Ive been going to this place a for a long time off and on over the years. Not only because all their stuff is reasonably priced, but also because theyre always chill af. But the other day Dustin really helped me and my bro find exactly what we needed for a great price too even though we were just pains. Its perfect, better than what I was looking for! I just wanted to say thank you so much for all your help Dustin!!

One of the best shops Ive been to and I have definitely been to a handful. Not only do they have a rewards program but they also have some of the coolest/chillest people working here. Which is every shop, but this one has unbeatable vibes. Also, one of the few places I can buy a box of rellos and not break my bank. If youre looking for somewhere with a LOT of products, this is your place.

This is the greatest smoke shop in the st.louis area prices are super reasonable and Michele customer service is unmatched if your in the area stop in and get all your smoke shop needs met. Been coming here for years never once disappointed.

I rly loved coughing cardinal but today i bought a pair of sweatpants, i was driving home and saw they have a large hole in them, it hadnt even been 15 min since i bought the item & i was refused a return or exchange ): upsetting service and quality probably wont be back any time soon / again and this really was my favorite smoke shop. ill take the long drive to the shop ovr going here now i guess. huge disappointment honestly )))):

Coughing Cardinal has always been my favorite spot but today I was truly blown away! I’m going on a trip and needed to get a cheap pipe. I explained this to OT and he grabbed a tray and offered me one for free! It was such a thoughtful gesture; one of which certainly deserves a review. Thank you, OT.I must also mention their customer is always the best and so is their selection! So awesome having this place in the county!

This place is the jackpot. They have the best prices on everything. Very nice people. Chill vibe. I came in a while ago and had an issue with my pen coil burning out after maybe 2 months. The guy just swapped it for me no questions asked. It was just one of the cheaper pens. But I appreciated the gesture very much. If you need a water pipe...you need to see this place !

I purchased a Left Coast beaker from Coughing Cardinal in Slyme Green and it has a unique color for the bowl piece and label. It was shipped to me within a week and when I received it, everything was in pristine condition, well packaged and safe from any breaking, however, the bowl piece was not the correct color. It was not the original that was pictured on their website, so I reached out to Coughing Cardinals customer service team and was met with a response from Barty within a few hours.I emailed their team offering to ship the incorrect bowl piece back and was hoping they could ship me the original. Barty responded to me personally and provided me with exceptional service. He was quick to respond and genuinely cared about the mistake. He asked that I ship the incorrect bowl back to them and offered to ship me the original bowl and an extra one for the inconvenience, a very kind thing to do. Barty, you deserve a raise.It was refreshing to be met with sincerity and goodwill in an age where most customer service reps are robots that send you in circles on the phone or never respond to your emails. I will definitely recommend this site to anyone looking to buy any paraphernalia, because it is clear that Coughing Cardinal will be on top of your order and make sure you are satisfied.

This is my favourite business in the STL area. I literally go way out of my way to do business here, a 40-mile round trip. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. There is always an affordable selection of products and new arrivals. I’m happy to come here a couple of times a week. I’ve gotten free apparel on birthdays and during special promotions, free products to try at my leisure, and plenty of little perks here and there. If you’re looking for a spot with fantastic variety, great prices and helpful/knowledgeable staff, Coughing Cardinal is the place to go!

A random employee kicked me out of the store because I said the word “kief” on accident in a 1 on 1 conversation with him, no warnings or anything. He appeared to be undergoing a massive power trip or something, as when I tried to apologize he didn’t hear a single word I said and proceeded to kick me out. Very bizarre experience, highly unpleasant.

The store has lots of vape options but they have an employee that needs to go or change his attitude. The guy is short and rude every time I’ve been in there. He doesn’t seem to know about the different liquids and what vape they are for, he doesn’t like helping you or questions, he isn’t personable, and he doesn’t make you want to buy anything.I’d definitely consider having a talk with this guy.

