I’m obsessed with this place, it has such good energy and very reasonably priced. You can tell that service is #1 priority in everything they do. The owner is so genuinely interested in his clients and it shows in the team as well. This is the first place that offers the vegan dazzle dry polish and I’ve found it’s less harsh on my nails and lasts just as long as a gel mani. Today I had Mercedes who was amazing. She was meticulous with everything she did and gave the BEST arm massage. I mentioned how much I loved the nail color of the woman who rang me up and she was so helpful showing me the color and said she’d make a note of it for my next visit. That is service on another level.Huge fan. Also… the music is ALWAYS on point.Highly recommend this place to anyone! 10/10

I’ve been coming here for a couple of months consecutively and I love it. The service is great and all the employees are super attentive. I currently book with Ana who is amazing and very detail oriented. I think she knows what I want better than I do. I never leave here disappointed or dissatisfied as I have at other nail salons. Love love loveeee this nail salon!

If you’re reading this just know I am an extremely picky person who values customer service, kindness, great atmosphere and great energy and of course a perfect manicure. I’ve been to the top nail salons in the city and Tomy is definitely on the top of my list. This Salon could easily be located in Tribeca or Soho due to how the shop is run and the service they provide. I love it when Ashley greets me at the door (I know is going to be a good day) she is always attentive to the clients needs. Ana, my nail stylist is always knowledgeable on the latest trends, colors and techniques. You can’t go wrong by choosing Tomy, you get a perfect manicure and pedicure every time. Best of all my manicures can last up to a month. Don’t hesitate on booking an appointment, just go.

Ive been going here for the past 2 years now and am grateful after every visit! I was hesitant to try another nail salon as my nails were finally recovering from a horrible extension removal experience from a salon in the neighborhood, but a friend made the recommendation so I gave it a shot & havent looked back since.Tomy elevates the typical chaotic, loud and fast-paced nail salon experience to a peaceful & calming spa experience. The salon is a small, clean, vibrant and inviting space. The house rules are for everyones benefit & create a safe and relaxing space for all. The staff are professional and helpful, giving you quality care and attention throughout your visit.The prices are slightly more than others in the neighborhood, but reflect the quality of work, care and attention that the techs put in. You truly get what you pay for, and its worth every penny. I also appreciate the price transparency here; everything is itemized and clear.I typically opt for the Apres X extensions with designs (they are very durable & last 4-6 weeks tho 6 is pushing it bc of nail growth), the occasional pedicure (Ive tried the regular, spa and jelly), and regular polish manis between Apres applications to give my nail beds a break. Each time I leave the salon content, confident and refreshed! 10/10 recommend.

This place is perfect. They always bring my crazy nail design ideas to life (shoutout to my girl Alexia). Love the staff and Tomy they will make you feel right at home. I travel from NJ to see them.

I am not from NYC however found this wonderful location in the midst of Washington heights . Cleanliness 10/10. The staff 10/10. Products used 10/10. Seating 9/10. (Just because I prefer to be more reclined ) However, comfortable & cute seating. Organization 10/10. I would recommend this establishment. And their location hours are very convenient. Communication 10/10. Jennifer was outstanding and very professional. Will be visiting again on my trips back to NYC. Worth your money. Going into my second week since my gel maní & pedi and gel is still intact.

Atmosphere is good, everything wireless, no dust fumes. Had an appointment for 12p. It started at 12:20. Nails where done by 1:30 unfortunately I wanted 4 nails with design which I had to wait for another person to do, $8 design per nail. Not worth the expensive price total of $137 apres short and design. Time finishe 2:20p

Most detailed, attentive, and relaxing manicure I’ve ever gotten! They go above and beyond to make the experience relaxing and 5 stars, warm moisturizer, 2 hand massages, and impecable detail when applying the manicure. I hope this business continues to flourish, I’m so appreciative of their attentiveness and beautiful job on my nails.

Loved my experience here. Such a much needed upgrade from the typical nail salons you find in The Heights. Professional staff, clean space, and chill background music that helps you relax from a long day. I especially appreciate their no phone calls policy. They ask you to wash your hands before starting your service. Carmen was my nail tech and it was the first time Ive ever had my nails done that the person followed my requests and shaped my nails with such attention to detail. I will definitely be back as a regular customer!

