This is my first time in this city and I was encouraged by the amount of coffee shops.I visited two before discovering this treasure.I’m glad I followed my instinct.Normally I post a photo of my fresh coffee; I got lost in my cappuccino being so well crafted.Exceptional menu: teas, bowls, stuffed flatbreads, and smoothies are crave worthy.Moon Mountain is a sanctuary of intellect and warmth thanks to its extraordinary staff.

I ate my breakfast sandwich way too fast, but the food was great. The cinnamon roll was phenomenal. We had two iced latte with caramel and oat milk and the service was superb. We really enjoyed ourselves and it beat Starbucks across the street by a long mile. They also offered a pup cup to our sweet pup and he loved it!

Nice location downtown with a lot of variety - coffees to beers to kava. I had a hot latte and was underwhelmed. I would rate it as a mediocre Starbucks latte. The great ratings are from reviews where people get 20% off their next purchase.

Such a cool concept. All the drinks on this menu are super unique and they have every flavor you could think of or your drinks. Im a huge lavender fan so I was happy to see that on the menu. I ordered their strawberry and rose botanical iced tea and added a splash of lavender and it was really refreshing. If theres one thing you have to get if you come here, is the cinnamon roll... AMAZING ! Staff was super friendly too. This will be my go to coffee location in DTSP

HIGHest quality kratom, the filtration system here is really advanced and you can tell with every sip. Erin and Abria give the best suggestions, never steered me wrong! They’ve suggested ways to order Bula, Extracts and Tea drinks and I’ve loved all of them. Always feel at home here when they are behind the bar — the staff are the best part and that’s what keeps people coming back. Cherry on top is Erin and Abria keep the store absolutely spotless, it is such a beautiful place to sit.

Its probably a great place if youve never had kava or kratom before. But if you have any experience with kava bar hoping, this probably isnt your vibe. They serve alcohol and the environment is a little sterile. The drinks are taking a long time and were the only ones in here. With their kratom extract, they dont know how many MG are in each shot. They dont know what kind of kava theyre serving. The vibe I get is more like Starbucks and less like your traditional kava bar. Its not for me, but it might be good for you. 2 teas, a latte, and a shell was $46.

Coffee was delicious and service was friendly. The place has a cool, upbeat atmosphere and serves a nice selection of beer and wine. Staff was friendly and helpful and its a great location.

My new favorite coffee shop! The staff is so welcoming, and the service is impeccable. This is just what downtown St. Pete needed! There are so many delicious unique drinks! I can’t wait to go back and try something new. Best chai latte I’ve ever had! Highly recommend!!

This is my first time being here or even hearing about this place. Popped in on a whim and was greeted with happy employees who made me feel welcomed into the store. Offered suggestions and helped every step of my Kratom journey. Erin and Reilly were super amazing! Will be back. Will be speaking about this place :)

This is a lovely spot if you’re lucky enough to have Erin or the owner working; they’re super kind and informative! I’ve been back twice, but each time there was a different girl who was quite frankly rude and didn’t know what she was talking about. On the 2 for 1 Kratom deal on Monday, she didn’t even know the deal existed and I had to point to the board and explain to to her. The other employee was also unhelpful and standoffish, bumbling with their answers and settling on you have to buy a 24oz drink for the other one to be free. It isn’t simply like other places where you can get a large for a half off, and she originally rung me up for two? drinks at full price ($35) before fixing it to $18 when I noticed. I only wanted one double, and this was NOT how the deal was explained on my first visit. They seemed pained and confused so I saved them the trouble by walking out. Note to self, if you ever open a new business be careful about who you hire and how you train them. It’s a shame because my first visit was so great; Erin is amazing!

Incredible experience! I have tried coffee all over Saint Pete and I have finally found THE BEST coffee. I’ve had the chilled shaken espresso twice now and it is perfection every time! The taste and quality does not compare to anyone. Sarah informed us of all the different options for milk and customizations. I will not get coffee anywhere else. The vibes and drinks are immaculate! They even have a military discount. I am now a loyal customer!

The location opened earlier this month and I’ve been waiting to come in and check it out. I was actually heading toward Starbucks when I remembered Moon Mountain had just opened across the street from Starbucks. The vibe is comfortable and inviting. Everyone is chill and truly proud of the service they provide. My coffee was PERFECT and the staff were sure to check in with me to make sure it was made correctly. I LOVE this place. #LookOutStarbucks

Such a fun vibe! We were on our way to Starbucks and noticed Moon Mountain. We decided to stop here instead and are glad we did! The vibe, staff, and multitude of products were amazing! 100/10 would recommend to anyone wanting delicious coffee and treats! #teammoonmountain

I’ve been to places that make great coffee, and I’ve been to places that make great tea. This is one of the rare places that makes BOTH fantastic coffee and tea. Very cool ambiance right in the heart of Downtown St. Petersburg. There’s often hundreds of people walking by outside, so it’s great for people watching. For me, it’s my little oasis where I go to read, study, or just kibbutz with the other customers (almost universally friendly). The icing on the cake for me is how well I’m always treated, and that’s because they have the best manager of any food or beverage establishment I’ve ever known, Erin. She’s made me feel like her most valued customer from the first time I came here. I’m including a photo of Erin with me, and as long as she’s the manager here, this will be the premier coffee shop in St. Petersburg.

