I love it here! I had a pedicure done with my mom by Jade and Tiara, both of them did a great job and were great company. I regularly get my dip manicure done by Kortney and she is the sweetest and does such great work. The atmosphere is open and relaxing. I can’t recommend highly enough!

Jade did a phenomenal job on my hair. Brought my natural waves back to life and made me feel better after a long bout of postpartum depression. I will be back! The salon is so cute and it’s a vibe. The things you can buy are so unique. Stuff you can’t find anywhere else in the area. It’s beautiful and everyone is so welcoming there. Highly recommend

I had the pleasure of receiving a 60 minute full body massage with Madison! She is very knowledgeable and thorough. I felt immediate relief after my massage and will be back to see her! Highly recommend!!

If I could give zero I would. From the moment we stepped in for manicures and pedicures it was pure chaos. They do not have normal massage chairs, which is fine but they use a bowl for your feet to soak then wash you with the same dirty water. The entire salon seemed very dirty and just disorganized. My gel manicure lasted a day and a half. There was no prep work of the cuticles or shaping of the nails or anything. For paying 100$ for a mani and pedi I would expect it to last. The tech was rushed and did not seem to care at all. I will NEVER go here again. Horrible experience

Serenity is so lucky to have Anyssa! She takes time to get to know her clients and listens for what they want. She is very knowledgeable and friendly! I learn something new each time I have a visit with her and it feels like hanging out with a good friend! I have received beautiful lash extensions every appointment and the facials are not only *HEAVENLY* but leave me with glowing, smooth skin! Can’t wait for my next appointment! 🤩

The salon seemed really nice, and the nail technician was so sweet. However, she went over the cuticles in multiple spots, and the polish is uneven. Its already started peeling after 5 days.

Got nails done for a wedding, they literally bubbled up the next day. When I called and let them know their polish was defective, they replied they know about the issue and have been getting rid of some… so keep charging people $60 for a pedicure that bubbles up in 12 hours with defective polish. Oh my. They offered to redo them - doesn’t help when the wedding was out of town and we left already.

Extremely disappointed!! Went there for a set of nails while on vacation because current nails were overdue. Technician took over 2 HOURS for a simple powder dip. Finished nails had many flaws, and I started having them chip and break off within a day and a half!! Didnt complain, as I was headed back home from my vacation. I would never go back and would not recommend them. Or at least that same nail technician.

I had the pleasure of having sierra do my hair today she did absolutely amazing I natrually have thick curly brown hair and she transformed my hair into a beautiful head of highlights and I couldn’t be happier with the results if you are scared of getting your hair dyed definitely go see sierra her communication is amazing and she got me the results I wanted !!! 🩷

First time experience- Wonderful! I booked a 15 min sauna session, great customer service, the staff set a relaxing, peaceful atmosphere in a beautiful room.The sauna was clean and comfortable. The exact minweek recharge I needed !

I scheduled online for a shellac manicure. When I got there and saw the selection of polish, it is not the CND brand but knock offs for $35 dollars. The polish started to chip after 2 days. I expect for the price for my polish to last more then 2 days. When I called to cancel my upcoming appointment and asked if I wanted to reschedule I explained my polish did not last and was told good luck finding a place. Did not offer to make it right.

Ive been to serenity 3 times now and plan to go back. Ive had a haircut, facial, massage, manicure, and pedicure. All the staff has been great while Ive been there. They are getting 4 stars instead of 5 because once I went for a prenatal massage because I was under the impression they had a special pillow or table, they did not and I was on my side the whole time with my arms falling asleep. Another time the nail tech cancelled and they didnt tell me until I got there, which was a little inconvenient and I had to come back to get my pedicure.

I wouldnt recommend a deep tissue massage. There was barley any pressure, my shoulders felt the same when I left as they did when I went in. Definitely, waste of money... Very disappointed.

I have had many services here and always leave happy. I get monthly facials with Anyssa. She is fantastic. So relaxing! I recommend the bellanina facial. Very happy with nails by T and massage by Syvanna as well.

Facial was ok. Massage was not worth the money. She did not work on the areas that I requested and massage that was part of the facial was better.