I’ve been coming here for a few years now and am in love with my nails EVERY time!!!! The environment is unmatched. The salon is so clean/sanitary and everyone is always so welcoming and friendly. Most recently I got red SNS with chrome on top and I am obsessed. Alexia did my nails and she left me speechless with them! Can’t recommend them enough!!

The service i got Was a pedicure, great price also worth it! Very patient and friendly and she did my toes just how i like Them! I also got a massage and hot stone treatment I will Definitely recommend to friends and family and will be coming back! More then 5 stars!

So I’ve lived in the neighborhood a long time but have only recently visited this place - they were able to take me in as a walk-in, which was great, and overall I loved the experience and the staff there. My only complaint is the seating at the drying station is very uncomfortable as it is high stools with no back and you have to sit a little awkwardly to dry your toes. But I’m also old and hate stools without backs so there’s that. But again, overall a great experience and I will be back!

I have been a customer for 2 years and have always had a good experience. But this morning I went, the shop was full and the girl who served me was too hasty, in fact next to me there was another lady who was doing the same job and when I came out she hadnt finished yet. I later realized that the work wasnt perfect. It will break soon. Too bad I dont have time to come back and ask to do it again.

The best nail salon Ive ever been to. Amazing staff, great services, very professional and clean. With a touch of luxury to make a regular pedi appointment feel like a treat. This is the only place I go to even though I no longer live in the area.

These guys are the absolute real deal! The level of hospitality, kindness and attention to detail is unlike any other nail salon i’ve been to in NYC. I had an amazing experience at Tomy Rivero Beauty Lab Nail Salon! It was my first time ever going so I was a bit nervous but I was pleasantly surprised! Fernanda was absolutely amazing. I showed her a reference photo of what I wanted and she did just that and more. Super happy with how mynails came out and will be back!!!

I am so happy this business is in Washington Heights! What a breath of fresh air. Went for a pedicure and SNS powder and I am in love. Gladys did an amazing job! She was pleasant, knowledgeable and patient. Everyone is extremely nice especially Tomy! You can tell how much he cares about his business, his employees and his customers. Honestly this is the best place, everyone will make you feel like a queen, there is such a satisfying cleanliness about this place, it is so elegant and use safety protocols!! I love love this place! I went to this salon for the first time on Saturday to get an SNS manicure with a french design. The staff was very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable here. However, soon after, my french design began to chip and peel off. It started with one nail and quickly progressed to all nails. I tried to go to the salon on Monday but it was closed due to construction, and I got contacted this morning to go in for a repair. I tried to get a refund as I had to file off the design myself because it simply looked horrible and they claimed they could not give me one due to a nonexistent policy on their website. The manager, Helen, told me she wanted me to have it redone with one of their better technicians and they’d give me the repair and my next full set on them. When Jessica began to repair the SNS manicure, I asked if she could file it down a bit since I filed off the design and it was thicker near the cuticle of my nail — which she agreed but had to ask Helen to confirm that it could be done. After the repair was done, Helen then said that I cannot get a full set done after my repair because I asked to have them filed down, it was then going to be a “percentage off”. This place does not do a good job of accommodating people and valuing their hard earned money. If they could give me a free full set on them, they surely can return my money for a job even they knew was not okay.I am not one to write reviews about any establishment, especially not a negative one. Nor am I one to complain about any services, but this experience was beyond baffling. I spent $80 including tip for this manicure to be butchered. Will not be returning here.

I had an Ombre Apres Gel manicure done and was so satisfied with the end result. I have been to this location before for both manicure and pedicure services and they have yet to disappoint.

Im starting this review with saying how disappointed I am with this establishment. I went for a gel manicure on 10/09/23 and the next day one nail chipped. I reached out to the business via Instagram and it took them two messages for them to reply. I received a phone call from the manager Luis about how to repair the nail. I tried to explain that I live in NJ and it would cost me more to drive to NY. His response was, are you inquiring about the repair cost?After paying $52, including tip for the gel manicure and it didn’t last two days I was looking for a refund. This situation was handled poorly.

