Had a wonderful experience at Skincare Lounge SPA! The space is absolutely beautiful and impressively clean. Staff was beyond friendly and knowledgeable! I had the Escape Package; 1 hour massage and 1 hour facial and both were amazing! They even gave me champagne and chocolate at the end! I will definitely be back the next time I’m looking for a relaxing day in the city! Highly recommend!

An exceptionally delightful way to enjoy a spa day!The treatment rooms are heavenly, with relaxing lighting which look like stars illuminating an evening sky. Warm candles illuminate the hallways, its all so relaxing.My aesthetician Linh Nguyen provided above and beyond service, with attention to detail. She listened to me, explained the steps of both treatments and what the desired results were for each, focused on areas that required extra attention, as well as suggesting products, treatments and exercises for at-home care. My services were personalized and I felt so cared for.The rejuvenating facial transformed my skin and left it smooth, hydrating and glowing.After the massage the tightness in my back and hips were gone.And then to continue to unwind in a candlit room with champagne and Godiva chocolates...perfect.The spa is chic, equipped with the latest in products and technology and the staff and the owner Anthony Guerrera are professional, friendly and welcoming.I so thoroughly enjoyed my spa day that I booked a service for next month at checkout.Highly recommend. Already referred friends. Cant wait to go back!

I received the royal treatment at Skincare Lounge SPA! My fiancé gifted me with a spa day for my birthday! Paula took care of me. She is so sweet, caring, and knowledgeable. I had a sauna blanket, a body scrub and mask, a body and head massage, a meal of my choosing (with a glass of champagne!), and a facial. I cant wait for my next visit with Paula! I felt so relaxed and my skin feels amazing. The ambiance here is so soothing and the staff really cared about giving me a great experience! Highly recommend!

My aesthetician, Linh gave me the most luxurious and detailed facial I ever had in my life. She was fabulous! The overall atmosphere of the spa is very relaxed and peaceful. I would recommend this spa for a luxury experience!

My wife and I booked the couples escape package. We were running late for our appointment due to amtrak delay. We called ahead to inform the spa and they were willing to accommodate our late arrival by moving our appointments back on fairly short notice. The champagne and chocolates were nice. Avvonlea provided an excellent hot stone massage and facial. My wife had Pauline who also provided a great massage and facial and was very knowledgeable. The spa was clean and inviting. I see there are some negative reviews regarding discrepancies between website/confirmation email prices and final bill. The website price for couples retreat states $295 which is also what the confirmation email stated we received. After tax and service fee our final bill was $339.25 (not including tips). We thought that was reasonable. Would recommend!

I had a deep tissue massage here with Lynn - she was great, and the spa itself was lovely! It’s hard to feel relaxed in the middle of the city but this place definitely does that. Can’t wait to come back!

I had a wonderful experience with Shaneece. She was professional, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I highly recommend her services honestly, she is truly a master at her craft 5 stars isn’t enough to accurately rate her skill set. My skin looks and feels amazing I couldnt be happier walking out of the spa with a radiant glow. Her attention to detail and personalized approach make her stand out from any other esthetician I’ve encountered (slay) and the owner, Anthony makes sure youre made to feel beautiful and confident the energy Anthony gives is so contagious. You will not be disappointed booking any skincare services here.

I had the Bio-cell facial with Andrea, and it was wonderful! Very relaxing and pleasant. Andrea asked about any concerns or problem areas and customized the facial to sensitive skin. She also made recommendations for a product to address skin issues. I felt very refreshed and pampered and will definitely recommend a facial here!

If you’re looking for a nice spa, this is the place to go. The staff is amazing. They provide a wide variety of services. I suffered from hyperpigmentation on my face and this spa helped me gain my confidence back by getting facials once a month. Oh, and how could I forget the owner! This place is gross and dingy. Low funky lights throw off the relaxing vibe. My massage was rough. The massage table was dragged across the floor a couple of times during my massage. Seemed like a massage u would get in a sketchy basement with the target rug as a pillow for knees. Masseuse was too chatty for a spa like experience. Nice but sorry this isn’t the place to chat it up. I’ve been to cleaner places for less the price.Update: they claim to have contacted me but I have never received a call or email back after I reached out. Yeaa this spot is worse than the weird Asian massage parlors I would rather go to than this fake led light overpriced spot.

I am an out of towner and skincare lounge Spa is a must on my places to stop in at in Philadelphia. I have visited three times now, from massages, couple package to facials.My massage therapist Val, is quite amazing and all of my chronic back, neck & nerve pain issues alway disappears and I feel anew. (Or floating on a cloud)All staff is very friendly, as soon as you walk through the door are you greeted by a friendly, welcoming, kindhearted person. The man at the front desk offers you number beverages. I was offered champagne to complete my experience. (A major plus in my books) and he always make sure the you are comfortable! The waiting room very chic and stylish, and every room massage has relaxing vibes. For the couples massage you are offered a a private room after service shocked champagne, fruit and other delicious goodies.Depending on the weekend they are booked and busy.Its an amazing experience!

