Ive been going to Anso Med Spa for many years - for as long as they have been in NYC, and cannot recommend them enough! Both Ann and Sofia give the best facials Ive ever had and go above and beyond to tailor your treatment to your skin. Ive also had laser treatments which have produced great results without the need for fillers. I try to get a facial every couple months which has helped me to maintain a healthy, youthful appearance in middle age. Ann and Sofia are the best!

What a diamond of a find ! I took advantage of the first time client discount and fell in love with my service. I chose a Deep cleaning facial which was superb . The extraction process wasn’t that painful and the cryo- like really cold mask was the perfect touch after the extractions. I received so many compliments on how refreshed I look. It’s all about those hands that Sofia has !!!!I am now going to be a regular client.

I have always struggled with acne, and I’m so happy I found anso in NYC! It has been a week since my facial, I have not had one new spot and all my existing acne quickly began to clear up! Also - this salon has incredible non-surgical lasers that can give you plumper lips and wrinkle-free skin without any of the needles.

I’ve been going to Sofia since I moved to New York a few years ago and have always had an amazing experience! I was away the last year due to travels, but just returned yesterday for a hydrofacial and my skin felt and looked so much better immediately. The space is nice, the experience is always relaxing, and it is great upkeep for my skin. So happy to be back!

Sofia is very accommodating and knowledgeable. My skin did look better after the use of her products and extractions. Keep in mind any white pimple that already has red inflammation wont be extracted. Communication via text is prompt!

I did the first facial special at ANSO and it was amazing. I got a full 45 minute facial which included a great facial lymphatic drainage and neck/chest massage as a bonus. I left feeling relaxed with my face glowing and snatched.

It does take some trial and error to find the perfect fit. Luckily, I finally found my perfect Med Spa. What stands out to me the most is how Sophia listens and takes into account all your skin concerns, lifestyle and diet, skincare routine, etc and uses al of that to identify what treatment would work best for you. All the treatments Ive had in the last 3 or so years have really worked for me and they have the most lasting effects in comparison to all the other med spas Ive gone to. She also carries only the best facial products that targets most skin problems such as acne, pigmentation, dullness, etc. I have learned to make it a point to try products that she recommends for me - IT ALWAYS WORKS FOR THE BEST. Ive never regretted a single one and they last for a long time.The facial treatments are soothing and relaxing. Anne, the resident masseuse expert extraordinaire does that best neck and shoulder massage in combination with the facial treatments. Eventually I tried her lymphatic body massage and my life changed for the better. I dont know what Id do without her. As a healthcare worker myself, this place is my sanctuary. I love Anne and Sophia like family because thats what they have always made me feel.

Im in my 2nd trimester and needed some serious TLC after having severe breakouts in the 1st trimester. I’ve been going to Anso Med Spa monthly for the past 4 months and I cannot recommend this place enough to my friends. Sofia and Angela are meticulous and thoughtful esthetician, you always know that you are in good hands with them. Ann is also a magician on the massage table. Knowing she has years of experience being a renown acupuncturist in China back in the day makes sense cause she really feels out where your personal problem areas are and helps you work on them.

Sofias depth of knowledge and care is unparalleled. Ive had a few of her custom hydrafacials plus extractions, followed her advice, and its completely cleared up my adult acne. Im SO thankful and relieved to have found this place! I also sent a girlfriend for a facial, and she came out all glowy and equally impressed.

I highly recommend getting Fotona4D here. I have done it twice with Sofia. She is super professional in customizing individual needs via Fotona. I can feel face is definitely more up and firm while texture is also improved. I like the result very much. Fotona is milder than ultherapy so it’s suitable for more people.

Sofia is extremely talented and knowledgeable. I am a month away from my wedding and started breaking out very badly. My skin became really irritable after using retinol. I was on a strict skincare regimen but was going nowhere with my skin. Sofia understood my concerns and she took her time and suggested the perfect facial. She did my facial and recommended some products which I am using daily. In a week from the facial, my active acne has completely gone and have a few acne scars which are already fading. I had an amazing experience here and it was all thanks to Sofia and her staffs. They were welcoming and attentive when I arrived. Sofia is very passionate about the services she provided, and provided helpful tips regarding my skin concerns (currently experiencing active acne).I had the Fotona 4D Active Acne + Scar facial and highly recommend it if you want to try something different to handling active acne and acne pigments. No squeezing and popping acnes, this facial treatment uses laser to treat it instead. The laser would leave a warm prickly/tingling sensation on my skin. After the laser, I had a mask and moisturizer to help cool my skin. When I finished, I noticed my acne wasnt as inflamed and the swelling went down.Other places where I would get facials at, I would leave with some redness and evidence of having a facial. That was not the case here as Sofia made sure I would leave with a glowing healthy skin. I highly recommend this place and the treatment!

