I just got done with a 90 minute massage with Cynthia and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She was so friendly and warm, she really knew her stuff, her massage technique was on point and she knew exactly what I needed just by glancing at me. She was absolutely amazing. The counter staff are always friendly and helpful as well. The location is clean and attractive. A great experience from the moment you set foot in the door.

I scheduled an appointment on Friday, for the following Sunday at 2:30 pm. I have been dealing with chronic neck pain which has been giving me headaches/ migraines. I am also 7 weeks expecting, with my very 1st. I was not asking for any prenatal services, purely wanted to the 90 minute session on my neck and upper back. I understand if it’s company policy to only be operated on by someone certified by prenatal- regardless of what type of massage I got for their legal safety but they did not explain that. Again, this is my first time being pregnant I don’t know all the legalities for certain places. All they kept saying when I told them I was pregnant is my massage therapist can’t do prenatal massages because she wasn’t certified to do so. I told them I don’t need a prenatal massage , only on my neck - This happened on the phone when I made the appointment too. We went back and forth a few times as I was explaining, and then they finally said they get it and they scheduled me. I got a text morning of, saying they see in my notes I was pregnant and they’re not certified to do prenatal massages so they had to reschedule. I called the location again and told them I DONT NEED A PRENATAL MASSAGE , I have had chronic neck pain that has been interfering with my job and overall health at this point. They made me hold and had someone else got on the line where she FINALLY told me it doesn’t matter that type of massage I get they cannot touch me if they’re not certified for prenatal at all due to legality reasons. It’s not the reasoning that makes me write this review- it’s the lack of clear communication on their end. I’ve done massage envy before and I’ve loved their work. I’m really dissatisfied with the lack of clear communication and honestly stressed even more because of how severe my neck pain is and how desperate I was looking forward to this massage. Again it’s not the policy itself it’s how annoying it was for them to just tell me that the day of my appointment.

Angelo is a knowledgeable massage therapist. Not just a normal massage, he applies therapeutic techniques to any issues you have with your muscles. He also provides range of motion and stretch techniques.I decided to add some essential oil options they offer to my massage and chose “Detox”. Included was Lemon, Grapefruit and Juniper Essential Oils. Simply Amazing!!They even give you what’s left over in the bottle to take home. The entire room Smelled Amazing!I leave feeling REJUVENATED every time!! Also Ciera, Daniel, Enrique and Bethany.Thank you so much!!

Hello! I love this location ! The customer service is great & I have a wonderful massage therapist ! Cyndi Love does such a great job! When I leave there all my knots are out of my muscles & I feel like new again !Kathy gives an amazing facial ! I always get compliments on my skin & I owe it to Kathy ! :)I suggest getting a membership to this heavenly place ! :)

Paid for a 30 minute stretch & it lasted 18 minutes. Also she hurt my bad knee after I told her to be careful with it. The full body massage a got was average at best. If you miss an appointment they charge you full price and don’t care to call or text you if you don’t show or do something for you as a compromise, I understand the workers need to get paid but the company should work with you in some way. Bad business practice I think.

When they want to sell gift cards or others, they sent emails. But they didnt send any email my membership expiring. I had 2 paid massage. Last month my membership expired that I didnt know. They didnt even send an email about my membership expiring soon and I lost 2 paid massage. $160 lost. I was member since 2012. They should offer a reverse, but they didnt. No more Massage Envy. Ever! I have seen a new massage franchise called Elements Massage. I will try out them. I m a very honest person. You can read my another review below I left 9 years ago. Now, I left negative because this is not a good costumer relationship.Massage therapists were %50 chances massage envy in any way. Some good Some very bad. So, why should I continue in massage envy. I will give my money other places.

*this is NOT a massage/aesthetician review**PROS: Fully stocked product section, convenient locationCONS: I’ve been here twice now, needing a specific skincare product. Both times were Sunday evenings, when the posted business hours are 8am-8pm. I arrived around 7:30pm to find the doors locked. Since it was within posted operation hours, I called, & was subsequently let in to purchase the item. If I were the franchisee, I would want my business hours to be honored by my employees; customers can’t show up during posted hours to find the business closed.

This was my first time. It hurt I told the guy many times to lower the pressure, to go lighter, and to be softer. He didnt listen my back muscles hurt so bad now. At the end he told me I wasnt a fit for him. Because he does a deep rub mind you they told me to tell them what i needed he refused to listen. mind you it was my first time. worse 60 minutes ever. I wanted a massage not a treatment 😩

Laura is absolutely the best! The Facials are always relaxing and give my face a beautiful glow. Highly recommend her for your next facial .