I had a wonderful experience getting a purifying facial by Christine. She was so warm and welcoming, and provided me with recommendations on how to best care for my skin. My face felt completely refreshed. Will 100% be coming back!

I love the skincare lounge. I’ve been getting my waxes there monthly for the past 5 years. Shout out to Linh who does a perfect wax. Also they offer 5 Brazilian waxes for $200 which you literally can’t get better than that. I will never go anywhere else!

I booked a Brazilian wax and Brazilian smoothing treatment with Christine and it was amazing. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked into the spa and the moment I left. I’ve had plenty of Brazilian waxes before and they was painful. My wax with Christine was pleasant and didn’t hurt at all. The price for a Brazilian wax is very reasonable and worth every penny. This is the 2nd time I’ve seen Leeza in 2 weeks for a deep massage. I’ve been in full body discomfort and migraines. She was wonderful and really helped me. Firm but gentle. Highly recommend.

90 minute therapeutic deep tissue with Val (male) was amazing! I’m over 50 and have decades of massage experience; no one has ever been able to fully work out all my tightness and aches. I workout and need massages monthly. I’m now a Val fan and will be seeing him often!Also, my boyfriend had an incredible massage with Val’s mom Paula. Linh is the best! She’s very knowledgeable in getting the right skin treatment and products to use at home to maintain a healthy and glowing appearance. I highly recommend her!I only have one thing that didn’t left me kinda disappointed about the experience is that during the check out I got charged an extra $25 for service fee due to inflation. However this should be notified when booking. I couldn’t find it anywhere on the website nor my confirmation email.

Came in for a Valentine’s Day package that included a 75 minute massage & a facial. Leeza was my massage therapist. I carry a lot of stress and tension in my upper back, and they did an amazing job working out my knots and really focusing on my problem areas. Christine did my facial, it was my first one and she explained everything to me and made me very comfortable. Overall this experience really exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to return.

Ive been getting waxed here for a couple years now and always see Linh Nguyen. She is friendly, gentle, and very thorough. The spa feels relaxing and is very clean. The staff is always really welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend coming here!

My boyfriend and I booked the Couples Escape package which includes a 60 minute massage and 30 minute facial and a glass of champagne and chocolate. This was our first time getting a professional massage. When booking the package we assumed we would be in the same room together for the experience and we were not. We were a little bummed about that, but did not let it ruin the experience. My masseuse, Val, did an amazing job. I had a very relaxing experience that left me feeling completely rejuvenated. My boyfriend enjoyed his massage as well but his masseuse talked the entire time which made it hard to completely relax. He thought the massage was still amazing though and said the lady was kind. Our facials felt great, but my boyfriend mentioned how the facialist seemed a little stand offish and did not tell him next steps for the rest of the night (like if he should do his skin care routine or not). He just felt like he needed more guidance, but again this was our first professional experience so we do not know really want to expect or how these things should usually go. Overall it was a good experience. We ended up paying $339 (not including tip) when online it was listed at $295. Not a huge difference, but something to note. Im not sure if the price was worth it, but we had an overall good experience.

My wife book me my first male facial at this location & it was so relaxing. The SPA is so clean and the staff very friendly. Specially the owner Anthony, he’s very funny and will make you feel welcome. They offer you champagne when you come in & they make sure you’re comfortable and satisfied. My esthetician was Chris shes great and very knowledgeable, after my facial she got me in a skincare routine to take home and follow. The prices are not bad at all, I took a brochure home to compare the prices to other locations. Very affordable

I came across this place and was nervous my first time but really had a great experience with the Brazilian wax! The location is easy to get to and the ambiance is very relaxing. Tori is great and the products they use did not irritate my skin at all. This is my go to spot and I would highly recommend anyone who is interested or is looking for a place with great service!

I received a deep tissue massage from Benjamin and it was the best I have had. Not only did he address all the trouble spots, but he also made me feel comfortable and relaxed. This place is amazing! While traveling with my mom, we just wanted a relaxing afternoon of massages and facials. We were able to call day of for an appointment and even give appointments at the same time.Everyone was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was the perfectly relaxing experience wed hoped for. From booking, to the services, to the waiting time in a calming room with champagne, it was just perfect.Val was the massage guy and he was absolutely incredible! When I told him what I needed, he listened and tailored the massage to my needs for the day.

An old friend I havent seen in a while had came to visit and we decided spontaneously to book an appointment for a facial. After reading reviews online we decided to book our appointment at this spa. I had chris and she was absolutely amazing. She is very skilled and talented at what she does and she will recommend the best products of her knowledge for you. The facial was absolutely amazing and I couldnt be more pleased with the results and knowledge I received.

Received a gift card here so I decided to book the Rejuvenate Spa Package. First I had a 60 min Swedish Massage with Val which was incredibly relaxing and therapeutic. I mentioned that I had some neck and shoulder stiffness, so he gave that area some extra attention and worked through a tough knot. Following the massage, I felt noticeably better mobility and posture. Hes really thorough and great at what he does. Next I had a 30 min facial with Lauren N, which was also amazing. She left my face feeling so hydrated and refreshed. She also massaged my neck and scalp. I would definitely go back for both services. To top things off, I was handed a glass of champagne at the end :)

I ONLY come here for Linh! She’s truly transformed my skin from damaged, red, and full of blocked pores to evenly toned, less hyperpigmentation, 0 block pores, even texture - the list goes on! I swear by her and if you plan to stop by, PLEASE request her. You won’t regret it!

