Michelle is amazing! I came here 2 weeks ago and wasnt super happy with my nails, but Michelle called and apologized and asked me to come back so she could re-do my nails. I came back today, and she was so kind and did an AMAZING job on my nails! She recommended this natural nude jelly color which I love. This is how a business should be run. Michelle cares about her customers more than she does about $, which I respect and shows a lot about her character. Thank you Michelle for being so great, I will be back!
Michelle is the sweetest, I always get acrylic nails done here and even though sometimes the wait can be long it is so worth it! Everyone works so fast, are always so nice, and my nails always come out amazing! Michelle said she had never done nails like these ones (in the pictures) before but she did an absolutely amazing job!
I’ve been coming here for a few months after I moved into the neighborhood. I saw Leo each time and he is great. The last three times I’ve been in has been terrible in terms of customer service and the work done. I had an appointment and had to wait 40 minutes to get started. The next time, I had an appointment and had to wait 35 minutes to be seen. This was the second time in a row I was in the nail salon for two hours for a manicure. I went in today and waited 35 minutes with my nails in acetone without being checked on while others walked in and were seated. I left as my fingers were starting to burn. I was coming back after my SNS started to crack in less than a week.I always tip 25-30%, I’m kind and never raise my voice to those in customer service. I can see an issue with over scheduling one or two times but it’s become unacceptable. I would only go if Leo was there and I would be treated more appropriately.
I am a frequent customer of Elegant Nails Spa, but today I left extremely disappointed and felt duped! I went in with four-week-old ombre gel extensions that needed shortening and refilling. The lady on the nearest right closest to the entrance offered to help me after a 20-minute wait. From the start, she was in a rush. She shortened my nails completely to the finger level instead of just trimming them. Her hurried approach led to multiple instances of her injuring my fingers with the machine, and I had to pull my hand back several times. There was no cuticle removal or manicure performed.Instead of using actual white gel for the ombre, she used white eyeshadow, resulting in an untidy, faded look. The final result was unsatisfactory, with short, untidy poorly blended ombre nails. To my surprise, she charged me $85 for the service, claiming that making the nails shorter cost more and that white eyeshadow was more expensive than white gel. I felt robbed in broad daylight but paid because I didn’t want to cause a scene. This experience ruined my Friday, and I will not be returning to Elegant Nails Spa.
I came all the way from Jersey as I had an appointment w/ another place that got canceled and I was looking for somewhere that would take a walk-in! I was concerned when looking for a place because I was looking for care and quality especially since I’ve been trying to make my nails strong again. Yet, I was so lucky to find this place b/c I did not have any concern once I met the staff here, they were attentive and very helpful! Although I will say the wait was a little bit, I cannot argue since I was a walk-in, and I understand b/c Michelle is very busy, as she seems to be the only one who does gel extension services. Regardless, she helped me and her staff helped me as much as they could! Michelle definitely understood the assignment when I showed her a picture, and I really appreciated that she vocalized the prices as I asked for certain details. As Required as that may seem some salons don’t do that unfortunately. The prices are also really good, especially for the services that they give. She was also quick efficient and caring! When I come to the city again, I definitely know where to go :)
Michelle did me so riighttt! I needed my nails done before a trip and the same day before a concert. She was very busy and managed to squeeze me in. I had only 25min or I was going to be late to my concert but she did so well in such a short amount of time (Jimmy did prep them ahead of time which helped alot). I even had to change the colors last minute because the because the ones I picked werent the right choice and she picked a far better base in a rush. I really liked this design and will likely do again in the future. They lasted 3 weeks and my nails are so HEALTHY after removing. They are usually dry and brittle even with the two I got extention on they look so clean. Very happy with the nails done and health of my nails after.
I made my appointment a day early for SNS gel extensions for 6PM. I arrived on time and ended up having to wait 30 minutes before being assisted. I asked for French manicure and 2 nails with designs. I had Michelle as my nail tech. Overall she was good, but I had to ask her to redo designs about 3 times staff per nail. I felt like she was in a rush to get the nails done and was watching the cameras on her phone simultaneously. The designs were simple flowers but they did not turn out the way I hoped. The ATM was broken as well and people could not pay in cash. It felt very chaotic in the environment and rushed.