This places is AMAZING. I had a couple months looking for a really nice nails salon in the Area, and one day walking by I found this wonderful place. If you want a perfect and profesional Mami and pedi, ask for Ana, she’s the BEST!!!.Tommy is also very attentive and sweet❤️.

A next level experience here, always. The beauticians and managers are so hospitable and thorough in creating a spa environment. And, they take their time! Always pleased with the high quality of their gel manis and pedis.

Very unfortunate experience. Really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt several times, but today was certainly the very last straw for me. Paid over $100 for a gel mani and pedi that have since been ruined. It’s only been 3 hours since I left. This has NEVER EVER happened to me with gel polish at any salon. The most disappointing part is that I was there for 3 hours…and 3 different ppl worked on my gel manicure - all for it to be ruined within hours. Save yourself the trouble and the money and go elsewhere.

The service and level of empathy is very cheap. I feel like this establishment is money hungry for charging clients a 20 dollar late fee for an emergency. It’s ridiculous and somewhat abusive. I believe that the client needs to have a strong word in what they need not the absurd rules that a nail place has.

Best manicure I’ve had in nyc! SNS dip manicure. Definitely recommend them. Had a terrible experience at another salon and was nervous about finding somewhere new. From the second I walked in everyone at Tomy Rivero made me feel so safe and comfortable. So clean and friendly knowledgeable staff who want the best for you. I love this spot! It is chic, clean and respectful and they treat every single customer like a VIP. I bring my young daughter for manicures as well and she leaves feeling like a princess. This place sets a high standard, and it always has the newest products and techniques available.

Walked past this place a couple times & peeked through the windows and realized it was a nail salon then googled it only to see the amazing reviews and upscale environment.the reviews were all true! the team at tomy are so nice; the space is clean + bright + welcoming, you really feel like you’re treating yourself. everyone was so helpful without being pushy which was such a pleasant bonus.i got a gel mani + pedi after a year without either and theresa did an amazing job!! she saved my cuticles! there’s also so many small touches that show how much thought was put into the design (outlets & usb charges at the pedi AND under the mani stations)it really does feel like such a treat yourself indulgence; thank you tomy!! 💕

I love this place and my nails! I had a pedicure and a SNS/Dip Powder manicure on my natural nails. Although this was my first time at this salon, they treated me like I was a regular. This was one of my best nail experiences ever. Everyone was so nice and professional with every person that walked in the door, even those who werent customers. I cant wait to return!

If i can give this place more than 5 stars i would! For a long time ive looked for a salon that will give the treatment and pampering that i want. The attention the care the professionalism is seriously unmatched!!! I love how client oriented and involved all the staff was. I brought my mom so we can have a mother daughter pedi date and im so glad i did! My mother left super happy! Luis was amazing and so was Jennifer! Jennifer listened to what i wanted and she definitely delivered!! Definitely recommend!

This place is amazing! Definitely 5 star service. I’ve been here twice so far and both times has been exceptional experience. The staff are very welcoming, nice, professional and knowledgeable. You can tell they know what they’re doing. And they take their time to make sure everything is done well. I love their customer service. I’m a forever customer!

This is by far the best place I’ve been to. The owner is incredibly accommodating, and the technicians are unbelievably talented. I got nail art and my technician could do anything! A complete artist! They treated me better than at the 4 seasons. The establishment is also immaculately clean. When I received my pedicure they added little touches like petals and served me a chocolate dipped strawberry because it was Valentine’s Day. I needed that since I had no valentine. Altogether I highly recommend this place. I commuted from the lower east side because I heard it was amazing, and I felt it was worth the commute! So if you have the chance to go, take it! I can’t wait to ho back and try the facial services. I heard they are incredible too!!

Marisol was very thorough and did a great job with my gel pedicure. The salon itself is clean, organized, and relaxing, which was very refreshing. It was easy to make an appt online.

Really felt like I was getting an experience at a spa rather than just getting my nails done! The place is a little small, but they truly use all the space available to them. The staff are very welcoming and nice and I was very happy with my mani and pedi, mostly because it felt extremely relaxing to be pampered and attended to. Definitely am bringing the whole family and friends here!

