Typically, the place is crowded on Sunday nights after 9:00 p.m. for the amazing band, Reminisce. Luckily, I found a table on the second level towards the back. The wait staff located me right away, taking my order. The food and wine were on point, as was the music and overall vibe. Overall, it was a great way to end my birthday week.
My wife and I visited Blue Martini on a Friday evening in August for happy hour and we had a great experience. The happy hour specials were better than most in the Scottsdale area and the atmosphere was high energy and very fun. What really made our experience exceptional was the wonderful service provided by Natalie. She was a superb server, with high energy, a very positive and fun personality, and she was extremely attentive to all her customers. She made the visit so enjoyable that we returned the following Friday evening. And when were back in Scottsdale well definitely continue to frequent the Blue Martini. B and L.
Wed been to Blue Martini before, about 7 years ago, pretty late at night, so this review doesnt cover that but the most recent experience when we visited for a Saturday happy hour. Although it was pretty fun the last time, from what we remember...? This time, for a more sedate experience, we ordered a discounted app for happy hour, as well as a couple of the signature blue martinis. The food was good, but the martinis were sublime. And fun to look at as well! Needless to say we exceeded the preset limit of one each. Not to mention our bartender was terrific- friendly, not pushy, and perfectly attentive. It wasnt super busy, but in our experience this doesnt necessarily affect the level of service, so we appreciated how awesome she was. All around amazing experience! We will be back, for happy hour, and who knows what else after a few of those blue martinis!
Colleagues and I commemorated my 40th birthday and engagement celebration. I thoroughly enjoyed dancing and partaking in beverages. While the drinks were of high quality, they were somewhat costly. The server demonstrated exceptional attentiveness. It proved to be an ideal venue for group gatherings, although regrettably, a few of my colleagues were unable to attend. Nevertheless, the event was a resounding success.
A beautiful expression of nightlife and Latin music with a skirt of hip hop/rap. The drinks were sweet and strong-as they should be. The lights were captivating without being distracting. The music seemed to live at the perfect decibel level and seemed to seamlessly flow from song to song, as if it were one long overture.
Small plates were so good and great to share. Drinks are great! However… super strange but the signature drink (Blue Martini) was really awful. It tasted terrible to everyone at our table… maybe just a bad one? But we love coming for the live music, the patio seating, and the energy. Haven’t been here at night yet, but I’m sure it’s great for a younger crowd!
Got four cocktails, ended up being with Tip- $90 and for $90 drinks and the atmosphere they have here- the band was not AT ALL good. Wanted to leave because of their horrible screeching- Do better. It wasn’t worth the money spent.
Oh my goodness!Celebrating a close friends 50th birthday party here was incredible. The staff was superb and top notch. The drinks are perfectly mixed and more consistent than any other fine establishment Ive been to in a while. The live DJ music was loud and awesome, creating an almost club-like atmosphere on a Saturday night. The food was extremely flavorful and taste bud shattering! Its definitely hard to choose from all of the amazing menu options. You cant go wrong with this establishment.
The location and atmosphere is why we came back. But the food and drinks will make it the last visit! The chicken wings were as tough as an old boiled owl and the accompanying veg was so old it had brown edges. And the margherita pizza was fresh from Frys out of the freezer. Nothing like advertised. How do you screw up a pizza? The mojito drink was so sweet I sent it back. The martini was not chilled and lacked the normal taste we are used to. Even the Keg does an incredible martini in comparison. And the margarita drink was not chilled and tasted of mix. Overall so disappointing and a lousy experience!
We love the live music, I think the menu could expand, not a lot of choices, what we did have, it was pretty bland and the wings were definitely over cooked, dried out. I would go back to hear the music. I do need to let you know that their beer and their cocktail pricing is a bit stout they charge me 650 for a bottle of Bud light.I would recommend
I’ve been coming here for many years mostly late evening so I can’t say too much on the food. Service is good and friendly. Seems like the cocktails have changed in flavor. Before they had so much flavor with a balance of liquor..now just seems like I’m drinking syrup. Needless to say it’s still a great place.
Music was great. Friday night regular musical artist and we enjoyed listening, he took requests.Service was attentive without being overbearing and the server made a point to get to everyone ahead of the end of happy hour to take final orders.Nice pricing on food for happy hour...plenty of choices.
I had the pleasure of being served by Ricki and I must say without a doubt she is one of the best bartenders. Ricki greeted me with a warm smile that immediately made me feel welcomed. Throughout my visit, Ricki provided excellent service, always attentive to my needs and ensuring I had everything I needed. I highly recommend visiting the Blue Martini and experience Rickis outstanding service at the bar.
It’s a nice lounge. Great vibes. Our lamb chops were too salty … the server was flighty (snarly) but the lounge it self with the DJ was very nice
Blue Martini is a constipated night spot. Because its Sunday Fathers day weekend and Juneteenth on Monday, this constipated night spot had ribbon around all the chairs at the tables throughout the club. My wife took me there after dinner to listen to live music. Blue Martini (BM) wanted $200 for us to sit at a table inside. The band starts at 9pm why would BM try to charge us $200 at 6:30pm. If you want to spend unnecessary money go to BM. BUT I CAN SHOW YOU 200 WAYS HOW TO SPEND $200 WISELY.. 🤑
Had an absolute blast here on a Saturday night. The live band was on point and the playlist after their set was good too. The crowd was fun and in various age ranges. We got a table, which for two meant a $100 drink minimum. We blew past that so it was a non-issue lolAwesome place that I will visit again if I find my self in the area in the future.