Completely mediocre experience. $32 for a pedicure that last less than 32 minutes. The feet aren’t scrubbed, the 2 minute massage is weak at best. My toes were painted well hence the second star.
First time I went my experience was amazing!!! My nails looked perfect and the service was comfortable and enjoyable. However the second time I went I had the opposite experience. I tried making an appointment and they said oh you won’t need one on a Friday afternoon so I went and ended up having to wait almost 30 minutes. I had somewhere to be so I had to ask her to rush. The gel removal also hurt my nails and absolutely wrecked them. When I told her this she said oh that is normal …. The finished nails still looked good just was not a great experience second time around
Michelle always does such an amazing job on my nails! I come back to this place time and time again because I know I will always get a quality manicure and pedicure. I have been getting gel x on my nails for the past year, and I don’t see myself ever going to a different salon because Michelle does such a great job. Everyone is so nice and the overall experience is 10/10! I love this place!
I hesitate to leave a positive review because I don’t want this place to get too crowded!! Excellent attention to detail, especially with pedicures and the best massages. Prices are incredibly fair!
My girlfriend (who is a Black woman) visited this nail shop on Juneteenth to get her nails done. She had an APPOINTMENT scheduled for 10am. After waiting 90 MINUTES, she was still waiting for someone to help her. Then, a random white lady walked in, sat for 10 minutes, and left because the shop was too busy. The employees insisted that this white lady stayed and allowed her to skip over my girlfriend, just because she was ready to leave--even though my girlfriend had been waiting 90 MINUTES! Frustrated by the situation, my girlfriend decided she also wanted to leave and NO ONE said a thing or apologized for the wait. ABSOLUTELY ridiculous!!!
Went here for a basic manicure and pedicure with my fiance and it was a great experience! My manicure lasted almost 2 weeks. Will def come back again :D
I had an appointment with my friend, we got there early and there was a set of 2 people who came 5 min after us, but the workers took them before us. This happened with 2 more people while I was waiting for 40 minutes after my appointment time for my service to begin. We had 2 appointments scheduled, one for each of us, and instead of having 2 techs doing our nails, we had 1 worker who fit two appointments - an acrylic fill in and a gel X extension - into ONE hour. I had the acrylic fill in and the worker was extremely rushed because her next appointment had already shown up. She didn’t listen to me when I asked what I wanted for my nails, cut them shorter than I asked for, my fill in is physically gritty and I have acrylic all over my skin and cuticles that is lifting the polish off of my nails. I also asked for a very simple design which was some curved and squiggled lines on 2 fingers. She said she could do it because she did a very similar design on my friend just 20 minutes prior, but AFTER she cured the gel polished and she realized that the design looked awful, she goes “I can’t really do that design.” This was a horrible experience and I am still so upset and dumbfounded that FOUR people who walked in after me were taken for their services before me - despite showing up early to my appointment. Never going back, completely wasted my money because I will now be going to a different salon to get this disaster redone.