Sofia is the best! She curated my hydrafacial to my individual skincare needs and educated me on the active ingredients which best suit my skin type. I have very sensitive skin and was not irritated at all after my treatment and am loving the products she recommended to enhance my treatment results

I made an appointment and got a hydrafacial glow and an add on treatment. And it was amazing ! It’s very relaxing place and Clean as well. I would recommend this place to my friends . I booked a massage and facial during my birthday trip to NYC, and I loved every single moment of it! The massage put me into a trance, and the facial merely continued the relaxing sensation. I had my first facial with Sofia last night and it was a FANTASTIC experience. I was 3 facials out from my wedding day so we built a skin plan together for my pre-wedding day prep and Im super excited for my next two facials!! We did some manual extractions as well to make sure we got everything out - she was squeezing in places I didnt even know needed to be squeezed!! Your skin is in great hands with these professionals. I have facials often and splurge when I travel staying at 5-star resorts. I’ve spent a fortune at places like Christine Chin, JTAV in the quest for a great facial that keeps my aging skin healthy. An important element of the facial is effective and thorough extractions. Anso did not disappoint. My facial with Sofia left my skin looking as great as any of those top spas. I brought my almost 17-yr old son who had typical teenage acne and I wanted him to start taking care of his skin. She gave us both extractions that made our skin so clean. My skin looked great leaving and continued looking great after. My son’s skin looked a bit red when leaving — he had a good amount of acne — but cleared up overnight and looked better than it has in some time. She even sent him him with spot treatment to try. We also added massages and the masseuse we had specialized in deep tissue. I wish I had booked a longer one! We will be back soon!

No frills place but dont care when the facials are just that good! Sophia is kind, knowledgeable, and did an amazing job on my face. I have very sensitive skin and she worked wonders! I have been getting facials with Ann Sofia since before the pandemic. I returned last weekend with recently diagnosed rosacea hoping for some magic facial that wouldn’t make me turn red. They had products specifically for rosacea and did gentle exfoliating that didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. When I looked in the mirror after the treatment I most definitely expected to be beat red and to My surprise saw glowing clear skin. I purchased a packaged that will get me through the year! I wouldn’t go anywhere else to get a facial with rosacea. They are great!

After the place I used to go closed it took me a while to find a good place, and I’m happy I found this one. I love Sofia’s treatments, and how she really takes care of your skin and has the best recommendations for your face. I highly recommend going!

Thank you.11/18/2023 Update: I have been coming to Anso Med Spa for over two years and have followed them to their new location when they moved. Each time I come for the Hydro Magic Facial with Oxygen Spray with Dermaplaning done every other facial. Clean and bright facility. Sofia and her team take great care with my skin and explaining the steps of my facial. They tell me how my skin is doing and if anything needs to be changed or continue with my skin regimen. I come every three months and each time does not disappoint when I walk out skin glowing and feeling refreshed.

You never know what to expect when you try out a new spa, particularly when you purchase off of Groupon. I went into this appointment feeling awful and not expecting much, however I couldn’t have been more wrong. The interior of the building is lovely, of course, but the facial and extractions I received from Sophia left me thinking, okay this is really what is meant about “self-care”. I purchased the water facial and Sophia did an amazing job on my skin. The extractions were wonderful and my skin is still glowing. I was so happy and impressed that before i left I purchase three more facials for both me and family members.Bottom line: it’s been a hard few years for all of us. Treat yourself well and come to Anne and Sophia for a facial. I know I will be adding them to my monthly beauty routine.

This is a review for the hydrafacial deluxe treatment. It was a great experience, Sofia was explaining every step. She invested in the latest technology, and the quality of products and treatment are so professional. Even the sheets were temperatured to suit the level of comfort. During resting times, you get a wonderful lymphatic massage for face, neck, and back. I highly recommend her services and will be back.

