Sorry people, this is a long one 😞😣I like going to the Blackrose, however I have had 3 experiences with the same bartender. The 1st time I thought he was funny and kinda cool, but young. The second time, he was different, and I had to think to myself, must be having a bad day. I GET it, we all have them. He was rude to my friend. I thought it was in a joking way at first, but every time she tried talking, he was rude and I felt uncomfortable. I was ready to go but we stayed a little while longer. So then tonight Wednesday February 21, I met my friend again, excited to see her, and then that bartender was there, he was ok with me, got me a drink right away, I gave him a five and said keep the dollar. Posted on the special board for Wednesday was Bud/ Bud light/ Busch/ Natural Ice $2.50The patrons in the bar had just realized this and brought it up around 7:20 or so. We went out for a smoke, my friend looked at the bartender, who came out later, and asked Can we have a talk without argument? He eventually listened, but did not agree with charging her the sale price of $2.50 because he said the owner had just told him to charge her $3. Which is no big deal but it is posted on the special board, which MOST will honor, but he wouldnt budge and told us to leave. He made the comment Well how long has that been posted? I just thought well All bars have weekly specials! I was ready to start being rude so I kept my mouth shut. Me as a returning customer, (but not a regular), felt like the bartender was disrespectful. I was ready to leave. I had $40 to spend, and spent 5. I had even suggested him to text his boss. So I will NOT return if this Andrew is working. Sorry Kris and Patty, no disrespect. I enjoy going to your bar and I Always have a good time with other visits (and bartenders). I will return and will recommend your bar for a good time!

I hope in4 the type of alcohol.not many bars carry what I like.plus go shooting pool on sun.great place. Friendly atmosphere

OMGosh....we had the BEST time here! Met some of the coolest people from the area, shared a lot of laughs and had some great drinks & pizza! Would definitely love to go back if ever in the area!!

The Black Rose Saloon is a local hotspot in Princeton IL. They got a very nice stage with a great sound system. Strong stiff drinks, friendly staff, and delicious bar pizza!! Chris the owner is a gracious host and took care of us really well. They support local music so 5 stars all day!! 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠

Nice hometown bar. Two pool tables and a nice selection of beer and liquor. Bartender was very personal. Would highly recommend.

Bigger on the inside than I expected. We went there to see the Halloween costume contest and it had good music, drinks, and snacks.

Good time. Love my bartenders. Little too bright for me, tho. Im not always a fan of the band choice but gotta cater to every age n taste. Dont really appreciate owner grabbing a drink out of my hand for getting too close to the exit, but wont be doing that again.

Great place , ice cold Beer and AC! I will bring my customers back in !

My travel companion and I had a lot of fun here. Wrestling show was cool, drink specials were on point. Staff was friendly and helpful!

A big improvement from the previous establishment. The owner is extremely friendly and books great entertainment. Drinks are reasonably priced, drink specials are actually relevant to peoples tastes, and the bathrooms are clean.

Spacious environment with lots of fun to have! The people are very down to earth and friendly. The food is amazing and love the events! 🎉🎉

Prices good. Music too loud, DJ was playing extremely loud and crappy music when no one was even there. A new bar with opportunity to still improve!

Great place to have a drink. Smoking area. Clean bathrooms. Big place. Pool tables. Darts. Even beer pong. Plenty to take the edge off. Worth a look anyway.

Best water in town!!! They also have a door!!! I saw a cat in the parking lot take a poop!!

Excellent bar, very clean, large stage with cool lights for the bands, large dance floor area too.

I do believe that the BlackRose is the best public bar they have in Princeton the other places cant compare

They are the first bar Ive been to that doesnt provide free refills on soda for the DD.

Awesome Bar with curtious staff, Great Drinks,and Resonable Prices.

Still just the same old Cadillac. Gross as ever. To top it off the new owners are always rude to their customers.

The wife and husband have no respect for anyone ... Its a small town bar .. Bathrooms are horrible .. Sad to connect it with the phyco silo