Really frustrating experience. First time there and won’t be returning. I called before going to see if they had time to do a gel tip set. They were closing in two and half hours so I wanted to make sure. The woman on the phone said yes and to come in. I was nearby and could arrive in ten minutes, which I did. Once I arrived there seemed to be a misunderstanding. The woman said she thought I meant a regular gel manicure. I clarified that I had said “gel tips.” I could tell she was annoyed as she started raising her voice to a woman I believed to be named Michelle. It was a very awkward moment. I asked if they still had time. Both women just told me to sit and wait and that someone would be with me shortly. About ten minutes later a different woman asked me to come sit in a chair and helped me pick out a color. I believed this to be the start of my manicure. I picked out a color. She then began giving another customer a pedicure. Nothing was communicated to me. I then waited for another 20 mins. I started to debate if I should leave. Then a different woman came up to me and said that Michelle is the only person who can do the set but that she’ll be done with the current customer she was with shortly. I asked if they were sure she’d have time. I was going to leave, but this woman said it wouldn’t be long. I then waited for another 40 mins. It had been an hour in total at this point. Michelle finished with that customer and then began to see another customer who had been waiting. I was unaware she was waiting for Michelle to fix her manicure that she had previously gotten. Thats when I decided to leave. At that point it was 8pm and they were closing at 9. Michelle said she wouldn’t be long it just be 40 mins longer. I said “I understand but it’s already been an hour.” Her response was apathetic. I left. Really poor communication and honestly felt like I was being strung along. I saw a few reviews on here that appointments are basically useless. I wish I had seen that sooner. I heard one employee tell someone on the phone to come now because no one was waiting and that wasn’t true. Truly frustrating and a waste of time.
I found this place on chance. Wow! They are so nice here. I walked in without an appointment for a pedicure, and this place did not miss. They were patient with me as I changed my nail color a few times and I messed the polish. The basic pedicure includes a hot towel and a massage. Their customer service was excellent and I will definitely be back in the future.
I absolutely love this place and cant get over how perfect they made my nails look. I got a gel manicure and its lasted almost 3 weeks without lifting from the back or chipping in any way. Im so impressed with this place and cant wait to go back!
I am so disappointed. I called in to make an appointment to get an acrylic fill. When paying I was told the total was $70. When I asked why she said because she used gel on my nails which I did not ask for. I told her that I did not ask for gel, and she said she would have charged me the same amount because she “basically” gave me a new set which she didn’t. I got a new set 3 weeks before and have never been told that. Also, my nails chipped after 1 week which has been so disappointing.
I got a regular manicure and it was messed up (chipped, polish moving) within 20 minutes of leaving after waiting 20 minutes in the shop for it to dry; got it redone and it became chipped once again within an hour. The pedicure was done well.
I truly recommend avoiding going to elegant nails. I went in and asked for ONE acrylic refill and French, as the original one broke. I am appalled by the end result. The brushes and tools are filthy, and as the glue brush was red, it now appears under my nail above the French line??? The staff were not friendly, and when I expressed that I wasn’t satisfied and asked for reshaping I was told that I should know everyone has their own way of doing nails. Yes, they do, but you would hope one would know the basics of hygiene as well as doing a simple French polish. I’d rather pay a few more dollars for a better result. Again, I highly recommend not going to this place. I’d be happier with my broken nail than what I received an hour ago.
Great experience. I did a french tip with silver gems for my birthday. She was very kind, thorough, and quick.
Went here on a limb from my own google maps search. I wanted an affordable place that could execute the design I wanted. Here at Elegant Nails, I found it! I got a mani (polygel set) and pedi. Michele did my polygel set and she was so nice, charismatic, and professional. She is very experienced and cares about her customers’ experience.
This place is an absolute scam. Came in for a pedicure with my partner and they sped through our pedicure within 13 minutes. $70 later I have literally never felt so ripped off. Do not go here, find somewhere else. Ps, the made 2 of my toes bleed.
I paid about $90 for a horrible gel mani & pedi. Not complaining about the price, but service was horrible. Started with the pedicure. Before he started I told him I had band aids. He said “okay okay okay” yet continues to press on the band aids. He didn’t even give me the chance to even tell him I didn’t want him to touch my legs. My wounds are still fresh & I am in a lot of pain. Next comes the manicure. I showed him a picture of the design I wanted as soon as I sat down. He says “okay okay” yet doesn’t deliver the design. He tried, but failed & says sorry. I asked him if anyone else can do it. He doesn’t understand so I ask him again. He calls the “owner” I don’t even know what he said to her. Hangs up & is yelling, calling for someone else to come. I showed her the design (one evil eye on the ring finger) & she shows me some snowflake stickers & says it’ll be free. Side note: it’s November. I asked her if I could find a simpler design because my nails are literally a clear color. She also says okay & then leaves to attend another customer. I pulled up a picture of some very simple stars & asked for gold, the original guy says ok & then starts to paint my nails black? I ended up saying it’s ok I don’t want a design. Going to check out now.. I paid with card. I was wearing my jacket & then was going to get cash but he tells me “tip in cash or card” so I felt obligated to tip on card. I felt so horrible & low. My nails & cuticles feel so dry. There’s polish all over my skin. Yet I was still going to tip in cash, but he demanded it? What I don’t understand is why he would agree to a design he knew he couldn’t do. I traveled 45 minutes for the worst nail experience ever.
