Great experience at Salt 7 Delray which is under new ownership. New seating outside with cozy fire-pit tables, all-new TV’s and gorgeous new tables inside are just a few of the recent upgrades. Sat outside for Happy Hour & the food was fantastic! We had CRISPY RICE, SHISHITO PEPPERS, BEEF SLIDERS, FRIES & ROASTED GARLIC SHRIMP. All were delicious!
Came here after having dinner to enjoy the night and have some drinks. Place was pretty full but we found some space at the bar. Ordered a Tequila Sunrise, Didn’t like it, didn’t taste good (tastes like cheap tequila). Server was overwhelmed with orders so we didn’t bother asking for a replacement. She was nice also so we didn’t want to be annoying. The atmosphere was cool, most people around 25yrs average I would said, not that much variety of music. It was pretty much house the whole hour we were there. It would be cool if they switch it up but that’s the crowd they’re attracting so I don’t blame them.Would I come back? Maybe. To try their food. Hopefully taste better than the drinks.
My recent visit (Jan 2, 2024) to this place with friends and family turned out to be an utterly disappointing experience, primarily due to the poor service we received.Firstly, we were seated at a table with a fireplace, which was a main attraction for us. However, to our dismay, the fire wasnt working. When we brought this to the attention of the management, we were assured that efforts were made to find propane. Yet, I find it hard to believe that none was available, considering its common availability at gas stations.Further aggravating the situation, when another table with a working fireplace became available, it was given to a new group instead of being offered to us, despite our earlier inconvenience.Additionally, the service continued to decline. I ordered a specific beer, which, as it turned out, wasnt available. However, the waitress failed to inform me of this or offer an alternative. Strikingly, it was still included in our bill. The final straw was the billing process. A mandatory 20% gratuity was added to our bill, a policy neither explained nor visible on the menu, nor were we advised about it beforehand. When inquired, the manager simply stated it as their company policy, disregarding our dissatisfaction with the service.I had been excited to share a good time at this place, especially with family visiting for the holidays. Unfortunately, the experience left me feeling embarrassed for choosing this restaurant. The lack of proper service and the managements indifference to our concerns significantly marred our experience.
Stopped here for a mid-afternoon snack and a glass of wine. They have an amazing happy hour that I discovered on Saturday and Sunday. The bartender that waited on me was named Nick and he was just wonderful. We had a great conversation and he was an excellent waiter / bartender.
The night I was there they were having what would appear to be some private parties energy level was very high with laughter and drinking. Did not have any food however the drinks were very good and the service was very quick as well. If youre of the ages of 21 to 55 youre probably fall right in line with this crowd to be able to have a few drinks and good social interaction.
Decent place for happy hour. If you can get a table. Midnight it gets a little crazy but in the evenings its usually pretty nice. Wade staff works very hard to try to make sure you get your drinks and food food. Generally pleasant experience. Sometimes the guests get a little rowdy especially the younger crowd.
Food, service, and ambience was all on point. Music was good too, later on it turns into like a club inside. We sat outside, so it was not too loud. The manager kept coming around to make sure everything was good and if we liked the food, which was very nice. I want to go back for their Sundays brunch. I hear its LIT!
The food was okay, that wasn’t the issue. The restaurant was extremely dark and the music was pretty much screaming in your ear. the lemon drop was the most disgusting watered down shot i had. the waitress was rushing the whole time while ordering and i couldn’t even order a drink and while i understand she has other people to serve, the service definitely could’ve been better. Not to mention there is only 3 things on the menu to pick from smh. Never again
My wife and I had dinner on Saturday evening for 7pm. We enjoyed our dining experience greatly!!! Our waitress Jordan was amazing and recommended some great choices as this was our 1st time here. Food was great, the outdoor dining was perfect and made this an enjoyable evening. We did have 1 issue but no fault of8 I the restaurant, but the credit card machine went down and I eventually had to go to the ATM to get cash to pay our bill. They did offer for us to fill out a credit authorization form but we didnt feel comfortable with that. However besides that great place to go to eat and hang out. This was the Las Olas location
Not sure if they survived as they were dark last night. Loved their $5.00 Expresso Martinis. The tuna stack had rice cake that were hard as rocks but the tuna was yummy. I went back last night with a date and it was closed. Monday night maybe they are dark. They do what they do and it hopefully will make it.
The service was extremely disappointing. The bartenders were rude and consistently ignored us, even though we were sitting right at the bar trying to get their attention. When it came time to pay, we wanted to start a new tab and leave a tip on the next check. However, the bartender told us to leave because we hadnt tipped, even though we werent finished. This was my third visit to the establishment under new management, and unfortunately, the service has consistently been of very poor quality. With so many other great places to visit in downtown Delray, Salt7 is not one of them.
So delicious! I had A beer cheese fondue with pretzel bread, Lamb Chop appetizer, bone in rib eye steak with roasted garlic and my son had an amazing cheeseburger! And a chocolate molten cake for dessert!! So incredible! Service could not have been better! The Sous Chef K really knows what hes doing! I cannot wait for my next meal there!!!! 😍😍😍
I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting Salt Club in Delray Beach, Florida, and it turned out to be a nightmarish ordeal that I wouldnt wish upon my worst enemy. Let me preface this by saying that Im no stranger to nightlife establishments, having frequented numerous clubs and bars across the country, but what I encountered at Salt was beyond appalling.Upon arrival, I presented my ID at the door, as is customary. To my disbelief, the bouncer took one look at it and declared it to be fake. I was dumbfounded. This wasnt just any ID; it was my legitimate, government-issued identification, which I had used countless times without any issues. Yet, the bouncer adamantly insisted that it was fake, without providing any concrete justification or offering me the chance to prove its authenticity. What followed was a humiliating spectacle as I tried to reason with the bouncer, only to be met with condescension and hostility. The sheer incompetence and lack of professionalism displayed by the staff at Salt Club were mind-boggling. Instead of handling the situation discreetly and with tact, they chose to publicly accuse me of attempting to use a fake ID, tarnishing my reputation and humiliating me in front of other patrons. To make matters worse, the management refused to intervene or rectify the situation, leaving me stranded outside the club feeling utterly humiliated and disrespected. It was a degrading experience that I wouldnt wish upon anyone. In addition to their abysmal treatment of customers, the overall atmosphere of Salt Club left much to be desired. The music was mediocre at best, the drinks were overpriced, and the crowd seemed more interested in flaunting their wealth than having a good time. It was evident that Salt Club prioritizes style over substance, caring more about appearances than creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for patrons. In conclusion, I strongly advise against visiting Salt Club in Delray Beach. Not only did they make a grave mistake in wrongly accusing me of using a fake ID, but their lack of professionalism and disrespect towards customers is unforgivable. Save yourself the humiliation and headache and steer clear of this establishment at all costs. There are plenty of other nightlife options in Delray Beach that value their customers and know how to treat them with the respect and dignity they deserve.
Steak frites are amazing and so well seasoned. The fries are cooked in duck fat and their so crispy and delicious. The ambiance was really nice. The service staff were fully attentive. The drinks are over priced and watered down. For $16 you get a tall glass of muddled fruit, club soda and a splash of vodka with simple syrup. I get the price is based on the location but I would recommend drinking somewhere else. The wine was great. As a young black Woman traveling here from out of town- I felt safe and had a great experience. I would recommend this place. We left before the nightclub really got started so I’m not sure about the diversity of the music.
It was my first time there. I had a great time. Great service. Wonderful food! Great atmosphere!! When Im back in that area I will definitely be going back!
