Doing stretch sessions with Jamie is a fantastic experience. I never knew that stretch was something that I needed until I gave it a try. It’s been especially helpful since starting a physically demanding job. Jamie is careful, considerate and fun to work with!

I had my first facial at Massage Envy today, and it was an absolute delight thanks to Michelle! From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with kindness and warmth. Michelle took the time to truly understand my skin and my specific needs, tailoring the entire experience to ensure maximum relaxation and benefit. Her attention to detail and personalized approach made me feel incredibly pampered and cared for. I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, already planning to become a regular. I also want to give a shout out to Patricia, the manager, who ensures the entire team delivers exceptional service. Overall, my experience was top-notch, and I highly recommend Michelle and the team at Massage Envy for anyone seeking a truly indulgent spa experience.

Katherine is an amazing massage therapist and by far my favorite massage Envy therapist! She is so personable and is comfortable talking or just being silent if thats what the client prefers. She is able to give the most amazing pressure. She asks to see what pressure the client needs and meets their needs flawlessly. She is great with deep pressure or lighter pressure. She works equally well on all areas of the body. I have had a lot of massages in my life, and I cannot say enough good about Katherine. I recommend her without reservation. She is one of the best! My therapists name is Sara. Everything about my session was perfect. She gave me one of the best, most healing and helpful massages of my life. She really takes her time to learn and feel where you body is most in need. Ive been a member for about 20 years. Celisse hits all the notes for a good therapist! It seems she instinctively knows when talking is indicated and when silence is needed. She listens and addresses the use of massage for a truly invigorating and/or blissful massage.

Rooms way too hot! It 100 outside adjust the location to match our very rare hot day.Didn’t call me back u til 10’min into my appt I asked if I would get time back they said definitely once changes about 12 minutes of my 60 was gone. BUT they ended on time. When I mentioned it they just said sorry. That’s all.$140 for 46 mins in a hot room sucked.I liked my guy, but I didn’t feel refreshed at all after the massage as i usually do: very disappointed to start my bday that way.

Dennis is an amazing massage therapist. His pressure and technique were perfect. He was very personable and made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I look forward to future visits with him!

Riley gave me an ah-ma-zing facial. And she did not talk to me the whole time. She caught my vibe and went with it. I looked gorgeous afterwards and walked away completely chill and relaxed. Book with her you won’t regret it!

My 90 min massage was reduced to a 60 min massage for not very clear reasons. Receptionist was talking so quiet and fast it was hard to understand her. My massage therapist seemed like she didnt want to be there and gave a mediocre massage. They gave me a credit on my account but the experience was so weird I wont come back to use the credit or the rest of my gift card.

Javier was very professional. He made me feel comfortable and did a great job working on the areas of my shoulders and back that were tense from holding my baby.

Joe was very comfortable to talk to. It made the experience much more relaxing as he was able to work and talk to pass the time

If you offer, and I pay for a 60 minute massage, it should be 60 minutes, not 45 or 50 min. You should tell people to show up 10 minutes early if you are going to start 10 minutes after their appointment time.

Massage Envy has Member Appreciation Month which I took advantage of and got Sara to give me a sugar foot scrub which was heavenly!She’s a terrific massage therapist.

Far surpassed my expectations. She was so accurate in reading what I needed. Thank you ♥️🤩 I left feeling light and glowing.

My deep tissue massage with Rev was so helpful. I feel a lot better. Rev addressed my areas of focus and tied in helpful relief on other areas in a 60 min treatment. I will be back to this location.

Im originally from Seattle, Washington but relocated to Texas after graduating from college. I relocated back to the Northwest November of 2023 and was a skeptical about receiving care in a new state. I have been with Massage Envy I believe 2019/2020. I take my skin care and self-care quite serious. I was checking the reviews of other Massage Envy locations and I was not impressed but Im glad I didnt give up and I found this location. I would like to thank my new Masseuse Sean for being patient with me I wont like I was a little late because Im not use to timing the traffic in Portland. I still received a decent massage in a shorter time frame. Sean was professional and efficient. I receive deep tissue massages and Sean is currently from my knowledge the only masseuse who provides them. So if you require deep tissue he is your guy. Now to my esthetician/facialist Riley, oh my goodness she was amazing! So personable and we have a lot in common. Both Sean and Riley provided service that felt like an air or water bender; The Last Airbender vibes for sure. I felt so at ease and peace. I cant wait to return this month for both a massage and facial.

