Like no other club in the city. Do yourself the favor and take the trip inside. Unbeatable sound system. Cocktails are so delicious - best dirty martini in the city.
The atmosphere inside is very nice, fancy. I was let in because I came earlier. Obviously you have to have reservations. My friends came later and was waiting in line for about 30mn and they weren’t allowed in because they didn’t have reservations, even though I told the guy that was supposed to be the boss that they are my friend and I already got a 25$ drink. He still didn’t let them in saying his reservations list is full, and there is nothing he can do. The bar is clearly empty. It was only 10 pm. So rude! I left and went dancing with my friends in the nearby club instead.
First and last time I come to this place if they keep the same bouncers. How can management endorse this kind of behavior? Bunch of bouncers in front of the door being insanely incompetent and rude. If you are not capable of having the right equipment to scan QR codes of the event you working for, go home. Or at least don’t be massive jerks about it. I get that sometimes bouncers deal with irrational behavior from people. But last night they were the irrational ones, denying entrance of our group even though the club was empty, we had tickets and were compliant. That kind of stupidity will drive a lot of customers away. Which is sad because the club and ambiance are very cool!Don’t try, do better
Went yesterday with a group of friends for a birthday celebration. We had fun, the DJ and atmosphere were nice but the bouncer was unreasonable. He made people wait even though the venue was completely empty. We had a friend ask him how long the wait was and his response was “not letting you in”. So, he had to go home. Once we did get in and ordered a margarita, the bartender charged us for a casamigos with a $6 upcharge “margarita”, so be careful what you order. One margarita cost $28. I wouldn’t visit this place again. There’s plenty of great DJs and venues in New York where you don’t have to deal with an irrational bouncer & a bartender that gets overwhelmed with 4 people at the bar. Go across the street to Superbueno.
Nice place but the bouncers are annoying for no reason. They made everyone wait. I waited 30min even though I was first in line and had the proper QR code to enter. I already had 10 friends inside, didn’t make a difference. My friends weren’t able to come get me outside, they were told to be patient. Not the only one to have had this experience. Thursday night 3/28 at 11pm. I made it inside and had fun that’s why i didn’t put 0 star ;)
Love this place! First of all, the staff is amazing - busboys, bartenders, coat check, etc - friendly, attentive, and on top of keeping the place clean. Drinks are well-made and worth the price tag. Sound system is impressive, and the music (very good edm when I came on a Sat night) was great. The space is perfect. We got in easily ~10pm without cover, but line outside was long when we left at 12:30am. I love that they didn’t let it get too packed inside. So my reco is get there early, enjoy the great drinks, chill vibe, and arcade games before the place gets busy.
I want to give Outer Heaven five stars - I really do. The atmosphere once inside is sublime. The sound system, music, bartenders, decor and vibes are among the best youll find in lower Manhattan. But what prevents me from giving five stars is the absolute contempt the bouncers have towards the patrons, even before 10pm when supposedly theyre less exclusive and the bar is totally empty. The bouncers will visibly roll their eyes, ignore you, whisper amongst themselves. They wear sunglasses and dont glance in your direction or acknowledge your presence. Its super off putting and it gives flashbacks to high school bullies on a power trip. You can have a tough door and also treat people as if theyre people and not lesser than you.Im willing to bump my review up to five stars if the next time I come the bouncers act a bit more down to earth.
AVOID! The bouncer decided we had to wait outside despite showing up 20 min after the opening and with tickets. He made up excuses such as we cannot scan your QR codes, you have to wait for the person to show up, we dont know when, you should go somewhere else. I dont know why the guy was discriminating against us but after I asked why we had to wait he said he would not let me in. I left immediately and they lost a client, Ill never go there ever.
Great sound throughout the venue, nice seating areas, and very active staff working to clear empty drinks and keep the place clean. I’d be a regular here if I was local
I would leave 0 stars but it’s not possible. Maybe the venue is good, but the bouncers on March 28th 2024 were jerks, they didn’t want to speak with you. If you asked more than 1 question they told you to go home. I don’t know how anyone allows this behavior.
