I went to see Ciara Owen to have highlights done and a haircut a couple weeks ago. My hair had old color on it and was a total disaster. She gave me an out of this world makeover! My new cut and color are absolutely spectacular! Im so happy to find such a talented hairdresser locally. Shes really good. I recommend her highly to anyone looking to get their hair done!! I feel fantastic in my new do!Update 10/31/23 I’m still going to Ciara and still love my hair! I just posted a video of it this week and thought I’d share.

FOLLOW UP REVIEW: we went in a week and a half later to get a Brazilian Blowout done for our girl. She was wanting to defrizz her hair, and that’s exactly what it did. She didn’t loose any volume and at first she was nervous that she might loose her natural curl, but Janae assured her of the process and we are both in love with the results!

I came in for a cut & color with highlights after a long time with no hair services during the pandemic. Janee fixed everything and had me feeling great about my hair again. She does a lovely job and is very friendly and kind. I recommend J Ryan wholeheartedly!

Tried this salon first time, did not have good outcome, went back next day to have haircut fixed, but the original stylist was not there. They assigned me new stylist, Kasey, and I finally found the hairdresser I’ve been looking for since moving to this area 3yrs ago. I have tried other salons, all with disappointing results, but Kasey is my girl. The best cut I’ve had in years. She took her time, listened to my concerns as I have curly hair, and did an AMAZING job. Absolutely the best. And I am a licensed hairdresser, so I know what I’m talking about.You won’t be sorry, I am now a steady customer who trusts her services.

Tami was the only person to listen to what I wanted and executed it flawlessly! My new go to hair salon! She gave great tips on upkeep for my new hair, Im returning later for some color. Thank you! The clothes are really trendy. Check them out!

I go to Holly and she is Fantastic!!! You just describe what you want or show her a picture and she does it!!! She is Magical!!! I also have my eyebrows tinted and waxed by Denise and it is Wonderful too. Colors are great it matches my hair.This shop you Must go to. You will not be disappointed!!!

This salon has it all! I have been going to Janee for 20 years. All the employees are experts in what they do. They make you feel right at home and you walk away feeling more confident and beautiful! They carry high quality clothing, shoes and accessories as well. Highly recommend!

I came in for a Balayage and Haircut with Janee and am more than satisfied. She listened to exactly what I wanted, and I couldnt be happier. She did a treatment on me as well and my hair feels so healthy. I will definitely be coming back and recommending her. LOVE J. Ryan for so many reason! They have AMAZING stylists that keep my hair up with the latest trends while keeping it healthy. They also have the BEST clothes! They carry a wide variety from lounge, to casual to formal… like this beautiful sequin dress! I never leave here empty handed and always have the best service.

Janee (the owner) is the BEST!!! Professional. Warm hearted. Patient. Talented. Affordable.Id shaved my head six months ago and was missing highlights/color during the grow out phase. But also scared to color my newly natural baby hair. Janee was so patient with me. She turned my initial appointment into a consult because she wanted to get it just right. We spent about 30 minutes that day discussing what I had in mind and looking at my pictures.She then got me in the next day for 2.5 hour appointment. Giving us plenty of time to get the highlights, olaplaex, and glaze just right.I walked out of J. Ryan Salon smiling and stoked about the changes.I can see why her salon was voted best in Port Angeles. Janee definitely could charge twice what shes charging. Super talented.
