I’ve been here twice now for a dip manicure - they have no technique. They don’t use a base coat, they use three layers, then they don’t do a sealed gel top coat, but rather a layer of normal nail polish. Aka, they chipped, shattered, and all my nails broke in a few days. A week later, and I’m literally embarrassed to show my hands. Won’t be back

First time here. Nice staff. Called hour before for mani pedi. Got a girl name Antonia and she was good. All done in 55mins. Paid card and tipped in cash.’

Stopped in at opening with no appointment. They were able to do the two kids manicures for us even with only one person in the salon and an appointment coming up. Kids were eager for a special treat and appreciate the accommodations to make their day.I want to come back for my nails ! Tons of options and space feels good. Just make an appointment if you can.

I have been going here regularly for 5 years now and I love it! They run off appointments and are always on time. They don’t overbook and make you wait like other places. All of the nail techs do a great job! They also offer a frequent punch card. There is also a great masseuse who will do massages while you get your nails done.

Best manicure I’ve ever had!! I love how they look, very detail oriented and perfect. Great customer service, care, and price. Can’t wait to go back.

Spoke to Donna about how my powder chipped and cracked within 1 week on vacation and showed her pictures of it destroyed at the 2 week mark. She refused to believe me and said my pics weren’t recent enough and that I didn’t treat my nails well. I explained how careful I was with them but she simply wouldn’t believe me and said “no one knows.” She said I should go to a different salon with different powder next time. I am surprised that after going to QQ for 2 years and recommending my friends here, that there was no apology for the poorly done powder and that I was still charged for the soak off of the cracked powder.Also, for the appointment where I got the badly done powder, I made my appointment with a specific technician and when I came for my appointment, they weren’t in. I then asked the new tech to do an ombré design and she wasn’t able to do it.2 back to back disappointing QQ experiences. Time for a new salon.

Lovely space and staff. I still cant believe how fast and precise my gel manicure was; Rosa is on another level. 🙌

Alex is one of the best massage therapists I have ever had. I have been seeing him for years. 90 minutes of extraordinary relaxation, muscle pressure, accuracy and strength. He finds the knots, improves blood flow, works the issue and alleviates. I ALWAYS sleep soundly the night of the massage!!!…A special find - he offers chair and full body 30/60 or 90 mins. Take it all off and lie back. You’ll think you’re at Berkshire or Arizona spa! Thank you Alex. All my best, Michael.

Came here for the first time using ClassPass credits and had a great experience! Amy did my nails and she was very sweet and did a wonderful job! I love how they turned out and will definitely be back.

Came with my friend for a pedicure, enjoyed it very much. Salon is clean, bright and relaxing. The staff is friendly, patient and flexible. We ended up requesting manicures and they accommodated us. Fairly priced for an NYC salon. Fantastic manicure by Maria!! Feeling glam.

Ive been coming here for months, and Im consistently happy with the results and service. Pictured are my nails, 2 weeks after getting them done. I always get a gel manicure, and it always lasts much longer than I expect! Many color selections for gel, and they also offer massage and waxing. However, I would be sure to check their rush hours. They do plenty of walk-ins, but on two occasions they were too busy to take me. Easily avoidable if you call and make an appointment, or come in when its slower. Either way, its never been a problem for me.

Came here for the first time yesterday 6/15 for a gel manicure from ClassPass. The staff was kind and they were flexible with scheduling, but the gel manicure lasted around 24 hours :( now one has already chipped. The gel is also very thin.

Maria is fabulous. The whole vibe of QQ is serene and professional. I’ve been going to the Chelsea location for several years.

The place was nice, clean, and fast, very detailed with my request. I dont give 5 start because I think it was a bit pricy...overall good experience i would recommend the place. Tina, the tenichian, was very nice and on point with the design

If you need some body work/deep tissue massage then Alex Chen at QQ is your guy. I work out and run 5 times a week and my body is often broken down when I go to Alex and he always brings it back to life. This place isn’t fancy, but he really takes care of your muscles. Make sure you drink lots of water after so your body has time to recover post massage

I went to this spa for the first time today on a recommendation from a friend. Its clean and quiet, with a calming vibe. Reasonably priced, I had a spa Pedi (includes a 15 min massage) and power dipped Mani which came to $125 before tip. Helen was lovely, Id recommend asking for her, I was able to book her online, she was very gentle and did a perfect job at shaping my nails! Ill definitely be back.