Simply put, there is no other venue on the east side of lower Manhattan that has put so much emphasis on sound quality combined with mixology.Don’t miss this one.
Doorman denied my entrance telling me no shorts allowed, and ten other people wearing shorts and skirts went in before me, flat out discrimination 👎👎👎
Have always enjoyed myself going to Outer Heaven. Some nights are inconsistent as far as vibes–first time was deep house and dancing which was great, the next time everyone was talking and using their phones while the DJ was spinning. Service is hit or miss, the dude with the long-hair/ponytail has always been great, however a few times theres confusion between the bartenders and the waitress as to where to order drinks (waitress told us to order at the bar, bartenders told us to order from the waitress, etc.). Drinks are on the pricier side ($24-26 cocktails) and are that amazing unfortunately. Sound system is unmatched, and the smaller crowd size makes it a really fun intimate spot. Congrats to Jack and the team.
Very good drinks, solid service, for now you can still get in and the crowd is orderly. Hope they can maintain this. It’s a good mix of high end neighborhood bar and night club — a hard line to walk but they do it well. Sound system is incredible. Music is loud and you can feel the bass but you can talk to your date. Best of all worlds. More places should be this good. Bravo to the team!
Terrible. People continuously coming out of the club (before 11:00pm) and wouldnt let anyone in for over 30 minutes with only 15 people in line Their so called bouncer was mute when people asked questions and hid behind his giant sunglasses on a power trip (I would be ashamed to show my face too with such behavior). Such a try hard bar. Take your money elsewhere and listen to your gut if youre unsure about coming. The owners responses to other poor reviews are that entrance is highly determined by bottle service. Well there was a group in front of me asking to buy bottle service and they were told they still had to wait in line so thats clearly an excuse.
Looks like there is a consistent issue with the bouncers here. I couldnt agree more. Even with a reservation, completely tyrannical. Without one - dismissive and offensive.
Amazing ambiance. Amazing music, friendly and cool staff. Great for just drinks or even dancing. My only complaint is the cocktails were $24 which was steep for the quality. The cocktails were good but not $24 good. Id say $18-20 would have been more appropriate for the quality. Sake was better priced and really good. Coming back here for the chill cool night club vibes next time, not the cocktails.
This UFO club is a failure to launch. Overall a very flawed nightclub experience. The bouncers were curt and subjective - very much your standard for Manhattan. We got let in after a few mins at 2:40am. The main bouncer was dressed like a Resident Evil villain (perhaps a sign looking back now).We asked the bartender for a cocktail list. “We don’t have one” was the response. I was disheartened, no creative UFO drinks?? I did not order and said “thanks anyway”. I was lost adrift in space by the lack of drink menu. Ground control to bartender, your list is gone there’s something wrong.Arcade games were both are broken. Gun wires frayed on Terminator and the fighting game not configured to run properly (required nonexistent controller). Might want to check on those mgmt.Dance floor indeed had nice lighting that created a nice UFO themed space. DJ was okay that night and there was ample space to dance but I imagine it gets crowded. The clientele that the bouncers curate is disappointing. Your average Manhattan revelers with boring looks, basic clothes, and awful attitudes. You know the type. Rent’s high so we need their money, but wow do they all have to dress and act the same? Close Encounters of the Worst Kind (Finance bros).I stayed until 4 dancing then phoned home. No cocktails, no arcade, no good patrons, but hey the lights were nice. We left and throttled into the LES night away from the pale, blue dot.
This stinks because this is an amazing cocktail bar Ive been going to for a while! Its pricey but great drinks. For the first time though I visited as a nightclub and I unfortunately will not be going back even during the week now. Decent crowd and a great vibe inside but if youre a girl I would expect to pay for a table or know someone with a table to get in without waiting an hour plus and if youre a guy prepare to face Elton John at the door but without the talent just the attitude. Everyone we spoke to was rude and on a crazy power trip guarding the door. That or they want +2000$ for a table, I wouldnt bother when its in the nightclub setup, take your money elsewhere.