Last night was my first night ever in Boca and Salt 7 was the bar we chose for the night. I was looking forward to a great night but quickly realized that wasn’t going to happen here. I’ve never had such a bad experience with bartenders (if you want to call them that). I ordered a casamigos shot and immediately knew it was either water or watered down bottom shelf tequila. That I paid $16 for. I asked the bartender if she was sure that was casamigos and she reassured me it was (brown hair), then turned around to another bartender (brown curly hair) and pointed at me and starting talking to her about our conversation. The curly headed girl then stormed past me and said, “that’s what happens when we have children here”… if anything it’d be the opposite... Then she proceeded to roll her eyes at me every five minutes and spread the word to the other bartenders. No one checked on me for 20 min and when I finally flagged down one of them (there were like 10 people in the bar) I asked to order another drink or food and I was completely ignored. Really unfortunate this dampened my first experience in boca. II’ll never be back to this bar. Obviously they’re more focused on hiring pretty staff and not the actual personal qualities of a good server/bartender.
Came here for my birthday brunch last year and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, last night changed my opinion on this place. With yesterday being Valentine’s Day you would think it would be busy, to my surprise the restaurant was 80% empty, but I later realized why that is after my interaction with the “hostesses” at the front. My boyfriend and I walk up and ask if there’s any availability, there was 3 girls standing there, not 1 greeted us or even cracked a smile. They all looked at us with a blank stare, almost like they didn’t even want to speak and 1 girl spoke the entire time, not sure why the other girls were just staring and looking at the iPad at the same time. The girl speaking seemed like she dislikes her job and didn’t accommodate for our table at all. Gave us a high top located DIRECTLY at the entrance when like I said, majority of the restaurant was empty. This interaction made my boyfriend and I feel very uncomfortable like we weren’t wanted there. Before wasting any of our servers time we removed ourselves and went elsewhere. So disappointing when my last experience was amazing for brunch. Hire hostesses that dress the part for the job and actually have basic interpersonal skills.
1st time here, visiting from Boston on vacation and I loved this place. I had the 10 oz. fillet mignon w/ carrots and mushrooms and my wife had the divers scallops, we washed it all down with martinis......the food was EXCELLENT!!!! Friendly staff, nice atmosphere for date nite. Highly recommend this place.
Would have rated 5 stars if it wasn’t for the lack of character of our first waitress. Michael the manager was amazing and got us new staff to take care of table. It was my best friends 45th bday so it had to be perfect, and they sure did provide us a great experience. I don’t they wanted us to leave though, because it took for ever to get our bill. One thing I have to say is that the food is delicious, I had the chicken and waffles and my best friend had the shrimp and grits and was very pleased and she is very hard to please. The food is one of the reasons why we will be back for sure . I look forward to that party they host once a month with the glow sticks!
This place use to be great but Once they got under new management, the customer service SUCKS!! The bartenders have a huge sense of entitlement! They expect big tips for poor service !!! Not to mention, they are extremely unprofessional!
This place was incredible! The atmosphere was great, Zach was the most amazing server Ive had in a long time and I was a bartender in Vegas for years. We were going to have dinner. But we showed up at the tail end of happy hour so we decided try almost one of everything on the happy hour menu. Its the best dinner Ive had in at least two years! But I was also with the best company. Thanks you guys, and thank you Zach.
The food, drinks, service, and location was great i was just sweating alot. I was not sweating because it was hot, i was sweating because after me, my wife, and my brother in law got our meals, we were swatting away flies and other flying insects the entire time. In their defense it was a rainy day.
We frequently visit and always enjoy the service, curated menu, quality drinks.Good looking space, always happening, great music and staff!
Love this place. Inventive Fun & Delicious can’t ask for more than that but it was Happy Hour so everything was $5 Martinis Wine Pomme Frites and a Beef Tenderloin slider on a pretzel roll. Truly foody heaven. Thanks for lifting my spirits are the #quarantine. Delray is way more fun than Boca Raton. Head to Atlantic Ave.
Move over RACKS, this is now my favorite place for a great burger on the Ave. Hubby loves their oysters and was very happy with the flavor. I was very surprised that I was so so pleased with this burger. It’s super flavorful and just friggin delicious. The ambience is super cute and chic. Great for date night or taking a client. We went on a Saturday during the day (like 2pm) and there was hardly anyone in here. But this looks like the kind of place that’s packed in the evening. To avoid crowds, go early. Our server was Seth. He was right on time and served us well. I’d say Salt7 is #1 on the Ave. #2 is RACKS.Hubby ordered the lamb, wasn’t too thrilled but he had a bite of my burger (not a burger guy at all) and he was impressed. Make sure you give it a try!
Absolutely atrocious venue for a private room. So loud, rude manager and GM, cheap horrible food. Guests were appalled for the prices they charge.
If you never been here, I dont recommend this place. The service was morbidly slow and it took 58 minutes for the waitress to come and take orders on what we want to eat. The food options in the menu were very limited and the food didn’t taste great for me, overall the waiters were very nice and the atmosphere is kinda cool but im not really a big fan of it..
I went last night to celebrate my birthday. Drinks were so good, and the service was top tier. It made the night truly special, they were friendly & attentive. Definitely one of the best spots I’ve been to down here and I’ll be back on my next trip. Thank you for a great night❤️
Love the vibe and the variety of food and drinks. We had a great experience for our late dinner. The crispy rice tuna was wow!!
We went to dinner with a group of people, when the evening ended we asked for a cheque for the four of us in our party, the restaurant refused to break down the bill so that each group could pay for their individual meal. I found this to be unacceptable. Won’t be back any time soon.
Shout out to Dakota, the best server! She was super sweet and personable. Gotta come out and see her! Got the Chilean sea bass and short rib. Both melt in you mouth and is absolutely amazing. 5 stars all around.
This place looks like it would be great from the outside but the inside atmosphere is really loud with everyone yelling over the loud music and it has crummy tables/chairs for a “steak” place. This place is confused— good food, small menu and lots of people who like to yell conversation. If you’re calling yourself a steak place, act like one. Couldn’t wait to leave.
Rude bartender will not be going back and drinks are overpriced go to throw social or the office. Horrible horrible customer service
If it is Tuesday head over to Salt7 for their Taco Tuesday food and drink specials. The strawberry margarita is a popular choice, but if you like it spicy try the hot italian margarita. There is also a great selection of tacos. For the vegetarian try the crispy buffalo cauliflower taco. Love fish, then youll enjoy the coconut cashew shrimp taco. Looking for a dish to share? Get the nachos. They also have a great happy hour starting at 3 pm. Get the sushi pizza and thank me later.
I’ve tried all different salts from around the world but the 7 I had here were definitely in my top ten. Having developed hypertension from these high sodium lifestyle choices I was nervous to order the Tomahawk steak, but when I tell you it was worth it the whole menu blew me away! I had a great conversation with the manager (bald guy) about his exponentially expanding family and was surprised he remembered all his kids names haha! The servers are incredibly nice and genuine people and I will be a happy returning customer for years to come. Thank you for the great experience. Best restaurant in South Florida!
Great music, and great drinks, need to try the food, but so far so good.
There is always a good atmosphere here! Good food and friendly staff, even though it is usually very busy.
I was part of the birthday party on 8/19/23 at 5pm, my first time here.1. The menu is a bit limited. I viewed the menu online so I knew what I wanted in advance. When ordering the Pork Chop it was not available at the restaurant. The menu selection was already limited and now even more so. False Advertising.2. Only one waitier assigned to the table (12ppl) making service very slow. My parents and I had to go to the bar several times to get our own drinks.3. Cannot or would not separate the check when time to pay. Causing commotion when everyone tried to sort it out manually some ppl ended up paying more then they should have. This is 2023, what restaurant cant separate checks????????Not worth the money, poor service, and extremely limited menu.
An Absolutely fantastic restaurantAmazing food. I had the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. The best steak I’ve ever had.Service was incredible, they couldn’t have been more helpful, nothing was a problemAtmosphere was great, lots of tvs to watch any sports you like, not a noisy or loud placeTotally recommend this placeI will be back
For our daughters sweet sixteen birthday we wanted something small but special. We decided to do it at Salt 7 because of the location and previous dining experience. Needless to say the event turned out terrific. Jenna Katz coordinated the entire event and helped out with every detail. Our daughter and her friends enjoyed themselves and everyone commented on how good the food was. The party was very upscale with top quality food and entertainment. Thank you Jenna for everything!