First time here. Booked an appointment for my daughter and I. We were greated quickly by the staff and taken right back after completing paperwork. Val performed my red-light facial. He was friendly and did a great job. Pauline performed my daughters facial and my daughter was at immediate ease with her and very satisfied with her facial as well. The whole staff were very down to earth and professional. We will definitely be back again soon!

Overall experience was ok, me and my husband both enjoyed our massages before we went on our vacation this past June & I enjoyed my facial & Brazilian wax. My only issue is that when you book online & receive confirmation email with total amount due and price for each service but then after you get the services done they charge you a completely different price, so the first time the owner said it was a booking fee😏which there is nothing on the site stating anything about a booking fee & my sister goes there which is the reason I went there and she has NEVER paid a booking fee! (They pick and choose who they want to overcharge/charge a booking fee) I was charge an additional 70$ that’s a pretty high “Booking fee” I’ve been here twice and both times I was over charged an extra 55-70$ after the second time I never went back. Very good massages but I refuse to get overcharged every time I get a service here, first time I chalked it up but second time nope you won’t get a third.. Giving 3 stars only because the massages were very good!

I’ve been coming to the spa and seeing Linh for my wax services for several years now and highly recommend her. She works quickly, she’s thorough, and she’s a complete sweetheart. The space itself is also clean and well kept, and the staff is always friendly.

This place deserves 10 stars! Waxing, facials, and massages are all top notch in my opinion. They’ve done an excellent job recruiting technicians in each field. Val in particular has to be one of Philly’s best kept secrets. His knowledge and expertise of muscles and connective tissues is second to none. I first saw Val for a massage in 2020, he clearly continues to master his craft as my take on his massages has as only gotten better. My only regret writing this is that it will be harder to get an appointment with him! but hey, we all need healing from time to time.

Update: this spa responded to my review saying they are sure the issue was resolved. It was resolved by me removing myself from the spa. That’s it.DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, FILTER REVIEWS FOR THE LOWEST STARS. THEY ARE PREDOMINANTLY WOMEN OF COLOR...ESPECIALLY BLACK WOMEN. NOT A SAFE SPACE FOR US AT ALL. I WILL BE REPORTING THIS SPA TO THE BBB.Tori is wonderful, the owner is not. I’ve had multiple issues with him including him double charging me and making it a huge issue when I asked for a refund. Today, was the worst as he continuously provided smart remarks after I inquired about my bill and a booking fee that I’ve never been previously charged for. “Did you come in here and expect to not pay anything?, “ Did you think you were getting free services?”, and so on. I simply asked a question but once he got smart, I disengaged, paid, and left. He offered to refund the fee after being extremely rude. I will not be returning. I expect to feel fully relaxed after a spa treatment. Again, Tori is wonderful, Anthony is disgustingly unpleasant.

Victoria is awesome for waxing hands down! She has you in then out and hairless. The spa is super cleanly, modern, and chic. Conveniently in center city so I hope on the train anytime I have an appointment

Based on all the great reviews, my husband and I booked a massage at this place. We both did a 60 min Swedish massage. Upon leaving and comparing experiences, we both agreed our massages were well below average. My therapist never asked me anything about what I wanted (or didnt want). There was almost no pressure whatsoever (for both me and my husband). And Im pretty sure the people who worked on us are not licensed massage therapists. Seems like they just dont know what theyre doing. My massage was very erratic and fast and weird and the guy just aggressively rubbed oil on my skin without pressure. Absolutely bizarre experience. Upon reading some other reviews here, I can see the guy who gave me a massage also does facials. That is weird. Those are two different jobs.

I had the worst facial here. I showed up 10min early. The receptionist at the front desk (which I now think was the spa owner) did not care to greet me for a few minutes. Instead, he was staring at his computer while speaking loudly with other customers sitting across the room. I walked up closer to the desk, initiated the conversation and finally got checked in. I sat awkwardly as the receptionist was being friendly with other customers (offering champagne) while ignoring me.My esthetician was 5min late. She was not the same esthetician I initially selected at booking (who had more years of experience and more reviews). I went with it anyway... The steam was way too hot, the towels were also insanely hot! My skin got so red after a while, so my esthetician turned into panic mode and started slapping oatmeal mask and ice cold things on my face to calm it down. She also decided to use LED lights (for only about 2min) to calm my skin, and later told me that LED would cost more $$ but shes giving it to me for free...so generous! Her massage consisted of pressing on my chest a few times, and pulling on my neck twice, not relaxing! I left with oatmeal crumbs on my hair and neck. The used towels were left on the sink, dripping water onto the floor, gross! The entire process was so messy and unprofessional.They charged me $10 extra on top of the promotional price for some undisclosed taxes and booking fees (?). I will never come back here again, or recommend to anyone. Ive had better facials with proper massage even at Hand & Stone.

