NYC Massage and Spa

Ive been a loyal client of NYC Massage and Spa for the past three years, and I cant imagine going anywhere else. The therapists here are incredibly professional and knowledgeable. I schedule my massages with them twice a month, and I always recommend this establishment to all my friends and family. You really should give their services a try – you wont regret it. If you go, ask for Wendy, Mia, or Esther, my favorite therapists, though Im sure theyre all very skilled.

I found this place on Google reviews and I want to confirm all the positive reviews about these guys. I want to start from first impressions. This spa is located on 48th Street, directly opposite the Rockefeller Center Square. A small cozy office and three separate massage rooms, quiet relaxing music, new tables and absolute cleanliness. Very friendly staff, separate appreciation to Alex who welcomed me and answered on all my questions. Everything is exactly at the appointed time, which is absolutely not typical for New York) But what prompted me to write this review is massage. I work a lot at the office and as a result is a constant pain in the back and the right arm. After a very busy day, I decided to order 1 hour of full body massage. The therapist immediately found out which muscles on my back were clamped and an hour later I came out a completely different person. Believe me, these folks are professionals and are worth every penny spent. Highly recommend and of course will come again.

I was looking looking for a serious SPA, which can do a medical and real deep tissue massage. Finally I found the place, whom I can trust my back. Service is great! And view on Rockefeller Center is nice. Recommend it

I decided to try and book a different massage place for my husbands birthday. The scheduling of the massage was straightforward and quick. However, we ran into some issues the day of. We arrived fairly early as was instructed for the massage in order to provide our massage preferences. The lady who we thought was the receptionist but was actually the female massage therapist did not ask for our preferences. The male massage therapist was late and we were ushered into the room. The therapist asked my husband the pressure and type of massage he wanted as he was laying face down on the table while my therapist asked me while I was sitting and facing her. My husband felt like it was strange and a tad unprofessional given the amount we were paying. The massage room was not insulated well from the construction sounds outside so that was also distracting, but its New York City, so theres not much you can do about that.The massage overall was a Swedish massage was fine but we were looking forward to the hot stone portion which I had indicated in the scheduling email that we wanted it. It was not made known to us that we had to request it in person. Furthermore, the price of the massage did not include tip which was a bit surprising for us and given the overall experience we felt it was definitely not worth the rate per hour. We were provided a 10% first-time customer discount in the initial email which was not deducted during our payment after the massage and the female massage therapist told me that there was no discount when I mentioned it. There was confusion all around and we had to retroactively receive the discount from the initial scheduling person, so it seems like theres some disconnect between scheduling and staff working in office.Overall, it was unfortunately a disappointing experience as I was looking forward to giving my husband a relaxing massage for his birthday, but he came out feeling disappointed to say the least.

This place is amazing! I had a 10/10 experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to be completely relaxed after a massage. Maiya and Esther worked out all the tension I had in my body and I left feeling like I was walking on clouds! I will definitely be back!

We went in for a couples massage. Wendy and Esther were so kind. They are well skilled and have a nice and soft touch to every massage they do. Would absolutely recommend trying this place out!

Esther is an exceptional masseuse who is highly skilled and attentive to detail. She creates a calming atmosphere and takes the time to understand her clients specific needs and areas of tension. Esthers touch is both firm and gentle, and she is able to locate all of the knots and sore spots in her clients muscles, working them out with precision and care. She regularly checks in with her clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction. Overall, Esther provides a truly exceptional massage experience and comes highly recommended.

My session was canceled without any explanation and excuse once I asked the name of my masseur. Is it normal? Don’t recommend.

During the reservation, I asked the therapists names and their licenses. The one, who was talking to me started to be unpolite and refused to provide anything. Avoid the place, go to the legit parlor.

I was looking for specialist who can do a real good anti-cellulite massage. I was lucky to find this place !Now I can write a review as I’ve done the course and see amazing results.My therapist was so skilled and after first meeting she also suggested to work on my back, for what I’m so grateful. Now I feel much better , no pain and my back became really flexible.We did photos before/after and the difference is obvious! No more “orange peel”! My skin became so soft and taut! Love it

I made a reservation. The Alex canceled just one hour right before the appointment without explaining any reason and was very rude. I don’t recommend to waste your time and money at this place.

The most enjoyable gift from my husband for our anniversary. I was surprised when a male therapist Mao and female therapist Diane took care about us. But later I was explained that it is an exchange of energy and we were covered and draped during the session, everything was so delicate and they kept our privacy. So we feel ourselves comfortable during the whole session. Everyone was friendly, nice and clean, which is very important during COVID time. Yes, their rooms are not so spacious, but so cozy place. P.S. they have a great view of Christmas tree, which gives you a special atmosphere of happiness.

