I was there this Sunday celebrating a good friends birthday—wow, what an amazing place! Their outdoor patio is perfect for this California weather. Hands down, their ceviche is one of the best Ive ever had. As a beer drinker, I loved their selection of draft beers. I also tried one of their in-house made Micheladas—amazing! I highly recommend this place.

NEW @iguanassportsclub menu in Downey.Great sports bar to watch baseball, football and basketball games. I was impressed, not only to try their new menu, but their refreshing and fun cocktails. Their mango Mexican shrimp ceviche and tacos were my favorite. Sliders 🍔 😋 were also great!The Cantarito with Tajín con tequila was refreshing and the Crunchyroll surprisingly delicious.Great place to watch a game, a date, Birthday celebration or just because. The food was satisfying and the drinks were delightful. i would definitely come here again.

Its a good bar BUT the waitresses are drinking and keep you waiting because they hangout with their friends that come in, ppl had to tell the waitress we were waiting multiple times. But other then that its a good place to hangout. Need better help.

Found this nice spot in Pico Rivera. Big space with high tops, booths and the bar top. Been going here to watch the Lakers playoffs. Amazing happy hour. Wings were some of the best I’ve tried. Delicious and creative cocktails. There is also karaoke and DJs certain nights. Check it out!-Mr. Cypress

Would guve it 5 stars but some thungs didnt sit right with me. I think our waitresses name is Sandra. We came on May 18th,2024 at around 9 PM. The food was delicious the drinks were good but the service SUCKS big time!!!! I asked her so many times for water and soda and it always took sooo long to receive while everyone else that barely came got attended to first. And then I was celebrating a cousins bday and we had 2 tables and she had her back towards us asking the 1st table what they wanted instead of checking in on us. Very rude never experienced that before. I understand its busy but dont deserve to get treated that way.

Food was good, Atmosphere is on point, but Servers are either not aware of their customers or they pick and choose who they serve. I arrived around 5:00p.m to wait 30 mins to get recognized by a server that I had to wave down. When I ordered the food it was Fresh Hot and Ready to eat along with ok drinks from the bar. The servers dont really attend you unless you wave them down, at least in my experience. Overall its a great place to watch sports, good place to eat, and nice atmosphere to dance and chill. Downfall is the servers imo.

They are so rude i made reservations for my birthday an when we arrived the security didnt let us in because my hubby has tatoos on his head wich werent visible he has hair n we even mentioned if he can put a hat on they said no it was so disappointing ruin our plans for my birthday to me it seem they were jus profiling us wen i made the reservations they could haveMade it clear about tatoos sucks cause who dosnt have tats now n days n the fat supervisor was the one being mean about it smh

Really fun place to hang out with friends and have drinks. There happy hour is amazing. Lots of TVs and indoor seating available. Hosts and servers are very nice.

Iguanas Sports Club has a real nice setup with gas burning features on the front for those chilling nights. Inside theres a nice ambiance with music and a nice sound and tv systems to watch sports or just chilling with your partner. Plenty of parking behind the building.

Lovely Staas pleasant restrooms great atmosphere. There is always parking. I have celebrated birthdays. Here I have attended karaoke nights, and other nights just for some drinks to drink so delicious. The food is great as well. It is a busy place so expect a bit of a delay on orders at times orders were forgotten. But the ambience is amazing.

Not a great place- had a deeply disappointing experience at this restaurant due to their discriminatory clothing policy. Its disheartening that a place that should be about enjoying food and company prioritizes judgment based on attire. Discrimination has no place in hospitality. Shame on you

We had a great time had a few drinks and chilled outside in the patio area. They have outdoor fire pits which give it a nice feel.

They like to steal money from you be careful. Youll pay for your bill and end up with tons of other unauthorized charges.

I went for happy hour and ordered the calamari and fries. The calamari was so hard that I couldnt bite through it. Even though I ate the seasoned fries which were good, he didnt charge me for the order.I went there on a previous evening and the DJ was good. There was dancing and it was almost too loud to hear ourselves talk.

Awesome place to grab some lunch or stop by at night and get all dolled up to go have drinks and enjoy some music. They had karaoke in Spanish when I went the first time, but it was already towards the end of the night. I stopped by during the day to grab some food to go and the waitress was so nice and pleasant. Ill definitely be going again.