I had a deep cleansing facial with Natia and she was phenomenal. Natia checked in throughout my session and even followed up the next day to ensure I was happy with the results and I am. She offered advice and recommended some products for everyday use and it was all very reasonable. I will definitely be back!

I’ve been coming here for a couple years and I’ve always been very satisfied and beyond happy with the treatments and service. They really do care for your well being. My favorite facial treatment right now is the Fotana Laser. I’ve been coming in for acne treatment and acne scarring. It’s MUCH BETTER than your typical microneedling needle. I love the laser. It’s quick, efficient, bearable, has a cooling air blower to cool areas of your face as needed. The downtime was faster for me. I had a medium sized pimple/scar on my right cheek and i was shocked to see that it disappeared pretty quickly. I’m very excited for my second appointment soon! I’ve been feeling very insecure, ugly, and depressed lately over how bad my acne scarring had gotten because of cystic acne I had in college and my early 20s. Most of my acne is under control now and I’m really looking forward to improving my skin.

Amazing experience with amazing women! I got a massage with Ann as well as a facial with Nnena, and both were so relaxing and thorough. Nnena started off with an examination of my skin, ensuring that my facial was appropriate for my skin type. She fully explained everything she was doing and what I should be doing even in daily life, which was super helpful, above and beyond what I normally expect.I wasnt directly treated by Sofia, but she examined my face and told me exactly what I needed. Very professional and kind, as well as extremely knowledgeable. My mom was treated by Sofia twice, both customized to my moms exact needs, and my mom has glowing reviews. She is very skeptical of skin treatments but was transformed by her experience with Sofia and feels super healed.

I purchased a Groupon. I’m an not typically impressed by facials but this was the best facial I have ever gotten. Jade was supposed to be doing my facial but another woman actually did it. I was not disappointed! There was a slight language Barrier but she was saw very professional and super nice. I liked it so much that I purchased 3 more before leaving and I live in another state. Speaking of it is very easy to get to off of the path train. Just a 5 min walk.

Had a wonderful experience at this spa, would say this is the best facial Ive had and most involved. I ended up with a hydro facial and added on dermaplanning and LED light. The wonderful employee spent so much time and attention on my skin. The biggest two difference that I noticed is that she actually took the time to perform extractions on my skin, many places dont because I have small black heads and theyve said its unnecessary. The second is she massages my face to promote circulation and it felt amazing. I have sensitive skin and I didnt have a single reaction to anything applied to my face. I loved it so much I bought a package, which Ive never done before. Highly recommend this spa to anyone.

I’ve been going to Ann Sofia for a few years for hydrafacial my skin comes out dewy and flawless and the massage during the facial is wildly restorative. 10/10 recommend.

I went in for a hydra facial, which is normally $150, but was discounted to $79 for new customers. I added on the LED light and extraction full treatment services (which, once I arrived, I found out those were also 30% off for new customers!!) and I had an absolutely fantastic experience. My esthetician was extremely thorough and took her time to take care of my skin. The LED session is supposed to be only 10 minutes, but she gave me 20 and then gave me a massage during it. The experience felt extremely luxurious as well, because the space is lovely and they provide you free water, but during my facial, my esthetician used a large variety of tools, masks and treatments that I didnt even know came with my service. My skin, which can be quite sensitive, was calm, clean and glowing afterward. I recommend coming here if you want a thorough and luxurious experience at a discounted price!

I like to have a plan. The facial was great. The face and neck massage was AMAZING!!!! I left with such glowing skin.

Despite my appointment starting 20 minutes late, I’m going to tell you this is the best facial I’ve ever had!Sophia was very thorough and addressed what my skin needed (‘decongesting’ and moisture). She spent a good amount of time massaging face, neck and head which felt amazing.

I always get nervous going somewhere new for a facial especially with extractions but my skin felt and looked amazing after the hydra facial. The esthetician examined my skin thoroughly. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because although the facial itself was amazing, there was a little bit of unprofessionalism my esthetician had marks on her neck and it didn’t give off a great look, a little makeup never hurt nobody.Will definitely be back, hoping for a more rounded out professional experience.