Michelle is amazing. I travel a half hour to get my nails done by her the last year and every time I’m not disappointed. I’ll show her some inspiration and she’ll create some beautiful pieces of art every time. These bad reviews are not a representation of the work she does. She Carries her whole business all by herself. Yes a Tik Tok that goes viral is sometimes great for business but when the business is not set up for all of a sudden a huge surge of people and business for her to maintain. Especially after opening her business during the pandemic. Think before you leave a negative review, on the impact that has on a small business. Always book Michelle, have some patience and understanding. If you’re not happy because you booked someone else then understand why. Sometimes at small businesses such as these there’s only one person that has the real talent to create beautiful nails. I will continue to go back to her as finding someone this talented with a great price is hard to come by in Manhattan. As is for her to find workers to do the same. That takes time. Thank you Michelle for always making me look flawless and bringing my nail dreams to life. You’re one of the best nail technicians I’ve ever had and constantly consistent. Can’t wait for your business to grow into something special however long that may take. I see you Mumma bear taking care of the family and your kids and going out on your own and in a few years time can’t wait to see where you’ll be. Love your number one fan xx
Worst manicure I’ve ever gotten. The salon was running over 30 minutes late, but the technicians were very sweet so I still gave it a chance. Had seen great reviews on tiktok, but was more than dissatisfied with my experience. Cuticles were cut to the point of bleeding, service was rushed, and gel manicure was poorly done. Nails cut too short, painful, and uneven polish. Salon was not sanitary, table was covered in nail clippings from the previous client and tools were not properly sterilized. Not sure how to inquire for a refund but please do not listen to tiktok on this place.
I frequent Elegant Nails often, probably have been coming here since moving to the city three years ago. Unfortunately, after my visit today I will not be returning. First, the prices for the same service such as a Gel X manicure and toe polish change changed (increased) each time I went. I got over that as I really liked how Michelle did my manicure. The last three times I have come, I had made appointments prior to coming to avoid wait times at the salon. Each appointment is ignored and they claim it’s because more people come in for the same service which backs up the sequence. It’s alarming they do not call you to let you know they’re behind as they take your information when you book an appointment. Instead, they ask you to wait and turn on the massage chair. No wait times given. No discount. No nothing. Then, the staff is rude and condescending.I’d highly recommend avoiding this salon. There are plenty of other options in the area, all for the same price. If you do go here, don’t bother making an appointment as it means absolutely nothing.
Gave a cash tip instead of putting it on the card. I got a dip manicure for $54 but my credit card was charged $65 so an additional tip was added on not by myself.
Went to get my acrylics removed. was given a bowl of warm water and nail remover to soak for an hour. Left to my own devices, filed and buffed my nails myself. Only given cream and nail oil drops and then charged $15. unprofessional and useless.
Just tried Elegant Nails for the first time today. I had the best experience with Susie. I got dip powder with tips in under an hour. Great location! Will absolutely be going back. If you’re in NYC, check them out!!
Love a pedi station that has a massage chair. Service was great, and easy to book online.
