Wonderful head spa! We dont have any close to our home, so I came here while visiting San Diego. What an awesome way to end our trip! I love how my hair and face feel! Such an awesome experience and we will be back!

I had an amazing massage here! It was affordable and the staff were so helpful, they even moved my appointment up a couple hours on short notice. I feel like a million bucks! Definitely check it out!

They told me what I wanted was one price over the phone when I made the appointment, and big shocker, it was considerably more once it was over. The facial massage was not relaxing at all and involved a lot of scratching and rapid movements. This is a place in gaslamp for people who are drunk and see it and decide to walk in for some entertainment. They don’t need repeat customers.

Wow, what an amazing and rejuvenating experience. This isn’t your run of the mill big modern day spa with uptight providers . It’s cozy, welcoming, and I loved how environmentally conscious the materials and products they have are. The Headspa treatment was phenomenal. I suffer from unmanageable dermatitis and I have never seen my scalp so clean, moisturized, and fresh looking. She put full effort into the treatment and it came out fantastic!

I got a massage and pedicure. Both were awesome and the person who helped me was amazing. Price was great too. Would highly recommend!

We had a 8:15pm appointment for two pedicures. We arrived on time and waited patiently for us to be called. We made a female employee aware of our appointment and she immediately grabbed the buckets to setup. Once in the chairs we were ignored for approximately 15 mins before receiving service. When we received service it was the female staff member splitting her time. My water was cold after waiting for her to halfway finish the person with me. The male employee who did my pedicure didn’t cut my toes properly and gave some half-baked excuse about filing the nail. I’ve had numerous pedicures before and each time they removed the skin that has built up on my nail. I did ask him to remove the additional skin and he did an awful job you can see in photo one.

Let me just say this first, I got the best massage I’ve ever ever had in my lifeeee, from Muie (Mia). As someone who is consistently in the gym and very active, my body gets worn down pretty fast and can feel inflamed almost all the time - especially my shoulders. Though I live in Atlanta, I am always on the look for a good massage to help my body get back to equilibrium. From the start, I knew Muie was going to be great. She offered the best customer service, she’s so sweet and definitely knows what she’s doing when massaging. She knew the areas that needed more work and she was able to use just enough pressure without hurting me. I walked out of there feeling like a new woman and also sad because I can’t take Muie back to Atlanta with me. Thank you so much Muie!

What a lovely experience for a mani/pedi! I was able to walk in without an appointment and was helped right away even though they were busy. The staff was very courteous and friendly. I loved the fresh aloe leaves and citrus-scented water, a nice change from artifically perfumed lotions. A great way to start any vacation, I highly recommend you pay a visit!

Had a facial here for the first time with Halle and she was absolutely amazing! She took her time and explained every step she was doing and made sure I was always comfortable. Very happy with the service 10/10 recommend and definitely will be coming back.

Love those people work ar Suki day spa. All massage therapists are very professional. Everytime I come tot San Diego I will come to get 💆‍♂️ massage. highly recommended

Went today for a manicure and pedicure. Ended up adding on. 30 min foot massage. Susan took care of me and it was oneOf the best mani/pedi’s I have ever had. It was so relaxing and she did a very thorough job. I would definitely return here and would recommend Susan without hesitation!

Best foot massage ever and it’s only $29!!!! Definitely going back. The two women had the best attitudes. We went before Padres game and will be here from now on before games.

Tried their head spa. Never have had scalp TLC like that before! Really enjoyed Hallie taking care of me.They do so much in the 90 minutes, there is a lot included in the service.

Had a couples massage on our “baby-moon”. This place is a hidden gem. It was excellent. The place was clean and comfortable, the staff was very kind and respectful. My wife had prenatal massage which she loved. We hope to come back someday.

I wanted to check out the head spa there because I have seen online there are so many videos of it. It was such a nice experience and really worth it for me. It included a facial as well and so much massage for the head, face and neck. They were so nice and helped me to understand all the steps and what it was doing. Definitely recommend!

Amazing experience. Had 1 hour massage and it was wonderful. The ladies are so pleasant and made us feel so comfortable we felt at home. Took my 2 daughters for pedicures and manicures. They took such great care of them. Very relaxing and highly recommend it.

