Luxe Massage

We went to Portland for our anniversary and decided to book a last-minute massage. After trying several places, we found Luxe and texted the number listed online to check availability, as we were booking less than 48 hours in advance. They had only one available time, which was different from what we wanted, but we agreed to it and paid the deposit.Later, we received a call saying that the second therapist had overbooked, and they would need to cancel and refund our couples massage. After a few hours without a refund, I messaged them again. They called back to say they could accommodate us after all, but at a different time, so we agreed to the new time.We arrived 10 minutes early, as requested. However, one therapist showed up just a minute before the appointment without a key, and the second therapist arrived five minutes later to let us in. The location was new and not fully set up—everything that would typically be on the walls was still on the ground, and the massage tables were positioned on opposite ends of the room. The environment felt awkward and rushed, with loud street noise from the busy neighborhood. Despite these issues, the therapists did an excellent job with the massage itself. Definately not the luxurious romantic massage portrayed on their website.

My daughter had a wonderful experience with Chelsea. Her expertise relieved the stress the her body feels when battered from full contact sports. Chelsea is professional, responds to text quickly and is helpful with last minute needs and a somewhat inflexible schedule.

This was my husband and my second time visiting luxe massage, and it is quickly becoming our favorite anniversary tradition. Thank you Nina and Christine!Everyone we have worked with has been so kind and knowledgeable. I was instantly put at ease, and loved getting to experience hot stone, cupping and stretching in this visit! I can feel the tension gone in my neck. Highly recommend.

Stephanie took great care to communicate before the appointment and made sure we were comfortable during the appointment. I was impressed with the entire process and of course the massage was outstanding! We will be back the next time we are in town.

This was our second time booking with Luxe Massage & Spa! Highly recommend. We tried a few new services this time including cupping and hot stone. We went for a couples massage and I got the hot stone option with Nina which was so relaxing! She communicated well about what to expect and checked in with me about pressure and temperature to ensure I was comfortable. The vibe of the place is really pretty and relaxing!

I had a massage with Stephanie! Stephanie was an amazing massage therapist that specializes in trauma informed care. You always know where she is in the room making it very comfortable! She offers open communication, so it is easy to communicate if the pressure to too harsh or too little! I can’t wait to see Stephanie again!I did a 110 minute massage with the lavender aroma therapy and I wouldn’t have it any other way! THANK YOU STEPHANIE!

Chelsea at Luxe Massage is the best practitioner I have ever gone to for a massage. I have been stressed with finals and life and had knots in my neck and back and Chelsea got them out and brought relaxation back to my life. I waited too long to get a massage and will definitely be a regular. I can’t recommend her and this business enough.

This was the first couples massage my wife and I had. Let me tell you, we BOTH enjoyed every minute of it. I had the honor to get massaged by Lacey. She was fantastic Id recommend her to anyone. My wife had Nina. They were both very professional and very communicative with us. Making sure we were ALWAYS comfortable, whether it be with the type of oil used, the pressure, ect.The room we were in made you feel very calm and inviting. Jesse was wonderful!! I left with my shoulders twice as low as when I came in. He really took care of my problem areas, keeping it firm and at the same time really relaxing.Great massage!!

This was my first visit and it was excellent! Nina was very skilled and helped with my very tight shoulders and upper back. It was customized to exactly what I needed for my stressed muscles. The add on’s were a great addition. I will be back!

To start from the beginning its a bit odd you become stuck outside the door on top of the stairs not knowing if it will open or not being there is no signage to say other wise and it was never cominicated otherwise on the emails when my wife made the reservation. I thought my massage over all was good as well as my wife. My one complaint would be the male masseuse was always on a roll around stool so just as you begin to relax to the massage and music he would roll around on hard wood flooring with his stool to adjust while he gave the massage and it took away from the relaxation to me.

I’ve gotten several massages from Chelsea now. She’s attentive, respectful and thorough in her process. I love the optional aromatherapy and essential oils as well!

Chelsea owner is so unprofessional. She touched my private parts personally and also flirted with my boyfriend. I don’t appreciate her approach; this business needs to shut down. Very much disappointed. Also, she has communicated and texted my boyfriends number( I have the screenshots). I would run away from this place.

Shared a couples massage with my partner after not being massaged for about 10 years. Nina and Chelsea were incredible and were planning on getting another massage soon!

