This gay nightclub is amazing! The music was on fire, keeping everyone dancing all night. The crowd is friendly, and the vibe is electric. Definitely a great place to have an unforgettable night out!

My group and I had an awful bar experience. The first female bartender completely ignored us and rather serve her friends. 5 friends later she finally came to the line forming. The second scolded us about only ordering from the bartender we opened a tab. They must not like making money because we are huge tippers depending on service. It may be time for them to look for a new job.

The bouncers have no sense of what they are doing. You can be sitting there with your friendsand get dragged out because you look irritated . I was a patron since 2020 but never again. Unless you are physically starting trouble or there is a disturbance you should be able to enjoy your time. I do not recommend this place. Favoritism at its best.Go after 2 when they stop serving is your best bet.

Guys can use the girls restroom/ just be in the girls restroom just to chill and ask the girls if they want drugs but girls can’t use their restroom. The girls restroom line was long mind you both genders were in girls restroom that’s why it was so long. Which i don’t care I didn’t say nothing the first time I went to the restroom. But girls restroom ended being to long the second time I had use restroom bad so went to the other restroom and got kicked out for using it. MIND YOU THERE WAS “security” or whatever letting people in and out of guys restroom and they said nothing to me going in until “management” came and escorted me out the restroom when I was done Make it make sense🤔

Pappy has been by far the best bartender I have ever met. Its always such a joy seeing him, and what creativity he has to offer.

Horrible Friday night bartender “Enrique” was so rude and unprofessional. Yelling at other customers because they chose not to tip and telling the customer he only serves people who tip . Ruined the whole experience and vibes didn’t even want to order a drink from him so went to another server who was 10x better than him . He needs more training or to be let go because that kinda attitude won’t get him any tips in the near future.

Love this place, but my complaint is the front door ppl are dishonest. I paid $15 for 3 of us to get in and tipped $1, cuz Im about to a ton inside, and front door didnt really DO anything for me. As soon as we get inside, I get a notification that I was charged $18. Then 2 more notifications that I was charged $5 for join in amusements so they stole $12. Imagine if they did this to everyone that walks in....$$

The price is a little much but being that it is the only dance club on the strip it’s better then nothing. Music is good, two dance floors, clean and well maintained. I’ve had some good times!

It was my first night in San Antonio, so I went to this bar as it was recommended. At first, good music was playing but it was kinda empty. After 2pm, it started getting busy once the other bars closed. I was standing at the bar and approached by another patron who was quite relentless. The bartender completely ignored us for about 20 minutes as he kept walking back and forth pretending to be busy, although not actually helping anyone. Meanwhile, I was being groped by this man next to me that I wanted nothing to do with. I tried to get the bartender’s attention finally succeeding after a gruesome 20 minutes, ordering an angel shot which I assumed would be universal bar code for help. However, that was not the case as the bartender merely informed me that alcohol sales had ceased for the night. Perhaps a more thorough training is required of Heat’s bartenders to understand when their patrons are being harassed and when to intervene because I felt completely unsafe. Quite honestly, if this bartender had even attempted to make eye contact in our general vicinity within these 20 minute he could have recognized that something was not right. Not a safe bar to go to

I’ve never been more disappointed in a club experience. My wife and I went in on a Friday night for some drinks and dancing. The bartender in the back room was wonderful. When we went to the front area we ordered some drinks and when I closed out the drinks there were 4x what we previously paid. When it was brought up to the bartender he played it off as if the price discrepancy were not true. It became apparent that the place was dead for a reason. This used to be our go to for a great night out but now it’s apparent that it was dead on a Friday night for a reason. They tried to take advantage of us on a slow night and luckily we caught it. Watch out if you go here.

A bartender was being ugly with us just because somebody told us we could dance on the bdsm cage when apparently we couldn’t and they were being very ugly with us. I loved this place but I don’t respect ppl who disrespect others.

It’s a great place to party and dance after hours but all they play is rave EDM music all night long I wish they can change it up.

