Kathy was amazing! I went in for a prenatal massage and she left me feeling like a million bucks! Before seeing her I was having shooting pain down my leg from my sciatic nerve. After seeing her, I haven’t felt it! This location was very clean and welcoming. I cannot wait to go back!

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the services. Hanna at the front desk was very efficient and friendly. She explained the benefits of having a membership. I signed up in June and have not regretted it.

Valerie is the best. Absolutely.Before I met her, I changed therapists each time. Since Valerie I am a faithful client!

Raymond is nice and very knowledgeable. He is talkative, which is fine, but when he talks he often stops massaging. If he could talk and keep massaging at the same time, he would get 5 stars.

Unfortunately I had to cancel my membership. From what I was told membership come with a free massage each month. I have a credit from March in which I gifted to my mother. I have a credit from April in which I tried to use for May. Because I am a few days late I was told that I wasnt allowed to use any of my credit until I was bought current on my account. I was also told that if I cancelled my mother wouldnt be able to use her gift. Bringing the account current isnt the issue. Its not allowing the client to use what was already paid for. Memberships are not worth it, just pay normal fee. You are not losing of gaining anything with it. Also when I called to cancel they told me I still had to pay for May. I have not utilized any services since February in which I signed up for the membership. Its unfortunate because my first experience was a great experience.

The staff here has been very helpful and kind during this pandemic. I feel safe from the time arrive to the time I leave.My therapist Chris has been fantastic as well. Incredibly professional, always safe and his massages are heaven! I also really appreciate that he gives me feedback after my massage, if theres anything he feels something will help me maintain in between appointments.

Self-care is very important and getting massages here is one of the best forms of self-care. The team here is great! They are amazing and treat you like family. I love getting massages here. The atmosphere here is amazing and so comfortable. There was a time that I didnt like the lighting in there causing headaches, and they adjusted it based on my review, I was blown away! So thankful!

My husband and I both joined the membership plan and often requested and received Dana…who is excellent by the way! However, this membership is NOT a deal and NOT easy to cancel. My husband is a Dr and had difficulty making his monthly massages. His missed months were banked but came with a price! If he wanted to give one of his missed massages to other family members it took a month to schedule and then as additional $10.00 a pop. Also when he realized he was banking too many he tried to cancel but that also took a month as well as a written request to camel his membership. In the mean time if they didnt get the written request the months kept getting charged and massages stock piling up. Finally the membership was cancelled and we thought the Banked massages previously paid for were still his…however, they come with stipulations too…like this one must be used in one months time etc. in very small print in the cancellation notice received by email. Long story short we lost several massages previously ours …only if used on their time table...and paid for gone! They have too many rules and loop holes to feel you are getting what you paid for and not to feel you are jumping thru their hoops not to be ripped off. Too complicated to be a relaxing wonderful massage relationship! If you join and bank massages they should be yours no matter what! We do NOT recommend this membership!

Massage Envy is a great deal and a great business anyway, but this location is second to none. I can almost always get in relatively last minute and know Ill still get a good massage, and if Im willing to book in advance, they have tenured therapists with incredible experience who can help with even my worst deep tissue issues.Also... Im SO STOKED for this location to become a spa!! Last time I went in, the treatment room I was in was converted for spa use already so Im hoping any time now!The front desk staff is FANTASTIC. Once youve been going regularly for a bit, its pretty much like Cheers, but with a great cross section of St. Louis instead of... well lets face it, a bunch of aging white guys.The front desk staff are always helpful, incredibly polite, and most are very well versed in the modalities and styles of each of the therapists, so anything youre looking for, they can make an intelligent recommendation and Im almost never disappointed! There were one or two big personalities at the front desk a couple years back and theyve since moved on... every person behind that counter these days is sweet as punch and superbly professional. I have no idea what theyre hiring secret is, but theyre doing something seriously right, front to back.I love Massage Envy in general, but this place has spoiled me badly enough that - even though Ive since moved - I at least once a month drive the hour into the city, passing probably 5 competitors and 4 other M.E. locations to get there.Dont care.Theyre the best.Thats that.🙌

I had a 60 minute massage today and had an amazing massage by Dawn. She is friendly, easy to talk to and she has a great, firm touch, what I needed. I talked to her for the beginning half of my massage because Im a talkative person but halfway the massage, I was in great relaxation and didnt talk anymore. The location is clean and at a great location.

Great massages! However, I missed a 90 minute massage and the receptionist said Id have to still put my credits toward the missed appointment. I canceled my membership and have not had any such problems at Massage Luxe you also get to use their hydrobed unlimited with your membership.. a little added bonus. Will not be back.

Very skilled massage therapists and a warm, competent staff capable of matching you to a therapist who fits your needs. Just explain what you want/prefer, and theyll find the right fit. I go weekly and have been very impressed with both my regular therapists skills and the 4 others I have seen at various times.When you visit, a record is kept of your preferences (table warmth, preferred support pillows, room temp, etc.) and your problem areas, if youre working on a particular issue. Things will be set up for you before you arrive. For women, its especially helpful that they have breast pillows and other accommodations to ensure you can relax fully - just tell your therapist about anything that feels off and he or she will make it right.Overall, its an impressive place - soothing, meticulously clean, private and respectful.Prices are high but fairly typical for massages in the region, and though membership gives you reduced rates you cannot bulk buy at a discount - the only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars. It would be great to have a few promotional opportunities a year to buy packages of massages at a lower rate (currently theres only 1x per year - around January - when incentives are offered).Please note: This review applies only to the Maplewood location. I have been to other Massage Envys in the St. Louis region and been far less impressed.