The prices here are ridiculous, and not even for that great of work. they use buckets instead of consistent water flow so it gets cold right away and its uncomfortable and she didnt clean up my nails that well. this all could be overlooked if the price wasnt almost 25$ more than you can get anywhere else with more attentive service. the only reason I went here was because my usual spot nail care and spa was closed and never again! really wish I just waited till the next day when they were open, not worth it.

This is a hidden gem. I was looking for a place to get a mani and pedi and found this place. From the moment I walked in, I received excellent service. They use orange peels in the water they used on your feet and hands, they don’t rush when prepping the feet and hands, I got a hand and foot massage (complementary) and it was so good I asked for a a. 30 min foot massage. They are constantly asking whether you are comfortable and finished my session with a refreshing water infused with lemon. If you are around, check out this place.

My boyfriend and I decided to go to Suki Day Spa because it was in downtown San Diego walking distance from our Hotel. Our experience was personal and phenomenal because they made sure we were taken cared of the entire time. Susan and Saki both assisted in the Pedicure + manicure we both got and we both loved it. We didn’t get the chance to get the name of the older lady that gave us feet and hand massages while the others did our nails. The most relaxing experience we were falling asleep. It’s the best our nails have ever looked! Next time we take a trip back to San Diego, we will be sure to stop by again at Suki’s.

I was able to easily make a same day appointment for a 90minute hot stone massage, manicure and pedicure. It is a cozy non-chain store. No bling but clean and a warm ambiance. They told me to arrive at 2, and everything went as scheduled. The massage was great, she spent extra time on the tight spots but did not ignore anything. Mani and Pedi were great too, no spa jets for your feet but it is still a great experience. I felt relaxed and refreshed when I left. They didn’t try and upsell me on anything which happens often with chain or hotel spas. Yay for supporting small, local businesses!

The service was so great, especially Mia. She helped me get my sandals on to avoid messing up the polish and didn’t mind when I had to fill up the meter. Everyone in general was kind, the massage was great, the lemon water was good. And no one was there at 5 pm on a Saturday. Would def recommend ! Arigato

Booked online back in June for today; Monday, July 11th. Had texted confirmation within approx. 1 hour (or less) of making appointment. Scheduled 90 minute deep tissue massage, manicure and pedicure. Arrived for 0950 today and was taken upstairs to see Meg for my massage. Meg was phenomenal and got out all my kinks and knots! Very peaceful, soothing and restful! Well needed! A very cold, chilled glass of water was provided afterwards! Once I squared away with Meg for the massage upstairs, downstairs I came. I met Susan who offered me some more ice water (yes! please!) and picked out my gel color (hot pink). The foot soak was perfect! Im very happy with my visit and my chat with Susan! Will definitely be returning during my next visit to SD! if youre not from the area and looking for some pampering, this place will not disappoint! ☺️💅💆‍♀️

I walked in and they had no trouble getting me started on my gel manicure right away. The nail technicians were extremely friendly and detail oriented. They took a long time working on my cuticles and shaping my nails to make sure everything was even and perfect. After my manicure, one of the girls gave me a long arm and hand massage with fresh aloe. I would highly recommend stopping in if youre nearby looking for a good deal for great service.

Such a beautiful experience getting the scalp treatment, it felt like a lot of care was put into the treatment and I feel absolute relaxed and rejuvenated after it, couldn’t recommend more. Will be sure to visit again when I’m back in town n

What a wonderful experience! For the pedicure, I LOVED that they soaked my feet in a big, beautiful, squeaky clean copper basin. The water was the perfect temperature and was infused with orange peel and eucalyptus. I opted for the callus removal add on and the tech did an AWESOME job. Ending with a fresh aloe rub (instead of a greasy lotion) was AMAZING. I was away on business at the time...so happy to have happened upon Suki Day Spa!

In town for SDCC and we were looking for a nice place to get a pedicure and manicure. We found Suki from a google search and I couldn’t be happier!!They use sustainable and natural methods that my sensitive skin loved. Their attention to service and comfort is unparalleled. If you are local or in the area for an event definitely come here. You will love the service, attention, and conversation.