Great great staff. Jackie rules! Good drinks. Nice interiors and fun lighting. The speakers are excellent although the acoustic treatment inside could have been better, had some echo and dead spaces. The vibes were very weird when we were there —got a bachelorette aggressively coming at our table insisting we call her wife and a big group of bros just standing in the middle of the dance floor on their phones.[Edited to be less cryptic. Thank you for having us! We had a good time]
Beautiful new bar / club. The most impressive part is the quality of the sound. It has been a long time since Manhattan got a proper new night club. Great DJ line up. Great ceiling animated screen on top of the dance floor.
This place is fire. The staff is insane. Never seen a ratio this high of bartender to customers. The door is probably tough but the bouncers are kind and considerate. I hope this place stays true to its purpose and succeeds in bringing back house music to Manhattan. Love that the crowd is not pseudo spiritual trust fund losers like gospel is. You can tell the owner poured their hearts out in designing and staffing the spot.
Great vibe! Beautiful top tier dance room with insane sound system and incredible finishes. They attract some of the best NYC local DJ talent. Also a nice classy bar area - great for grabbing a drink.
My fav place to hang in nyc, music is sick and love people here!! especially coat check girl❤️just the best
Avoid! I usually don’t write reviews but me and my friend were not let in after waiting a hour in line because the guy at the door told us “there are too many white people in the club tonight so you can’t come in”. Keep in mind getting denied because it’s too crowded or there’s an event is fine but this is totally unacceptable. If you want to be disrespected, judged because of the color of your skin, and insulted by the staff this is the place to go to!
Infiltrate the enemy fortress, Outer Heaven! Destroy the final weapon, Metal Gear!
Lovely experience. Finally good music in city on a proper sound system. Every detail is thought through. Beyond impressed but most importantly kudos to this team for taking risk on building actually club culture in a borough that has opted to play it safe rather than build a real music culture! Will be coming back.
This new club has been generating a lot of buzz, and for good reason! The atmosphere is electric and energetic, with an unmistakable air of excitement that envelops you from the moment you step inside. The music is undoubtedly the star of the show here. They get som pretty insane DJs. I saw Polo and Pan here. + The sound system is INSANE.The lighting and decor are tastefully done, creating an ambiance that is both alluring and sophisticated. The staff is attentive and friendly, and the drinks flow freely, ensuring that you never have to wait long for a refill. In short, this super fun, sexy new club with incredible new music is not to be missed. Whether youre a seasoned club-goer or someone looking for a night out on the town, this is the perfect destination to let your hair down and have a good time.
Outer Heaven is a must-visit nightclub for anyone who appreciates high-quality sound and great cocktails. The sound system is truly amazing and delivers a crisp and clear audio experience that will leave you in awe. The cocktails are equally impressive, with a range of creative and delicious options that will satisfy even the most discerning palate. The atmosphere is vibrant and energetic, making it the perfect spot to dance the night away. Overall, Outer Heaven is an exceptional nightclub that should definitely be on your list of places to visit.