You can’t go wrong at salt7. I’m yet to eat here not during happy hour but all of their food is amazing along with their drinks & service. My favorites here are the filet sliders for sure and for drinks their watermelon martini is my favorite. The lemonade stand is also very good but too sweet in my opinion. Some other favorites are the salt7 burger or the sushi pizza. This place is also great on Wednesday night for ladies night.
Absolutely Not worth it!Service- They do not serve Hennessey..hint! Then the manager was extremely rude telling our party that our reservation was for a particular time while looking at his watch.(Our party was very respectful)No form of greeting was given just simply blurted it out in a very rude tone.Drinks- GoodFood - Lets just say group parties are more like sample food to Share! The portions are for 2 people but given to Share with 4.Not worth the cost for the portion size and flavor of the food/dessert were average.Layout: Outside views are great. Decor inside is nice but the layout questionable. The group room isnt private other guests/servers use it to access the kitchen and restrooms.Over all avoid the event space order from the regular menu to avoid leaving hungry.**Stephanie was excellent 👌**
If I could give them a zero I would. Dont know how to treat regular customers, reservations are useless at this place.
Great food, great 🍷 amazing happy hour!!
My friend and I were at salt (22 years old) and her ID was taken meanwhile 18 year old high schoolers were talking about college acceptances while in line. This place is absolutely ridiculous. Filled with underaged kids. Would not recommend.
Terrible service ,Would never return. Grossly over priced, manager did not care. No bread, 3wines out tried to pawn off Jordan Wine as $168 . Bottle. Could buy 6 bottles at retail for that price. Tomahawk rib eye $200. No bread no shrimp, no straws. No prior notice to price and to add insult to injury restaurant added $109 To bill. We will protest bill with credit card vendors . Don’t go the restaurant and could care less about the customer experience. Many many more places of higher quality and better dining experience
Came here on Sunday January 29th to celebrate my birthday. We initially made reservations received a confirmation text and all but when we arrived they could not find our reservation. We waited approximately 30-45 minutes before a server came to our table. Service was very mediocre. The food and drinks were not terrible but a bit over priced. I guess you pay for the view of the water. The reason why I will NEVER recommend anyone to come here is because I believed I was over charged. I admit I was in a hurry and did not check my itemized receipt that they hand to you on an iPad. I have been calling everyday for the most week in attempts to get an itemized bill but have been given the run around. At one point the lady who picked up the phone told me that this happens frequently we’re guest are “accidentally charged extra”. I wish I would have went somewhere else for my birthday.
Happy hour here is just okay, but overall a little disappointing. I will start with the positives - the service is great (our server was fantastic), and the outdoor patio is very nice. Also the drinks are interesting, creative, and tasty, with a nice variety of options. Now the bad - while the food is pretty good, the portion sizes are just ridiculously small. For example, this place charges $7 for pork sliders and the only give you two of the tiniest sliders you have ever seen in your life. Park Tavern, right next door, only charges $5 and they give you three sliders that are twice the size of these. The tuna tacos app only comes with two pieces, and they are so incredibly small that you could probably put both of them in your mouth at the same time. What really made us angry is that the water and soft drinks they serve here are GARBAGE. They obviously never clean their fountain guns, because every drink they serve just tastes horrible. We could not even drink their water - so we did the next logical thing, which was to ask for a bottle of water. They gave us a large bottle and tiny glasses for 4 people. The entire bottle didnt even fill up each glass once. But then the kicker, for the only drinkable water that they serve here...THEY CHARGED $11 FOR THE BOTTLE!!! That is probably the most outrageous rip-off I have ever experienced in any restaurant. This small bottle of Evian cost us more than two of their martinis....but we were forced to pay it because they dont serve any other water that is drinkable. Just based on that alone, we will never come back here again.
Nice ambience, friendly staff, mediocre food. We ordered grilled octopus starter which we thought wasn’t well-seasoned and wasn’t crispy, the sauce wasn’t that great either. Entree grilled shrimp also wasn’t well-seasoned. Its side squash was soaked in oil. We couldn’t substitute anything on the plate so we had to order creamy corn as an additional side, also soaked in oil, this one tasted better tho. The food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. Out of the 5 of us, only satisfied one was a Philly cheese sandwich order. Rest of of us thought we wouldn’t order what we ordered again as. We didn’t think it was worth the price. If we come here again, it would be for the drinks. They have a lovely outdoor space by the water.
Have only ever sat at the bar, for drinks and for meals, and the staff is always checking to see if I need anything else. They are super busy as its a popular place--only one time did I see them miss someone trying to get their attention, but I joined in and instantly the other patron was attended to. I had a drink from their new menu that wasnt to my liking, and the bartender replaced it with something else without charging me for the original drink. Very thoughtful! The food is great as well, but what really makes this location is the Sunday brunch. Can you imagine a night club at 1 p.m. on a Sunday? That is exactly what this is. Its so much fun! A definite must-see if youre in the area.
Great happy hour, ambiance and service. They have an awesome ladies night that gets really fun past 10pm. On the weekends the entire inside is full and people are dancing. The outdoor bar is wide and the service is very fast and top notch!
We spent $600 for 4 ppl at this place for dinner and were told we can stay for after party and no need for bottle service. We wanted to stay and have more drinks and after speaking with a manager, we are assured that they will accommodate and make us happy but that was just a lie to get us out. We spoke to a bottle service manager, the guy with a beard, sorry we don’t have a name, stupid of us. Never ever I will come to this place to be taken advantage of.
The atmosphere is very interesting and enjoyable, the food is often times very good, but I would say the service is hit or miss, and the drinks are almost never commensurate with the pricing; so maybe order wine or beer for at least you know what you’re getting.
We had a last minute big party for dinner and dancing. The staff was amazing, food was ok…. Our waiter took really good care of us. The manager set up our table so it was easy to go from dinner to lounge set up. Thank you salt7 team, we all had a lot of fun dancing.
Food was good. 👍🏿 Not too sure, but I think customers have to make reservations before getting there. Also, they will hold your reservation for 30min past the reservation time, and will not seat anyone until the majority of the party is there. For example, if its a party of two one person has to be there. If a party of five, I think at least three of the guests have to be there. Also, the restaurant is more on the expensive side. Also, It has a chill vibe.
Best service, best atmosphere, incredible food - what a FABULOUS dining experience. My family and I were blown away by the hospitality of restaurant manager Michael and his entire team. Hostess Bri, was the most personable, caring, engaging person!! The amount of time she spent engaging with my daughter and family made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. Zach, our server went out of his way to take care of us and recommend delicious food choices. He took the time to connect with us and was the nicest person. Aaron, new to the restaurant, was just fantastic. This was our first time here but will absolutely not be our last. We cant wait to come back to try the bottle service scene when the place turns into a club (we will leave our 4 yr old at home for that visit :)Why am I raving so much about this first-time visit to a restaurant? Because excellence in service, food quality and ambiance is rare and wonderful. We have found our new go to spot and highly recommend it to you! Try the watermelon margaita and if youre really hungry the Lobster Mac n Cheese! Compliments to the chef! Cheers to the fabulous team!
Drinks were great. The service outstanding! They had some amazing popcorn! IDK what they put in that popcorn but it was addictive! The shrimp and salad that my daughter in law shared was AWESOME! They have a great bar and restaurant set up. The staff was very attentive and happy to help at every turn 🤩 we will be back! Loved it!!