Very satisfied with the work they do here, ive tried many places but this is the ONLY place where I know my gel manicure will last 2-3 weeks and powder dip 5+weeks! Yes their prices are on the higher side but Id rather pay more for good quality manicures and know I can go a whole month without having to get my nails re-done. Highly recommend.

This place does impeccable work. I come back over and over again. My gel powder manicures last easily 4 weeks+ without any cracking or chipping.

If you want a gel manicure that lasts look no further! My gel manicures would never last more than 4-5 days from any other salon until I started coming here, now they last 2 weeks +. The pedicures are also amazing. The salon is beautiful, clean and relaxing, and Tomy and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Their quality products make all the difference, try for yourself and you wont look back!!

This place is really nice and everyone was super nice and the service was amazing, i got a manicure and a pedicure. My pedicure came out nice. But the only thing is that my manicure on one hand was super sticky and did not get dried properly so my nails kept getting dirty, I had to wipe my nails with alcohol to remove the dirt and then I had to borrow an Led light to cure my left hand. Overall only 4 nails out of all my hands came out nice and shiny and the rest keep getting dirty (also I didn’t have time to go back to let them know about my nails, because I had to go to another appointment right after). Update: the white nail polish literally turned to a yellowish color on the the third day!!!

I would give it more stars if I could....Ive get apres gel-x, gel and sns manis and spa pedis regularly over the past years , and honestly, this place is REALLY impressive.Highly recommend if youre looking to treat yourself or just want a regular spot that has a more calm, relaxing experience than other nail salons. Eveyone is different, but for me, my nail appt is my self care day and I want it to be as relaxing as possible and its safe to say today I felt pampered (without breaking the bank too!).I got the $40 basic pedicure with a $5 foot file add-on and it was honestly better than most **upgraded** pedicures Ive had (no exaggeration, it was way better than the fancy spots in Brooklyn and Manhattan). I noted they also used a professional footfile - not those cheese graters most salons use that make your calluses come back harder. This attention to detail shows they know what theyre doing.The SNS manicure was insanely good, too. Janeth was such a great nail tech,I cant recommend her enough! From looking around, its clear all these nail techs are super skilled! I would definitely come back here for my next Apres gel-x set.Lovely clean space sets the tone. Im always looking at protocol for sanitation, and I was really impressed! Im immunocompromised, so for me, it was awesome that they still asked you to wear masks and they also santized surfaces. Most importantly, they used new tools for each customer. Also, a great vibe from staff - super polite, take your coat, offer water, and rembered my name when greeting me and saying bye. Some people dont care about that stuff, but it just adds to the experience for me, so i really appreciated it. I also want to note that my appointment was pushed by 15 minutes, but they text me and even called me to let me know 2 hours prior, which shows that theyre thoughtful and respectful of my time.Safe to say, this spot will be my regular go-to. I love that I no longer have to schlep to Brooklyn

I have Been going to Tomy Rivero’s beauty lab since the day they opened. This place is a godsend for my neighborhood. This is the cleanest nail salon in all of NYC I’ve been to in my 12 years of living in the city. I love How friendly and professional everyone is. Tomy is there everyday working and even assisting clients by helping remove nail polish or gels, will start your water soak for your feet as well. I went Here throughout my entire pregnancy and they were so helpful with assisting me in and out of the pedicure seat, very caring! I love going to Tomy Riveros beauty lab because they do a stellar job every time but also it’s so friendly and inviting.

I walk by this place regularly and finally checked it out. I will be back. Great service, meticulous work and emphasis on excellent customer service. Helen was great and runs a tight ship and Anna and Crystal were excellent nail techs. It’s pricey but well worth the cleanliness, style and overall experience. Can’t wait to return.

I dont get my nails done often, but I had a special occasion. I had been feeling stressed prior to arriving, yet my experience at Tomy Rivero was excellent, putting me at ease and enjoying much needed pampering. From start to finish, the service and care they provided me made me feel special. Offering of herbal tea during my pedicure, charging stations for my phone while I sat, the environment was festive (its Christmas), sparkling clean, and an upscale vibe. My nail tech did a great job on my gel mani-pedi. Would definitely recommend!

