Ricks Cabaret -Closed

So, I went on a Sunday night in the midst of a pandemic, with limited customer occupancy, and they still managed 5-Stars. The staff was professional and attentive, but still super chill. The DJ was generally on point throughout the night, and the drinks/prices were reasonable. Also, the performances were exceptional. Overall the environment was comfortably sociable, clean, and very welcoming. Personally, I had a great time and this will be my go to place from now on.

Great management. Great atmosphere. VIP is only 60 bucks which is way better compared to what other clubs in San Antonio charge. The manager was really cool. Waitresses were sweet and sexy and the dancers were even sexier especially Mckenzie. She definitely had my attention and gave me A reason to come back again. Im only deducting 1 point because the front desk lady had A really bad vibe and didnt even smile or say thank you when I tipped her A 20 for giving me my car keys which I forgot at the front. Other than that, Loved this place. Plus its only 20 mins away from home.

Went with a fun, very open minded female friend. Walked in and the woman at the front desk said four words to us...I.D, $20 cover each... No hello, no welcome, no thank you. We powered on. Beautiful venue. Great furniture, cool booths, bars, etc. The bartender was a cutie, and friendly, as were all the waitresses who, I assure you, were sexier than the dancers. Even the DJ came by and said hello. Only problem was that we ordered the same two drinks three times and were told three different prices. $20 then $17 then $21 which tell me that the waitresses are padding their own tips into the prices. We watched 3 hrs of dancers, mostly with no stage presence outside of twerking with bored looks on their faces. One dancer was fit and fun...She, however, never took off a stitch of clothing, and neither did the rest. If I want to watch girls dance in bikinis, Ill drive to the beach.

So me and my girlfriend went out on on Saturday night.. And it was pretty slow. They had girls at the front trying to get us to come in the command. Good thing we went because we were the only ones throwing money to the girls. The waitress was gorgeous by the way and she was very attentive and super sweet. We even had a couple of the girls conversate with us and they were really really nice. There were 3 girls dancing. One was really entertaining loved the boots. My friend even ended up cash apping the girls cause we ran out of cash lol. The girls did say Fridays were busier. Overall it was a good experience. The place itself was nice the bathrooms needed some attention tho. But kind of glad it was slow so we could get up in personal haha my girls and I will be back for ladies night! Went to this place with my girlfriend about a week ago. We had a great time, I am usually a blonde lover but the two girls we had dance for us there that night were very attractive. I thought the place was good, and we did not have to wait long for the food. Check this place out for yourself. the girls are nice and really appreciate it if you are a generous tipper.

Went for the first time to this cabaret last night and it was a horrible experience! Apparently if you don’t have cash they find it okay to rip you off with your credit card! I want to say we were there for a good 30 min and within those 30 min the waitress couldn’t seem to get the whole receipt situation situated? 4 copies given 2 for the customer, 2 for merchant copies, but in the end we ended up with NOT ONE CUSTOMER COPY! They kept coming back and forth asking for different receipts and ended up taking them all and asking for our card and ID after the fact that we had already been charged? Oh! And not to mention to the young lady who decided to give yourself a $10 tip from our credit cards good job girl!!!

Went to Ricks and I was charged 20.00 per person to get in. Once we had set there for 30 minutes and realized no one was coming on stage. There were NO girls!! The dj kept apologizing and kept saying they were on there way but no one ever showed up. After being there for a hour we finally got frustrated and went to the front desk and asked for our money back and was told no they wouldnt give us our money back and asked us what did you expect it was Mothers day and most strippers are mothers! And we have 1 girl that just got here Which was a lie you can see how many girls are there if you go to the bathroom and none were there like wth? If thats how you feel then maybe you should close. Long story short 2 hour later 20.00 person and 1 bottle service for 100.00. We left and wasted an entire bottle because there were no girls. And no fun.

Love the place, walked in, door girl was friendly enough, management greeted me and offered VIP, dancers were 4s, 6s at best that night, however they’re usually 8s, waitresses were attentive. They even have hookah on some nights, it’s sub-par but I don’t go there for their hookah. Pro tip: Clubs in general are usually best enjoyed with cash not card.

Every time I have gone thus far, I have had a wonderful experience. Even on slow nights the staff and performers are exceptional. The staff is professional and extremely welcoming. The performers are stunning and highly sociable. The music is great and the drinks are satisfying - shoutout to Mike: awesome bartender and super chill guy. I also want to give a shoutout to the manager Ryan, great guy and extremely professional and friendly. He has been attentive every time and always makes sure everyone is doing well and things are running smoothly. From entering the doors to the end of the night, it has always been a good experience, and I highly recommend this place for whatever the occasion. 5-Stars to the Staff and manager, 5-stars to the performers and DJ, and 5-stars to having a great time.