Hillary is wonderful! She has done my nails and my lashes and is fabulous! Highly recommend :)

Got eyelash extensions here & they were cute but began falling out rapidly the second i got home, no exaggeration. no i didn’t rub or wet them, i’ve never experienced that before.

I am very disappointed by my visit here. i booked two appointments, one for me and one for my mom for her birthday. my service was fine, in fact i really enjoyed it. my moms however did not go nearly as planned. earlier in the day i got a call asking to switch the service we booked to another similar service. i agreed with the understanding that the service we changed it to would be of similar technique and price to the only previously booked. when we arrived, i was taken back into my service but my mom was left to wait for more than 20 minutes without any communication as to when her service would begin. when she was finally taken back, she was asked to go upstairs to a different room, already an inconvenience because she cannot climb stairs well and there are no accessibility options offered. the service provider did not seem to want to do the service that we had agreed on earlier in the day. my mom ended up receiving a 30 minute foot massage which was nothing close to the hour long service i had originally booked. when it came time to check out, i noticed my bill was higher than expected but we were in a rush to get to our other birthday plans so i did not take time to question it. once i got a chance to crunch the numbers, i realized that i was over charged for the service that i had originally booked. i had scheduled a 60 minute standard serenity facial and a Gx99 lymphatic treatment. when they called to switch appointments we changed the Gx99 treatment to a manual lymphatic treatment and then that service got changed again to a 30 minute foot massage which the receptionist verbally told us would be $40. somehow, my $65 facial was up charged to $80 which after looking at their menu i have found out was because i was upgraded to a deep cleansing facial. no one informed me that my service was upgraded nor that it would cost more than the service i booked initially. like i said before, i really enjoyed my service, but not letting the client know that they will be charged more than expected is really shady business practice. i’m not made of money and i feel like i was scammed. i was just trying to do something nice for my mom for her birthday and have ended up with more of a headache to deal with

This spa is absolutely gorgeous and provides many excellent services!!! I adore the shabby-chic decorating style. Everywhere you look you see something different to admire and its a fun place to simply put your eyes on, in addition to the fantastic hair, skin, nail and body treatments! I have not partaken of all the services offered at Serenity Spa but I sure do intend to attempt to try them all! I especially appreciate the full-body massages offered by Jen and I love to spend 90 minutes of pure relaxing bliss under her capable hands. Ive had a mani-pedi with gel nails that turned still look fantastic after 3 weeks. My husband and I have had two couples massages in their couples massage room which again is decorated beautifully! They offer gift certificates that make for a perfect gift-giving idea. Their prices are very reasonable and the service is absolutely fantastic! You have to see this place to believe it and I think its a bit of a hidden gem in Saginaw.

I am giving a 2 star review for a couple of reasons. I have been here multiple times and the staff has always been friendly, helpful, accommodating and they always shown me very relaxing experience. Which really disappoints me that I need to write this review.One bad experience is changing my normally 5 star review to 2. I have had massages, facials, ionic foot detox, and infrared sauna a few times and have been incredible experiences. Especially my most recent massage I had. However, I recently scheduled a spa mani/pedi and it was horrible. I went to get this done to prepare for a family wedding I had. I had to go home and remove my nail polish on my fingers and redo them myself because it looked so bad. I wish I would have taken a picture of those but I was in such a rush from the tech taking forever and messing up my nails and having to redo a few fingers a couple times. She put 4-5 coats of a sheer polish on my finger nails. I had to suggest adding white to my toes so we didn’t go through the disaster we had with my fingernails. She kept touching my nails before they were dry so I suggested using the fan to help them dry. She seemed very inexperienced because she was asking the other tech how to complete the spa mani. She also did not converse with me at all. It was very awkward.I feel bad because it’s clear she was pretty new (at least I’d hope so) but with a spa I believe there should be a standard to uphold. I think your techs need to go through a vetting process before they get hired. I would not have tipped her for her services, however, she was hovering near the checkout desk I felt bad and gave her at least about 10%. I will not be back to Emily for a mani pedi for sure!

