Great little dive bar in a small town outside of Olympic Nation Park. I got the steak and fries and the Greek pizza. Both were phenomenal! The beer was cold and was served in a chilled glass. They seem to have events most nights and they did open mic comedy on the Monday that I was there. Definitely recommend!

Saw some good reviews about the food so decided to try it. My group of 4 walked in at about 7pm on a Sunday & the bartender watched us walk in, didn’t greet us or anything. We sat in a dark corner waiting for a waiter/server for about 10 minutes and nobody came. During that time we watched the bartender clean other tables, greet other guests, and serve food out. Eventually went to another place to eatTerrible atmosphere and “service.”

When I went, Bar N9NE had an easy going soft environment to karaoke the night away. I had no issues getting a turn, and with the pool tables in the back, I could move around a bit, which is good for my anxiety.Overall, helpful staff, Friendly patrons, and an experienced karaoke conductor. Oh the wings were bomb, I had honey mustard...Oh, and I dont actually drink alcohol, and still had a good time... Thanks Bar N9NE!

Came in on over this past weekend. A lot of places were closed because everywhere else closed around 8 but this place is open until 2a.Came in, first thing we saw they had a somewhat weird sign that says something to the effect of “smiles are free” which is whatever. I didn’t get it.Sat at a table with my partner for a few minutes, tall guy with longish hair walked past us a few times but actively adverted his gaze to avoid eye contact. There were about 4 other tables of people who were actively being helped / had food and drink. Saw one table get nachos and instantly thought those looked great. Sat at the table for a few more minutes and just thought maybe it was a dead table and we shouldn’t have been sitting there.Went up to the bar and sat. The same guy was at the register now seemingly counting money over and over refusing to completely turn around and even say hello. There was a blonde woman just standing off to the side but didn’t bother to greet us. I thought eventually one of them would help us but that didn’t Happen. 3 bros and a local woman came in and walked up to an ambiguous area that apparently was for ordering. My Wife then got up to now stand in line and order us some food and beer. When she walked up the blonde woman said “watcha want” which sure that’s fine with the lack of context that’s we’ve been in this place for 10 minutes and hadn’t gotten any sort of acknowledgment. We ask for Nachos and she immediately informed us that they were out and again sure it happens but pretty irritating when we just saw a table get nachos.Ordered their wings and fried green beans and they were on point. Like very solid bar food. Smashed all of that food. It all looked great and tasted great. Cannot recommend those two items enough.The last thing I want to say about this place is don’t go on Mondays. It’s an Open Mic night which just thought it was going to be music but it was Comedy and the 2 incels that manned the mic for the hour and a half we were there need to practice in front of a mirror before a live crowd. Aside from some chuckles from inside jokes, not a single laugh, and when they tried to do crowd work and called on some people they thought were “outsiders” it ended up being people that were actually locals. It was the peak of my personal experience to witness that embarrassing realization that they couldn’t even tell the difference between locals and tourist.If the Chef is the owner, fire those other 2, don’t let that former employee on the mic anymore, and actually make that bar pop off, your food is fantastic and has no business being gate kept by bad service and atmosphere.

Always a good time. The DJ is decent with the music. I do wish there was more bathrooms and the bartenders were a little more consistent with how the drinks are made. All in all, if I go to a bar, itll most likely be Bar N9ne

They dutifully call themselves a dive bar, and when you walk in, thats the vibe (the 3 on atmosphere, but its a fun 5 too),. BUT... the food rocks, the staff is wonderful, not surlly, and the other customers are there for a quiet drink or happy to chat. Havent caught the later night yet, but they have something going on most nights. Weve tried about 1/3 of the menu, and no misses yet. The wings are great, and you better have napkins for any burger.

New Karaoke host Eric is wonderful. Ill be giving this place a second chance.Edit - Sundays with Eric are fantabulous !! This young man is keeping the mics hot - respecting singers time- and killing it. Come sing for us - too him well and eat the yummy food.