Was my go to for a solid year. I’d see Tina 1-2 times a month for full body, normal-firm deep tissue. I haven’t been to this location since July 2018 so the staff might have changed. Let me put it this way my whole family that I love dearly live in Phoenix, if I were to return it’d be to see Tina.

Due to a therapists illness, my appointment was moved 2 times. The communication, professionalism and service was top notch. They were very accommodating and kind. The therapist who I was with was Mary. She was very polite and kind. She did a great job. I felt as if I melted into the table. I will definitely be back to this office and also use Mary again for massage therapy. EXCELLENT ACROSS THE BOARD! Well done Massage Envy staff

BEWARE OF THEIR OILSWent in on 05/15/2023 to enjoy belated mother’s day pampering. The service LaDonna provided was FABULOUS. She is talented and is a great conversationalist.However my grief is with the product that they have their therapists use. The oils completely ruined my Tory Burch Miller Sandals. I bought the shoes as a belated birthday gift to myself in march. so I didn’t get to enjoy them for very long. When I called today, to finally get answer, The front desk agent wasn’t very sympathetic that their location has ruined a $200 pair shoes. instead they offered a free enhancement. Excuse me? $20 credit for shoes that cost 10 times that. That offer was sickening and sad. A real slap to the face. I let the same person know that I will never return, and she just said “okay, well keep the idea that your things could be damaged if you ever choose to visit us again, maybe opt in for the lotion.” Um, NO. In fact i’ll do everything I can to let people know that they ruin personal property and have no sympathy whatsoever. I understand policy is policy, but maybe try understanding that these clients pay a pretty penny to come and pay their salaries, however little or much it is. AVIOD UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR PERSONAL ITEMS RUINED

Experience couldn’t have been better!I enjoyed my first time experience very much at the Paradise Valley Massage Envy! All the employees were very helpful and kind, I felt very at ease and taken care of. This was my first time getting a massage and coming to massage envy was a great decision! Ciera was above and beyond helpful and made my experience worth while. She was very kind and made me feel comfortable the whole session. Not only was she amazing at her job which made me feel so much better, but she made me feel so at ease. I will definitely be going back!

I had a 90 minute deep tissue with Daniel. It was by far the best deep tissue I have ever had . I am a massage therapist myself and have had oceans of massages all over the world ! Daniel is incredible !!!! Very professional, intuitive, and knowledgeable of anatomy. Bravo !!

I travel to the Tatum/ Thunderbird location because word on the street was that they are great. I got the membership and have book 4 times. Honestly everyone there is great- desk folk and massage people both. Very accommodating and great at listening. I book with Dawn ( whose name is Leslie but there is also another Leslie so dont let that confuse you). Dawn is very personable and professional. She tailors the massage to areas that need work and I appreciate it. I am a firm believer in regular massage and am picky so if youre looking for a new place try it out!

Daniel is always prepared and on time with my special request for a breastplate cushion. He remembers my priorities and preferences and his deep pressure stays consistent instead of making it easier on himself. He is always a great listener and I leave feeling like I am leaving my best friend!

I almost cancelled my membership until I found Daniel. He is the best! He listens and makes the massage feel good opposed to a mechanical massage that I have experienced multiple times in past. He will let you sleep, relax or vent but most often I go into a state of meditation and feel great for days. Thank you Daniel for being so awesome.

Antonia was very good. She got all the muscles that needed to have the knots worked out. She’s very knowledgeable and comfortable to be with. I felt great after the massage. I would highly recommend her!

I have been going to Rhiannon fir about six months or so and so far and I really like the service she provides. I have scheduled future appointments with her because I find her to be professional and she doesn’t force products to buy on me. I have my own personal preference to my morning and night creams and she respects my choices and she’s familiar with the brands I use. I will be continuing to book my monthly facials with her. I noticed this last time she had very few extractions to do so I believe having a professional facial is truly helping my skin.

Enrique worked out some extremely tight muscles that were causing me a lot of pain. Very skilled and kind. Front desk staff was friendly and easy to work with. Really recommend this location!

Janet is the best at therapeutic stretch, and an excellent massage therapist! She is wise and has helped significantly to melt muscle knots and relieve pain. Given a little insight into where I need work, she sources the cause and goes deep, always sensitive to my pressure preferences. She knows how conditions in one area impact other areas and works the whole person to bring great relief. She is the best!