Can’t recommend Silvana enough! I booked a massage with her for the first time and I will definitely be back soon. She is very experienced in massage therapy and mindfulness, creates a therapeutic space for you to relax and recharge in, and has such a kind energy. Can’t wait to come back!

My fiancé and I had an appointment for a couples massage today, and I was a little nervous since I had never had a massage before. We walked in and were promptly shown to a comfortable seating area to fill out a little paperwork. I simply cannot begin to say enough good things about Becky B. She told me she was new to the salon, but she definitely knew what she was doing. She was so kind and her voice and touch were so soothing. I had goose bumps and found myself drooling at one point because I was so relaxed! I knew I had to make sure I got her name so I could schedule another appointment in the future. She’s the best!

Had my first massage with Dakota and it was amazing. Totally recommend her and Serenity. I will definitely be coming back. Awesome atmosphere as well.

It was so beautiful inside! This was the 1st time I have ever visited & it was my sisters 1st pedicure. There were 2 sweet younger girls that provided the pedicure services. Had a great convo and they made us feel very comfortable. Old school set up for pedicures, I loved it so much!

Becky did an amazing job on my Ultimate Stress Relief massage. She told me I was her first one (as she had just started a few days prior). She was so kind and genuine. Always telling me what she was doing or using and its purpose. Made me feel super comfortable. My facial from Beanna/Brenna (Im bad with names at times...my apologies...she said she was the youngest employee there)...she was very educational about my facial needs and helped me with some product recommendations per request. :)

After I waited 25 minutes past my appointment time, I received the worse haircut in my life. Everything that I asked not to be done to my hair was done. Ashley totally ignored my requests. I gave a tip but solely because its the holiday season. I do not recommend this stylist.

Anyssa is great! She is very knowledgeable on which products are best and techniques to apply.

I go here mainly for massages. Very clean, calm and all around nice atmosphere. My favorite is their hot stone massage. I can always get an appointment without an issue, unless it’s a big holiday like valentines or sweetest day; don’t expect to get in for your basic massage, but that’s ok and understandable. When I can’t get in, it’s hard to even go anywhere else because their massage therapists are so good. I can’t wait to go back. I have back and hip issues after having my children and I always feel 10x better after being worked on.

I had a great massage today with Alicia! My stress was melted away. Very relaxing, therapeutic, and professional. I already booked my next appointment!

I miss this salon so much. I went here for months to get my hair cut with Jayme. Then I moved and have had a hard time finding anyone I like just as much. There are so many other great services offered and I never got the chance to try them all, but this is the place to go if you want a great experience. Fresh coffee and water are always available for customers. The space is clean, open, and nicely decorated. Staff were always great. Did a couples massage here for Valentines Day and it was a great experience.

I have been going to Serenity for years. Excellent service and they are very personable. My treat to myself is going there and just having a wonderful conversation with staff and weather Im getting my hair done or a massage , pedicure, manicure. I always leave feeling Refreshed. My appointment get pushed back because the client before me wanted to add a service. I was not informed until I get there so there is a unexpected 30-40 min waiting time. After I get my service I noticed not all of my hair was removed so I reached out the to spa via email asking for a solution. As for today I have not hear back from them and I will not go there again.

A few weeks ago I got my hair highlighted and even though my hair took a long time but it still turned out good I’m definitely going back for a nail appointment next Saturday the employees are so nice love it definitely recommending it

I love serenity spa! I get my shellac pedi’s here all the time. I have for the past 5 months. So sad my favorite pedicurist isn’t there anymore but I still receive a great service! I got my boyfriend their gladiator package for sweetest day and he loved it! We also received couple’s massages and we loved that service as well! Always clean, professional, on time and lovely.

Ive been going to Serenity for at least 12 years. In fact, I was just there yesterday. I love it. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Its a very warm and inviting atmosphere. Ive received manicures and various massages here over the year. They always do a terrific job on my services. Tabitha is my personal favorite massage therapist. Its amazing how she can read my body and knows exactly what to do. I would recommend any of their services for all types of occasions. They also have a reiki services that Im looking forward to trying in the future. Late evening hours during the week for your convenience. Ive been to numerous spas in the Saginaw, Great Lakes Bay region and this is by far my favorite.