What a outstanding place to wet your whistle and enjoy the food! We were here twice once on Saturday night with a wedding party of 14 and my wife and I went back on Monday night. The service was superb both nights and the food was awesome. Saturday night we sampled(almost all of them)many happy hour entries which were all delicious and our bartender Josie was the best. What a awesome personality and hard worker. Being from the cheese state we sampled the (Wisconsin)cheese curds and they were prepared delicious. Ranked right up there with the best in the upper Midwest. The prime rib sliders and lobster Mac and Cheese rocked the house, the seafood was all super tasty. Monday night we were back and my wife had the truffle mac and cheese which was the best ever, I had the tenderloin with the black butter. It was perfectly prepared and was worth every penny. So tender and a properly marbled steak, I felt it was priced very fairly considering the area we are in. So hats off to the whole staff. We had an opportunity to meet the owner and part of the management team on Monday night, lets say very professional and super nice. Thank you for great evenings. And we look forward to going back.I am a trucking business owner and felt I needed to show praise. First review that I have wrote in years. Very impressed!!!
I really love this place, I’ve been here a few times mostly for drinks with friends. Great music, great vibe and energy. Most importantly, they pour a great drink. Last week I went with a friend to have dinner, the food was really good, the service was excellent. I rate the food 4 out of 5 stars. The atmosphere and the drink menu 5 out of 5 stars. Definitely worth stopping by when you’re in downtown Delray Beach and giving them a try!
The Brunch was good, theres bottomless Mimosa that ends at 2:30 with no last call.. well not from our server lol . The food was good. We went for the party- like Brunch scene, unfortunately, its only done on the last Sunday of each month.. so the other Sundays seems to be fairly quiet, if thats what you like.
Reservations was at 9 pm we waited almost 30 minutes to be seated. They were available seats in the restaurant . So we asked why were we waiting so long and they said because they needed to coordinate our seating to ensure there was enough serves in the section. That should have been looked at before not right then and there . I requested for a round of drinks for myself and my friends to accommodate us and for the inconvenience which they did without hesitation. When we sat down I asked the waiter which drink was better I believe a black margarita and dragon berry something. He said both were popular. Midway finishing the dragon berry and tasted like diluted water. So I complained and he answered “ya I get that a lot” . So what was the purpose of asking and if you get that a lot advise customers. There was a lady there performing who seems like she only cared about her pictures . She did not engage the crowd at all. She went to two tables did a trick and left. Perhaps she was taking pictures for portfolio and not really supposed to be entertainment . Not sure . The food was okay. The salmon was great however everything else wasn’t to die for but Okay. The ambiance outside was beautiful but this isn’t the it factor for me.
We come to this part of Florida every fall to bring our family down for the winter. We managed to park and walk to dinner where we were informed that their credit card machine was down and they were only accepting cash, which I fortunately had with me.David, our waiter was friendly and informative. Our order was taken cocktails arrived and our salads didnt as they were sent to another table. When they finally arrived the beet salad was OK, the mixed green salad was large but over dressed.I had a burger which was good. The duck fat fries were nothing special which was disappointing. My wife had the snapper as recommended which was dry and inedible. They offered to bring her something else which we declined because it was already late. They offered a round of drinks, which we declined for the same reason. In the end, they did not charge for that entree which was the right thing to do.In summary, friendly staff, well located in town, sub par service, attentive management, poorly prepared food.
We had a Sunday brunch reservation for outside , the Hostess said she doesn’t see a note so she was sitting us inside , although outside was availability for the hole time we where there !She was rude , very careless, felt like she is doing a favor to us !Food was good the server was really nice but she was drowning by herself with all the table’s.Out of the 4 restrooms 3 was out of order .Very over priced for what they’re offering!! Never come back !
Salt7 closed in Delray. Its open in Ft Lauderdale
I went there about a week ago with a few of my girlfriends and we had an amazing time. Our Waitress Gia was Uber accommodating and super sweet, she was also extremely patient with us. The food and drinks were very tasty and the presentation was impeccable👌. Great vibes👍…We will definitively return soon. Thanks again Gia, you rock…⭐️
Nice place, nice staff. But the fact that you only get happy hour if you sit at the bar or outside is literally stupid. Money making decision maker of this place can suck me, dudes a straight up d bag con artist. Have fun paying double if you walk 10ft away from the bar. Sub par establishment.
Beautiful setting. I felt the cocktails were very average for the price. We had to send one back to be remade as it was not prepared the way we had requested. The food was good with an interesting menu. I especially enjoyed the tartare. The service was ok though I came away thinking the staff could really do with some service training.I left my credit card in the check presenter. When I phoned to ask them to hold on to it for me the girl who answered said she was far too busy to bother with that. I contacted them again the next day and of course my card was nowhere to be seen. Annoying .
Just had drinks and apps. We had 2 kinds of fish tacos. One was not too good, the other was average. Drinks were good. We asked for some bread or crackers and was told there were none, though of course there was, apparently crackers only with an order of fish dip and not a crumb of bread in the restaurant. Annoying they would not accommodate a potential dinner customer with some crackers. Would not go back.
Cold beers, good music, efficent bars and a good time. One of the best bars/clubs in the delray area
Amazing atmosphere! Brunch options were delicious and the energy of the restaurant was off the charts! Unlimited mimosas till 2pm then the restaurant turns into a dance club from 2pm till 4pm. Would highly recommend celebrating birthdays or having a fun time with close friends!
We came and were sadly disappointed, food was horrible, the fish we ordered was under cooked and the steak over cooked , the server tried to joke about it which we think was inappropriate, the inside furniture is very beat up. Will never be back.
Nice place early for a drink. Turns into a Nightclub vibe later in the evening. I enjoyed dancing here but the music was way too loud and over driven. Hard to talk with the bartenders to order drinks with a speaker blasting right next to the bar. This place would earn a 5 from me if they adjust the sound quality during the later hours.
Happy Hour has some nice deals but there is very little alcohol in their specialty drinks and the happy hour food is very small portions so dont plan on sharing anything. There is inside and outside seating for happy hour but if someone is smoking outside, everyone inside gets the pleasure of smelling the smoker. Servers are alright. They are much more friendly to the regulars and younger people. Cant say I would go back anytime soon.
Had my wife’s birthday party there last weekend and it was fantastic. Food unbelievable and the staff was always available to take drink orders. Special shout out to George the owner for coming over and making sure everything was perfect. Thanks to Donnie and Miles the Managers of the new party plan on Marcy. Thank you everybody for such a great time. Dr. B
The outside seating is kinda whack ngl, tables all wobble, and the sofas were dirty and had food stuck to the cushions, the food was fine the drinks were good and the service was good. Wouldve been 5 stars if they had better outdoor seating and bigger plates instead of just small bites.
Whoa! Amazing service, so thorough. Loved Janice! The kitchen was really accommodating to my allergies (gluten, dairy, peanuts) -- the food came out hot and perfect. Wow. Its the best meal weve had out in a long long time.
This was my first time here but it wont be my last! Shared the crispy brussel sprouts and fried tofu with noodles appetizers and we enjoyed both dishes very much! Im always happy when I can order a yummy vegan dish at a restaurant! Service was excellent and I appreciate outdoor dining, the only thing was the outdoor tables were not spaced 6 apart and were in fact very close to each other.
Very classy brunch, the restaurant is so nice and decorated very well. Beautiful to be at during the morning and at night , the vibes turn into club vibes and I love it. Plus , all the food is amazing , from the morning chicken and waffles to the steak and duck fries for dinner , love coming here.
Atmosphere was great. Hostess was rude. Waiter was great. Disappointed in all the food we got. Everything had an issue with it. Brussel Sprouts were drenched in some liquid sauce. Did not taste good. Took over 45 min to get our food. Ordered dessert and it was terrible. Took over 30 minutes to get to table.
This was my first time here, dining for an official work function. The event/meeting room was adequate for socialization and easily converted to dining and presentation format with good acoustics in the room. The music from the outside was audible but did not reach nuisance levels for our purposes. The food was delicious and the servers were very pleasant. I would return privately on my own or with friends.