I attended Ann +sofia to get a Facial . I read amazing reviews online so I decided to go for it. The place is amazing, great service! The Facial was calming and relaxing. It was the aftermath that went south. By the time I got home , I started to break out really bad all over my face. As if I had just hit puberty. I know this is a sign that my pores were clogged and the face stimulation made them come out, but the break out didnt stop until a couple of days later. You are not supposed to break out after a facial, but its okay with you do.( Its supposed to be a sign that my pores were cleaned out) . I am not giving the five stars because although is okay to break out , its really the experts choice to pick a facial that best fits the skin type. I was given the wrong facial with over stimulation for my skin type which is what made me break out.

These two are angels from heaven! I was suffering from bad acne breakouts due to my diet & stress. These two are the duo team I needed! Sofia hydro sucked out my dead skin and clogged pores, but it was on a setting that wasnt too powerful, which I was so grateful for because my skin is sensitive & doesnt like anything to invasive. This was a calming treatment with natural, soft products. Then I had a deep tissue massage from her mother, Ann. Ann is a goddess in Chinese medicine, she cured my skin from the inside out, getting rid of my inflammation in my face. Highly recommend? Thats an understatement! I have been going to Ann+Sofia for years and always receive a quality facial from Sofia herself. She is friendly, professional, and thorough. Sofia asks questions at the beginning of every facial for areas to focus on, varying treatments, etc. I have recommended to several friends.

Sofia was able to fit me for an earlier session which I was everso grateful for. The heat was making my skin breakout which is bad on dark skin. Add to suffering of having oily skin especially around the tzone area. I booked the hydrofacial which is a 60 minute session. I found the deal from Groupon. Sofia was informative at the start of the session and made sure to ask me about my concerns and what products Im currently using . She was not pushy with any sale tactics whatsoever. Even recommended microneedling for my acne scars but suggested to have the sessions in the cooler months since my skin would be sensitive.I added the dermaplane ( its when your skin is scraped to remove facial hair and deadskin). Unfortunately I will not add such session because part of my face broke out 😞. Luckily I have glycolic pads home. I also received facial massage ( not an overall fan of massages) but it necessary to drain the lymph nodes. Sofia did inform me since the skin take about 30 days to revitalize that I would see additional enhancement. Immediate difference was glowy and baby soft skin. At the end of session the gentleman wrapped out final charges and asked if I wanted to hear about the specials running for new clients . I went ahead booked two more sessions. I appreciated the service received.

This was the the first facial I had gotten in a while and I got a Hydrofacial with extractions. Ling was great in explaining the process throughout and paying attention to my problem areas. Felt super relaxed and comfortable throughout the whole facial almost fell asleep. Noticed an immediate difference even days after. Will definitely be returning.

I’ve had facials and now in the process of laser hair removal and I’m so happy with the results. They are very thorough and check in after each laser appointment to make sure everything is okay. I’ve gone to 4 sessions so far and I’m very happy with the results.

I’m very pleased with the results of my facial. Sofia suggested I add on deplaning. It has brighten up my skin and remove sun spots on my cheekbones! She also added an eye treatment which got rid of the dark circles. I look younger and that was my goal. So I am very, very happy with the results.

I had a long overdue facial after the pandemic and it was sheer bliss. The aesthetician was knowledgeable and did a wonderfully relaxing face and neck massage. I literally left the place glowing and feeling 10 years younger!

While the experience seemed actually fine at the time, the end result was a travesty. Since it wasnt disputed, it appears that the equipment was not properly cleaned and my face broke out horribly, to include a cold sore, the first I have ever experienced in my lifetime. I had purchased two future facials at the same time, and while I was refunded for the future facials, the refund was only partial. It was suggested that there was a processing fee, however this would be inconsistent with the fact that a one time processing fee was applied to the service I received on that date and no additional fees were incurred for the addition of future services. Despite the facial breakout and blister, the request to have the fee for the facial service was also denied. Quite the unfortunate experience that I am still working to recover from. Sanitization is a must and Ann + Sofia Beauty failed horribly.

Been getting a massage here every month, love my masseuse because she uses deep pressure and really gets my knots out. Before the session you can tell her which area to focus on she will focus on that. I feel sooo relaxed when I walk out.

Finally a real deep tissue massage that was deep. I requested firm pressure and the massage therapist delivered. She got every knot out and broke all the tissue down. I also got a great offering for my first time visit. I will be coming again to try their other services.

I’ve been to this studio two times so far. The stuff is friendly and helpful, everything clean and sanitized, nice restrooms. The growth slowed down already, so I keep going there every month to minimize the quantity and speed of growth of my hair.
