Surprisingly different than the last cheaper massage spa in same location in the past. Just opened this location a couple weeks ago with calssy renovations and furniture. The higher prices come with amazing deep tissue massage that really helped my aching back. I found my new massage day spa. Lainey is amazing and worth every penny. Congrats on new business and I will be back, as I now tell everyone I know.

Want to highly recommend Lainey for a wonderful massage that was so relaxing and also addressed a lower leg issue I was having near my achilles tendon. My hamstrings were so tight and she incorporated hot stones without me even asking. Prices are reasonable and service is great. Also Lainey is a very chill person which contributes to the relaxation of the massage!

Loved my experience here! Today was the first time Ive attended this spa along I was very pleased with their services! They were very accommodating and fitting me into their schedule last minute!The staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable about what they were doing. However, I got a Swedish massage and a facial. Lainey was very gentle and letting me know what areas I was tensed at.Daniel was great and talked through everything he did. He also worked heavily on my problem areas which i really appreciated and educated me on those areas, as well as beneficial treatments. The staff did a wonderful job at making me feel comfortable and relaxed.

This was my second massage with Lainey and I regret not coming back sooner! My job has left me with constant neck and hand pain that has improved significantly after just 1 massage. Ill definitely be coming back soon!

Profesional licensed massage therapist do a fantastic job releasing my pain. Best deep tissue around. The owner really cares and knows the body like a doctor. This is my favorite massage place.

Lainey is an amazing massage therapist and I feel much better after her treatment. My back has been sore for days, but after her deep tissue massage, I feel stretched and relaxed.

I was long overdue a spa treatment so decided to treat myself to a facial/massage day and this place delivered! My facialist was Daniel and I was so impressed by the amount of care and time he took to make sure I left there glowing! By far one of the best facials Ive had yet. I also very much enjoyed my relaxing massage it was just what I needed. Highly recommend👍👍.

2nd experience: I decided to treat my mother to a massage and bought a gift card. I set up the appointment with no problem. My mom shows up the day of only to realize they will not honor the gift card (was purchased a few months from the date booked). My hard earned money wasted since gift card was not accepted. This is truly disheartening. I wont ever return here and have advised my family to steer clear of this place. I tried to address with the receptionist over the phone but this issue was never resolved, nor did I get my money back. Im very disappointed.1st experience: She was very kind and provided me with a good deep tissue massage. However I waited a while to be greeted when I first came into the shop (I believe she was finishing up a massage which is fine).But during my massage someone came in and she left me to tend to them. I understand customer service is important and can be difficult to juggle at times but it would be best if there was another person at the front desk to handle walk ins or other situations that can interrupt massages already in progress.

Hands down, the BEST massage I have ever had. Laney was amazing and gave me the most detailed, focused massage ever. Some places just go through the motions and the massage feels disconnected and routine. Not at all here at Relax Day Spa, she knew and felt my muscle areas in need and tailored the massage to focus on those problem areas all without saying a word which maintained the zen feeling. My entire body was relieved and relaxed, definitely recommending and returning! Great prices as well!

What can I say, I had a really great experience at this day spa! This weekend I celebrated my birthday, and what better way to do it , but at Relax! Take a look online at what they offer and call if you need clarification!The front desk area was very helpful setting up appointments and accommodating a group of 4. The facial I received was thorough and the massage therapist was awesome! I left feeling really “relaxed”. The whole experience from scheduling to the experience was a breeze, no stress involved. And for such short notice, they were able to accommodate! I highly recommend.Support your local businesses and spend a day here!

The BEST massage I have ever had! I had a pain RELIEVING experience with Laney—the owner and masseuse. Using a combination of deep tissue massage with traditional Chinese “scraping,” I left feeling relaxed and no longer stiff. Laney customized her massage to my body type (the amount of pressure I could comfortably tolerate) and needs (scraping, as opposed to the hot stones she applied to my daughter or the cupping she applied to my husband). I have already booked my next appointment.

First time there with my spouse. Very friendly service. I had the deep tissue and my spouse had the Swedish massage. Both were good, decor was neutral, could use a little more updating, but for a fairly new business. Id go back again.

This was the perfect massage to come back to after many months of no massages (thank you, covid). My body needed A LOT of love and the massage was exactly what it needed. I plan to go back again soon! Also very clean and professional - and I got a last minute appointment which I always appreciate. Highly recommended!