I cant say enough about this place, I have been going there for over 5 years, and here are the 2 biggest things that set them above all others. First, their quality and quantity of selection, from glass, to vape supplies, to herbal supplements, these guys carry it all, and at great prices! And secondly, what I think matters more is the knowledge & excellent, friendly, and smart customer service everyone there has to offer. If you have a question, they WILL have an answer, and point you in the right direction, showing you a wide variety of products. When you add the amazing quality selection of items AND the employees that work there, there is no better in STL! Ill stop rambling, Coughing Cardinal is just the best, except nothing less!!!

Disregard the 1 star reviews - I love this store; its my new favorite smoke shop. Those guys who didnt like the staff just need to be more direct and communicate with them. They cant read your mind and wont care unless you engage them properly. Ask specific questions. Breathe positivity.Anyway, I couldnt find coils anywhere at a good price without ordering online, unless I waited a month+ for shipping. Most places dont specialize in vape kit maintenance (parts/repair/whatever), or are head shops that are way out of date. These guys have it all, for less (mostly).Also, I needed a heavy duty vape device, but wasnt sure what I needed. They explained everything and set me up with what I have been needing. Basically this store helped me save a lot of money; I wish I had found it sooner. Theres anything smoke/vape related that you could possibly need at a good price. The staff knows what they are talking about and actually care. I highly recommend them.

Came into the shop with a few questions, and was immediately greeted by the store owner and a few employees. The owner/manager, Lynn, made me feel welcome and comfortable. He explained many different aspects of his wide range of products, and I left there that day as a life-time customer. 10/10 would reccomend

Great range of products in all shapes, sizes, and price ranges, helped my friend get set up with her first vape mod & even did a demo/training lesson so she didnt leave with more questions than answers. Dont shop anywhere else, THIS IS IT!

Dickie was the one who sold me my pax and water pipe and was super, super helpful. Still use both of them, and has consistently been super helpful every time I walk in. The last time I was in, chowder and bates helped me get a detox kit and were extremely reassuring and positive when it came to me testing clean. And most recently, Barty helped me get a new charger, glass bat, and again, super helpful. Everyone here knows exactly what they’re talking about, and you’ll never get a better deal at a place like sunshine daydream, or any shop or nearly as great service. I’ll be going here always.

I went into the store with no idea with what I exactly needed. The employees were very polite and understanding. Once I explained what I was hoping to do, they knew exactly what I was looking for. Paige then showed me all of the options I was able to choose from and gave me a good amount of info on each of the products. Some of the best service Ive had.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I went to purchase a few things, including a new vape pen, a grinder, etc.. Well, my friend from Colorado was in town and she wanted a few souvenirs as well. So even though the store isnt terribly close to where I live, we made the trip. My visitor apparently asked the employees an odd question???!!!? at which point they refused to sell me anything??!!?? I was both shocked and embarrassed and didnt really understand what happened at the time. Looking back, Im offended and frustrated!! They are SO OVERPRICED to begin with so they wont see another dime from me.

Bart is always rocking at customer service. He has a welcoming personality, always is helpful every time my family and/or I are in, and cares about taking care of his customers as if they’re clients. Always appreciated! Other staff is great too- Bart always goes above and beyond, being the reason for this review.

I came in here for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Barty was an extremely great help. He was patient and answered all my questions. After my experience with him, I knew that I would be coming back, at least to receive more of his service. I got a 510 thread mini battery and I loved it, but the button was sticky. I was not told anything otherwise, so I assumed I’d be able to bring it back in and pay the difference for a more expensive one. I went in today and was told that all sales were final. That’s one thing, but even the receipts don’t have that stated. Barty also did not say anything despite him knowing it was our first time in. No hate tho, Barty. I might come in again, but I will be weary of what I buy and probably look online first before I would come into Coughing Cardinal.

This smoke shop is by far the best in St. Louis! the staff, are so friendly, helpful, and knowledgable unlike some of the other smoke shops I’ve been to. especially dickey! they have several incredible glass pieces and I always end up leaving with something. their prices are great too! please don’t hesitate to come here rather than other smoke shops in stl, this is by far the best one and you won’t have a better experience at any of the others.

