In Rock Hill as my mom recovers from open heart surgery. It has been stressful to say the least. A week after I arrived, a ball formed in the middle of my back. My daughter graciously offered to gift a massage. I searched the area and found Pure Escape. From the first call through the end of my deep tissue massage, was amazing. Top notch customer service. Beverage when I arrived. Face to face greeting with my therapist and one/one consult before we started. Not only was this THE best massage Ive ever had, Andrea is an intrinsically beautiful person. I am grateful to have found this place and will be back. I highly recommend Andrea and this establishment. Thank you so much.

Pure Escape waxing was amazing! I got a bikini done for the first time and it went so well. Michele is so friendly and welcoming. It never felt awkward or like she was rushing. I highly recommend getting a waxing done here!

This place blocked me from scheduling and never even indicated why. I have never done anything to this company to make them do that. I have paid for any service (massage) rendered. Due to never being informed of any justified reasoning for being removed from scheduling, Im recommending that people of color watch out, cause this place might be discriminatory. The professionalism is subpar - and it seems surreal to remove someone from the schedule without any conversation or anything.

Seriously the most relaxing experience of my life. Sonja did my massage and it was fabulous. She made it so relaxing and inviting in the room. Then I went to my facial with Melanee. I had never had a facial before so she talked me through it first. It felt wonderful! I also had my eyebrows waxed and tinted. They look so great! Thank you ladies for a fabulous day! I dont usually leave reviews but I felt like I had to! First love the setting it really sets the mood and get you excited for your service. The staff is very friendly. So I had Andrea for a massage and she really made me feel comfortable and this girl know her stuff and shes very knowledgeable I learn so much from her and she gave me the best personable experience!So I definitely prebooked with her again cant wait for the next massage! :)

Today was my first facial and only 2nd massage along with my first visit to Pure Escape Resort. I was referred by a friend and was looking forward to it for the last month.It did not disappoint!First I received my facial and brow wax from Melanie. The entire time she explained the process and helped with suggested different products I could use for my dry skin and the occasional in grown facial hair I get. She was very kind and really ensured that I left her feeling fantastic!Next, I was taken to the massage room where Olivia was my masseuse. Again, this is only the 2nd massage I’ve ever received and the first one left me more sore than relaxed. This was not the case with this visit. I had the 90 mins hot stone massage and it was beyond relaxing! Olivia ensured at different touch points to ensure I was comfortable with the pressure and overall relaxed. The hot stone was a GREAT experience and I would absolutely go this route again. I also had a foot and calf scrub which was very soothing as well.The entire time, I felt like my experience was a priority of both Melanie and Olivia and would ABSOLUTELY recommend Pure Escape to friends and family for their spa needs! I’ll definitely be a repeat guest.

Came here for my first massage and I had Matt Jauregui. He was amazing at explaining the process of the massage and guiding me through the massage. He relieved me of my neck and back pain. Matt is amazing and I definitely recommend him! Will be coming back soon :)

Michelle is the best! The atmosphere is comfortable, she answered my many questions, and dealt beautifully with my extremely sensitive skin. I received an anti aging sensi peel and I am very happy with it. I also ended up purchasing some of the makeup and skincare. Very happy with my visit, I will be back!

Just had the most amazing spa day with a facial by Michele and massage by Daniel. Daniel really targeted all my tension points and Michele made my face so refreshed and beautiful with all their amazing makeup products. Cannot recommend this spa enough!!

Today I visited Pure Escape Resort for a waxing service with Michele ( who is actually the owner). I drove out of my way for my service due to current spa closings in NC because of COVID19. When I arrived Michele asked me a series of health screen questions, took my temperature, wore masks and gloves. She is taking every precaution to protect herself, her employees and her clients. This was my first visit there and I was very impressed. I have been getting waxing services for over 5 years and this was one of the best I have ever had. Micheles spa is comfortable, clean and relaxing. As a service provider she is knowledgeable, professional, personable and patient. I would highly recommend her spa to my friends and family. I will definitely be back!

I had never been to the spa before and when I tell you I will definitely go back I mean it. I wanted to go for my birthday so my mom told me to make the appointment and I did. I went June 15th 2021, and I got a deep tissue massage and facial. Charla did my deep tissue massage she was really sweet and she made me feel comfortable. She told me a little about herself and took the time to get to know me. The massage was really good. The second thing I did was a 30 minutes facial with Michele. Michele is sweet too and she spoke to me and asked me questions about my skin and things. Then she recommends some products for my face. She also told me a little about them. Both of the ladies I had were amazing and I couldnt ask for better. They made me feel like Ive known them forever. I cant wait to go back !!!!

We are a little late in this review but it definitely needs to be written. My girlfriend and I went a couple weeks ago for her birthday, and all the ladies here made sure we had the most memorable and incredible experience. The atmosphere was super relaxing, we felt all our stressors wipe away at the door. They greeted us with some birthday drinks and pure joy. All the ladies involved in making our day special were incredible. They all really knew their specialty when it came to the massages and facials we received! We had such a fun and relaxing escape and left feeling amazing. I couldnt have been happier with our experience here! Definitely would recommend to everyone!