3/11/23: We came back... service was again amazing. We did see a few different drinks on the menu I decided to try, while my boyfriend decided to try some of the whiskeys/bourbons neat. While we had reservations at the bar, they still tried to accommodate us in the listening lounge, we actually got to sit behind the DJ booth, which was still pretty cool!2/19/23: I learned about this place recently opening up through social media. Weve never been in this space before Outer Heaven but heard of it. What interested me is the unique space between the bar and lounge areas, additionally I read that the sound system is designed by the founder of Cielo and Output, so we definitely came to enjoy the sounds and music. But the best part is that its in LES, not a typical neighborhood youd see a space with a good sound system. We made reservations, which Id recommend as by the time we left, it was packed and there was a very long line outside. We tried almost every cocktail on the menu and they were all delicious. We will be back!(See Photos section for pictures)
Stood outside for over an hour , even tough the line wasn’t as long. The “bouncers” are rude and definitely on a power trip . Customers seem to be an enemy for them, they would let random people in without any information to the people that waited in line.At least some information would be helpful but no communication from the clubs side , several parties in the line just left after wasting time and just went to the bars nearby.Complete waste of a time
[edit: FOR POTENTIAL PATRONS—see how their response further proves their arrogance and lack of respect—when you leave a bad review they ask if you asked the bouncer about the wait time as if that’s the customer’s responsibility to receive bad service (should I also ask your bouncer to stop puffing weed to my face?); they joke about their neighbor establishment; they explain about their “bottle and table service” when clearly that is used as a convenient excuse for bad gatekeeping. If your bouncers want to reject admission that’s fine, train them to have the balls to tell that to people instead of waiting them out]Hope this gets a response from the owner—I waited in line for a full hour, only to see the bouncers pulling people (that is, from a single person to a group of 8, none of them paid for said “table” or on the guest list) behind us to go in until there’s only my group left at the door. We wore formal attires and went to a club previously that night. We didn’t appear drunk. The bouncers were definitely enjoying the unwarranted sense of superiority by smoking joints with their friends at the door, saying “if you want to get in you can pay 1000 bucks for a table” to a couple who asked about the wait time, and just generally picking people to get in while elbowing us away.I can understand that if your club only wants to admit a certain group of clients—I don’t expect you just to open the door for anyone—but you can be professional like any other clubs do and just tell us to leave. That would be fine honestly, lots of clubs do that. But you didn’t even train your bouncers to be respectful and inform people if they are not welcomed in your establishment, and instead they had us waiting for an entire hour and watching the line shrink from ~20 people to only my group. There is a reason that almost everyone walking pass your door tonight asked “is this The Box” and kept walking, plus your bouncer smiled at these people and rolled eyes at us.
This place used to be fun but they ruined it with the new bouncer playing games. You go inside and it’s empty so the fake line game is not working. It used to be fun and lively. 👎
Our group of 7 just got turned down for no reason at all. It’s as if we looked funny to them. They said we had too big of a group. There’s 50 people in line. Aren’t we the same as all the other patrons in line waiting to be let in? Couldn’t we have come in in two groups of 3 and 4? Low blow outer heaven. Shameless and very odd. We’re offended. Way to demonstrate inclusivity…ZERO STARS
I never do this for clubs but the entire staff was one of the best I’ve seen in nyc. The bouncers, bartender, even the person coat checking were all great vibes. The music was also 🔥🔥The crowd is your typical basic les crowd which honestly surprised me because the bar is so cool so hopefully as it gets more popular they will get a more diverse hip vibe because this would be such a cool spot for it
Reserved a table on a Saturday night with a group of friends. Service was on point and we were never waiting for anything. Everything was very clean. I enjoyed how intimate the space was. Music sounded great and the lighting was nice. Highly recommend this place for drinks or a fun night out of dancing.
🤌🏼 Hands down maybe the best venue to open in lower Manhattan in recent memory. What the team has done with the space is great. Sleek, sophisticated & thoughtfully designed bar/lounge area & an intimate dance floor with none of the pretentiousness that so many lower Manhattan spaces have. The staff was incredible, sound system GREAT & with the DJs they book, you’re guaranteed to have a great time.
An exceptional club, intimate in stature, supreme in sound. Do not come here if you are into the status quo. the beats are very advanced, intended for sophisticated underground music aficionados. try the sake!
Can’t say enough good things about Outer Heaven! Amazing atmosphere, Chic Design, Unique and tasty cocktails & Super Kind Staff! Most Importantly Gay Friendly & A Sick Sound System!! Me and my Friends new Go to spot any day of the week!!!!
Really unfortunate experience to come here with my partner to celebrate Valentine’s Day to wait 90 min just to have NY socialites pass before us and the bouncer tell us we shouldn’t waste our time waiting anymore. We are music lovers & club goers all throughout NY and globally - pretty disappointing to be a resident advisor rated experience that discriminates people based on social status (totally untasteful).