It was a cool stop, wasnt my vibe with the music, but that doesnt mean it wont be for you. There was a good amount of seats early on. And everyone was very kind. The food was good, we got the sweet jerk burger and the special burger. The Sweet jerk was very fill of jalapeños and spicy 😋

This place was really great - as an out of towner most places there were either shut down, had no food options or the wait to get in was too long. I was immediately welcomed and served my drink and the food came out in less than 20 minutes! This appetizer is meant for more than two people- but its delicious!

After a late day of hiking we really needed a cheeseburger. There was another place in town that also had high reviews, but they were packed. We did some Google reviews, and this place was just two blocks away from the original one we had picked .This is a really small bar, and there is absolutely nothing fancy about it. It is home base for the locals, priced for the locals, and that is what it makes it great to me.Order at the bar, have something simple, dont expect decor, fluff, or fancy clothes. But, you sure will get a delicious cheeseburger, kindness and a smile.Leave a nice tourist tip, because they all actually need the extra love from tourists( who often pick the fancier place up the street). Who are traveling in a little bit more down to home, you will like the price, a hand-patty, fresh, and made to order.

Excellent home town bar where friends are always there to be made, the drinks are just strong enough & youll be treated like family.

Its a fun little bar. Pool table in the back room. Good dj, music keeps the dance floor poppin! Bar tenders are fast and friendly, and the service is great. Its always fun to go there, and there is never drama at this bar, which is great considering people are drinking. Fun and chill. Never ordered food, didnt even realize they sold food here, so I cant comment on the food.

Fish and chips! Cod! Very good. $21 with really good IPA.

Im not into dive bars, but this one has really good gyro sandwiches, gyro fries, and OMG, our new fave, gyro PIZZA! Its actually really good! Also, Im not a wings fan at all, but apparently, wings are a THING, and this place often has a long and winding line on wing night. My friends love them. And theyve shopped around. I cant vouch for the other items on the menu, but I am betting that they are just as good. Bon Appétit!

Great kinda divey bar to hang out in. I like the room in the back with the pool table. Great chill area for a group. Gets loud on music nights (karaoke, open mic, DJ). Long wait time when we picked up wings (45ish minutes), but great service and great wings. We got buffalo and jerk chicken.

Haley was great!! Much better service and great atmosphere!! I have seen the UPS and downs of this bar for years. Great work on your current staff!!

I love this bar, it’s my go to!However a bad sting i left with tonight as i requested the marine corps hymn for veterans days and the wacky DJ refused to play it. Disappointed. But however this bar is still my favorite… The DJ, not so much

A bit more of a party bar. Not crazy or anything but theres karaoke, pool tables, and a dance area. Didnt get any food but plenty of people ordered and gave it praises so try it out. Lots of locals young and old come through and honestly theyre all great company to drink with. Great times had there so far.

Stopped in for a late dinner and a drink. The atmosphere was good. The food was really good. I got a burger and my date had the tacos. The bartender was very friendly, she took my order and the food came out pretty quickly. They have a dance floor and plenty of seating.

World class dive bar, fun events every single night of the week ranging from Trivia (Tues) to Karaoke (Sun and W) to open mice (Mon) and DJs (Th-Sat). Absolutely outstanding food and the friendliest staff in town. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoyed Cheers.

Not too happy. Staff failed to inform us that their kitchen was backed up pretty bad. Weve driven several hundred miles today and hiked several hours for this vacation. We thought we would be having dinner right around the time we got here. Instead we had to wait 2 hours for our food to arrive, and for reasons unknown other patrons were receiving their meals before us, though they had arrived 30 minutes and 60 minutes after us (and had ordered the same thing we did).We wouldve gone elsewhere to get our meal in a timely manner; flavor was good, but we will not be coming back to this establishment.

This establishment has 5 star food. atmosphere was alright casual, easy going, a bit too much at times, but there was a nice quaint pool table in the back, careful the balls stick in the back left, but the BALLS ROLL NICE!The food was top tier, and just for this you gotta appreciate this place.because to go in a bar and get not only food, but good food, is an extremely rare case. Love the food, and hey they got mack n jacks so what more can you ask for really? thank you chef from bar9, we love you mate!