I was traveling in NJ and my back was wrenched from sitting too long. I typically dont get work done unless its from my masseuse at home, Im particular and I have some trouble spots on my back that they need to take special care with. The spa was extremely clean and the staff was friendly and inviting. This wound up being the first time in several years that I was completely satisfied with a massage from anywhere other than my hometown spa, I highly recommend them!

My mom and I both got deep tissue massages in separate areas and it was phenomenal! So relaxing and the music here is very soothing and puts you at ease. I’m naturally a tense person so massages aren’t really my thing but they were very welcoming and put us both at ease.

An amazing massage. I didnt get the name of my masseur, but he really listened to my bodys needs, spending time on the parts of my upper back that held the most tension. I got a couples massage on Groupon and I will definitely be coming back! :)

I went through a Groupon with my mother. I had bought it for her and her boyfriend but he has been sick so I drove from NYC to take my mother. It was an expired voucher but it states CLEARLY in the Groupon right next to the voucher that I may still use it or use the dollars I paid as credit even if it is expired. I made an appointment a month in advance because their masseuses were out for holiday. I gave them my voucher number over the phone. I arrived 30 min early, and gave them my voucher. They would not accept it. I showed them the print on the app that says I can still use it. The woman at the counter kept proclaiming she couldn’t. She then rudely yelled at me saying that there was a customer in the back. I looked at her and said I was a customer and deserved better customer service. She told me to leave. I have NEVER been treated so poorly She didn’t offer to call her boss. She didn’t give me any other options. This business is based off service of which they have very little respect for. NEVER GOING HERE. EVER

I was in the area with time to waste/neck bothering me. I looked up spas in the area and Relax was suggested. I am so happy I found this place! Masseuse was very professional /did a great job. I came with a headache and left feeling much better. She also had much knowledge of reflexology.I definitely suggest this place!

I had a prenatal massage. The environment was very relaxing and my masseuse was very professional; checking in to ensure I was comfortable throughout my massage. I will definitely return for another.

The massage was what I needed. However, I used a Groupon purchased by my husband. Make sure you take extra money. The tax for the groupon was five dollars. And 15% for the masseuse. Wasnt prepared!!!! I will go back because the service was great.

This was the ABSOLUTE WORST BUSINESS ever.. This was my first experience with this establishment. I made a groupon purchase prior to me calling to schedule an appointment by phone. I spoke with the receptionist informing him that I wanted a couple’s 60 minute massage. He gave me a price of $118.00 I agreed as I was scheduled me 6/17/19 at 4:30pm. Upon my arrival at 4:25pm he requested a form of payment. The moment I pulled my phone out, he was annoyed and told me I should’ve told him I had a groupon. He went to the back of the spa then returned stating that HE WAS CLOSED bc I had a groupon. He then directed to a signs on the door which WAS CLOSED on Mondays.. I asked for accommodations which I was declined. If I would’ve pulled out $118.00 he would’ve rendered the services.. He’d rather lose a customer for a $ 17.00 difference. I wasted my time, my gas, and had paid for the Couple Services through Groupon. I decided to go back inside to gather the owner’s information. Once I got back inside, he was in the phone with the police, so I decided to pull up a chair until they arrived. THEY ARE HORRIBLE .. He made it seem as if I was an African American whom came into his establishment to scheme his company. He told the police that I was con artist and didn’t want to pay the money. He also stated that I wasn’t welcome back to their establishment as if I’d ever return. JUST DISGUSTING... Bottom line is if you have Groupon they are not interested they ONLY use GROUPON as an outlet to GATHER NEW PEOPLE. CASH a will get immediate services while groupon customers get pushed out a week.. DISGUSTING RACIST FOLK

I came here after seeing my chiropractor after 14 months with a serious shoulder problem. After 6 month of weekly treatments my shoulder is fabulous!!! I think of Relax day Spa as health maintenance which helps me relief stress and stay flu free.

First and foremost the facility is ultra clean . The spa personal are prompt , cordial , and my therapist was the best. My therapist was extremely knowledgeable about deep tissue massage and “cupping”. I will definitely be a regular client

Great day spa! Reasonably priced for very good service. I got a 30 minute deep tissue massage and would visit again for a 60 or 90 minute deep tissue massage.

SUBLIMEGreat customer care, in-depth knowledge and a bit of sass and charm. This wellness practice is a gem in an unexpected strip of Maplewood. Finding it has changed my life. I cant say enough about Nicole. Her expertise and precision are remedies for pain and mobility issues I thought I had to live with.

My massage therapist was very good her name was Coco thank you Coco what I didnt like was the paper thin walls you were able to hear the other clients conversations or whatever else was going on in their room