The lady I had told me I needed to tip her 20% and said my tip wasn’t enough. Sooo weird that’s never happened to me before
First of all, when I came in for my appointment, my nail tech said that it would just be another few minutes, which turned into an hour long wait. Then, she was extremely rough when filing my nails, and now I’m sore. Then, I got gel polish. She took my nails out of the blue light SUPER EARLY (she rushed through everything), and then the gel polish came off the next day in the shower. Gel polish that I payed $20 extra for!!!! Maybe if they wouldn’t have rushed so much, my experience would have been better. Never going back here!!!!! Don’t listen to the other reviews, it is absolutely garbage for the price.
Iwas today it was not good at all...and if you have any proble they dont care...ther is no manager nothing
I’ve been here twice now and I can’t wait to go back this week!! I believe it’s Amy that does my nails and she always does an incredible job. It’s hard to find a nail place in the city that I like.
Absolutely rushed through my pedicure. The leg scrub and lotion aspect (best part) lasted all of 30 seconds... then she sent me to the dryer without putting on a topcoat. I got home and finished my own pedicure, putting on a topcoat myself. Cmon now
Went for this cat eye effect thing; I didn’t express my concern to be fair, but hate the shape, too thick and rushed, could of been way more precise and they barely if even cut my cuticles. Payed $100 for something I usually pay 70 topssssss for :(
If I could give a 0 I would. Came from tik tok and thought I had no expectations, my experience was horrible! I legit wanted to cry leaving, the workers are rude. The lady drilled me so hard my finger burned and once I told her she just grabbed my hand and continued as if I was being dramatic… the hell? And then they charged me $21 to do a soak off when it shows it’s only $10 on the poster they go “oh that’s only if you get a manicure as well”…. Just lied. Then I said okay I can do a manicure with regular polish, they said no we don’t do that. Just rude and unprofessional and nasty attitude. I would never step foot in this dump again
They are the most unprofessional business. I made an appointment directly with the owner (Michelle) a month in advance because I was going to be traveling. At the day/time of my appointment it was apparent that they never had me down for that day. I thought by making appointment is the most efficient way to get your services and a MONTH before. They did nothing to resolve the issue and told me to go somewhere else. They treated me as if I was lying about my appointment. I had to show her a call log with their number to show PROOF I had called. I had travel from QUEENS which takes about 1.5 hours. It seems like they blew up through TikTok and they have enough customers so they are treating people with ZERO care and liability. Super disappointed. To the TIKTOK girlies I don’t know what they are giving you to be their “influencers” but this business is NOT IT. I will not be doing any business with them, NOT even a free pedicure.
Had to wait like 45 minutes- people were so rude … so many other salons
I have been going to Elegant Nails for about 6 months and I have nothing but amazing things to say about everyone here, especially the owner Michelle!! I have been getting acrylic nails for almost 8 years and I have never found someone who can do a better job than Michelle! There pedicures are amazing, the manicures last forever and overall it is such a great experience every time I go. You have to try Elegant Nails if you need a nail salon in NYC!
Scam city yall. $32 (plus tip) for an 8 minute pedicure. Would not recommend.
I walked in and explicitly stated I was going to get the $38 gel and soak off package. The man did my nails but then started adding services to my appointment like a massage and a cuticle treatment without even telling me. Example, just went straight for the massage without warning. I then got charged for it and he asked for a tip after. I did tip, but I have to admit it wasn’t great because I came in fully expecting to get just the $38 but I got charged $57 at the end. The total would’ve included the tip if services I didn’t ask for were just added without asking. The nails unfortunately chipped a week later also.Edit: So my mistake for not taking the chrome powder into account. However, it still doesn’t take away the fact my nails chipped a week later and my nails just overall looked undone and crusty in that short period of a time. And yes. The man literally looked at the reciept, pointed at the tip line, and asked me for the tip. I don’t appreciate the answers gaslighting not just me in the reviews about staff not demanding for tips. He also scowled at my tip amount too.
Highly recommended, great work and great prices!!
Michelle did a great job on my nails. It was fast and well done. I will definitely return!
Michelle is the best! Ive been going here for a year and my nails always look perfect. Definitely worth going.
