The Loft La Novita Salon

La Novita Salón is absolutely my favorite place to go! I have been going there for at least a decade. I’ve had amazing service with a couple of the ladies that work there doing my hair. I would highly recommend anyone. You go there you’ll get exactly what you need/want. For as long as I can think back, I now have been going to see my girl Justine, who is my favorite stylist on earth. She has gotten to know what I like and what I don’t like. I always leave there feeling like a queen! I highly recommend the salon to anyone.

We had no idea this place was around and it’s been in Randolph for 30 years with the same owner..IMPRESSIVE! I took my daughter her for a spa day for her birthday and we had a WONDERFUL time. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome and a big smile! The treatments were a facial, mani, pedi, massage and hairstyle! All the ladies need a shout out!Lisa - massage- my daughter loved it and she wanted stay extra!Michelle - PEDI - I got the paraffin wax on my feet and the extra reflexology ….so Fabulous! She took her time, gave me a stellar foot massage and great conversation, as I sat there and enjoyed every minute. Now the reflexology is extra, but well worth the money!Linda- facials and manicures. So relaxing and soothing. She provided great recommendations for facial treatments. My nails were perfect, which she didn’t have much to work with.Meaghan -Hairstyle. We both loved her! You can always tell when someone loves what they do because they shine with their finished product.Make sure you make an appointment in advance, there is plenty of parking and I think the prices are decent. I won’t say what I spent, but lets put it this way….I wasn’t shocked!Overall, great spa experience, the place is clean, staff is first-rate, personable and A+ of their knowledge of their trade! We will be back!I wish I took more pictures!

The hair dresser was very sweet and did a great job on my hair. She only trimmed about an inch off my hair and put some foil highlights in. The only issue I had was that fact that the trim and highlights cost. $250. That’s a bit much for what was actually done. My hair is only about 3 inches long in the first place so she had to use very little product so the price was quite steep in my opinion. But other than that I am happy with the service I received

I have been going to LaNovita for 20 years and I have had my hair done by several stylists and I am always happy. My daughter Nora and my son also go there. They are all very professional and make my visit special. Always happy 💕my daughter hair from Senior prom and my niece

Justine is the best and has been doing my hair for years! She’s an expert with blondes so I’ve always trusted her with my range of shades throughout the seasons. I would highly recommend giving the salon a try!

I love, love, love The Loft @La Novita Salon! Still in place are the fabulous people who work there but the space at The Loft is more open, creative, and contemporary. The bathrooms are beautiful and practical. The Loft is more focused in their services while maintaining the positive atmosphere with high standards . This looks like a brilliant move for this outstanding business!

Sarah was amazing! I have chaotic curly hair and Sarah was able to cut it and style it while walking me through it. While also recommending products that will better suit my hair.

I love this salon! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Sara is a pro at color and giving the perfect cut. They are prompt, professional and so talented. It’s such great vibe.

Always great. I go to different stylists depending on my schedule and they are always personable, friendly and fun. They listen to what you want and don’t pressure you to change or spend more money. I’ve been going for years and am always pleased with the services.

My partner and I have been here two years in a row for massages and each time has been such an incredible experience. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and make us feel so relaxed and at peace. Michelle and Lisa are amazing at what they do and we would recommend them to anyone in need of a spa day!

Always a great experience! Ive been waxed by Linda several times (bikini). She even waxed me during my last pregnancy after cautioning me about how painful it might be and as always, she was efficient! Linda is very professional as are all the staff. Highly recommend!

This was my first appointment at La Novita. My sister recommended the salon after my having had a bad haircut at another salon-I needed someone to fix the cut. Gabby (sp?) asked me questions and made suggestions and checked in with me throughout the cut and style. I love my cut. It will work beautifully for my life and style. I highly recommend Gabby (my sister tells me all the stylists there are fabulous).

Update -- I still travel far to see Marie work her magic!!!Original post over 2 years ago..I am in love with my hair and have never felt so gorgeous with the lighter colors. Recently had a facial with Linda and Oooomg…I felt like a new woman when I left there. Never had an experience like that before. Immediately got complements on how my skin looks from people who had no idea I got a facial so it was THAT notable. Just booked a bunch more facials!!!

I’ve been coming to La Novita to see Michelle for massage for many years now. La Novita has such an inviting and comfortable spa, and Michelle’s massage therapy work is amazing. I’ve come to see her on days when my back and shoulders had me all twisted up and pained, and Michelle just fixed it all and sent me home on a cloud. We have the best conversation and truly has the hands of a healer.