Went to catch the fight that night. The place was packed. The sound system during the fight was so loud that I had to make earplugs out of toilet paper. Didnt eat. Drank beer

Stupid females That work here the waitresses are horrible at their job. Do not know their surrounding wait till 45 minutes just to get a menu waited additional 35 minutes just to get my drink ordered waited another hour for the food.I get it. Its a sports bar, but again Im at a bar. So the drink should come out a little bit more quicker.

I went to this bar as a recommendation. Being that it was a Tuesday night, it was pretty empty. They did have good music and even better Cadillac margaritas!! Omgoodness, very tasty and strong!! I was drunk after two of those drinks!! Had a great time with my husband and a couple of his friends!

Dont go to this place if you have any head or face tattoos. I offered to wear a hat and they said no because they already saw my tattoos. They do allow hats. Its a very casual place.

The food was not cooked properly. We ordered two separate dishes that had to be returned. The calamari was gooey and our flautas were burnt. The best thing we had was the guacamole and chips. Our server was great even though our food kept coming out wrong. The atmosphere was great and definitely see that being a nice place to drink and watch the games.

Great sports bar. Good drinks and beer service. Food is good, variety of appetizers. At some point in time it turns into a club vibe,dj music and dancing. It gets a lil too loud sometimes, but you can go outside to the patio. Overall Great place for sports, fights etc.

I havent ate here so cant rate their food just yet. I wont give them a 5 star because their outline/set up can be so much better for the evening dancing with the great space they have available. 1 great thing is having 2 different dance rooms even if one is a but cramped. I was happy they are 1 of the few late night places that actually has none alcohol beer. (Going on 1 year no alcohol, so it is important for me) I still get out and have tons of fun so dont feel bad for me, better yet give it a try. lol life is too precious, lets love, dance & enjoy the ride...

The rules entering the bar are ridiculous. “No heading tattoos” are you serious? The dress code was acceptable but a sport logo on the side was the head is not a reason not to let someone in

Was the early party of the day around 10:00 am. Had a bloody Mary. Was fantastic, so strong but almost unnoticed. Bartender was so fantastic and cheers to another bloody Mary from her.

Good place to go see the football games. Beer is a good price. They also have mix drinks. They have all the NFL game on TV.

Sara our server was great! She always made sure we were taken care of and had a great attitude. The food was good with a decent selection to choose from. Lots of tvs to watch as you enjoy your drinks and food. We will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere for a summer day

First time here. Staff was awesome and the waiter was great! Didnt have to wait long to be served. Drinks were strong just how I like em. DJ could have been better but we still had a good time. Will be returning

1st time there and it was a quick visit. Place is big with plenty of sitting. Service was good in the time I was there. Not sure if they have live music but there was a jukebox. Careful how much money you pay at jukebox because our songs never played. Definitely gotta go back.

I like this place. Too bad my cousin got drunk and doesnt want to go back lol said that they changed prices on the drinks. I think what happened is happy hour kicked in so the prices lowered and he thought they were over charging him in the first place or whatever... Anyway, this place has a good atmosphere. Lots of screens and a big screen right up the middle. Great place for sports. Drinks arent priced all crazy like some other places I like to go to. I would just suggest that you try to order when you have like ¼ of your drink left, because it gets real busy.

I am back I love this place. But today Nov. 25 I came with my nieces to celebrate a bday...The waitess was very nice & helpful.. The problem was the food it took 47Mins to come out..and the worst part was that the restaurant wasnt busy (4:30pm) Im very disappointed 😞 especially that we are regulars and send $$$$$ here. The older cook was like if they dont want to wait for the food they could leave... that was some BS...Again very disappointed 😞

Havent went to iguanas since last December. Patio looks very nice . Waitresses are always polite. The only thing is the restrooms are always nasty. Besides that food is good and atmosphere is great. Big flat screen TVs. Updating review from 1year and a half ago. recently went on 11/19/22. Restrooms are cleaner and upgraded.Only thing way my stars on the review went down is because the waiter that charged me for the bucket of beers never came back with my change. So pretty much I could imagine how many people I did that which that considers him a thief. And their drinks have gone dramatically high on pricing. Atmosphere still the place to be though but just that waiter that pretty much stole my money cuz never gave me my change back