Been looking for a regular nail salon and I’ve definitely found it! They do take walk ins, however I booked a same-day appointment online. I had an amazing experience today, from the moment I sat down to the moment I left. While my manicure dried, I got really lovely neck/back and hand massages (literally felt like I was about to fall asleep lol.) Last and most importantly, my nails look absolutely incredible!! I love how they turned out! I love this place enough to commute from way uptown 🤗6/24/22 EDIT: Ive added a photo of a GORGEOUS manicure by Lin (the purple swirls) --shes amazing!! I showed her an inspiration picture, and hers looks 10x better than the inspo pic. I also got one of the special pedis (the vitamin c one - cant remember what its called), which was lovely, and a 10 minute neck/shoulder massage. I left feeling incredibly pampered and relaxed.

Clean, very nice inside, good customer service. Prices are a bit higher then I’m used too. But they did their best.

I got my nails done (gel mani) last sunday 6/25 but it got chipped already :( The gel is so thin and just fell off like that, I didnt even try to peel them off. Very disappointed at the quality.

Been coming to this spa for 6 years and they never dissapoint. Very nice and accomodating and they do quality work! This time around Candy did the most beautiful chrome nails on me. I showed her my inspo picture and they came out exactly the same.

I LOVE this nail salon! I travel from Brooklyn just to have my nails and eye brows done. Amy does my pedicure and Melissa on my nails... every time! You will not be disappointed. Your treated with respect, your not rushed because they are looking or waiting for the next customer, booking an appointment by phone or their website is quick and easy!

Idk why it took them 2 hours to do such a horrible job. I have to ask them 3 times to change shape and after that it was still all cricket and u had to do it my self 🙄 so much for $100 service.There is still space between my real nail and gel.Very sloppy job, stuff is not friendly and act like they are giving you a favor

I got a Japanese gel manicure on November 30, which cost $20 more and is promoted as being stronger and lasting longer and by December 8, it had chipped on one nail and my other nail is broken and will need to be cut. Also, the nail tech cut to deep into my cuticle causing a wound

Second terrible experience at the salon. My manicurist Tika basically ripped my cuticles off. Photo shown is the day after a mani/pedi and my torn up cuticles, crispy polish on the edges and chipping - waste of money. Bad quality.

Gel Mani - $40 including gel removal. Ganga was very kind and helped advise me on color selection. She did a great job and gave a great massage after my mani. Affordable and cute spot. Will definitely be coming back here

Usually do a pretty good job. Not the best at shaping SNS powder nails though. Had to go home and smooth them out and file to get the shape I asked for and reapply a matte top coat.

UPDATE: I responded but never heard from them again.UPDATE: I accept, with thanks, once my toenails have grown out enough to be evened - Ive been twice before and got great pedicures. Please give me a more experienced person next time, and take the time to do it right. A pedicure is a treat, it should feel like it.QQ, I have sent a note on insta.FIRST: Did not even bother to look at both feet at the same time, cut the big toe nails *completely different lengths, way too short and way too long respectively, sawed at my toes with the edge of the file - I walked out before she could do any more damage.

Nice, clean spa with welcoming staff that does a nice job with manicures, pedicures and massages. Reasonable price and I definitely will return.

I waited for 40 minutes before I was even seated for my appointment. Also they missed a lot of stray eyebrow hair with my waxing. And the “acrylic” manicure isn’t acrylic it’s a uv gel. Which if I had known that before booking I wouldn’t have gone there because that wasn’t what I was looking for. The staff was really nice though but all my evening plans were cancelled because they took so so so long. :( I don’t usually leave bad reviews but the experience really sucked

Such a great nail salon! They were so courteous, professional, and kind. I had a mani/pedi and the results have lasted beautifully so far, standing up to the wear and tear of my business trip in Manhattan. I highly recommend QQ Nails for a great nail salon experience in Chelsea.

First time going here and I was pleasantly surprised! I’m incredibly meticulous when it comes to my nails and was greeted with excellent customer service to compliment my neatly done gel manicure! My cuticles were cleaned to perfection and I was given water and free massage all at a reasonable price. This will be my go to nail spot. So happy I found this place right around the corner from my job! Ivy was wonderful.