Woo hoo cougar central!! First time visit and had a blast. Food was amazing and atmosphere was amazing, now this was live band night and they where ok, they kept the place moving but I believe the party was hopping more when the DJ was playing between the bands breaks or could have been the house music. However my opening statement stands true this had a 45 and higher vibe, the majority that being the amazing ladies on the prowl.Ok ok the foodHad the chicken and tuna appetizers to kick it off and was sad we had only one of each after finishing them off, not to be to much of a pig we finished with the baked Brie and again another great dish be sure for openers to grab these three dishes you will not be upset.Only bad part of the night was how the outer bar area which is inside and then there is outside seating area became over ran with smokers. So when you thought you where good the constant side smoke killed the overall mood. The drink options as you can see in one of the photos so hard to choose you may just have to blend two!!We will be back
Great atmosphere. DONT ORDER the LEMON DROP MARTINI...worst in town. Tried again after my first bad experience, it was bad again. They need to learn from Mastros how to make them right.
Apparently this is a place where you must be straight, ill dressed and forget to shower to get in. My friends and I heard good things and went to check it out. They said we arent allow to go in because our shirts didnt have sleeves....... its velvet couture but okay fine. Why were there so many women in stained, discolored tanks and spaghetti straps? DISCRIMINATION/ HOMOPHOBIA is so dated in 2024 yall. Do better cause really its embarrassing for you.
Food poisoning especially the Thai chicken. 🐓 please avoid, am having diarrhoea right now 2 hours after eating there.
I was in town visiting friends. We met up at this place so they could get their party on. Not my scene but they had a good time. Service was good and friendly, food and drinks were pretty good. They had a live band that had solid energy. Sound system was good. Music mixes were a little over mixed, making it hard to follow the beat. For some reason ball caps arent allowed.
Under staffed, disinterested bartender, corked wine, airport level spirits and beer selection. No clue how it got the name. Martinis were terrible and made as if it were the first try by a former bus boy. Took 15 minutes to get the check and there were only 4 other people at the bar and nobody in the dining room at 7:30 on a Friday night. Hard pass....
I’ve been here many times. I had family visiting in town from Wisconsin for graduation. Since I really liked the place I thought I’d bring them here. When we got to the front they asked for our ID’s. Since all of ours were vertical she said they couldn’t let us in. My mom, brothers, sisters and cousins all have vertical ID’s. They are not expired. I work in Scottsdale, I know the law and it states that if it’s out of state and not expired it’s acceptable unless it’s an Arizona ID. I tried to explain this to her and she yelled at me saying “ I don’t care where you work we don’t do that here.” My mom is 55 and my siblings are 30. You would think that we’d have the correct ID’s. If the girl with black hair and bangs with glasses Is working she’s steering business away.
I the every 2 weeks... so in as is one of the best latino night club... but the problem is just Thursday night
I only go on Sunday nights to see Reminisce. DJ Mix Master G is 🔥. I usually get the veggie flatbread or the cauliflower salad. Theyre both delicious! This last time, I decided to try the fish tacos. After the first bite I realized I was given shrimp. It was no biggie for me because Im not allergic to shellfish (thank God!) and they were really good! The manager still sent over the fish tacos free of charge. Im glad I got to taste both. I prefer the shrimp. They were seasoned well but the fish lacked flavor. And the chipotle mayo has a nice little spicy kick to it. 👍🏾👍🏾
We always enjoy visiting Blue on Saturday nights. The appetizers are tasty, and the bands provide great dancing music.
We went with about 12 people. Birthday celebration. Started early around 5:30pm Ordered drinks, food etc. Seating is limited. When the music began a server (hostess) came and took two of our chairs and told us we had to stand! The chairs were reserved at another table!! I asked for my check and noticed that nobody ever came to the reserved table. There were a number of reserved for bottle service tables. We left. Ridiculous. We hadnt been for awhile and we wont be coming back any time soon. Bank was pretty good. We enjoyed dancing but the hostess telling us the chairs were stolen from another table was too much. We made up most of the dance floor and food and drink orders. Beleive me the exclusive atmosphere they think they have...they dont.
You think that on Memorial Day weekend that they would offer a “military discount” for active duty service members but no..That’s very unfortunate, enjoyed the music but not the over priced drinks…Come on people let’s make it more affordable $18 for one mixed drink, really..
Great vibe on Sundays. Drinks on the menu are not particularly well crafted or creative. Especially given the name... Blue Martini. But still had a good time.
Had a good time. Quite warm while you are dancing. Drinks were pricy but tasted good. Like the smoking patio.
Would recommend any place but this one. Especially if you are not from Arionza, do not visit this bar. The host with black bangs and glasses was unprofessional and rude. They don’t accept id’s from out of state?
Love this place plenty of everything very Classy place to have great fun and meet new people have been going there over a year now actually going this weekend again
Blue Martini is a nice little club in Scottsdale, AZ great vibe, food and drinks make it for a fun night.
Thursday night is good if you are looking for Latin music. I love the live music, especially when the Euphoria group it plays. Good place to meet new people, just be careful with who you talk. But if you are a good dancer, thats the place!Have fun!!
Really great hostess and bartender. Awesome drinks. Blue Martini never disappoints
We booked a last minute venue change due to a great response, and then only a handful actually came.I cannot thank Blue Martini enough for the wonderful service, excellent food, and fabulous atmosphere.I would highly recommend Blue Martini for a night out or for a group event. You cannot beat the service.
Entertainment great! Food was terrible… drinks disgusting! Won’t go back
Love coming to this place. Its nice to sit at the patio bar and have some drinks and appetizers. Never been there late enough to see any bands/DJs so I cant comment on that. They have plenty of seating at the patio, but if you want to sit at the bar, get there shortly after they open, they fill up quick!
I normally go there on Thursday Latin nights and it’s been fun and packed ! Drink are pricey per usual in that area. The cops they have there are super sexy ! 😜😝
It got super busy and so the service faded a little bit but it was fun. Way too many golf dudes hanging out the weekend of the WM but other than that it was cool.
Its a pretty fun place on Thursdays. LATIN NIGHT with Jalapeño Cover band. Theyre pretty good. Lots of people. Service is good, and drinks are reasonable. Come Check it out! 😎
Great Sunday night vibe! Live music by a great band, Reminisce!Ages roughly 25-65 with the majority of attendees probably between 40-55. A must do for Phoenix adults.
