Jersey Dance

I’m so glad my dad found Donna for my wedding because she was such a wonderful dance instructor! She choreographed my first dance and my father daughter dance as well as helped my parents and in laws practice their dance together! Not only is Donna so patient and understanding that dance doesn’t come naturally to everyone, but she was a lot of fun to learn from and practice with!

My husband and I took dance lessons with Janie and Michael leading up to our wedding and we had a wonderful experience. Me and my Dad also took one lesson together to prepare for our father-daughter dance! Janie and Michael choreographed a first dance for us with the song we selected that was creative, elegant, and easy to learn. We were first-time ballroom dancers, but they were so great at breaking everything down and modeling the steps. Everyone was so impressed with our first dance on our wedding day! Im so happy we decided to take these dance lessons instead of just winging it the day of. We also had so much fun learning the dance together at the lessons! If you are in need of a quality, budget-friendly dance studio to practice for your big day, look no further!

Jersey Dance is such a welcoming place. The instructors are very personable and extremely patient. They want you to succeed. They have socials every Friday. The people are so friendly and make you feel like part of a family. It is a great place to go whether you are single or a couple, everyone enjoys dancing with everyone. Its a no pressure atmosphere, all skill levels are welcome. I have been taking lessons from Janie and Mike and it has been one of the best experiences in my life. Skip & Donna give a lesson at the start of the socials on Fridays and they make the lessons fun and easy to understand.

Jersey Dance is a wonderful place to learn how to dance. Instructors are knowledgeable and take the time to make sure you understand the steps. I choose to take Private Lessons from, Donna, who shares her love of dance with all of her students. Her personality makes you comfortable and provides you with confidence that you can accomplish any dance you wish to learn. Their Friday night socials are filled with people who also love to dance. The friendships that you make while learning to dance are incredible and you can also meet back up with friends from the past that you didnt know loved to dance. Highly recommend Jersey Dance.

Jersey Dance is a great find! My husband and I started taking dance lessons for fun with instructors Janie and Mike. They are a joy to work with...so much fun and such great teachers. We immediately felt completely comfortable with them. This is a terrific way to learn the steps to all the major dances. Our favorites so far are waltz, fox trot and cha-cha. The Friday night socials mix a lesson with open dancing (via DJ), and its great to mingle on the dance floor (in a lovely arts center location) with couples and singles of all ages. If youre unsure, come on a Friday night and check it out.

Wow, Donna is a great instructor! She has a great ability to teach and helped us in making our vision a reality. We both aren’t great at dancing and wanted to improve for our wedding. She made it fun and we ended up with a very detailed first dance that she put together. She even worked with our bridal party to teach them a part where we brought them in. Donna made the experience from a chore to a pleasure and now we have something we can both be proud of that we did!

Jersey Dance is a wonderful place to go dancing! They offer a wide variety, from private lessons to group classes to social dances. Theres no need to buy expensive packages based on private lessons like at other, well-known studios, but they do offer packages of classes at a discount and even a monthly subscription service (which is totally worth it if you go just once a week!). In addition, the atmosphere at Jersey Dance is casual and laid-back, not stuffy at all. The instructors are very personable. Jersey Dance constantly strives to improve its offerings and provide its customers with a fun, affordable alternative to your typical ballroom studio.

Signed up for an introductory package to celebrate our anniversary. Never thought wed be going strong with weekly ballroom lessons more than six months in! Because of the professional, talented and friendly staff and all the fun were having learning to dance, theres no reason to stop. Its obvious the instructors not only love dance, but also love teaching.

Started taking beginner dance classes at Jersey Dance. Love everything about the lessons, from the music to the teachers. At first it seemed daunting but all the steps were broken down and made understandable. The teachers are patient with wonderful spirit. One of the most remarkable things is the camaraderie of the students.

When I seen this Place on Groupon, I thought I guess will give it a shot. Thinking It Would be nice to, be able to dance. My Previous encounters with dancing was 80 people with 1 instructor. I never even got meet the person teaching the Lesson. Was I doing it right?The First Time I enter Jersey Dance I understood why It was Gem Found. The Instructors were there to help in all Levels. (Yes I said Instructors!) In less then a Year coming, I have Learn to Dance, Foxtrot, Waltz, Argentine Tango, Tango, West Coast, East Coast, Salsa, Hustle, Rumba, Hip-hop, Line Dancing and Cha-Cha. A fun place to dance, great floor , nice music and the instructors are great, Mike, Jane and Skip. The studio owner, Jeff, is all about the dancers having a good time.

I have always wanted to learn dancing and am so glad I found Jersey Dance. Everything about this place is phenomenal. Very convenient times and location. The teachers are superb and very encouraging. My only regret is not finding this place earlier!!!

Started out as a non dancer, took 4 months of classes and now I cant stop dancing. The teachers are professionals and i found their theaching method easy to understand and I learned fast.

I try go to Jersey Dance every week. I love the atmosphere, the people, the floor, and the music. All that makes for a wonderful evening of dancing!!
