I was passing by while working and decided to go out to this club. The architect of the club is amazing. It has a really nice colored glass tower that reaches the second floor. The vibes were great and staff were nice but the music mixing sucked. Ill definitely be back

Had the party bus for my friends birthday and the driver was super friendly very communicative, professional and easy on the eyes. Thinking about using them again for my birthday. I recommend their party bus service ask for Abdula

Super high-energy and perfect for dancing. the music is great, and the lighting and aesthetic contribute to creating the perfect nightclub vibe. a must-visit for a fun night downtown.

Super cool layout. The Saturday night that we went, they were playing only hip hop. We were looking for more EDM vibes or at least a bit of a mix. The place was pretty busy with a college-aged crowd. The bathrooms were very clean. We will definitely return if they have an EDM night. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a schedule with the types of music they play. Waitress was nice. Bar tender was also pretty chill. Drinks were strong, in a good way. More of a Vegas style club, which I appreciate. Sound system was on point. The DJ played some tracks that seemed slightly corrupted (bass sounded like it was clipping). I don’t blame this on the venue.

Because they kick me out The supervisor has a friend they fight me Im a victim. I was working in a bar security. They lied the police. They said no fight in the bar. I have a Proof picture and video. How many people they quit from the bar?Account, they are.Enough to the ones work for cheap money $16 an hour No loyalty respect employee

This used to be one of my favorite clubs to get at i spend $200 plus here usually every week or 2 and to come to conclusion . it is shady business compared to other bars. they need to brighten up and get off a high horse. aswell theres enough staff to be on the lookout for lost items when a report is made. Maybe picking up a phone would be ideal , i mean whats the point on having a business phone number.

This place sounds like the Balcony. I wont go there either because of their ill mannered staff, taking a full drink away while youre on the dance floor and pricy, watered down drinks.Terrible.

I seen someone take my purse and confronted them in front of the bouncers. They didnt do anything to the guy but let him go. Thankfully the police were across the street and they arrested the guy after they had to ask for the surveillance footage. I do not recommend this place. They can care less what happens in there club. They let men in the womens restrooms. Didnt feel safe about that.

Service sucks and the music is even worse. No system or strategy for orders; bartenders will look at you multiple times and serve everyone around you and claim there’s a line. This happens constantly at the downstairs bar. Plus, drinks are always expensive and watered down. Music has been the same playlist for years. The DJ is just for show, clearly no talent or skill needed just someone willing to be the face and do the bare minimum. Not many places you can go in terms of nightclubs in Boise and it sucks for a nightclub feel you have to pick one of these subpar few.

Boise Police tell me that they are actively looking into the security of this place being to aggressive and pushing people out the door. I tried to follow my friend out after he got kicked out for “being too drunk” and they hit my drink out of my hand after saying I would be leaving with him and pushed me out of the front door with security power tripping on me after I did nothing but stand up for my friend.

Upscale? Not in the slightest. Witnessed an awful scene last night when bouncer on this staff attacked an individual outside the club while they were standing on the sidewalk. The bouncers are clearly lacking deescalation training. I will never be back after that. The only reason the bouncer wasnt charged with a crime is because the individual declined to press charges. Id give zero stars if I could.

Table service is a rip off. Locked bottle and only 2 mixers. The limo service was more of a taxi and hurry up and get on and off. It’s a dance club and the music kept glitching.Absolutely horrible experience

Had a really bad experience with a mutual acquaintance there, the girls were so so amazing with calming me down, helping me through a very triggering situation, and took immediate action in the situation. Couldn’t have asked to be around a better group of wonderful humans that night to protect me. Very fun, and safe environment in my personal experience. Good drinks and even better staff.

I usually come here everytime Im in Boise which is almost every Saturday night. I like their upstairs VIP section which is where I like to hang out much of the time & even though theres usually small cover charge to get in that section which I dont mind.Usually always is a good chill crowd here which is fairly consistent with what youll come across in most places throughout Boise.While I have met some great cool staff members here from bar backs, bartenders and even some of the bouncers here are cool however I have bumped into some bad apples here in the past which thankfully is not very often which of course no matter where you go your always gonna find at least 1 or 2 of them once in awhile right?Thankfully usually for the most part the bad staff members dont stick around long so another words if you have a bad experience with a staff member here just wait a few weeks and chances are good the next time you come that person wont be here.The only hiccups about this club is while the happy hours specials arent bad for Boise standards the regular drink prices are a little spendy. Also if you plan to get bottle service & reserve a table here do plan to pay up since like most other clubs go to bottle service is not cheap!If you like being around great cool fun people, are a man that loves beautiful women & just wants to go out and have a good drama free time I highly recommend checking this place out. 4.5 out of 5 stars!

Where to even start? I asked for a drink and the bar tender said she didnt know how to make it, thats ok so I chose a different drink. The bar tender gave me cranberry juice instead of an actual drink! Thankfully a different bar tender corrected it but the drink still sucked and was way over priced. MEN IN THE WOMENS BATHROOM? We had to buddy up to go because there were men chilling in the bathroom, one was using his phone and visibly recording women in the bathroom! Half the locks didnt work on the stalls so needless to say it was a really uncomfortable experience.