I received a gift certificate for Christmas a went for a massage & facial. Very friendly staff. Great service Lauren did an excellent facial. After my services were complete Anthony greeted me with champagne, chocolates & fresh fruit! Wonderful experience.

My best friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our time spent here for her birthday! The staff made it personally special for her. Always ask about their packages! Tony left our bodies feeling more relaxed and refreshed after our wonderful massages. Shoutout to Chrissmarie who did an amazing job on our microdermabrasion facials leaving our skin feeling beautiful again! She is very knowledgeable in recommending products and treatments. I wish I could give this place 10 stars!! I bought my mom and I Queen for a day Packages last year that we never used until this past weekend. Although the package was no longer a promotion Anthony went above and beyond to accommodate us and to make sure we had nothing short of the most luxurious experience. We truly felt like queens for a day!! Everything from the warm welcome we received upon arriving to the spa, to the blissful ambience and everything in between. I had an amazing full body massage starting with Lisa who was extremely professional and thorough followed by a pampering body scrub and facial done by Aubrey. She left my skin glowing from head to toe and made me extremely comfortable throughout the process. I cannot wait to go back and see her and the rest of the staff again. Not to mention my picky mother could not be more pleased with her experience as well. By the time we left I felt like I knew the staff my entire life. I had some great conversations with both Anthony and Hadi who I absolutely adore and cannot wait until next pamper day. I will 💯 be purchasing another package for the two of us and would not think twice of going anywhere else!!!

I called last minute for massages and they were so accommodating!! The massage therapist I had “Tony” he was INCREDIBLE! hands down best massage I’ve ever had and I’ve been to a lot. Tony unlike a lot of massage therapists was consistent with his pressure from the beginning of the massage to the end. I have chronic back and shoulder pain to where I get headaches. He used amazing techniques no ones used before to get all my specific knots out. I got a deep tissue and I for the first time felt looser vs just relaxed. Tony was amazing and really listened to what I wanted. Highly recommend and will be coming back!!!

So I’ve been coming here for quite some time now, and must I say… THE BEST IN THE CITY!Anthony is a skilled esthetician! He has helped people with really bad skin problems! I wasn’t one of his extreme cases but I walked in with a problem. I never had a skin problem until I had a hormone imbalance, when I tell you a few visits with Anthony, he fixed me right up! I’m skin is clear and flowing again!He’s super awesome! He explains what he’s doing while he’s doing it! He explains the whole purpose behind it and ensures you that with time, it’ll get better! I just had my 2nd deep tissue massage with Tony and he just does such a good job. My back has so many knots and he’s able to really go after them without actually causing any pain, he just uses the perfect amount of pressure. It’s amazing. My partner and I had great massages here on Sunday. Initially I had concerns in regards to booking and communication that happened but the overall experience with the massage and when we were in the spa was flawless. They ran behind but they upgraded us with back scrub which was an amazing addition. I had Val and he was great, sometimes deep tissue massage can be a little overwhelming but he made it seamless and fixed the issue with pain in my shoulder that I had for months now. My partner had Lynn and he was so impressed she was so thorough and even spent extra time to work on the issues with his back. We will definitely be back when in town!

Today was my first experience at this spa. I had a 90 minute, deep tissue massage with Val and it was incredible. I’ve had countless deep tissues in my lifetime, but I’ve never experienced one from a massage therapist as thorough as Val. He was careful, calculated and incredibly comprehensive. It was unmatched. Once over, he provided an incredibly detailed explanation of the work he did, what he uncovered and some suggestions based on his findings to help to continue to improve how my body feels. He was patient, detailed and had the utmost intent to do good by me as a client of his. He is extremely credible. I would highly recommend. I will undoubtedly be a loyal client of his moving forward.

It was my first time getting microdermabrasion and Lauren P did amazing job! She explained me the procedure, what to expect, how it is going to feel during and right after and what improvements Id see right away. She was really gentle during the procedure, guiding me through the steps. I felt very comfortable and relax, almost fell asleep. :) My skin feels amazing, I am booking another appointment with her as soon as I am done writing this. Highly recommend.

My husband and I were here for a short stay and I called last min to book a facial with Lauren for myself and massages for my husband and I. Anthony was so kind and was able to fit us in for a 60 min deep tissue with CBD with Val and Avvonlea. Best massages we have had in a while. We felt so relaxed when we left. Next time we are in Philly we will be back.

I got a massage and a facial today. I loved my experience here. I loved Avvonlea even more. She was so nice and friendly, made me feel extremely comfortable, and talked to me about skin care for home. My face feels so clean and I am glowing! My body feels refreshed and relaxed. Booked a 90 minute Deep Tissue Massage with Val. Val is very knowledgeable when it comes to the body and its functions. Val is insightful and is trained in many different modalities which really helped out certain issues I was having. I came in feeling very tight and achy and left feeling amazing. Definitely a therapist who knows his craft.

