Edited Review:The music this past Saturday was awesome. Kudos to the DJ...💥💥💥💥Old Review:Saturday night: The DJ played the same beat of songs for almost 1hr 45min. This review is totally about the music: sucks. Nobody dancing and DJ continues to play the same beat in every song. Every song sounds like a version of the next, which discouraged me from dancing and buying more drinks. The DJ looks like an elderly gentleman who has no clue about jazzing up a crowd to dance.I wish I could save an hour long clip (on this review) so you can hear what the DJ played all night. Ruins the mood.
The first time I went was during the week (Wednesday), and it was a decent crowd, so I decided to go again the following weekend (PRIDE), and let me tell you I’m hooked! The bartenders are fast, friendly & observant.
Be careful at this place. the bartenders are known for running up your tab on your credit card and adding themself a big tip. Especially Ivan! Thankfully the owner refunded me. But Ivan still works there. Be warned.***Update since the owner commented and doesn’t know what’s going on in his own bar: Ivan has told me I’m not allowed there and this is because he got busted for credit card fraud with my card. That’s right, I was banned by the thief who stole from my credit card. Yea let’s ban the victim, who we just gave his money back to. Instead of firing the thief!
(1) I wish leather/underwear night was much more frequent, and (2) I wish there was a *little* bit more lighting on leather/underwear night!I mean, we all know why it is so dark... but honestly it was impossible to see *anything.* Seemed pointless wearing my sexy new jock when quite literally nobody saw it on me. A little lighting would go a long way. Instead of staying there for hours, I was kind of ready to leave after like 30 mins.
What happened to customer service? Bar tender didn’t want to acknowledge me, and patrons were bumping into me as I was sitting at the bar. If you’re not older, overweight, and trying to hookup with them: the place isn’t for you. I won’t be back.
Mikey the owner and the bartenders are amazing. A great place to gather for social drink and enjoy others company.
Place was boring with slow music for a Sunday afternoon. Play some upbeat music. I had 1 drink and left it was so boring there for a Sunday st 5pm....
This is my go to place. Rarely do I not have a good time. Staff is friendly/hot.
I was initially excited to visit this Eagle because I have had great experiences at other locations. This bar felt unwelcoming; the bartenders didnt even acknowledge me sitting at the bar waiting to order drinks; the raiders fan bartender just kept helping the people walking up after me on the side. I was sitting at the end, and I asked the barback, am I in the wrong place to order drinks? He said and took my order. After another 10 mins, the other bartender looked up and asked if I wanted anything. I told him my order was taken. Lucky, I had asked someone else. Im not sure if he was new and overwhelmed or intentional. But I can see I wasnt the only one experiencing this. Maybe have more bartenders to increase your profit and customer service experience, 3 or 4 minimum when busy. Plus to this bar, music was good.
Strange place. We went for a cocktail at about 6:00 pm. The bartender was so involved with a couple of people at the end of the bar, he couldnt be bothered to wait on us. We left after 10-15 minutes. The Stable is a much better place to go.
I’m from Dallas and unfortunately, Dallas Eagle closed during CoVid and has not reopened. But I always make a point to stop at this Eagle whenever I’m in town to see family. The bartenders have always been friendly and attentive and love the energy/testosterone on the dance floor!! Great/Fun Bar!
I going to be moving to Providence in May. Would like to come check this place out!! Open to the public?
Long time Eagle customer. Look, while I love this bar and the people are great, get a new DJ for Saturday. If your gonna charge $10 cover charge, at least get a DJ that can play good music. Every weekend, same tracks, same beat. A DJ needs to be an entertainer and read the crowd. This DJ just plays the same playlist every weekend and it’s honestly starting to get boring to come to the bar. Better music, better crowd, better sales, more profit and that’s based on actual experience. By the way, while you may take this as just one customer who doesn’t like this music. That’s not the case, I’ve spoken to multiple people that have said the same thing. Play some good house music and not the repetitive jungle track. Last thing, get a POS. While the clover thing is “great”, your better off to get an actual POS that sets pre authorizations on people’s cards. You don’t need to hold on people’s cards, cashing out is simple, bartenders keep better track and customers get served faster, which means more $$$.While this is a four star review for the eagle, it’s still a great place and welcomes all people. Ill still be coming back but after four years, I just needed to say something. Hopefully the owner will take these things in consideration.
Been coming here since it was Dark Lady, came in the other afternoon for a drink. I simply disagreed with the other 4 men sitting at the bar, my tab was closed by the bartender and I was told to leave, that I was not welcome. It was my favorite bar, but now I’ll never go back. So disappointed by the closed mindedness of the people at this establishment.
Came here from New Jersey for a visit with some friends - the crowd was very welcoming - Bryan and Steven (bartenders) made our night. Not only where they extremely attentive and friendly, but they made our drinks very strong (that’s a good thing 😉). Also the music on Friday night was amazing.
Great place to go during covid! Friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Our server, Mike, was phenomenal! So attentive and willing to accommodate us with a heat lamp wherever we decided to sit. Providence Eagle, hold onto Mike! He is a gem 💎!
I live in Wilton Manors and had to come and check out this eagle because the one in WM is great and so isn’t this one. Everyone was very friendly drinks and the music were great.
Never been there before nice and small not too big however my friends and I would definitely enjoy coming more but they need more lighting some nice warm lighting above the bar would make the place a lot more attractive its way too dark
Had an issue. The owner got in contact with me
Very nice at the door not an 18 plus club but they were very kind when they had told me I hope soon they change that because a lot of people I know in the 18 - 20 age group want to go to clubs out in providence thank you for your kind service
Went there Thursday 1/25/18..horrible at best, it was obvious bartender was drunk, could barely even function. He spent more time hanging on guys at the end of bar than waiting on customers.
Was charged $13 for a Bacardi and coke by a kinda rude bartender who was kinda drunk at 6pm... kind of bums me out as this is the seventh different Eagle Ive been to and Ive never had this experience before...
Love this place the manager Reggie is amazing the drink prices are so cheap
Horrible place rasict they don’t pay attention to people of color that establishment is based for white men and white men only
Free pool, generous drinks, friendly clientele. Drinks are the same prices as other bars (but generous pours).
I love to go there and Mikey is great heArt to help and everything. I love him. I love providence eagles bar.
Welcoming and amazing on a cold almost winter’s night.
LOVE THIS PLACE . ALWAYS HAVE FUN AND ALWAYS GO HOME WITH A COUPLE LARGE STUDS FOR A AFTER PARTY .
Go get your dance on! Not for everyone, but go with a few friends and have a blast!
Eagle is an experience … all around the country the eagle bars they are!
Bad service at times. Watch out
Wonderful time with hot guys in leather, latex, or jocks!!
Nice place to get out and let your hair down
They don’t like women. Sad.
Great atmosphere!
A mans bar for men.
Inclusive? Open ? Tolerant? Wouldn’t that be the values of an LGBT community? We arrived in a group and the bouncer directly stopped the three tallest men with beards. I didnt know that a gay bar didnt accept straight people. Obviously as a woman they said yes for me.We went straight to moonshine alley which is much better.Very disappointed I wont even try to go there by myself. To pay $20 more…