Wanted to give them (the owner) an opportunity to respond to my email I sent nearly a month ago before leaving a review but I was never even given a single thought.Wish I could give zero stars. The service is terrible. I got gifted a couples massage for this place. Important to note their “front desk” staff does NOT even work front desk here. They go to open the door of the room they rent in a home shared space, then LEAVE. They don’t even know who is working that day or who should be in. They can’t give you any single answer. Not even if the owner can get back to you for a refund. Owner is lacking as they didn’t even give a proper response to my complaint I sent via email for the NO SHOW they clearly were at fault for. I waited there for 30+ minutes only to be let in by a DIFFERENT business massage therapist. I called the front desk staff who thought since I was let in that I should’ve clearly already been helped. They didn’t even know who was supposed to be there to help us. Didn’t apologize. Clearly didn’t care about us being stood up as we drove all the way over here.Wasted my time, wasted my friends money for gifting us a “luxury couples massage” that is clearly just hosted in a home with no organization. Would save your money and sanity on rescheduling/refunds if I were you. When we were at first calling to reattempt to reschedule THEIR mistake, they made it nearly impossible saying all their staff wouldn’t be available that day or that time.The funny thing is I got TEXTED an appointment reminder… did the staff not get notified they had a client? Hm.

My partner and I have been several times with each reservation being the Luxe for Lovers. Everybody weve met have all been so welcoming and kind!This past visit with Stephanie and Nina, we tried the cupping add-on, and it felt amazing.The cup was able to work the tension simultaneously with the masseuse working on a different area!

My husband and I are here for a conference and our hotel bed left us both in severe pain. We were able to book a couples massage with Nina and Tae on the same day on their website. We both feel like brand new people. Perfect amount of pressure and we added in hot stones, cupping, and stretching. We also had hot towels and essential oils. Absolutely amazing! If youre considering it, go for it!

My wife and I booked a couples massage while visiting Portland to unwind after our flight. We were more than satisfied. Stephanie was my masseuse and the only complaint is that she is not local to me lol.Finally found a good masseuse and they are a 2 hr flight away. Tyvm for helping my aching body feel better.

From the first interaction, Chelsea was so awesome. She made booking easy and painless. We decided on the Luxe for Lovers 80 minute session. Let me tell you, it was so amazing. Levi was my therapist. Oh man, hes got the touch. Not only did he provide a great session, he was very funny too. Definitely made my lady and I feel very comfortable. He also sent me on my way with some tips on how to keep my shoulders from continuing to experience regular pain. This showed not only professionalism, but a genuine care and concern for his clients. My fiance worked with Nina. She was so impressed shes going to be leaving her own review. Do yourself a favor and book a session now. You deserve it and you will not be disappointed! Oh yeah, the wine was freaking delicious too!

I’ve had several great massages here, most recently with Levi. He asked up front about my preferences and checked in throughout to make sure I was enjoying the level of pressure, and he did exactly what I asked for. He is clearly a skilled therapist and gave me suggestions following the session for stretches and habits that would help with my specific issues. He was friendly and made me feel comfortable and well taken care of so I would definitely schedule with him again. Chelsea has always been wonderful to work with when it comes to scheduling, thoughtful about accommodating my needs, and follows up after. I love the space, decor, and location and highly recommend it for all of these reasons!

This was my go-to spot, it won’t be anymore. Truly did not like the customer service, & keeping my partner in a room while waiting for me (he could’ve just signed, since I wasn’t even asked for my ID when I showed up) did not seem right. Technology can be an inconvenience, still not okay just to keep him in a room.

Had a couples massage with Steph and Tae over new years eve. They were great, talented, and excellent stewards that led us to relaxation. We had a 50 minute massage and honestly wish we had done the 80 or two hour option when we were done. They were patient, laid out options, had great communication, and were overall a pleasure to have. Will be going back.

Hands down the best spa experiences Ive had in Portland and I’ve had several massages around town but Luxe Massage & Spa was A+ from the start to finish. I sent a text to inquire about a same day 80 min massage and received a quick and pleasant response back via text from Chelsea who squeezed me in for a much needed massage on short notice. Also HUGE THANKS to Nina who stayed late to accommodate my schedule and more importantly she is AMAZING. She was very professional and knew what type of massage techniques I would benefit from without me having to tell her much. You definitely won’t get a “cookie cutter” massage with Nina so I highly recommend Luxe Massage & Spa for their excellent customer service and massage services

Great place to relax and forget about your day. I have been coming to Luxe Massage for almost 2 years now. All the sessions have been relaxing and enjoyable. Chelsea does great massages, Stephanie who was available for my last session also did an amazing job. They are professional and super friendly.

Tae was amazing. He was gentle yet very effective. He listened to my concerns and gave me some great tips for after care. I highly recommend Lux tan. Not only is the staff kind and knowledgeable the atmosphere is calming and beautiful.

My massage was with Jon. I asked for Deep tissue and he met my expectations and took them further. Its hard to go to anyone else for a massage now since his is that AMAZING. He arrived on time, was a joy to talk to, understood what I was looking for and was extremely professional. I will be booking again, and again, and again.Also, Chelsea who helped arrange the massage, is as sweet as can be and tried her hardest to get me a massage in such a short time. Our communication was via text, and she responded fairly quickly. Both Jon and her are a dream team. Highly recommend.

