I absolutely recommend Thai Massage & Spa Retreat! Lee was amazing! One of the best massages I’ve ever had. Perfect pressure! I moved here four days ago from Santa Barbara and was incredibly stiff & sore - she relieved all my tension, tightness and helped me relax. I already booked another appointment for 2 weeks. Very affordable, clean and professional.I give them 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was me and my husbands 13 anniversary and we throughly enjoyed are services. We had got a hour couples Massage and a hour in the jacuzzi. The massages was excellent and the jacuzzi was clean u got green tea and chocolate the whole experiment was lovely we will be back! Thanks for making are day wonderful!!

Tremendous Thai massage. The Thai masseurs were very strong and they know what they are doing. Well trained strong hard preasure point massage. Also they were super friendly.Peaceful interior, beautiful decor and very relaxing atmosphere!!

My husband and I spent a relaxing 90 minutes at Magic Massage Spa Retreat, and he and I we were very pleased with the therapists that accommodated us. Especially with the fact that I am 26 weeks pregnant and the prenatal massage was just what I needed. I appreciate the therapist asking where I need the most attention. I can say the overall experience was romantic and comforting. I would certainly go again!

Couples massage was the best experience Ive ever had!! Tried to go to massage envy and they were extremely unprofessional. We called magic massage spa retreat and got an appointment immediately in the couples room. The energy and environment was absolutely incredible. Felt relaxed right as we walked into the room. The massage therapists were so amazing, Ive never had such a great massage before. Im pregnant and she did such an incredible job listening to my muscles and helping me release tension. I feel like I was drooling a bit and almost fell asleep!! I felt at peace that entire appointment. I was extremely impressed and will continue to go here for my massages! I highly recommend!!!!

$280 for 1 hour of massage and 1 hour in the jacuzzi for a couple might seem reasonable at first, but not when the “massage” consists only of rubbing oil on your body. We came in expecting a deep tissue massage but came out very underwhelmed. Additionally, there’s nothing special about the jacuzzi.

The Thai Massage I requested was the worst one I’ve ever had. I feel worse than I did going in. Asked the therapist to apply more pressure and it felt like she was just rubbing my back. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! I’ve enjoyed some great Thai massages over the past 9 months of traveling and this place is not it. Save your money and your time. Look elsewhere.

My massage was amazing. I’m not sure of the ladies name, but wow, she was fantastic. She massaged my temples, and neck, and it felt amazing. The place is beautiful inside. Highly recommend

I had a massage for 90 minutes, it seemed to me that they were just massaging me to spend this time. It was not bad, but it seemed that I would like to be asked about my condition and about my feeling of massage

This has to be my favorite massage spot in Sac! Cathy did an absolutely amazing job, especially with the amount of pressure she applied. She was very perceptive and skilled.

This was the first Thai massage I’ve experienced. It was one of the most incredible massages ever. Had my doubts since I like oil and deep tissue. Having the scrub like garb on was actually very nice. The lady actually hit spots I didn’t know existed and she actually did some contortionist moves while on my back. The pressure was perfect. The stretching perfect. Total bliss. Will definitely go back!

I would recommend Magic Massage to anybody. Walking in it looks very simple, but its VERY clean. The staff is very respectful and nice. There are no shoes allowed past the lobby which is awesome. They instruct you to go to the changing room and offer lockers for your things. The robes are very warm and clean. The rooms are very relaxing and soothing. The staff knows exactly how much is too much. The best massage Ive ever had in my life. I will definately return. The price is very reasonable for the service you get. They also have a complimentary steam room. Amazing spa!!

Got a gift certificate for this place for Christmas and I’m super happy to have found a great massage place here in Sac! Super relaxing, love the vibes in the place. Really helped with my tension and general relaxation. Will definitely come back!

**DONT HONOR GIFT CARDS** I had been given a gift card to Thai Massage Spa Retreat only to find out they wont honor their issued gift cards - claiming its a third party they use and they cant get ahold of them until tomorrow. After scheduling, driving, paying for parking and waiting for 15 minutes while the receptionist tried to figure out why their gift cards dont come up in their system I had to leave because they wanted to charge me for a massage rather than accept their own gift card. Imagine being ready to get a massage and instead of figuring out their own operating issue, they make you wait and tell you that youll have to come back another time or pay for the service. In my opinion very poor customer service. I wont bother trying to re-schedule.

In town as visitor. I booked based on the reviews below. As a UK qualified massage therapist myself I can highly recommend! Having a health questionnaire is a good indicator to professionalism. Good, friendly, warm service, relaxing atmosphere. My 1 hour tai oil massage was excellent. Showers and lockers available.