If your bouncers won’t let us in for the night, fine; we get that. But PLEASE have the courtesy or professionalism of letting us know, rather than having us wait for a full hour at the front of the line. Sad that my final night in NYC had to end like this. What a shame!
Place you dream to come back again.Outer Heaven most fabulous place. With quality Sound system, surprise for Manhattan. Long bar area give you fast and ezy access to your beverage. All club is made with a lot of patience and love, every inch is of Outer Heaven. The Dancefloore - pice of Art. Lets skip this in porpoise to give you chances to experience hospitality bu your own. Atmosphere is great.
Came here for my birthday with a group of ten on a Saturday night, reserved on Resy. The space is sublime, music is on point, and the room to breathe and actually enjoy your company. It was nice to be in Manhattan and not have 80 people trying to sit on your lap while screaming Mr Brightside. The drinks are pricey, but my bill was so far below under 1K for like 5 drinks per person, I was shocked. Our cocktail waiter was the chillest, kindest human. I could have convinced myself I was at a bar in Brooklyn. Until the clock struck 9 PM, and suddenly the music got too loud to have a conversation, and bouncers stopped letting people in. I had a few friends come through to join for a drink and dance a bit, and they were stopped at the door. Asked questions like do you even know what bar this is and giving them a hard time about whose party they were part of. I get that admission is at the bouncers discretion after a certain time, but when Im inside and the dancefloor is empty, and my 5 friends are outside getting denied entry because theres a party of 80 coming in 2 hours (verbatim what the bouncer told us), I find it hard to reconcile that it was just about headcount. After waiting for around 10 minutes outside with my friends, one of them let us through kindly. But between this and a few unwarrented eyerolls from bartenders, the vibes were off. I should have known--it is Manhattan after all, and the air is thick with pretension. That being said, we had an overall good time, and Ill probably come back on a weekday. Im just disappointed that the vibes were not chill on the weekend--but thats what I get for trying to dance on the Lower East Side.
Looks like youve found it... THIS is THE spot. Beautiful people, amazing music AND sound (the sound quality is next level), and the drinks are top-tier. Bring your A-Game, then lose it to the booze and music. No ones judging. Great times, youll have a blast.
Very poor experience unfortunately. Was very excited due to the Resident Advisor article, arrived early and waited 1.5hr with my girlfriend without anybody in the line except VIPs allowed in. Clearly a spot only for friends of the owners at the moment or people willing to pay $1000+ and the “line” is purely to create an image of a hot location. Shoutout to the bouncer who told us that the line wasn’t real though and that they’d only be letting in VIP for another 90+ minutes.
Incredible design, music and staff - finally some much needed new life into NYC nightlife, unique in all the ways you’d hope.A testament to the staff - I asked for a bottle of chilled red wine from the bar during peak hours on a very full Saturday night - certainly an uncommon request at this time for an establishment like this. They did not have any reds in fridge, so instead the bartender threw it in a bucket and slowly poured ice and cold water over it, ferociously hand spinning the bottle until every mL of grape juice was chilled from cork to bottom. This level of service outperforms most Michelin restaurants I’ve dined at.To address some of these hilarious 1-star reviews regarding not being able get in, we’ll duh - it’s a smaller venue with a lot of buzz right now. Like any prominent new club receiving a bunch of good press, it goes without saying anyone trying to enter for the first time should (a) inquire about the guest list in advance through friends / clubs’s social media or (b) show up early and make small talk with the doormen, goes a long way and Donté is one of the best humans in NYC.
If youre looking for an incredible night out in NY, look no further. This place is absolutely amazing, with an unbeatable atmosphere & top-notch music program. The lighting and sound systems are out of this world. Highly recommend!