It is very good massage envy center. All the staffs are friendly & polite . It is very nice place.I was been there first time it was so comfortable massage envy.And Christine is very professionally physiotherapist.I recommend .

Cancelled my membership in September and had 1 credit to use within 60 days. They cancelled my appointment and the soonest I could get in apparently was after the 60 days. They waited to tell me the credit was gone on the day of my appointment when they called to confirm it. Explained the situation and they called their main office, however they still refused to honor it. Said had my appointment been a week after, they would have. I guess its my fault for not checking, but find it convenient that they didnt tell me when I booked it, but were happy to tell me the day of my appointment.I cancelled my membership because it took weeks to get an appointment with a particular therapist due to their lack of therapist. Poor customer service is why I will never go back.

Ive been getting massages for almost 2 decades and have been a member at massage envy for at least half of that. I tend to be picky about my services and just wanted to say that hands down Steven is phenomenal.Ive been seeing him for several years now for massage therapy and he always knows what to do! I always leave with a outstanding euphoria and sense of relaxation!

The staff here are always very lovely. The front desk folks are welcoming and efficient. I highly recommend seeing Rev for massage and Delores for skincare. I’ve seen them both several times and they’ve exceeded my expectations every time.

BUYER BEWARE of massage membership. I have 15 accrued massages because there are never openings to get in and every month another $85 gets charged to my account, its a vicious cycle. If you do get an appt they will most likely cancel on you same-day for a massage you have been waiting weeks for and planned the day around (which is why Im at 15 accrued hours) with no repercussions to them but if the customer cancels same-day then you are charged $75 on top of the $85 monthly fee.I have tried working with them for months to get a satisfactory resolution but the local and regional staff remain indifferent. Please dont take my word for it, look into the multiple class action lawsuits and BBB reports that I wish I had done prior to signing up for the membership.

Had a great first visit with Keymaira this week - grateful she could fit me in, becauae shes fantastic and I will definitely see her again! I prefer medium pressure but have a few spots where I get spasms that require some deep tissue work (that doesnt always mean deep pressure, but in my case it seems to). For thr past 2 or 3 years Ive mostly stuck to appointments with Steven, Rev and Joe when I can get on their schedules - they are all terrific. The best thing about this location is the desk staff is almost always friendly and helpful, and thry have lots of great therapists on staff so its easier to get appointments with a therapist who is a good fit. And the tough thing about this location is they have a lot of great therapists, so you definitely need to schedule a ways out to make sure you get in. Only thing I would change, if I could, would be more later evening/Sunday appointments (because they are so busy, and it would be easier to schedule around work).

I saw Joseph yesterday and he really helped me feel less tense and not hurt as much after my fall

Massage Envy 205 is a great spa. The front staff are so personable, and my massage therapist, Ann, does a wonderful job every time.

Anybody can massage, but not everyone knows how to massage specific muscles to make a migraine go away like Charl. I have severe migraines that can last a week and he does an amazing job getting rid of them!

I have had nothing but great experiences at this location. Sara is the best massage therapist Ive ever received from. Highly recommend.

Asya does an AMAZING job of relieving muscle tension with stretching! My limbs relax and it’s like I can feel my joints and muscles being worked on without her actually directly palpating those spots. Very effective and soothing body work!

Hands down the best of the best. Leaving Rev is the hardest part of moving out of the state for me right now! Couldn’t recommend for deep tissue more. I have a lot of body trauma and never had to feel uncomfortable when Rev worked with me. I was instantly at ease and felt safe being vulnerable with them. I’ve been seeing Rev monthly for about 2 years and I wouldn’t trade a second!

Ann did more to resolve my shoulder and knee arthritis and rotator cuff tendinitis pain in one 90-minute massage than weeks of PT treatments. She is my go-to massage therapist. I enjoy the relaxing experience of Massage Envy. I highly recommend the Mall 205 Massage Envy location and Ann!