I found my little slice of heaven at La Novita Salon and Spa in Randolph, MA. This full service day spa feels more like a 5 star resort spa complete with robes, lockers a lounge and shower. Their extensive menu has everything you would want to pamper yourself from hair extensions, to waxing, massages, and more! I had a hot stone massage with Michelle H. It was absolutely amazing. The muscle aches and stress just meted away! I highly recommend this spa for all your relaxation and beauty needs. I cannot wait to return!

I have been a client at La Novita for several years. I recently went it in to get a haircut. My stylist Marie greeted with me a warm smile a hug and a glass of champagne! I have an afro and she knows how to work with my hair. I got the exact haircut I wanted and decided at the last minute to blow it out instead of wearing it curly..she did a great job with that too! Service has been top tier every time I go there. I recommend the spot!

Most people only say , I never have any one else touch my hair. At LA Novita there is a communication and trust. I love to get my hair done there by Gabby. I have been coming here for years and have met with different stylists throughout the years. The Owner spends a lot of focus on uniform training across the board which shows with the consistency of success amongst each stylist. Everyone is super friendly and sociable.

I’ve been going to Marie & La Novita for 10 years & counting.I had bounced around for haircuts my whole life. Men’s haircuts are not always simple and it seems like the marketplace wants us to get buzz-cuts, fades & a lot of copy-cat looks. Every place I went to was always kinda the same.La Novita makes me feel like my business matters to them, and I would never have anyone cut my hair besides Marie. When she went on maternity leave I just stopped cutting my hair. 🤣

I have been a customer at La Novita for over 20 years. I have gone to many stylists and have always been extremely pleased. All stylists are up to date on current trends, always willing to change things up and give fabulous on trend service. I give them the highest of ratings.

I had an amazing massage with Michelle. She offered me something to drink and set the room up to have a wonderful atmosphere. Shes very professional and I couldnt have asked for more. She has a great technique and cant wait to see her again.

I cannot say enough positive things about this salon. It is super clean and so professional. My stylist (Sarah) took time to talk about my hair, style and color. She took her time with my color and cut, checking how it fell often.Even my shampoo ( complete with a long relaxing scalp massage) in the beautiful star lit room was just...so nice! My blow out was amazing and Sarah even took time to do some extra styling afterward to show me some different options. A cut and color is an elevated experience here.

My experience with La Novita was excellent. The setting was very spacious for social distance, clean and very friendly every time I went for massage. Todays experience was wonderful with Michelle. She was amazing; very professional, friendly and punctual. Last time I went there Lisa did my massage and; she was amazing as well with the same great quality. I love going there for a relaxing moment.

When I moved to the area last year, La Novita was recommended to me....and WHAT a recommendation! I just went again for the second time and Justine and Gena helped me look and feel gorgeous. Justine cut and dyed my hair - I have curly hair and its hard to find a good stylist, but Justine knows it all and did SUCH a great job! Gena styled my hair so beautifully and I walked out feeling like a queen thanks to both of them. The professionalism, cleanliness, creativity, and kindness of the staff is why I will be back a third time. La Novita is my new salon of choice for sure.

I visited La Novita for the first time yesterday. I had an appointment with Marie and explained to her I wanted to grow out my silver hair. She reviewed all the options with me and there was absolutely no pressure at all from her. We agreed on a toner and she gave me a cut as well. Her cut was great and helped my very thick hair to be more manageable and less ‘Dora-like’. The salon itself is clean and the staff professional, they have covid precautions in place. Marie listened to what my hair goals were and I was very pleased with the service! I booked my next appointment and for sure La Novita is my new hair salon home.

Everyone is so nice! Taylor has been my hair stylist for 7+ years. She always understands what I want to do with my hair even when I don’t sometimes haha. Taylor is truly THE BEST!! Cannot recommend her enough. The salon itself is large and inviting with a large selection of Oribe, Kevin Murphy, and Color Wow. 10/10

This is the first salon I have ever gotten my hair done at. I was super super nervous at first. The inside of the Salon is SO NICE. They provide you with snacks as you wait for your appointment. You can tell that the staff here really care about their customers. My hair came out absolutely amazing. The color is exactly what I wanted. I also got it cut and it looks amazing. I am so glad that I chose this Salon. I will definitely be back in a little while for another cut with Breanna. Breanna was so amazing. She did an awesome job and I couldnt be happier. I have been visiting this salon for over a year and have had many services. Hair coloring, cut and style, lashes, and facials. I have been extremely happy with everything. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I moved to MA about 2 years ago and was concerned I would not be able to find a salon/spa that I would be happy with. I can honestly say I am very happy and plan on being a loyal client for as long as I live here! I highly recommend it to everyone.

Fantastic experience! Amazing, upscale salon in my own backyard!! Gabby transformed my hair into a work of art! I wanted pastel, rainbow colors! I get a partial foil done with Sade every 6-7 weeks. Hands down the best color every time. Sometimes I let her go rouge & sometimes I tell her what I’m thinking for color based on the season, either way the outcome is always better than expected. Highly recommend!