Drinks were good but the dj was terrible. He didnt know what Era of music to stay in. The crowd was mixed with young and old, with a really small dance floor. Cigar smokers outside and bottle service inside. This place has potential with better music. You cant go from bad bunny to journey . Especially before 2am 😂
The drinks were disgusting. They use cheap alcohol and over charge for something that is barely drinkable.
I loved the Band on Saturday. The atmosphere was cool. Charging crazy high prices to reserve a table is insane. The food was really good, and the margaritas were a little light on the tequila, but overage had a good time.
I asked for Don Jolie drink . I watched the girl pour gray goose in the glasses. When I confronted her she said she was making a lot of drinks so I saw somebody else’s drink. There was only my glasses there. The manager lied for her, too. I was sitting right in front of her watching her pour the drinks. It happened once before. I asked for Kendal Jackson wine she gave me house. And charged me for the kendle. Last time going there. They have gone done so much. They must be hard up. That is no way to get business.
They were trying to charge an additional $15 just to get in. We just wanted to grab a drink.
I went on Saturday night. Great live music. This place is labeled a hip hop bar while that is true its not contemporary hip hop. Its more like the Rob Base sorta stuff. The live band is amazing. There are 3 great singers who compliment each other in range and harmony. After they are done the DJ he spun mostly classic top 40 dance hits. The crowd, and not afraid to hit the dance floor.Service good.Food good.Drinks good.Bathroom clean with staff inside serving cologne and gum.Big 2 sides bar and stage area.
Went there to celebrate my birthday, and see my family perform there also. The Reminsence Band.
Its always an awesome time at Blue Martini. Especially on Sunday 🌙, the band, dj, and vibes paired with amazing cocktails 🍸 👌 🙌 and small bites. Superb 💙 💙 💙 👌 👌 😍.
Great time here went for business and pleasure waitress was spit on kept drinks coming and the atmosphere was great good music and all, met a blind date here great time
Best big band night life...very classy an fun vibe! Indoor/outdoor areas with a good drunk selection. Weve been here a few times and music is great, you can help but get on the dance floor. The bathrooms are clean everytime and thats a must! My only suggestion if you want a table get there early or reserve!
Went on a Sunday evening for drinks only so, I cant speak on the quality of their food.Enjoyed music of a live band that did well at their cover music and selection. They surely paid attention to the crowd.Service was professional and kind.Their patio has an open area and is connected closely to inside area so, sitting inside at winter nights are cold. Suggest keeping your light jacket on. But, that is depending on your level of comfort in cooler weather in Arizona.
Waitress was great, super smokey outside with cigarettes weird vibes
This place is such a vibe on Sunday for the R&B live band @ 9 pm. Make sure you reserve a table or arrive early because its definitely the spot to be on Sunday night!
The place was cool. Live music, reasonable price drinks. However the bar tenders are really bad at working the bar. There was only one bartender per 20 seats at one bar and 2 at the other. they only stayed in one spot and never moved up and down to get drinks. I sat on one end for 20 minutes before having to get out of my chair reaching over the bar to flag them down. I then moved to the outside bar only to not be served at all. In the end its a cool spot with a good vibe but if youre looking to get a drink be prepared to wait for a very long time.
Menu was limited but the drinks were fire! Sundays after 8 are the best
I loved it! Im definitely going back. Great place to have fun for adults our age. Band was awesome. Dj was great. Staff were pro. People are open to enjoy the moment dancing wild.
Great location, terrible service and food. I would definitely recommend going somewhere else like AZ88. Where you are not served frozen pizza with molding Spinach and were the staff is welcoming. Blue martini is horrible service and good. Bathrooms were gross, no excuse they werent even busy and had plenty of staff just sitting around.
Not as nice as it used to be as far as price, selection of food, they even reduced the martini selection and the amount you get. Used to get the shaker and you would have a little more to add to your glass-not anymore. The staff is great as is the atmosphere.
Club experience. Loses a star due to $10 cover charge.
The drinks and food was over priced . The food wasn’t good. The band was good but extremely loud . We could not here each other speak. Had to yell over dinner. I was not impressed at all. We left early because our ear drums was about to pop and couldn’t take it anymore. They have got to do better. This was my second visit there . The first time was amazing . Although the waitress had great customer service and they should be thanking her for working there. Probably won’t ever go back there again.
Wow, I went for something different and very pleasantly surprised. The Martinis were good but nothing super exotic or unique. The food was fabulous. More like nice sized portions of tapas. They were all excellent and the seated tuna was of extraordinary quality. The band Friday night was great.Definitely worth the trip.
Every meal was dip in salt. So for you to by drinks. Just a pick up joint.
Foods was very good. Martinis, not. Would have expected a Martini bar to be the best. Had a lemon drop martini. Was very sweet, little vodka and watered down. Sent it back to be remade...no differenc. Very disappointed. Wont go back and would not suggest this place unless you just want food.
Been there on thursdays and saturdats good place to vibe and chill
Enjoyed our drinks and food and the service was great. Loved the happy hour 4-7pm. Only annoyance was the P206 tax added to the bill. Just charge more for your other things instead of making a statement about P206.
Really enjoy this club, band is good, and especially like the mixed age crowd, not just a bunch of kids...after midnight it starts to skew really younger though. Some cougars, but overall Ive met some nice ladies here.
I want to thank everyone Blue Martini for making me feel so special on my Birthday. Blue Martini found out my first celebration on Friday night didn’t go so well and they wanted to show me how a real Birthday celebration is done. They went above and beyond for me and literally erased Friday night. Tesha Laursen and DeDe are beautiful souls and spoiled me. The Manager Allen has the most amazing establishment and moving forward this is the only place I want to go.