Friendly and professional staff. The place is clean. Great for regular nail polish but they do upcharge on everything. If you need dip powder nail polish it is not worth it, they charge aboveboard rate and it won’t last you you’re better off getting a regular manicure. I typically get gel powder and it lasts me about two weeks, while their polish looked great for the first two days then it started to chip off which is frustrating- I believe it stems to the fact that they didn’t fully paint the edges of my nails and they only do 2 coats. Regardless unless I need a regular pedicure and will not be returning.

Love this place. Got a gel manicure and Lin was so attentive, my nails turned out beautiful.My friend got a massage and enjoyed it so much he got a package.This is our new regular spot.

I have to say, I’ve been looking for a nail place that has good prices but is also clean and nice and this is it! I love how you’re treated at this salon, they really check on you to make sure you’re okay. The lady even double checked my pedicure before she let me put my shoes back on. Their facility is clean and they just got new massage chairs. I like the music they play and they offer a discount if it’s your birthday week. Also have a loyalty program which is cool because nails are a recurring need to fufill!

Loved my experience. The customer service was great. The one thing I wasnt pleased about is that they charged an extra $5 for Essie nail polish. That should be included. Its the norm. Most nail salons use good quality nail polish. Aside from that, really liked the attention to detail. Will be returning!

Paid $88 for a dip with extension manicure. Was FORCED to tip $15 on top of that against my will, making my total $103. (Was not allowed to leave unless tip was given) Nail cracked that night. I live hours away, can never return to even think about getting it fixed. So absolutely disappointed by the rude staff and the quality of nails.

Never wrote a review before but thought this was necessary. I’ve never been more disrespected while getting my nails done.. I’m a college student who needed to get her nails done for a special event, and got a stern talking to about tipping when I only tipped 5 dollars. The lady at the front desk made me feel bad for not giving enough money so I ended up giving her 10$.. The lady who did my nails came up to me while nails are drying and whispers in my ear “thank you, and now you know.”. Wouldn’t recommend going there no matter how bad you need to get your nails done. Good thing nyc has tons of nice nail salons to choose from!

I am so in love with nails, i cant wait to come back for another session. Very good, i enjoyed every bit of my session. Nice atmosphere as well and their prices are reasonable.

My absolute favorite nail salon. Clean, professional, efficient and quick service. They have a large selection of 7-day extended wear polishes. They offer complimentary lemon water to their patrons. You will feel like youre being pampered without being in an uptight or overly fancy atmosphere.

I hate posting negative reviews, but I got a gel manicure here last week and the next day my thumb nail chipped and today 1/4 of the polish on my index finger is gone. Gels should last two weeks easily, and good ones can last even longer. So, thats to say that I had a really shoddy gel manicure done here, and its comparably priced to other spots in the city so I would recommend looking for a different spot.

Favorite nail salon in NY. Nancy and Andy are perfectionist. I suggest always making an appointment because they do get busy. I also recommend the foot scrub when you get a pedicure! It really does the trick. My acrylic nails are always as thin as natural and never break. I love this place so much, here every three weeks for my fill.

Very good service and neatly done Mani and pedis. When to this place at different times of the day and got Mani pedis with different people and loved it every time. Very clean and spacious as well. The last time I also got the 10min massage while petting Manicure and it felt so relaxing. This is my go to place now!

Do NOT waste your money here! I got a gel manicure (which are supposed to last 2-3 weeks) on Wednesday and the second day my nails started chipping. And now today, which is Sunday (only four days later) it is almost completely chipped off from four fingers. This was the biggest waste of money. If I wanted nail polish that was only going to last three days I would have done it myself for free at home. I have been to places that charge only $35 and do a Far better job. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. This was the worst gel manicure I have ever had.

Donna Chan was very rude and unprofessional to me and did not give me the treatment I deserved the first time she serviced me nor did she give me her best follow up effort the second time I had to go back within the same week. I asked her to call her manager but she began to walk away and secretly have conversation with whomever she conversed with and gave me no chance to speak to that person. Thereafter, she gave me a phone number, I called 6 times and no one answered. I feel discriminated against and retribution will be sought if I am not equitably given free services at QQ nail & spa.

Great service. The technicians are thorough with their services and Ive had some of my longest lasting manicures from here. They also offer a free 2 minute massage and hot tea. Would definitely recommend

UPDATE: I have now had to remove all my acrylic nails due to the fact they have given me an infection. Ive had nails for years and never had this occur. Save your nails and your money. Do not go hereThis salon does not have the equipment, experience or the training to be doing infills. On multiple occasions I had to correct the asymmetrical nails and advise her she was actually drawing blood. No idea what a coffin shape was and cost nearly double what I pay normally and took triple the amount of time. Not because the place was busy, there were 8 staff doing absolutely nothing.This is the worst nail experience I have had in my life.

