Yuan Massage

I had an excellent massage from Coco at Yuan Massage. We had a bit of a language barrier but she understood what I needed without me saying much. The place was inviting, clean, and relaxing. I will definitely be a regular!

This place is like a mini visit to the orient! The therapists work so hard at doing a good job of making you comfortable. i was beyond impressed. I lived in hawaii 3 years and had a massage at least once a week so i do have some reference as to what a massage should be. Ive had ok, good and great massages but yuan massage is off the chart and was wonderful! The word magical came to mind many times during my session. Another big point for me was the session started immediately and was non stop till the end, many places ive been the therapist says get undressed and hop on the table then they dissapear for 10-15 minutes before starting the massage. She hit many key pressure points that felt wonderful and did hot stones massage in a way id not experienced before. Im already looking forward to my next session, i had the solo 60 minute version but they have a couples massage available also. The sheets were very clean,felt very soft and everthing smelled great! I have found my new favorite place.

Been back a couple times now and all have been an amazing experience, on my last visit I did have a issue with one of the employees which was a shock, but Cassie the owner immediately reached out and made things right. I truly appreciate her going out of her way to fix the situation, I am happy to come to a place where they truly care about you. ✨️ SELF CARE ✨️After a long search, I have finally found a massage therapist that I cant speak enough good things about!I have been getting massages for a decade and I have never received a massage like the one Cassia gave me today!She moved and stretched me in ways like Ive never been before! Im so excited to see her again.I do not say this lightly, but WHERE HAS SHE BEEN ALL MY LIFE!?!She is an hour away from me, but Im more than happy to make that drive to receive the massage therapy she delivers.If anyone is looking for a massage therapist, I highly recommend Cassia at Yuan Massage. Shes located in Keizer.She opened her business in 2018 and it was going well. The pandemic hit and she lost her staff. Post pandemic, shes still running her business, but with inflation and cost of everything that has impacted her small business, as many others.I love to support small businesses ran by women. I was a last minute appt. Neck, shoulder, arm issues. Then, opposite side lower back (yard work). Jenny did everything, deep rub above the blanket, warm oils and a variety of pressures all over the body. Hot towel rub down, then heated rocks. It was amazing. Get the full hour. Tip well.

I had a 60 minute deep tissue massage today and it was amazing! I was really impressed overall with cleanliness, inviting and relaxing atmosphere, as well as the massage itself. Hot stones were included and I was actually blown away by the price for how great the service was, plus you can get a punch card where you earn a free massage after so many visits. I will definitely be back.

I finally used my gift certificate for one hour massage today. It was an amazing experience. The ambience (decorated nicely, tranquil music, diffusers) to clean environment to warm and caring therapist ensuring my comfort. The message itself was heavenly and incorporated hot stone work. Finished session with an offering of a warm tea and a sweet little gift. It’s definately one of the best, if not THE best experiences I’ve had with massage. I will definately go back and go for the 90 min massage and maybe even try some of their other techniques! I feel so renewed! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

I have been going to Yuan Massage a couple of times a month for over a year. Always a great deep tissue therapeutic massage. (No fluff and buff here) Cassia and her staff are very knowledgeable and has been known to throw elbows. The shop is clean,tidy and nicely decorated. Prices are on reasonable, on par with other shops. I highly recommend if you want a really good massage.

My wife & I love it! We havent stopped going since our first appointment. They do such an amazing job. Thank you ladies for always taking great care of our bodies - well be back soon.

This place is amazing! I’ve been there maybe 20 times. It’s always clean, they start on time and don’t end the session early like other places. Very friendly staff. Insanely awesome massages. They can always fit you in on the same day that you call. I see some commenters on here complaining about tips or gratuities, yes this is the type of service that normal people tip for. I am always happy to leave at least a %30 tip and no you don’t pay before the session.

Best massage you can get in Salem/Keizer area!!

I was in desperate need of getting all the knots worked out in my neck and shoulder area which was at the point where I had a headache for over a week. I called and they get me and my husband in on the same day. The massage was everything I needed! I would definitely recommend and will be going back.