Elva was the best . She really made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She also addressed my problem areas. She check to make sure the pressure she was using was not too hard or too light. I enjoyed my entire visit. Overall it was a 5+ form the time I entered the building, friendly staff greeted me and thanked me for coming. ❤️

Gail is amazing! She’s a ray of sunshine and my massage was very relaxing. I was passing by from out of state since my family and I came to visit one of the resorts here in AZ. I will definitely come back to visit Gail during another trip.

Daniel is by far the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. He provides the perfect pressure around difficult areas giving great relief. I feel brand new after my monthly massage.

Enrique is great! Just the right amount of communication so you know he cares, making sure you are comfortable without interrupting the relaxing experience. He finds my tension points and works them out with just the right amount of pressure! He also adds stretching when and where he sees a need. He knows instinctively what is needed. Great therapist!

Very clean, relaxing, and such great therapists. Ive been going to Massage Envy, this location specifically, for at least 14 years, most likely longer! They have always been very good at communication, and when Im on a wait list for a popular therapist, they *actually* call me when he/she has an opening! My absolute *favorite* therapist is Daniel, The King of Neck Massage, lol. He does excellent trigger point work and deep tissue, but can also use a lighter touch if one prefers. And he really is amazing with neck work!! Highly recommend him and book him right away because he can fill up weeks in advance! Another wonderful therapist is Karlo.

Oh. My. God. I came in Monday 8-1-22 @ 11:30 for an hour massage. I think I forgot my therapists name (something with an A maybe? Plus thorough and strong, with hands of magic that know exactly how to properly distribute a -perfect- amount of pressure comfortably), but in fairness, she made me forget my own name for a while too. Ill get that name and update this review accordingly, because I will be back soon, without any doubt.Update: web dashboard says Ciera. Ciera is awesome.The service couldnt be much more convenient. I called to book, walked in two hours later, and in mere moments Im lying on a massage table. Finished up and left to smiles and well wishes. Given my proximity and MEs efficiency, I can absolutely have a one hour service completed in an actual hour, plus its smack dab in the middle of a roughly four minute drive to and from home & work. Itll surely be even more convenient once I figure out how to make a booking account on their website or mobile apps.I left my glasses in the car so I couldnt really read that recommended gratuity board. I saw numbers like 15% or 20% though, and I think such a restaurant tip is ludicrous when its for a much more difficult and personal service from a stranger. This is certainly worth a greater gratuity than the 20-25% Ill give a barber for simply shaving my head. Id really like to know for sure if 30-35%, or like $30/hr gratuity, is sufficient to avoid being that cheap guy. This is now an essential service and legitimate work expense in my opinion, and I live across the street, so I hope and intend to do this regularly. Their rates, plus whatever worthy gratuity, are more than fair, especially in todays economy.Thanks ME!

Experienced pretty terrible customer service during a visit here with my wife. To give some backstory here, this location is normally booked out on the weekends. My wife noticed the evening before that an appointment had opened up for the following day with Patrice, most likely due to a cancellation. So I called the location to see if it was possible to book this opening for my wife with one of my mothers credits that she has accumulated during the pandemic when they were closed. The female employee on the phone confirmed the opening and held the time under my wifes profile (shes a prior member). Once she confirmed it was on hold, she told me that all I would need to do is have my mother call over and transfer a credit to cover the visit. Within less than 5 minutes my mother calls to transfer the credit, confirms my wifes phone number, and is told we are all set. When we arrive for the appointment, the female at the desk tells my wife that there is no booking under her name or profile. Instead, they had booked someone else for that timeslot. When I told them that I called to book for her the day before, the employee confirms that she was the one I spoke with. She then proceeds to tell us that they held the spot until midnight (not even open that late) and that because I didnt call back again, they booked it out with someone else. I was never told that I would need to call back to confirm the appointment I just requested to hold, which they confirmed with my mother a mere 10 minutes later after transferring the credit. Hello poor communication...What baffles me is that between 8 am and 11am the day of the appointment, they never called us back (my wifes phone number is on her profile) to tell us they were canceling our hold/appointment. Clearly frustrated with this, we left. No apologies, no offer to make it right on their end for their poor communication or anything. Thanks for wasting our time, I wont come back to this location. If you are sharing your credits with someone here, dont forget to triple confirm with the front desk.