Our first time here, and had to write about this place. There is spacious parking in the rear. Awesome staff, everyone from the security guards to the waiters and waitresses were friendly. The food was delicious and portions were perfect (we had the wings, sliders, and the Philly cheese steak sandwich). The playlist or dj was on point. Overall a great experience. Want to mention Freddy, our waiter for the night. He was super attentive and patient with us, really appreciate him! Will definitely be back

First time here and was waiting 20 minutes to be greeted at the table by a server. Was never greeted, but was acknowledged by 2 servers and still no one came to check on us. Security blamed it on shift change but that is no excuse. I’ve been serving for 8 years and part of the job is to be attentive.

I love what they did to the place. It looks totally different and modern, from TVs to bar stools.I enjoyed a menudo bowl with all condiments included, and it was surprisingly really good.I will return to enjoy the rest of the menu.

They dont play banda because they dont want the label of a Mexican bar, but their special include tacos&tequila/ margarita specials/ tacos/ ceviche/ but its not mexican.

The Service was Poor on a Wednesday at 6pm with only 10 people in the restaurant,, Food was Poor as well, Cold Fajitas and the hot wings cold as well.The Draft Bud Light should have been $3 but they charge $5.Extremely Disappointing,, We didnt say anything during our visit because We didnt feel confident they cared. I WAS having a good meal watching the game until the security guard came and literally picked up my table, without asking me, and moved it closer to the big screen, with my food and drink on it. I sat there with no table in front of me and asked them why he moved my table. He said he had to. Place has no class at all. No wonder he’s a bouncer. They just lost a consistent customer.

Big front seating area, the staff was nice but my waiter was the best, I believe his name was Luis!! Absolutely loved him. He was hilarious, great humor.Thank you

Big upgrade on the building and looks nice. Food is ok appetizer are quick and basic. Drinks are reasonable price. Need to work on access to get to the restroom. If your on a wheelchair itll be hard to access the restrooms when this place is crowded.

The music was extremely loud and very irritating. It was so loud I was unable to enjoy my drink and have a conversation with the person next to me, so we left early and went to another bar down the street. I truly felt sorry for the staff that has to deal with this every night.

We went over a month ago for a friends birthday and brought about 20 people with us. We had a good time no problems. Last night we went with the same friend and within minutes of getting there we were asked to leave. They said their policy had changed and my friends tattoos were against dress code. I felt discriminated against and I will never go back. Ill tell all my friends the same .

Waitres never comes to your table. You always have to be on the look out of waitress. This is the second time I come. The first time I let it slide because I thought maybe the waitress is having a rough time. But coming back the second time and it even worse. I order food and food took forever to come I order 3 beers before my food ever came. I could not see or find my waitress. Even ordering extra drinks drink took for ever. And when I asked about my food the waitress would say. Oh its coming. Really bad service . Dont come here.

I had a horrible experience, they handed me a dirty cup multiple times , and also a broken one .The shrimp wasnt peeled right and the nacho cheese was all cold 😫. I wouldnt recommend this place.

Stopped for lunch. About 12:30. Large crowd Fantasy Football drafting players.. Good service a little slow but large group to take care of, food was decent. Three of us had Baja tacos, they were OK, tortillas need better quality.

Good place to go dance on a tuesday. Gets packed. Bad thing is the dance floor is too small so everyone keeps pushing each other. Also bad is ghetto ppl are there so theyre always starting fights. $5 entrance cant go wrong there.

I love this place. Ive been there on a Tuesday night and the place was still full of people, socially distanced and required to wear a mask. Everytime Ive gone here we order a tower of beer and just people watch. Every type of person from almost every walk of life was here to dri k and have a good time.

We were supposed to celebrate a birthday but due to a fight that broke out the weekend before a few of our members were not allowed in because of dress code and tattoos yet the same people were at the same club last weekend as well but had no involvement with any fight and no more hats allowed

The worst place to visit, the Waitress let us per shot $16 and per bottle $150 and finally they charged us $406 JUST FOR A BOTTLE!!! In Thursday! I will never recommender this place.