Love the ambiance and the botanical teas are excellent! Got myself the Botanical Lemonade and I enjoy the herbal and refreshing taste. Really nice place to sit back and chill :)

We stopped in before a concert next door at Jannus on a Friday evening. The coffee was good and they have also have craft beers on tap. The staff was super friendly and attentive, going out of their way to assist with the weird outside bathroom. I would absolutely recommend this place for the staff and excellent music played inside.

What an excellent addition to “the Block” this place has been. Whether it’s for a strong, well steeped coffee to get me through my shift, a perfectly portioned snack or smoothie to add some fuel to the fire, or an amazing selection of THC drinks to help me relax and unwind when I’m off duty…this place has it all.The entire staff is very engaging and patient, never cutting corners (you’ll never receive a half warm breakfast sandwich!). They also have an extra special gem of a person working for them in Erin. I swear she can pick anybody’s rough day up with her smile, small talk, and a true genuineness about all of it. The world needs more of that these days!Anyways, keep up the amazing product and vibes you guys have there. You’ll definitely keep getting lots of business from myself and the staff at Saigon Blonde.

I work from home and was looking for a change of scenery while I had a big project to work on. I tried a couple of the popular coffee places but kept ending up back at Moon Mountain. It’s the vibe. It’s chill. People are cool. The coffee, tea, wine, etc is good and it’s comfortable. Def my top coffee shop.

Stopped here for a coffee before a show, and it was sooo delicious! And they have sooo much more to offer. Do yourself a favor and budget some time to stop in next time you get a chance!

I’ve known Erin for years now and she’s been through so many jobs but this one in particular she excels at in every way possible. She has nothing but great things to say about the establishment and I’ve never seen her more in her element. I personally am a huge fan of this place, I have nothing but good things to say. Everything from the atmosphere and service to the drinks are incredible!

Perfect place to hang out before or after the Saturday morning market, since it’s right across the street. They were so nice, we asked if they were playing the Champions League soccer game and they said that if we wanted to see it, they would put it on every tv for us!! Incredibly welcoming staff, great atmosphere, and delicious food/drinks. Highly recommend this place!!

We often frequent Kava/Kratom bars but also occasionally drink, we have been to the Brandon and St Pete Moon Mountain. We love the atmosphere, options of both alcohol and non alcoholic drinks. Plus right next to the action in St Pete. This is place is great!

Super fun vibes for a kava bar - great spot to go before a show, especially if you don’t drink alcohol like meee! Service was great, a super nice tender named Erin helped me pick a good snack and got me a tea super quick. Really grateful for her advice and for the nice conversation we held :) the rest of the team seems knowledgeable and accommodating, too. Will definitely go back.

First time I got anything here but second time I was in. I wanted to try the Earl Grey lavender tea. I had it ice but I will definitely have it hot next time.My only item of improve is maybe more choices for breakfast. I know they just opened but that is a thought.The environment was lovely. I had a 11:00 appointment across the street to look at apartments and I was really early so I was able to sit there and do some reading with music playing at the right volume.I will definitely be back.

Very much a cozy chill spot that’d you want to spend all day and night in. Staff is amazing and makes you feel welcomed, drinks are incredible, and the vibe is totally something you’d want to be apart of. There’s really no other place like it.

Moon Mountain DTSP is one of my favorite places to come. They explain everything very well, very clean, very friendly, and a chill environment. This is the second location I have been too and they both are great places to come!

Love this place! Its my new regular spot and I cant speak more highly about it and the wonderful people that work here. Especially Abria and Donny, who always make sure that my Frozen Hot Chocolates are perfection.

This place is awesome. Great people. I got a cold brew and it was excellent. I can’t wait to come back. My son got a chocolate chip cookie and loved it. My wife got the cold brew afterburner and loved it.

I’ve been coming here since opening and everything has only gotten better. The tea is great, the treats are homemade and the açaí bowls are amazing. Erin and Abria are so kind and personable, it’s always a great experience every time I visit here. They’re open late also which is perfect for my schedule. Highly recommended!

Been going to the local kava bars in st Pete for 10 years, moon mountain is great! Awesome place to relax catch the views of downtown out the big storefront windows. Erin and brea are welcoming and very knowledgeable about everything moon mountain has to offer! Love it here!

Drinks were decent, manager (I think her name was Erin) was really offputting. When I walked in, she was playing around on her phone and took a while to notice me. She was clearly doing something important because afterwards she seemed really distracted. After I ordered she went right back to her phone. She eventually pawned my order off to one of her employees, that had no idea how to make my drink. At that point she moved on from her phone and was chatting with a customer at the bar. I used to work in a bar so it was very clear what was going on. My drink was wrong, and when i mentioned that maybe she shouldve been offering guidance to her subordinate rather than being on her phone and chatting. After that she gave me a major attitude. Definitely will not be coming back.