Wow what an experience! As I wandered into a beautiful little shop, I was greeted immediately by some of the most friendly, outgoing, and beautiful human beings I’ve had the pleasure of coming into contact with in the last few months. I was helped by an employee, I believe his name was Burns. And my god, what an amazing dude. I walked in and wanted to spend a certain amount of money on a water pipe that I had been looking at the last few weeks, and Burns, not only was knowledgeable, but I could tell he put himself in my shoes for a moment and actually helped me get a different water pipe that was better quality and exceeded my expectations. Wow what a genuine dude. I wanna give a huge thanks to Burns, and the shops team as a whole, and I’ll make sure to send any of my friends or family to your shop, thanks!

The shop itself was very nice and well organized with everything priced a little taxed but thats expected. They have cheap china and they have high end glass that will run you thousands. The reason i left the store without giving them my business is i was browsing the store and overheard one of the workers talking about snorting Xanax, and how excited he was to get messed up. That is unprofessional and could potentially be harmful to the store. Store was 5 stars, workers half a star.

The people here are not only amazingly nice, they are extremely helpful. I had car troubles after a purchase, and Chowder came out to give my car a jump. This place is the best, and I always love going in.

Maybe for hookah supplies or China glass theyre a good store. For customer service, no. I expressed my opinion its no longer as good of a store as it was and as a result was told not to shop there. Ive spent thousands at the store in the past because of their great service, thats now the opposite. In regards to concentrate accessories they have no idea what theyre talking about. Ive been sold the wrong thing. I bought a 200$ nail and the guy looked at me like why waste your money we have 30$ China ones. People like that shouldnt work there, makes the industry look bad. I have an opinion, the store has gone down in quality, I expressed that and as a result lynn pretty much told me not to shop there. I was spoken to rudely and all of it is on camera, yet Im sure the store owner wont care. I regret supporting the store for so many years. Go elsewhere for any product for concentrates or tobacco. Hey you might be treated rude too but at least they know what theyre talking about. Screw the coughing cardinal.

Randomly found this sight to buy a surprise gift and was initially impressed with the selection and prices were more than fair. The site is very easy to navigate and very user friendly. But what was better than all of that was the customer service I received, specifically from Fino! I had to change where my order was being shipped and called their number. They were way courteous and took care of the changes for me with no hassle, whatsoever. They were also extremely quick with their responses via email as well. Alot of places can sell you the same thing but what makes me come back to a vendor is their customer service and The Coughing Cardinal rocks in this department! Thanks again!

I just visited this store on Saturday, December 9th at 6 P.M. The main thing I came for of course was out of stock. I was checking out a few other accessories and was extremely dissapointed with the selection.. nothing has changed in months. After trying to figure out the size for an item on your shelf, which the employee had no idea, I asked about your return and exchange policy. When I was told you dont accept even store credit or exchanges, it made me wonder what quality of products are actually sold here... If someone has an issue with an item they cant even do anything about it, the money just goes down the drain. The older lady who was doing her best to help me, even though she didnt know what she was talking about, explained the policy well enough. But then the guy with the dreads had to get involved and literally started yelling at me.. to the point where I had to say look man I get it, please stop and he continued to go off on me. Was very displeased with the way I was spoken to just for asking questions... I just walked out of the store.

Excellent variety of pieces at decent prices. Great selection of incense, oils, vape, accessories, shirts, and the other head shop staples. Very friendly and helpful staff that were able to answer any questions I had. I wont be going anywhere else in the St. Louis area for my smoke shopping.

Walked in yesterday and no one would wait on me. I didnt know who to ask( because you cant tell the employees from the customer) I finally figure out who the employees are, and one is talking and laughing with some customers the whole time i was in there( never did see them buy anything). The only other employee that i saw working was helping other customers, that came in after me. I dont need this grief. Ill just order off the internet,Its cheaper anyway, but sometimes I like to see and ask questions about the items I want to purchase.

They have a nice selection of cigars. I stop in every once in awhile and get a stogie. Bates is always quick to help me pick out the best cigar. I’m always greeted my big smile and friendly hellos. But Bates is my man. I suggest if you stop in to buy a cigar ask for him.