The drinks were disgusting (especially the long rich dirty martinis- YUK ... but the raspberry mojito was pretty bad too). They didnt have several items on their menu available and service was super slow... the appetizers were EH... atmosphere was cool and waited were friendly... but overall it was a busy for my group.
Bouncer tried to brag about how many people he knew who died in the army while denying a real military ID of someone who has been in for 4+ years deploying to the Middle East in less than a year. Meanwhile the bouncer has never been in the service or even thought about it. He wore army rank insignias on his collar because he “knows people in the service” then tried to brag to people about how his friends died. That’s now how we act in the service, that is low.
Unfortunately I am unable to upload a photo. First the atmosphere is fun, and our waitress was amazing. We were told we had to order from the brunch menu, no problem. I ordered the chicken sandwich and not only once, but twice the chicken sandwich came out uncooked. I am so grateful I cut into the chicken, I feel bad for the other people who ordered the chicken sandwich today who are going to find themselves in the hospital tonight. The manager came over only after we asked for the manager. The manager should have brought the second dish to the table and made sure it was cooked correctly. Management 101 and basic cooking skills need to be worked on.
Great food! Great service! Really clean and luxurious fun setting. 10 out of 10!
Our server Joey was just excellent! He has the qualities of a future restauranteur. He loved working here and that is so nice to see for a change. We were talking and he was saying how the owner of this place took the time to tell him how he got knocked down a few times before he became really successful in this business, and this dining experience was just excellent. I will have to buy gift cards for some clients. We came for the happy hour menu before seven and had the oysters, the mini filet mignon sandwich, the mahi tacos and the fish dip as well as some other type of sushi taco. For cocktails, we had an absolute mule and I had two glasses of the Pinot Noir. Great value! There’s tons of outdoor seating and I felt really safe considering I’m a little nervous because of my health issues with Covid. All of the food and the service was just excellent definitely five stars!
I got mangled here on 5 dollar lemonade stand martinis.I had a martini for the first time that night... Actually like 8 or 9...The food was good we ate like royalty. Came to like 120 a person. Would probably be a quarter that if you werent a beast like us
Anissa and Nicolas are THE best employees here. Everytime I’m here they make it such an enjoyable time, they are so informative, fun, and real!! I’ve been so lucky to always catch them everytime I’m here!! Out of all the restaurants/bars on the ave, I love Salt7 the best because of them two!!
Great brunch spot if you want to party and brunch at the same time. Definitely not a family brunch spot.Good music & food but this is not a good spot if your going on an empty stomach. Food portions are not that big. We left hungry. Unlimited Mimosas for $24 till 2pm. Mimosas keep refilling without asking. Mimosas were not very strong thou. After 2pm the shades drop and it turns into a party.Brunch reservation recommended weeks in advance. All members of your party have to be at location to be seated. And changes to reservation will cost you a fee.Great experience! Would go back, just not on an empty stomach!
10 stars. The Brussel sprouts was delish, salmon was well seasoned and seafood risotto is the best you’ll find in Del Ray. The chef, Mike, really put in the effort to ensure the meals are to perfection. Must stop spot
Went on a Sat evening for dinner. LOUD LOUD LOUD. If you want LOUD, its a 5*. We decided to cancel our dinner reservations do to the loudness.
So I wanted to enjoy this experience because the location is nice, by the water, nice breezy atmosphere. A friend and I went for dinner and we accidentally booked for the Delray location but they were able to accommodate us in the ft Lauderdale location - the two front hostess were friendly and very nice. The restaurant itself is kinda intriguing - has a lounge feel to it...and it is a little bit of a maze to get to the restrooms where there is a bathroom attendant Happily waiting for ya. The wait staff is friendly and young from what I could see but they got overwhelmed as the night went on. Our drinks took close to 40 minutes to come back which was slightly irritating. Now on to the food: I am a vegan so I really just went for the atmosphere and drinks. My friend had the branzino which she said was delicious but nothing amazing. I ordered th glazed carrots to snack on - worst Ive had: they werent cooked all the way through so slightly inedible and I was missing the glaze. The place was packed and maybe there was an event happening at one of the bars due to it being cinco de mayo so maybe that contributed to the slow service. But to sum it up: Slow service both in the bar and on the patio - decent drinks. Nothing to draw me there again.
What restaurant runs out of food at 1:30pm???? They take a walk in party of 16. Then have no food for the other patrons. The manger Patrick does not possess adequate customer service & leadership skills. I asked about a luck or dinner menu, his response is they only have prepared the brunch menu. Wouldn’t the right thing be to open up your lunch/dinner menu because you ran out of brunch choices? Maybe it’s just me.. Then he lacks hospitality skills of how to conduct a restaurant when patrons are dissatisfied. No form of compensation , NOTHING. Jordan as the waiter did his best to assist with out party. But still left as an completely unsatisfied, unhappy, patron that will not recommend or return.
Anthony our bartender was fantastic and very friendly. Our tomato salad wad fresh, delicious and well presented. Will definitely return.Highly recommend!!
Had a nice time out here, easily located with nice calm interior. The customer service was impressive as the waiter attended to our needs asap. Been the first time there with my friends we would definitely come over again for the stakes and salad. I really enjoyed myself here. Thumbs up to you guy.
Brunch. Lunch. Dinner. Night out. For trying to do it all they really do it all quite well. The Salt Sunday brunch is is in its own category by itself - dont ask, just go. Make a reservation for that. If you have been there for late night drinks or happy hours you may not even realize that they have GREAT food! Try one of their sushi rolls (the surf and turf is delicious but watch out ladies- they are big bites) or their steak. The only fallback is that when they are packed, sitting and standing room is scarce and the service is slow - probably due to the fact that the place jam-packed with people and the cocktail waitresses have a difficult time navigating themselves and their drinks or did through the crowd. Trust me, its a fun kind of busy, but as a waiting customer it can be frustrating so just be prepared to either wait a little while longer or be a little aggressive on a Friday or Saturday night. This place almost got a five . . . If there was a four and a half I would have given it.
Such a pleasant surprise! I am used to dining in restaurants mostly in Miami and decided to try Salt7 after hearing such good things about it and am very glad I did. I ordered the Chianti Braised Short Rib and it was amazing! Service was great, crowd was very nice, drinks were good, and I have already returned multiple times after checking out. Great place for a good dinner in Delray and later on turns into a lounge vibe with great music.
My family and I had a reservation for 4 here last night. We are a black family of 3 and my sons girlfriend is Hispanic. We got to our reservation on time. The restaurant hostesses were very unprofessional. Upon entering no one greeted us. We were simply ignored while they chatted away until I had to adamantly request their attention. They told us we had to wait for a table even though there were empty tables every where. The restaurant itself was very unkept in appearance and upon being told to wait we sat on the outside seating area where we noticed there were several diners visibly drunk and acting inappropriate . After waiting 20 minutes we went back inside to inquire on our table only to be told again we had to wait they were cleaning one. After 25 minutes with no one coming back not even once to check on us or let us know what was happening we left and went and had dinner at Il Mulino in Boca where we are regulars and they definitely know how to treat customers. This place is a farce. While I cannot comment on the food. First impressions are everything. My family and I dine out at least once a week and Im always dining out for business. This restaurant is definitely not worth the visit unless youve already sampled and have enjoyed the food.
Was not impressed! I ordered the oysters and they were not fresh, so I sent them back. Also got the grilled octopus it was good but the price was too high $19.00 for one tentacle. Should at least had two for the price. For my entree I ordered the short rib and was disappointed because they ran out. 🙃 Had to order the salt burger which was ok. Drinks were very expensive and watered down. Nothing WOWED me for the expensive prices. Will not be returning.