The best facial I’ve ever had. I can’t say enough. I’ve been here multiple times and continue to go back. Lauren has given me good advice on skincare products that have worked on my skin and I still use. These are products that I don’t buy here so they are not benefiting. It’s just a great salon/spa w the best people. This past facial was better than any other I’ve had. Tori examined my skin, asked why I was getting a specific facial and offered recommendations that worked and were also incredibly enjoyable. I’ll always go here.

This place was peaceful and very calming . It was my first time ever getting waxed ! I was super nervous ; My wonderful technician Chrismarie was patient and definitely took very good care of me . She also gave me plenty of tips to take care of my skin after being waxed . Overall a Five Star Experience

Had a wax today by Lauren Phillips, she is an outstanding Esthetician. She has a great personality and provided excellent skin care tips while waxing. Gotta say this was by far my most pain free wax yet. Salon is immaculate and Anthony is very welcoming! Highly highly recommended.

I had a lot of tension in my shoulders and quads. I called Skincare Lounge and they were able to fit me in on the same day for a deep tissue massage. Val was my masseuse and he was a literal lifesaver! The heated towel was *chefs kiss* to my tired muscles. The spa was very clean and serene. Only issue was the elevator is under maintenance and had to walk stairs to get to the third floor. Will be back 5/5!

I went to Skincare Lounge Spa today for my first facial - I am now sold! I got the Charcoal Detox Facial with Age Eye Reversal and Led add-on with Lauren Phillips. I have never had a bad experience at this place. The moment you walk in you can feel a weight drop off you, one you may not have known you were carrying. The decor is relaxing. The fragrances are soothing. The staff is pleasant (I especially loved Linh and Anthony) and welcoming. The owners are dope as hell and have put soul and light in this space. I started going to skin care lounge when I had neck and shoulder pain and needed a last minute massage, they had an opening. My pain has definitely been reduced since then.They have some great experienced staff who specialize in different treatments like massage or skin.The facial and skin treatments are awesome! I recommend the body scrub/wrap, Have been my favorite. and detox massage for a great cleansing experience.I treat myself to a visit here about twice a month 😊 and I’m always tempted to try more

Linh is a miracle worker. Everyone here is super nice. It was a very good experience. It’s easy to miss so keep your eye out for this spa on Samson street. Can’t wait to go again. I started coming here leading up to a wedding of which I was in the party, and was taken care of by Lauren Phillips. I was so pleased with the improvements to my skin, I’ve been returning since. Lauren is always attentive to my main concerns, while also noticing things I might not. She’s given me great advice on my home care routine and I keep seeing improvements. I plan on continuing to come every so often for maintenance and scheduling with them is always a breeze, even if you’re not exactly sure what you want to have done. I highly recommend Skincare Lounge!!!

Lisa was so amazing! She was really great about what areas I wanted to focus on and how much pressure I was good with. I was having shoulder pain and the next day later I felt soooooo much better. Definitely will be going back. The facility has a nice atmosphere and I like how the rooms are private! The facials by Pauline are also amazing. Will definitely be going back!

I’ve got a few treatments here and while they were good, I would agree with other people on other reviews; they don’t have the correct listed prices on the website. You go for a treatment that has a certain cost and end up paying 20 or 30$ more on “fees” that I am not sure what they are (tax is not usually that high). I would say to just update the prices on the website with what they are actually going to charge so people don’t end up with surprises.Other than that, I have had good experiences with all the technicians that have worked on my skin.

Linh was amazing! She was caring and gentle and took care of my needs. My body was in some pain and she helped relieve that with gentle pressure. She listened to what felt good and what didnt and catered to my bodys needs! She also adjusted the scent of the essential oils to one that i really liked! She was amazing!!!! I rescheduled an appointment in a month... it was worth every penny!

Wow!!!! I was like beauty drunk after my facial. The beds they use are memory foam and the amount of massage I received for just a facial from Chris/Kris(?) was absolutely amazing. Love this place—tried and true. I’ve been getting Brazilian waxes as well as other services here for the last 3 yrs or so. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The space is always clean and calm. I’ve had the pleasure of being serviced by Jamie, Tori, Anthony as well as a few others who have all been professional and kind. Brazilian wax here is always thorough. Facials and vajacials have also been nice and I would recommend them here.

Val was amazing, as were the front desk staff. I was lucky enough to land a same-day appointment! When I called they talked with me about the benefits of different service types which was helpful in deciding what was best for me. As a woman, I had never had a massage from a male therapist and it was a concern, but Val was very informative, very professional and I actually prefer it because the pressure of the massage was perfect. I wish I lived in the area to visit regularly but if youre ever in Philly looking to relax and recharge, Skincare Lounge is a must!

It was my first time coming here for a massage—actually my first massage in Philly all together—and it was hands down the best massage I’ve ever gotten. My boyfriend said the same thing. He got the expert custom massage and I did Swedish and we both added a foot massage onto each of ours. I kid you not, I walked out of there feeling like I was walking on a cloud. Linh was incredible and worked her magic, highly recommend! This spa is in heart of center city so it’s super easy to get to, and it’s also incredibly clean and tranquil upon entering. I am a long time customer. I tend to get my Brazilian wax done here with Tori or Laura. I am thoroughly satisfied as they are very thorough and friendly. If you are a first time waxer or generally uncomfortable with the process then they will do their best to put you at ease, walk you through the process, and make sure you are aware of everything before they do it. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend.