Very nice, great customer service, inquired about trouble areas &/or medical issues, explained plan for therapy on each area & gained consent. Appreciated her knowledge & experience. Only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars is I would have liked just a tad but less talking for my own relaxation time. The talking was related to her experience & plan of care, which was important but I would prefer a bit less of it. Otherwise outstanding.

I believe ive been coming to this Massage Envy for 5 years now. Janet is my therapist and she is fantastic. My first visit was an emergency on Christmas Eve day. Janet got to the root of the problem and since that time I have seen her every 4 weeks. Even though Janet is familiar with my issues she never fails to ask about possible health changes or focus areas. I plan on seeing Janet forever!

Been going to this location for years and Elva does an amazing job. I go about every three weeks and definitely feel great afterwards. Highly suggest this location as my wife goes as well. Only knock is the text notifications to go into the building when they are ready. Waited after my appointment time and still nothing so I just walked in.

Daniel is an excellent listener and has truly helped me during this healing journey. After years of chronic shoulder pain, he truly makes maintenance a priority for me and reinforced the concept of taking preventive steps to avoid future injury. I’m very grateful for his help and his skills.

Ive been coming to this Massage Envy location for several years and always go to Daniel. Hes awesome! Highly recommend, especially if you get lots of headaches like me. Ive recently noticed a huge shift in customer service from everyone here and it feels less sales-y and more therapeutic and relaxing (which is usually the vibe you want when youre going for a massage).

This company has really turned around!Therapists are staying longer now. Which is great, because I loathe having to restart with a new massage therapist!I see both Emily & Amy here! They are fantastic!!

It was my first time getting a facial and my birthday. Nothing was explained very well at all. They new it was my first time and nothing was talked through. It was relaxing and Im sure I fell asleep once or twice on the table. I just was things were explained to me of what would be happening. Definitely wasnt what I expected I thought there would be cleaning of my pores, it seemed it was just a moisturizer face massage. Probably wont be going back.

I highly recommend seeing Patrice at the paradise valley location. Very knowledgeable and will take the time to listen. She gives a wonderful massage. Coral at the front desk is always so helpful and will go above and beyond to make sure to take care of scheduling appointments.

Ciera was an amazing therapist! I’m confused though. My appt was for 10, she didn’t come out and get me until 10:12 and then she finished at 10:59. It just seems like the massage should have gone 10 minutes longer at least? Maybe I’m wrong though?

Made an online, first time appointment with Patrice. The office called me and prepped me on their Covid process. They also mentioned that Patrice has a heightened sense of smell and allergies to all scents. They told me not to put on any scented creams or perfume. I didn’t think anything of it. My body lotion was applied at 6am and my appointment was at 4:30pm. Long story short, as soon as I get into the room with her she accuses me of wearing perfume and says she can’t work with me. She was kind of rude/crazy about it. There was nobody else available. So my warning to you is if you wash your body or hair with anything that has a scent, do not book with Patrice. Patrice should rethink her career choice.

I booked my appointment online and showed up and got all checked in--even paid ahead of time. When the masseur came out and said a name it was not mine. It seems they double booked the schedule. I was extremely disappointed as my shoulders had been hurting pretty bad and nothing was compensated over this mixup. There are many places to go get a massage so I would recommend finding somewhere else to go.Update to my review: I received a call from the manager and they compensated me with a massage. Alex gave an awesome massage and would recommend.

Good service. BUT I was surprised that the rate went up $10 per mo., and an additional $10 in addition to the $23 charge for the extra 30 min., which I was informed of at checkout. My 1 year contract is rate specific. This also eats into what people leave for tips.

I have been to Patrice previously. She cares about her clients’ concerns and suggests muscles involved that should be worked on depending on clients’ pain points. Her knowledge of massage benefits for the body is obvious and very helpful.

I enjoy the opportunity to access a variety of massage styles from a wide selection of therapists. It is easy to match what my body needs any particular day with the therapists at Massage Envy. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

I went into an Anxiety Panic Attack! I walked in wanting to relax and all I received was Fn questions. Was a gift from my Cousin & I walked out. My Cousin went in for a 60 Minute Facial as well, started 3:45pm done by 4:30pm, what a horrible company.Sent me 3 questionnaires; 2 to confirm appointment and another about Covid info. Upon arrival was given another questionnaire about my skin type, daily treatments, skin care line & etc, could have been sent beforehand. In room with treapist had more questions; treatment wanted, treatments recently had (botox/waxing & etc). The woman Kathy, had a mask on, spoke low and her English wasnt great, couldnt understand her. I would have liked to have beforehand information about treatment selections going into a new place. Will NEVER go back to a Massage Envy.