Attention to detail was seriously lacking. Does not seem hygienic either
Super fast! I walked in with an online reservation and they say is better if you call to secure your spot. I went in for a simple gel mani and pedi, I am happy with both services! Thank you Mei
If I could give 0 stars I would , first I come in and get stares from the whole staff next I asked for a off white color and they put the ugliest nail polish color on my pedicure, then when I was getting my nails done it was so sloppy the quality of the work was below average and when I was walking out one of the workers called out to give me a card and the owner scolded her not to call me when I was nothing but pleasant disregarding the HORIBLE service I recieved they are colorist and dont apreaciate clients of color HORIBLE place ! Also it was so espensive hate it here 0/10
Been coming to this salon for over a year and FINALLY reached the 400 points to get a free pedicure. I was in 2 weeks ago and that was the policy. Today i came in for my free pedicure only to find out after it was done that they changed the policy to 600 points (which is $600 spent at the salon). Disappointed they couldn’t honor the old system and $600 is a crazy amount to spend in order to get a $30 (below average) service. Very disappointed. :(
I have been here multiple times, and I walk almost 45 minutes to this salon because my nails last so long. However, I will not be returning because every time I go I don’t get helped until an hour after my appointment which is absurd. I always get dip powder and I am aware it takes awhile to remove. I have gotten probably 100 dip manicures and it takes max 15 mins to remove. Here they make you sit there for 45 mins soaking your nails in a bowl of acetone. My appointment was at 6 pm and I left at 8 pm for a dip mani. I should not have to sit there for 2 hours for a single service. In addition, there were multiple girls waiting after me and complaining as well, so I could tell the woman helping me was rushing and did a sloppy job on my nails.
One of the best place to get your nails done in nyc. Reasonable price with super nice and detail oriented nail technicians. Highly recommended
I was so pleased with the nails Michele did. She actually cared enough about the health of my nails to suggest poly gel instead of acrylic. She charged me the same as an acrylic set and gave me a discount on top of that. I will be going to Michele again for all of my nail needs. Sorry for the blurry photo!
The best acrylics in nyc!! :)
I had a 2 o clock appointment for a pedicure and sns manicure. After getting my toes done, the technician started to do my manicure, but had a client call her in the middle and asked to walk in. Once this client walked in the technician stopped doing my nails mid way through to go to the walk-in and do her nails instead. I was waiting for 30 minutes for anyone to even pay attention to the fact that someone stopped doing my nails midway through because someone more important walked in last minute. Once someone finally got around to finishing my nails she did such a sloppy job and made my nails bleed. Avoid this place at all costs. Worst customer service. It was my first time going here and definitely my last.
The staff was kind and they provided a great service!
Can in here to do my nails, asked for a regular gel manicure. The women who did my nailed was in such a rush the whole process took 15 minutes. The women cut 2 of my fingers and keep spraying alcohol on it which made it worst. The actual manicure looks horrible. My nail is not fully painted and there lumpy. My nails look like a 5 year old did them and I wasted 38 dollars on them. After 2 days the polish started to come off. Would not recommend a manicure from this place
I saw this place on tik tok and was so excited, I would never ever recommend this place to a friend! My nail tech did almost no nail prep, didnt even trim my cuticles. The entire time she kept trying to upsell me to gel extensions when I clearly said no, didnt know what a coffin shape was (I had to literally cut my own nails), didnt realize I also spoke mandarin and complained to the other techs that the color and shape I wanted was not suiting me and that I was being difficult and then begged me for a tip afterwards. In addition to that the gel is already lifting and I got this done 5 days ago! While I was there I saw multiple girls leave because they had been waiting 30-40 minutes with no service.
Anna is the best!! She’s been my go-to lady for years :) Excellent work always.
Specifically went here after reading reviews to splurge on myself while on vacation. everything went wrong and it was all expensive. my special spa pedicure was given by someone who didnt know what it included. not relaxing. the place was busy so i didnt complain. move on to my gel manicure- it was completely rushed and i didnt like the color once it was on my nails, but since they were about to close she didnt even offer to change it after i said i didnt like it. we had been there 1.5hrs+ by then. left spending waaaaay too much money on extremely mediocre/rushed work.