This place is fun ! And definitely a place worth trying it was my first time but the vibes were awesome everyone was there to have fun and no one was there to judge one another . Meet some chill ppl .drinks at the bar were strong . the drag show was really cool and they had three or four bars with multiple different areas to dance and music even including an outdoor area. Im definitely straight but this please can definitely be fun if you arent awkward or Uncomfortable with seeing to people of the same-sex making out.

We ordered the VIP section and we got 3 bottles of the Crown Apple Peach the staff took away the last one without even telling us and didn’t let us drink our alcohol on the dance floor? Which was weird because everyone else was allowed we ended up paying $300 and they added a tip for themselves of $60 which we didn’t sign for the staff let us buy the last bottle after 2 AM then told us they couldn’t let us have it because it’s after 2?!? It was RIDICULOUS! Paid for it and didn’t even get to drink it?! Total SCAM IT WAS MY HUSBANDS BIRTHDAY 🥳 & totally disappointed how the night ended also there was a lot of guys walking around going up to girls asking them if they want free drugs going in the girls bathroom with different people I didn’t understand how that happened cause they had security there with a dog walking around but obviously that wasn’t enough!!!!!

First time here . No one got on the dance floor till 1245/1am . Expensive watered down drinks. Music was not great, the beat dropped the same note every song. But the light show was fantastic.

Ugly in the inside 5 dollar cover for nothing DJ bad and bartender was sitting on top of the bar with his legs indian style talking to a customer there was a ladder and the second part of the bar then some kind of power washer in one of the other part of the bar bartenders had no personality nothing was good

I think the place has a nice vibe. If you go early (around 10pm) the cover was only $2 which is reasonable for the place. It has a lot of nice little nooks and crannies with different vibes. The dance floor was a little small and crowded. The bartenders are quick and attentive and free refills on soda pop for the designated driver. Of course, like most bar coke...its usually flat. I like the open air bar. It was calming...but the sofas were really uncomfortable and awkward to sit in..its like they are pushing you not to sit in them.

Always plays great music, drink advice is quick and fast, staff is polite.

Went for an awesome show and was very Disappointed.The performers were awful or mew ! The bartenders were very slow, took 23 min to get a drink . SMH. We went in 2015 and the show was awesome… Not anymore, go down the street to Pegasus … Now they know how to put on a show .

First, nowhere on their site is it stated that theyre cash only at the door but dont worry theres an ATM right by the door that charges $3.50 to use. Wanna guess who owns it? Not a whole lot of room for their drag shows and most can barely mouth the words to the songs theyre supposed to be performing. Last bit, staffers are rude, forcing their ways through the crowd with no apologies and only rude retorts when patrons say anything. Really just better served going elsewhere.

Gay or not this is a legit vegas like night club! The music is bumping hard and the light show is amazing. Try not to dance. I did nit use the bathroom when i went but i hope they clean it every 30min like in vegas

The Drag Shows are fun and entertaining! Great drink specials before 11 and usually no charge before. But the music... I like to dance but these DJs should be playing somewhere else. Don’t expect Gaga, Marina, or any of the skinny legends. Not saying they’re bad, but just don’t really understand the demographic they are supposed to be catering to. Otherwise, good place to hangout, just don’t expect much after the drag show is over.

This club is a mess! First of all, its a really small club so if you are a little claustrophobic, dont come here. The staff was not friendly and my friends were groped repeatedly by the people around us. The music is not good for dancing. However, the drag shows were an absolute blast. The only time I would come here again is for the drag shows. And even then, Id question it because theres no room to sit and it gets uncomfortably crowded.

Had a friend to get his jacket stolen once he informed the staff, they ended up giving it his thief. A simple review of the cameras would have shown what happened…… good thing my friend used this as a growing experience.

With a mixture of great drag performances, funny competitions, and music variety, this club is my favorite so far in San Antonio. The Heat features two distinct dance floors which play two different varieties of music (from what I can tell). There are drag shows that take place but dont stop you from dancing if you wish on the other dance floor. The atmosphere is very energetic compared to other clubs and overall I have a blast when I go.