I had such a lovely massage and facial today at Pure Escape. Jessica and Michele the owner were both so sweet when I first walked in this morning for the first time. Michele even worked me into her schedule today so I could also get a facial along with my massage. My facial was so refreshing and I got some great skin care tips and PCA skin products to help with my acne while I was there. Charla was the one who did my massage today and she has some magical hands! I was practically almost asleep while she worked out all the knots I had in my back, it was that relaxing. She was such a kind lady to be around and very helpful when I asked her questions about different types of massages. I would definitely recommend this place of business for any massage or facial needs you may have or be looking for :)

Michelle is an all star pro w Brazilians. I experienced 0 pain or sting, which is quite a feat to me while getting this service done. I have very sensitive skin that reddens, but I didnt experience that at all w her. She showed me some easy techniques to do to distract me and decrease soreness during the wax. I kept dreading and waiting for the pain to start on the more sensitive areas during the service, but it never came and before you knew it, we were done. She is efficient too - I think the whole service took maybe 20 minutes. I was even more impressed w the cost for the service to get it done. Not to mention, her room has a beautiful view of trees w natural light. When I think of Brazilians, the word relaxing doesnt come to my mind. However, she someone changed that for me.

Yesterday was my first time getting lash extensions and henna brow tint and my technician Taylor did an excellent job of making me feel comfortable and executing the look I wanted. The staff was also super friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing.I would recommend coming here to any and everyone!

I went in last week for a long overdue massage. As soon as I walked in the doors, the entire staff was so sweet & friendly! The massage was exactly what I wanted, and they actually ended up having time to squeeze me in for a facial as well that was so nice! I got a Brazilian wax with Michelle and I must say that it was amazing it was my first time since I moved in the rock Hill area and I have been searching for a good spot to go to to get my service done and I came across pure escape resort I read the reviews and I knew that I had to check them out. as soon as you walk in you are so welcome by the vibe and atmosphere I truly cannot explain it I just felt good being there when I made it into the room with Michelle she told me to lay down on my side and I almost fell asleep at how relaxed I felt as soon as I walked in she made the process so nice she did a thorough job and she was so sweet I loved Her and I’m definitely coming back

By far this has been my best massage experience ever. From the moment you walk through the door to the moment you walk out you are well taken care of. The business is extremely clean and cared for and it shows. Olivia is amazing and did an excellent job for my first massage here. Everyone is so kind and im already planning to go back!

A lot of my friends get waxing services. They’ve recommended me several times but I never took the time to try it out. This may sound silly, but I have prepared myself for the worse today (pain and being nervous) and I left Pure Escape Resort with regret of not trying this out earlier! Michele did an exceptional job and I can’t wait to come back to her! Not only the pain was minimal but the facility in general is so relaxing, comforting and clean! Oh! And the lovely lake view is beautiful. Can’t wait to go in for a massage and facial next :)

I have had a couple of massages here and Have always been pleased. Very professional and meticulous massage therapists. I especially enjoyed my massage with Charla today. She is very good at what she does, communicative, relaxing, and adds special touches like a cool eyepatch and a warm beaded pad for your neck. I do believe it is the best massage I’ve had in a long time. I definitely recommend her. 😀

I went here for a Wax - only my second time getting one. The first one was at another place in Charlotte and after going here, I know the difference in good and bad! Michele was AMAZING - nice, informative and made me feel super comfortable. The spa was welcoming, super clean and a very relaxing atmosphere. If I could give 10 stars to Michele and her spa, I would. I won’t be going anywhere else ever again!

Michelle was absolutely nothing but amazing, she made me feel very comfortable with the process of the facial chemical peel 🥰 The cleansing of my face she provided outside of the chemical peel was definitely worth it my face looks and feels very clean !! I felt so good about the overall experience that Michelle provided me with that we scheduled again for next month to keep up my skin care.

I have been going to Michele for chemical peels for over 15 years. She has completely transformed my skin. I had large pores and a lot of sun damage, which you would not believe if you saw my skin today. I recently had a Nano peel and all I can say is... WOW! I have gone to this establishment for a massage twice, once was a prenatal massage and both times have been the best experience. My prenatal massage was with Olivia and I rebooked with her because she did such a great job. Im 8 months and one week pregnant and she gave me the boost I needed to finish out my third trimester. I went here for a chemical peel which was the worst!!! Not a piece of skin peeled and I spent a little over $200.00. I MUST SAY THAT THE AMBIANCE IS RELAXING! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. I used to go to a Med Spa for facials until a friend told me to try Pure Escape. They are wonderful! My skin is accessed at every visit (been going for 1 1/2 years) and my chemical peel is adjusted each time. Incredible results! I also love the extras that are included at no cost - hands and feet are moisturized and put in warm mitts, a cooling eye mask is used to reduce my puffy eyelids, and each facial is followed by a neck and shoulder massage.

The scheduling process was a nightmare. They dont have a receptionist, so you have to leave a message. Be ready for a game of phone tag. My family member was scheduled. Then a couple days later we received a voice-mail that the therapist wouldnt be working that day, and we need to reschedule. That resulted in another game of phone tag. In the process of rescheduling, there was some miscommunication and misunderstandings. Instead of preserving the relationship and investing in my business, the owner Michelle disconnected the call. I was so surprised, I called back and got her voice-mail. When she called me back I answered the call and she said, We didnt get disconnected. I hung up on you.I chose not to reschedule the appointment for my family member.

Scheduling nightmare. After over a month of phone tag to make an appointment, I arrive on the day of my scheduled appointment and they tell me they forgot to save my appointment in the system and that I need to.come back another day. As if our lives arent busy enough, how can a place that is supposed to be relaxing cause so much stress?