Skincare Lounge is an amazing and beautiful spa. I started going there about a year ago and will keeping going back. Tori is by far the best esthetician and waxer Ive ever had! She cares about doing a good job and it shows in the final results. I truly appreciate her hard work. Val gives wonderful massages. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to muscles and joints. Initially, I went with my sisters for a facial a while back and received the greatest facial from Anthony whom was also super informative and helpful with suggesting products to incorporate into my skincare regimen. I visited twice for a massage with Val & I am honestly blown away by how I’ve never received such impeccable, quality service elsewhere. I explained my problematic area that I have yet to get relief from for about a year & a few days later I felt 100% less strained. Ive been going to Anthony for quite a while now... He was recommended to me by a co-worker about 1-2 years ago. Ive never gotten a Brazilian wax or underarms wax at all prior to him. When I made my first appointment with Anthony, I was very nervous and uncomfortable. Once I got there, he made both feelings disappear. He was very friendly, professional and quick. Hes such a sweet person! I dont live in Philly but I sure as hell take a 30 minutes commute just to go to him for my waxing needs. Cannot beat the price, atmosphere and professionalism.

I have spent so much time trying to find a perfect esthetician and the search is over!Tori knows what she’s doing! She has a unique technique that never gives me ingrown hairs (every other wax I get ingrown but not with Tori!) and makes my wax fast & painless. She is also flexible and will squeeze you in Mon-fri! Not to mention she is doll, always friendly and professional. Lastly, skincare lounge is affordable! Buy the wax package of 5 and it’s super cost effective! One day I randomly searched online for a masseur with immediate availability and luck had it that it happened to be here, and ended up with Val. Val is - hands down - the best masseur I have ever had the pleasure to have sessions with in Philly. He’s my go-to guy now. His massage skills are unparalleled (he like somehow can read your body like a book), and he introduced me to cupping, which has opened up a whole new world of therapy I didn’t know existed. He’s professional, extremely polite, and very knowledgeable and interesting to talk with if you like chatting during your sessions. I hesitated to write this because I selfishly don’t want to share him - Enjoy :)Additionally I love the overall space at the spa (very clean), and really enjoy interacting with Anthony the owner there too. He runs a good friendly place and is clearly invested in making sure the clients/customers are happy.

The man who I assume is in charge and was working the front desk when we were there was rude. My partner and I each got massages and facials. The massages were okay and the facials were truly not worth it. Basically just a bit of steam and then some moisturizer. Unwelcoming and below par.

I have never received such relief from massage. I have multiple herniated discs and compensatory adhesions in my lower hip region, which cause me discomfort and pain. Val worked on me so effectively that when I left I was drastically improved. I have committed to working with Val at least twice a month. He is incredibly knowledgeable and very good at what he does.

Skincare Lounge SPA was fantastic! I received a 75 minute massage with Val P, who gave the best massage Ive ever had. Not only did he listen to the problem areas I wanted him to address, he also spent extra time as he found additional knots/pressure points that needed attention. I feel like this review doesnt even begin to do Val justice. Ultimately, he had such a great sense of what my body needed and I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I couldnt recommend him and Skincare Lounge more.

Ive been getting massages from Val P for a year. Suffering from 20 years of almost constant really gnarly, crunchy, muscle knots and neck/shoulder pain, I have never had a massage therapist actually be able to truly make me feel better... until going to him. After a massage, Ill leave feeling human, comfortable and mobile again instead of being in chronic pain. His massages are not formulaic; he really listens and works on the areas needed the most. I swear, Val is some kind of muscle knot and tension slaying wizard. Hands down he is the best massage therapist I have ever been to. The highest recommendation.

My boyfriend got me a gift card to this spa for a deep tissue massage. The first time I went, I had Justin who was great with what he did, however he missed some crucial parts of my body with the massage. I wasnt going to complain, but when the director asked how my massage was afterwards, I expressed my disappointment and told him that Justin completely missed my legs. The director was so accommodating and offered a complimentary massage to make up for it. I then had Val who was AMAZING. I get massages once a month and he was easily one of the best. 10/10 would recommend Val and this spa in general. They are the best.

The first time I went, I had an issue with my treatment but they were extremely apologetic and offered me a complimentary second service. I had Pauline the second time, and she was really great. Not only is she very friendly, she is also knowledgeable and very skilled with hot stones, aromatherapy, and facials. Would definitely recommend her!

This past weekend I had the Escape package which consisted of a facial and a massage, each 1 hour. It was my first time getting a facial and I loved it. My esthetician was Anika (I hope I spelled that right). Once I told her it was my first time, she was excellent at letting me know what products she was using and its benefits. She did an excellent job and my skin looks fantastic! I had Val for my massage and he was just as excellent. Took his time, was very relaxing. My only problem with my afternoon there was the robes were just a little small. I dont know if they had a one size fits all situation, or I should have just asked for a larger one. But walking through the halls from facial to massage and then to the locker room felt a little exposing due to the tiny robe. Robe issue aside, it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend.