Made an appointment for a gel manicure and was left waiting with my hands soaking for a full hour while the staff took walk-ins and people with later appointments ahead of me. By the time someone came over, manicure was very rushed and sloppy. Was certainly not worth my time or money and I will be trying one of the other many options in the area next time.
I made an appointment a week in advance, called to confirm the day of. Sat in the salon for 20 minutes before I was told it would be another 15 minutes until they would take me. They couldn’t care less that this was rude or such a waste of my time since I dont live close. Would give 0 stars if I could, never have I been treated so rudely in a salon before.
Came to get my eyebrows done on my lunch break. I was seen immediately and received amazing service from Sunny. Bring cash to avoid a fee for card which she made me aware of :)
1st thing you need to know is.. Youll be forced to pay tip.Happened to stumble upon this place walking down the street and my wife and I needed a basic mani/pedi. The price seemed reasonable so we stopped in.Where do I start... The greeting was not welcoming. The process was rushed and the results were not good. For anyone expecting details to be cared about - this is not the place. Rushed work is not a good look. To make matters worse once we paid they had the audacity to tell us that we had to tip.Why would I pay a tip for a service that I was completely unhappy with, even after telling you. Nothing was done to make the service better they simply insisted that we had to tip at least 15%.Never again.
I’ve lived in the village my whole life and I’ve been getting my nails done at Elegant for about 15 years! I always recommend this spot for anyone looking for a nail salon.
This place is terrible. The absolute worst pedicures we have ever received. (Lack there of) I paid $50 for two polish changes. Did not scrub our feet, barely cut or clean up our toe nails . Literally 2 second massage. Extremely unhappy with this service. The ladies were also not friendly and rudely asked for tipped. It was ridiculous. Of course I’m nice and tipped anyway but they will never get my business again. I will make sure to let everyone know how bad this place is. The worst pedicure in New York City !
It’s a no for me. They don’t wrap to soak for SNS. You just put your finger tips in a bowl of hot acetone. It was just a very messy situation and It shouldn’t take 2.5hrs to get SNS done
This is a review for a massage only. Tina gave an unbelievably good massage. I regularly hop into nail salons for a 10 min massage when I need one and this was by far the best (you can find the worst a block down at Look). Will definitely be back.
I got a great, quick pedicure in a convenient location for a reasonable price. And who doesnt love a massage chair?!
They do it so well!! Michelle and Leo were so nice, I highly recommended this spot!
Terrible place, same price as “think pink” literally 4 blocks up on 6th, and way less quality of manicure/pedicure and cleanliness. The place doesn’t look clean, the guy doing my nails used a dirty towel and forgot to cut my culticals. Because I’m a fair person I paid the bill despite the quality but won’t be coming again.
Great! And under an hour
New owners! :( I had been going to Elegant for over 8 years. The staff were all so kind and like family. Unfortunately, the old owners have retired and there is new management in place. What was once a clean and peaceful oasis now feels dirty and hectic. The new owner is also rude to customers and the old staff. I witnessed this firsthand when the owner was going to take some of the tip I had given to my manacurist as a charge for my quick dry. I was so sad and disappointed to see the greedy owner try to take money from the hardworking staff. He should be ashamed. I will unfortunately not be going back.
Fantastic spot! Great manicures and pedicures that last a long time. Staff is great too!
Very professional. Michelle really listens to you. She actually cares and does exactly what you want. I love how my nails came out and would definitely love to come back.
I went here with my mom for a simple pedicure and it was fantastic. They had great service, awesome staff, and made us feel super comfortable. I would definitely come back here and 10/10 would recommend.
Nails came out great ! She took her time and I didn’t feel rushed at all. Would come again
They saw me before my appointment, which was nice, but my gel manicure chipped after less than 24 hours without any strenuous activity. Waste of $34 + tip. Go somewhere else.