I feel so lucky to have found this as my first nail salon experience in NYC. The location is clean and beautiful, and the staff are so kind and professional. They take their time and show genuine care for their work. Tomy is so kind and professional, and Makayla (sp? sorry!) gave me an awesome facial and was so sweet. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This salon is so lovely and they are incredibly accommodating. I came in for my appointment and didn’t do a great job of communicating what I was looking for. After the nail technician already prepared my nails and started the dipping process, I told them I wasn’t happy with how the nails were looking. They worked with me to make something lovely that I ended up loving. This place bent over backwards to accommodate me despite taking more time to fix my mistake. 10/10 place for sure

This place is beautiful and bright. I couldnt get an appointment at my usual place and I happened to bump into this location on Instagram. I called and Tomy was able to accommodate my mother and I. From the moment you step in the vibe is nice and we were greeted by their pedicurist. The owner, Tomy was very hospitable and asked us to wash our hands (the sink was nearby and the cute pink soap was a plus) They are definitely complying with the CDC regulations. Its safe and clean. The team who worked on my mother and I were friendly and did a great job. My mother is constantly getting comments about how beautiful her SNS manicure looks. I can tell they are perfectionist and passionate about their job. The owner did an amazing job and creates a great space. You dont have to go deep downtown anymore to get a luxury service- support the neighborhood and pamper yourself. The fact that this is located in a busy street- once you are inside, you forget where you are. I dont regret coming in here and thank you Tomy for all your care.

My new favorite nail spot!!! I love the whole spa experience which I feel it’s rare to find around here. Every thing is super clean and the manicure/pedicure I got was so relaxing as well as the hydro jelly facial I received right after my nails! ☺️The staff was also really nice and the owner couldn’t have been more welcoming.I can’t wait to go back!!

Overall, good job! I received a gel manicure as well a specialized facial, brow and chin wax. The staff was friendly and professional and the space is very clean and well equipped. The prices are fair considering their high end products and location which is right on Broadway. Id definitely go again.

The location is beautiful & I was excited to try it. Went in at 11am for an SNS manicure & didn’t walk out until 12:40 & these are the results. I’ve had this type manicure countless times so I pretty much know how long it takes & what the steps are. While the Tech was nice enough I think she may have been in training because she did not know what she was doing. The cost with tax was $57-58 & when I stepped outside to the natural light all the imperfections are visible. Ana at the front desk stepped out with me so I could show her & she acknowledged the hot mess that are my nails & offered to have them fixed by another Tech. Quite frankly I think they should’ve refunded at least part of the fee because no way am I going back. Very disappointing experience.

I usually dont post reviews - but for this salon Im going to go ahead and step out of my usual and say this is a WINNER. I came here a couple of months after having nail extensions from another salon that had ruined my natural nail. After just one appointment, my nails look better than ever. The vibe and ambience is immaculate, the customer service is extraordinary, and the quality of the work is superb. Im definitely bringing my girls here for our next mani and pedi session. Place is amazing. You can feel the difference right when you walk in that it’s not your typical nail salon. Faith did my acrylic tips. I ALWAYS have issues with tips staying on, I mean always. I’m so happy I finally found a nail salon in Washington heights that does such great work. The women took their time removing the cuticles from your hands to putting the nail polish on. And they were super nice! I definitely found my go two nail place that I will be going to from now on!

The best nail salon in town! Everybody are so nice, Helen the operations manager is outstanding. The place is so clean and I felt always so safe during covid time. It’s so classy and feels like a treat every time I go there!

I’m so happy that Beauty Lab opened up. The space is amazing - cool with a great vibe and the most talented artists. They have a curated menu of services and I’m dying to try them all. I got my nails done and pedi. I also booked a facial and lash extensions for my next appointment. Tomy is so warm and accommodating. You can tell he take great price in having a beautiful space with the best services, and impeccable cleanliness.

This is the best nail service I have ever received. They are always consistent. They greet me in a respectful and professional manner everytime I show up. My nails always look so clean and I just love the service I receive here. I believe everyone should give them a try. Dont forget to make an appointment.

Absolutely the best service and staff - Such a gem for the neighborhood. I am in regularly for mani/pedis as well as facials.Tomy is very involved, invested, and present at the salon. The staff is friendly, professional, and skilled across the board.I have brought friends, family, and my partner who have all also raved about the service. I cannot recommend this place enough! Call or book early as they tend to be booked - especially on the weekends.Kindly note, they take the Covid pandemic very seriously - which I sincerely appreciate. You will have your temperature taken when you enter, asked to wash your hands, and masks are required.