Absolutely love this place! The massage is excellent, usually pay for 1 hour body massage and is worth every minute of it! I often have knots and a lot of muscle tension from high stress and life, and muscles are feeling better and better after every week I go. Thank you Cassi... you always give excellent therapeutic massage, I am very grateful!!! I would give 10 stars if I could!!! If you need excellent massage, whether deep tissue or just for relaxation, this is the place to go!!!

It was one of the best places I have been they have a chart where you want them to work and I was having a shoulder pain for a while and they took away like 99% off that pain and also I have brought my wife and she love it. Very nice and clean place

Update - just returned and the massages are still great and reasonably priced!Ive had many massages over the years, but never a Chinese massage. OMG, I have been missing out. This was the most impactful massage I have ever had. Full body, intense, amazing. I feel 10 years younger. Hot stones were incredible. I will be back regularly.

I had the BEST massage with Judy, who had the ability to work very deeply (if thats what you prefer). She was very thorough and consistent, and addressed all of my issues. I highly recommend her and Yuan Massage overall, as my parents each received a massage at the same time, and they couldnt stop raving about the people who worked on them. As some others have mentioned in their reviews, not everyone speaks English, but there were two fluent English speakers when we were there and no issues with communication. Yuan Massage followed strict protocol for COVID, and I felt very safe here. I highly, highly recommend them for a massage! Thank you so much, Judy! :)

Outstanding massage! Cassie is fantastic, strong and well versed in multiple disciplines. So glad I found this place! Great value and she takes walk ins! Which works great for me and my busy schedule. I would recommend her to anyone who wants a deep tissue massage, back walking and Swedish massage!

Awesome massage! My therapist Lily entered the room and got down to business! Ive never had such a thorough and strong massage. I prefer firm deep tissue massages and she tenderized me good. All the while she was very kind. Great value too as she used hot stones and moist hot towels at no extra charge like some places. I will definitely go back!

I came here for a one hour massage. All of the staff I encountered were very professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. The massage was excellent, everything inside the building was clean, and they gave me a complimentary cup of tea with a yummy cookie at the end of my massage. I will definitely be returning.

Anna was perfect in all my requests. I have back issues that are pretty severe and I hurt much of the time. We are moving and of course this adds to the pain I have. So when we were done today, I was able to call on short notice. I made a couples appointment for my husband and I, within 45 minutes.Between the deep massage, the heated towels, rocks, and just her hands, my muscles loved it. Every place I marked on the intake sheet, you know; the ones for pain locations? She focused on them, there were a lot. She kneeled on my table to get the optimum amount of leverage, movement, and pressure to release my tight muscles.The 2 rounds of hot stones were just right. From the fingers, toes, ankles, wrists, my skull at the C1 to the C6, to my spine felt like I had a mini makeover.Thank you Anna, we will be back every couple weeks.Dawn Carter

Went here for my first-ever massage, couldnt quite understand over the phone what kind of massage I signed up for, turned out to be a deep tissue massage. They asked a few times if it was okay or if they needed me to soften it up. Overall is a nice experience

My husband can’t recall the name of the gal that performed his massage, but she was so kind to get him n at the last minute when my husband was having major back pain from gigantic knots under his shoulder blades. He said it was the most aggressive massage he had ever had, but also the most effective one. He said she really gave 100% and he came out of there feeling much better than when he went in. So much relief! Highly recommended. Thank you so much!

I was driving by and saw the sign, so I took a chance on a appt. Within a hour I was being seen for a combo massage. I have received massages regularly for 20 years and this place was GREAT!Clean, quiet, professional and prices are very reasonable. Definitely recommend.

