate bar serving well crafted cocktails. The dj was playing pop rock/alternative pop, soul and rnb music. It was a vibe.

The LIVING ROOM at The W Hotel is a great space to have a personal or work related celebration at. The room can be divided in 1/2 or 1/3rd and roped off for you and guests for a smaller crowd (of 35-50 folks) or you can rent the whole space say for 3 hrs. You can also have a DJ, assorted refreshments and access to the bar. Lastly, if you dont want to do either, its just a cool place for you and a friend to have a drink & chat moment/meeting. Went there to have drinks with a friend who was celebrating her and her twins birthday. The dj was good, he got the crowd going. The lounge area is cool, there are booths with speakers that you can control, which is a thumbs up. The elevator was a little confusing, there are two different sets of elevators, one only goes up and the other only goes down.The drinks are good and the staff were very friendly

Went for a drink at the hotel after am entire day full of touristy and kids activities.... and boy did we need drink!It was fun, we loves those cocoon like booths because we could put the music loud ander the kids relax. Oh and us too. Staff great, cocktails strong!!!

Was a good time. The staff was very nice, the space is attractive and clean including the bathroom. Seems like its well managed.. The service and drinks were great! Always a good time!

Love the ambiance. I do think they need to clean or change the upholstery on the lounge chairs upstairs. It looked pretty dirty and made my guest not want to sit down. Other than that, the place and the people are great.

No negatives to report. Good bar in times sq off the street traffic scene. Make it a go to pre or post theater. When its back in full swing. Bartenders are fun and attentive.

Excellent live music, Joanna Teters and Jose Lopez. Unique atmosphere, intimate seating available. Relaxing spot for a Monday evening, but definitely seems like a crowded place for the weekend.

Absolutely horrible service. The “club promoters” sit you down and bring you alcohol and then tell other people they can sit with you and drink your alcohol. Random people will just walk up and drink from your bottle of liquor without asking. He said “please feel free to tip” and then spent the whole time texting on his phone and ignoring us.

Its a standard w hotel bar. Very trendy, and a cool atmosphere that feels sort of forced. More than anything I didnt feel like I was right next to time square which is a missed opportunity. Prices werent too offensive and the staff were were attenentive and friendly

Cool bar, no entry fee at least if your early and great tasting drinks. It’s a lounge with a small dance floor but if you can grab a seat it’s cool to kill a few hours here in the heart of Times Square.

We really enjoyed this spot in the W hotel. It was a great reprieve from Times Square where we were able to sit for a little while and get a couple drinks.

First time at The W living room lounge for the premiere of Broadway at the W night, with speciality cocktails and performers for the Broadway show Waitress....pretty cool space.

Place looks exactly like the pictures service was perfect and the signature cocktails were delicious and not watered down totally worth the price.

Dark and shuts down early. Not really sure how to figure out schedule. Would be nice to grab a snack and coffee in the morning without going to Mexican restaurant.
