Highly recommend this studio!!! We love Garincha, our classmates, and all the instructors! Even if you dont consider yourself a dancer, everyone will make you feel comfortable and youll have A LOT of fun. The Friday night dance parties are a great intro to the studio, too!! So inclusive, friendly, and understanding.

Very friendly, patient and knowledgeable instructors in all sorts of Latin dance. Usually have some dance parties with mini dance lessons on Friday nights. Group sessions are fun ways of learning. Youll learn a lot more with faster speed in private sessions.

West Philly Ballroom & Latin Dance is more than a studio but a community. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming to all types of people and all levels of dancers. They have really figured out how to bring people together and teach dance so that anyone can learn. I highly recommend checking them out.

I really love this spot. I just started with salsa classes a few weeks ago and I love that the instructors will step in if there are any lacks in leads or followers. The prices are very reasonable and all of the instructors are super knowledgeable. Their monthly parties are always a lot of fun and very helpful I try to make it out every time. The location is so convient by public transportation. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, and an amazing instructor.

This place is a beacon of light on Baltimore ave and a boon to the west philly community. They have multiplied the expressive cultural life of the neighborhood beyond measure, providing a joy-filled and safe place for people of all ages, interests, and abilities to make dance a part of their life. All of the instructors here are stellar and the staff does an excellent job of coordinating events and activities. Serge has been our instructor since spring and he has been a fun, good humored and talented teacher. We look forward to expanding our dance skills with WPBLD and have continue to recommend friends!

From the moment you enter and hear a shout out, hola and your name, youll know you are welcome at this studio. A diverse group of curious students and dynamic teachers come together seamlessly here. There are group classes and private lessons and dance events for all levels. In the few months that I have been dancing here, I have seen so many great moves, learned a lot, laughed out loud, and relaxed into the warm vibe. Go for a trial or a party or whatever is your groove, just go!

Amazing crew, everyone is Top Notch and experienced in multiple dance modalities. The team treats you like family. I have learned allot in my 4 months to where I know salsa, bachatta and going for tango next. You get endurance, strength, confidence and build many other skills while having fun.

I currently work at West Philly Ballroom and Latin Dance and absolutely love it here. It’s a very positive working environment. I constantly have a blast with the other staff members and of course our students. It is a very inclusive studio in the heart of West Philly and I could not imagine working anywhere else.

I have been a student here for several months. All the staff are very warm and encouraging. They regularly have beginner classes to get people started and are in the process of expanding. You can either just go to their semi-monthly parties, take group classes, or private lessons.

Great place to dance and meet new people! The instructors are fantastic! Very inclusive studio that is warm and welcoming to all. I feel so lucky to have found it!