My cousins got me a gift card for my birthday last week for massages as I have been going through so much lately and mind you it clearly states on their website that they offer massages as I am writing this review . Just to call to book an appointment to be told that they aren’t doing massages until in a month or more . Total false advertisement! And they declined to refund the gift card . Buyer beware.

Sarah P. Has styled my hair and my partners hair for over a year now and we are thrilled. We moved out from downtown Boston to the “suburbs” but still require city treatment. We found La Novita Salon & Spa and Sarah P. after recommendations from our salon owning friends downtown. We are thrilled with the prices (so affordable) but even more with the high-end city treatment that we receive when we walk into this salon. The amenities are priceless and the experience and end result are worth the drive. If I didn’t mention before, Sarah P. is NYC talent at an amazing price (way too low if you ask me, thank goodness 😊)!

Had a great experience! First time getting a facial so I wasnt really sure what to expect but India made sure to explain step by step what she was doing and what each product was.My massage was absolutely amazing! Linda was great, it was a little awkward at first stripping completely naked but the massage was worth it! I left feeling relaxed, loose, and energized!

On behalf of a dear friend of mine, Cynthia:i have been going to Anne Marie to get my hair colored for the last 12 years. she is known as a gifted colorist and educator of many new graduates. over the year, i have referred many clients to her, as i have been highly satisfied with her work to this point.during the pandemic, i did not get my hair colored, cut, or styled for that entire year. upon returning, she informed me that much of my base hair had grayed, and that it was necessary for her to return my base hair to its natural color. that procedure took about an hour. without washing my hair or putting me under the lights / hair dryer, she immediately foiled my hair, as i had always been a dish water blonde in the past. the first part of this coloring procedure took three hours .after she had washed, cut and styled my hair, she realized that the highlights she had done were now orange. we were all a bit shocked with the result in the salon.she then informed me that we would have to do this process all over. this took another approximate 3 hours, and it involved me cancelling appointments with 3 of my patients in that time, as the total time spent there was six hours. i was charged $350, and additionally purchased hair products to help fix the problem, bringing the total to 589$. i cried the whole way home.i will never return there for these reasons, 1) Anne-Marie never apologized to me: however, i was not surprised by this, since she was not typically very nice to me, i tolerated that because of her expertise, 2) i should never have been charged $350 for a procedure that typically would cost $175. basically, i was double charged for an error in her judgement, and left the salon barely recognizing myself.

I have been going to LaNovita for over 15 years...I love the staff, talented and friendly.They recently increased their prices...ouch..a little unexpected...maybe I missed an email but I understand.Love the new place.

One of the worst salons Ive been too. went in to get a specific color, trim and blow out and left even worse, looking like a wet dog. The staff is nice and the place is clean but I dont think the price was worth it. I paid $300 for a bleach and trim didnt get a blow out because I was there for 4 hours. Most of the time I spent there was waiting in between because the stylist kept doing other people in between. I got out so mad, everyone just kept telling me I should of gotten a refund because how bad of job they did. I called the salon and they said that the girl I had was the {best} and that she lasted many hours trying to fix my hair. well duuuh, she did like 3 other customers in between, of course she took forever. Anyways, never going there again. dont be fooled.

I cannot say enough for this hair salon! I walk out all the time feeling beautiful !!! Marie is phenomenal on what she does! Everyone says why do you drive all the way up to Randolph? I drive from RI for my phenomenal stylist Sade and this amazing salon!! My stylist Sade is the only person who I will ever let touch my hair ! Her level of expertise with color, cuts and hair extensions is one like no other. ! Everyone there is super sweet and welcoming !

I have been coming to la novita for almost a decade. The staff is wonderful, regardless of who you see, you are always in good hands. You haven’t truly lived until you have received a shampoo under the stars at la novita, 20/10 would recommend to a friend.