In the military and needed somewhere that was open late. They are open until 10 by appointment. They took me in as soon as I came in. Its different. Nice quiet, nice and comfy. The lady was SO nice, but not too nice. The only complaint is that they didnt remove the dead skin around my cuticles. Which is why they are only getting a 3 especially because the total was $69 for a pedicure with gel polish. I prob wont come back because of those two reasons.

(This review is based on the service I received in May 2018.)Excellent spot for a mani/pedi in the heart of Gaslamp.Two of my colleagues and I booked a very last minute appointment for manicure and pedicure on a random Thursday night. I called ahead since sometimes salons arent ready for that many walk-ins at once, and the manager returned my call promptly and let me know they were able to make arrangements to cater to the time we wanted.I was a bit concerned since many nail salons in downtown have poor ratings and negative reviews, but at Suki Day Spa, the service was very excellent and both the manager and nail technicians took great care to check in regularly ensure we were all comfortable and having fun. As for the pedicure itself, some of my nails were not cut perfectly. However, I didnt point it out since I was only there for the group activity, and I am confident if I said something they would have fixed it right away.A really great bonus to this whole amazing experience I had at this spa was that they use real aloe vera they break off freshly as a natural alternative to artificially scented lotion. As someone with sensitive skin, I really appreciated this option.All around a superior experience and would absolutely recommend to anyone in town!

I got a massage and pedicure at suki day spa. I am very happy with their service. 2 girls was taking care of me and no up sell. I went so many spa they always up sell. Glad this one is not. I loved the sea salt pedicure. The touch is amazing. Too bad they dont sell the sea salt. Otherwise I will buy some.

Had a pedicure and my wife had a manicure that involved removing gel polish. The pedicure was great, my wife was super impressed with her manicure. Highly recommend to anyone looking to be pampered.

I entered the shop and was quoted $40 dollars for acrylic infills, service was okay but employees frequently spoke to each other about business in front of clients and often swapped over to different people for other treatments (as if they didn’t know what they were doing). The room was clean but the nail products used came from a plastic box that was clearly frequently used and I was unsure if they had been sterilised.The lady did my nails and when they were finished they looked to be in a good condition and they were the way I wanted them to be. However when it came to paying for them I was over charged and in the same day when I returned home one of the nails had broken (I assume due to the products that were used not being of a good quality). When I awoke the next morning 3 more had broken, when I rang the salon to report the issue I had they were rude, lied to me about the managers whereabouts when I asked to speak to them, and then refused to give me the refund that I had asked for.Extremely unsatisfied and would not recommend to anyone as my nails that I had on previously were in a much better condition than they are now, if I could give a 0 star rating then I would.

My friend and I went here to celebrate Mothers Day. The Mani/pedi was great. The massage however was strange. The massage therapist wore plastic gloves...? It was definitely not as smooth and was distracting. Also, both of our massages were too hard. I asked to lighten up a few times. Would recommend this place for nails.

I didn’t have an appointment, but they still decided to take me anyway. They were very kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. I was in and out of there in about an hour, they did not make me wait long. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone visiting San Diego or anyone who lives here

The head spa with Hallie was incredible!! Was not expecting scalp gua sha and such good massage, but now I fear no other head spa will live up to this one.

The people here are so nice but I had a pretty bad experience with getting gel nails there. I went on my lunch and by that night they had already started chipping/cracking. I went back less than a week later and they were so kind to redo all the chipped nails for me however the next day they were already chipping again. It upset me even more because they are more on the expensive side and I’ve never had this bad of a problem with gel before. I might have just been unlucky but overall I’m very disappointed. Very nice people though.

Good value for money, I had a back massage ahead of my long trip. Staff are professional, friendly, and well skilled. Went around evening/closing time, so not sure if that is the reason they did not notice that the toilet and toiletries needed some attention. They however do massage right.

First things first, I never write reviews. Ever. But the staff at Suki Day Spa took such good care of me, here I am thinking it’s a disservice to not review this place. Susan and Sofie both were amazing, I came in after a long, tiring week and didn’t know what to expect. The comfortability and quality of care was unmatched. I won’t even bother trying anywhere else. 11/10 recommend.