Last night I witnessed couple bouncers unprofessionally handle a situation in the worse way possible. They should of not put their hands on anyone like the way they did. Especially when couple of them were females. Definitely not coming back and definitely telling everyone I know

Poor service. I asked for a Cinnamon Toast Crunch shot and they gave me something with jaeger. The music selection was total garbage, same with the atmosphere. . THIS PLACE IS TRASH. Go to Hannah’s, it’s way better.

Creepy bouncer stalked me off shift and attacked me and now somehow Im banned from the bar. The owner has issues for sure.

When I go downtown this is the first and only club I go to. The vibes are so good, the security team is excellent. All of them are always on top of everything and make sure everything is ok and everyone is safe. You can get drinks quickly for a decent price. They have a bar in the women’s bathroom so that way the girls can get away from all the dudes and just chill. I definitely recommend this club.

Men in the womens restroom?! No thank you. Each restroom trip I made the ladies restroom was flooded with men just chilling and drinking on the couches..... And yes some were straight men just staring at us while we were waiting to use the facilities and considering some stalls do not lock,I dont believe all women felt safe using the bathroom and a few voiced their concerns to others. I dont find this acceptable. Strange love had 4 or 5 people checking ids at the door, but no one securing the restroom. Just seems like this is the norm and when other women besides myself were voicing their concerns they clearly did not feel like they were safe using the restrooms.

We will never set place in this bar again. First off security is a joke. The health department should be called about drinks being served in the bathroom and the lack of cleanliness throughout the facility. Broken glass on the dance floor is never acceptable!! They shouldnt charge for coat check if they lose BOTH coats checked in. Employees should not be able to drink on shift and also need to be watched when running tabs. My card was over charged even when i left an appropriate tip. The bartenders are very rude. The girl bartenders refuse to serve other women...which is ridiculous. Obviously there is no Management taking responsibility. Horrible experience...especially how over priced it was for what they had to offer. I recommend going somewhere else.

This is one of my favorite nightclubs to frequent anytime im in Boise! They just recently did a remodel which I feel they fixed it up quite nicely! Much of the staff here is not only great but have also met some great people that do or that used to work here. If your like me by being a cool guy that has no bad intentions and thats out to have a good time while also being open to meeting cool people youll be treated well here. They have a nice little VIP room upstairs which I like to chill in much of the time that im here thats a bit hidden which is easy to miss if you havent been here and not know the establishment well. One thing id highly recommend this club do is put up a couple of signs on each of the entrances to the VIP lounge so that more people can find it and know about it. I do like that theres never a cover charge accept for on special occasions such as Halloween, New Years, etc. Not only this is a great place to go dancing, hang with friends & maybe even meet new cool people but for the most part the people that come here are quite chill which is common for most anywhere you go in Boise. While the happy hour specials here that they have till 11 each night they are open the regular drink prices in my opinion are a little on the pricey side. Definitely a 4.5 out of 5 star hands down! If your a cool person that happens to be in the Boise area and is looking for a fun place with good vibes and good people StangeLove is a must check out!

I absolutely love this club. The security team is excellent and has always made me feel welcome and safe. The bar tenders in the bathroom are always super nice, they have always been very respectful and gotten me the best drinks and the best conversations.I would highly suggest checking this club out it’s the only one worth going to in boise.

They have a great dance floor and good music but they tend to draw the wrong crowd. We usually end up here at some point in the night. Last time I was here I could not get a single bartenders attention I waited at least 15 minutes before I gave up trying. I was told by some people I was with that night that China is notorious for ignoring customers. So drink somewhere else before you get there if you want to check it out.

This is one of my favorite bars and can usually find me here every Saturday. However, this past weekend I lost something and messaged them on Facebook as soon as I realized that it was gone. They sent back an automated message that said to call them to their phone number for lost and found and they would get back to me from Monday through Friday 9 am to 2 pm. Ive called multiple times and have left multiple messages and no one has gotten back to me. I think its a great bar but they need to work on their customer service and get back to their customers. Ive called a number of times within their office hours and no one ever answers except for an automated message.

The club is decent but has a dress code. i got told at the door i couldn’t wear my $80 yankees hat and had to leave it out side and the doorman told me “when you leave you can pick it up and it will be there guaranteed.” and while i was in the club i saw all sorts of hats from teams but for some reason mine was out of the dress code. anyways i come out of the club and my hat is gone. doorman said the same words then added “unless someone steals it”. complete BS. do not recommend. also the floor was sticky and have bad service at the bar. didn’t even get served while i was standing there for over 30 minutes but he was serving other people that got there after me. waste of time and money and staff is lazy

The place was packed.There was a broken bar stool near the dance floor that I cut the pad of my toe off and scratched the top of my foot on. Getting any kind of assistance was a joke! The bartender told my friend if theres blood security has to deal with it, she tried to tell security and the guy just walked away. Real nice staff yall! Oh I guess i should thank the bartender she did give me a bandaid. Im pretty sure that there is some type of procedure for these incidents.Doing a great job on hiring Ted! Great looking staff and all, ( cute but stupid) its too bad they dont care about the Welfare of the customers.