We went there for drinks and sat outside the entire night. Once other people started ordering bottle service our waitress visted us less and actually was rude to us. We ordered 3 drinks and when she brought only 2, we simply asked her to get one more. When I tried to tip her additional money for the confusion she swatted/pushed my hand away and said I dont want your money. We occupied the seats for sometime, and I can only suspect that since we didnt order a bottle she wanted us gone. The waitress was a red head. Besides that, we enjoyed the atmosphere.
If I could give this place a triple negative every day I would come back here and do it.We. Made reservations on Sunday came early. Only to run into two parties of 16 that did not have any reservations. They were seated and immediately after that they ordered. When it was our chance to order we were hit with the Im sorry were out of that. Were out of that.We asked for the manager and Patrick came over. We asked him to open the lunch menu and he was NOT ACCOMMODATING.He seems like he didnt care that the restaurant was full and out.
Came here for dinner, nice spot with good amounts of outdoor seating. There was also a heater which was great. Service was perfect. Food was decent. I had a salad and some tuna. It was prepared well.
My wife and I ate at Salt7 for the first time. We really enjoyed our experience there. The service was excellent. Our food was tasty and cooked correctly. We will be back.
Went last night with a group of ladies for a birthday party.. food was great but when it came time to pay the bill was a nightmare. The bill could not be split up everyone is waking up to overcharges on their credit card. The waiter first tried to say he lost one of the girls cards and then after not giving up it miraculously appeared. Something shady is going on there and a call to management will be had.
I walked in and immediately felt out of place. Typical south beach feel. We chose to sit outside on a comfy couch & grab a quick cocktail/appetizer. Whatever weird feeling I got inside was completely eradicated as soon as we sat and our amazing server greeted us. She was British & adorable. The food was yummy! We had a sushi pizza & its better than you could imagine -- not healthy at all. Not a kid friendly place.
Another crowded place with mediocre drinks (Friday night). Couldnt fathom eating in that atmosphere, its way too close and undivided by the crowded part.Edit: Some of these other reviews are funny. Best drinks in town When theres a genuine craft cocktail place literally next door to this establishment. And the crowd was no more or less attractive than any other place on the strip. Thats a weird thing to comment on in an area like this.
While Im not usually one to complain about a free meal, my wifes company had a Christmas party here this past year. Starting from the top: 2 people ordered the same bourbon cocktail, two completely different drinks came out. You can imagine that the third one was also some other concoction completely. When we asked the server about this, he stuck with his bartender and said they were the same, even though they were three different colors. The menu was only 3 items to choose from, so why did those items take an hour and a half to be brought out? Perhaps it WAS busy, GUESS WHAT?!?! dont take big parties if you cant serve them properly. The server then brings out the desert tray and leaves it on some back table and then disappears for the rest of the meal. I can assure you this, we will never choose to eat here again. Buyer beware.
This place is FUN! Good food, friendly staff. A bit pricey, but worth it. I suggest you go during happy hour and order as many appetizers as you can eat in one sitting. Then youll know what youd like when you go back for dinner. Their filet mignon was one of the best Ive ever eaten.
Great location with amazing party experience and great food! They serve a fusion of Sushi, Steaks and Shellfish; I tried their Sushi and Steaks and was totally blown away by the taste and freshness! Furthermore, the service here is always top notched, very personalised and friendly. Short waiting time to enter and receive our food. Great place! I will definitely come back for more!
Generally a little too pricey for what you get. I do, however, think they have one of the best happy hours in Delray and the happy-hour prices are well-worth it. Ive never really had a complaint about their food, drinks, or service.
Yesterday Thursday 3/31/2022, went to a friends bday party. 7 people party, 3 people had to send their food back! Oysters were so fishy that they were not edible, chicken was cold, and even the macaroni as a side was mildly cold! Waiter took 30 minutes just to take our drink order and we saw the drinks waiting at the bar for him to give it to us and he gathered them 20 minutes later! The bday boy said sorry to all of us and said that his bday was a disaster. I would never recommend!
Our server Joey was exceptional! Such attention to detail. He knew the menu and guided us on what to order. He was very passionate about the food industry and really exemplified what a server should be. I will only come here and ask for him. He made the experience absolutely fantastic.!!
Open airy well spaced dining all good vibe experience. The restaurant was well divided; with loud party like atmosphere on one side and quiet somewhat romantic room and patio area on the other side. Service was quick and attentive. Pork belly sliders for appetizers was pretty good. Ribeye with mac and cheese was excellent! My wife thoroughly enjoyed the branzino with eggplant. The steak was the best I’ve had in recent memory. Cappuccino was pretty good with even the creamer heated for my wife’s americano. The chocolate cupcake and the peach cobbler was good but I think we will try the key lime the next time.
Ft. Lauderdale location is some racist waiters and Managers. Never have I ever experienced blatant racism. Ordered at 8:29PM the table beside us sat and had appetizers, Drink refills and their entree before my order came cold and half done . Waiter checked on us 1 hour later, table behind us left because he didn’t even give them water , of course they were POC . So they only two tables of color received no service or bad service . Never again will I go there . This was intentionally done . The MOD was just as bad , said were we gonna pay or we needed more time . Kiss my A** Salt 7 because my husband and I both make more than the waiter and your manager . We have no problem paying our tabs. We left without eating
The only reason I give this place 3 stars is because you CANNOT beat the ambience. The drinks are tasty and well thought out but the service is very slow no matter if you’re at the bar or being served at a table. I’ve been here a few times, and I’ll still come back but I wish the food was better. It’s, at best, mediocre.
Had a brunch with my best friend at SALT7 on Friday and it was wow! Service was exceptionally fast and friendly. Food was creatively prepared and presented. Tastefully served and well cooked. I think the credit goes to the new chef!! Try a visit and you will be glad you did!
To sum it up: Poor Service, Mediocre food and way overpriced. My wife and I dined here for the first (and last) time recently. We live in the area and have never tried SALT7 before -- I have always though it looked like a cool place. From the beginning the experience was poor.Arrival: Valet Parked right in front of SALT7 but they do not validate. Had to pay $15 to park where others paid $7 with validation. Sadly, places like Rocco Taco validate and they are about 1/3 the price of SALT7.Seating: We had a reservation to sit outside. When we arrived we were told that they have a private event going on outside and we would need to wait an hour if we wanted to sit outside. Why would you take reservations for outside if you had booked an event. Feels like bait and switch. When we were finally seated we were put in a back corner at a table where we had to sit next to each other and not across from each other. This is not the perfect date night.Wait staff: Our waitress was good but the meal felt rushed. We were asked if we wanted to order our meals when we ordered drinks and appetizers which is not standard service. When we put in the appetizer order the waitress was back 2 minutes later to take our food order. The food was then delivered shortly after appetizer and before we finished our appetizer. The service at desert did not feel as rushed.Drinks: This is the only winner at SALT7. Drinks were sold and even a bit strong. They were also made/delivered quickly. Kudos to the bar staff.Food: The food was just ok and way overpriced for what we got. I think they are going for artsy but dont really have a chef that can pull it off. We got a crab cake to start and it was just ok. The crab cake itself was decent but nothing to write home about. It was topped with a jungle of varied items that dont seem to go together. There was a lot of yellow caviar (likely whitefish) mixed with greens and other shavings. None of this was bad but it just seemed too busy and did not really pair well. Truly good artsy food should have unusual flavor profiles that work well together. This seemed more like they threw stuff together and topped it with cheap caviar to make it look high end.For dinner, I had the Cheese Steak which we were told is a specialty. It was tiny and nothing to write home about. They have a ton of black truffles on it which is an odd combination. They also advertise it as having home made Cheese Whiz. The Truffles were shaved too thick and did not have much flavor. Not sure that they were actually black truffles since they were not very flavorful. They were clearly refrigerated and were cold on the sandwich thus cooling off the meat which was warm. I could see absolutely no cheese which was either left off or maybe is just lightly mixed in the meat. Either way, a cheese steak should have cheese - plenty of cheese.Bill: The bill was high for what we got. For 2 people it was $125 before tip. ($150 with tip and $170 with parking) We had a small crab cake, hamburger, cheese-steak and a few drinks. This is far too expensive for that sort of fare on Atlantic Ave. You can go across the street to the office or next door to the tavern and pay far less for much better food.