July19, 2019I was in Salem for 2 days and needed a chair massage desperately! I hopped on Yelp and after reading reviews I called everywhere but here. Nobody could get me in right away, so reluctantly I called this place. They could get me right in and my thoughts were, “ hmm... reading reviews I can understand why!” But I went because any work on my shoulders would be better than none! I arrived she (a younger woman, sorry to say I didn’t get here name) seated me immediately and started to work. She worked me over! I need very deep pressure and she did not disappoint! I felt amazing when I left! My only complaint was that I didn’t have time for an hour massage!! Not sure what all the negative reviews are about, but the next time I’m in town I will be back!9/26/19Update:In town again for a few weeks and called. They got me in within 20 minutes. It was most definitely worth the wait. Cassia (got her name this time), worked on me again. She is so strong and works diligently to pay attention to your needs. I needed some major deep tissue and she worked me over! I have bursitis and tendinitis in my right shoulder, and I get large knots in both traps. She worked SO hard to get them out. I will be scheduling with her two or three times a week while I’m in town to get these flare ups to calm down. I have been to MANY massage therapists, and she is by far the most attentive, deep tissue work(er) I have ever been to. Do yourself a favor, give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed!!

It is rare for me to write a review. It is even more rare to find such a gem of a massage therapist in a small town. I went in to Yuan Massage hoping to relieve a severe backache from driving. The massage was fantastic, the service was e exemplary, the shop was beautiful and the prices were reasonable. I look forward to stopping in again, and hope everyone who reads this will support the local business. Great place!

Best Christmas present ever! Cassi was incredible. Very professional, applied the perfect amount of pressure and used different techniques. I was a regular at a different out of town location and was very happy until I found this place. Ill definitely continue being a customer here and I highly recommend you give them a shot.

Great atmosphere and excellent massage experience.

There definitely is a language barrier that made communication difficult but ive been to places with perfect English and they are not even close to as good as this place, so if you can get past the language barrier, and want a real massage this is the place to go. I hurt my back, and it was becoming harder to move i called asking when the next availability was and got in within minutes of calling after one hour deep massage I already feel so much better ! Worth every penny. This place was peaceful, and overall amazing THANKYOU !!!

I recieved the best massage ever and I have gone to a lot of places! She was amazing and constantly checked in to see how I was doing. She used a lot of different techniques and worked through all my knots. 10/10 will do again.

I came in and asked for the hour long combo which is supposed to be 30 minute back massage and 30 minutes on your feet. What I got instead was a LEG massage. The woman spent almost the entire time of the body massage on my calves and the backs of my thighs, barely touched my shoulders and neck which were 2 of the places I SPECIFICALLY indicated that I wanted her to focus on. Im leaving this place down $60 and still tense as all hell in my shoulders and neck. Go to Pure Massage in Salem instead, theyre AMAZING.

I returned back for a massage with the owner Cassie and she was amazing. I highly reccomend her for a massage. Best massage I have had in salem keizer trumping my chiropractor office as well. Please go see her you must have a massage done by her, you will not be disappointed.

My foot massage lasted only 50 minutes. I sat there while my feet soaked for 10 minutes and it was 15 minutes from the time I arrived until my massage even began (5 minute wait and 10 minute foot soak). The one hour foot massage is advertised as some time on head neck and arms (see Photo). Ive had dozens of foot massages over the years and this has been typical while your feet soak, they spend a few minutes on head and neck. At check out, when I told the other employee that my masseuse did not do head, neck, or shoulders (or even arms for that matter--just a brief hand massage), she said they dont do it anymore because they dont want to get in trouble. I mentioned its still advertised as such (again, reference photo) and she shrugged and said yeah we dont do it anymore. Mediocre massage, not a full hour, and not as advertised. I wont be back. *I was not able to post photo on this review but see the photo on my yelp review.

$70 for a full hour is a great price. They actually focus on the areas you request and apply enough pressure. Way better than massage envy.

The person massaging me had to leave the room 3 times to resolve trouble at the front desk. She was very rough. She talked 15 min at the end and charged me $70! Never again.

Best massage and first cupping I have ever had and I let them know it with a nice tip.

I didnt have a great experience, she was massaging to hard I told her to take it easy several times, she told me if she didnt do it hard it wouldnt work and said no pain no gain, one day later, I am very sore and I have bruises on my shoulders, I cant even lay on pillows without it hurting.