I came here two weekends in a row and waited 35 minutes both times. Your bouncers are rude, elitist, and kicked us out of the front of the line both times for bizarre reasons: 1) we “didn’t know who was playing” despite the fact that no one was listed on the website or instagram and 2) “we have to let 50 people to come out to let 2 girls in.” I asked the bouncer if he was going to let us (two girls) in and he patted me on the shoulder with his man hand and said “Just a second, young lady.” It was demeaning. Your club is not worth it and is, i’ve heard, overhyped. There is no reason to treat people this way other than a ridiculous ego trip. Cop behavior. I regret waiting both times and this place is not worth even a second look standing on the street.
Decided to try this new place out since we have heard great things about it potentially being a new hot spot in the city. We weren’t on the guest list, but showed up early enough to wait in line to get in. The line was not moving at all, so we asked the bouncers how much time we would have to wait & they said for us to come up front and wait as the guy managing the door would be there soon. The guy managing the door, a guy named Donte, comes out and completely ignores our group of 5 girls. The bouncers kept telling us to wait, and we would get in eventually. But, we overheard the bouncers tell Donte that they felt bad for having us wait for so long (almost an hour at this point) and Donte whispering to them back “I don’t”. At this point my group felt so disrespected, as we frequent many NYC hotspots & have never been treated so poorly at the door. The lack of communication between the bouncers and Donte is horrible, and has led my group to never want to come to Outer Heaven. It would have just been better to be told up front that we couldn’t be let in, so we didn’t have to waste our night away waiting in line for someone that clearly is on a power trip. I would not recommend coming here if you are a girl, because Donte only let in groups of men and will turn away most girls at the door.
Micro club, macro fun! This NYC nightclub may be small, but it packs a punch with the best drinks around and a top-notch sound system (designed by the guys from Output (RIP)) If youre looking for a night out with some seriously good drinks and beats, this is for you. Every detail was thoughtfully designed and it shows. NYC needed this.
Do not go to the place, horrendous vibes. Waited patiently and respectfully by myself for 90 mins in the queue whilst watching plastic influencers and men flashing their cash to the bouncers to jump straight in. A good party doesnt decide entry based on the way you look or how expensive your clothes are. An embarrassment. Was told at the front that I would have to wait another 90mins, but if I was willing to front $2500 that would change their mind... wow
This is a great club. Had a blast here, management was very nice as well as the bartenders. DJs had the place bumping and the sound system was great. Cant recommend Outer Heaven enough.
The energy of the people & the vibes of the space here are immaculate. Between the music, sound system, drinks, there is no place like it in nyc. It’s clear this team put intention and creativity into the ENTIRE experience!! Come as you are and have fun, you won’t regret it
Wish I could give this place negative stars. This is a fake “club”. Super judgmental staff and the people who go here are not going for the music. There are SO many better spaces in NYC or Brooklyn for a fraction of the wait time and without having to deal with bouncers on a MAJOR power trip (so embarrassing). If you really care about the music, I strongly recommend heading over to Brooklyn where the real parties are (Good Room, Elsewhere, Paragon, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Mood Ring, Jupiter Disco, Silo, Nowadays, House of Yes, Public Records, Basement, Quantum and Bogart House). But if you enjoy going to cheugy new places where they hung 1 disco ball and call themselves a club and where you have to wait in line for 1.5+ hours next to creepy bouncers on power trips… only to be surrounded by mid Brads and Chads once inside… then go right ahead!
I have mixed feelings about this place because I knew the place before -- it was a nice, mellow decompression chamber from the Box back in the day. That said, theyve done a really great job with the sound system, and the design.
Had really high hopes for this place given all of the five star reviews. Turned out to be your average NY nightlife vibe in terms of the “scene”. Lets see…non-sensical lines to drum up hype, women flirting with the front door guys who wouldn’t get a second look outside of their limited positions of power, etc. What was most entertaining about this place was the front door gate keeper who unironically looked like a character straight out of Zoolander with his bowl cut, surfing sunglasses and puffer jacket.Oh, and Victor, you may want to hire bouncers who are more discreet about doing open air drug sales in front of patrons for your businesses sake. He may have thought he was being stealthy about it…but he wasn’t. Gotta give it to him to try and rock that Studio 54 vibe, but this establishment isn’t that.