I very much enjoy Coughing Cardinal for their crazy big variety of shisha. I actually havent been anywhere else with even a fraction of the selection that they have. If you talk to Lynn or any of the other super awesome staff, usually if they dont have something and they can get it for you they will.Excellent place, for glass and other stuff as well.

Never had a problem there before but they hired new employees that seem like they dont know anything about Their products Also the new employees lacked good customer service skills! But before the new employees were hired they where amazing!👍Hopefully the new employees will be trained better. Love the store but they need to step up there game with their customers service skills! Therefore they do have nice products;but dont count on the employees to know there stuff!

This guy for the 3rd time ive been in there has showcased poor body language. Lack of willingness to help and the entire staff talks in corners ignoring customers. Then when an inconvenience comes up on the stores end im asked to take that penalty too. Garbage youve lost at least 4 or 5 customers to this .

I was attended right away by Green who was very polite and attentive! He got down to eactly what I wanted and gave me very great options!! Been coming to the cardinal for years and have never left un-happy! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

If you do not particularly like going to head shops then this is a good one for you because they make you feel very comfortable and are very friendly. They also have a good selection of kratom, especially extracts if that is your thing.

This is my favorite shop! I don’t go anywhere else. If they’re closed, I’m waiting until they’re open. They have incredibly friendly and helpful staff, competitive prices, and the latest products. Previn has been helping me the last couple of times I’ve come in, with both excellent advice and superb deals. Would highly recommend.

I gave 2 stars because they’re a good business , and they have good products ! I called to see if they had any information on their voicemail about when they would possibly be open again , because last timeI was there they was supposed to shut down due to the virus . To my surprise they answered the phone and was doing curbside pickup only today . The guy working told me if I wanted something to be there by 6pm because they close today and not going to be open for awhile , they never once said they were only accepting debit or credit cards only at this time. So I drove a hour and fifteen minutes there because they’re the only ones who sell the brand of Kratom I use just to find out they don’t accept cash at this time because of handling procedures due to the virus going around ...but plot twist....they will walk up to your car window in your face , and take your card run it then hand it back to you then hand you the product you ordered , but they don’t handle cash or do change at this time ....Ok at this point it doesn’t make a bit of sense to me , but my money spends anywhere . I always spend from $80-$200 each time I go and usually go once to twice a week sometimes more. The last time I went it was curbside pickup then , and cash wasn’t issue. I guess the only good outcome of this is I found out after searching online I can buy it for about $35 cheaper so thanks for that I guess it definitely takes the sting out of driving almost 3 hours for nothing !

Just like all the other reviewers, nothing but positive things to report about Coughing Cardinal. Made two trips out to this location so far and both have been nothing but excellent.My first trip was for hookah shisha. Starbuzz 100g tins started at $5.95 so I bought 2 and got two free samples of a different brand.Staff was genuinely friendly and in a good mood to be at work even though it was 7PM on a Friday. Patient and answered my questions, got me things to look at, etc.Couldnt be happier with this shop in the area.

Went for a “beginner” vape mod, after 30 yrs of smoking cigs. Treated me well, and the kid working there knew his stuff (Morgan). Wasn’t pushy or trying to up-sell. Set me up with what I was looking for. Not a typical strip mall shop. They have anything you need, for any type of smoking. Floor inventory is impressive. Will def be back there!!

This place is a joke, I had a guy help me find a downstem he explained it was the correct size and offered to take it up front while I shopped once I paid he had wraps it in newspaper and I thought all was well until I got into my car and looked at it it was way to big to fit a slide. I walked back inside and was told I couldnt bring the stem back into the store rudely and all sales are final which is fine. The staff (or the hipster kid with the shaved side hair) needs to make sure there showing the customers the right items and are educated on the sizing of the slide/attachments Im out 20$ with no stem very disappointing.. Ive been going here for a while now since it opened, but i will not be coming back everything is overpriced they want 150 for a Ti domeless nail I found the exact same one online for 25$ Stupid. Maybe I should of known the size to begin with but thats why I went to a store for customer service! Very disappointing!