It is my third visit for couples massage together with my wife. The location is great, the heart of Manhattan Midtown, just right next to Rockefeller Centre. Place is safe, clean and cozy, staff is friendly and nice. We tried hot stone therapy and love it!

I did a 90 minute package they offered which was 60 min massage followed by a 30 min facial. #1 reason why I will not go back is because my therapist was constantly using her phone during the service during the massage. I asked for a deep tissue which after 15 min turned into a light rub. Maybe she was tired and done for the day since it looked like i was the last client. Also, starting the facial, before using any of the products, she never asked about my skin type or concerns I have. None of the products she used was explained to me. I am an esthetician myself and my service was done so carelessly and poorly. Not worth $300. I tipped 20% because I also do work in the service industry but she did not deserve half that and I will not be going back.

An absolute gem! As a woman travelling solo in New York for a couple of days I was looking for a safe, clean and serene massage somewhere central and this place delivered. Right by the Rockefeller centre but more to the point an absolutely brilliant massage - I left on a cloud! Would go next time I’m here.

Alex was very thorough on the phone and explain everything to me, with no room for misunderstanding. My massage experience was very delightful as well. Rosmali was incredible. I have never had a better masseuse. She worked on all my problem areas, helped me breathe through the tough spots and was very relaxing. Amazing experience, especially considering that I’m working in the midtown and they’re conveniently located within 5 min of a walking distance from my office! I don’t even need to find specific time out of my busy schedule, lunch time is enough to go and get my zen after stressful morning, refresh and go back energized and ready to finish the second part of the day in a great mood and state of mind! With my office job style I’m sitting at my desk all the time non-stop, massage is essential for me and what I got from this friendly office was beyond my expectations! You can express your needs, let them know what is it that bothers you mostly and they’ll find specific massage that will target your trouble areas. Their prices are really competitive considering their location in the very center of the city, you can get pretty good deal and keep your volet safe. The ambiance in the office is amazing, relaxing, I’d never imagine I can get into such meditative mood in the busiest area of the city! My fiancé and I recently moved to Manhattan and have been busy in different sports leagues since arriving. We had the chance to finally do a couples massage with Vasyl and Valerie and it was just what we needed to recover after a few long active months. Since were not from New York were more used to a lounge experience, but getting space like that in Manhattan would probably be insane. I personally dont mind what the space is like, but the massage is everything. The ambiance and music were very relaxing. After entering our room, the masseuses asked what specific areas we wanted work on as well as continually checked during the massage. NYC Massage and Spa provided us with quality service and great massages.

My overall experience has been superior. Booked a same day appointment on a Sunday afternoon and it was easily the best massage Ive ever had. Pressure was fine tuned to my exact needs and I felt an immediate difference in my body afterwards. 10/10 would go again

The best massage and service ever! They made our anniversary unforgettable. We were looking for a place where a couples massage is available. We were in the same room together. We had a preference, so I was given a massage from female therapist and male therapist for my wife. I would say it was a total Yin and Yang philosophy in our Spa day.

My other half and I came here to get full body massages for the first time and the service was great! They were so nice and considerate of the pressures, everything was amazing and I was extremely relaxed after the massage. Great customer service, quiet & calm atmosphere where all you hear is music...I could go on and on with how wonderful this place is! I will be back again in the near future!

An unusual find! My massage was truly therapeutic and given by a dedicated professional. All aspects of the experience were positive, focused on an intelligent and sensitive approach to the underlying physical imbalance I was experiencing. Not only did I leave feeling better, but I was not simply mystified by the experience, as occurs in so many massage services.

I had the opportunity to get a massage appointment NYC massage and it was a rewarding experience, Entela, my therapist, was able to pay attention to the areas I complained about having pain, not only but she did a very adapting massage by combining everything in one, she knew well how to target the trigger points,it was a full massage from tiptoe to the scalp, I highly recommend this place to everyone. Definitely used your service. You sent two massueuses to our hotel for a coupmes massage for me and my wife. Massuese for my wife was very rough and despite guidance ended up leaving bruises from massage.

Ugh.. what a place! Got there after very stressful week, left as another person. Definitely come back and recommend. You can feel the difference between professional hands and just okay place. They know what they doing.

The facilities were very clean and comfortable. I received a 90 minute deep tissue massage from Elena. She was wonderful. I would highly recommend.

My back has given me trouble for some time and needed some attention. This hit the spot. Very unique style that really gave the trouble spots some much needed work. Paid $35 for a half hour which was reasonable, although its a little tricky to find.

Alex and his team are very welcoming in this midtown oasis. It’s a great place for a lunch break massage or facial. I’ll be coming back here for sure!
