I have been to this spa dozens of times and I never had an issue worth writing about until today. I called and made an appointment for two 60 minute massages, they even confirmed with me. When I got there she asked what we were getting and not realizing their menu and prices had changed we wanted to take a second to look over what we wanted. We were talking about doing 45 mins but had not confirmed with the lady. She took a phone call and gave our 60 min time slot away without even making sure that we didn’t want it. That was the first thing thing that annoyed me but I moved on. I hurt my back yesterday and really needed a massage. My massage felt like it was being rushed and was not at all deep tissue. I asked for her to only do my back which she said okay to but later ignored. I got up from my massage in more pain then when I laid down. When it came time to pay it was $50 which I paid in cash. I asked for change for $10 to give a tip but then the lady started yelling at me about 20% tip. And started pointing to the menu saying 20%. Absolutely nowhere listed on this menu is 20% tip must be included. I always tip between 15-20% for a massage but this massage wasn’t worth a tip. Another lady came in when I was telling the masseuse why I wasn’t tipping more and tried to give a bs explanation. I took my $10 back and when I did they finally gave my change and laughed in my face. I will not be returning. I don’t know what changed at this place but they need to fix it.
I had come here once before and had a great experience. The lady I spoke to was really sweet.Based on that experience, I brought my cousin and my boyfriend. I called in and asked if there was availability for two full-body massages (90 minutes) and one foot massage. She said yes and we drove over. However, when we got there, she told us she only had availability for two people. It was a little disappointing but I just took it as a simple misunderstanding. My boyfriend (who wanted the foot massage) agreed to wait outside. My cousin and I went in to get our massages. Both sessions stopped at 60 minutes. I asked about why it was being cut short at 60 instead of 90, my masseuse went to the front to ask and came back aggressively saying 60 minutes. So I started explaining how I had called for two full-body 90 minute massages. She proceeded to shut the door WHILE I was in the middle of talking. I started getting annoyed but I got dressed and came outside, thinking maybe it’s a language barrier or another misunderstanding. The lady at the front (same one who I spoke on the phone with) started telling me it was 60 minutes only. I told her no and I re-explained what I had originally asked for. After some back and forth, I just asked to pay and leave. She asked me for the tip amount. Honestly, I didn’t even want to give her a penny at this point of time. But I told her 15%. I never skimp out on tip. Ever. In fact, I generally give over 20% because that’s how much I set aside if I ever make service-related plans. But this was just a huge waste of time. ESPECIALLY for my boyfriend who had to wait outside this whole time. So the front lady looks at me and says 20%. I asked her why? She repeats 20%. So I ask her to tell me if this is a policy or if it says this somewhere. I just read a previous review where someone shared a similar experience. But she keeps saying 20% and I said show me where it says that is a rule and I’ll pay. She tells me to be a little quiet since there’s another person getting a massage. Anyway, she scans my card and starts telling me again that I said 60 minutes. I told her I can’t keep arguing back and forth on this. I took my receipt and left.Long story short, the massage was good, but the service took all the relaxation away from it. I won’t be coming back here. Misunderstandings are one thing. Rudeness is something completely different. I’m truly embarrassed about having recommended this place to my cousin and boyfriend.
Visited twice and both experiences are very bad. First time I arrived and they told me they gave out my slot because I am 2 mins late (and they didn’t even call me). I had to wait there for half an hour. The second time is even more rude and unprofessional. They reduced time without my permission, complained a lot to me about how tired they were (while they could have just not taken my appointment), and when I tipped 20% they asked for more and threatened me not to go back if I don’t comply. I felt more stressed after the massage. Visit at your own risk - There are so many better places in the area and this one is not worth it.
The person at the front desk literally snapped at me for giving a 15% tip (she wanted 20, she kept yelling 20,20! Then snatched my money, rolled her eyes and walked away). Ive never experienced this before from a massage place. Definitely would not recommend this place
I have been using this spa in Princeton Jct. for a number of years now. I have always just walked in and been kindly received and welcomed and have never had trouble getting even a 90 minute massage at the last The massages, no matter which therapist I have seen, have always been very good.I am not as fond of the West Windsor location as the Princeton Jct. location. My first experience at West Windsor the manager/owner got into a loud fight with a therapist right outside my massage cubicle, which I could not believe. The Princeton Jct. location is always quiet and relaxing and feels safe.
Had an amazing experience here. Found this place with my co-worker. Really help us to relax after a long day of work. Very good massage, reasonable price, and everyone here is very friendly. Definitely recommend this place!
We had an incredible time. The massage was extremely high quality, the masseuses were kind, the atmosphere was perfect! The price is unbeatable, we can’t wait to go again!
Actually all good but the attitude of an old lady is really bad. I told her 20% tips and she said okay it should at least 25% and will not welcome me again. Perfect! Why not can I give 0 star here haha
I booked for an hour appointment for deep tissue and lady ended it 10 mins earlier. She decided tip I should pay.. sorry how much I must pay. Never going back there again.
Today I went to the Green House SPA again. What surprised me was that they had offers in December. They had a 60-minute body massage for $60 and a free 15-minute foot massage.
I have not visited this spa but the comments and the response from the owner has made this Spa a definite no go for me. The Owners response should always be nothing short of Sorry how can we win your business back?
They don’t do a good job, paid in cash and still they were mad because I tipped $10 not more. Better spots in Princeton and Plainsboro area.
Very friendly quiet place Cindy and Mia they both doing honest and great work I am highly recommend Cindy if someone needs strong hands 💪
! Went back and had a good timeKeep it up. Reviews do make a difference