My husband and I were in Sacramento for a marriage retreat and I found this spa on Google. So glad I did because it was nothing less than amazing! We didn’t have the traditional Thai massage, but instead had a Thai Combo Table massage with stretching...so good! The location was clean and inviting; and the therapists were wonderful! Come experience this...!!!

Let me start by letting you know that I use to work here, now, let me tell you that the people who work here are extremely talented, hard working people. When I need a massage this is always the first place I think of. Dao, the owner, takes her time to ensure everything in the spa is beautiful, comfortable and clean for her clients. The staff is highly skilled and take their time to ensure every massage is a good massage, plus they supply warm towels during the massage, which many places would charge extra for.

Wow, this is a great place. I walked in with no appt because my lower back was hurting. I was lucky enough to be seen right away. The massage therapist was knowledgeable and did a great job. I felt so much better after just 30 minutes. The price was great. Thanks!

This establishment was clean and they were nice but the massage we received wasnt a traditional Thai massage. The massage we received was pretty gentle. Were used to a tougher massage with more stretching.

Very welcoming staff, way to make reservations, the jacuzzi was wonderful. The whole atmosphere is relaxing. I liked that the therapist arent chatty, so you can let go of your worries.

I felt so relaxed I looked comatose! Me and my newlywed husband went here on our honeymoon for the couples massage and jacuzzi. The staff was amazing and skilled! The jacuzzi water was filled to high with the scalding water, but I felt great after the massage!

I sent my wife and mother in law here. They fit them in on the same day we called and they both said that it was by far the best massage and experience they have ever had! They are both pretty picky and have had a lot of massages so it was a huge compliment!

Pricing is very good and therapists listen to your needs! Went for the couples thai massage, will come again! Great location in sac and walking distance from very good food places.

When you first walk in, you take off your shoes and socks and are given a pair of nail-salon flimsy slippers to wear. There is a locker room to change into a robe, but there are no stalls and the door does not lock so there can be awkward moments with strangers. Then you are directed to whatever service you selected. The Oh Baby package includes a 2 hour body massage (1 hr back, 1hr legs and feet) and a 40 min facial. There is no asking about pressure, so you have to tell the masseuse if it is too hard. The massage was a bit more painful than most but knots were un-knotted. Also, masseuse left excess oil on the body so beware, though there is a shower in the locker room and towels as well but use at your own risk. Facial included 10-mins steam that can be a bit suffocating but you can decline. The staff are pleasant and ambiance is calming, though walls are thin. Located in a building with other offices and customers will need to be buzzed in, just need to call from the intercom outside. Overall pleasant (slightly painful) experience but not sure if it will worth the price.. They take credit card and tips can be made on card as well.

Called on a Monday morning and was able to get in immediately. If you want a high end spa experience, this is not it as it is your run of the mill space. However, if you want a Great massage, this is it. Very professional and highly recommend.

Landed in Sacramento yesterday from N.J. at 3 pm having gotten up at 4 am to make the flight. Have a red eye back tonight at 11:30. This might be the best massage I have ever had and that’s quite a few. Totally saved me!!! THANK YOU!!!

Grabbed a gift certificate for someone here and I have to say this place is beautiful on the inside- it is exactly what anyone could want in a message center as far as atmosphere is concerned.

If your sensitive to laundry soap and dryer fragrances go elsewhereI work very hard, body is in a lot of pain and so when I pay for a massage I do not want my face buried in head ache causing fake fragrancesAlso my therapist seemed put out and not really into my appointment so much so I am mentioningI’m not dumb and I’m not paying for a toxic experience both with chemical fragrance and attitudeAt the price there charging I would think essential oils are deserved

Hands down my favorite place in Sac for message and Thai message. Its just like the ones Ive gotten in Thailand!! FYI the women are Thai so dont expect them to be very Amercianized... There customer service is good and Its clean and worth going!! Thai message is great!!

Super impressed with my Swedish massage from Borwon. Seemed a little different than a traditional Swedish but deeper and working more of what needed to be worked out. Highly recommend for the price!

Refused service due to a skin condition that is in no way contagious. No contraindications between the condition and getting a massage. They just did not want to do it. Not the place to go to if you want to feel comfortable or welcome.

Had an appointment for mothers day for my mom at 730 and they ask if i can come in ealry but i couldnt and then said $40 for half hour and its $55 for one hour, ridiculous. First experience with spa and it sucks already. Dont waste a drive there