I made verbal reservations over the phone. (No contract, No email, or any documentation) At that time I was told, as long as all of my party is there, not late more than 15 min, I would not be charged the $25.00 per person table reservation fee. So make sure everyone shows up or pay $25.00 for anyone that does not.My party of 9 was all in place and on time, 1 PM. Not hungry everyone wanted to purchase the $250 plus bottle special, large drink bowl. We drank and enjoyed the brunch entertainment, until the manager, a younger African American male with blond tips rudely decided to create a new rule upcharging our brunch party to order another $250.00 bottle or pay $25.00 per person for not eating at their establishment. The party went from enjoying the entertainment to explaining to everyone at 3:30 upon cashing out to order another bottle or pay an additional $25.00 per person. Not that the money was an issue, the fact our group was targeted and told to spend $500 plus for being there. Not to mention, we were the only table that ordered bottle service on 02/12/2017. I politely told the manager, I do not agree with their new rule or policy, to produce something in writing first for I will not order another bottle or eat being we are cashing out to leave all together. He became furious, he cashed us out with our original bottles, handed me to bill and stated I am banned from making reservations for life from their establishment. I cashed out and thanked him for their service and exited the brunch.Long story short DO NOT ALLOW SALT7 TO FINANCIALLY UPCHARGE YOU.
We and our friends had a great happy hour. The Ali and Melissa did a great job and we had some good food and drink. Would have been 5star but for the draft beer being out of order.
A wonderful place ,a friend of mine recommended the place to me and I decided to give it a trial going their with my wife and two kids, the shrimp tempura roll was awesome ,the steaks perfect and my kids definitely wants to come back to have some more chicken roulade. The attendants where very active going about attending to people with a smile. I recommend this place to all who would like to have a good treat.
The food and service at Salt7 is always superb but on Friday it was worth a 10 star rating. Our server Michael was excellent and took extra good care of us all night. The chef also made me one of the best vegan meals I have had to date. Salt7 is a MUST when in south florida. I will continue to have my dinner celebrations here for years to come!
Worst place to brunch ... first off how can you have a brunch menu that started limited In the first place and barely has the items on there ! after a close evaluation I was left to order the steak and eggs because the waffle and chicken was sold out. Upon the arrival of my plate , there was no steak sauce and I was left to use ketchup . Additional to this I wanted to order a red velvet cake(That was on the menu ) but that again was not available to order . Their menu literally have 12 items , FYI not much to choose from after eliminating the items that you guys already don’t have . The atmosphere is awesome , it was really clean but when I look for a restaurant I’m looking for food and service . And actualllllyyyyyyyyyy having the food on the menu ! My waitress was awesome ! But the wait time was like 45 mins and the food came out extremely cold . Never will I ever eat here again . I normally I’m a serial bruncher but this is the worst brunch ever . My new name for salt is catfish brunch !
I went here because I got invited to a birthday party . I say it was okay because it wasnt my kind of vibe of having brunch with really loud music and the ambience looking like a club . I certainly didnt enjoy the blinds going down and then it was just a club in the day time . The menu didnt have much variety and the food wasnt really that great to begin with . If you like this kind of vibe by all means try it but I dont think I would go out if my way to go back .
Probably a good hang out! But food was terrible! Ritz cracker with a sprinkle of rice crispy cereal was kind of the turn off for our tuna Tatar, and our mains were tasteless
I don’t want to spend the energy leaving to long of a review. To sum it up: Slow service both in the bar and on the patio, decent drinks and smelly bar. Management seems under-qualified and the owner is more than likely absent from what’s going on. This is more of a dive bar dump than an Ave bar.
Awesome restaurant on Atlantic in Delray, always a great experience all around. Hostesses, bar staff & wait staff are spot on, friendly courteous & extremely helpful in every way. Steaks are the best youll get on Atlantic Av. cooked to perfection any way you like it. Extra special thanks to the Chef for tonight, the orange herb roasted chicken was beyond perfect, tasted the flavor in every bite, thanks much guys!! If you havent been to Salt7 you need to check it out.
Good food, but ridiculously dark. Waitress and hostess dresses look like they should work in a strip club! Maybe more appealing to a hipster crowd? Every thing ala cart, so bring your wallet loaded
They had a very bad night…. Air wasn’t working…. 2 of Same food item ordered came out looking like 2 different dishes, they have been waiting for crusty bread for the muscles for over a week, they gave us house alcohol when we ordered specific labels, they didn’t have chicken…. Would have been better if they even tried to fix it but they didn’t. Most disappointed.
Aw Man, we had a great time. Good food, Awesome drinks, Atmosphere and music went off!! Best brunch ever! Off the chain. Club First thing in the morning...... Perfect. Epic. Boom.
Got here....they invited us in...mind you my friend was wearing a hat. we spent at least $300 on food and alcohol and we also had a tab going....the minute we closed our tab...security and the owner said if he didnt take his hat off we would be escorted out..thanks for letting us know before had...we planned on getting bottle service at this club but forget it...how can you treat a paying customer like that...the DJ plays the same song every hour and he was good for the first hour until he played spice girls...not a good time.
Leo, the night manager, was an amazing host- paid great attention to detail, went above and beyond is his thoughtful demeanor and active caretaking of our large group, and had relevant recommendations. Would highly recommend.
Best happy hour on the block, you can’t beat $5 martinis! Sushi pizza is amazing, the philly cheese steak is the best I’ve ever had, then finish up lunch/dinner with the fruity pebble ice cream, you will not be sorry. Make sure you ask for Cody when You’re there because he is very attentive and knows his menu. You rock Cody!
The waitress was great and super friendly, place was really nice and the drinks were amazing the 3 stars are because of the food, the bbq pulled pork sliders weren’t warm when they arrived & the sides were under seasoned the only good thing was the steaks and drinks
This place was great to be at today. Jordan was a fantastic server... Bathrooms couldve been cleaned a bit more frequently, though. We still are in a pandemic, so Id have liked to see a little bit more attention paid to keeping up with the sanitation.
My friends & I regular this place. I used to bring my tourist friends here. They told me that I need to leave because I was drinking water instead of alcohol, because I have a business meeting in the morning. I was waiting for other friends to arrive as well. My friends art work is even hanging in the place. I cant believe I was thrown out. Seriously...? Ill never go there again. you think a gift card to return will resolve being humiliated in front of my friends ? Get A Clue !!! I was dressed Nice, Brand new shoes, watch, clothing... all new with over 20 grand in the bank. I was even standing in a corner behind a folding door to not block walkways. sheesh
Bouncers are rude and fat. Sit there and make faces at you while you’re waiting in line for over 30mins. I mean, a bouncer should be doing his job and not instigating the club goers. Also, I noticed slight twinges of racism. And this racism was condoned by the manager... a taller fellow dressed up nicely who kept allowing groups AND single white folk in while Arab and darker skinned and black people were kept in line to wait. Now I get that they may want to have an image for their nightclub/restaurant but at the expense of others enjoyment, I don’t think that’s right. This place is sweaty and always packed with seemingly underaged people. I would not recommend it for a good time. Prices are high too and the music is way loud. Unless you’re sloshed or trying to get laid, I would not recommend this place. It’s probably the worst club in delray.
Went on a Friday night around 11pm and when I walked in I realized how old I was, lol. (Early 30s!) Just went to meet friends from out of town but it was a good spot. Drinks were ok, a little light on the booze but probably to be expected. Night outdoor area and great music. If I was still on the party circuit Id definitely be going there.