Ann is great!! I’ve noticed no matter who I have for a 90 minute massage, you don’t get a full 90 minute massage. It ends up being more like 75 minutes.

Steven is the best massage therapist Ive ever encountered. The front desk staff on 9/21/23 at 2:30pm at mall 205 location were top-tier, quick and efficient.

I saw Asya for a 1 1/2 stretching appointment. I wasnt sure what to expect, but turned out to be both a massage (with an RTR massager), and stretching. I felt great and relaxed, and have already made my next appointment!

Absolutely do not take out a membership here.I left mine active during Covid as I know these are a franchise (aka small business) and wanted to support them.However, this meant I had way too many appointments to use when they were finally reopened. I ask that they put me on a plan where I could use my membership but not accrue new appointments. They said I’d have to put $20/month to not loose any. I should have just suspended.Then they didn’t move me to that and kept charging me the full membership fee. It took almost 10 phone calls over 2 months to get it changed. Finally, they just suspended it and now I can’t use any of my appointments.I called last week and was told I’d be put on the $20/month plan. Did they move me? Nope.Again, now no returned phone calls and the appointments I booked at another location are being canceled.Meanwhile, my 10 appointments I paid $60/piece for are unusable.Glad I’ve been paying them since 2009 with no missed payments. What a horrible way to treat your 13 year member.

Michelle at Mall 205 gives the best facials! Ive seen other people at that location, and othera are good estheticians too. But I prefer Michelle. She just knows how to relax me and knows what to use for my very sensitive, and fair skin. Highly recommended.

Anns massages are always spectacular!

Joseph did a great job on my massage. Being a big mountain ultrarunner and cyclist my legs take a beating, so it was good to have some muscle work done to relieve tension and tightening in my legs.

Tanner wss good but he left my shoulders hurting the next day. His fingers were to strong and didnt massage my lower back enough were it hurts alot. L2 and L3. But he the was kind and courteous.

I’ve been going to the Mall 205 location for years and using the same therapist. Overall I’ve been satisfied with the quality of my massages. The front desk staff are always very helpful and pleasant.

Rev is incredibly methodical and thorough when I come in for my visits. I leave feeling rejuvenated and ridiculously relaxed! He is a true asset to your company!!

I have been trying to get my account closed and credit card charges stopped for a year now. I have talked to managers over the phone multiple times, filled out their requested termination paperwork multiple times. I am still getting charged. Now when I call, the manager is not there and never returns my message. Corporate cant help since this is franchise location. Literally several hundred dollars in false charges right now and I am bringing in third parties to resolve. I never had an issue with the massages, but the proprietor of this location has been an absolute absentee manager of his business. Beware.7/14 Update: the franchisee support portal they responded with below just generated a generic automated “it’s up to the franchisee to fix it and we can’t help you” style message. Totally useless response. Crooks.

Relaxing atmosphere with excellent providers! I have had deep massage and stretch both have helped me get back to a healthy happy place. I can’t praise this place and the providers enough!!

Absolutely would not recommend this place (Massage Envy, Mall 205, Portland, OR) to anyone. Honestly, the massages were generally what I wanted. I did encounter one rude therapist, but everyone else was great. However, the administration is so so so terrible, that I have stopped going here, despite having a good massage experience. There was ALWAYS confusion, frustration, misinformation about my account, how many credits I had left, booking my next appointment, being charged when I specifically asked not to renew - you name it. Any relaxation I may have experienced was immediately washed away by dealing with the front desk. Even now during the pandemic, the store manager - who the voicemail says to contact - has taken 2 weeks to respond to my request, and still hasnt fully answered my questions. I was a member here for over a year, and they were not able to prevent me from leaving.