Jared was great and gave my friend and I amazing service all night with drinks and entertainment. He definitely knows how to work a room and get people involved in all sorts of fun. He’s perfect for the environment of StrangeLove and I would recommend him to anyone.

We were having a great night for my best friends bachelorette party until the bartender in VIP took our money and then said it wasnt ours, then called security because we were arguing with her. Guess she needed the money more than we did. We wont be back!

Lost my ID there and when you call to ask if they have found any ID’s Over the weekend they just continuously push you further through the day until they are closed without letting you know if they have it. Overall every time I visit it is a mess and the bartenders are rude. Stick with either karma, the balcony, or hannas!

If you like overpriced drinks that arent made right or dont even have ingredients, then this is the bar for youAlso you can hear the same music here than you can find everywhere else.Looking for a perk that China Blue has that no other bar does try the restrooms, the restrooms are not properly labeled by doors instead you just wander down a hallway until you accidentally find yourself in the opposite sexs restrooms because you cant actually see the dark lettering on the walls within the dark rooms that point to where restrooms are.

Was going to tip the bartender in the girls bathroom with cash last night but he felt the need to get upset and try to make me feel bad for not tipping him on my card when I was going to turn around and get cash from my friends wallet. He needs to chill and if this is how he acts, should he be in the girls bathroom?

First and only place I go it’s lit in that bihh security dope I’m even personal friends with one, but I can’t 100% enjoy it because idk how much vip and bottle service are I carry $50 exact just so I don’t get robbed or something else. How much is vip and bottle services?

Decorations are good. Drinks over priced, music is the same stuff youd hear at prom in 2007. Paid extra for the EDM lounge. They didnt play any EDM, it was your regular top 20 pop and hip hop hits. Other than decor and a dress code, same as you can expect at all the other clubs. If you want EDM Amsterdam does a bit better at it.

So much fun! Bartenders were amazing! Bottle service was awesome and they made us feel like we were in a club in LA. Had a blast!!

Worst club in town, worst prices in town, worst atomsphere for dance clubs in town, and a dress code for dancing that is far too strict. The place in a big nope for me. All aboard the nope train. Go to Crow Bar across the street, way better, half price before 11 even.

I went to china blue for my very first time and someone got stabbed. One securitys should be checking for weapons for safety instead of just checking IDs that was my last and first time Im going. Theres no way that Im gonna be going and knowing that I can danger my safety.

I wish there was a negative 5 option. This place is a joke. I was nice to all the staff and when i went outside to smoke i tried to go back in and simple because I was talking about my ex husband for threatening to kill my son and I they kicked me out and belittled me. I want a refund for that night or I will report you guys for harassment.

Security just cant seem to figure out my out of state ID. Either they have to call like 4 different people over to look at it or they just flat out reject me. This has happened multiple times, its a better bet to just go down the road to Hannahs.

Poor service. People running front desk are rude and have attitude. Drama, fights every time we go!!! We pay for VIP.... no table to be served at. Not worth the money or time. Bad atmosphere all around.

Strange Love has a good vibe to it, security was friendly and helpful and the staff was very attentive and came back often to check on drinks and my group. The music was a good selection as well.

The space is great but honestly the DJ can stop playing the same set every week like seriously.. I know it by heart .. talk to him or find some other DJ. He got lazy really.. He better than that..

STAY AWAY: We literally had one drink before we went to China Blue and the doorman refused my friend and refused me. Jokes on them, I didn’t even have a drink yet. Which proves they only let specific people in. It doesn’t matter cause all the other bars in Boise are far better. Go somewhere else!

I agree with the other reviewers. The bar staff ( him/her ) seems always lazy and messes up drink orders. If they can’t hear the need to speak with the employer. If they can’t handle the job, get a different job.

Took an Uber all the way from Caldwell, the bouncers told you you couldn’t get it with slide flip flops after my friend got In with the same flip flops, this was the most rediculous experience I’ve ever had, don’t come here it made me want to punch the bouncers in the face which has never happened before, terrible serve, horrible staff

Drinks are expensive and the DJ is not willing to take recommendations. Security hassled me over a legal advanced CC permit and told me I have to find a police officer to verify it. Go somewhere else.

Why do i always end up here? Not bad for a club, it has a pretty decent layout, but im not really a club person. Occasionally, they have events that are pretty fun, but a little overpriced.

They gave me a warm beer told one of the girls the worked there that it was warm and she just shrugged her shoulders.

There was almost no one there on a friday night mid summer. I ordered a well drink and was charged for a route 44, the drink didnt even have a garnish.

Prices are definitely higher than they should be and the atmosphere is underwhelming. Generally somewhere I skip even when bar hopping.