This has got to be like the best place on Earth. The people here not only extremely cleanly but respectful and hospitable. Today one of the clients needed some help walking outside and the owner himself walked him out. Such a great place. The person sitting beside me agreed with me. Take all my money please!!

Tomy is a breath of fresh air in the Washington Heights beauty industry. He knows that we are craving quality services Uptown and he knows how to deliver them. He treats his clients to a multitude of services including facials and luxurious spa pedicures at moderate prices. This place is clinically clean and has a peaceful vibe. All you have to do is sit back and relax and enjoy the pampering. You’ll be addicted after your first visit!

Wow this is a Queer Babes dream nail spa. I recently got myself a gel pedicure here and Carmen was phenomenal. Deadass, the sweetest woman Ive ever had do my nails.. I have very specific requests when doing my toes and the team here was able to accommodate and accomplish with little to no trouble at all. Chelly made me feel welcomed as soon as I got in and she checked in often to make sure I was going well. Then Tomy arrived and instantly snapped into action with sanitizing and cleaning the spaces. We love to see an owner protecting their community. This is definitely going to be my new spot, Ive been traveling to BK for my nails but thankfully Tomy Rivero is here and they got me as a permanent customer.

Update: went again about a month ago and unfortunately had a bad experience. I tried to be ok with it but it was clear the technician didnt know how to take off Japanese gel. She drilled down to my actual nail, instead of drilling some off then soaking the rest. I have gotten Japanese gel over 15 times and have never had such horrible pain. My nails now are so wear that they rip from anything. I have to keep them completely short until they grow out. I have clear divots in my nails from the drill. Please teach your technicians about different types of gel. The previous time (and review) I came here I did not have this issue, same gel, same original nail artist.Very lovely space thats clean and airy, they are very knowledgeable as well!

I wish I could give more stars!I luckily found this place on google (mind you, I live literally 3 minutes away from there). I had been looking for a place to get nails done with art designs.I am super happy with the service and the results!For sure will be returning and bringing more people!Profesional- super clean- friendly staff- appointments times are met exactly- not only does the place look great they offer excellent quality work!

I have visited this location twice for SNS Nails and was disappointed both visits. The first time I came here my nails were not properly prepped for SNS that a second nail tech had to fix the first tech’s mistake which lead me to having to be there an extra hour than my appointment time.The second time I came here the nail tech made them look so thick and wide that it looked horrible. Even after I mentioned that I would like them filed down thinner all she did was make them worst. Unfortunately I will not be back here again. It’s a nice location but not worth it if I don’t ever love the work.

I have been going for the last two months since he has opened his business. It is definitely a breathe of fresh air and something that was missing in Washington heights. Tomy and his employees are so charismatic, welcoming, and have such attention to detail that you leave feeling rejuvenated and so well taken care of. You also feel safe and relaxed knowing that he and the ladies are on top of cleansing and sanitizing everything after every client that comes in. The aesthetic is so clean and chic down the to fresh flowers in the front desk.I’ve so far had gel lash lift, facial, mani, pedi, and gel apres, and have been in love with every outcome. I go with my mom and my daughter every two weeks and the ladies are always on top of the scheduling to make sure that we are attended to together. It’s the attention to details like this that makes the experience spectacular. If you want a spa experience in Washington Heights this is the place to go!

I went to Tomys for a gel manicure and gel pedicure and couldnt have had a better experience! The salon is gorgeous, clean and exceeded all of my expectations. I highly recommend Faith - she did an amazing job on my nails and toes and Ill definitely be back!

My mother and I had mani & pedis today, and I was above and beyond pleased with the services provided. Tomy and his staff are AMAZING and they provided impeccable service and hospitality. Tomys Beauty Lab is definitely equivalent to an upscale upper east side nail salon, right here in the heart of washington heights. I love this place !!!!