I want to start by saying the ricks Cabaret is a nice club. Nicely redone lots of girls good drink specials music was good environment was good everything was good but except one thing. It was a dancer by the name of Amanda. Today took a day off from work ran a couple errands kick back relax but really having a good day decide to go to ricks everything was done to relax drink a couple cold ones and see whats going on. Walked in was greeted girls are nice set down its on the side down I got a beer they have prime rib for the lunch special. Had a beer have something to eat everything was going great until Amanda showed up. This lady sat next to me I have met her once before and she was OK. We set down she starts dancing didnt ask for a single dance she kept dancing. Then when the waitress came in I need another drink she asked if Amanda needs a drink I said OK fine Ill be nice and get her a drink. Now she keeps dancing take 15 minutes we get our drinks I pay everythings all right. As soon as the drinks and the waitress leave she said now you gonna give me 60 bucks for the dances right in there I stopped. She said you gonna pay me 60 for the dances I never asked for a single dance. She care about us you cant bug and I said look Im going to leave right now if you keep asking. Should I get the manager I said go ahead. I said look near as nice as your dance I bought you A drink thats it. I said you know what Ill be nice and give you $20 but Im leaving right now which is exactly what I did. Totally ruin my day off totally ruined my afternoon. If you go to ricks I highly recommend you watch out for a dancer named Amanda she will try to get it what she can and will try to con you. Other than that Ricks is a great place just watch out for Amanda.

This was the first time in a couple years since Ive been here, and this will be my last.My own waitress forgot who I was/ what I had on my tab, and took forever to come serve me while she was chatting it up with other tables.All the girls I talked to except for one hustled me, and I am not a fan of it.The $20 cover charge is a bit outrageous, but they at least give you food for it.

9 dollars for a shiner is ridiculous. No girls dancing. At least at the other ones Ive gone to here have had dancers a beer for less than 7. Biggest complaint is beer prices wouldnt even wanna think what a shot costs. Oh the girl at the door had her makeup and everything else all over the counter and they still charged 10 to get in with no dancers. The only reason for 2 stars is the Asian bartender.

I went during the day and the waitress where to busy talking with each other than helping me. I used to go to the ricks in Austin I used to know the bartender there and I was friends with a manager named Jason he was great the ricks in San Antonio sucks they need to fix alot first of all the bartenders need to pay attention to all customers because you never know when that customer might give an amazing tip or work for a very big entertainment magazine and I doubt they are going to like the review and the article I write, Im going to go back this week to see if maybe it has changed day time is the best time to see how they really run the club.

Still one of the most relaxing environments around. The wait staff, bartenders, hosts, dancers and management have always been professional (and fun). I have always felt welcome whenever I go days or nights. I haven’t been in several month due to the recent pandemic crisis but I cannot wait until the grand re-reopening!

This place is a joke. No diversity in San Antonio. We wanna see some Asians and Black girls too. What’s with all the white girls with surgery to look black? And you play black music without black people? That’s why Houston is a better city and the selection of girls are better. Stop discriminating!

Waste of time. Lucky the cover is free till 7. Not one waitress stoped. Guess thats why the word wait is in the name. The girls were below average at best. Saw about 5 girls for the night. Id have a better chance of taking to a comatose woman in an old folks home. Probably would not go back.

I was in Ricks last Friday night my friend paid my tab. then another customer Paid my tabs for the bartender Karla I then received a text From Jacob that my time was not paid so Saturday night I went in paid my tab. Then my stolen credit card was ran for my tab. The bartender then spoke with me over the phone and after my tablet and paid 4 times she still never received her money back from the other customer who paid my tabs however Ricks did Give me back a $170. Do not trust Michael Jacob or Ryan At that club. The previous night Bambi one of the best answers Ive ever Caught Ryan trying to be shady with my tabs that night and she went off on him. ricks is not an honest establishment In my opinion

Really disappointed by Ricks. Went with a girl and stayed for a little over an hour. Wings where great, bathroom attendant was great. The thing that bothered me was in over an hour every girl went on stage at least once, but at no point did any do any pole work and at no point did any get topless. I spent over an hour at a topless bar and NO ONE WENT TOPLESS.

Dont even open a tab here. Had shots and extra drinks on it. Ordered three rounds on 2 dollar Tuesday. Got a tab of 77 dollars. Manager was even a scum bag. Saying he would take shots off. I mean yea take shots off we didnt even order them. What a dumb ass. Might as well have gone to the mens club. At least they have better girls.

Had a great experience here, everything was executed from the moment we walked in and were greeted at the door by the front desk, down to the prompt attention and service from the waitstaff, excellent drinks, and all the dancers were on pointDef coming back here often👌🏻

Went for a day date with my husband and only one gilr was worth it. We bought vip passes but were never engaged. My husband even had a stack of $1000 in change on the table but no-one paid attention. Was offered coke... Thats the only thing going for this place in the daytime. Otherwise the surroundings need updating and remodeling as well as the girls...js

Went here for a buddy’s birthday and it was a blast!! We got a few bottles and closed stayed till close. The girls were pretty and very friendly. The staff was great. Music was amazing. Definitely going to be going back!!!!