If you are a fan of good cocktails, solid tunes and a good vibe with a more mature crowd, this is your spot. Pricy but niche mezcal and the best new lounge that has opened in a while, and rare for LES. If you’re a fan of Public Records, Eavesdrop, Honeycomb, Hi-note etc. give this a try
Sound is the best there is in Manhattan. Cocktails are on par with some of the best mixologists in the world. The staff is kind and the music is soooooo damn good. #1 on my list in New York.
Music is always on point. Sound system is killer. NYC needed a place like this!! Place has great aesthetic, a lot of attention to detail, and vibes are immaculate 👽🪐Will be back soon and often!!
Best place to celebrate your weekend with amazing vibe and drinks. The DJs and music always top notch. Currently my favorite bar/club. Very clean and organized.
Been waiting for a place like this for a long time. If you are an audiofile and/or love great cocktail, Outer heaven is it. The sound is incredible, and theyve been booking great talent. Just wow
This place is for audiophiles. The sound system is absolutely bangin, and they have amazing DJs. If you are tired of the burning man vibes at gospel and want something edgy without having to go to bushwick, Outer Heaven is for you.
Security guy subjectively decides if he wants to charge $0 - $300 per person depending on the person’s looks
Unlike anything Manhattan has seen in my lifetime, and desperately needed. Dont just come to party, go to indulge, appreciate the details from lighting to decor & bliss out on a masterfully tuned Danley to some of New Yorks favorite selectors. Only 3 weeks in and already carving out a unique little spot of NYs nightlife scene. Sure, we all like a down and dirty rave sometimes, Im here for it...but sometimes you wanna have an espresso martini while you do it, and Outer Heaven is here for that too. Throw in a game of Marvel vs. Capcom while you wait for the bathroom and go home with handful of indie and classic comic books to read in the morning, youve got a winner.
Went around 11pm. No clear entrance. Asked the door person if this was correct entrance with no signage. Was told I was “too drunk to enter” though I had only briefly interacted with door personnel. Turned away without entrance.
The staff is exceptional (shouts to Dante 👽) and the vibes here are everything. Reminded me of how it felt walking into Cielo for the 1st time. A sound system ahead of it’s time, DJ AM golden age.
NYC needed Outer Heaven!! Drinks are phenomenal (particularly ‘Death Note’). And if you appreciate great music & vibes, the sound system completely transports you.
Best in class sound system & visuals. Beverage program is one of the most unique in the city. This place is set up to be the big thing in the space.
Sickest cocktail lounge in NYC. Nowhere else in the city can you enjoy amazing cocktails, sake and Mezcal while experiencing world class djs in such an intimate setting.
Currently the best spot to party in the city.Amazing cocktails, super friendly and experienced staff go out of their way to make you feel at home.
Never been ignored in a club line with 4 people in it for over an hour. Lame. Don’t waste your time
Was tripping on ambien so don’t remember too much. Awesome grippy corridors and 10/10 coat check girl. Would’ve giving a 5/5 but had to give it to the coat girl… “I member”
To have a “no shorts” policy in June is interesting….
Don’t ever come here. Came for the first time with a friend and the bouncer refused to let us inside after waiting 30 minutes in line because we are white as he said.
This place is dope. Incredibly good vibes, music is a 10 and the aesthetic is v beautiful. Thank you Outer Heaven, NYC needed you. Go here and dance yall.
Security is highly not inclusive, basing entrance only on gender. Worst place ever.
Best new nightlife venue in NYC. Featuring a cutting edge sound system, elevated modern aesthetic, subtle pop culture references, and immaculate vibes; this is not one to be missed!
Outer Heaven is the Michelin star of New Nightlife in NYC. Every detail reeks of a meticulous labor of love while being both carefree and curated like the omakazi counter of an underground tokyo sushi bar. Mulqueen and his team have another hit on their hands and I can’t wait to see what other tricks lie on the other side the the DJ booth.