I made an appointment at this location and had a terrible experience. Will never go back!!!!I scheduled an appointment at this location a month ahead of time. The representative failed to inform me that the particular massuese I scheduled with required patrons to wear a mask the entire duration, even laying face down on the table!When the masseuse proceeded to tell me he required this, I explained I was not able to tolerate it. He had the audacity to suggest I wasnt wearing the mask correctly. I am a nurse and wear a mask 12 hours a day, but I still cannot wear one laying on my stomach with my face in a tiny hole.When I tried to reschedule, the front desk person was no help. The effort put in to reschedule felt weak and dismissive. I suggested they inform clients of massuesses mask requirements when they schedule patrons but it seemed to fall on deaf ears. It felt like they werent offering the customer service anyone would normally expect.Avoid this location. Service is extremely poor!!!!

Ive been a member here for well over a year and always have very positive experiences. I was shocked to see so many poor reviews. You have to be willing to try a few therapists to find the one whos style best matches what you are looking for, but its easily done. They are professional, Ive never had a billing problem and love the reminder calls that I have a massage already paid for if I havent been in for a while.

It seems as if a lot has changed since my first initial experience. All the sweet front desk Ladies have left or are now gone. It is an understatement how much a friendly face makes a difference. The last few time I have utilized my membership I have regretted the massage. I will no longer resume my membership after this month. With employees not knowing how to do the job and with constant reminders to buy facial products even though I am still well stocked after the last visit I have finally hit my limit. I will be trying some new massage places recommended instead.

Several years ago the tip suggestion was $10 for an hour 15 for 1.5 hours. Now the suggestion is $20 for an hour. My salary at my work barely gives me 2% raise. I have never received a double raise!

2 different appointments canceled, only found out about it when I walked in. So I asked to cancel my membership due to lack of communication and was told I had to wait for someone who could do that and they will call me. I have very little faith that will happen. Will update when/if that happens.Update: 1 month later they still never called but they did finally cancel my membership. Would not recommend their services as their are better people and places to go.

I have been a member of Massage Envy for over 4 years now and this massage was by far the worst I have ever received. The masseuse was a very bubbly happy young lady and I appreciate that, but feel as if she has not had enough training. I went in for a relaxing massage and now feel as if I came out of a physical therapy appointment. I should have told her she was hurting me, but I for some reason let her keep going because I thought she would get better. I called to speak with the manager and she instructed the staff member to take a message and she would call me back after her meeting. I left her with some details of what happened during the massage and did not receive that call back. I will be going to a different location next time.

Charjs does it excellent job. He got in every spot and really worked my muscles. I highly recommend him!

Scheduled a massage and when I went in there was no massage scheduled for me and I had taken time off to get the massage because the location closest to me was closed a while back. They apologized but that doesn’t help me when I’m sore and need a massage. Honestly just disappointed and don’t ever want to return.

Excellent customer care!Professional in every way!Before I found Message Envy, massage was all new to me. I new nothing.A Dr friend of mine told me to go. So I did.They have been my go-to place for more than 4yrs. When I need help to relieve stress or anxiety bound up in my body. They have provided consistent massage services including deep tissue and therapeutic with aroma therapy, that has lessened the effects of daily stress and helped me regain my life.

Jaci (LaVon) has a gentle and intuitive touch with enough pressure to work out my tension from the work week. Highly reccomend!