Really have a great time at The Blue Martini! Taylor is AWESOME (the best) server & very personable. She is one of the primary reasons I frequent the Blue Martini!I will ALWAYS ask for Taylor upon arriving for I know the quality of service Taylor provides is second to none!Thank You Blue Martini for the quality & lovely experiences…patron for life.LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
This place has a good atmosphere also had three of the flatbreads I remember the pepperoni ,barbecue chicken had one more . also had way too much liquor that night. 😂🥳 truly appreciate the guys and their service the young ladies were very nice and cordial also.. see you on my next trip back to Arizona
Very disappointed came from out of town my honey and l we step to the cashier the price were 10 for womens and 20 for mens l feel the coverage charge should be 10 for all then we walked in every table had reserved on it which some table should be open period. The owner is money hungry to have this each Friday and Saturday nights. Rethink the process and think about the locals and out of town guest. 225.00 for a small reserved damm shame...
Food and drinks were fantastic! Band was scheduled for 8pm but never showed. DJ picked up the slack. He was pretty good but not quite the same. Over all nice experience.
Very fun atmosphere. Beautiful venue. The crowd was a mix of all ages and everyone was having a great time. The cover band was awesome and had us all dancing. Three bars to order from and no long waits. Plenty of sitting inside, at the bars and patio.
Fun place! Food and drinks are great. Love the free shot of Bar tenders choice, or Sparkles on a Tieramisu free dessert for your Birthday! My sister loved her surprise! A lot of places dont give free anymore! Loved the friendly workers too!!!
Havent been there for many years but going to make a point of visiting more!
This place is pretty legit if youre looking to be entertained in any number of ways. My wife and I went to this place a couple of weekends in a row because the vibe was to our liking and the live music and DJ were on point. Its an older crowd, which I reluctantly admit that I might have leveled up to the next age demographic (wife and I are hitting our 40s), and the people watching is phenomenal. The mix of people is eclectic and if youre on the prowl to nab you a cougar, THIS IS YOUR SPOT!!!
It was really wonderful the music was great. I felt welcome from the very beginning from the young man at the door. The bathrooms was playing the the woman that was in there was so wonderful. The drinks were good did not really care for the pepper chicken wings they were too salty. But other than that everything was really nice
The perfect place for a Girls Night Out! They always have great live bands a nice sized dance floor. Drinks are a bit pricey but overall a fun place!
I’ve been going to this place for a couple of months. I usually go on Thursdays for latin night and I love it. Good vibes, everyone dancing and great cocktails. Bartenders are very professional and friendly. They work fast and are consistent with their products. I highly recommend this place! Shout out to Tesha who always makes my drink before I even get to the bar! 🤙🏽
I came from out of state looking for a chill classy atmosphere to have fun on a Sunday evening. Good vibes on soul Sunday. Relaxed dress code with no cover. The band Reminisce was fun and there was a good sized crowd of average age about 40ish, but this is one of those places where no one dances. Everyone just sort of watches everyone else and nods to the music. Drinks were high (in my opinion) at $15 per cocktail. After a couple of hours I finally just had to clear my own small table of empty glasses but the waitress kept up with our water and cocktail requests. I didnt try the food but had we gotten there earlier, happy hour is half priced apps and drinks. Overall Id go again because I love live music.
I have gone here for years and this past Sunday was the first time I had a bad experience. The waitress was nice and all, but they require you to put a card on tab...ok, but then when I asked for the bill the waitress just ran my card without (1) providing an itemized bill (2) asking, because I was with another person. After I realized she charged my card, I told her that I was not paying my friend was and that we wanted an itemized bill first, well come to find out she overcharged us originally and was supposed to credit my card back, she advised me that her machine did not provide a credit receipt, but I could take a picture of the voided copy she was going to provide at the end of the night. It is 3 days later and my acct is over drafting like crazy, because I budget accordingly. This is ridiculous, so I suggest you cash out each time you purchase a drink, because $200 in over draft fees later, I am sure they wont be reimbursed.
Food is great. Service is great and the atmosphere is fun and exciting. You will likely meet new people and enjoy the dance floor.
This place is pricey but during my visit I had a great experience thanks to the bartender. his name was Blake. He was very attentive to everyone at the bar from what I could tell, and is the reason why this review got more than 3 stars... I sadly wasnt very impressed by the DJ, although he wasnt terrible. In my opinion they should play more dance music. The live music was good, but seemed to obviously cater to a specific crowd... I wish there had been more variety.
I have heard a ton about this place for years but have never been. As a woman in my 40 ‘s I really don’t do this type of nightlife anymore. I came here Fri night to meet up with some friends who’s husband was playing in the Band “ The Mark”.I was a little put off by the $5 cover charge but oh well. I haven’t paid a cover in years. At first glance it smelled like rich old men and Drakkar. It was packed and I noticed people of all ages 20’s—60’’s. My friends were at the bar I met up with them. The music was fantastic the band “ The Mark” was awesome playing hits from all decades. Service was good the bearded bartender was nice and gave service with a smile and water or beer every time I asked.Dance floor packed. People of all ages we’re having a great time. Guys of various ages pulled me off my chair to ask me to dance.I told myself I would make an appearance and leave but ended up staying until almost 1 I was having so much funI can now say I’ve tried this place and I’m glad I did and I actually can wait to go again.
I love this place. Being from from NY, its quite difficult to find spots with a diverse group of Mature crowds in AZ. But this one is of the best . They had a live band on the night I went. I didnt feel out of place. The Bartender was attentive and so was the waiter. Nice crowds of people having fun. I love the layout. Ill be going back...
So their dress code is confusing. No snap backs or ball caps but the waitresses wear spandex and tank tops. Stopped in for a few drinks before dinner and the pomegranate martini was meh.
Great night, watched our friend who plays in the band Burntwood perform. It was packed but service was still good. Drink prices were pretty high but its the Blue Martini and its expected. Didnt eat so cant comment on food. Overall a fun night. Bands were good, good night out on the town.