I have been going to Serenity Spa for several years now. I was a bit intimidated at first because I thought it might be too pricey or pretentious, but I have found that it is neither. I have no idea if other salons do this, but Serenity charges are based on the skill level of the stylist. I pay slightly more to get a senior level stylist, and it is worth every penny. I get a great haircut that is so well done, I can wash it and go without having to fight with styling it myself. When I recently needed a pedicure, i shopped around and discovered that Serenity charges less than a lot of the smaller salons in town. I am very satisfied with Serenity. The staff is friendly and accomodating, and the gal that runs the front desk is a hoot.

*Updated to add*My 5 star review still stands! Saturday 7 of us enjoyed a spa day at Serenity. Overall we all had a great time hanging out, enjoying each others company and getting a bit of pampering on the side. For the day I chose to have a massage, facial, and pedicure, I was a first timer for each. Dave performed my massage and did a fantastic job, he left me relaxed and prepared for my facial with Jennifer. The facial was over the top, I was beyond relaxed and mostly asleep by the time Jennifer was finished. Jennifer also performed my pedicure, my nails look great and my piggies feel nice and soft. Overall my only complaint is it felt like the day flew by lol.*Original*Our appointment is not until Saturday so this review is strictly based on the party coordinator Sarah! We are hosting a party for our friend who is getting married in June, we have 7 in our group, all with different schedules and obligations so we didnt have a date pinned down untill last minute. Sarah went above and beyond to accommodate our group with the wedding date fast approaching. She has been courteous, professional, and polite, even when faced with last minute changes and additions! If our experience at the spa is anything like my experience with Sarah I know we will be pleased.

I recently went in and enjoyed, sent them in additional business when the new client arrived, they were closing due to the weather, they did not have any amount of professional courtesy to call him ahead of time, they rudely said ...you can call tomorrow and reschedule. You just lost 2 massage clients and the other one I was going to send in because of your lack of unprofessional conduct and courtesy.

If I could give no stars I would. I went for a pedicure and from the moment I got there the girl(Casey or cassy )was not welcoming. The pedicure was awful . First she only let me do my feet soak for only literally 7 seconds. Then she did not do the hot towel or massage. She didn’t get any of the skin off my feet because my feet didn’t soak long enough. Finally she didn’t even paint my toes well. The paint wasn’t even on my nails completely. Then she was like your all set and I was to get up without letting them dry at all. Or assist with the drying either. The whole thing took 20minutes that was supposed to take an hour. NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!! Worst $50 ever spent

Today was my first time coming to this Spa which was recommended by a friend that she had a great experience. Well the message was great. But when it come down to the pedicure the young lady did a horrible job. I previously had shellac on my toes I had to tell her. I set my appointment up to have a nice relaxing day and it turned out stressful and unsatisfied. Instead of the young lady trying to ask my I will never return or recommend only to go there. Also the Spa had more flies then people.

It was my first visit to Serenity and it made my day. My stylist was excellent. I had my hair highlighted, cut and styled. I would highly recommend the salon. My hair turned out so nice Im going back again in August.

Workers were wonderful. However, my nail broke the day after I got them done. In addition, I had multiple chips only a few days after getting them, and I was not doing anything vigorous. For the price they charge , I was hoping for better quality.

Hubby and I had couples massages! Was so romantic, the atmosphere was beautiful and very charming. The therapists were wonderful!!!! We had the hot rocks massage will definitely go back!!!!! Highly recommended for anyone! Nice date night! :)

After being stuck at home for several months due to COVID-19 I made an appointment at Serenity for a long overdue haircut. Prior to COVID-19 I had a hairstyle that I had not changed for years. Katherine suggested I try something new. I was reluctant but trusted that she knew what she was doing. After she cut my hair I was pleasantly surprised to see that she was absolutely correct. I needed a new style. I have received several compliments...Thank you Katherine. I love Serenity❤️

Would not recommend this spa. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter to receive a Serenity Spa manicure with shellac. Look up on the website what that is supposed to include. Never did any cuticle oils, nothing. Color. That is it. Also a Serenity Spa pedicure. Cold water, no work done on problem areas that were pointed out to the person doing the pedicure. Had to redo pedi at home. Owner was drinking wine. Only good thing was that she wasnt charged for the services ordered.