Honestly, very mediocre. The place needs TLC, but the worst thing was the DJ. The music selection was poor and boring and when I approached the DJ to request a Latin song, he started yelling at me in an angry and rude way, that this was not a Latin Club. Obvious discrimination. If you are unable to deal with public, then find another job. Too bad there’s not many other choices to dance in the area and we ended up in this place. Never again.
Soooo I wanted to check and make sure that my car wasn’t being towed, due to the sign in front . After spending $600, Steve said I was too intoxicated to be there and said I had to leave 🙄. Patrick was amazing and made sure we were okay. Steve however, should have better training with his customer service skills. Common sense should tell you if I spent $600 I’m clearly a little I intoxicated due to the drinks!
Great cup of coffee, intimate atmosphere and exceptional food make this an excellent brunch spot. The staff is attentive and my coffee and water were promptly refilled. A plus in a cold winters day.
The place is fun and the food is good. My problem is that there is no doubt the drinks are watered down. Two Vodkas on the rocks and I am usually buzzed and can tell in a second if its straight vodka. Not even close.
Such a great place for dinner! The steak with a side dish is definitely their specialty. The waiters are always at your disposal and the waiter who was in charge of our table answered all our questions related to the food menu with huge patience. I was impressed!
Big disappointment!!!! I thought Paul would of had a better organization than this. Entrees were below expectations, drinks were mixed improperly, cases of beer stacked on the dining floor. Server didn’t understand menu.Loved you on the show, not in your facility!
Best steak I’ve ever had! Beautiful atmosphere and amazing service! Must try their truffle cream corn THE BEST!!
Went in for some drinks and apps with some friends. Our server, Cody, was knowledgeable and had great recommendations. The food was yummy and we would definitely come back again!
Had it not been for Glass in one of our drinks some kind of metal on a fork and hair in the cake I think we would have had a good time
Sad to have to write a negative review but I definitely feel its necessary. I wanted to book reservations for Sunday brunch for my birthday. I called 3 weeks ago and was told to email the manager. I did. Manager replies and says theyre booked. Ok no biggie. I call again today and ask if its okay to just hang out at the bar area since the place is booked. The hostess Crystal told me that they are not booked and they would be able to accommodate me and my party. I told her repeatedly that I received an email from Kyle stating they are booked for the day that I wanted. Crystal reassured me several times that I can make a reservation. Now tell me why Crystal the hostess couldnt just book the reservation over the phone. No i had to hang up and email the manager to make a reservation. I guess Kyle has the final say so on who can come to their restaurant. And again, i was told by Kyle they are booked. Sounds really sketchy and if Im not welcome at their restaurant, i will gladly spend my money somewhere else.
I decided to visit Salt7 after I saw a friend post a video of The Brunch on Instagram. I was sold at the thought of a Brunch with a full blown party, disco lights, music and characters dancing. I called and made the reservation but was never told that brunch is just that Brunch... My reservation was for 11am and the place was DEAD!!! I found out that the party (blackout) doesnt actually start until 2:30PM. The food was mediocre, I had the chicken and waffles and it was not good at all however the drinks we pretty good and the DJ was great!
The food is amazing, but not for everyone. The Chef is creative in presentation and ingredients. Ask to be seated in Rauls section. He is very attentive, gets all the orders correct. A cutie!
Im a bit of a foodie and being new in Miami and more specifically Delray Beach, I took my time trying out the cuisine offerings of several restaurants and was particularly impressed by this restaurant. My assumption was that I caught them on a good day the first time but on going back the next day for brunch, I fell in love with their French toast casserole. Moreover, my waiter from the previous evening recognized me and treated me like a regular making excellent small talk. Many places are good but only enough to make you realize that there might be more to experience. Salt7, however, is the kind of restaurant that makes you want to settle. Its so good that I stopped searching when I found it. The cuisine is steady enough that you can confidently introduce a friend to it but still invigorating enough to keep a long time love of the restaurants cuisine coming back.
I had so much fun at this place yesterday night! It was very crowded but we enjoyed a lot, cool people there, good drinks, kind bartenders
Bouncer grab my drink and pushed me out 4 no reason I am a 69 yr old retired nurse just trying to have fun with my godson. CHIPED MY TOOTH. Why?calling management in am~ Debra Strauss
Food and drink were great. Service was above average. Overall atmosphere inside wasn’t for me but like the outside couches. Good place to spy on people walking the ave.
Food was good the slaw on the fish taco was fresh with a great taste. My loaded potatoes was a different taste Im use to. Prime rib with cheese and bacon flavor was on point.
My steak was cooked perfect and lots of flavor. Our waiter was Super attentive and its a Cool restaurant with great music and becomes a dance club on certain nights and Sunday Brunch.
The restaurant serves traditional dishes with seasonal items. We ordered a bread breakfast to share for the table with pumpkin bread and pear crumb cake and some jam, which we finished quickly.I highly recommend this restaurant. you need to try them out.
I’ve been going every Friday for a month now with a large group of friends that contribute a lot of purchases for the restaurant and always buy a table, and every time I go the environment is good, but the music gets worse and worse every time which throws off the whole atmosphere. The DJ needs to play more songs that everyone know, so everyone can enjoy the atmosphere more. The DJ needs to change his playlist or Salt should hire a new DJ for the amount of money we all pay.
Warm sushi and mega salt used for our steak was nothing compared to the lack of attention given to us by the waiter. Had to chase him down 3 times get something and never check on us for temp on the steak. He was busy talking with at bar with buddies. Steak was raw. Just a loud club acting like a fine restaurant.
Accommodating staff overpriced for quantity and quality imo. I reserved a table for my girls bday and all went well. split bills and theyre were absolutely zero problems when it came time to doing so. Waiter was on point.
Salt 7 is my favorite restaurant in Delray Beach! The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the energy is always high! My husband and I are there about twice a week to grab a drink and a snack off their amazing happy hour menu. We are there so much we have become friends with some of the staff! Kyle Gonzalez is the BEST Marketing Director ever! His events are always over the top! My company, Grimes Events & Party Tents, is always proud to be a part of the Kyles creative and innovative vision. Larry Thomas, the GM, always makes us feel welcome and part of the Salt 7 family. I would highly recommend Salt 7 if you are looking for a place with excellent food, great drink selection, and overall most happening restaurant on the Ave! Try the sliders... theyre so addicting!
Love this place. Service is always on point. Santiago, Melissa and Annise are awesome. Always friendly, efficient, accommodating and professional. This venue strives on excellent customer service from the security, bathroom attendant all the way up to management.
I have been to SALT7 3 times and each time is a new adventure!!!! Great food!!! Great drinks!!!!! Great atmosphere!!!! Great place to have a brunch party!!!!! I love it, I forgot that it was daytime because when they pull the shutters down SALT7 turns it into a night club in the daytime!!!! My husband and I live for this place!!!!! Try it out one day!!!!
Service was sub-par and very slow. Started with a side of fries and pork belly sliders. Fries were ok but quite expensive, had a nice crunch to them but tasted like ur average fries. As for the slidders, the Home made BBQ sauce tasted like ur regular craft bbq. The slidders had a quater slice of cheese and a miserable piece of pork belly, in a bun that was way too big for the tiny amount of everything but BBQ sauce they put in there. Basically cheap tasting BBQ with bread. The sliders were so pathetic I got the check and went to eat somewhere else. For the price of this place it was a huge disappointment.
Great place to meet people 25-35. Nice looking crowd. Dress well if you want to get noticed, cause the girls are beautiful here! Most wear their 8 inch heels!Ouch! Have not had much food here. But i can say they serve a very generous glass of New harbour ,Sauvignon blanc! Will be back soon!
A very fun bar that turns into more of a dj/barclub as the night goes on. Always a crowd on a weekend and fantastic people watching. Outdoor seating area and bar a nice balance to the inside vibe.