My husband and I were seated in a table that accomodates up to four people. The entire time we were perfectly fine enyoing ourselves. The place was starting to get packed and there were no more tables available to seat people. The waitress then approached us asking us if we minded if she sat other people in our table. With the Covid-19 going on and according to the CDC guidelines restaurants are to encourage social distancing. We told her that we had been at the table for a while already and that we didnt want anyone else that we didnt know in our table. She didnt care and brought the people over and sat them down. They obviously dont care about peoples health and think about making money only. Unacceptable.

I went with my date for Valentines and it was GREAT! They have good specials throughout the week, the food is delicious and the drinks are excellent! I want to go back!

Hospitality is terrible, you sit somewhere comfortably and move you without asking...bouncers getting drunk and high in the restrooms.. food is terrible...some waitresses are attentive while others do not acknowledge you even when the place is half empty.

They moved me from a table to the bar because the owner wanted to sit at the table. fyi after paying a cover ch arge for fights on pay per view.👎

Walked in with my friend & was very sketchy from the start! We weren’t guided in but we sat anywhere. There was no waiter who attended us. We sat there waiting and waiting. We ended up leaving because the vibes were just negative & we felt uncomfortable.

Liked the place family atmosphere, all ages there, over 21. Didnt have food there, just drinks and dancing.

A little disappointed at this bar. So I went because UFC website stated they were going to be showing the fight. Upon arrival, there was a cover charge, which I thought fine it’s a payperview. I even asked the guy charging, is the cover charge for UFC, he said yes.As I’m walking in, all the TV’s are showing the football game. I don’t have an issue with that, but if a bar promotes a UFC fight and I pay cover charge for it, I assume that’s what they will be showing.No, instead they had 2 tvs showing ufc, the other 15 showing the football game. Couldn’t even hear the fight because of all the other tvs showing a football game. Next time UFC website shouldn’t add them to their list. Just go to another bar, you will be happy you did.

Drinks are good and reasonable prices but the service and food are not so good. Plus, its so hot. No air conditioning just some fans blowing hot air at you. If your looking just to drink and dont care about being hot this is the place for you, not me.

The atmosphere was fun. DJ mixed all kinds of music. Drinks are around $12 $14. They are okay. Staff was very friendly.

I have a great time dancing here. They have two different rooms for dancing. One plays latin and the other plays hip hop. I havent been here during the day.

I Reserved a table a day before for 15 people when I arrived I was told no table was reserved. They are not very organized. We will be celebrating our birthdays somewhere else from now on.

Love this bar the music is always great weather youre there on a Tuesday night for the hip-hop or Sunday for the banda its a pleasure to go there. Only complaint is that it gets hot quick because of all the people that are there.

Tried to to set up a party , called 5 times got voicemail. No call back. Local competitor answered the phone was happy to accommodate.

They have two dance floors, they play variety of music. Dancer floors are a good size, drinks arent too pricey bartenders and waitresses are friendly the atmosphere is calm and energetic.

Drinks were not good, the music is controlled by people that buy credits to play the songs, no one was dancing and it was just not a good vibe. I want to say I would give it another try, but maybe not.

Cool people that work there. when we went they were having some kind of promotional instagram sign up thing so didnt care for it cuz had to pay $10 to get in if u dont have instagram sooooooo stupid but sat night sucked Spanish music only and other dance floor was closed

Iguanas has now been remodeled. Looks great and clean. Bathrooms need a tiny bit of work. I heard they got a Cool Cowboys Fan Club there.

To be quite honest, the drinks were reasonably priced and the nachos were great. Maybe I was drunk at the time but it worked out. :p

My woman and I drove from Riverside and was totally worth the drive..

The remodel of Iguanas is fantastic the staff is friendly food is good. Great spot to catch a game or UFC/Boxing with all the tvs in thisbplace and a big projector screen.

Its always packed they remodeled last year looks better 2 rooms of dancing so all types of girls as well

Nothing special, good for a beer or two, but thats it. Management should try to keep people out from coming in and trying to sell you things while having dinner and drinks. Not cool!!!!!

Pretty fun spot despite what people say. The beers are cheap and the dance floor gets popping. What else do you expect from a bar?

Watching the Dodgers game during playoffs and randomly the game is off on all tvs on bottom of the 5th. Missed the 3 runs the Dodgers scored, SMH.