I have been seeing Anthony at Skincare Lounge for over 10 years now! Simply put he’s the best! Always very professional and courteous. I often go on my lunch break so I’m tight for time but never feel rushed and am always fully satisfied with my service! I would recommend Skincare Lounge to anyone for a professional service/staff done in a clean environment with a relaxing atmosphere!! The cherry on top is the cost is VERY reasonable!!

I received my first facial at Skincare Lounge Spa done by Clover. The spa itself is beautiful, complete with mood lighting, beautiful decor, and has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Clover made sure to listen to my skin concerns, and addressed each one. He went out of his way to explain each product he was using, and how each product would target my specific skin concerns. He was extremely pleasant during the entire facial. The music he was playing was beautiful. The facial massage almost put me to sleep, in a good way. When he got to the extractions he was very gentle but efficient. I took before and after pictures and the difference in the size of my pores before and after the facial/extractions was astronomical. I said to myself afterwards, pores? Where? I came out with a brilliant glow and feeling on top of the world. Thank you for the amazing service, Clover.

I’m so happy Anthony has his own place! I’ve been a customer of Anthony’s since he was located in Jason Matthews Salon. I’ve seen him very regularly for all waxing and would trust no one else in the city. He’s very calming, professional, and not once have I ever had an ingrown hair from any waxing service. Best wax in the city for the price! Anthony has two elegant little back rooms within a hair salon, him and the rest of the staff are always friendly. He achieves that nice mix of professional and casual that put me at ease for my Brazilian. Ive been back several times. Its soft wax which everyone says is not the best but Ive never had any major issues with it (nothing a good exfoliation cant remedy, even with my dark thick hair) Hes also always included my belly happy trail which other places charge extra for. That and little perks like a pillow to squeeze and scheduling over text really sold me. Would and have recommended to friends.

Popped in before the 2022 Philly marathon to get a pre-race massage. Massage therapist was amazing — she targeted the right areas with the right pressure. The disappointing aspect of my visit happened at checkout when I was charged almost an additional $20 in taxes and fees. I asked the therapist what was included in the “fees” charge, she was unsure, but I believe the owner or the manager was sitting nearby and stated that the $12 in fees were due to the price of things being high/expensive right now. I was shocked to hear that this additional amount was not just simply added to the actual, posted website amount of $105 for a one hour massage, instead this spa is seemingly misleading folks of the real price of the massage - $115-$118. As a consumer, I would rather know the actual cost and not be hit with a oh its because of COVID or inflation “fee” after I receive my service. Hopefully, the website prices will be accurately changed.

First time going and I had a fantastic experience! They set a relaxing ambience as soon as you walk through the door. Val gave an amazing massage, definitely recommend him. I had an amazing facial experience with Lauren Phillips!! She was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable when it came to issues with my skin, the best facial for my skin type as well as recommending products. The whole spot has a very calming energy. Highly recommend!!!

Overall the spa/massage experience was a 10. We booked a couples massages which I thought we’d be together. I was wrong the facility doesn’t have the space to accommodate couples massages together. We had to have separate massage rooms. After I was done was got dressed in the massage room then taken to a locker room to meet my partner. She was escorted with her clothes basket to get dressed and relax after her massage to the same locker as me.

Ive been going to Anthony for about 18 months. He is super friendly, quick, and a true professional at his job. I love the convenience of texting him for an appointment. The salon is clean and everyone is really friendly. Ive been to a lot of salons in Philly and Anthony is by far my favorite. On Wednesdays and Thursdays a Brazilian wax is only $30! You cant beat the price or the speed of the service. You are literally in and out in less than 15 minutes! I highly recommend Anthony for any of your waxing or skin care needs.

This was my first facial in over 10 years and it did not disappoint! Everyone was so welcoming and the environment was extremely relaxing. Not only did I leave feeling the best I have in awhile about my skin, but I already can’t wait to go back :)

I got the hydrating facial yesterday. I have had facials at many different places in different cities and countries. My impression was that prices overall are good, but the facial I got was okay. I kept emphasizing to the aesthethician that my skin is sensitive because I just got off Accutane (also wrote this in the customer fill out form), but she was exfoliating and scrubbing my face SO HARD.. Also she put such a small amount of moisturizer at the end (which is bad especially after exfoliating) that my face felt so bad afterwards. My face is still red and irritated from the facial right now :( Her massage was great and relaxing, however. And again, good prices, so if your skin is low maintanence and you are on a budget, I would recommend it. But I would rather pay more to get a better care myself.

I had a wonderful facial done by Lauren N. this afternoon; she is extremely knowledgeable and genuine with her clients. I left with glowy and refreshed skin and cannot wait to go back next month for another one. Book with Lauren N!!!