The most expensive nail salon I have ever been to. It cost 159 for gel pedicure, gel manicure w acrylic and basic French color and 10 min neck massage. At the other salon close to me I got a 15 min foot massage, gel nails w acrylic but w special colors that were designs AND a brow and lip wax for 139. Will not go back to this place and I live a block away.

Prices are out rages! Go somewhere else as they will rip you off and ADD additional charge for aspects that other locations will not charge. They overcharged for a basic change of color french at $50. Most places charge $35. GO to Downtown Nail Salon, they have better prices!

Always love visiting this place when in SD. Top notch manicures/pedicures in a very inviting atmosphere. The staff are friendly and caring. Try one of their extremely effective facials, always leave feeling 10 years younger! :)

Was a small nice place. Liked the fact it wasnt super busy. They offer you nice chilled lemon water. They have a scented candle burning in the room. They have a place to put your stuff. Everything was wonderful. I didnt really care from my eyebrow arch that my tech did.

I love this spa. The staff are fabulous and the ambience is so dope. Susan did such a great job on my eyebrows and manicure. Ill certainly be back and recommend it to my friends. Thank you!

Not the right place for quick in-and-out manicure because they really take their time, but if you are looking for a relaxing experience then this is a great location. Very cozy and the staff were awesome and so friendly, my nails look great!

I took my daughter in law for a swedish massage, mani and pedi. The staff was very courteous and friendly. I had a deep tissue massage to break up all of the knots in my back and shoulders and had the mani and pedi too. What I liked about that was that I got the mani and pedi at the same time which was a time saver. They dont close until 10p so its perfect for after work.

Best spa in San Diego! Been coming here over 6 years and haven’t gone anywhere else since. Friendly technitians and great service. Everything is great from nails, massage, lash extensions, waxing, etc I’ve done it all. Quality.

Lovely staff and amazing pampering experience!!! 90 min massage after I crashed my Lime Scooter :( and the therapist REALLY helped my aches and pains significantly! Served me hot tea during my Mani/pedi and I felt like a queen! Beautiful job ladies!

Great, friendly and clean place. They use real Aloe Vera instead of lotion. I love that you feel clean instead of sticky afterwards. Its all of the little touches that make a difference for me. I will definitely come back when Im in town.

This guy had ZERO massage experience. I literally asked him if he did... do you know how low you have to get to ask a massage therapist you just paid $55 to tap on your back if they even have certification of any type?? TERRIBLE!!! DO NOT DO IT! also people walking in and out, super loud, bright lights .. All BAD!

Wow... what a refreshing find. No big puffy olaastic chairs and foot bins here. Low slung seating with pillows..copper bowls with rocks and herbs for foot soaking..top.of the.line products and REAL massage techniques are what you will findwhen you conne .in ..for floor pedicure ...I also used the waxing services. Extremly gentle with amazing results...The ladies have a new regular and its Me!!!!

In SD for a quick vacation and after a bad nights sleep, I came to Suki for a much needed massage. It was exactly what I was after. The hot stone was great (especially for the $15 fee). I definitely recommend this establishment- great value!

This spa is great! Their service is impecible. They offer tea and snacks, they are very polite and did a great job on my pedicare and massage! They are also open ALL day on Christmas! I called 10 places that were all closed before finding this place and it was the best choice!

I was able to call and ask if they would do a fill & pedi at 945pm.. They took me in and wiped the sweat from my face and arms. I had to walk fast a few blocks due to traffic from comic con.. They were very accommodating..

Found this gem on a trip to San Diego. It isn’t a typical nail spa setup, but the service and attention given is amazing.

We saw this place and went for a manipedi. The ladies did a really good job and were also really nice. I went back for a massage a week later and that was also really good.

Had the best facial! Friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, and great prices. Definitely worth it. Will come again when visiting San Diego next time!!!

Walked in, interested in getting a manicure and nobody greeted me. The lady was sitting in the chair too. I walked right out. Not giving a dime of my money.

She left lint hanging in my nail polish and the acrylic looks like I need to get fillers. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Y’all save yourself and ya money.