Ok, the place is cool and kind of swanky, the drinks are stiff and a good price at happy hour. Staff very attentive. But we ordered the crab dip and it was disgusting. Like pureed, stale fish stuck in a broiler with a lemon on top. I have never told a server that a plate was just gross until today. Bummer actually. Id go back I just wouldnt eat there.
I have has some of my best stories from this bar. This place always has a great looking crowd and the staff is awesome! I have been coming here for year and I have never had an issue here or a concern hadnt been addressed by the staff or management. The best tip here, their Happy Hour specials are incredible! Take advantage of the happy hour and come ready to dance and have a blast! We always do! Cheers!
Amazing bartender and food! Will come back on our next trip to Phoenix!
A sophisticated atmosphere, perfect for a happy hour gathering on the outside patio or to tuck into a dimly lit corner for date night. The highlight, as expected, is their drink menu. While there isn’t a full menu, the kitchen cooks up small plates; sort of a spin on your favorite finger foods. The shrimp & crab dip and the lobster tacos were tasty. While the food and drinks were good, the service could have been a little better. The place wasn’t crowded enough for our server to not be more attentive than she was.
Awesome place- great drinks, tasty food, and Tyler behind the bar will take good care of you! I didnt care much for the acoustic guitar guy, but Reminisce is definitely worth seeing again and again! If youre a bass player, get in there and watch DBazz on the bass!! Hes a show unto himself and probably the best bass player in Arizona.Update- was in last Sunday, and had another great time! Reminisce still rocks the house starting at 9:00PM, though you wont see them mentioned on the BM website for some reason. When I called to ask about entertainment, nobody answered. There really was a concert/party atmosphere, and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Liz behind the bar was personable, fun, and worked VERY hard to keep every customer topped off with food and drink! Stop in if youre in the area on a Sunday evening.
My boyfriend and I have been coming to Blue Martini for a couple years now and since the management take over with Charles, we could not be happier. Always so friendly and attentive to the customers. He makes sure everyone is taken care of not only having a good time but safely while in his hands. Lots of fun events. I recommend Blue Martini to anyone looking for a fun positive atmosphere to get down with the girls or enjoy and drink or two with your significant other.
Very sorry that Blue Martini Phoenix no longer has live music
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! Great food and great drinks! Service is always friendly, but very slow. It seems like the waitresses have way too much put on them. The last few times i went, I saw our waitress waiting way more tables than they could handle. It seems like they are understaffed and need more wait staff! The waitresses also were responsible for cleaning all tables on top of waiting too many tables to handle. Managment needs to step up and hire more staff. The speed of service is the only thing that keeps me from going regularly.
Very friendly bartender. We stopped here for a drink before our reservation in a nearby restaurant and were taken care immediately. The drinks were also phenomenal.
Showed up hoping to see a band and although one was supposed to pop up at 8ish, we were told that we had to leave by 8 because the table was reserved. Turns out they had a happy hour and our drinks were half off, but nobody said anything and our menu didnt reflect that, so I ordered less than what I would have if someone would have mentioned it. I wasnt offered a second drink or a second glass of water, just a check and confusion on how to actually enjoy myself so I was forced to pick another location because I wasnt trying to go home 😏 I gave two stars based on the drink... the drink was well made.
Amazing happy hour! Live music, and friendly upbeat staff when we went. Constantly removing plates as we sat for a while and ate small plates and sampled craft cocktails so wed always have ample table room. Glad to be invited out to find this place!
Terrible service, I gave them my hat to check into their checking service and they gave it to someone else. Then they pretended to care and get my info and I got there’s and now they ghost me. So now my military veterans hat is gone and I can’t get it back. They will not return my calls. Classy!!! Thanks Brit the front counter person!!
We came on Thursday for Latin Night with live music & I thoroughly enjoyed myself…even though I couldn’t eat. The kitchen makes the majority of their food during the day, so no type of accommodations were offered, not even sparing the minuscule amount of Bruschetta toppings to go with heavily salty tortilla chips. No fret, I enjoyed a good glass of Cab while I Salsa dance as the performers were energetic & engaging with the customers while belting out favorite Latin hits. Our tatted up Server handled four tables & did it like a pro. There’s no cover until 9pm, afterwards it’s $10. Not sure if Valet service is present as it wasn’t visible upon pulling up.One of many lounges/restaurants amongst the Work, Live & Play here development, so noise level inside & out is pretty loud. Sundays are R&B Nights playing old school music.I’ll make my way back for a Sunday visit.
The best selection of martinis I have ever seen! Awesome happy hour. I didn’t give 5 stars because of smoking allowed in the semi-outdoor patio.
Dont come here unless you make 6 figures. The prices of their drinks are outrageous. $30 for 2 drinks!!??! The place itself is nice. The crowd is mature, being in my 30s I feel like a minority. Its not a bad place if youre an older woman looking for your next ex/rich husband.
I know I work in one the bands but as a first time go to nightclub this place is pretty fun. They really cater to birthdays and the servers and stuff have always been so nice.
Natalie the bartender is the best! Good vibes, nice atmosphere and good live music every night. I had the shrimp cocktail and seared tuna which were high quality. Definitely will return next time Im in Arizona!
Great place to grab drinks, they always have a live band or DJ on Friday and Saturday. Definitely upscale and the crowd is not a bunch of twenty somethings. My wife and I always have a good time when we go here, plus the City North location is great.
Great live band playing old school music. The drinks are phenomenal. I had a chocolate martini my self and it did not disappoint. Well dressed, mature, mixed crowd. Will definitely go back.
Music on Friday and Saturday nights is pretty good but some songs dont get played long enough, like single verse only and then onto the next one. Staff is great
Blue Martini is my Go to place to have lunch and socialize on Sundays. From the light music at the patio to the old school tunes by the Reminisce band in the lounge later in the evening. The ambiance and the like- minded patrons are superb. I have taken all my friends from outta town there and they ALL love it.