Just returned from my first time @ Serenity Salon. Im impressed. This is, honestly, the very first time Ive gotten a cut, color and style without rushing home to try and fix it. Tricia Thiel did an excellent consult and my hair has NEVER looked this good. I want to dress up and go somewhere! Thank you Tricia. Ive already booked my next appointment.Decor was amazing and everyone was great!

I love going to Serenity to get my hair cut and colored. I havent been there in over a year, because Id been living downstate, but when I did I had Sandy and she is amazing. Its nice when a hairstylist remembers you and asks you about your life, is able to chat while they work, and doesnt talk your ear off about all of their personal problems. Sandy was great with that! Now that Im back in town Ill be making another appointment!A cut, color, and style will run you about $90.

Serenity Serenity. I don’t even know where to start this has never happened to me. I got a rude massage therapist with an attitude. Who doesn’t give a good massage. I’m freezing. I had to stop the massage. What’s worst is that this was my daughters and I first massage together. The massage therapist ruined it. I’m so upset. I alway speak so good about this salon. I have been coming here for about 10 years. I’m now questioning all the Christmas gift cards I got from this salon ughh I’m so upset. I know it hard to find good customer service but man something is not right. This is absolutely crazy. I’m just laying here watching my daughter finish up her massage I can’t believe this I waited all day for this. My daughter didn’t even know about it until I pulled up to the salon and told her. Wow I am just so in disbelief.

I just had my facial done. This is my first time visit. My server Cristine was really good. But I was not happy with the behavior pf receiptionist- my appointment was at 11:00 . I had to wait until 11:35. When I rechecked with receiptionist she was not good to me. And after the facial my server told me something about my skin care product- when I rechecked with the receptionist she just said she did not know what I was talking about. She was kind of rude. I chose this salon by reading the review from google- but I did not like it overall.

I come here to get massages. Christina is my usual massage therapist. She is phenomenal. Ive had many massages at many different locations around here and around the country. I highly recommend her and this location.

I recently was in an accident where I lost my right hand and I can’t do my makeup. I scheduled an appointment to get it done for my engagement photos. The makeup artist never showed up to her job, and they had me wait saying she was coming. Even said I had the wrong time to give their person more time. I had to pull out my email and text to let them know they were lying to me. I will never return.

Awesome experience! I had a Stress Relief Massage session with Tabitha Hunt, and she was very pleasant and knew just what to do without me guiding her. Will definitely ask for her again

It was great! I treated my sister and I to facials and we both enjoyed it. They were able to put us in the same room and made sure we were comfortable. It was so calming I went to sleep.

I have been looking for a place since Ive moved back home from FL that would be my permanent wax place. I got a wax recently and they used hard wax. Not sure if that was the issue, but I ended up with ingrown hairs. I have heard about vagacials, and ended up looking them up. Serenity popped up and they were the lowest priced and also an actual establishment, not someone working out of their house. I set up an appointment with Renee. When I came in everyone was very nice and welcoming. Rene was prompt and explained the whole process to me letting me know what I can expect. Renee took her time, gave me advice and opinions, and also Im coming back for my next brazilian to Serenity as they use Nufree wax which is way better for your skin than other waxes. Im so glad my first vagacial experience went so well, and even without any issues, I will be coming back to Renee regularly as a regular wellness routine for myself.

My hair stylist was Kathrine. It was my first time here and I’m sorry but I’m never coming back. From the beginning my appointment was all off I asked for barley an inch off and she cut off nearly 6-8 my hair is so short I hate it. I also stated I hated layers and she decided it was a good idea to give them to me. My hair nearly sat in the bleach for 30 minuets or less and not even half my hair is blonde. Kathrine told me it would take too long to dye my whole head for a balayage so she decided to part my hair in half and only die the top half. I asked for more blonde pieces in the front and I didn’t get that either. The appointment was barley 1.5 hours when I have so much hair honestly it should have been almost 3. She sped through the whole process she clearly just wanted to go home. At the end of the appointment paying with card they have to ask if you wanted to leave a tip and embarrassed I decided to leave $10 because I didn’t know what to say I cried in my car for .5 hours and again the next two days now I have to go somewhere else to fix the horrible mess on my head.