This place is horrible!! 75%of the strippers were fat hardly spoke english. We had $200 dollars stolen off our table by one of the fat strippers. We reported it to the manager and was told well check the cameras tomorrow and figure it out. So then when we go outside we get harassed by the fat rent a cop and had to stand on the sidewalk and wait for the cops to show up. Then the little greasy GM comes out and says let resolve this but was unwilling to check the cameras or give our money back. He then goes on to try and bribe us not to call the police but still unwilling to give our money back. If you wanna get ripped off this is the place to go! Dont say i didnt warn you!!!

I didnt even get to visit the place. I called to see if they were having dancer auditions and the front desk lady couldnt have been more unhappy to be talking on the phone. Im not even going to waste my time on this place if they dont take new hires or just phone calls in general seriously. Imagine the rest of the staff if their front of house representative has an attitude lol.

On 9/21/16 I was assaulted inside of ricks, Told the General manager Buddy Ogden of the assault taken on me and he advised me that he was not going to kick out the gentleman who assaulted me because the group of men are regulars and that they spend money . As I was leaving I was then assaulted again by the same gentleman and robbed by 4 other men outside of the club in the parking lot. This would not of had happened to me if the GM would of done his job. This is not a good establishment for women seeing they have security but refuse to use them when necessary. I am taking all measures against the club and against the men that assaulted and robbed me. Please if you have been a victim of anything similar dont be scared to speak out, YOU HAVE RIGHTS!

Went to Ricks on friday last week and I had a great time. The ladys were nice and had and enjoyed the time with them. The wait staff were on point. Im here at Ricks today and its a good day for me..

The service was awesome the club was LIT!!!!! So lucky I went here for a night out and that Freddie Grooves 🥵 🔥 can I just say what a man what a man what a mighty good man!!! I had never played poker before and didnt really wantbt learn how to play a new game while loosing my money so when my buddy asked if I wanted to go play poker I said no thank you... Then when he asked if I wanted to go to the strip club my response was no thank you I can get teased for free. But when he asked if I wanted to have a beer how could say no to that!? Then he said how about we have a beer at the strip club? Well I guess if were having a beer naked women would not ruin the experience so OK... Then he said while were having a beer at the strip club how about we play poker? Ill pay youre buy in! How could I say no to that!? So now we play poker and drink and Ricks in San Antonio!Free Tournament tonight but there is a $300 prize!!

I’m not sure if it’s just because it was a Monday night but this place was terrible. 20 dollar cover plus 20 dollar fee to be able to get dances. I sat down and left after 10 minutes of being inside.

This is my favorite weekend spot, i wouldnt go anywhere else. All the bartenders make great drinks, erin at the front desk is amazing, kasey runs the floor perfectly, and the entertainers are on point 🔥 👌

I had a blast at this club! From management to dancers everyone keeps it classy. Management here is very accommodating to make sure customers have a great experience.

Came to Ricks with my boyfriend I have never been to a womans strip club before but the minute I walked in the door I was greeted very friendly and once we walked into the bar the waitresses were so happy and glad to see me they welcomed us set us right in the middle of the bar and we actually had a real good time a couple of the waitresses come up to make sure that I was having a good time they were so nice and sweet and very personable thanks Ricks for a good time we will definitely be back

Don’t like the people running the place. They’re rude to their workers and they’re clearly pervs. Go San Antonio men’s club n save your time. Had a manager try n charge me for drinks outta no where cause they thought I was drunk enough to pull it off. Suppose to be a corporate bar buts run like a nasty hole in the wall.

This place was disappointing to say the least. The girl to guy ratio was 1-10 the service was terrible. The location is extremely sketchy and the bathrooms were disgusting. San Antonio was a disappointment.

Amazing time, door man good attitude. Dancer took me to the private area and knew what she was doing . I would be spent all my money on her if I wasnt on vacation hell of a place

Bar service was great. Paid the 20 for VIP only problem is they dont have many girls and only half of what they have are good looking the others are water buffaloes.

Went in an sat down..had my wife with me...20 minutes went by with no one waiting on us..got up an went to the bar..same problem..niether bartender waited on me..went to front door an asked for manager..asked him why we were not getting served an he didnt have a answer...all he did was walk me to the bar an told them I needed some drinks..also while we were there no dancers striped...remained in their clothes on all 3 stages...got up an left after we finished the one drink I had hell getting...I managed the no 1 strip club in tx for 15 years..I made it no 1...I know what to do...this entire staff except for door girl needs to be fired...complete joke..

This is where I go for the old school feel of a strip club. Its sexy, dark, great drinks, and some of the cutest ladies in town that are welcoming and sweeter than stevia!

So I had the worse experience with new waitresses it was my last day in town but I gotta admit after talking to manager he made it up so that’s why I’m doing 5 stars he took care of me and made me forget about the bad so hand down to the manager those are the ppl owners need to keep and give them a raise

Tony and black mike are chill the club is really lit and the bartenders pour heavy if you’re trying to get lit on a weekend this is your spot.