Always fun but the band was way too loud and bass was not right. Could not hear the words to the songs. 10 year anniversary n they had no place to really sit. Most tables reserved for high prices! They took away all seats around stage and some by back bar. Cigar smoke a bit much as it filters inside. Bathrooms were not working this night had to go to a outhouse style which really was not convenient. Seriously on the 10 year party night ? Not cool
First time here, we live out of state and our daughter told us to try it out because of the atmosphere and being more our age. We brought a group of 6. We got there before 7 and drinks and food were half off which imo is the price they should be all the time but hey was happy about that. The poor reviews of the food are totally inaccurate, we ALL loved what we ordered; lamb chops, flat bread pepperoni pizza, lobster salad and the sliders, all EXCELLENT!!! Husband and I dance a lot, mostly 80s, motown to todays hip-hop genre and the band they had Neon are excellent and have beautiful voices except they need to step it up and not play so much sleepy music the first 2 hrs. Our server was very good and checked on us often. The BIGGEST improvement I can offer to the club is to remove some of the tables once the dancing starts as people stand by or around them and theres so much bumping into those who are just standing in the way along with NO drinks on the floor as I dont know how many times I was splashed by someones drink, NOT classy on this part. All in all, we had a blast and will be back. Left there around 11:30 and walked the area to look at the lights. Beautiful festive time of the year.
About last Night.OMG this Club was amazing.we had a good table. I been coming here over Ten Years at least. And let me tell you about this place. The Band Reminisce was Fantasy. They had an 80s party going on I didnt know. But it was good. The line was wrap around the corner. Its suck to be them but it was inside partying like it was 1999. And there food was off the chain. Meaning it was good. I Love this place. I always call it the # spot in AZ.
Is this a bar I can find a really nice cougar at? I wanna come here and meet one tonight for my birthday June30th I am 26 years old today just wanna know if this is a good spot to find cougars and single ladies
Overall this place was great and very spacious. The DJ played good music. Different age groups, but everyone was having a good time. The only downside is the drinks were kind of pricey.I will be returning to Blue Martini in the future
The music was top notch which definitely saved the experience. I did also enjoy the decor and layout of the club. $10 for the cover and $17.25 for a sub par Manhattan was what killed the night. Even though the womens common age was that of pre-retirement home status a well made cocktail would have made the evening quite enjoyable. The rating got bumped up from 2 stars to 3 due to the bartender Liz going out of her way to fix me another drink since the other bartender couldnt make a proper one. Hers was better, but still not having the right flavor to leave my pallet satisfied. Im guessing the sweet vermouth and bitters were of average quality which can only offer an average drink.
The staff was excellent . The Thai chicken skewers were good, as was the Ahi. Drinks were aplenty. Comfy couch seats inside. Band was lovely. Some more menu options would be nice. Friendly environment.
Excellent Happy Hour, awesome live music, and a great chillaxin vibe in AZ!!
I been 4 times now the first time was over 2 years ago for my girlfriends bday celebration. The 2nd time I threw a birthday party for my Sissy she never had one before in her adult life she loved the band. Reminisce the lead of the group even had a drink sent over to her. The 3rd time was last year Mothers Day weekend and incidentally musical legend Aretha Franklin had just passed away and the band sung Im Every Woman my mom had a blast she danced all night and truly enjoyed herself. The last time was date night the atmosphere is always friendly and main room has a romantic feeling to it. I absolutely love this place!! I have yet to be disappointed and Ive never had to pay a cover charge. 😄😍😍
From great to ghetto – avoid if possible, especially if you’re a female. Thieves and unsavory people are welcomed here.I used to come to this place often for the Azul (Thursday night) with my Latina friends, the music was good, the band OK and although the drinks are a little pricey, it is about the same than any other club in the area, the fact that it was a short drive from home just closed the deal.Fast forward to 2019, the DJ was changed, it is no longer Cesar but some other guy who played obscure Mexican songs, they added another DJ in the outside patio, so they lowered the volume which makes it awkward, but the band was good and made it up.BUT the quality of people who now show up on Latin night has decreased… to the point that I GOT MY IPHONE X STOLEN!!! Yes, you read well, a guy came over to our table and stole my cellphone! I was quick enough to see him do it and confronted him with the police who usually stays outside, the policemen basically told me they were not going to pursue that petty crime and I just wanted out of there, the manager told me he was going to kick the guy out since there were enough witnesses in my table (about 6 people) who saw the entire thing unfold… 5 minutes later the guy was allowed back in.One more thing, they used to frisk people before getting in… they no longer do it.I’m just going to stay away from the place and would recommend any female to do the same, I no longer consider it a safe place to have a fun night.
Fire! Beautiful ambiance in the Southwest. I’m from the East Coast, and my high expectations were severely met. Tentative staff, good and strong drinks, nice little menu and the live band was TORCH!!! I loved it and will be back again and again. Thank you!
The vibe is always good here! The drinks seemed a bit watered down and overpriced welcome to our new normal. But l wasnt there for the drinks 😋 I was too busy dancing to the great live music of Reminisce and the DJ!Anyway, you cant visit High Street and not visit Blue Martini, 👌🏾
Expensive drinks - definitely go during happy hour! Really good. Fun live music. But speakers were blasted on patio that ordering was hard - must know sign language!
Great Happy Hour prices, great martinis and great food at or near half price. 4pm to 8pm. Plenty of time to enjoy and relax without spending a fortune.
Went to this place because I really wanted a martini. The martini was excellent but the place just was not my scene- loud music and super dark. There was nothing wrong with it, I would just pick something a little more lowkey (and not so dimly lit) next time. Our server was lovely and the drink was great but it just want not my favorite place for a weeknight drink.
Never going back to this place, management is a joke and the employees are the rudest. My friends and i went over last night got seated and after almost an hour still no one bothered to see if we needed anything, I had to go up to the bar and get myself a drink. At the end of the night i requested to speak to a manager and was denied, after almost 30mins of waiting around i finally was able to chase him down and explain the situation. While speaking with the manager the security guy who denied getting me the manager stopped by and began to argue with me and the manager just stood by allowing this to happen. I will definitely never come back.