Used to be the place to go, but now they’re almost always dead until 2am since they’re the only after hours place on the strip. They barely have drag shows anymore, and the DJ is never good. Plays outdated music and bad mixes. They’ll advertise a certain genre of music for the night, but they still just play what they normally play. Wish they would up their game.

Went to enjoy the night with a couple of friends, got there and they laid out the rules for the minors, basically dont touch or drink alcohol. Perfectly fine, then headed toward the bar, was about to order a mock margarita when one of the main bouncers who usually at the door comes up to me asking me why I am drinking explained to him that I had just ordered a mock margarita, the bouncer then continued to put his hands on me and pushed me from the back of the club to the front, I told him to get his hands off me and he grabbed even harder. As soon as I got to the front one of the guys at the door gave this sad excuse about how one minor did this so they are being cautious about everything. BOUNCERS WILL HARASS MINORS !!!!!!!!!!

Extremely disappointed with this place. First off my girlfriend and I paid $12 to get in for an ok DJ, and then they made SEVERAL CHARGES to our card throughout the night!! Purchases we never made! It didnt just happen to the two of us but to our friend as well. I had to cancel my card and order a new one, I would NOT trust them.

Killer drag shows, and better bartenders! i saw a great show, left my wallet there, and it was returned to me with EVERYTHING intact. Go here for good shows. good drinks, and friendly folks!

This place is garbage. Atmosphere is so stale. The lack of dress code is pathetic. The dance floor is awful. Bodyguards are hilariously bad, the bartenders are incompetent.SA is a bar town, this club illuminates that brightly.

It used to be the best gay club in SA, but music-wise, it’s complete trash. It’s still nice to go to for drag shows, but regarding the music, it’s nothing but EDM/techno stuff that no one is familiar with or it’s bad EDM remixes of mainstream top 40 songs. They also play the same beats non-stop, so it gets super lame. The DJ’s here clearly don’t know their audience. This is a gay club, not the Ultra Music Festival or some frickin’ foam rave.Knockout, another club on the Strip, plays much better music even though it’s smaller & their dance space is limited (especially when packed/busy), so I’d suggest going there if you wanna dance to more fun/upbeat music. Their music consists of more variety; ranging from pop to dance to latin to hip-hop to R&B.

Music is decent. Dancing across the floor to get to my friends I slipped on the floor because someone spilled their drink. Right after I slipped an employee came up to me and told me that people complained about me and that next complaint I would be kicked out. I didnt talk or dance with anyone other than my friends. I left right after I was told this because it killed my vibe.

This club is definitely one of the best clubs to go to. Has great drag shows multiple nights throughout the week. The Heat has great drinks and great specials. Make sure to check it out.

Been coming here since 2006, maybe 2005. Either way, it is a nice place to drink. Cost toooooo much for bad drink specials and rude DJ. WAS TOLD THAT THERE ARE NOOOOO REQUESTS. BUT SONGS SUCKED..NO ONE..NO ONE DANCED. I dont think minorities are welcomed here. In San Antonio of all places. DEAD!! CAN SOMEONE OPEN ANOTHER 18 AND UP LGBT SPOT. DONT GO TO HEAT!!! I would give 0 stars if it was an option. Others are lying..no one looked like they were having a good time..only drinking..of course..once you pay..you might as well stay!!You would think if no one dances you would take requests...STUPID!!!!

After reading the recent reviews, I will not be vising this place. Sounds like it needs a new management/owner. Ill be back for the bankruptcy auction.

If you ask for water you will be refused and offered a bottle water at $3.50. If you ask for tap water they will not give it to you as their bartenders will get in trouble for doing so. This business practice is evil and needs attention. Management, change your policy. This is rude.

Thursday EDM night is sad remixes of songs. Either the club had a bad selection or the DJ is tone deaf. The drinks are okay and help drown your ears from what they call EDM. There is a difference between dance music and electronic dance music.

Why they gonna charge f cover charge and have this place smelling worse than the Peg… no mam. Someone hire a cleaner please 🤮

I gave one star because I gave the cashier 100 dollars for 6 people and she only gave me back ten dollars ... Be sure to know what the cover charger is even if your buzzed so this does not happen to you