About ten years ago, I had an absolutely awful experience at a spa (not this one!!!!) in which I was fat-shamed and mocked until I fled in tears. Ever since then, I am extremely anxious when going to a new location for any type of personal care service because I never want to be put in that situation again. Though anxious, I have wanted microdermabrasion for awhile now, and have read a lot of great reviews about this particular place. So I booked.Can I just say, it was incredible. The Skincare Lounge is the most beautiful, serene, clean, fragrant place I have ever been, and everyone was so nice and professional. I didnt once feel uncomfortable. In fact, there were times where I was so blissfully comfortable that I am pretty sure I dozed off on the table. Anika was amazing, she talked me through the whole process and worked literal magic on my 40-year-old, sun-damaged face. For an hour-plus, no stress existed, it was just spa music and the scent of eucalyptus and marinating in skincare. I know its too soon to see effects, as it was only yesterday, but I feel positively glowing already. Thank you all so much for your delightful service!

Incredible facial by Linh! I was visiting Philly and my hotel, although posh, was charging a heck of a lot for a facial and the reviews weren’t even that reassuring. Thanks to Google 😉 I found this gem. They are fixing the elevator so the getting there experience was sketchy, but I kept thinking of the reviews. How could they be wrong? They weren’t. I’m here to share - go up the shady stairs. It’s worth it.I opted for a cleansing facial plus microdermabrasion. Linh did such a great job!! I’m seriously considering going back to Philly just for another facial but that’s not feasible, but the thought still passes my mind. I also got my brows done/fixed. I’m very happy with my skin and even brows. This place is such a find. Plus at the end of my appointment, I wasn’t sold any expensive creams, etc. Instead Linh wrote out a list of products in all price points that I can buy on my own. I purchased a few already and my skin has not looked this great in a while!

Sothia and Lynh gave us amazing deep tissue and hot stone massages, respectively. Hot stone is new to me and they did a great job making my neck and shoulders feel very relaxed. Highly recommend!

Get in the elevator and go straight to the third floor. I booked an appointment for a back and shoulder wax over the phone and they were able to fit me in at very short notice. Walking in, I felt instant relaxed and at ease. Kayleigh checked me in at reception and was super helpful, professional and chatty. My technician was Anika and I found her also to be very professional and efficient. I will definitely come back to this place whenever I’m in Philly!

My husband gifted me one of their pamper packages for birthday. I was looked after by Aubrey for ful body scrub, body cocoon(1h) and facial (45 minutes). Aubrey is a gem. My skin felt rejuvenated. Then I was offered a glass of champagne and chocolates. Later Sothia gave me massage. Her hands worked wonder on the palm of my hands and feet. I also got sinus relief head massage(1h). My husband told me that he added the sinus relief for 15 minutes and foot massage 15 minutes to the main package. Total time for massage was supposed to be 1-1/2 h but was done in an hour. So I think you dont have to add on those extra packages because theyll be combined with the main package.

The BEST Brazilian I’ve ever gotten in my life. Anthony did a great job. Super fast and overall, pretty painless. He was friendly, made me feel comfortable, and made me laugh during what is usually an awkward experience. It was also extremely affordable, compared to a lot of other places. This is the only place I’ll be going for a wax from now on.

Updating this review after the owner had reached out to me with a solution to my issue and had great customer follow-up.This place is great and the owner/customer service are awesome. I came in for the men’s back and shoulder wax. Place was well kept, people were nice and prices more than fair. The wax was quick and virtually painless. I was very pleased with the initial results of the wax all the hairs were pulled well.I had an unfortunate bad reaction to the treatment that left me covered in in-grown hairs. The reason for this is unsure as this only the 2nd wax ever. I had originally filed a complaint about this, I was very unpleased with the look.The owner called me personally and explained all the reasons this may have happened and why a wax might not fit my body type. Could have been from the excessive heat/sweating that day or improper prep/maintenance on my part. Anyway, he met with me personally, gave me a complimentary product to help solve my issue and went over options/directions for the future to improve results.Very impressed with how the experience was in general and the follow-up by the owner. Just unfortunate about the bad reaction. Would return and recommend.

I regularly get massages (monthly) and I have to say, my massage with Val was the best I’ve ever had! The whole staff was accommodating even though I was running late due to traffic. I rushed filling in my paperwork to be respectful of everyone’s time but somehow Val knew exactly where my problem areas were (neck and upper back where I hold my tension) without telling him, and worked it all out. The location is super convenient with a paid parking lot across the street on the corner, just a few doors up from their location. From walking in the building, to entering the spa on the 3rd floor everything was aesthetically pleasing. The rooms are private, accommodating (hooks, cubbies, and a mirror which I loved), updated, tranquil, and the lighting is the most soothing I’ve experienced. The best part is that the menu is diverse and extremely affordable. I will definitely be returning and am looking forward to exploring their menu!

What can I say about SkinCare Lounge and Spa…?🤔 I’ve been coming to get serviced since Anthony was located on 16th and Chestnut since 2016. After that I followed suit when he moved to Sansom Street. I’ve always received top of the line care. I refuse to go anywhere else. The entire staff is amazing.Happy Holidays guys!