Very good drinks.great atmosphere. Food delious and fresh.Music and very crowded.
Blue martini is always a good time. The music is amazing and the atmosphere is so chill. If you are looking for a place where an older crowd parties this is the place. I go here because I am not surrounded by “Teenie boppers” as the average age is over 40. Happy hour is spot on as well. I have been coming here for 10+ years and I’m never disappointed.
Blue Martini is my go-to spot for live music. This establishment has the right mix of classy and cool. The drinks are pricey, but Lady Blue gals can get in for no cover charge and a free drink voucher. This is the spot to go if you’re looking to have a fun, low-key night in north Phoenix.
Great place! The atmosphere, food, drinks & band were amazing.
Neon band puts on a great concert at this BM! Bartenders are nice. Crowd is 35+ and drinks are ok. Loved the atmosphere! Dancing the night away. Also great DJ!! Awesome selection, adapted to the crowds age range. We truly had a good ol time here, being in vacation. The location of the place is super close to the exquisite Desert Ridge Mariott Resort. Uber costs $7... cant ask for more...
My daughter left her wallet at Blue Martini. She called the next day as soon as it opened after having left a voicemail earlier in the morning. She was happy to hear they had it. Due to work schedule, she was unable to go till the following day. She was told they no longer had it since they destroy credit cards after a month, it was only 2 days. When called they werent sure if it was destroyed, misplaced or what happened to it. Totally unorganized and a lack of respect for someones property. Keep in mind she also had cash and a drivers license as well as her wallet. So if there is a policy of destroying credit cards after a month or whatever the policy is, we heard a couple of versions, why destroy her wallet and cash. Regardless, they knew exactly who it belonged. The manager called me Big Dog and said I came at him from a position of disrespect. I assured him I called from a position of protecting my daughter. Then he said he cant help that my daughter lost her wallet. Though she misplaced it, they found it, confirmed that they had it and now they have no idea if they destroyed or cant find it. So who actually lost it?
Decent bar for those in mid 20s through 30s. Clean, safe environment. Appealing surroundings in a popular area. DJ was meh.
Great bands every time we have visited. Spent NYE here and had a great time despite the no dancing rule due to covid. They did a great job making the night special.
My cousin came in town to visit for the weekend... She has another cousin on her other side of her family who lives here as well... Her cousin is who decided we would meet there... It was supposed to be RnB night... So I picked my cousin up around 8 a we headed to meet her cousin... As we walked up there was country music playing and I heard a loud yes hah as we walked up... So we didnt go in... We walked back to the car and called her cousin who had not yet arrived... We thought she was playing a trick on us... A few minutes later she pulled up and we asked her why would she bring us to a country music bar? She said lets go check it out... When we walked back the whole scene had changed... They were playing RnB music and even had a great live band singing some great RnB songs... The drinks were great... We ordered wings and 2 orders of spinach dip... The food was fantastic... Over all it was a great experience... Nothing against country music and the people who listen to it... But now I know my crowd doesnt show up til 9...The service was good as well... So Ill definitely go again and would recommend this place for anyone who likes RnB... And I guess country too.
Loved the service, food(lamb chops and cheese platters were yummy) and ambience.Great bartenders who can keep up to the pace of large groups coupled with servers who can bring out orders make this place a great one. Will recommend to anyone!
The best entertainment in Phoenix. Live music almost every single night with some great bands and great people. Latin night on Thursday it is the busiest and a “Must go” if you haven’t been yet. Fashionable, chic and classy, it is what separate Blue Martini from other businesses around.Disadvantage: Once you try it one time, you want to go again!
After the response from the owner to give this location another try, I did just that! It was a holiday weekend so there were a couple of options on where to have drinks. But we came here. My party and I arrived at 8:30pm only to find that there was ABSOLUTELY no where to sit. We saw practically 3/4 of building with vacant tables but with reserved signs on them. When I asked if there were any tables available, I was advised that there was a table available all the way in the back with a minimum spend of $350. Which was absurd to me. I noticed at the one section of the building that was occupied with people that there was no cover and no restrictions on seating. I dont really have an issue with that but the problem is that those individuals were able to stay and occupy their seats, without having to pay or have a minimum table spend and we were left to stand. A group felt bad and gave us their toble to sit. They said it was apparent that we werent from AZ. After sitting for a few minutes we were told that the table was also reserved but can stay until it was needed. The waitress seemed to believe no one would show for the table. We stayed and ate and drink- it was our last night in AZ! I thought it was sad that the place closed at 2:00am but had people standing in line for more than 45 minutes and it was nearly 1:00am. It was an 80s theme night but aside from the theme there was nothing extravagant going on to require a minimum table spend of $350. I guess this was the advantage BM had for being open during the holiday weekend.
Good drinks. Nice crowd. Live music depending on the night, we loved the fact that there was parking ! Cover on Saturday nights, not sure about other nights. Ladies are $5 and men are $10
Not sure if theres been a change of owner, but boy, theres been a change of attitude of staff. 2am rolls around and they get belligerent and rude. Used to be good choice for a classy night out, but wont be back. Saw a large party also get the heavy-handed treatment, Im sure theyll be of the same opinion. When you shoot for customers with good disposable income, they wont put up with low-rent attitudes from staff - well simply go elsewhere.
They stopped having live music
Been here a few times but never after 10 PM. Lively crowd and the live band was really good. Everybody was having a good time. The only surprise was the cover charge at the door. That was unexpected for this kind of place, but it was worth it.
Why is it so hard to have a cocktail waitress ask you if you want a drink? Money left in my wallet. Nice place but the door people are also a bit over the top. It is like security....where is the hospitality? The greeting? Otherwise a nice looking place.