Can always count on outer heaven for good music
Easily the best spot in NYC with the best staff, drinks, aesthetic, and music. With the best sound system in the city for that music to be heard. Perfect vibe.
An indescribable cocktail and clubbing experience. In love with the robust selection of sakes, vibrant music, and diligent staff. This is my weekly reprieve.
Beautiful interior with great service. We arrived a bit early at 6pm so there was no vibe yet, but looking forward to trying this place out at a later time for the party.
Very clean and beautiful interior. Fun arcade games. Really nice bathrooms.Pretty expensive but I guess thats the price you pay.
Coat check is the best part 🥰🥰 tip herrrrr she is so nice
Fantastic experience with an incredible sound system and great cocktails. Staff was friendly and bouncers moved people in swiftly.
One of a kind experience in New York City - amazing cocktails, music, and overall atmosphere. Guaranteed to have a great night out for any occasion!
Best drinks and atmosphere. Club is highly curated. Great date spot in the lounge even better going out spot in the club area.
Incredible music, ambiance and cocktails. This place serves as an incredible nightclub or a great spot to grab a drink after work.
Lovely new spot for music enthusiasts in NYC. Custom sound system with an amazing beverage selection. Highly recommended!
Bad experience at door. Long lines in attempt to push table sales. Nice dj curation. Get put on a list or go somewhere else. Don’t wait in line.
Best nightclub in New York City which must put it in contention for best nightclub in the world. And I have been to many.
A sublime experience from beginning to end. Amazing crowd, attentive staff, sound system amazing, try all the sakes and finish with a mezcal.
A generational nightlife concept in lower Manhattan. From the music, the cocktails, the ambiance… everything hits its mark. If you are fortunate enough to be permitted entry, you are in for a marvelous night.
Incredible venue with amazing sound system, great music and out of town talent on the weekends, with an exquisite selection of cocktails and drinks.
The best place to go out with friends! Everyone there is hot and nice. Great drinks, vibes, and music :)
Hands down the best sound system in NYC. Intimate vibes paired with quality music. Cant wait to go back!
The new go-to. Incredible DJs, great cocktails, and innovative design. 11/10 recommend!
NYC needed this!!! Beautiful venue with incredible music and vibes. The best thing to happen to NY since prohibition ended.
Guy named Big Boss blocked the exit and tried to make me fight him in order to leave
One of the best clubs in NY… The sounds, drinks, people. Amazing nights to be had here 🫠🫠
A generational nightlife concept. Drinks, music, ambiance, crowd. All top notch. A new heyday is now.
Great sound-system and well designed interior, sort of feels like a GTA5 nightclub.
Great sound system 👍
Amazing cocktail bar + club. Love the staff and the music is the best in nyc!
If you like a surplus of baddies and fire martinis- this is the place for you. Don’t go here if you dislike 5-1 girl to guy ratio and fire music.
Terrible door man. No line and refused entry. Said to come back another night. Save your money and go elsewhere. Lame. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Dont come here if youre a POC, bouncer doesnt let anyone in unless they pass the brown paper bag test
Top notch sound. Great spot for cocktails at the record bar or a proper night out dancing
Amazing new spot for great drinks and unparalleled vibes. Guaranteed to dance all night.
This place always has the best vibes & the kindest staff/ DJS!! My favorite new spot in NYC
Probably the best sound in Manhattan, and with great cocktails. Crazy this place didnt exist before.
Fun atmosphere. Music is bomb. Drinks good but a little overpriced
Waited 2 hours at the door while they let in so many people who had “reservations”. No explanation. Waste of time. Don’t come here
Great music and drink options. Not too crowded inside. Great aesthetic!
Spectacular sound, creative cocktails and a cool curated crowd. The best vibes
Hi-Fi sound, beautiful art, crazy attention to detail, vinyl-friendly, and music-focused 😎

Obsessed - amazing vibe, the best music/DJs and drinks!
The inside is much too mediocre for the bouncer to be behaving the way he does
Best nightclub experience in NYC. Truly out of this world