I had my first massage last week with Chelsea. I was very impressed by the cleanliness and sterility of the clinic. She obviously takes the safety precautions of COVID very serious. I went here in the middle of my finals week and I’m so glad I did! If you go here ask for Chelsea, she does a great job of communicating with you before and during your massage about pressure and areas of focus. My neck and shoulders really needed some attention and she has them feeling almost completely back to tension free (it’s been a while since my last massage). I’m definitely coming back!

Me and my boyfriend went in for a couples massage we had Alex and Carrie, I had Carrie and she was AMAZING! She communicated with me about what she was doing and why. She was so professional and just awesome. I’m really glad we went to them. The room was beautiful, we were greeted with slippers and wine, beautiful music, candles, and a calming atmosphere. Her deep pressure was never painful - instead, her repetitive flow effortlessly unmasked layers of stress quickly. She was nurturing, careful, and genuine in her approach. This woman is a true gem, and finding therapists like her are a rarity! I felt heard. I felt seen. I cannot wait to visit her again!

I have seen Stephanie a couple times and just made an appointment for my third next month. A great massage from a very knowledgeable, positive and friendly (and incredibly attractive—can I say that?) young woman. She asked about specific areas of distress and focused on those bringing me welcome relief. I would HIGHLY recommend her!!

I’m the overall experience I received from Luxe Spa. The seamless booking process with Chelsea, to the lengths they went to accommodate the timeline in which I was available to come in, and the professional/expert level massage from Stephanie. I couldn’t recommend this place anymore.

I’ve never left a negative review but this was one of the most bizarre experiences I’ve had in terms of massages. I’ll start out by saying that the staff was incredibly kind and the space was very clean and inviting, so that was a plus. However the massage I received could best be described as random poking followed by a one directional rub with no kneading, stroking or any other technique (and not enough oil application so the one directional rub was quite dry and painful). I’m not sure if it was the persons first time giving a massage, but it was just…laughably bad. My partner who was with me for the couples massage says his massage was ok, so maybe this was a one-off experience or a brand new masseuse. Either way, it was too bizarre for us to return but with such a nice staff and space hopefully they are able to figure out the kinks for the future.

My experience with Luxe Massage has been nothing short of amazing. All of the massage therapists are highly skilled and really good at what they do. I need body work on a regular basis so it’s nice that there’s a massage therapist available when you’re in need. You can’t go wrong with anyone of them. They all have their unique strengths. And the space is gorgeous!

Absolutely amazing massage here by tae. Tae is an expert in body work and massage. They worked certain areas and you can tell it was not just a therapist going through the motions.The space is intimate cozy and warm. The owner was very accommodating pleasant to work with.Definitely will be booking another service.

Got another massage from Stephanie today and I hate it took me this long to do it. Definitely need it to be a regular thing! Great with finding the right pressure for me and changing it when needed for more tender areas! Definitely recommend!

I booked an 80 minute Luxe for Lovers treatment (ie a side-by-side couples massage) and it was fantastic! On arrival we were greeted with tea, and the couples room was clean, comfortable, and cozy, with some cute touches (Hersheys kisses!). Our LMTs were Miyae and Alex; I chose Alex as trigger point is one of their modalities and I was interested in trying that. It was my partners first professional massage and Miyae was well-suited for him. We chose hot stones as an add on, which was a lovely addition. (It was also fun to compare notes with my partner afterwards, as our LMTs used the stones a little differently.) Alex and Miyae were both attentive, intuitive, communicative, and professional. 100%—the massages themselves were INCREDIBLE, and as a whole, the experience was wonderful! Thanks again!

LUXE Massage and Spa was amazing! Chelsea responded quickly and was so sweet! She understood my work schedule and worked diligently to pair me with someone who could accommodate that! Jon the Massage therapist was VERY PROFESSIONAL and on time actually early lol! I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all having him in my home! He took his time to really work on my body to aid in its healing. He did some Reiki which was a PLUS, And much needed! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LUXE!

Company cancelled booking twice. After researching further, the issue appears to be although you can book via Classpass, their calendars do not line up, which results in scheduling mishaps, which is frustrating for potential customers.

Chelsea and her team put so much thought and consideration into the services they provide. From the fresh cut flowers, fresh linens, aromatherapy, wine, and super amazing new location (on 23rd I think) Luxe is the place to beeeee!

Terrible customer service, tried calling multiple times throughout the day to ask a few questions and they called and canceled our couples massage 21 minutes before! We traveled 2 hours for this!!! Highly recommend going somewhere else!