This place is amazing! Very clean and following Covid protocols. I got a gel pedi and an Apres full set. Blanca did my toes and she was very attentive and worked at a good speed. Last minute I asked if I could get an Apres set. Even though I didn’t have an appointment for the Apres set, they serviced me anyways and ended up staying open an hour and a half passed closing for me. Taneia did my nails. She was awesome and did a great job! She was friendly and knowledgeable. They offered me water and took my jacket. Very upscale with fair prices. Booking an online appointment for my pedicure was easy and they were right on time and accommodated me adding a soak off for the gel that was already on my toes. The salon was peaceful and so chic! So thankful to have found this place and will definitely be back! Thank you!!

Quiet, clean, spacious nail salon in uptown. I go to midtown or near work in Jersey for my mani/pedis. I can say the service and expectations are the same here as midtown. Glad to go to a nearby place and support my community. Mercedes the technician was lovely, as well.

Just had the snarkiest interaction at this salon. Was looking forward to a service when I realized they used heavily perfumed candles in their store. As someone with a serious chemical sensitivity this was unfortunately a no go. The technician I initially talked to said they could blow it out but the manager** edit - this interaction was with Owner Tomy Rivero, which somehow makes this worse— came over and said “there’s nothing that can be done, sorry” Clearly their bougie aesthetic and candle was more important than their clients and I likely would have been a loyal one. For context, my stunned response was oh- and his was mh-hmm. To me it reeked that think they are better than the folks in the neighborhood they serve. I’ll be letting my entire network know not to go to this place.** edit to include response to Tomy Rivero: yes exactly the kind of gaslighting response you’d expect from a place that has no class 🤣 Good luck to you, Tomy. I went in for the first time to make my nails here on Thursday 7/8/21. I did a manicure and pedicure and Immediately I left and went home, two of the nails fixed here fell off already after spending almost 150$ for this service and this happened. Also, the pedicure I did after wearing a shoe the nail polish is already coming off on day one! I was supposed to go for a dinner that day and had to figure out how to savage it by myself. I will never return back here again. It isn’t worth it to come here you can find a better option than this place.

Everything about my experience with Julissa was easy. She made me feel very comfortable and was delicate with her hands. We spoke about my past facial experiences and products I’ve used and she just took it from there. She suggested what I needed and why. VERY knowledgeable. It’s been awhile since I’ve had a facial and super thankful to have had Julissa do my birthday facial. I appreciate her and will definitely be back :) Thank You so much Julissa!!!

The owner tried to refute my claim, but as i told her, My podiatrist can show you photos and a medical bill that its 100% true. This lady cut my toe several times and it was bleeding and I was in pain for weeks. I told her but she tried putting some type of ointment which didnt help. It hurt like hell whenever i put socks or walked. I had to spend money at the podiatrist to save my toe..Maybe she was new but never has anyone cut my toes to that extent. The Worst!!

SOOOOO happy I finally decided to check this place out! The ambiance, the vibe, and most importantly, the incredibly talented and patient staff. Full disclosure, I havent had a mani/pedi in MONTHS...I walked in feeling (and looking) very feral . After the spa pedi + SNS manicure, I am human again! The nail techs went to WORK! I went to the Beauty Lab after seeing it open for a while. I received a gel manicure as well as a facial, chin and brow wax. Everything was very clean and the staff was professional and friendly.. I feel like the pricing is fair considering the aesthetic and the quality products that are used. Overall good job!

Once you are about to walk into the shop it already stands out, of the many other stores on the strip, it’s so bright, beautiful and modernized, it has very calm and relaxing vibes. They even offer you coffee, tea or water upon entering for your appointment!! The staff was so friendly and nice they’re always asking if you would like something to drink and they’re always making sure everything feels good to your liking. They have alot of services on their menu like waxing, facials, nails, lash extensions, and even eyebrow tinting. They have ventilation systems throughout the shop which takes the bacteria in the air inside and blows it back out through the ventilator outside, bringing in clean air through the other ventilators around the shop. they also have ventilation on each nail technicians seat and on each pedicure section, I haven’t seen this in no other spa uptown but this one!! And the best part is that they have built-in corian surfaces which are antibacterial, they even use CND nail polish at no extra cost. You have to go in and see for yourself what a unique experience it is 🧖🏻‍♀️💆🏻‍♀️!! This will be my go-to place for some me time for suree!!