Angelo did an amazing job stretching my previously broken hip and was cautious about my foot surgery. He listened very well and only went as far as I needed him to. Loved loved loved

From the minute they answer the phone theyre trying to sell you something. Ive been in there 3 times and at least twice they cut my massage short. They call it an hour massage, which means 50 minutes and then they find a way to make it 44-45 minutes!I dont think its not the therapists fault, I dont think the management allows enough time between massages.Then when you come out they try every trick in the book to try to get you to make another appointment or become a member.I left there feeling like I had just dealt with a used car salesman!Thats not how one should feel after a massage.

Karlo was great. I needed a firm message to a skiing injury and he did a great job of working it out. I am sure that he could have turned down the intensity but there are many message therapists that could not have worked that hard fir 60 minutes. He was also very knowledgeable on what was casing my pain and what to do in the following days in terms of stretching and exercise.This location did a great job of following COVID protocols. They provided all measures necessary to protect people.

My only disappointment was that the therapist turned on the timer BEFORE she left the room, giving me time to undress & get on the table. My “one hour” massage was closer to 47 minutes! 50 minutes is not an hour, & less than that is not acceptable

A year ago I was in a car accident that changed my life and left me with pain and muscle spasms daily. Today I got my first massage since the accident in hopes it would relieve at least a little muscle tension. I got more than I expected. I left feeling more relaxed than my muscles have been in a year. I also felt an emotional benefit from the massage as it was the first time I truly relaxed since the accident. My massage therapist was Monica, I highly suggest her as her therapy was mind, body and soul.

Was gifted my 1st massage. Leslie was very personable and really went to work on my back and shoulders. Ill be back again.

Love Karlo He’s outstanding Now the rest of staff can use training. For the last year either I or my husband get cd felled. We show up and we get sent home. Last year// manager was even rude to me. She wouldn’t sympathize with our dissapointment of been sent home. “You have no appt “. Clerk and manager didn’t care nor show any sympathy. No Apology. I had to raise my voice to get reaction then manager threatened me by calling police. It was bad. I didn’t return for months. Only retuned because of Karlo

Enrique was my masseur and he was absolutely fabulous. He really knows physiology and is very skilled, and was also very respectful and careful to preserve my modesty, which I appreciated.

Patrice was great! My massage was just the right amount of pressure and I slept like a baby. Patrice was very professional and will be back.

The year is 2022, the CDC has made it clear and admitted that the paper masks DO NOTHING to prevent the spread of Covid. Yet, Massage Envy thinks they are on the cutting edge of safety by requiring people to wear worthless paper masks, not only just in the waiting area but while you are face down on a table with your face in a pillow. are they TRYING to kill people? I will take my money elsewhere to establishments that use common sense and science to make their policies.

Leslie at Massage Envy is very adept at meeting my needs. I wish they could clone her so she can be more available.

I go for medical massages. They enable me to move with much less pain. Dawn is able to find the knots and dispell them. Having 3 falls in 18 months resulted in a torn rotator cuff, 4 torn labrums, and a torn meniscus. Massages have allowed me to get on with my life.

My massage with Ciera was so awesome that I decided to become a member. So far Ive had three massages with Ciera and they were all great!

Patrice is amazing, and knew exactly what areas to work on. She is very intuitive, friendly, and communicative. I will be back to see her next week, and frequently.

DAWN at massage envy pv is amazing. I almost don’t want to tell you about her because she’s really hard to get an appointment with because she’s so popular! And rightly so!

Best place to get a relaxing rub down. This location seems to professional staff that are clearly good at what they do. The customer service is great too soon as you walk in the front door. Only negative is the sales pitch on signing up you must listen to but not pushy at all. I highly recommend this place. Great location too!

She is the finest masseuse which I have ever had work on my back. She is the only masseuse able to to give me relief of my back pain.

I think Daniel does a great job. I wish there would be more surface area covered though. Like the top and back of the thighs.

Therapist (Zack) is great. Receptionists on the other hand need to learn that 1 cancelation isnt a personal attack on them.

What about ventilation? Front door stays closed. Door to hallway stays closed. Massage room door closed. Massage room ventilation takes some creative thinking. Why keep the other doors closed? Weather outside is delightful!

They never have availability and it is too busy. It is always uncomfortable blurting out how much gratuity to leave with a room full of people. I have cancelled my membership and won’t be going back.