Terrible service and long wait times for food. We were excited to eat here because of the menu, but poor time management made us get out food to go. We waited an hour and a half for our 4 meals to arrive. Our kids were wondering when their food would come. It was awful. Dont come here for food. I will say the drinks were good, but waited until staff finished their long conversations to take our orders. Wont be coming back, unfortunately.

Absolutely horrific service. My friend and I had been hiking all day and were hungry. We waited almost an hour and a half for our food, being given no warning of the long wait time, only to receive fish tacos in place of veggie tacos. My friend is vegetarian and will get sick if she eats fish/meat. Upon realizing the mishap, my friend took the tacos to the bartender who just said oh and did not apologize or offer a new order. My friend had to ask for something different on the menu and was told it would take 30 minutes for the nachos.It took far more than 30 minutes and my friend and I kept having to go and check in on the order. No apology from the bartender or other staff members was ever given. Dont waste your time here.

Terrible experience. Will never return. EXCEPTIONALLY poor service from start to finish- female bartender in a sunflower sun dress barely acknowledged us at the beginning, told us 2 of 3 items we ordered (pizza, cider) were out AFTER we tried to order them. Food then took 50+ minutes to receive (this included 2 different trips to check-in with the bartender on food status, with no apologies by the bartender) and then the tacos were made incorrectly (something Im allergic to and specifically said I cant eat). When I told her I still need the correct tacos she told me theyre now out of those tacos and nachos would take 30 MORE minutes despite this all being her error. In the end the nachos took 40+ MORE minutes (ontop of the 50 minutes for the initial tacos). Eventually a random friendly man who was playing pool came over and apologized on the behalf of the bar/bartender, but I dont even think he works there. He comped our entire tab, which was very thoughtful. The female bartender never really apologized (just a brief oh and shrug when I kept communicating various issues like something Im allergic to) and also kept me waiting a long time when I asked for my card back at the end.

Local bar with a good selection of beverages. I even found a tasty non alcoholic beer that was the best I have ever had! We chose to order the burger and fries as that was the special of the day. Home style, juicy burgers! We had ours with bacon and cheese and were not disappointed!

Nice little place, good food and great beer. After a long day of hiking, there weren’t too many choices for dinner. This was one of the few restaurants open after 8pm. Wasn’t very sure when we first entered, but the beer and food made up forIt. The Tuesday Trivia night was an added bonus. My teenagers also enjoyed the place.

My GF was visiting last weekend for her Bd so I took her here last Saturday night. The bartender acknowledged us (tall dark haired girl with tattoos) but she never got our drinks. We waited 20 minutes but instead severed everyone else that came in, terrible bartender. Onion rings are good though

Way better food than one might suspect. The nachos were done RIGHT! No scrimping on ingredients! We had the Greek pizza. We had never had the Detroit style buttered crust before, and it was very good! It was a Sunday, so there was an interesting and motley crew doing karaoke. Not pretentious, comfortable hangout.

Great place for live music, trivia night, and food/beer on tap. They also have the local brews. We had the local Seattle cider and it was great. Their wings and tacos are excellent. I was pleasantly surprised! Definitely a go to!

This place was awesome. Super friendly, helpful staff. There was someone being trained but had a great attitude and was doing a great job.Diverse crowd, awesome music. We ordered three food items - all reasonably priced and delicious. This is the place to be in Port Angeles.

Went to trivia night for the first time in 3 years and it was awesome! Ordered some fries and could not believe how delicious they were. I would absolutely go back just to have them.

Fun and casual with great food. Try the Guinness Steamers. Monday night open night fun night with $5 steak burgers with fries!

Very relaxed and fun environment. The service was very good and quick. I ordered quite a few tacos from their kitchen and while it took a little longer than I would have liked they were exceptionally delicious. Ultimately they get five stars for the food not necessarilly the bar aspect.

Ok, I will admit we stumbled in when our original dinner plans didnt work out, however it was a great thing we did.When everywhere else was at capacity with an hour wait, this place was accommodating and the bartender was able to get me a beer and mouth watering burger (with mushrooms and pesto aoli) faster than anywhere else. Coming back from a 15 mile hike and absolutely famished, Bar N9NE delivered on what my soul needed.Def recommend 👌

I had fun there and it felt pretty open. Food was good, beer selection, was decent, and they have a well balanced honey mustard. I deducted points because later in the night after leaving a friend noticed I smelled like I cooked the food you know what I mean fry cooks get a distinct smell after a shift and I shouldnt have been able to absorb that smell from outside the kitchen.