This was the 1st time and I went in without an appointment on Valentines day. If you ever need to feel special, have a little you day this place is amazing. Front desk was very welcoming, I really liked that they had various levels of stylists up to a master stylist to choose from. As pretty as the waiting area is with a table of mints and Hersheys kisses, I never had to wait. I was assigned Sarah, a friendly hair stylist who listened to my ideas, cared about what I wanted and offered much needed suggestions and guidance. Not only did she give me a 1st timer discount it helped me to decide to go for it....wash, cut, style, highlights, lowlights, my roots, 2-3 inches off the ends, layers added and a newer cleaned up hairstyle for under 150.00. To start I was brought to an area to put on a robe over my clothes which was nice, offered a choice of beverages in a wine glass, later I was offered several snacks as well. The owners were there and upon finding out I was new they each made a point of coming over and introducing themselves. They were both very friendly, welcoming, and were genuinely interested in speaking to me. They also mentioned they encourage customers to be open and honest about the result and if any issue at all, upon letting them know, they will make sure the customer is happy. That was refreshing to hear. I dislike the salons that make me feel like a burden if I want a little more taken off etc. The hair washing area is the most relaxing space Ive ever encountered at a salon. Its a darkened room with relaxing spa music and the ceiling is amazing with slow twinkling lights giving the effect of a beautiful starry night. I was given a heated towel for my neck which made it all the more relaxing. They have adjustable lights for the stylist to see clearly while I relax in the recliner watching the stars, soaking in the music and enjoying a thorough hair washing with perfect scalp pressure. As Sarah was working on my hair we discussed the other options this place had from mani/pedi area away from hair salon area, a spa area and she said she would give me a tour after I was done if I wanted to peek around...OF COURSE lol....in the end she had another customer that she had to take and I went up front to pay my bill. I was happily surprised that not only did she remember from a conversation 45 mins prior but she made sure to have another stylist take me on a tour so that she could tend to her customer. I was happy that she took the time to remember the tour she offered. The tour was worth it. This place is so much more than what it appears from the outside. They had some beautiful spa rooms, very calming relaxation area in the spa, nice calming music, smelled good and 1 room had a jetted huge tub. A locker area, bathroom, shower, dressing area. Im now interested in trying out some of the spa services. The prices as I saw seem fair to maybe a bit higher but for all that you get out of this spa like experience its so worth it. The business is right across the street from Lombardos and is deceiving from the front. The inside is very stylish with a spa vibe. So how did I find this place? I used Google, Yelp, FB and did an overall search within 10 miles of my home. They had a large number of good reviews so I figured Id give it a try. I was trying to find a different place to get my hair cut and to discuss cost of changing/correcting my hair color. I had bleached my hair blonde via other salons and not once but twice I used... dare I say it..gasp..boxed..store bought...OTC ;) Im glad others took the time to review this place or I may never have found it. If you look at my before/after pocs you can also see some of the salon.

I can not recommend Gabby enough! I’ve struggled to find a hair stylist for a while that achieves exactly what I want without damaging my hair. I told Gabby I couldn’t decide between going darker, or lighter, and she AMAZINGLY achieved both at the same time. It was exactly what I wanted, and I almost started crying when she finished drying it and revealed the color. She’s super sweet, and extremely talented! 1000000/10!

Gaby is amazing. I went in to dye my hair blonde (balayage) for the first time ever (my hair is usually medium to dark brown). She did the best job and was very nice and professional. The salon is completely COVID19 compliant and the staff is courteous and efficient. Hair came out gorgeous.

I absolutely love this salon. Ive been going there since I was...12 I believe. Ive had many stylists over the years and each always listen to exactly what I want. They are wonderful people and I have to disagree with the comments about their customer service. They are always over the top friendly when I go in there and make sure I leave happy. I go to Justine for color and Kerre for cutt. I love them both so much and they know exactly what I want. Id recommend this salon to anyone and Ive reffered many friends there. LOVE it!

Marie transformed my flat long hair to a beautiful tousled bob. All in thirty minutes tops. I gave her a picture I found online she made my hair look even better than that. :)

Sade did an amazing job. She is professional, sweet, experienced, and I will continue to see Sade in future. When you spend close to 300 bucks you hope you leave happy and I can say my daughter and I left feeling like Princesses!!!

They do not know how to specialize in curly coarse ethnic hair. What is wrong with these people. When you ask for managers owner. They become irate.They will sit there and tell your child hair is too curly or too coarse. HOW DARE YOU! Borderline discrimination MCAD NEEDS TO KNOW THIS TREATMENT !

Today I had an appointment scheduled for 10:45. As I am driving there at 10:40 I get a phone call saying ooopppssss sorry they should not have made that appointment for you. I asked if they could look to see if they had anything in the next half an hour because I had to go out this afternoon. The person put me on hold, as I continued to drive there and arrived right at 10:45 I was still on hold as I walked into the salon. The person was helping customers at the counter, I walked up to talk and she said oh your still on hold.

Absolutely love this place!!! All the stylists are so talented and their spa services are fabulous. I’ve been going to this salon for several years now and have seen several different stylists and I love them all!

I had a hot stone massage. It was AMAZING. I did not want it to end. I am going to make this a monthly habit. Great costumer service. 10/10 would recommend.

Got my hair dyed and cut today. i normally have 3c hair. i left there with 1a hair. they practically gave me a perm . im literally so upset. my curls are literally gone.