I’ve gone to serenity a few times in the past and have always been happy with them. However I got my mom a gift certificate for Mother’s Day a couple years ago, my dad had some serious health issues causing him to be in and out of the hospital and between that and Covid my mom wasn’t able to get in to use it until now. Well she took the gift certificate out it had expired. She called and the lady she talked to didn’t seem to care and told her she was out the money. Not only am I mad that I’m out this money, I also thought it was a law that gift certificates couldn’t expire? My mom had a pretty rough couple years and really deserves to use this, it’s too bad that they didn’t seem to have compassion for that. And ripped me off my money on top of it.

I got my haircut there— a big chop!— by Haylee! Everyone was super nice and she listened to what I wanted and gave me a great haircut!My only complaint is that I was scheduled with Renee at 2 pm and when I got there, they told me they had moved it. They didn’t call me to tell me she was no longer available, I had a limited time window. I was grateful that Haylee was able to do it at 2pm, but I really would have liked if they had communicated with me BEFORE I showed up ten minutes early for my apt.

Yesterday was my first time going to Serenity Spa and I must say I’m NOT happy with my results I got a pedicure with shellac polish which was an additional 15 dollars... just to wake up today with 2 of my toes already peeling , safe to say I’ll be returning toMeijer for my pedicures..

Went in to have long nails done- girl did not know how to do rounded nails - clipped nails clear back into the quick. Left with sore fingers and no nails!! Plus only received partial service of what I had booked for. Do not recommend

I love going to Serenity Spa and Salon. It is my first choice for any spa treatments in the Tri-City area. The decor is adorable and all of the staff is extremely friendly. I cant help but feel relaxed whenever Im there!

Went twice and still dont have the streaks I wanted. Drove from Detroit 3 times and spent over $250. Staff was very pleasant and the site is very clean and neat but not very happy with my hair.

I had a massage with Brooke and she did such a great job. So relaxing and made sure you were always comfortable.

In my fiancé’s word since she went “staff was very friendly and professional, I just didn’t receive everything that was mentioned in the massage on their online website. Prenatal massage mentioned feet and legs and they weren’t even touched.

Beautiful, relaxing ambiance, nice and quiet spa!! Multiple massage rooms and enough space for multiple couples massages along with even couples facials. Head to toe relaxation. Also offering lashes by many artists and soon to offer microblading!

Serenity is a great place for any of your salon needs. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is very relaxing. I go there regularly. It is a bit more costly, but is worth it.

Started going here regularly approx 2 years ago. Kourtney is great. The rest of the staff are really friendly. I have 2 children with special needs and they think they are going to the Frozen castle to see Elsa. The girls play along and makes the visit quite an event for them

This place is amazing!!! I bought a mani, pedi and massage package for my boyfriends birthday and he loved it!!! Great service and the decor is indescribable. When I think Spa, I think calm, soothing, relaxation etc and this place has it all, in every room for every service! Definately will be back real soon.

Facial was best Ive ever had, beds were awesome! Manicure and pedicure were ok, not many color options and the spa pedicure was less luxurious then a cheap one at the strip mall.

Clean and friendly! The decor is great and I felt very welcomed, even with my somewhat chaotic 2 y/o in tow. I just needed my sides shaved up and blended and the price was very fair.

Absolutely wonderful. They know exactly what you want and give it to you for a good price. Ive received cuts and colors there and have never been disappointed. Many of my friends and family now go there and we all love it!

New client switched my stylist the day of my appointment without consulting me Tiana was fortunately great I made another appointment with her several text and messages regarding changing my appointment and stylist I was confused had to call for clarification my stylist did not wash or style my hair just a dry trim and I was charged more than the first time I will not be back