Strong drinks, nothing unique but I guess if you want more of a bar than a restaurant you could come here but honestly, with Ocean Prime within walking distance, they are the place to go for cocktails in High Street. Its not quite as upscale as theyd lead you to believe. The restroom attendants were kinda more of a bother than a convenience from both my wife and Is perspective.
Overpriced everything. If theres a band playing they will rope off the tables around the bar in case some rich people want to pay the bottle fee for the use of the table snd chairs. If no one offers to pay, no one sits at the table because theyre roped off and reserved. Everyone else has to find seats much further from the band. Thats called managing by exception. Everyone notices this. Your patrons arent stupid. 4 words. Happy hour then bolt.
Upon entering with my aunt of almost 61, we were asked for IDs. Okay sure why not... The restaurant was completely empty but the patio was full and there was a band with live music. I cant say I was that impressed. We ended leaving since it just seem stuffy and hot on the patio. I still feel the need to go back but on a cooler day.
I was on a much needed vacation from Michigan and have always dined at nice places....I came to blue martini because a friend that lives in Arizona mentioned it and I was somewhat disappointed with the service I received when there, the waitress was not attentive, rude and busy chatting with co workers and didnt seem to care about customer service. For it to be such a nice place the owner should make sure management trains and watch the people they have serving their customers! I also had to send back dirty silverware and complain about the waitress that served me that night and made sure that I was served by anyone else but her. The manager that night apologized and made things right....FYI: To the owner dont allow bad employees to ruin such a nice place.
Great venue. Great DJ. Nice ambiance. A bit pricey but worth it. The most normal feeling night out Ive had since March, while still feeling safe in light of current challenges.
I went 7:45 pm it and drinking none alcohol beverages eventing Nice. I went go my cars get my cigarettes I have American flag on hats some door men sort mexican or Latino got beard grey hair no mustach and he try take my hat of I show him theres 3 or more people Very hat he told me prohibited take of hat or get out before i check in restorante no problem I went out side 3 minutes. you cant not very hat guy have think hes in blue martini in side hes a power the losing customer Place get in worst Because of this kind of people I never go again the grills Waiters she so nice to me I explained her shes get angry losing customer good luck dors man bye-bye Blue martini
It was okay. For a friday night, it was packed, but this lady was really drunk and kept stumbling all over the place. Within the first five minutes of us sitting, she fell and hit her face on our table. When I said something to a server, she told security. He went to her group and said something, which was appreciated, but he came right to our table immediately after. Which I think was in extreme poor taste. For the rest of the night, we endured dirty looks and long stares. I cant blame poor training on Blue Martini, I blame the security because its really common sense. What if the lady was an aggressive drunk, or the group tried to say or do something to us? That whole scenario would have been a liability, and I would have no problem taking it to court.
Ive been here a few times and I have to say the drinks are really good and I like the music, but the service is terrible. I had to hunt down the waitress several time for service. I had to go to the bar and get my own water because she was nowhere to be found. She gave me my check when I had been planning to order another drink. I felt like she just wanted us out if there. Oh and she tried to overcharge us for our drinks. I dont really like the required attire for the waitresses, but I understand a lot if bars require the women to wear revealing clothes, but cant they at least have their butt cracks covered. I think that is so trashy and I will think twice about if I ever want to come back.
Great bands, great dancing. Hard to get a server sometimes and locate your bankcard to cash out. I waited for over 30 min, walked to two different bars and was directed to my MIA server. :/ Lesson learned, I wont be leaving an open tab here again.
Excellent. Great vibe. Nice nuances for seating areas. Great staff. Music & Band was great. Good expensive drinks. Fun Place. No Mt Gay Rum, however....
Very unprofessional very unpleasantalmost racist. The so called manager toldme to remove my hat after I point to thehostess that 4 people had same caps on,I cant believe it normally I dont have acap on and when I come there withfriends my tab is $300/500 always butthen the manager behind 3 securityguards and 4 cops said he isnt scared ofme and called me a scumbag. Mescumbag for pointing out about therebiased policies never again
Music was meh and drinks over priced with a cover too! The place is beautiful and modern though. The staff was very friendly. If the music was better, it may have gotten 4 🌟.
Went to see a band that played for the first time and they were great. Wish reservations werent so outrageous but we at least found a spot at the bar for the night.
I’m giving 5 stars because it’s super cute and good service, but beware that if you’re under 30 you’ll feel super out of place… average age is probably 40-50 here. Great place, but I probably came here 10 years too early.
Druged the first time my friend from England and I went after relocating from FL. Went to Tampa location for over 10 years and never had a problem. I am a VIP whatever that means.Second time I went I was surprised at the older crowd but they were nice people. Also, Blue covered my pizza tab as I had left my debit card at previous place. But honestly we both had one drink the and it was served as the free VIP drink so worried bartenders could be in on drugging people. Will NOT EVER go back
Love the atmosphere and cocktails. Happy hour makes it worth it because drinks get pricey after its over. The flat bread Pizza was MONEY! So delicious.
A special event was happening when we arrived for dinner just after 7 pm. So our seating options were restricted. What REALLY was the worse part of the experience was the amount of time it took to be noticed by any server BEFORE we were approached to even get water, over 30 minutes!!! Once service began it wasnt too bad, however, AFTER wed paid the check, I was LEFT waiting AGAIN for another 25 minutes, never heard from the server again, to try to get my food boxed up to bring home. At 9:20pm, I was fed up and FINALLY just left!!! Half of my expensive Brie platter left for the trash! I will NOT be returning. Horrible to have to sit abandoned by staff before and after for more than an hour. Arrived at 7:02 pm, LEFT angrily at 9:27 pm! Absurd for a simple 2 person dinner one drink each and one food order each! NOT worth my 2.5 hours. They werent even that busy!
Nice, classy, upscale bar with love music and then DJ into the night. Didnt try the food, but atmosphere was great and lots of pretty people
Nice ,friendly place love the vibes everyone just has fun . Food needs lil work artichoke is dry not creamy