Quick, efficient front desk staff that are warm and welcoming. This location has excellent facilities with a streamlined setup. Beth, my massage therapist, did a wonderful job helping me with a few nagging sore spots and old sports injuries. Would recommend, especially for the $50 trial rate for a one hour massage!

Membership is awesome - lots of high quality massage therapists here. Membership comes with a contract and they explain how it works to you, or you can read what you sign. If you dont plan on using massages regularly though, then you should not sign up. I use them regularly for chronic pain and its a blessing.

I am a member here great place. I always ask for Donna she listens and is very very friendly. She knows her stuff lol. The atmosphere when u are getting a massage is very calm. Low lighting and soothing music playing in background. This can put u to sleep when u r relaxed. The ladies at the desk are also very friendly. I am a lifetime member. Its only $60 for massage if u r a member. You will have to pay $90 if ur not. U can get a massage how many times a month u want. I always get once a month cuz the job I do doesnt strain ur body as much.

Massage all depends on the therapist you get and how well they match your style preference. It can take months to find the right one for you but dont let the sour reviews spoil you. Everyone has to start somewhere and Massage Envy allows a lot of graduates to get real world experience. Sometimes that means that they dont give the same massage a seasoned pro will give. But sometimes it also means they will know techniques and tricks others may not.Take the time to learn what you like in a therapist. What kind of massage you want. Then ask them for that type of therapist and youll likey find the right match or matches within a couple of sessions.At this particular location I see one therapist who has great technique and has been doing massage for over 10 years. Theyre not all recent graduates.If youre stuck on their experience go to a private practice instead. If you want to find the right person without committing to a certain person come here.

Great customer service! I was trying to get massages for out of town guests, then had to reschedule the time and the number. They were great. Looking forward to our Friday night appt.!

The massages...they are good. But the prices they are way to high. And I dont know whats happening from their leadership but you walk in the front door of this place and its like an attack of them trying to upsell you the membership. And I noticed the people who already had the membership...they were trying to upsell them other stuff too. Ill take a massage, hold the extreme sales pitch.

This location is clean, beautiful, peaceful, comfortable, and safe. The staff is warm and knowledgeable. I became a member after my first massage. They are fabulous!

This is not a place to come if you want a quality massage . You come here because its cheap and what you get is someone who just rubs you all over and has absolutely no concept of what a massage is truly about . I dont know why I signed up for a membership; I keep trying new people and no one knows how to give a massage. They ask you if theres anything specific you would like to have worked on and then they dont. I even had 1 guy continue to work out a muscle kink when I told him its been there for years and no 1 has ever gotten rid of it so you can stop trying...but he did not until I asked second time because it was really annoying me that he wouldnt give up. The last guy kept fluttering the sheets which was chilling me and felt like they were gonna fly off the table any moment and I would be exposed. I have been to the Webster store and Maplewood store to 4 different massage therapist and I have to say Im totally totally disappointed. This thing really is you get what you pay 4 in these people are directly out of school and I seriously doubt they attended a reputable massage therapy school. Its a factory there and the therapists are not in it for you.

I have spent a couple hundred dollars there, not including tips. I dragged myself in one Saturday morning. At 10 a.m. I was already tired from my errands.I stopped in to see if there had been any cancellations that day. The woman behind the desk had blond bangs cut completely straight across her forehead, halfway down. She smiled at me as if I was an imbecile and told me there had been no cancellations.There was no effort to take down my number had it been someone was a no-show for the day. There was no offer to make an appointment for me the following Monday or Tuesday to take care of what was wrong.I guess that she forgot I was there to spend my hard-earned money. Later in the day, I called back. Someone else answered and treated me as if I was brain damaged.Again, no offer to take down my number or make an appointment for later in the week.I have since started going to Heritage Salon further south. Their employees have been trained to remember that you are there to spend money and not to be insulting.

Theyve yet 2 call me back about my $ Ive already spent, & cant use, even though I didnt stop payments during COVID now I dont have the $ to stay current & I cant use what Ive got & theres a Massage Lux right across the street.

I called to set a appt for a massage due to the ad I saw online $39.00 1 hour introductory massage and when I called the lady answered and was rude to me and tried to say it was for anthor office when in fact the picture was to there office. Dont go there because they were rude. The whole purpose to get a massage was to be relaxed and she was far from helpful

Absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere is phenomenal and massage by Kalidha (sorry if misspelled) was perfect. I left feeling like I was floating, I was so relaxed.

Company is bad. Dee is quite rude. Its especially bad form to tell people that you have the ability to do something but choose not to.

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM!!! They will be nice on the 1st visit to get you to sign up for a year, then it will be all down hill from there. A lot of the front end employees at this location are not that bright & very condescending. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. NOT WORTH A YEAR OF THIS.

I never feel like the massages here are great, just ok. But I had to use the rest of the gift card I had. It feels like the fast food version of a massage.

The front desk is always so welcoming and helpful. Without me asking, they took the initiative to call and tell me about an opening and got me in. My therapist is always awesome too!

I was in a bad car accident and hurt my neck, came here regularly for a couple months and the master masseuse helped my neck feel much better. Also cookies, hot tea, and free wifi.