Ok so I want to say first - my wife and I been members for over 5 years and we’ve been coming regularly to Mall 205 location for almost 2 years now. We’ve never had a negative experience there until now. On November 15th we came in for a couples massage that was scheduled in advance as deep tissue massage with a female therapist for me and a male therapist for my wife. As we walked in to the room my therapist came and asked me a few questions about where to focus and before she started she said - let me know if you want any pressure level adjustments as we go, I said thank you sounds good and we started.About 10 min into it she started working on my back and at that point I politely told her - could you please apply a little more pressure? (A very normal request that I often make with no problems) at that point the whole visit just turned upside down for me - the therapist responded:“I’m sorry that’s all I have..” (which is a completely normal response that I’ve heard before and is completely fine) and then added - “we’re only getting paid $15 an hour.. if it’s appropriate to say that..”Really? Was that a necessary response to my request?At this point my wife’s male therapist brilliantly added - “well, a more appropriate thing to say would be - next time you book ask for a male therapist..”.That’s when the whole visit got really really awkward. I laid there silently for the rest of the massage which was another 40 min or so completely uncomfortable. If it wasn’t for my wife’s therapist doing a good job with her I would’ve stopped it and left in the middle. I came out of the massage more stiff than when I walked In. The experience was extremely uncomfortable. I never asked her how much she’s making nor did I question why can’t she apply more pressure. A simple can’t do would’ve sufficed. Instead she decided it’s ok to make me feel bad about what the company pays their employees. I pay $60 per visit. Not $15. Me and wife also ALWAYS leave 20% tip of the NON-member rate FOR EACH THERAPIST even though we’re members. So that $15 she made me feel bad about would’ve been $35 if she would not have ruined it with that unnecessary comment.The reason I’m writing this review is because after that session I asked to speak with a manager and was told there was none in at the time but was specifically promised that someone will call me the next day. Needless to say nobody did - the only follow up I had is when I left a review earlier asking for someone to call me and they replied by referring me to their corporate email address... great customer service. My wife and I spend a couple thousand dollars a year on massages and this is the level of customer service I get after such an uncomfortable situation? Real shame.We will not be coming back to Mall 205. There’s many other locations around Portland so unfortunately we’ll need to start booking elsewhere. All it would’ve taken is a phone call.. that’s all. A manager that cares about the business would’ve picked up the phone and called me and that review would’ve turned into a 5-star “they helped fix the experience we had” review instead. But it is what it is.

Good experience until I tried to cancel. while doing the canceling I asked multiple times that it was for both me and my wife, every time they said yes. they did not tell me that we had to do two separate cancellation papers. I have been charged more than I have agreed to. I am still waiting for a response concerning the cancellation of both memberships.I was able to speak with the manager and she was able to cancel the membership over the phone, no questions asked, but I wouldnt go back.

I was scheduled and they told me the wrong time. They didnt do reminder call otherwise the right time would have had a second chance at getting corrected. Massage envy is extremely unprofessional and their lack of communication is frustrating. The front desk, and management sucks. The massage therapist was amazing, that’s probably the only great interaction I’ve had with the company. Overall my experience with massage envy has been awful and I will not be returning as a member.

I recently cancelled my membership at the Mall 205 location because the manager was incredibly rude to me. I cancelled it well over 10 days before my next monthly charge should have gone through (per their policy). The date of the monthly charge passed, but the following day my card was charged and then later refunded. I was at a different location to ask about using my hours, and I asked them about this. They said they had been having issues with the Mall 205 location too, and that the Mall 205 location had been moving cancellation dates and playing with charges (waving them on the date they usually go through, but then putting them through the next day) to make their numbers look better. I never write negative reviews, but I am extremely uncomfortable with these kind of dishonest business practices. My account should have been closed a week before it was charged, and they were not authorized to charge my card when they did. Bad customer service is one thing, but shady practices like these are a whole other ballgame.

Excellent massage, friendly reception team, nice quiet space for water and tea while you wait.

I’ve had two massages at this location. The first one was fine but the walls are very thin and I could hear noise from the businesses next door including a loud crash that made me and the masseuse jump.The second massage was not great. The masseuse kept coughing; I was on the other side of the building this time and this time I could hear a different set of noises from a different business; and the masseuse has a callous or hangnail or something that was scratching me.I won’t be returning to this location.

Without a doubt, the worst massage I have ever received. Ill admit--I was seduced by the low price and decided on a 90 minute massage. About 25 minutes into the ordeal, I almost asked the therapist to stop. We discussed deep tissue massage, focusing on my upper back and hips. She literally squirted some oil on my back and kind poked/ rubbed it with no rhythm or intention. I had to ask my boyfriend to work out the knots in my shoulders later that day. Scam artists! Absolutely the worst massages. Should be called Message Angry, and, they will not let you out of there “contract” if you sign up for the discount product. Smelly, nasty, unskilled, over chatty, cold and flue having, opinionated loud, rude “therapists”:

Well I cant judge it clearly.. because I went on a Friday about 2 pm and I didnt get out to a little after 4 oclock p.m. so a very long time.. but only i got up there it went pretty fast. So it was okay just still a long wait.