I went there three times. The first time was ok. After the second visit, my nails started breaking really bad. Third time I got the worst manicure I’ve ever had! Even though this place in a convenient location, I am not going back.

Mani and Pedi all under an hour done with an amazing job. They didnt know I was under a time crunch. And I didnt want to rush them for fear that my nails would be messed up. But 50 minutes later I had stellar nails. 10 MINUTES later my nails were completely dry.

QQ nails is the best in Chelsea, I lived there for a year and came to Rosa every 3-4 weeks for dip powder and a pedicure. She will not let you leave without looking perfect. Highly recommend Rosa!!

Nice, clean, and spacious. Yoyo did a great job with my SNS powder dip. After trying countless nail salons with techs that didnt know what they were doing, Id almost given up hope. Im very happy and will be visiting again, in the future.

Always a problem checking in. Nail techs are pretty good but only if you can get in. I always make an appointment to go thinking it would secure my visit. But many times I have been turned away because they were full or understaffed. Why take an appointment then?!?! Terribly disappointing when you were counting on a manicure.

At first, I was not sure about going in to get my back taken care of but after much convincing from friend who had received the same service, I decided to book an appointment. I was well attended to by a skilled technician who did a good job.

They were great! Took awhile to remove my acrylics, but it was worth the wait, because they were diligent about making sure my gel was smooth and the massage during manicure was AWESOME!

Clean place, friendly staff. I got a pedicure and I love the result. I just thought the lady that did my toes rushed a bit and was a tad aggressive which I didnt get bc there was no one waiting and there were plenty of staff there in case someone walked in. Otherwise it was a good experience and I would go back.

Yoyo did my pedicure. The place wasnt busy, but she was in such a rush, she dropped/banged my feet at times, kept dropping dirty paper towels in the water, and I practically had to beg to see one color on a nail to quickly decide between two polishes. No sooner than wed finished (my feet werent properly under the fan yet) and she was standing over me with a checkbook asking for payment. I gave my credit card and before I could say a word- she asked me if tip would be on card. I said yes and she asked me how much. I told her Id pull up a tip calculator (since I hadnt even had a bill in hand!) and she literally stood over me glaring as I pulled it up and wrote it. I did upcharge services and gave a 19% tip, but it felt very uncomfortable. Throughout the visit, I was kind and respectful, so she had no legitimate reason to think I wouldnt pay/tip well. Couldve been racial- I dont know. Pedicure looks good, but it was a really bad spa experience. Go with someone else. (I did tell the receptionist and she was kind and said sorry)

I specifically booked a male tech for an hour foot massage weeks before my appointment (you choose the day and tech) the day before they called and said he wasnt working and they assigned another man. When I got there they again switched and all of the sudden I had a woman who worse gloves the whole time. An hour foot massage given by someone who wears gloves is ridiculous and painful! I wont go back again.

Great prices. They have weekly specials. Clean. Spacious. Lots of nail color choices. Friendly staff. I even got a free shoulder massage. Im definitely going back!!

Went for my first mani-pedi and was treated l like a princess. Ask for Max. He is there 6 days a week. He is a true artist. Its been 3 weeks and my gel manicure has not chipped.

Went there for a gel mani and pedi. Rather expensive for the service... Quick and efficient, this salon offers great last-minute booking options thanks to the high number of busy bees nail beautycians. Don’t go there for personalized service or high level of finishing touches though... Quick and efficient, not cosy not intimate - it all depends on your preference.

I made an appointment like a week in advance and was running 5 minutes late so I called to let them know, and they said no problem. But when I got there, there was only one woman working and she acted like she had no idea what I was talking about and said the wait would be 30 minutes. Will not come back here.

Set up a surprise appointment for my girlfriend as she needed a little pick me up after a long week. Now she cannot wait to go back as she was well attended to and she also liked the environment.

I enjoy going to this establishment, but as of recent, the service has stopped and the technicians seem like they pick and choose who they want to serve. Theyre ladies who are answering the phone and who dont speak English well and let you know someone will call back and they never do.

It was my second time here and they did not disappoint. As the last time, the place was clean, service was good and I did like the products they used. Overall, it was a nice visit.