Stopped here for dinner after hike as this is one of the few places which is open late night on Sunday. We had beer and pizza. Pizza was awesome and karaoke night was not bad either ☺️We will definitely come back whenever we are in town

Traveling from Minnesota. Stopped in at the Next Door Gastropub for food. They told us they weren’t taking any more orders. After some more Google searching I found this place. The burgers here are awesome. I highly recommend the Wrangler burger.

Bar is quite large and has an extra room with the pool table it also has large tvs a dance floor A DJ A drop down screen and many events during the week. I was on a weekend night and it was quite a week There is parking outside close and there is seating inside and outside We did not see food but we were there for drinks and they came quickly and the bartener was kind

Id leave a zero cus they took an hour and a half to make some wings on wing Wednesday. I asked them close my tab and cancel the wings if they weren’t made yet and they said it was coming in a bit., half an hour later i go to close my tab again and they said it just made it in the fryer. Terrible service.

What is your time worth? $9 mouthful Monday, or go to bed on empty stomach? Waited 1.5 hours for food that never arrived. Maybe they couldn’t get the green beans to their ideal crunch level…. At least we got free beers out of it - thanks.

The music is good. People actually like to dance. Hard to get a requested song played though. Food is yum but there is one bartender who Im always disappointed to see on weekends, his drinks are terrible and I try not to order from him.

My girlfriend and I stopped in here on a Friday. It was early so not all that busy. Sat at the bar for 20+ minutes waiting to order drinks. Finally told bartender we had been there for over 20 minutes and nobody has taken our order. Bartender with a snide ton says you havent been waiting no 20 minutes. Guy was a punk!! Found out later he was either the owner or manager. Wont go back and wouldnt recommend this scuz hole to anyone.

Nine 9! First and foremost, I have to say the staff here keep bringing me back. Then, the other patrons have become friends. I come here to drink my calories in the evening, but I recently arrived earlier and ordered a bunless burger that was super tasty beef and the salad was without croutons... perfect!!I was so hungry I forgot to photo the meal, but the plating was on point as well. 💯

Worst customer service tonight. Doing projects and talking to friends higher priority than the customers in line. Asked for flats and denied me until cook said yes..and only gave me 3 quarters of my beer when pouring. She needs to go. 06 22 22.

Bar N9ne is a great place to be at Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. I think its all ages until 9pm if my memory serves me right. I recommend going on Thursday night if youre a steak lover. They have a steak special for about $5. You can get whiskey and a steak for under $10! What else is better than that?! Great nachos too, you get a huge plate for $8. Drinks are regularly priced for a small town bar. Good place to drink, eat and shoot some billiards!

Food was awful. Cant comment on the quality of drinks served since we didnt have any. The nachos looked like they were bought from Walmart and microwaved in house. The oysters were old and stank like beer. Terrible experience. Also, my husband had diarrhea the night of the meal...wish we hadnt wasted our money or time here.

Had a really good burger and margarita, but the bartender had a bit of an attitude.

Bean tocos were to my liking. It took awhile because they double my order. They graciously gave the order we didnt order for free. New special or new personnel? It was quite , Homey atmosphere and old town feel to it. My friend loved the pork tocos. Tasty he said.

Had the BLT on the pretzel bun all the bacon was totally overcooked and burned, would have sent it back if it hadnt taken an hour and a half to get our order. This use to be one of my favorite places to eat, not now it is sad how far down hill this place has gone...

What an exceptionally friendly, welcoming staff that made me feel like I had been a patron of theirs for years. Great food and drinks with a very comfortable atmosphere. While I just recently moved to the area, I enjoyed my first experience there soo much, this is the only bar that I will be patronizing. . I would absolutely recommend this establishment to anyone.

A quaint but not too small of a bar, and my bartender that evening was Macy (Macie?) who was super nice and helpful! Great prices, too! I had 3 IPAs, (and the chefs special for the day, which was a sloppy jordan, sooo freakin good) all for a total of 25 bucks! Come on, right! Awesome.