One of the friendliest spots in the city. Always so welcoming. The unique menu of kratom mocktails are amazing not to mention the frozen ones. Prices very reasonabl for downtown with food specials. Rapidly becoming one of our favorite places as there really is something for everyone here.The vibe and decor are also wonderful.

First… coffee was so amazing you can literally taste the quality. I sipped so slow wishing my caramel macchiato would never end. Super clean and cute shop, you can see the love the owner has put into it. With amazing hours and the sweetest staff, will be back for sure 🙌🏻🩷

First time getting an acaí bowl and wow was it delicious, highly recommend. The ambiance is nice and quaint and very chill. The staff was very helpful and friendly, shout out Erin, Aloria and Jasmine. Kratom was great as well. Definitely coming back.

Night crew, was terrible.Worst customer service Ive ever experienced. Was having an anxiety attack, and trying to redirect it with a familiar treat.New guy, handed me the drink, and tried to quietly persuade me to enjoy what I didnt pay for bc he said they were out of the drink I ordered. I asked for a refund, and they ignored my request. I had to leave to catch an Uber and had to beg for my money back. Instead they both decided to remake the drink, I felt pressured to accept.Instead of just giving me my money back, I got treated like I was stupid for asking for what I payed for. This really hurt my feelings, and to top it off was treated like I needed to be made an example of for it. I was nothing but kind and understanding.I got handed a completely different drink, bc the new person didnt know they had what I ordered, in stock, bc their containers in the fridge were clearly, in my view, unlabeled. As well as it seems like he needed more training. He was nervous and needed guidance, and there was none to be found. Instead he ducked behind the espresso machines to avoid me.I even told them I was having anxiety when I came in, this didnt help.I just wanted my money back, instead they started making my drink wrong again, and the girl working the counter treated me like trash instead of just refunding me. The new guy didnt know how to make it, and she left him to fend for himself still unsure how to make it.As someone in the Kava/Tea tender industry, I can say this is the worst experience ever.Kava culture is about being caring to others, this was immature, and downright bad vibes.These places thrive on consistency, and kindness, those attributes of which, completely lacked there this evening.This was an awful experience for what I thought was a cool place.Made my anxiety attack peak, and left there juggling my drinks trying not to cry.Getting harassed by drunk ppl in the store. (Also weird to be at a Kava bar that sells beer, when kava and alcohol arent supposed to be consumed together, its literally dangerous)(Tea tenders poorly trained, and the cruelty I received, undeserved)I felt hustled out of my hard earned money, and treated like a peon.

Environment is really pleasant on the eyes, clean and organized. They played great music, and Erin said she made possibly the best smoothie she ever made, and she wasn’t kidding. That smoothie was HITTING!Appreciate yall! :)

Went on 3/26, late night, first time. Guy behind the counter was great and helpful. Drinks were amazing. Wifi worked well so cohld sit, relax, and get some work done on my laptop. It was also nice and peaceful inside.

Moon Mountain in downtown St Pete has the absolute best Kratom in town.The only thing better than their Kratom is their service! Erin might actually be the greatest bartender Ive ever come across, and that says a lot!I havent seen a woman work harder, smarter and for longer hours than what she does, yet somehow she manages to always maintain a friendly and welcoming smile on her face.If youre in St Pete and you appreciate good Kratom and great service, go check out Moon Mountain and talk to Erin. Literally no complaints to make about this place. Great food, drinks, visual atmosphere, the servers are really chill, and it’s literally the best place to go when you’re worn out after a show at the Jannus (which is directly connected) to cool off. GO HERE.

Simply AMAZING!!! The menus were extensive, and the drinks were made to perfection. We had a ton of questions, and the staff was over accommodating. There are plenty of coffee shops within walking distance, but none of them come close to the ambiance, products and service. DEFINITELY a downtown St. Pete hidden gem...HIGHLY recommend!

Question - why is it necessary for this place to display a so-called pride flag in its window? All I did was make an abrupt 180 and not give my money to this establishment. I mean, LGBTQ friendly? What does that mean? If they didnt advertise that, would LGBTQ+ xyz people not give them their business? What retail establishment does NOT serve whoever walks in? Ill tell you now they probably lose more customers advertising that nonsense than if they didnt. Get it out of my face...

Great coffee shop right by Jannus Live. Friendly staff, delicious coffee. They actually give you a decent amount of coffee if you order iced or cold brew- they don’t fill the entire cup with ice or give you 90% milk, like many other coffee shops do. They offer beer & wine, too. This will definitely be our new pre-concert coffee stop!

Ive been trying to find a chilled spot to visit once a week to get some work done and happen to find this spot. Music, vibe, and drink options are exactly what I was looking to find. Lily was absolutely amazing. Knowledgable, engaging and friendly early in the morning. Ill be back with friends to hang out, work and just marinate.

Just checked out Moon Mountain and I’m very happy I did. Moon Mountain is located in a perfect spot downtown and has an excellent selection in Kratom, kava, coffee and beer. Definitely adding to the kava cafe rotation!