Great deals, great prices, great food. Only business in Port Angeles that I visit weekly. Bartenders are always hard working and friendly!

Stopped here on the way to Olympic because I love tasting local beer and food. Service was worst Ive ever had and bartender overcharged us $20 more than the price she originally stated. Any other establishment would adjust their mistake but she processed the payment willingly knowing it was theft. I will make sure to return to Barhop Brewing or station 51 next time as the service, food, and beer is far superior, plus it doesnt require a call to your bank afterwards

We came on karaoke night pleasant surprise decent singers. My Porter was perfect, my wife had a soda. I enjoyed the best burger Ive had on the peninsula

Used to be the best bar in town, but then all the other ones remodeled. Bar N9ne has not kept up. Its a total dive. The trivia nights can be okay, and their steak dinner is surprisingly not bad. But unless youre looking for a dive bar, there are better options in town. Try the metta room, or station 51.

Love to come out on a slow night... staff is 10x more attentive...... not just at this bar.. but most places I go have a drink.. other places.. even if its busy I get acknowledged... that gesture will keepe coming.... couple of times at this bar when it was busy... bartender walked by me like 5 times... ... and I get that they get busy... which is good business.. but just let your clients know you have noticed them... even if you come back 10 min later...

Pictures and rating show a much better picture than the real deal. I bet this could be a fun place and is a more local hangout. More of a bar and entertainment location that happens to service food than a true restaurant. Reasonable prices but a louder atmosphere for families going to dinner etc

Great local spot in Port Angeles! My brother and I went there for the Wednesday wing $0.25 wing deal. Definitely a local spot that caters to locals, but is friendly to visitors. I’d go back.

Definitely reminds my of a whole in the wall bar from my hometown. Its a feeling from home but also not perfect. Service was great, food was great, music was great and my husband and I even played pool!

Came here on a Monday early evening. Place was empty but staff was GREAT. Bar food was above average. Pizza was extremely cheesy. Would definitely visit again.

Great bar! Service was a little slow. But it was the only thing open on a Monday for some reason.

Fun dive bar. Cheap drinks, good bar food, usually good music and a 75¢ pool table. Dont have high expectations for the building, bathrooms, and fellow patrons.

Hey at 2 am and they serve food thats a plus, the late night menu was pretty grim but passable; what was disappointing was the service. I just hate that feeling that you are a major inconvenience in the staffs day.

Its got a bit of an edge. At the moment, they dont have the cook staff to fix everything on the menu...But somehow, I liked this place! (Could have been the martinni)

Walked in the atmosphere didnt seem to welcoming. Seems like the place has its set of folks and people not within that social group just get starred at.

I never leave reviews and typically enjoy dive bars, but the Service was really bad. Bar was completely untended for maybe half of the 2 hours timeframe there. Need to give John Taffer a call. SHUT IT DOWN.

Great food, atmosphere can be hit or miss. Wish they would answer the phone sometimes for take out orders. Especially when it appears to be dead on a Tuesday.

Pretty chill, and divey. But, who garnishes their tomato soup with bacon? I personally am not complaining, but my veg friend wasnt stoked about it.

I went there on Wednesdays which is karaoke night and wing night surprisingly the vibe was very cool decent street parking and the bartender was friendly a couple of my wings were a little cold which I thought was weird because they were fresh but otherwise it was okay

Stu and Zack are amazing bartenders and really make your visit enjoyable! Along with Benji and the whole crew! Only bar I really go to and feel confortable!!

Don’t ever call and try to make a to go order!! They never answer their phone and are rude as hell if you come in and want to take out.

Place was a dump and not inviting. I felt like I was disrupting the bartenders too long of a conversation with a coworker to get any service. One drink done, wont be back.

I dont know what I expected, but the service was horrible. Took forever to get the food and it came out wrong plus uncooked pizza.

Good dive bar aside from the karaoke and too narrow path behind the bar.

Bar is under new management. No service, and bar no longer reflects their website. This is the diviest of dive bar, avoid at all costs.
